A/N: Sorry for the long wait. Exams are a biiiiitch and a half. Especially assignment based exams. Might be too fast, but honestly I don't think timeline is the least of this fic's issues lol.

"burger…" Asterios said as he stared at the sandwich in his hands. He held it to his face, and opened his mouth and took more than half of it into his mouth.

"Careful not to choke," Koneko mumbled past her own burger in her mouth, the small girl swallowed her equally large bite before she drank the soda that was next to her.

The two of them were in a diner, sitting opposite of each other in a booth as they enjoyed an unhealthy breakfast. There were a couple of other people in the diner, plus the staff.

As the disguised Minotaur chewed his bite, he looked around him. A thought went through his head, moreso when he noticed Koneko giving a satisfied smile when she took another smaller bite of her burger.

When he swallowed his bite, he asked his question "koneko, is this a date?"

She looked up at him when he asked. The girl hummed a questioning tune as she picked up a fry and slowly munched down the length. She looked around her, before she nodded "Yeah, I think it is."

"oh," Asterios voice was muffled by the other half of the burger in his mouth. He swallowed, his large tongue peeking out of his mouth to lip the sauce of his lips, and looked at the small girl "are you having fun?"

She raised an eyebrow "You know, I'm supposed to ask you since I was the one that asked you out." She mentioned.

He let out a hum as he watched her take some of his fries "oh… well i think I'm having fun."

She smirked "I'm glad that you think so Asterios," the smirk dropped as an annoyed look came across her face "Though I'm pretty sure we'd have more fun if we didn't have to babysit a stupid pervert."

Sitting directly at the next booth, with his back facing hers, Issei tried to keep a happy look on his face. Though that didn't stop the annoyed vein from propping on his forehead.

"I can hear you, you know." He tried to keep his voice from sounding too angry, especially since Asia was sitting in front of him as she enjoyed her own burger. She was taking considerably smaller bites than Asterios, so it took her some time to chew through it.

"Doesn't change my point," she replied back, offering her half-eaten fry to Asterios, who received it with a quiet thank you and popped it in his mouth.

"If it annoys you that much, you can leave" Issei spoke, before turning his attention back to Asia "I'm trying to give Asia a fun time by eating out."

"Can't actually," Koneko nodded when Asterios offered his drink in exchange for her fry "President's orders to keep you safe since you keep getting into trouble." She noisily slurped the drink, seemingly to ignore the annoyed grumble, only to pause as she looked down at the drink. She smacked her lips at the taste of chocolate milk instead of soda that she was expecting. She shrugged and drank more than half of it.

Issei let out a sigh "And you were the only one that happened to be picked?"

"Mmhm" Koneko shook her head, and pointed out of the window.

Issei and Asia looked out to see Yuuto standing outside, surrounding by a group of pretty girls, who waved at them when he noticed that them.

"She also sent Yuuto just in case," Koneko swallowed the drink and handed it back to Asterios "Asterios is here because I wanted him to eat out."

"Fair enough," he looked at his own date. Asia had a smile on her face, one that was made cuter with the small amount of ketchup on his face. He went to wipe it off with a napkin.

Asterios looked out the window to wave at Yuuto, he went for the nuggets next "so, when are we going to…" he paused before he was about to say 'attack'.

Koneko smiled at his discretion, and looked around for a moment. Her eyes didn't catch sight of any of the Fallen Angels that the 'Mittelt' has said was part of Raynare's group, and leaned forward "President said that it might be tonight."

"hmm," he nodded his head.

"She said that it would be earlier, but she said she wanted you to prepare what you said you could do to keep them from running." She told him. There was pause, before Koneko narrowed her eyes "You do have a trick for it right?"

"yes."

[Scene]

"You can keep them from leaving the church?" Rias was surprised to hear Asterios speak up.

Rias, Akeno, and Mittelt had been discussing about Raynare and her group of Rogue Exorcists and Rogue Fallen Angels, and the topic of them approaching their base.

Oddly enough, it was the church that was nearby to where he and Koneko had found Mittlelt.

Akeno brought up the possibility of Raynare just flying away and running when they arrived, and even with Mittelt saying that she wouldn't just abandon the blonde nun because she was important for her goals, Rias countered by saying that she had abandoned Issei quick enough.

Asterios figured that it was good that Issei was still unconscious and being tended to by the Asia girl, when she had said those words.

It was at that point Asterios had offered to keep them there.

"yeah," he nodded his head "i can go there right now and keep them from leaving the church entirely."

"You didn't say that you had powers like that," Koneko pouted beside him, before she crossed her arms "Or are you just gonna cave in the church and trap them in the rubble."

His eyes widened as he looked at her "that is… also an option."

"I want you to cause less property destruction Asterios, not more." Rias cut in, before he could think more about the thought "But I am interested in this other method that you have to keep them from running away. But not today," she turned her gaze to the unconscious Issei, the tired Yuuto, and the clothing damaged Koneko "We need to rest." Her eyes then flicked back to the Fallen Angel who flinched "And to find out any more info that we can get."

[Scene]

"so tonight then…"

He felt a small hand grip his large one, he saw Koneko staring at him from across the table with a serious look "Are you sure you have something?"

'Do you want to do this?'

Asterios nodded "i'm sure."

"Sweet," With her hand ontop of his, the white haired girl grabbed the other nugget that was in the palm of his hands and threw it in her mouth "Maybe after this, we won't have to babysit the stupid pervert anymore."

"I'm still here!"

[Scene]

"C'mon pick up the slack you worthless pieces of shit!"

More than a few of the Exorcists grumbled out cursed words, but none of them dared to raise a voice higher.

Raynare was livid, pissed off, angry beyond all hell.

Because of a fuck up of an Exorcist, one that she had thoroughly disciplined upstairs, she was now without a Sacred Gear user to extract.

Not to mention, Mittelt was just gone now. She didn't know if she had teleported somewhere else and got vaporised by the Devils, all that was left of her group was just her and the group of Rogue Exorcist that she was leading.

That Twilight Healing brat was her one way ticket to being an actual asset to her organisation, and now it was in Devil hands. She doubted she could play of 'Azazel Orders' if she were to suddenly storm… wherever the Devils base was.

All that was left now, was to pack up the Sacred Gear Extractor and get out of town before anything else could go wrong.

It took a whole day, to uninstall the equipment and by the time it was ready to move again it was already the night time.

Just as they lifted the device and were about to lug it out of the church.

"Hey, who the FUCK are you?!"

Raynare's head snapped up to the sound of a Freed's muffled voice cursing loud enough that she could hear him in the basement.

She heard another muffled noise, and Raynare's eyes widened as she suddenly felt the entire church shake.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckfuckfuck!"

She turned to look at the ones who were carrying the Sacred Gear Extractor, the look in her eyes telling them that if the just drop it, she'll kill them on the spot.

When she saw them lower it gingerly, she turned to the basement stairs and summoned her Light Spear. She sprinted up the steps, she could hear the Exorcists behind her try to quickly follow after her.

She kicked the door open, knocking aside the cupboard she had used to hide the entrance, and nearly stumbled back when Freed backed into her. She saw him look at her in shock, before he grinned and opened his mouth.

She tossed him aside before he could annoy her further. Her eyes snapped at the sight of the…

Devils.

The Gremory brat was there, with that black haired friend of hers. There were others as well. She saw a small girl with white hair, a blonde handsome pretty boy.

Oh how quaint, Issei was here as well. He was looking at her with tears in his eyes like a little baby.

Her blood pressure spiked when she saw Mittelt standing at the side, with a grin on her stupid face.

She was tempted to call her out.

But her words died in her throat when she saw the final addition to the group.

And she could feel the magical power brimming off from him.

Her wings spread open, her only thoughts were to run.

She saw those red eyes widen a fraction at her actions, the monster that they belonged to opened his mouth.

"Wander, Lost, and Die."

She could see the space around her shift and twist at those words.

"Chaos Labyrinth!"

There were no magical circles, there were no chant, no pre-requisite spells.

One moment she was in the church, about to fly through the windows to her safety.

The next moment everything around her was plunged into darkness, around her were walls that caged her in from every direction, barely any source of light besides the torches that were placed on the far ends of the walls.

And then there was the sickening smell of death in the air.

Raynare's wings faltered and the Fallen Angel fell on her butt.

"What the…"

Oh, just her luck it seemed that Freed was here as well.

"What is this?!"

"Where am I?!"

"A spell, how did none of us notice."

And judging from the sound of it, so were the other Exorcists that were in the church with her.

She tried to keep a clear mind, but she could feel the heavy atmosphere in the air around her. She lifted her head, and at the end of the hallway that she was in, she saw the Devils and the Monster responsible for it.

She gulped.

[Scene]

Koneko's eyes darted from left to right as she tried to keep her breathing calm. Her chest rose and fell rapidly as her heart filled with terror.

The darkness around her didn't effect her at the slightest, being a Devil and all. But it wasn't the dark corridors, or the tight spaces that made her feel this kind of panic.

No it was… the other part of her.

She could… feel it.

The pain, the suffering, the death around her that was thick enough that even those that didn't have the ability to sense it, could taste it on their tongues.

And for her.

She took a step back, and felt her own feet trip her up.

Asterios' arm was there to stop her from falling, Rias was there was catch her entirely. Akeno and Yuuto, stood in front of her to hide her away from the Fallen Angel that could've seen her moment of weakness.

"koneko?"

She shut her eyes tight as she tried to fight back the feeling in her throat, that she wanted to vomit. It took her a moment, before she opened her eyes and asked "What is this?"

Asterios looked at her for a moment, and reached out with another hand to touch the wall closest to him.

His eyes were distant as he answered.

"Home."
