Okay, I don't own Phoenix Wright or its character. Also, I realize there are 2, soon to be 3 real sequels. This is an alternate sequel and thus plays off just the first game.
Chapter 1: Old Friends Come Home
Phoenix Wright stood on the train platform holding a "Steel Samurai" birthday cake. He had rearranged some of the frosting to say "Welcome Home Maya" instead of "Happy 7th Birthday."
Maya Fey was Phoenix teenage assistant. She'd left to master her channeling abilities, as absurd as they seemed to him.
"Looks like her train is running late." Phoenix mumbled as he looked up and down the platform. He noticed a lot of people wearing trench coats, which seemed weird with it being the middle of summer. He looked over to a nearby skyscraper and saw a billboard for Redd White's Bluecorp.
"I thought they were shut down…" Phoenix hesitated again. What was going on? He didn't have time to search for answers, as Maya's train approached.
She leapt out of the door and into his arms. After catching up on what happened in her absence, Maya asked to head back to the Phoenix and Co. offices. Phoenix found it odd she wanted to go right back to work, but shrugged it off as an odd work ethic.
As soon as they got into the offices, Phoenix grabbed a tape and tossed it to her. "Every episode of Steel Samurai you missed…"
Maya just broke down into tears, and slumped into the couch. She tossed Phoenix the newspaper. He looked at her puzzled, then down to the headline, which explained it all. Redd White Exonerated of all charges in Mia Fey Murder Case.
"That makes no sense. He confessed. I'm so sorry Maya…" Phoenix started when the doorbell rang. He sighed and answered the door. In the doorway was Detective Dick Gumshoe and two officers.
"I'm sorry Butz, but we've got a warrant for your arrest. I just can't believe you'd kill Mr. White…"
