A/N: Back to Fluff!
Asterios took a deep breath, before he blew out into the party blower in his mouth.
It made a sound as the paper unfurled, before it got louder when the paper flew off from the force of the Minotaur's exhalation.
Eventually the sound died down, and Asterios looked at the blonde girl standing by the table filled with treats and spoke "welcome to the club asia."
The blonde girl let out a smile and giggled "Thank you Asterios, for the welcome and the advice of where to sleep in the clubroom."
"I can't believe you were sleeping in the club house before you moved in with Toujou-chan" Issei spoke out as he ate the cake that they set out to celebrate Asia joining the club and the Gremory peerage as well. His eyes flicked towards the smaller girl that was on the Minotaur's lap "I would've thought she'd just force you to join."
"We didn't have that disguise for him yet," Kiba answered as he enjoyed a slice of cake "So he kinda stayed here for a while."
Asterios let out a hum of agreement, which made the party blower in his mouth squeak a bit.
"It's good thing we made that disguise as well," Akeno smiled as she leaned over the backrest of the sofa next to Asterios' chair "Apparently rumours were starting circulate about a Devil being in the clubhouse."
"And we obviously couldn't have that," Rias smiled from her spot in the room.
Akeno then leaned in closer to give a sly smile to Koneko "Well that and our little Koneko was getting restless without her big strong Minotaur with her."
"Shut it." Koneko shoved a fork with a piece of cake on it towards the vice-president, who simply ate it in one bite.
"Thanks!"
Asterios turned to Rias and asked, every syllable causing the party blower in his mouth to squeak "is asia to stay in the club-" Asterios' question was interrupted when Koneko pulled the party blower from his mouth. He looked down at her for a moment, but continued "is she just going to stay here agan?"
"Of course not," Rias waved her hand "I just needed some time to get the proper documents for the school and her residence."
Akeno leaned in, making sure to keep her mouth covered from Issei "She's just making excuses so that Asia gets to stay with Issei."
"Is that safe for her?" Koneko questioned.
"Oh I'm sure Issei wouldn't attack her," Akeno giggled "Or he might, who knows?"
Asterios pouted "i don't think issei would hurt her."
The two girls looked at each other, one of them pouting while the other was smirking in amusement.
"Well enough talk," Akeno stood up straight "We still have to celebrate Asia joining the Peerage!"
Issei blinked "Hey I just realised," He looked around "We never had a celebration when I joined!"
"Huzzah." Koneko said in response, blowing into the party blower in her hands.
[Scene]
"Take a right here, and we'll reach the house." Koneko pointed at another turn.
The Devil rested her chin on Asterios' head as the Minotaur, still in disguise, carried her to her destination. She had opted to ride both of his shoulders instead of just his right one.
It wasn't really for any reason, Koneko just felt that having Asterios staying at clubhouse every night was kind of sad. Well, that and she didn't want him to join Issei on another one of his contracts.
"are you sure your," he paused as his face scrunched up "cuh-lie-ent, is fine with you arriving like this?"
Koneko shrugged "Eh, probably not." She took out the flier in her pocket "But since I just have one today, might as well just take it slow."
"ok."
And true to her words, when they arrived at the house, coincidentally being the same house that Issei had gone to cover for Koneko, the man was reluctantly to let them in.
Well Asterios at least, especially since he wanted to spend time with the Devil rather than him. He even defended himself by saying that, last time, he only accepted Issei inside as well.
In the end Koneko, reluctantly, had Asterios wait outside.
He didn't really mind to be honest as he was just happy to follow her, and simply sat on the road as he waited for his friend to finish her job.
Asterios eyes looked around, and enjoyed the sights around him. The darkness of the night was different from the Labyrinth's, he could look up and see stars, he could look around and not just see towering walls that reminded him of his prison.
And most importantly, whenever he saw something walking around it wasn't either a future victim because of his hunger, or a dangerous beast that somehow kept finding themselves stuck in the maze.
Such as the rather curious black cat that sat on top of a wall just across the road.
His eyes light up as the feline tilted its head, staring at him with its yellow eyes. When it kept staring, he held out a hand towards it.
It just tiled its head the other direction, before it simply jumped off from the wall and then walked away.
"aww…" He let out a disappointed sound.
"What wrong?" Koneko spoke as she stepped out of the house, the white haired Devil had two lollipops. One was already in her mouth, while she offered the second one to the Minotaur in disguise.
"a cat ran away…" He muttered as he took the candy and, having not used to seeing this type, simply popped the whole thing in his mouth.
Koneko blinked at the act, but she just shrugged "I can show you Shiro at home again if you want."
His eyes widened slightly, and nodded "okay." He looked over his shoulder at the house "how was the contract?"
"The usual." She shrugged nonchalantly, before she walked closer and casually leaped onto his right shoulder "Back to the clubhouse Asterios."
The Minotaur let out a grunt as they two of them left the premises.
[Scene]
"Koneko, your client yesterday complained about you not putting it all when you carried him." Rias mentioned as the rest of the club members waited for their evaluation.
"That sucks." Koneko spoke with disinterest.
Rias raised an eyebrow but shrugged "Besides that, he said everything was fine. But he did add a special request to 'Not bring that huge guy again, the dude scares me'".
"Ugh," Koneko rolled her eyes and leaned back into Asterios chair "I'll Asterios when he gets back from Track practice."
