Chapter 909

Where They Belong

Cameron wanted to end the 'tail' with the car that continued to follow them. When they sped up, the tail car sped up. When they slowed down, the tail car slowed down. The tail still hadn't done anything yet. The longer she let it go on, the greater the risk became of more people showing up to help the tail car. With the drones overhead the threat was minimal if extra hostile personnel arrived. They were unsure which group it actually was.

They could wait and try to draw more of the unknown force out. That would make elimination easier if nothing else. That would take time. There was still a Skynet Terminator to deal with. 'The Enforcer' was still out there and that was the biggest threat.

It was time for action. They needed to finish this and go back to deal with the Grays. They were sure there was unfinished business at the Skynet infiltrated Syndicate casino where the Metal girls ran afoul of the Syndicate management team. They'd gone back later on to show their displeasure in the way things were run at the casino and cleaned out the vault. If they'd eliminated any Syndicate soldiers it didn't matter to the top dogs very much. Losing money did matter to them.

Cameron was ready to act. It was her job to disable the vehicle and Cammy's job to attack the occupants after they spun around and headed towards the unknown vehicle.

She wanted Savannah to stay down in case there was return gunfire.

Cameron pulled hard on the emergency brake and cranked the steering wheel as she spun the SUV around.

The sedan that tailed them was taken by surprise.

Cameron's SUV spun around a hundred and eighty degrees and headed for the car. She was on top of it in seconds. She fired her Glock three times. She hit both front tires and the left rear as she passed the vehicle.

Cammy emptied her M4 magazine into the passenger compartment of the car as Cameron sped by. She saw hits scored on both of the occupants in the car. They seemed to be taken by complete surprise. If they were Syndicate thugs, they weren't used to this type of reaction. More than likely most of the targets they would have dealt with would have been soft targets that wouldn't have offered much resistance let alone any opposition.

The sedan was no longer under control. It drifted towards the ditch that ran alongside of the road. With three flat tires, it didn't go far before it stopped.

Cameron stood on the brakes and threw the SUV into reverse as soon as it stopped. She backed up to within a hundred feet of the tail car and stopped.

The sedan no longer moved.

Cameron needed to inspect the vehicle for survivors. She wanted some answers. She didn't want Savannah to venture out yet. Cammy and her could do the initial inspection. She wanted to make sure Savannah could flee the area if somehow they'd been set up.

"Savannah, take the wheel." Cameron said. "Take off if you need to."

Savannah wasn't about to abandon Cameron and Cammy on a deserted desert road if things went bad.

"I'll take the wheel but I won't run." Savannah said. "I'm sitting in a nearly five thousand pound weapon at that point."

Cameron made sure that there were no other vehicles around them before she exited their SUV. The drones were able to give her a good overview of what was happening around them. They were alone and isolated.

Cammy and Cameron exited the SUV and headed for the car they'd just shot up. Savannah climbed over the seat and took the steering wheel. She left the engine running, just in case.

The tail car was now in a ditch alongside of the road, there was a deeper ravine near it.

Cammy and Cameron approached the vehicle from both sides. They were spaced out so it would be harder for anyone to engage both of them at the same time. If one of them took fire, they would both respond and should be able to score hits.

There was no return fire, yet.

Cammy continued her approach. She was on the passenger side of the sedan.

"I see movement." Cammy said.

Cameron wanted to act before any of the survivors could respond with gunfire. She hoped to be able to take one of them alive so that they could be interrogated. She wanted to know how they got 'clocked' and how the 'Metal Bitch' knew to go to the casino hotel and where they were at on the top floor.

"Let's go." Cameron said.

They ran to the sedan that'd tailed them. Cameron ripped the driver's door off and yanked the driver out. He was dead. Cameron tossed his corpse onto the dirt on the other side of the car near the trunk.

Cammy moved up on the passenger's side and did the same thing. She spotted movement again as she reached inside of the sedan.

"This one is still alive." Cammy said as she pulled his bloody form out of the car.

Cameron quickly searched the car and then the deceased man. She looked for any GPS devices and at their phones.

Cammy attempted to question the bleeding man.

Cameron signaled for Savannah to back the SUV up to where she was at.

As Savannah backed up, she saw Cameron open the trunk of the tail car and stuff a dead man inside. She stopped next to Cameron.

Cameron looked at Savannah for a few seconds before she spoke. It was clear that she'd debated with herself if she wanted to ask Savannah the question that she did ask her.

"Cammy has a live one." Cameron said. "Do you want to question him?"

Savannah was actually surprised that Cameron asked her. She knew that interrogations that involved Terminators were bloody and brutal. None of them ended well for the one who was interrogated. She felt that she was sufficiently hardened to take on the task. Maybe one day it would be Young Allison and her on an operation. She would need to do the dirty work so that Young Allison didn't have to.

Savannah placed the SUV in 'Park'. She applied the parking brake and got out. She left the SUV running. She could hear gasping and wheezing sounds as she came around the side of the car.

Cammy held the injured man down as she asked him questions. There was blood coming from his mouth and nose. He showed several bullet wounds to his chest.

Cameron kept a careful watch on Savannah. She could see her reaction as to how injured the man was. She wanted to let Savannah know there wasn't a whole lot of time left.

"He's bleeding out." Cameron said. "He won't last long."

Savannah could see that the man was near death.

"What can I do?" Savannah asked.

Cameron would rather have Savannah assist and take over the interrogation at this point since the detainee was about to expire.

"You may assist Cammy." Cameron said.

Cammy heard everything that Cameron said to Savannah. She didn't agree with what Cameron wanted Savannah to do. She looked up as Savannah approached. She quickly snapped the dying man's neck. She didn't want Savannah to go 'Sheila' on him. She wasn't going to chance it. The man was no longer able to speak anyway. She didn't like Savannah in this close to violent death.

Savannah frowned. It was evident that Cammy didn't want her to do that.

"I guess I can't do much now." Savannah said.

Cammy glanced up at Savannah as she went through the dead man's pockets.

"He was unable to talk further." Cammy said.

Savannah saw the dead man Cameron put in the trunk earlier. She looked at the dead man Cammy worked with now. She saw that both of their forearms were checked for a Skynet barcode and none were found. She didn't believe that they were Grays or Fanatics.

"What are we looking at?" Savannah asked. "It looks like the Syndicate to me."

Cameron picked up the dead man and tossed him in the trunk. She jammed him in next to the other dead man. She slammed the trunk lid closed.

Cammy was able to get a few words out of the man she questioned before he terminated.

"Yes. He worked for the Syndicate." Cammy said. "They didn't know if the 'Metal Bitch' was involved in the robbery. They followed the 'Metal Bitch' to her last known location and thought we looked suspicious. They wanted to get the money back."

It seemed to Savannah that they should have some type of backup or reinforcements, especially if they thought that they had the money that was taken from the Syndicate casino.

"Are there more of them?" Savannah asked.

Cameron was well aware that they were always more of one type or another. The criminals never seemed to run out of recruits in any of the endeavors that she'd dealt with.

"There are always more of them." Cameron said.

Cammy was aware of encounters with Syndicate types in the past. The details eluded her. She felt that she may still have a score to settle, even if it was already settled in the past.

Gail's team received the report that Cameron's team had already taken down the vehicle tailing them. The first indication was that the men were Syndicate related.

Sheila perked up at the mention that the Syndicate had come after them again. She wasn't just referring to the episode with the three thugs in the dark narrow alley. She still felt there was unfinished business with the Syndicate, even if that business had already been concluded previously in the past.

"I think this is just getting started." Sheila said.

It sounded more like to Ally that it was concluded already.

"We missed it." Ally said. "It's over."

Gail's immediate concern was Savannah. She was pleased at the current outcome.

"Savannah is safe. That's all that matters." Gail said and then quickly added. "And John is too."

Now that Sheila knew they were Syndicate thugs, she really wanted to get her hands on one of them. She was disappointed that it wouldn't be anytime soon.

"I really wanted to question one of them." Sheila said.

Ally could see that Sheila looked very disappointed.

"Don't worry. I have a feeling there will be more." Ally said.

Sheila was aware Ally was correct. When it came to crime and criminals, there never seemed to be a shortage of them. There was always someone looking for a free ride and to take advantage of others. Some people always wanted to take advantage of someone that was weaker than them.

"There are always more." Sheila said.

Sheila was aware of encounters with Syndicate types in the past. The details eluded her. She was sure more than ever that she wasn't finished with what was started in the past. Maybe it was because they didn't want it to be concluded. Perhaps it was because the Syndicate still existed meant they hadn't 'won' yet. It was doubtful the Syndicate was something that they could ever fully defeat. It seems to be much the same with Skynet. No matter how many times they'd terminated it, it always popped back up.

Vanna and Allison were together. They were deep into a love making session.

Allison was worried that she may be taking too much from Vanna, based on her new role in caring for Precious.

"Do you want to see if Precious needs any?" Allison asked. "I don't want to finish it all off."

Vanna was already highly stimulated. She appreciated Allison's concern for Precious and for her. She didn't think it would be a problem for Precious but she did want Allison to 'get her there' since she was almost there.

"Between Jesse and Riley, she should be good for now." Vanna said. "Finish it off and finish me off, don't stop."

Allison didn't think she would have a problem with that.

"Don't worry. I know all the 'places' you like." Allison said.

Vanna couldn't agree with that statement more.

"You always have." Vanna said.

Allison felt she learned everything she knew about females from Vanna.

"You taught me everything I know." Allison said.

That was a very accurate statement. Vanna did teach her everything she knew about love making, at least in the past – the future. Her encounters with males consisted of her few assaults and the times she tried to get pregnant. Those were all quick 'in and outs' and no love making or sharing was involved. They weren't much different than the assaults, except there was no force or violence used. It was simple mating and nothing more. They were all finished in two minutes or less. One was only thirty seconds long, maybe less.

Vanna felt that when they added Jesse to the mix that they'd both learned more than a few new things.

"I think you have learned a few new things." Vanna said.

There were more than a few other females in the future for both Vanna and her that they dabbled with at times. None of the others for either of them was even close to the love they shared. If anything, it reaffirmed their love and commitment to each other.

"I think we all have." Allison said.

Vanna believed each new person brought something to the table that another one may not have previously. Everyone was a little different as to how things were done in a different way, even if it was the same thing.

"We have." Vanna said. "I like the learning process."

Allison was very pleased with everything that Vanna taught her.

"It's better to be a student in that case." Allison said.

Vanna thought that there were rewards to go around to all of them

"Being the teacher isn't bad either." Vanna said.

Allison was always ready to learn more. It seemed that she actually was able to learn more from Vanna. She believed that the main reason for that was that Vanna learned things from her mother.

"Do you have anything new to teach me?" Allison asked.

Vanna actually did have something new for Allison. She'd just learned a new technique from Claire before she joined Allison. She liked the idea that she would be able to teach the daughter what the mother taught her. The thought of that alone excited her immensely. It would be 'a dream come true' for her to have Allison and Claire side by side on the same bed at the same time.

"I may." Vanna said. "There's always homework to do."

Allison usually did most of her homework alone. She actually appreciated that at times because it gave her total control over what she would do and how she got there. She could also keep herself there longer when she was by herself.

"I like homework. It allows me to learn more." Allison said.

The two long time lovers resumed their love making with new passion. It always seemed to both of them that they were often as excited with each other as they were the first time that they'd shared.

Jesse was more than thrilled with her new 'ability' as a female. There were many times when she saw her female attributes as nothing more than a way for other people to derive pleasure from her. Now her body could actually do one of the functions it was created to do.

"I'll be close by if you need me, either Vanna or I will come." Jesse said. "This is something new for me. This is really something for me to look forward to."

Riley felt a lot less frustrated than she had since Precious was born.

"I really appreciate what you and Vanna are doing." Riley said. "I thank both of you. I need to thank Cameron too."

Jesse was very pleased by everything that Cameron did for other people and for her specifically.

"Cameron is always watching over all of us." Jesse said.

Riley couldn't help but stare at Jesse's nursing breasts. She'd touched and fondled them many times when Jesse and her shared previously. She also saw the way Derek looked at them and knew that he'd done the same thing previous to her.

"I apologize for Derek staring at you." Riley said.

Jesse really didn't see it as a big deal. Not only was that the way of the future but she'd shared intimately with both Riley and Derek previously. None of it was anything new for any of them.

"I was topless." Jesse said. "It's nothing we haven't all seen before and shared. I don't mind being seen. I actually like it. I do feel naked without my nipple rings but this experience and being able to do this and help is really something special."

Derek entered the room.

"Sorry, love, the show's over." Jesse said. "Between Riley, Vanna and me, you should get to see a lot. I guess the only downside to that for you is none of it's 'new' and it's all something that you've seen before."

Derek knew Jesse's words were true but that still didn't help the fact that he felt he'd been rude and intruded on Jesse's privacy.

"I'm sorry I was staring before." Derek said. "It was rude of me, especially when you're doing us a real solid."

Jesse didn't want Derek to feel that way. She didn't see any downside to any of this. If anything, it opened her eyes as to what she now believed she could become and do.

"Precious is a precious gift, Derek." Jesse said. "Being a part of this and actually being able to nurse makes me think about being a mother myself. I've always been afraid I would be a poor mother. The thought often terrified me."

Riley had been concerned about a lot of things from the future that she came from when she was in the past, which was now the present. Savannah worked with her and told her that the past was the past even if it was the future. It was only the new future that they would make that mattered.

"Why?" Riley asked. "It's because the things in the past are done, they're over with. We get to make our own futures now."

Jesse heard words like that from Savannah on multiple occasions. It took a long time for Savannah's words to reach her but they did. Cameron was also a big help in her life to move her life ahead.

"Savannah told me that as well." Jesse said. "We have long 'talks' sometimes. She can always make me feel like I matter and I am somebody. Cameron and Savannah have allowed me to find there's some value and worth inside of me. What I'm doing now for Precious gives a physical aspect to that."

Riley believed that Savannah was an inspiration to everyone. That included Terminators as well as humans.

"Savannah does that for everyone and even with the Terminators." Riley said. "Any Terminator that's around, stops being a Terminator when Savannah is around them. They almost become like 'real people'. It's really amazing to watch."

Jesse nodded her head in agreement.

"They say she's the 'Chosen One'." Jesse said. "I believe it."

Jesse thought about Savannah. There was so much love and caring there. She really wished she could be Young Jesse again. It made her think how special it must have been for both of them to share with each other as their first love experience. She really wanted Savannah's love but she wanted it for her younger self even more. There was one thing she wanted more than anything and that was for Young Jesse never to become her.

Now that she thought about Young Jesse, she knew that there was someone to help her. She looked at Precious and knew that Young Jessie could provide her with an infant. She'd already done it for one of her Duplicate selves 'in some future'.

Cameron, Cammy and Savannah departed in the SUV.

The shot up car with the two dead Syndicate men would be a mystery when it was found. Cameron and Cammy rolled the car over several times into the small ravine that was near the road. Both of the dead men were in the trunk. They'd taken their phones and looked for any trackers. It could be days to months until someone spotted the car. They would all be long gone by then. Once they were identified as Syndicate thugs by the authorities, the investigation into their deaths wouldn't go too far.

Savannah could see Cameron looked very determined and driven. She wanted to know if they came up with a new target.

"Do we have any specific targets?" Savannah asked.

Cameron hoped to employ one of the tactics that she'd used for the local gangs in their area. She liked to have them kill each other and then when it was time to move in, she only needed one group to worry about.

"No, but I want 'The Enforcer'." Cameron said. "I want to see if I can get the Grays that are left into a battle with the Syndicate at the casino."

Cammy wanted to get the Skynet forces separated from the Syndicate thugs.

"It will take away the Gray's funding." Cammy said. "It's possible they will be wiped out by the Syndicate if we can take 'The Enforcer' down."

Cameron knew that the Grays would be very vulnerable to the Syndicate thugs without any Terminator support.

"Without the 'Metal Bitch' the Grays are weak." Cameron said. "They need 'The Enforcer' to return."

There was an idea that Savannah kept thinking about. It could be a risky move if they tried it.

"I was thinking about that…." Savannah said.

Cameron wanted to know what Savannah's idea was.

"What's it about?" Cameron asked.

Savannah thought that they could gain an advantage at the Syndicate casino if they were able to play their cards right.

"It's about the 'Metal Bitch'." Savannah said. "They don't know what happened to her yet, only that she's missing."

Cameron wanted to hurt both the Grays and the Syndicate and it looked like Savannah was onto something.

"Yes." Cameron said. "Go on, I want to hear more."

Savannah wasn't exactly sure what the safest approach would be to her plan. She didn't want to inadvertently endanger anyone.

"You have her chip, well, our group does." Savannah said. "Can they pull parts of what she knows off of it without her being able to reactivate?"

Cameron used that procedure multiple times to obtain information. That was only if the chip didn't self destruct.

"Yes, I've done that before." Cameron said.

Savannah saw this as an opportunity to use a walking 'Trojan Horse' against The Syndicate casino.

"I think with a COPY of your spare chip or one of the other Metal girls and the information from her, 'you' or they could infiltrate their organization and really get the Grays and the Syndicate to fight." Savannah said. "If you can glean any inside information it would make the ruse work. There is also the possibility that 'you' would be identified as an imposter and terminated."

The unspoken part of that was that the chip could be extracted and information about the Resistance could then be used against them.

Cammy was willing to have her chip put into the 'Metal Bitch' right now if she was still here and infiltrate the Syndicate operation anyway. That wasn't going to happen. They did have everything at the Resistance base to do what Savannah asked for.

"We sent her away." Cammy said. "They will have everything they need at the base."

Savannah still thought things could happen in the time span of several hours to get everything taken care of and have the 'Metal Bitch' returned back to the Las Vegas area with the new programming.

"After John and John Henry are back where they belong, Bob and a couple of other Terminators could fly back with her. It's a short flight." Savannah said.

Cameron wanted to run with the idea. She would take any advantage they could get to help bring down the Grays along with as much of the Syndicate as she could take down as well.

"I'll have Cam get a chip ready." Cameron said. "It will take some time for her to get the information off safely. We could have her back here in a few hours."

Savannah wanted all of them to think it over and all of the implications that could occur if anything went wrong.

"It was just a thought." Savannah said. "We also run the risk of having her captured and the information gleaned from the chip about our operation."

Cameron planned to have Cam be very selective in what files of hers that she put on to the chip.

"It's a risk but I'll be able to get in close to their operation that way." Cameron said. "I'll only have some of my programming and files copied for the procedure."

Savannah looked at Cameron intently. She wanted to make one thing perfectly clear going forward.

"I don't want you to use your chip." Savannah said. "I don't want any more Skynet on it."

Cameron didn't want any more Skynet on her chip either.

"OK, Savannah." Cameron said. "It will be a copy."

She felt that she'd been a slave to Skynet long enough. She didn't want any more of the slave master on her chip ever again.

Where They Belong

Does everyone have a spot
Where others think they should be
Who makes that determination
Who is it that holds the key

No one is a victim of caste
That's a barrier in the mind
Break the mold and chains
See what one can actually find

No one's potential is limited
The restrains are self imposed
Many fall into line for others
They do what they think is supposed

Don't be held back needlessly
It's time to stand firm and break free
Cast off the yoke of self pity
The world is there to see

Don't get caught up in the throng
Bang a gone and sing a song
Stand up tall and stay strong
Never say it's 'where they belong'

Nobody
