Gamelover41592: That is completely understandable. I was hoping for it to be something of a surprise anyways.
Matt (Guest): I wouldn't really call it a crush, but the Plasm Wraith clearly cared for him in some form. And as for Louie siding with Mal…there was a time I might have agreed with you, but I don't think he was outright evil, moreso just driven insane by his hunger.
Yes, I am aware this is a day late. I was busy yesterday. But this is a shorter one anyways. Same drill as always, here are some fun facts and what could have beens relating to the story.
-I touched upon this in an earlier chapter, but I played with where exactly Brick was going to wake up a lot. I decided on having him end up with Alph mostly because I wanted him active the whole story.
-Originally, Alph and Brittany were going to already know Charlie from college and be Brick's honorary aunt and uncle. However, Charlie is implied to be much older than both of them, so them being college buddies wouldn't really make sense
-Alph and Brittany were actually going to hook up in the middle of the story, but I realized that it would take focus away from exploring the planet. So it was changed to what you saw last chapter.
-All of the fruit roundups were going to their own chapter, but I realized that those would be extremely boring. Hence me deciding to mix them into one large chapter instead.
-Mal wasn't actually going to take anything from this world at first. Then I realized that he would totally want the big scary monsters that dwell on the planet as pets/minions.
-Like I said, I actually considered making this story be the one that shared a universe with another (in this case, Owen's). But Duncan and Dawn worked much better, so this became it's own standalone.
-Brittany has not forgiven Louie and still rants about him (Alph thinks it's kinda hot. Charlie and Brick are concerned)
-Everyone's favorite Pikmin types are as follows.
Alph likes the blue ones
Brick likes the red ones
Brittany likes the wings
Finally, Charlie likes the rocks.
-I debated as to where exactly Brick was going to get his memories back for a while. I decided that since I didn't really have anyone get their memories back via blunt force trauma, I'd go with that and since the Mireclops is my favorite boss, it wasn't hard to narrow it down.
And with that, we wrap up yet another story. Join us next time as we see how Sky is handling herself in Skylands!
