A/N: If you're wondering why this is late, I redownloaded Warframe and it was both a great idea and horrible one. I never knew how much I'd like just mindlessly farm until I got that game. Anyways, more fun moments until I write the fight scenes.

"AWW YEAAAH!"

Rias couldn't help but smile at the excitement of her Pawn as he jumped for joy at the news.

Issei held up his fist towards the Minotaur with an absolutely ecstatic grin on his face "With you on our team, there's no way we're losing that Rating Game!"

That grin remained even as Asterios' giant hand punched the much smaller fist, breaking it just as before.

As Asia quickly ran over to heal the injured hand, Rias turned towards Akeno slightly annoyed "You could have at least talked with me about this."

"To be fair," Akeno shrugged "It came up on the spot when I ran into Koneko and Asterios yesterday, so I couldn't really discuss it with you beforehand."

"Fair enough I guess," She gestured at the two with her head "But what about them, how did they feel about it when it came up?"

"Asterios was all for it," Akeno smiled "All I did was say that a Familiar could join the Rating Game, and he said that he's willing to since it'll help you."

"Remind me to thank him later," Rias sighed "Probably felt guilty that he couldn't join by just becoming a Peerage member." Rias changed topic "And what about Koneko, how did she feel about it?"

"Hesistant." Akeno stated simply.

"Not too shocking," Rias saw how Koneko was talking with Yuuto and Asterios "One could wonder how it feels to turn your own boyfriend into your Familiar." The redhead then turned to her friend "Although, I'm surprised you didn't try to snatch him up."

"My my Rias," Akeno giggled "What kind of person do you take me for?"

"A sadist." Rias' reply was curt.

"Fair enough," Akeno shrugged in response "And for your information I wasn't given the chance, Asterios said that he wanted to be his Master, even said outright that he liked her."

"Oof," Rias placed a hand on her shoulder "My condolences."

"What can you do?" Akeno seemed unbothered "Besides, all that matters is that Asterios can join us for the upcoming fight."

Rias raised an eyebrow at the casual dismissal, but she let it passed. Her attention turned back to the Minotaur, who had summoned his axes and gave one of them to Koneko and one of them to Issei. The former looked rather silly holding it, due to it being more than four times her size. The latter couldn't even pick up from the ground.

Yuuto himself was looking over the edge of the axe that Koneko could carry, ducking as it swung over his head from smallest of movement from the Rook.

"Yeah, I basically have another Rook" Rias stated as she Issei's Boosted Gear power up at least three times before he managed to lift it off the ground "Even if it's just one extra 'piece', I'm thankful to have more help for the upcoming fight."

Another two Boost and Rias felt impressed when she saw Issei managed to lift the gigantic axe above knee height. The redhead felt her smile grow on her face.

Akeno giggled "If you're that thankful for some extra muscle, then I suppose I should keep the other help a surprise." The Queen walked away from her friend to join the group.

Rias blinked, before she let out an annoyed sigh "I swear Akeno, if you suddenly end up summoning a Gorgon I'm gonna have words with you!"

[Scene]

The rest of the training week passed by without any issue.

And after the ten days have passed, the Rating Game was upon them.

"You ready to kick some ass Asterios?" Koneko asked ontop his shoulder as they made their way towards the Old Building.

"hmm hmm." Asterios nodded with a determined look in his eyes "i am ready to 'kick ass' koneko."

The white haired devil could only smirk.

Entering the clubhouse, everyone else was already there, looking simultaneously nervous and determined.

"Hey Asterios," Yuuto greeted with his usual charming smile "Had any issues on the way here?"

The Minotaur picked up the Devil on his shoulder and set her down on a chair, next he grabbed the pair of gloves that she had placed on his horns and dropped it into her hands. He turned to the Knight and shook his head "no problem."

"He's ready to kick some chicken ass," Koneko grabbed the gloves and tugged them onto her hands "And so am I."

"Hell yeah," Issei cheered "We're gonna teach that dick a lesson!"

"I've never seen Asterios fight," Asia mumbled out as she stared at the still rather intimidating figure of the Minotaur "But I wish you luck in whatever fight you get in!"

Asterios gave a small nod.

At her desk, Rias couldn't help but feel some of the tension leave her body. The tea in her hands was certainly helping matters. She kept her cool as she sipped more of the delicious drink as she waited for the Rating Game to start.

The door to the clubroom opened, to Rias' slight surprise.

Asterios turned to the door, and gave a wave as Sona and Tsubaki entered the room "hello other president, other vice president."

Rias felt her lips quirk up a bit in a smirk when she saw the annoyed look on Sona's face. But she stopped herself from smiling too much "it's good to have you here Sona."

"It is your first Rating Game Rias," Sona stated "Even if I wasn't the one in charge of the broadcast, I wouldn't miss such an event."

"Wow, we're doing this live on like Devil television?" Issei asked.

"Indeed," Rias nodded "Rating Games are often broadcasted, moreso one with outcomes such as this one. Hope none of you are too camera shy."

Her words were interrupted when the room came alight with bright white glow, a white magical circle at the end of the room appearing out of nowhere. The next moment, Grayfia appeared.

The gray haired Devil looked just as calm and composed the last time she was in the room. Even with the full form of Asterios glaring at her from his chair.

Rias sighed as she stood up "I guess the match is ready then?" She nodded her head towards Sona "I'll be seeing you after the match then Sona, try to keep the play by play fair."

"I intend to," Sona adjusted her glasses "And Rias?"

The red head raised an eyebrow.

"Make sure you give Riser and his Peerage the beating he deserves."

Rias smiled at her words.

Sona turned her eyes to Asterios "Well Minos-san, would you like to join us in the Student Council room? You'll be able to watch the match there."

"it's fine, other president," Asterios shook his head "i'll stay here."

Sona looked surprised at first, but she nodded her head "If you insist, if you ever want to watch you're invited to enter the Student Council room."

"thank you other president." Asterios nodded his thanks.

Sona turned around "Come Tsubaki, let's head out."

Grayfia watched as the two other schoolgirls left the room, before turning to face Rias. "The Rating Game is about to start," She gestured at the magic circle that she had appeared in "Please step inside to enter the arena."

The red head stood up and moved away from her desk "Well then, let's be off."

Issei leaned towards the others and whispered "Hey just a question, where will we be going for this Rating Game?"

"It's pretty much an alternate dimension," Akeno answered "They make it specifically for Rating Games so that gives us free roam to just go wild and wreck as much as we can."

Issei felt just a bit nervous at the words, moreso when he heard a grunt from Asterios.

"Before we go, I do have to inform you that Lord Sirzechs will be watching this Rating Game." Grayfia said to Rias.

"I see," Rias couldn't keep the annoyance out of her voice "Brother dearest is also watching, hopefully he and the rest of the family get to watch something nice."

When Koneko hopped up, she turned to him and nodded "See ya soon."

Asterios returned the nod.

[Scene]

When Rias' peerage walked towards the Magic Circle, all of them vanished in a bright red glow. Grayfia had stayed for a moment to stare at the Minotaur that remained, but when neither of them said a word to each other the maid left.

Asterios sat alone in the Club Room for a while, before the door opened once again.

Walking into the room was a rather meek looking Gasper, the small Devil looked around the room to confirm that the only person inside was Asterios and no one else.

"hello gasper," Asterios greeted and patted the now empty couches "no one is here for now."

"Di-Did Rias already leave for her Rating Game?" Gasper asked as he walked into the room, his eyes landed on the floor where the Magic Circle that had been. He shifted in place guiltily "I didn't even get to wish her good luck…"

He walked over and took a seat just next to the Minotaur.

"that's fine gasper," the giant hand patted his tiny head, the Devil sinking into the couch every time the hand came into contact with his head "i know that you don't talking to too many people."

Gasper shook his head after the Minotaur finished petting it, and turned towards him "What about you Asterios, aren't you going to watch the fight?"

Asterios shook his head "no, i'm going to join them in a moment."

"Huh?!" Gasper looked at him confused, his red eyes looking him up and down for a moment before he stared at him with an absolutely baffled expression on his face "But… you aren't a Devil!"

"no," Asterios shook his head "but i'm koneko's familiar now, and that would let me join."

Gasper couldn't help but look at him in surprise but he looked away ashamed "You so brave that you can do that Asterios," the small Devil brought his legs up to his chest and hugged them "I can't even leave my room if there are too many people. Some Servant I am, I can't even bring myself to help Rias with this."

"it's fine to be scared gasper," Asterios opened his mouth, paused, before he moved his fingers to his cheeks and pushed it to make a smile "until koneko and the others accepted me, I was scared of going outside as well."

The Minotaur suddenly raise his head "koneko is calling me."

"Um Asterios!" Gasper called out towards him, standing up. He paused a bit as when those red eyes landed on his pink one "J-Just, tell Rias I said good luck!"

"i will."

And with those words, Asterios vanished in a magic circle.

[Scene]

When the light cleared from his eyes, Asterios found himself…

Still in the Occult Research Clubroom, except with the rest of the club members instead of it just being him and Gasper.

Despite that, the Minotaur could feel it in the air that something was different.

"Hey, glad to see you made it." Koneko was standing in front of him, smiling with her right hand held out.

Asterios wanted to nod, but felt the weight on his head. A moment later, Shiro popped out from his mane and let loose a tiny 'mew'.

"Welcome to the Rating Game Asterios," Rias greeted him as she gestured around him "Don't be alarmed by your location, this place is merely a full scale replica of our school."

Issei let loose a small chuckle "It kinda spooked me at first, but I got over it when I realised it's something like that maze of yours." He pointed at the window that he was beside "You can even see that the sky is all weird!"

"it does feel different." Asterios nodded. The Minotaur then turned to move towards the door.

"Hey where you going?" Koneko asked.

"To kill Riser," Asterios growled "If I do, we will win correct?"

Rias giggled and shook her head "While I am interested in seeing if you can handle his whole Peerage and him by yourself, this is still a Rating Game." She gestured to the rest of the club members "So we do this as a team."

"Yeah dummy," Koneko punched him slightly in the thigh "You don't just go out alone. We fight together."

Asterios couldn't hide the blush on his face as he turned away from the door. As he did, he looked at Rias and nodded "by the way president, gasper wishes you good luck."

"That's the other Devil that lives in the club basement right?" Issei asked, getting a surprised nod from Akeno.

Rias looked surprised, before another smile appeared on her face "If even he's willing to leave his room, then this match is truly blessed then." The red head face turned serious once more "Very well then, Gremory Peerage let's show Riser just what we're capable of!"
