I'm back!
I'm sorry guys I didn't realize I had more chapters written!
Anyway, enjoy!
Lacy stood with Haruhi as they looked at the midterm results for their class.
"That's not good."
Lacy glanced at Haruhi who was sighing.
"Let's go to the club and let the guys know."
Lacy smiled.
"You know they're going to freak out, especially Tamaki."
Haruhi looked defeated as they reached the door to music room 3.
"I know."
Walking in, Haruhi announced that she didn't make first place, causing the guys, minus Kyoya, to freak out as Lacy had predicted.
"What?! Haruhi, you didn't make first place?!"
Haruhi sighed again as Lacy patted her back.
"Nope."
"Then I should express my condolences. Not that it matters to me."
Kyoya expressed while Honey tried to cheer her up.
"Haruhi, don't give up!"
The twins tried to act calm about it.
"Hey, what's wrong with third place? Are you being sarcastic or what?"
"It's not like good grades mean a person isn't an idiot."
"Case in point. That guy over there."
Everyone turned to see Tamaki frantically digging through his stuff trying to find his favorite mechanical pencil.
Lacy sighed.
"You guys don't get it."
The twins patted Haruhi on the head.
"Why do you care about being first?"
"It's not like you'd be expelled from school."
Kyoya chose that time to interject while he sipped on some tea.
"But she will be expelled. She must get the top score in her year to keep her scholarship. She'll have to take the make-up test to improve her grade. The worst-case scenario is that she'll be expelled."
Learning this information Tamaki panicked and tried to give Haruhi his teddy bear as a good luck charm that she turned down. Lacy shook her head and took her seat across from Kyoya, watching as Haruhi explained she knew why she failed and needed three days off to study. The guys, minus Kyoya, tried to decide which one of them would tutor Haruhi only for Haruhi to turn them down.
"It's going to be a long three days without her here."
Lacy mumbled while looking at Kyoya, things were getting less awkward between them but keeping their relationship a secret wasn't helping.
(Day 1)
Lacy sighed, it was raining and Tamaki was being sulky with Haruhi ignoring him as she sat with her tutor.
"He really cares for her."
Kyoya glanced over at Tamaki and the twins.
"It appears so."
Lacy smiled and winked at Kyoya, who smiled and went back to his laptop just as Haruhi's tutor looked over at the group stating her distaste for how loud they were being.
"There's something I want to ask you. I know there are people who concentrate better when there's a certain level of noise. I'm wondering if this racket is for our benefit. If that is the case, I'm afraid I prefer a quiet atmosphere. Either way, this is far beyond a CERTAIN LEVEL of noise. You say you want to help Miss Fujioka study, but your actions don't match your stated intent. This is just the kind of hypocrisy I detest. Now will you kindly shut up?"
Lacy was trying not to laugh as the guys looked over at Kyoya, no doubt comparing the girl's monotone voice with Kyoya's.
"Why do I feel like Tamaki is about to make the situation worse?"
Lacy voiced as Tamaki walked over with tea and bread that was quickly shot down causing Tamaki to retreat back to the group.
"When Ayame and Tamaki are in the same room, the atmosphere turns sour. It's just as I anticipated."
Lacy was about to ask Kyoya to elaborate but was interrupted by Ayame.
"They say the rain clears the air. Some love the rainy season, seeing it as the natural poetry of Japan. I am very well aware of that, but I still don't like it. By the same token, the son of our respectable chairman. May be intelligent and popular among girls. He may appear charming to a majority of human beings. Yet there's something about him that I can't help feeling repulsed by."
"So she hates him."
Lacy looked at Kyoya who nodded.
"This should be interesting."
(Day 3)
Lacy watched from her seat as Haruhi met with her tutor Ayame again, the tension in the room higher than usual between Tamaki and Ayame.
"How do you put up with those two?"
Lacy asked Kyoya as they watched Tamaki hiding behind the couch to stare at Haruhi.
"I ignore them."
Kyoya muttered while sipping tea causing Lacy to snicker as she typed away on her laptop. The room fell into silence until the twins walked over and pointed out that Ayame had naturally curly hair.
"So much for quiet."
Lacy sighed as Ayame became angry at the twins for touching her hair, which turned into a mini rant on how Tamiki took it for granted that her hair was straight and that's why she hated the rain before bolting out the door. Tamaki watched in shock for a moment before following her.
"To bad she has a grades complex, I bet she would be more fun to be around." Lacy mumbled while pulling her own wavy hair up into a high ponytail catching Kyoya's attention.
"I didn't realize you had wavy hair."
Lacy smiled a little.
"Only in the rain."
Kyoya smiled before going back to his own work, a few minutes later Tamaki appeared explaining he had an idea for June, giving Lacy and Kyoya something to work on for when the club opened back up.
(The next day)
Lacy and Kyoya watched with pride as the guests walked into the room filled with Irises, Ayame was welcomed in with the twins with a new wavy hair style and no glasses gaining her a lot of compliments from the guests. As the guests filed in, the Host Club went to their own respective guests while Lacy and Kyoya took their respective seats.
"I'm sure my uncle already told you, but Haruhi and I are working this summer in Karuizawa. For my uncle's friend at his B&B."
Again I'm sorry for the hiatus!
Look for the next chapter soon!
Until then remember to leave a review!
