Scrub Scrub Scrub Scrub.
Asterios stared at the wall in front of him as his club's members scrubbed away the remains of the Stray Devil from his body. There was apparently a 'shower' in the clubroom, and the first thing they had done when they arrived back was to lead him there.
"Tell me if I'm scrubbing too hard kay?" Yuuto was cleaning the bone shards from his left shoulder, usually he would just pick away at the largest ones and let his body heal over the small ones. Right now he was using a sponge to clear the finer shards, having plucked out the larger ones. He smiling "I'm surprised at how calmly you're taking this Asterios."
"used to it." He nodded his head, before it was pushed down as the one scrubbing his hair pushed "usually i just leave it alone."
Yuuto scrubbed away, before he grabbed a nozzle and sprayed his shoulder with water. It washed away the soap, as well as the dried blood around it.
"Still," Rias was watching from the entrance as her Knight and Rook scrubbed away at the Minotaur "I'd preferred if my club members didn't get this dirty." She remembered how they had to pick out the Stray's organs from his hair, and how his eyeball had ended behind his ear.
"sorry," He lowered his head, only for it to jerk back when Koneko lightly pulled on his horns as she tried to scrub away the blood from the top of his head.
"Don't move too much," she said as she lathered a copious amount of shampoo on his head.
"Frankly I'm impressed," Akeno was standing next to Rias. She eyed the, someone even more shirtless, Minotaur as they continued to wash him clean "I didn't even know you could get that filthy from one body."
"He did splatter him until there was nothing left," Yuuto sprayed his face, causing him to grunt in discomfort. He smiled apologetically "Sorry Asterios, just cleaning your face" the red washed away into the drain.
"Yuuto," Koneko called out to the blonde, she pointing at Asterios' head "I'm done here, spray it clean."
"You got it," He turned to the Minotaur "Close your eyes Asterios, you don't want to get soap in them."
"okay." Closing his eyes, he allowed the water to wash over him. It felt… nice.
After a few more rounds of scrubbing and rinsing, Asterios was clean of the any amounts of blood, bones, grey matter, and whatever else the Stray Devil was made of.
He sat there in the middle of the shower, soaking wet but squeaky clean. His white hair, usually unruly, lied straight and flat.
"Akeno," Rias called out.
"On it~" walking towards the Minotaur she held out a hand. A magic circle appeared on her palm and underneath Asterios. He looked down at the magic circle "I'm just gonna dry you off." She explained happily "Don't worry, it won't hurt. Though do tell me if it makes you hot and bothered."
Rias rolled her eyes with a smile.
[Scene]
"thank you for cleaning me president." Asterios' voice came from the ball of fluff that was his head.
Rias had to withhold a chuckle, it seemed Akeno's drying had turned his wild mane even wilder to the point that Asterios resembled less like a Minotaur and was part sheep instead.
Koneko was enjoying the extra floof however, seeing as shoulder perched Devil snuggled into it as she ate her snacks.
"It's not a problem Asterios," she replied "I wouldn't want to leave my club members in such a state after all. Although, seeing this I'll have to ask you to refrain from pulping any Stray Devils in the case you join us for future hunts." She watched his current form before looking at the exhausted forms of her Knight and Rook "Cleaning you took quite a lot of effort."
"My hands are tired." Yuuto smiled.
"I don't mind cleaning him." Koneko mumbled under her breath. It was, unfortunately, loud enough to be heard by her seniors.
She tried to disappear into the floof as they 'coo'd' at her confession.
"In any case it was also necessary since you're going to attend Kuoh tomorrow, and it wouldn't be fitting if you smelled of blood now would it?"
That drew Koneko out of the floof, and also made Asterios turn towards her.
"Yup," Rias nodded as she held up a stack of documents "I submitted a copy of all the necessary info needed. As of tomorrow, you're a student of Kuoh as well as an official member of the Occult Research Club."
Yuuto smiled widened "Welcome to our school Asterios, nice to have you here. If you have any problems with the lessons, you can always ask me."
Koneko looked up and nodded her head "Great to have you."
Akeno let out happy sigh "And thus we add another cute junior to our club."
Asterios looked around, blinking a couple of times before he shyly averted his eyes and blushed "t-thank you, for accepting me."
"Where's he staying?" Koneko asked.
Rias saw the look in her eyes, how they were shining and just begging for the answer she wanted. She sighed "He's staying with you."
The small girl said nothing except raise her arms in silent victory.
[Scene]
In the almost empty Occult Research Club, the other members having left for home already, Asterios stared at the ear-ring in his hand.
"Now Asterios, since you're going to be attending school with regular humans we need to hide some of your more distinct features. That's why Akeno and me made this ear-ring, it has a spell that'll help you fit in, and uh make you a little smaller."
"No offense, and I'm sure a lot of guys would like to hear this, but you're just a little too big. This spell will make you a little shorter, but you don't have to worry about becoming too short."
"Okay, I got my snacks, let's bounce." He was brought out of his thoughts when Koneko re-entered the room, a box of snacks in her hands.
She saw him sitting in silence looking at the ear-ring. Both Rias and Akeno were nice enough to make it match with the one that he was wearing at the moment. She looked up at him "Want help to put it on?"
He shook his head "no." He paused, before he continued "i want to know what i look like. president showed a picture, but i want to be sure."
Without another word, he brought it to his ear and clipped it on.
The magic took effect immediately. His horns glowed, before they broke away into motes of light leaving his head bare. Then his body glowed a mix of red and black, and it began to shrink. It seemed to struggle, his size compressing into his himself, until he was shorter.
He was still 7 feet tall, but he was no longer a literal giant. The glow around his body went away, and the more obvious scars on his body were gone as well. Then finally the glow around his head vanished.
There was no difference to his mane, it was still as wild and voluminous as before. But it was the eyes that had changed. No longer were they scarlet irises over a black sclera. Instead more 'normal' looking eyes stared back at Koneko, his sclera now a white with his eyes still the intense red.
"did it work?" Asterios asked.
She stared up at the new form of Asterios for a moment, before she shrugged "I liked your real form better. But its fine." Then the casual look on her face dropped "But are you sure you're okay with this Asterios?"
He looked at her and nodded "it is fine. it lets me join you at school, and that would make you happy?" She nodded slowly, which prompted him to continue "if it makes you happy, then i am happy as well."
She felt her face heat up at the words. Koneko grabbed a snack and threw it at him, a slight glare on her face "Charmer."
It bounced off his chest, earning a small "ow".
