Here is a one-shot I wrote in school today because I was bored and didn't feel like paying attention. It's about how I think a Jack and Elizabeth pairing would turn out. I'm not really a shipper for anything, kind of neutral.
If you review, you will get a gold star!
Disclaimer- I do not own POTC or any of the characters, only the story itself.
The ships worn hull bore steadily on, undaunted by the seas relentless valor. The crew hustled about, their seemingly random movements masking their constant routine, terribly simple and intricate.
How long had it been now? He wondered. A good two months ago at the start. Oh, it had been lovely. She had truly fallen for him, hadn't she. A wicked grin split the side of Sparrows face, hardly visible. Once Will had…left…Miss Swann was only too willing to give her entirety to the captain.
The time had winged by in a blur of rum, the sea, and sex. Ah, how Elizabeth had gone to him! He would never forget it. He was never lonely at night, his bed never left empty. She breathed words of love and eternity to him as they lay as one, but Jack only heard words of lust. He could vividly remember her soft skin brushing against his, the passion in her eyes as they slipped into oblivion together.
Jacks smirk faded, replaced with a confused frown. Everything had changed. Elizabeth began speaking of commitment and marriage…of…settling down. How foreign a word was this to the pirate captain, even though it was indeed two words? She began to seek land and would hang on Jack, keeping an eye on him.
Ah, yes, and soon she started falling asleep at night before Jack came to his cabin. Jack had longed for what they had, passionate sex and its seemingly endless supply. Truly a glorious thing, now gone. Whenever he tried to seduce her, she snapped at him angrily. A man can only take so much.
Tortuga. You can count on Tortuga to get what you want. It wasn't hard for the infamous captain to find a young lady more then willing to spend a night with him and never speak of it again. With a light shrug, Jack had to admit, it was nice for a change of scenery.
Then Elizabeth found out, and tears welled in her clueless, innocent eyes. She cried words of betrayal and false love and spiteful hate. It was too much for Jack to understand. Commitment? From him? He thought she was kidding. He was a pirate for gods sake, not some gentlemen waiting to take a wife.
Sparrow had been confused then, and told her. He could still see her eyes widening in shock and horror and she sobbed and beat at his chest with her soft hands. He looked around and pushed her away slightly and the broken woman sobbed harder, crying out sad tales of how they were going to marry and be happy and have children. This was just too much.
Jack ran his hand along the Pearls wheel absently, that grin coming back to his face. The wind picked up his dark hair softly and he closed his eyes, still picturing what he had finished, not a month ago.
"Pirate."
