Here we are with Chapter 5. I'll be focusing on putting out the next chapter of Restrictive after this, but it's nearly done anyway. Since this fic is so easy to write for, I think I'll start putting out a few chapters of this in between every upload of Restrictive, since it doesn't really affect my writing process for that fic.

I changed the timeline a bit, so instead of the promotion exams taking place three weeks after the school year begins, it'll be a month and a half in.

As always, let me know where I fucked up, unless it's some stupid opinionated shit.

Shit. You know, maybe bringing the one deck I owned that didn't have any spirits in it wasn't the best idea. If this weren't a world where respecting your cards lets you manipulate causality, then I wouldn't be worried at all right now.

As far as decks go, even Jasmine had an objectively better build than Alexis did. The difference between the two was that Alexis was far more in tune with her deck than Jasmine was.

Alexis' deck was a reflection of herself in many ways; cool, graceful, but with an edge that her monsters reflect perfectly. Jasmine's deck, although respected and cherished by the girl, is pretty much a placeholder for the Harpie deck she hopes to build someday.

The Heart of The Cards would favor Alexis over Jasmine 9 times out of 10, which is why Alexis is the better duelist between the two. In this world, building your deck around what fits you best is the meta strategy, because it works.

It's why there are entire martial arts-style schools dedicated to a single deck type, because on top of needing to learn how to use their cards, duelists go there to learn how to play them.

It's something I've learned over the past few months since I've reincarnated. Some of the worst duelists I've ever seen used pretty good decks, all things considered, certainly better than some of their more successful counterparts, but their cards just refuse to respond to them, knowing damn well that the people using them only see them as a means to an end.

That Tarzan guy from Season 1 is proof of this. His draws were so bad that he went out into the wild with nothing but his deck, trained for months with nothing but his cards to keep him company, constantly practicing his draws, and when his training was complete?

He had bonded with his deck, and thanks to that bond, he was able to draw the exact card he wanted with pin-point accuracy, at least until he ran into someone that had an even stronger bond with their cards.

Jaden Yuki.

I'm not challenging that fucker to a duel without my most powerful spirit decks, because his bullshit transcends even mine, for now at least. That leaves me with my Poker Knights, Great Moth, and Skill Drain decks, thanks to the powerful spirits within them, along with… Well, it's best not to talk about that last one, lest I wake the lazy fucker up by thinking about him, and he wouldn't leave me alone until I used his deck.

"If you wanted to spend more time with me, you could have just asked, you know?" I teased Alexis, who smirked back at me.

"And miss the opportunity to school you in front of your adoring audience? As if, Yuji." Alexis taunted right back.

"The duel hasn't even started, and our competitors are already going for direct attacks!" Disa cheered into the mic, doing her best to stoke the crowd while Masha played camerawoman.

"It's time for the dice roll, folks!" Disa announced, and that was our cue.

Alexus and I activated the solid vision dice roll on our duel disks, I rolled a 2, while Alexis rolled a 5, letting her choose the turn order.

"I think I'll let you go first." Alexis smiled, "Wouldn't want you to get any ideas about OTK'ing me."

"So you think I'd OTK you, is that it? I'm touched by your faith in me, you know that? DRAW!" My starting hand was pretty good, but not ideal for a first turn start. In fact this deck wasn't even built to go first.

"I noticed you're at your best when you're breaking other people's boards," Alexis began. "You tear their fields down, while setting yourself up with a bunch of powerful monsters, but I wonder how good you are when you're building your defenses, rather than taking them down."

Damn, leave it to Alexis to find my one weak spot. I can handle going first, no problem, but there's no denying the fact that I'm simply better at full assault strategies than I am at building a board and shoring up my defenses.

Still, I wasn't exactly defenseless, as I was about to prove.

"I summon Max Warrior in attack mode!" A menacing Warrior monster wielding a spiked bident appeared on my field, its red eyes glowering at Alexis, it's 1800 ATK points should protect me from whatever Alexis summons, unless she goes straight into Cyber Blader.

"I'll set two cards, and end my turn. Your move." I ended.

"Not bad, I've seen better though. I draw!" Alexis took a look at her cards, smiling as she began to make her move.

"I summon Cyber Tutu in attack mode." Alexis announced as the cute ballerina twirled her way onto the field, tight bodysuit and all.

Damn, maybe I should build a Cyber Dancer deck.

"Next, I'll equip her with Angel Wing!" Cyber Tutu grew shining white wings, and began hovering in the air.

"If all of your monsters have higher ATK than Cyber Tutu, she can attack you directly. GO Cyber Tutu!" The ballerina spun into the air, unfurling her wings before flying right at me, landing a kick right to my chest.

Alexis: 4000
Yuji: 3000

I honestly forgot what it felt like to take damage. It was like a phantom pain if I had to describe it.

"Angel Wing's effect activates! When the equipped monster deals damage, you take an additional 300 points of damage!" Alexis disclosed.

Cyber Tutu's wings began to fire sharp feathers at me like she was Angel from the X-Men or something.

Alexis: 4000
Yuji: 2700

"Yuji just took more damage in one turn than he's taken in… Ever! No one's even been able to touch his life points since his first match against Jasmine Makurada in fact! Could this mark the beginning of the end for our King?!"

The crows loved it. Disa was one hell of a show-runner, I'll give her that, even if she's hyping the crowd up at my expense.

"I set one card face down, and end my turn." Alexis ended, completely ignoring everything outside of our duel.

"My move!" I drew, getting exactly what I needed.

"I activate Mystical Space Typhoon, and use it to destroy my face down!"

"Your own card?" Alexis sputtered, confused.

"Has Yuji lost his mind? He's going for his own cards now?"

"The card I destroyed was Limiter Overload, which lets me Special Summon a Speed Warrior from my hand, deck, or graveyard when it's destroyed." I revealed.

"Straight from my deck, come on out, SPEED WARRIOR!" I exulted.

Speed Warrior came out in a gust of wind, posted up and ready to rumble.

Speed Warrior

Level 2

WIND, Warrior

900 ATK / 400 DEF

"All that for such a weak monster?"

"Maybe he's going to tribute it?"

"Rengoku uses trash cards like Speed Warrior?"

"Doesn't Yuji own like, 7 decks with super powerful monsters in them? Why would he bring out a useless card like that?"

"The crowd's a bit confused, and frankly, so am I. By this point in the duel, Yuji usually has out multiple high level monsters, but instead, he brought out a card like Speed Warrior!"

"He might not look like much, but Speed Warrior is the ace of this deck!" I proclaimed, drawing confused stares, and a fair share of laughter.

Alexis was wary at this point, and rightfully so.

"I summon Fortress Warrior, in attack mode!" A warrior made of concrete with four legs, came out of the ground, holding up a helicopter landing pad.

Fortress Warrior

Level 2

EARTH, Warrior

600 ATK / 1200 DEF

"I have no clue what Yuji thinks he's doing, but for his sake, I hope it pays off!"

"I activate Rising Energy! By discarding a card, I can increase the ATK points of one monster on my side of the field by 1500 until the end of this turn! I target Speed Warrior!" A red aura surrounded Speed Warrior and he basked in his newfound power.

"The card I just discarded was Sonic Warrior, and when he's sent to the graveyard, all level 2 or lower monsters on my side of the field gain 500 ATK points!" Speed warrior was buffed even further, now at a beefy 2900 ATK points. Fortress Warrior was also empowered, hitting 1100 ATK.

"I activate Speed Warrior's effect! During the battle phase of the turn he was summoned, I can double his ATK points!" Alexis went from wariness to outright panic at that.

"Yuji just turned a level 2 monster into a beast that can even outbox the legendary Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! Is he great, or what?" I totally am Disa, thanks for pointing it out.

Speed Warrior had 5800 ATK points now, and if all went well, I'd be able to take this game, right here and now.

"Speed Warrior, attack Cyber Tutu! Sonic Edge!" Speed Warrior raced over to Cyber Tutu, before going into a handstand and hitting her with a Spinning Bird Kick.

"I'll activate a trap card of my own! Spirit Barrier!" Alexis countered. "So long as I control a monster, I take no battle damage!"

"Either way, Cyber Tutu goes bye-bye, and now Max Warrior has a direct path to your life points! Fortress Warrior and Max Warrior, attack her directly! When Max Warrior attacks, he gains 400 ATK points until the end of the damage step!" Max Warrior jumped at Alexis, slamming into her with his bident.

"When Angel Wing is sent to the graveyard, I get to draw one card!" Alexis stated, drawing her card.

Yuji: 2700
Alexis: 700

"Yuji dealt over 3000 points of damage to the Queen of Obelisk blue in a single turn! All thanks to a level 2 monster no less!" Disa exclaimed.

"Now that the battle phase is over, Speed Warriors ATK returns to normal." Speed Warrior powered down, going back to 2900 ATK.

"I'll set a card, and pass it over to you." Rising Energy wore off, leaving Speed Warrior with only 1400 ATK points.

Alexis drew her card, and smiled a smile that set off alarm bells in my head.

"I activate Polymerization!" Shit. "I fuse Blade Skater and Etoile Cyber to Fusion Summon Cyber Blader!" Cyber Blader confirmed it for me, I definitely need to get my hands on some Cyber Dancer cards. Having a bunch of sexy gymnasts at your beck and call is every guy's dream, and I wanted to live it.

"Cyber Blader, attack Fortress Warrior!" Alexis commanded. Cyber Blader skated her way across the field, aiming right for Fortress Warrior, but that was perfect for me.

"Fortress Warrior's effect prevents him from being destroyed by battle, and I don't take damage from battles involving him either!" Fortress Warrior held his helipad in front of him like a shield, but Cyber Blader kicked right through it, destroying the concrete warrior.

Yuji: 1700
Alexis: 700

"Cyber Blader's effect negates all of your cards when you control three monsters." Alexis smugly revealed.

That's right! I forgot Cyber Blader had that effect.

"When you control only two monsters, Cyber Blader's ATK points are doubled." Cyber Blader gained an extra pep in her step, and her ATK points hit 4200.

"Your move, Yuji. You'd better make it count." Alexis warned.

"The back and forth between our competitors is AMAZING! Just when one has the advantage, the other comes out of NOWHERE with a crushing blow! If I was sitting down, I'd be on the edge of my seat right now!"

Taking a gander at the crowd, I saw them watching with rapt attention, all of them excited to see what happened next.

Well, what kind of performer would I be if I didn't give them a good show?

Still, my hand is completely empty, and I was staring down a monster with 4200 ATK points. I honestly can't think of a card that can get me out of this mess.

United We Stand? No, the most I'd get out of that is 4000 ATK points if I equip it to Max Warrior and activate his effect.

Dark Hole would leave me too open, and Alexis still has two cards in her hand. If I leave myself open to an attack like that, then she'll have a straight shot at my life points. Who's to say she doesn't have Monster Reborn in her hand? Then she'd just bring her Cyber Blader back and attack for game.

Gravity Bind? I have a few of those in this deck since most of the monsters in it are level 2, but where's the fun in that? I want to end this duel in a way that'd satisfy both myself and Alexis, but also the crowd and everyone watching the stream. Gravity Bind would just slow things down until either Alexis could get it off of the field, or I could do something about her Cyber Blader.

It would be boring as hell for everyone involved.

Defense Draw is out for the same reason.

I guess the grand finale will have to wait.

"I'm really having a lot of fun, Yuji." Alexis beamed at me, and I knew then and there that I couldn't just disappoint her like that.

The duel was going to end this turn, one way or another.

"Me too, Alexis, but like all good things, this duel is about to end! I DRAW!" Taking a gander at the card I just drew, I did the only thing I could in this situation.

I laughed.

"Ha! HAHAHAHAHA!" I burst out, unable to contain myself.

"Yuji?" Alexis asked, concerned.

"Sorry, about that, Alexis." I apologized, now in control of myself.

"The finale is finally here, and I have the exact card I need to win this duel!" I boasted, earning a raised eyebrow from Alexis.

"I activate the equip spell, Unstable Evolution! When my life points are lower than yours, the equipped monster's original ATK points become 2400, but when my life points are higher, it becomes 1000! I'm equipping it to your Cyber Blader!" Cyber Blader's ATK points hit 1000, but thanks to its effect, they rose to 2000.

"I see…" Alexis whispered in realization. "Well, come at me, Yuji!"

"I intend to! Max Warrior, attack Cyber Blader!" Max Warrior ran right for Cyber Blader, bident poised to carve a chunk out of the Cyber Ice Skater.

"When Max Warrior Attacks, he gains 400 ATK points!" Which put him at 2200, just enough to destroy Cyber Blader.

"Now, Speed Warrior! Attack Alexis Directly! Sonic Edge!" Speed Warrior damn near flew over to Alexis, slamming into her with a devastating Spinning Bird Kick.

Yuji: 1700
Alexis: 0

It's funny. My last duel before the merge, I was in this exact situation, staring down a monster with more ATK points than I could handle, and the exact card I drew back then is the one I drew now, only this time, I was able to play it properly.

"Yuji Rengoku remains undefeated! Even Alexis Rhodes, Cyber Queen of the Obelisk Blue dorm, couldn't take him down!" Disa announced to cheers and jeers alike.

"And now, I want to give a shout out to our sponsors!" Yeah, I wasn't about to sit here and listen to a sponsor message, even if I was going to see some of the cash from it.

It's good to be the star of the show.

It's also bad in some ways. See, since I'm the 'main event', my duels have to be special, or else people will get bored, so the twins told me that I'll likely only be dueling in their league once a week instead of every day.

Nothing's set in stone yet, but that's the way things are shaping up.

On the plus side, they offered to increase my pay to compensate. If things end up going that way, I'd be making 10% of the total profit instead of 20% off of my duels.

"I honestly thought I had you for a second, you know?" Alexis confessed as she came over to me.

"Everyone does at the start. There's no shame in it, I'm just that good at working a crowd." I bragged, earning a laugh from her. She doesn't seem to be under the influence of the instinct, which was expected.

There's more interest than I saw before, but it's not the dramatic change in personality I saw from Jasmine and Ran.

"You know, now that you beat Alexis, my loss doesn't seem so bad, so thanks for that, Yuji." Jasmine joked, having come down from the stands with Mindy.

"Remind me which one of us did more damage again?" Alexis teased, igniting a competitive spark between the two that I could almost physically see.

"That duel had me so fired up!" Mindy cheered. "We seriously have to duel one day, you know?"

"Not often that even Mindy wants to duel." Jasmine commented, breaking away from her stare-down with Alexis to marvel at Mindy, who winked in response.

"I really am just that good, ain't I?" I rhetorically asked, already knowing how baller I am, yet still waiting for my adoring cheerleaders to fawn over me, only instead, they both smacked the back of my head.

It's good to be the king.

-The Greatest Showman-

Red-Eyes Black Dragon - 20000 DE to bind Spirit.

Right, so that's gonna take a while. Still, just because there's no spirit in the card doesn't mean it's useless. Red-Eyes Black Dragon is one of my strongest Dragon's at the moment, surpassed only by a few others.

Powerful Dragon monsters are rare in this world, but there were quite a few of them out there. Lots of Pro Duelists use Dragon's as their decks headliners, like Kabukid, the Cosplay Duelist. He's one of the best in the world, and the champion of the International Pro League.

It's not as impressive as it sounds. He's not the best in the world or anything, not even close. The International Pro League is just one of many dueling circuits. Most duelists prefer staying at the national level, and Kabukid's lost to a national champion before. He lost to Rebecca Hawkins, in fact, the American Duel Monsters champion for the past 11 years, known for her use of Gem Dragon monsters.

Shit, where was I? Oh right, Dragons. I've never been one for clout-chasing, but a Dragon deck would turn lots of heads, especially one with two Red-Eyes Black Dragons.

I need to be careful with how I build it though. I have quite a few High level Dragons to choose from, but too many would be a surefire way to start with a dead hand.

"Hey, mind if I play some music?" I turned to the other occupant of my room.

"Go for it, it's your room after all." Yumi consented from her place on my dope bean bag as she read a Duel Monsters magazine, and that was all I needed to hear. My room's become the default hang out spot for my friends, thanks to all the cool shit I bought like the bean bag chair.

"Any suggestions?" I asked Yumi while scrolling through my song list.

"Can you play some of that weird American music you like? It's been growing on me." Yumi requested, and like the good friend I am, I gave her what she wanted.

"Then you're gonna love this." I told her as I pressed play.

(Bastion)

Bastion was wrong about Yuji, he was willing to admit that. His friend was a duelist much like himself in some ways, with many decks to call upon in any situation.

The only difference is that Yuji doesn't seem to build decks for any purpose beyond 'Beat them till they're dead', While Bastion preferred a more personal approach against his opponents.

Of course, that seems to be hindering Bastion more than it helps with Yuji, because he hasn't been able to devise a strategy to beat him yet, despite the time he's spent studying his friend.

He almost thought he had it too. Bastion noticed two things about Yuji; He likes to go second, and he always finds a way to summon big monsters on his first turn. His initial plan was to build an anti-cure deck with cards like Gravity Bind to keep Yuji from attacking, with protection to prevent its destruction at Yuji's hands, but his duel with Alexis proved why that wouldn't work.

Even in a disadvantageous position and without his more powerful monsters, Yuji was a force to be reckoned with. His knowledge of the game possibly surpassed Bastion's as well! He'd never even heard of Speed Warrior before Yuji used its effect to give it more ATK than the strongest monsters in the game.

Bastion wouldn't think to make an entire deck around level 2 Warrior monsters either, but Yuji did.

Bastion could only imagine what other ingenious combinations were running through Yuji's mind at this very moment.

(Yumi)

As she watched him 'jam out' to the music he put on, Yumi couldn't help but notice something.

Yuji Rengoku is an idiot.

He isn't slow or anything, in fact, she'd say he was the opposite. If he really was as dumb as he tended to act, then he'd have never earned the reputation he had now.

Still, that didn't change the fact that he could be a bit of a dumbass at times.

"~I look just like Buddy Holly~" Yuji sang, while dancing like a lunatic. "Oh oh, and you're Mary Tyler Moore~" Her idiot pointed at her as he sang that last part, a saucy grin on his face.

"~I don't care what they say about us anyway! I don't care about that!~" Was he trying to tell her something with that last bit?

Yumi didn't know why, but the thought had her thoughts going all fuzzy, and made her heart speed up a bit.

Was Yuji making her an idiot too?!

-The Greatest Showman-

"Now I'll tribute my four sheep tokens to increase Little Swordsman of Aile's ATK by 700 for each one!" Thanks to Waboku, I didn't lose any of my tokens last turn when I activated Scapegoat.

"Excellent work, the both of you." Crowler applauded. We were in the second unit of this semester's curriculum. Crowler has us studying Warrior monsters, with the goal of making an adequate Warrior deck. The unit just started this week and is set to end in a tournament in two weeks.

Doctor Crowler said that the winner of the tournament would get an upgraded version of the Warrior deck, which came with a rare card, and that actually had me a little excited.

Every student was given the same base deck, which they could then customize as they saw fit, and at the end of the unit, depending on how you performed, your teacher, Doctor Crowler in this case, could give you some extra cards to beef up your new deck.

The cards in the base deck were all pretty weak and inexpensive, the equivalent of a starter deck in this world, but it was a good way to nurture the talent of the next generation of pro-duelists. Besides, who'd say no to free cards?

It's not like they were all bad either. Each deck had a copy of Exiled Force, Reinforcement of The Army, and a card that doubled the effect of an equip spell on the field called Double Evolution.

It was pretty sweet.

"Yuji, you've showcased an exemplary understanding of not just Warrior type monsters, but the very game of Duel Monsters, as always." Crowler praised, before turning to my opponent, a Slifer Red.

"Young Takuya," Crowler began. "You've improved greatly since the start of the week. Your use of Double Attack and Skill Successor on your last turn was phenomenal. Keep it up, and you'll advance to Ra Yellow come the exams on Monday."

"Well, I suppose you've all done well enough to earn a break for the last ten minutes of the period, for once." Crowler chortled, heading over to his desk to grade some papers.

"Nice moves, hot stuff." Mindy complimented as I sat down beside her.

"Thanks, Min. Hey, you wanna do something after I duel today?"

"Sure! What did you have in mind?" She beamed at me.

"Well I was thinking we can go back to my room and watch another movie?" I suggested, unable to keep the sly grin off of my face, and neither could Mindy.

'Watching a movie' is pretty much code for getting down like the horny teenagers we are. We haven't gone past second base yet, but after the promotion exams, I fully intend to go all the way home.

I figure a high class dorm room would be a good place for it, you know? Nothing but the best for Mindy.

"You guys hanging out after class?" Jasmine popped up from Mindy's right side, earning a giggle from the bubbly noirette.

"We sure are~" Mindy cheekily answered. "Wanna join us?" She invited her best friend.

"I'm game." Jasmine nodded.

"Hey Alexis, you wanna get in on this? We're having a movie night in Yuji's room." Mindy invited.

"I would, but I already volunteered to help Ms. Ayukawa take inventory after school. Maybe next time?" She shrugged, unintentionally making her big breasts bounce.

I'll admit, I was hypnotized for a second there, and all the three of them noticed.

"Has anyone ever told you just how great you look in tha uniform, Alexis?" I deflected, earning an amused chuckle from the girl.

As we fell into our usual banter, I reflected on everything that's been going on lately.

I've fallen into a routine these past few weeks, I'd noticed. I do well in class, hang out with friends, and duel. Of course, I did other shit too, but that was what the average day looked like.

I've been chatting Sadie up, and flirting with her whenever I go to the card shop, which has been going well. Really well. She's usually busy with work, but we've managed to find the time to see each other every few days. It's nothing serious yet, but it's fun.

Ran and I talked and hung out when we could, but since we're in different years, we don't see each other as often as we'd like. Still, we make the most out of it. Just the other day, we went out on a picnic. Once you get past her tough exterior she's surprisingly cute. Fitting for the girl who uses Insect monsters; Hard shell on the outside, soft on the inside. She ended up going full 'big tiddy onee-san' that day when she let out an 'ara ara', which had me in stitches.

I managed to scrounge up enough DE from practice duels and anyone I could find outside of the arena, and managed to bind a few spirits to cards, beef up my star rating to 6 stars, and my BP up to a maximum of 80, which cost 16000 DE in total.

The 50% extra DE I got from my star rating really made a difference, especially now that I was actively seeking duels outside of the arena. I was averaging three duels a day now, and that was outside of Basic Dueling, where I got to duel about every other day.

80 BP might sound impressive, but most high level monsters cost over 20 to bond with, and that's just for the unaffiliated ones like Wattaildragon. A more powerful spirit with multiple cards associated with them like Silent Swordsman LV 7 costs 60 DP to bond with, and Silent Magician LV 8 costs 95.

Of course, my BP doubles with every upgrade, so it all balances out in the end.

Wattaildragon further enhanced my physical abilities, and gave me the power to manipulate electricity, which was cool, but it's not particularly strong at the moment. I can coat myself in it and zap people, but the worst I'll do to a person is give them a light shock. Maybe if I bond with a WATER attribute spirit, I could soak my target and then electrocute them?

It turns out that the Chaos stat is used to measure the power of my monster abilities. Once I bond with them, I can use their abilities, but I can only use their full power after passing a certain threshold in the Chaos stat. At the moment, it's only 55. I get at least one point in each stat for every BP I have filled.

I have a few theories on how to get more bang for my buck by bonding with certain monsters, but nothing I can test yet.

I don't know how much would be needed to do cool shit, but 55 ain't enough to bring out the full power of Wattaildragon's electricity.

In other news, I figured out what the Mind stat was for. Remember the psychic duelists from 5Ds? Yeah, a high enough Mind stat lets me manifest those abilities for myself. Like my Chaos abilities, my budding ability as a psychic duelist is so weak that it's almost not even worth mentioning, but it exists.

I tried using Hinotama outside of a duel, and all I got was two slowly floating balls of fire the size of a small candle flame that barely let off any heat and were easily dispersed.

It was still pretty cool, though.

I've been looking around for another copy of Red-Eyes Black Dragon, but all I've been able to find were versions with the shitty GX artwork. I don't know what it is about that alternate art, but I fucking hate it, and refuse to sully a perfecltly good deck by adding it in.

On the bright side, I've been able to get my hands on some other powerful dragons, like Krystal Dragon, which cost more than 20000 DP to get a hold of, and was hella hard to find to begin with. but it was so worth it. The fucking thing is a level 6 with stats equal to Wattaildragon and had an absolutely killer effect.

It lets you search out any Dragon after it attacks.

I just might debut my new Dragon deck during the promotion exams come Monday.

-The Greatest Showman-

My opponent in the arena today was a girl named Ryuko Matsumoto, a first year Slifer Red, and supposedly, a Dragon user, a really good one if what I've heard about her was to be believed.

The only reason she wasn't placed in a higher ranked dorm was because she showed up late to the entrance exams and didn't have enough time to finish the written exam.

She was cute, in a tomboyish sort of way, sporting tanned skin, and a head of short, wild, black hair. She was wearing short leggings underneath her skirt, and I knew from P.E that she had an amazing ass. In fact, her entire body was amazing.

Shit, now's not the time for that. It'd be embarrassing as hell if I popped a boner in the middle of an arena, while also live on the internet, where thousands of people were watching.

With how my duels usually go, the odds were in my favor, 10/1 to be exact, but I've stopped betting on my duels anyway, so that kind of thing doesn't matter to me anymore.

The streams have become far more profitable now that viewership has increased, so I'm making nearly 250000 DP every week. It would be more than that, but the twins had to hire a few people to manage the workload, so their profit took a bit of a hit.

It was an entirely student run operation they had going on here, and it had the chancellor's blessing nonetheless. He's no doubt using these streams as both advertisement for the academy, and as a way to scout out future key bearers.

"Since I won the coin toss, I'll go second." Ryuko decided. People know better than to let me go second at this point, so whenever my opponents win the coin toss, or dice roll, they let me go first.

Not that it'll matter.

"Fine then, I draw!" Not the absolute best starting hand, given the goal of this deck, but still pretty great.

"I summon Pinch Hopper in defense mode! Then I'll throw two cards face down and call it a turn." I had Metamorphosed Insect Queen in my hand, so the moment Pinch Hopper leaves the field, Ryuko's in for a butt-fucking.

God damnit, there I go again, thinking Horny thoughts! I don't need this right now!

"If you think that's enough to keep you safe, then you're dead wrong! DRAW!" Ryuko looked over her cards with a toothy smirk.

"I activate Heavy Storm! Say bye-bye to your set cards!" Ryuko laughed.

If only I had a way to stop that.

"I activate Magic Jammer! By discarding one card from my hand, I can negate Heavy Storm, and destroy it!" Ryuko's laughter came to an abrupt halt at that, replaced by an intense stare.

"I activate Ancient Rules, which lets me Special Summon one Level 5 or higher Normal Monster from my hand. I Special Summon Mikazukinoyaiba in attack mode." A green bipedal dragon wearing armor came forth, materializing out of nowhere, as monsters often do, its crescent blade ready to attack.

Mikazukinoyaiba

2200 ATK / 2350 DEF

Ryuko took a card into her right hand, staring dead at me with a blank look that frankly unnerved me, before smiling deviously as she showed it off.

Stamping Destruction, shit…

"I activate Stamping Destruction! While I have a Dragon on the field, I can destroy a Spell or Trap on the field, and burn you for 500 points of damage at the same time!" Ryuko smugly explained.

Mikazukinoyaiba jumped into the air, landing on my face down, destroying it, and damaging me in the process with the ensuing shockwave.

Ryuko: 4000
Yuji: 3500

"Now I'll tribute Mikazukinoyaiba to summon Steel Dragoon!" Mikazukinoyaiba made way for a winged serpent-like Dragon covered in shiny metallic scales.

Steel Dragoon

2000 ATK / 1300 DEF

Now why would she…?

"When Steel Dragoon is Tribute Summoned, he gains ATK equal to the level of the tributed Monster multiplied by 200!" Ryuko informed me as Steel Dragoon's scales visibly sharpened.

And now I was staring down a Dragon with 3400 ATK.

"Steel Dragoon, attack Pinch Hopper! Shrapnel Breath!" Steel Dragoon unleashed a vortex of sharp metal from its maw, tearing Pinch Hopper to pieces.

"When Pinch Hopper is sent from the field to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon one Insect Type Monster from my hand. Come on out, Metamorphosed Insect Queen, in attack mode!"

What came forth from Pinch Hopper's corpse was basically Insect Queen, but stronger.

Metamorphosed Insect Queen

2800 ATK / 2400 DEF

"I activate Dragon's Gunfire, and use it's effect to inflict 800 points of damage to you!" Steel Dragoon shot off a fireball at me, further damaging my life points.

Ryuko: 4000
Yuji: 2700

The crowd was going nuts at this point. The last time I took any damage in a match was over a week ago, and that was a mere 500 from a Hinotama.

"I end my turn." Ryuko passed it over to me.

"Draw!" Perfect, now I can end this. "I activate Premature Burial! By paying 800 Life Points, I can Special Summon one Monster from my Graveyard in attack mode, and equip this card to it! Come back, Pinch Hopper!"

Ryuko: 4000
Yuji: 1900

"Uh… Okay then?" Ryuko remarked, confused by my play.

"Now I activate Cocoon of Ultra Evolution! See, this Spell works by tributing one Insect Monster on either side of the field that's been equipped with a card, and then I can Special Summon an Insect from my deck, ignoring its Summoning Conditions!"

'Now's your time to shine.' I communicated to the strongest spirit in this deck.

"I Special Summon Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, in attack mode!" The massive green moth with blue wings eclipsed anything else in the arena, even if it wasn't in the air, it would still tower over everything here.

Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth

3500 ATK / 3000 DEF

The crowd went wild, and I was willing to bet every DP I had that the stream chat was going wild. Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth is the single strongest Insect type Monster in the game, and by a wide margin.

The closest Monsters currently in the game didn't even reach 3000 if I recall correctly.

"But don't think that's all! Pinch Hopper's effect activates, and I'll use it to Special Summon Giant Hades Beetle, in attack mode!" Despite being an Insect monster, Giant Hades Beetle took the form of an attractive woman decked out in Stag Beetle themed armor.

Giant Hades Beetle

2500 ATK / 1900 DEF

"Oooh!" Ryuko hummed in realization. "Oooh shit…"

"Yep!" I chirped.

"Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, attack Steel Dragoon! Corrosive Scale Blast!"

My moth only had to flap its wings once, and Steel Dragoon simply ceased to exist. Perfectly Ultimate Great Moths aren't exactly the most powerful spirits, but in card form? Good luck getting over one of these in a straight fight.

Ryuko: 3900
Yuji: 1900

Giant Hades Beetle, and Metamorphosed Insect Queen, take her down!" I commanded.

Giant Hades Beetle stabbed Ryuko with her swords, while Insect Queen spat acid at her.

This game is really violent, now that I think about it.

Yuji: 1900
Ryuko: 0

+630 DE
+570 DP

Yup, I dueled a Slifer, so I barely got anything from it. Jesus Christ, when did I start considering $57 'barely anything'?

+67000 DP

That's today's pay alone. The twins really are the objective best girls for setting this up. I should do something nice for them.

"I haven't had that much fun in a duel since Alexis! You really are something, you know that, Ryuko?" I complimented the sporty Slifer, and it was in no way motivated by my infernal lust for her.

I watched her go through at least three different emotions, before eventually settling on a smug blush. I don't know how she was able to do it, but she's red as a tomato, and yet Ryuko still looks smug as hell.

"Is that how you pick up chicks, bug boy?" She teased, trying to throw me off, but I came prepared for smug tomboys.

"Yep! Is it working?" They never expect you to play along.

"As if! You're a clown if you think I'm that easy." Ryuko mocked. "Still, if you wanna chill sometime, I'd be down." She offered.

"I'd like that." I told her honestly.

At this point, I've let the horny infect me completely, and I want a piece of that ass.

And here we are ladies and gentlemen, Yuji has officially succumbed to the horni. What does this mean for the story? Not much tbh. He'll just be a lot more active in pursuing women, but this fic won't go full smut like Restrictive. If it was going to be like that, then Yuji would have been having threesomes with Jasmine and Mindy by chapter 3.

Right, so as I said before, I'll probably start uploading a few chapters of this between every chapter of Restrictive, at least until I get to the more plot heavy sections of GX. That being said, I might make chapters shorter. I won't skip out on details, or cut corners, just cut off chapters after a certain point. This chapter could have easily been two, but I don't like having less than 5k words per chapter if I can help it.
