"What about tfor the day we don't wear face masks anymore?" Kairi asked.
"Nope. Gamer satisfaction comes first. Just ask the Fortnite fans." Aiden quipped.
Damn right! Anyway I should also note that this will be the last time in the story where the Guardians are in the Pirates Of The Caribbean world. Since the second visit works more as a gameplay purpose rather than a story based purpose. So I made this conclusion have a mix of the KH game and the movie. But this chapter will also have some new ideas that I came up with.

"Set sails for the comment section! Argh!" Sora joked sounding like a pirate.
"Steer clear of those clouds Spike." Aiden teased.
"Laugh it up Aid." Sora said sarcastically.

RustyPete12: Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed how I wrote that last chapter. It's my style to be unpredictable. And this one has a funny surprise on how Aiden uses his powers to his advantage against Barbosa and his cursed crew.
SPYRO 101: Well that's still part of their plan. The Organization will have to bend their plan a little now that Aiden is included on this journey. But yes I agree. Don't worry. Kairi can kick butt now. So she'll never be the Damsel in Distress again. I don't plan to do to Kairi what Kingdom Hearts did to her. She may need assistance that anybody would need. But I believe Kairi is strong and Sora's best strength comes from her because she's his motivation and inspiration. So having her fighting side by side with him makes his burden lighter because he's not alone anymore. Also as for Aiden finding out about Roxas and Namine being Sora and Kairi's Nobodies. Let's just say things will begin to pick up faster when they visit Hollow Bastian again, they will figure things out faster. Because Aiden will be there to help Sora connect the dots.
"Because let's face it. When it comes to fighting Spike is a badass among champs. But when it comes to thinking, he tends to blink. He needs someone to help replace the batteries every now and then." Aiden quipped.
"Okay we get it! You're smarting than me alright?!" Sora exclaimed in frustration.
"Hey you said it. Not me." Aiden remarked. "But don't worry. You're brighter then you think Spike. This chapter will proof that."
"Really?" Sora perked up.
Sure... Or at it will have hints that you are.
"Hey that sounds pretty good to me." Sora said to the Author.

Below deck in the Black Pearl….
Mr. Gibbs and the rest of Jack's crew were being held inside of a cell while Will Turner was in a cell all by himself facing the others. The crew seemed to be mildly cramped all together. Having to endure the irritating squawks of Cotton's parrot. The fact that this bird wasn't chopped to bits by now, even by Barbossa's crew is a miracle and a curse.
The pirate Pintel was busy mopping the floor next to the crew's cell door. When Cotton's parrot squawked. "RACK Shiver me timbers."
Mr. Gibbs smirked at Pintel. "Cotton says you missed a bit." He mocked.
Pintel responded by flapping his mop at Mr. Gibbs. Warning him not to say another word. Ragetti was cleaning right on the other end of the room with Pintel, he looked amused. But Will was looking curious. The revelation of his father, the man he used to have respect for being a pirate was still taking a toll on his heart. So he had a question for Pintel.
"You knew William Turner?" He asked.
Pintel looked at him while mopping. "Ol' Bootstrap Bill. We knew him. Never sat well with Bootstrap what we did to Jack Sparrow, the mutiny and all. He said it wasn't right with the Code. That's why he sent off a piece of the treasure to you as it were. He said we deserved to be cursed and remain cursed."
"Stupid blighter." Ragetti snorted.
"Good man." Mr. Gibbs corrected which made everyone look at him.
"But as you can imagine, that didn't sit too well with the captain." Pintel frowned back at Will.
"That didn't sit too well with the captain at all." Ragetti snickered. "Tell him what Barbossa did to him."
"I'm telling the story!" Pintel snapped at him. Before resuming to Will. "So, what the captain did, he strapped a cannon to Bootstrap's bootstraps."
"Hehe. Bootstrap's bootstraps." Ragetti muttered at how funny that sounds while Pintel ignored him and continued.
"Last we saw of Ol' Bill Turner, he was sinkin' into the crushin' black oblivion of Davy Jones locker." Pintel confirmed how Will's father died which hit a hard nerve with him. Then Pintel bemused. "Course it was only after that we learned we needed his blood to lift the curse."
"Now that's what you call ironic." Regetti sighed and then shared a small laugh with Pintel, while Will scowled at them.
Just then, Barbossa came in with several pirates which got their attention.
"Bring him." Barbossa tossed the keys to Ragetti so he could unlock Will's cell and take him to the Island. It was finally time for them to lift the curse, for real this time.
Night outside of the caves of Isla De Muerta…..
The Black Pearl was stationed near the entrance of the cave, with no one one board the top deck. Which probably meant that everyone was inside. But for some reason the giant Aztec Eagle known as Huitzilopochtli was nowhere to be seen. Which meant it was a trap. But luckily Aiden and Sora are not idiots. Which means they have a plan. And they gave it out to the Commodore's men.
Onboard the top deck of the Royal Navy Frigate, also known as Dauntless. Aiden who was in his Maverick form was standing in the middle of the ship and relaying the plan to all of the troops who were gathered around. Along with Sora who stood by him in his armored form along with the team and Jack. While everyone else was willing to listen given the major death threat Maverick gave them all earlier. Commodore Norrington who was standing near the fort deck was still feeling defiant enough to speak against what they were suggesting.
"I don't care for the situation. Any attempts to storm the caves could turn into an ambush." Commodore Norrington stated.
"Not if you're the one doing the ambushing." Jack pointed out.
"What Jack means is that if we play this right, this will be over soon. And you guys can have justice against the Pirates that attacked your town." Sora pointed out to the Commodore.
"Go on then." Norrington stated as he was willing to listen.
First. I'm going to draw their biggest gun up in the sky for one hell of a dog fight. Then you take two of your boats to row Sora, Donald and Goofy towards the entrance of the cave. Along with Jack who will go in and use his great power of reverse psychology to convince Captain Bibbidi Bobbidi Boossa to send his men outside." Maverick went over the plan. "Once they're in place, you'll be standing near the cave entrance with some of your best rifle men and blow the dead hell out of them where they stand. With Barbossa by himself, it will be an easy victory."
"Mr. Elsenov, with all do respect. But these pirates are cursed? They can't die." Elizabeth pointed out.
"I know, I didn't say anything about killing. Which is why the troops will be using these instead." Maverick summoned a large crate of ice. He opened it and in it were rifles made of ice.
Mullroy and Mortogg came over to pick one up out of the crate. It felt just like a real rifle. Which impressed them both since they didn't feel any slippage and discomfort.
"Amazing. It's not even cold!" Mullroy smiled holding the rifle.
"What does it do?" Mortogg asked.
"Basically if you get shot you'll end up frozen in an instant block of ice. So my advice to all of you is that, if none of you want to end up in a postcard for Night Of The Living Mardi Gras. Do not use any of your regular weapons."
"What about swords?" Mullroy asked, gesturing his sword.
Blaze waved her hand and sent a electro kinetic charge to all of the troops' swords. Which made them flinch at first. But then they noticed the bolts of electricity on their swords move in artistic patterns of lightning. The troops looked at their swords with fascination. Waving them slowly. When one of the troops almost touched his own sword. But Blaze held her hand up and stopped him.
"I wouldn't do that. Whoever touches that electromagnetic pulse on your swords will have their nerves locked even on the most rotten femur. Now if you slash a dead-ish pirate, they'll fall instantly, and you get to read Shakespeare while they drool on the floor boards." Blaze stated to all of the troops.
Commodore Norrington for once was impressed. Even if he didn't show it.
"You've all thought of everything." Elizabeth smiled.
"Hehe Gawrsh. Actually we Guardians are doers. The Maverick is mostly the thinker." Goofy remarked.
"Mostly." Blaze teased at her boyfriend who roll his eyes in response.
"So, if you have any second thoughts. Now would be a good time bench or hold it in. Because if we're doing this in any way. We're doing this my way. My team's way. The Guardians way." Sora said up to the Commodore with a warning stare.
"Come on Mate, what do you have to lose?" Jack stated to the Commodore.
"Nothing I'd lament being rid of." Commodore deadpanned looking at Jack.
'I kinda agree with this asshole. For once.' Maverick thought.
"Very well. If this plays out well, I will honor our agreement and you will all walk away as free men. Including Jack and his crew. But a word of warning. If any of you return to commit any crimes against Port Royal, or any land that it own by her Majesty and Great Britain. Our agreement is nulled." Commodore stated his part of the agreement. "And we will take any violations of our deal as an act of war. Is that understood?"
"That'll do just fine Commodore Numbnuts. And same here if you ever decide to pull the trigger first." Maverick warned, as he replayed neon image of the ship sinking again next to the main ship.
Everyone on of Norrington's men of course gulped in fear again. Except for Norrington. But being a lawmen and a commanding officer. He'll honor his word. Because Maverick is more then just a pirate. He's not a pirate at all.
Even if he makes up his own rules like one.
Sora got what Maverick was saying and nodded in agreement before they shook hands with the Commodore.
Now it was time to fight. But first, Maverick went over to Elizabeth and whispered a secret mission in her ear. Something her father didn't need to know.
"I will do my part. Be careful. All of you." Elizabeth said to Maverick in response and to the guardians.
Sora smiled back at her. "We always do." He said.
"Hell yeah." Maverick nodded.
Just then. Blaze and Maverick stood together and went flying up in the sky. Once they were high up enough in the sky. Maverick sparked and illuminated with his power of neon. While Blaze began to flair with the power of fire. Thus sending a signal bait to Barbossa's biggest gun. Huitzilopochtli. The giant bird was camouflaged on top of the caves and began to flap it's giant wings.
"RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKKK!" Huitzilopochtli roared as he launched himself and flew after Blaze and Maverick. They both disappeared in the cloudy skies when they went up high enough along with the giant eagle.
With the bird out of the way and out of sight, with the exception of the sounds of thunder and flashes behind the dark clouds sky displaying that they were fighting the giant bird.
The Commodore moved on with his plan and helped Jack, Sora, Donald and Goofy over to the caves with two of his row boats. While Kairi stayed behind to guard the ship along with her little volunteer assistant Baby Groot.
Back inside the Caves…..
The pirates were dragging a bound Will Turner towards the treasure Heap to perform the ritual that had failed with Elizabeth. Only this time it's much worse for Will. Given that they've been disappointed with the last ritual not working, and all of the hard work they had to do getting to this moment. They were not taking any chances for anyone. Even for Will.
Not that some cursed pirates will care.
"No reason to fret. Just a prick of the finger, a few drops of blood" Pintel stated as he was walking ahead of Will who was being escorted by Ragetti and Twigg. But Twigg pointed out the real full plan.
"No mistakes this time. He's only half Turner. We spill it all!" Twigg stated that they're going to kill Will.
Pintel shrugged and smirked. "Guess there is reason to fret." He snickered sinisterly with Ragetti.
Will of course was feeling tense, but he had a feeling something was going to happen that would put every mean to his escape. He just hopes the Guardians won't take too long. But given that he has a tracker on his coat planted by Maverick, he won't have to wait long.
Back up in the skies…
Maverick was causing the giant eagle Huitzilopochtli to fly after Maverick who was flying fast and he kept shooting neon missiles at the monstrous bird, Blaze was right behind Huitzilopochtli firing lightning strikes and fireballs which was weakening his wings. But Huitzilopochtli was resilient.
Maverick started spinning as he flew in loops around the clouds. Forming floating ring hoops of ice. With laser lines of neons running around the hoops. Each time Huitzilopochtli flew through the hoops it roared and screeched in pain.
Just then Maverick received info on his ring.
"Spike! The dead beat navy just brought Will to their treasure room! You and Jack better act fast! They're going to kill him!" Maverick spoke to Sora via an earpiece. It was real loud dogfight with the giant bird.
"Don't worry Mav. Jack's following through with our plan." Sora responded. "And with your idea."
Down in the Treasure Heap in the caves…
All of the pirates of Barbossa's crew gather around chanting for the real blood of Bootstrap Turner to end the curse. Barbossa stood next to the stone chest of the treasure with Will standing over the stone chest of the treasure itself. His hands tied behind his back and being held and bent over the treasure by Twigg and Koehler. Because the captain wasn't going to just cut Will's hand. He was going to slit his throat and spill his blood draining corpse over the cursed treasure. To be sure they got enough in to end the curse once and for all. Unfortunately for this evil undead crew, Sora Donald and Goofy were standing by. Ready to make sure that it does not happen. While Jack went in to intervene.
"Now let's be tryin' this again! The last of the Aztec treasure has been returned. And now, the blood will be repaid to free us from this curse forever! This time for sure!" Barbossa announced.
"BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD!" The pirates chanted.
"Begun by blood! By Blood and….." Barbossa froze the moment he saw Jack make his way into the middle of the group of pirates.
The pirates stopped chanting looking shocked and surprised that he came back. Even Will was.
"Jack?" Will said.
"It's not possible." Barbossa whispered looking surprised.
"Not probable actually mate. We have boys in suits of armor blowing each other out of the sky with fireworks and magic. And me coming back is not possible?" Jack mused as he approached the captain.
"Point taken." Barbossa groaned.
"Where's Elizabeth?" Will asked.
"She's safe just like I promised." Jack stated amusingly. "And she was all set to marry Norrington just like she promised. But now the wedding is off, just like they promised, by 'they' I mean 'the guardians'. And you get to die for her, just like you promised. So we're all men of our word, really…..Except for Elizabeth who is, infact a woman."
"Shut up! You're next." Barbossa snapped at Jack as he was about to slice Will's throat.
"You don't want to be doing that Mate." Jack stopped him.
"No. I really think I do." Barbossa responded.
"Your funeral." Jack clasped his hands together looking down like Barbossa was going to get it.
Barbossa wondered what that meant as he rolled his eyes and didn't slice Will's throat and looked over at Jack. If there's one thing about Jack is his word can be unpredictable. He is a pirate after all.
"Why don't I want to be doing it?" Barbossa asked.
"Oh, because…." Jack slapped away a pirate's hand from stopping him before he walked up to Barbossa explaining the deal. "Because the HMS Dauntless, pride of the Royal Navy. And the Guardians themselves or what's left of them after what your god bird did to the Maverick. Are all floating just offshore, waiting for you."
"Wait for it…." Sora whispered from his hiding spot with Donald and Goofy standing ready.
"Just, hear me out Mate. You order your men to row out to the Dauntless. They do what they do best." Jack gestured to Barbossa's crew who laughed in response. "Then your new pet god on the roof gets to eat the guardians bone by bone. Robert's your uncle, Fannie's your aunt. There you are with two ships. The makings of your very own fleet. Course you'll take the grandest as your flagship and who's to argue? But what of the Pearl?"
"So far so good." Goofy whispered hearing the whole thing with the other two who were still hiding.
"Name me Captain. I'll sail under your colors. I'll give you ten percent of me plunder, and you get to introduce yourself as Commodore Barbossa. Savvy?" Jack proposed a deal that even a gentleman and scoundrel like Barbossa could not refuse.
"I suppose in exchange you wanted me not to kill this whelp?" Barbossa gestures Will who is still held to stand in front of the treasure.
"No no no by all means, kill the whelp. Just not yet. Wait to lift the curse until the opportune moment." Jack stated to the captain. Suggesting that he and his crew uses the curse to face off against the Dauntless and the Royal Navy.
Will was looking worried as he was thinking if Jack actually was meaning all of this. That would mean Elizabeth is on the Dauntless. And Jack is putting her in danger. Again! But what Will is not aware of is that this isn't just Jack's plan. It was also Aiden and Sora's plan.
"For instance." Jack picked up a few coins out of the treasure chest and flicked each back in to give an example of what he's saying. "After you kill the guardians and Norrington's men. Every...last...one."
As Jack enunciated each word. Will noticed that Jack held on to one coin without anyone noticing using an old thief's empty hand trick. Which made him widen his eyes. What does he have planned? But Will decided to play along for now.
"You've been planning this from the beginning. Ever since you learned my name." Will glared at Jack.
"Yeah." Jack gave a short grin.
"I want fifty percent of your plunder." Barbossa drove the bargain with Jack.
"Fifteen." Jack stated.
"Forty." Barbossa responded.
"Twenty five." Jack bargained. "I'll buy you the hat. A really big one. Commodore."
Barbossa smiled and shook hands with Jack. "We have an accord." He stated.
Then they both turned to give out the order to Barbossa's crew.
"All hands to the boat!" Jack ordered which made Barbossa give him a strange look.
"Oh no…." Donald face palmed from his hiding place. Thinking he'll tip or tick off the captain.
Jack froze and dropped his hands. "Apologies. You give the orders." He said to Barbossa.
Barbossa smiled and nodded as he looked at his men. "Gents. Take a walk!"
They all shout and make for the exit, unaware of their plan. But just because they are unaware does not mean they are not prepared. As they were actually walking towards the water.
"Not to the boats?" Jack looked confused. Barbossa just grinned in responses.
Bo'sun the first mate, stopped Ragetti and Pintel while handing them both a white umbrella. Giving them a different tactic to go along with it.
Back outside…
Commodore Norrington was still with his men awaiting for the pirates to exit out of the cave. The troops who were with him, including Mortugg and Mullroy had the rifles provided by Maverick to fire at any pirate rowing out of the cave entrance. Unfortunately some brits of principle back then can be gullible. Given that Ragetti and Pintel came out of the row boat, wearing ladies dresses and holding umbrellas. Giggling like girls as they rowed on by.
"Hold your fire." The Commodore ordered looking confused as to why ladies were coming out.
"This is just like what the Greeks did to Troy." Ragetti remarked. " 'Cept they was in a horse, instead of dresses. Wooden horse."
Pintel rolled his eyes in response. He wasn't sure who was the bigger idiot. Ragetti or those troops that fell for their obvious trick.
Elizabeth had already climbed out of her window using the ice rope Maverick left in her room, to climb out of the window and use the rowboat left for her at the bottom. Her secret mission was to get aboard the Pearl and rescue Mr. Gibbs and Jack's crew. She made it down safely and was rowing over to the Black Pearl while no one saw her.
Kairi was still onboard the Dauntless waiting for the pirates to come through the mouth of the cave. Just then, thanks to the update scanning Aiden installed on IRIS's systems. They were able to be aware of where they were coming from.
"I am Groot?" Baby Groot wondered as he stood at the rails of the ship, since they didn't see any pirates coming out of the caves. Translated: 'Shouldn't they be here by now?'
"Ma'am. It would seem Captain Barbossa's crew is walking under the water somehow. It would seem they want to take us by surprise the moment they re-emarge from the water." IRIS informed Kairi.
Kairi wasn't worried however. It made sense to her sense they were dead so they don't need lungs. But she and her team were expecting this.
"Shall I initiate Plan-B?" IRIS asked.
Kairi smirked. "Make it happen." She nodded.
"Make what happen?" Governor Swan asked.
"Hang on sir." Kairi assured the Governor before she shifted into her armor and took the wheel and shifted the power of her Freeflow abilities to sail it quickly away. Due to the fog. No one from the cave couldn't see a thing.
Back inside the Treasure Heap…
Captain Barbossa was sitting on the treasure while Will was standing with his hands still tied near the pond, with three pirates standing guard. Meanwhile Sora, Donald and Goofy were standing by ready to attack. While Jack was looking through all of the treasure and observing an interesting statue.
"I must admit Jack. I thought I had you figured, but it turns out you're a hard man to predict." Barbossa admitted about how impressed he is with Jack's luck.
Jack turned to face Barbossa and walked slowly as he knew it's about time to strike.
"Me? I'm dishonest. And a dishonest man you can trust to be dishonest, honestly." Jack repeated the same witty statement he told Will and the guardians back on the Interceptor. Which got Will's attention. While he dropped the statue back on the pile.
"Here it comes." Sora whispered. "Get ready."
"It's the honest ones you want to watch out for. Because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly stupid." Jack stated as he quickly took a sword from on of the pirates before kicking him into the water.
"Hey!" The pirate fell in and splashed.
Then Jack tossed the sword at Will. Who caught it with his bound hands and knocked another pirate into the water. Then the third pirate was about to attack when he was blasted by an ice spell attack from Sora, who came out of his hiding spot wearing his armor and standing with Donald and Goofy.
"Ahoy gold diggers!" Sora quipped as he stood in a battle stance with his two pals.
Barbossa stood up and smirked. "So you want to play pirate boys? Best save the playacting for the nursery." He drew his sword.
"Or for the morgue! Hahahahahaaaaa!" Pete came out and summoned a group of Pirate Heartless before he disappeared again.
Sora, Donald and Goofy began fighting the Heartless, alongside Will who was a good swordsman. While Barbossa and Jack began to clash. Sora and his allies were taking down Heartless with ease while they were giving Will a hand who was actually doing well on the defense. Being a Blacksmith has its perks of knowing weapons.
Jack and Barbossa were clashing each other's swords in an epic duel between two ex partners in piracy and thrill. Blocking and slashing as each fought with finesse. However, Barbossa figured he had the upper hand because he can't die but Jack can. They cling and Barbossa blocks Jack and holds his block against Jack's sword.
"You're off the edge of the map Mate. Here there be monsters!" Barbossa gloated before he pushed back and continued clashing.
Back up in the skies…
(The Pirates Of The Caribbean theme)
The Maverick was still making the chase with the giant god bird Huitzilopochtli. Each time he passed by Maverick's ring traps. The bird was getting weaker every passing minute.
Blaze started gliding alongside the smoke of the bird's damaged wings as she skates across the scales of it's tail feathers. Then she impaled her second keyblades into Huitzilopochtli's back. Then she spins around the keyblade and uses her other keyblade to slash at it's neck multiple times. This kept going until finally.
*SLASH!*
Blaze had beheaded Huitzilopochtli, cutting his head clean off in the sky. Which blew Maverick away at how epic and hot his girlfriend really is.
Then as the bird fell out of the sky. Maverick floated and huffed as he hovered over to Blaze.
"Remind me to let you carve the turkey next Thanksgiving." Maverick flirted.
"Bring your best knife." Blaze flirted back as she stroked a finger across his armored chest.
Meanwhile. Every single one of Barbossa's crew members came up from the water as they silently surrounded the Dauntless. All looking like skeletons due to the moon's light shining over the sky. But something was off about the ship. It had a color scheme of ice blue and green.
"I don't remember the Royal Navy being into blue." Skinny the pirate commented.
"Quiet skinny!" All of the pirates hissed.
So they all slowly climbed aboard the ship as they planned to kill the guards posted around the ship and take over silently. They were prepared for this and the curse gave them the element of surprise. But they were in for a surprise themselves. Because once they got on board. Bo'sun looked around with the others and noticed that the ship was a fake. Made of ice. But it appeared to have Royal Navy guards with the red uniforms on. Bo'sun reached to kill one of the guards when their heads turned backwards. Each one of the guards onboard were also fake. Decoys set by Maverick and each fake guard had Maverick's mask face made of ice.
"chill!" Each of the decoys stated.
"Chill!"
"Chill!"
"Chill!"
"Chill!"
"Chill!"
"Chill!"
"Chill!"
All the decoys all say at the same time. Then...
*BOOOM! WOOOSH!*
The decoys blew up in a smoke of ice as each and every one of the pirates on board became encased on a thick clear sheet of ice covering the top of the ship. All of Barbossa's crew froze in place with expressions of shock on their skull faces. Then without warning, the dead bird god Huitzilopochtli fell out of the sky hard and slow, and splashed into the water before sinking. But it's head fell in the middle of the ship. Then Maverick landed on top of the head holding a gun and wearing an eyepatch over his left eye.
"Enough is ENOUGH!" Maverick bellowed while he mimicked Samuel Jackson. He stepped off of the giant bird's head and glared at all of the frozen pirates. "I have had it with these mother ***king pirates! Of this Mother ***king Caribbean!"
On the other end of the water. The real Dauntless ship stood by safely as the men on board including Kairi and Baby Groot watched the whole thing. The Governor and the troops on board were in shock and amazed by how the Maverick single handedly stopped all of the crew of the Black Pearl.
"Does this mean we don't get to use these new weapons after all?" One of the troops asked, looking a little disappointed.
"Cheer up. He saved a few." Kairi pointed down in the water.
They looked down to see Ragetti and Pintel disguised as ladies rowing on a boat. All of the troops aimed their ice rifles at them.
"Oh fish paste." Pintel deadpanned.
*BAM!*
Two of the Royal Navy troops, including the one who was anxious to use the weapons, shot Ragetti and Pintel and their ice bullets instantly encased them in ice. With all of the pirates Dealt with. Maverick flew over to Isla De Muerta along with Blaze who formed a smoke rail line for Kairi to hop one and rail slide over there with them using her Freeflow abilities. Baby Groot was on her shoulder.
The troop kissed his new weapon as he was at least happy to use it on a few. And best of all, no casualties this time.
But as Maverick, and the other guardians were about to go in and assisted the rest of their teammates and allies. They heard fighting aboard the Pearl. Apparently Elizabeth managed to free Mr. Gibbs and the other crew members. But they were being attacked by Pirate Heartless.
"A LITTLE HELP WOULD BE OBLIGED!" Mr. Gibbs shouted up at the guardians as he was blocking the sword attacks of the Pirate Heartless. Their attacks weren't doing a thing to stop them. Because their swords weren't keyblades.
"Oh give us a ***king break!" Blaze exclaimed in frustration before she flew over to the Pearl with Kairi smoke sliding in tow.
"Define break. Because I don't think these Heart Attack's down have any bones." Maverick quipped as he flew with her to fight off the Heartless.
Sora and the others would have to handle it from here, because Mr. Gibbs and the crew wouldn't stand a chance against this many heartless. That and Will would probably be furious if anything happened to Elizabeth because she was following their plans. I mean come on. The Heartless are always unpredictable. Just like darkness. Given how many bruises he kept getting and losing due to all of his fights from Stormur. Maverick should know this by now.
When it comes to darkness, expect the unexpected.
Back inside the Treasure Heap…..
After Sora and his friends dealt with the rest of the Pirate Heartless. He stated. "No more playacting now!"
"Sora. Thank you." Will said to Sora with gratitude.
"Uh, Where's Jack?" Goofy asked.
"UGH!" Jack grunted from the fight after getting stabbed in the chest by Barbossa.
"Wack! OH NO!" Donald's eyes widened.
"JACK!" Sora yelled.
"You couldn't have beat me Jack Sparrow. You're a fool to even think so." Barbossa gloated over his victory of killing the great Jack Sparrow. Or did he?
Jack backed away and stood into the moonlike. As his skeleton form was revealed. He looked at his own boney hands in fascination and the fact that he didn't feel any pain from the sword in his chest.
"That's interesting." Jack commented as he flipped a medallion coin in his fingers. Revealing that he kept one so the curse would protect him for this fight, he smirked with his boney smile. "I couldn't resist Mate."
Barbossa looked surprised and worried while Will, Sora, Donald and Goofy looked shocked and relieved. Jack Sparrow truly is clever.
"Show yourself Pete! The tide has changed!" Barbossa demanded the assistance of Maleficent's stooge.
"Hold your horses, I've been dealing with the other numbskulls outside." Pete stated revealing that he's the one who summoned the Pirate Heartless aboard the Black Pearl to distract Maverick and the other guardians. "See? I told ya you'd been needin ol' Pete!"
So Pete whistles for a new type of Heartless to appear. He summoned a large class reptile that would make any fight in a cave difficult for your average pirate. Crawling up from the walls camouflage in the stone structure. Came a large twelve foot lizard with two arms, glowing yellow eyes and large red tongue and a stinger tail with a maze shape. This Heartless was called an Illuminator.
It landed and stood behind Barbossa and turned it's gaze towards Will Sora, Donald and Goofy. The Illuminator crawled over to Sora, Donald and Goofy and caused the whole cave around them to dim. As the light faded, only Sora's armor was giving off a little bit of light. Sora stood in the dark caves. Not sure where the monster was. Even Donald, Goofy and Will were lost in the dark. So they wandered around the dark caves trying to find this monster and take it down so they could get back in the fight. Speaking of a fight. The only thing the team could hear was Jack clashing with Barbossa.
With the everyone dealing with the large Heartless and Jack clashing with Barbossa. Pete snickered as he vanished without a trace. Leaving to go and cause trouble on whatever word the Guardians will head to next after this.
That's if they make it out of this.
Both of the clashing pirates could still see each other in the caves as they continued their undead duel. Barbossa would fight dirty by flinging coins at Jack would recoil but fight back. Jack of course landed a cheap shot and slashed the feather off of Barbossa's hat. They both were experts in swordplay as they passed by the moonlight and would fight as skeletons or out of the moonlight and fight as men.
When Jack knocked Barbossa against a display of a golden chalice. Barbossa stood as bones under the moonlight as he gave a breath.
"So what now Jack Sparrow? Are we to be two immortals locked in an epic battle until Judgement Day and the trumpets sound?" Barbossa asked.
"Did he seriously just give a reference to the Rapture?!" Sora echoed from the dark caves still lost because of the Illuminator.
"Or you could surrender." Jack Sparrow witted a suggestion.
In response, Barbossa continued to clash his sword with Jack's sword.
Meanwhile Will made it at the end of the cave where the three undead pirates that were guarding earlier came out of the water. One of them was Jacoby who screamed to startle Will who staggered and tripped when the pirate threw a small bomb that flew in a pile of coins. Will looked up to see the pirate was about to attack him.
"I'm gonna teach you the meaning of the word pain!" Jacoby yelled as he was about to kill Will.
"Do you like pain?!" Elizabeth came out of Nowhere and smacked Jacoby with a golden staff she found in the cave. "Try wearing a corset."
Maverick, Blaze, Kairi and Baby Groot came in as well. They were the only ones given that Maverick told the other pirates to stay aboard the Pearl and be ready to leave when this is all over. They of course agreed given that Maverick and his team saved all of them from those heartless.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot commented on how badass that comment was while standing on Maverick's shoulder.
Maverick came over and helped Will off of the wet ground and he smiled at them. But his best smile he gave to Elizabeth who smiled back. But then the darkness coming from the Illuminator. As a response. Blaze shot a beam of fire at the Illuminator directly in the dark, weakening the large Heartless as it fell off the walls and onto the ground. Causing the room's radiance to reappear and light up the cave which caused Sora, Donald and Goofy to find themselves in the cave and regroup with the others. While taking out a few Pirate Heartless that popped out of nowhere. Even Maverick lended a hand for them by slashing and shooting sharp ice crystals at them.
With the Illuminator Heartless still on the ground, it was about to get back up. But Kairi ran over quickly, she jumped and slashed at the Illuminator with her keyblade. Taking it down instantly.
"Woah!" Sora gasped in amazement by how awesome Kairi looked taking it down.
"Let there be light and there was Blaze and Rosebud." Maverick muttered at how those girls handled that big thing by themselves.
Kairi giggled at his comment while Blaze just winked.
But while that went on. Will and Elizabeth had managed to impale off three of the pirates together using the golden staff. With Jacoby in the middle. Then Jack stuffed a lit bomb into Jacoby's stomach while the tree Pirates were standing in the moonlight. Then Elizabeth and Will pushed them out of the moonlight so the bomb was stuck inside of Jacoby's stomach who gulped knowing what comes next. But to make things worse. Maverick conjured up a wall of ice to block the explosion from their end.
"No fair." Jacoby whined before…..
*BOOM!*
The three pirates blew up.
Then Elizabeth and Will regrouped with the other guardians. They looked over to see Jack still fighting with Barbossa. And it looks like it could last forever. But one thing is for sure. This curse has gone one long enough.
"Who's side is Jack on?" Elizabeth asked.
"This time. He's on our side." Sora said confidently.
"At the moment." Will shrugged as he took out a knife. "I have a plan."
"I hate it already and that's why it's good." Maverick remarked with a nod.
Jack overheard while he was still clashing his sword with Barbossa. So as Jack was backing up closer to the stone chest of Cortez's Treasure. Blocking all of Barbossa's attacks. He quickly slashed his own hand with the medallion coin he stole. In order to make sure his blood was added. Then he tossed his Medallion coin to Will who soaked it in his own blood as well.
But as Will was about to drop the coin into the chest. Barbossa made him freeze by aiming his pistol at Elizabeth while the evil captain was looking at Jack, the captain wasn't even noticing Will. But he was looking for a means to end the fight. Acting like he has the upper hand now. He clicked his gun and…..
*BANG!*
Elizabeth gasped sharply. But she wasn't shot. Because Barbossa didn't get a chance. On account of Maverick using his superspeed to dash and snatch Barbossa's gun before he even had a chance. Maverick was seen standing next to Jack while holding his hand.
"Sorry but not sorry Captain Betty. Time for Diet Blackbeard to pay the ferryman." Maverick waved goodbye while dropping Barbossa's gun on the ground.
But Barbossa noticed it wasn't Maverick who shot him. It was Jack who had his pistol out and shot Barbossa in the chest. He thought fast. After all, the Maverick doesn't kill human beings. But that doesn't mean he'll tell others to be the same way. Jack is a pirate and he waited long for this moment. To use that pistol with one shot that was left for him on the Island Jack was maroon to die on.
Barbossa was kind of amused by this.
"Ten years you carry that pistol, and now you waste your shot." Barbossa scoffed.
"He didn't waste it!" Will called from up top on the chest.
Barbossa turned to see Will finally dropped the coins into the stone chest. And finally at that moment the coins touched the collection of every coin with the blood paid of all who touched, the Aztec curse was finally lifted. Barbossa looked down at his chest and opened his coat to see blood pouring out of a bullet hole. Barbossa looked up and gave a weak scoff at how clever that Jack outsmarted him. Maverick could save the man with a healing spell. In fact the other Guardians could. But Barbossa took the lives of so many innocent people and this was Jack's kill. Jack may be a pirate, but even he deserved justice after everything.
"I feel…...cold." Barbossa rasped before he fell backwards onto a pile of coins and dropped a green apple.
"Uh... Is he really dead?" Goofy asked, wondering if the curse really is lifted.
Just then.
*CRASH!*
A large treasure chest that was hanging from the ceiling fell on top of Barbossa's corpse surprising all of them. The chest appeared to have been hanging and dangling from a rope. Until someone tripped over it. They all looked over to see Baby Groot who tripped over the rope and caused the chest to fall over Barbossa.
"I... am Groot?" Baby Groot smiled nervously stating he meant to do that, which he really didn't
"Yeah he's Cap'n Crunch now." Maverick deadpanned about Barbossa getting smashed by a giant treasure chest.
"Oh Gawrsh." Goofy chuckled looking over at Will and Elizabeth.
The others looked to see Will and Elizabeth kissing finally. Which they all missed at this. They deserve this after everything they went through. Even Maverick and Blaze could relate to this. Sora and Kairi…..Well who knows. They all do know though. Even if those two won't admit it.
"I take it,'' she told him about the engagement being canceled." Blaze remarked.
"No. It's just the opportune moment." Jack smiled at them.
Maverick nodded and smiled at Jack. He patted his shoulder.
"I hate to admit this. In fact I want to wash my tongue with bleach and acid for saying this. But…. you kicked ass. Even though you hijacked everyone's sanity and wiped your butt cheeks with it….Who am I kidding I do the same thing." Maverick went on trying to find the right words until he cleared his throat and finally said it. "You did good."
Jack stood staring blankly at Maverick for his witty remarks and losing his train of thought. Jack twitched a bit on the eye and lip. Until he smiled and shook his hand with the Maverick. They both finally made peace.
"No worries Mate. I won't make a habit out of it." Jack winked before he went for the exit while picking some gold up around the cave.
Maverick sighed looking unamused. "Just when I was starting to have hope for the stoned bastard." He muttered before he snickered.
At least Jack wasn't touching any of the cursed treasure.
Back outside on the Dauntless…
Everyone of Barbossa's men aboard the fake Dauntless ship made of ice, were floating on the ship towards the real Dauntless. As un-cursed crew were floating over they past by the Black Pearl and saw Mr. Gibbs and Anamaria smirk at them while some of Jack's crew waved goodbye at Barbossa's crew by wiggling their fingers mocking them.
"RACK! Parole? What parole?" Cotton's Parrot squawked.
All of those frozen solid pirates could only look at them before they looked ahead to see Commodore Norrington stand with his men and Governor Swan aboard the real Dauntless. Once the fake ice ship was near the edge, Maverick flew over to the ships and he reached his arm out to cause the ice ship to hover above the Dauntless. He tiled the ship upside down and unfroze Barbossa's crew to fall in front of all of the troops. Then Maverick causes the fade Dauntless made of ice to fade away.
All of Barbossa's men were shivering and shaking from the cold in front of all of the Royal Navy Troops. Including Pintel and Ragetti who were rubbing their arms and looked up to see some Royal Navy troops aiming their weapons at them signaling their arrest. The un-cursed crew looked up at the moon and saw the light shine over them. But they didn't become rotting skeletons.
As if the fact that their cold wasn't proof enough that they're not cursed anymore. But They probably wish they still were right now.
"Uh…..P-P-Parley?" Pintel shivered with a nervous smile.
"Victory is ours Gentlemen." Commodore announced and the Royal Navy cheered for the defeat of Barbossa and his crew.
"Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!" They cheered with pride and joy.
The Commodore looked up at Maverick who gave him a two finger salute before he flew away. The Commodore nodded back at him as he felt grateful for his help in stopping Barbossa. Even if he didn't show it in his blank expressionless face.
Glass half full. At Least Commodore Norrington respects Maverick now. Even if they don't see eye to eye. Then again. Maverick feels the same way towards Jack. But he might have a little bit more respect for the crazy pirate now.
Down at the Rock Face Of Isla De Muerta...
While up in the sky. Maverick shifts back into Aiden and flies back over to the entrance of the Isla De Muerta cave, where the Black were stationed itself at the rock face. Sora, and the other Guardians walked out with Jack, Will and Elizabeth. Jack's crew came over and cheered for them and shook hands. Even Maverick landed next to his team to shake hands and accept thanks from the other pirates that fought at their side. They were all pardoned for their crimes and were allowed to sail away as free men. Only to possibly become wanted again. But hey, pirates will be pirates.
"Captain Sparrow." Anamaria approached Jack who looked nervous. She grinned and handed him his captain's coat. "The Black Pearl is yours.
Jack smiled and accepted the coat and felt glad to have his ship back.
"You still owe me a ship." Anamaria gave him a warning glance before walking over to the guardians. "You've all fought like true sailors and legends. You have our thanks."
"Hey no problem. It's what we do." Sora smiled and shook her hand.
"Although I figured you lads would've sailed off by now with the Pearl and left us here to celebrate alone." Jack remarked looking at Mr. Gibbs.
"Well. We figured they were more actual….guidelines." Mr. Gibbs grinned back.
"RACK! Rules are meant to be broken." Cotton's Parrot Squawked.
"Damn right." Aiden smirked at the bird.
"So. Now that you're out of the heat with the Royal Navy, for now. What's next for Jack Sparrow?" Victoria asked Jack.
"Whatever I want, now that the Pearl is mine again." Jack stated as he puts on his captain's coat. And he looked over at his ship with a grin. "There she is."
"Thank you Jack." Will was about to shake his hand with Jack panicked and flinched away.
Then Jack froze and looked around at everyone giving him a weird look.
"What? I didn't want him to hit me again." Jack said while settling.
"Okay? Well, Good luck Jack." Sora said letting that awkward moment pass.
"And remember to be good." Donald winked at Jack.
"I'm off." Jack gave two thumbs up at them before he turned around and looked at his ship. Knowing he has a lot of adventures to catch up with the Pearl.
The guardians looked over and smiled at Will and Elizabeth each other and kissing.
"Awe." Kairi gushed.
"Good for them." Sora said with his hands behind his back.
"Uh huh." Goofy nodded and looked at Sora, then he noticed him blushing. "Hey Sora. How come your face is all red?"
Sora gawked and looked nervous. "What? It is not red!" He stated trying to cover his face.
"Dude your more red than a Uma Thurman marathon." Aiden quipped smirking at Sora.
"Don't deny it." Victoria crossed her arms smirking at Sora too.
"Aw, I know who you're thinking about." Donald smirked as well.
Kairi caught on to what they were teasing about and decided to play along with a smirk aimed at Sora. "Reallllly? Is it someone….special?" Kairi teased while batting her eyelashes at Sora. While Sora looked nervous trying to hide the blush.
While the team were chuckled at Sora blushing over Kairi. Jack took out his compass and looked at it. He noticed a little tiny spec of dust on it. That immediately sparked into light. Then his compass began to glow and float up in the air. And Sora's keyblade was glowing as well.
"Here we go." Sora said as he held his keyblade out with both hands.
Then the area around Sora began to ship in between dimensions, like he was standing over night clouds and thunderstorms. Sora held his keyblade forward as a light ray in the shape of a crown formed underneath him as the compass above shot a beam up above. And revealed a keyhole. Sora spins his keyblade and points at the keyhole, then a beam of light shot inside the keyhole. Then he heard the sound of a large gate unlocking as it shines brightly beyond belief. Then the area shifted back around Sora and he was standing with his friends again.
Jack caught his compass as it came back down. Everyone, all of the pirates and the Royal Navy Crew saw this from a distance. And they were all fascinated.
"Please tell me the drink wasn't talking again." Jack said with his eyes widened.
"No Mate, we saw too." Mr. Gibbs nodded looking shocked as well.
"Don't worry. That just means it's time for us to get going." Kairi assured everyone.
"Will you be needing any help on your epic quest?" Will asked Sora.
"Just say the word and I'll bring a bottle and some gunpowder." Jack offered as well.
"No need Jack Momoa. We can handle it from here. Besides you and the Pearl have a lot of catching up to do." Aiden declined politely to Jack's offer.
"He's right. And You and Elizabeth have some catching up to do." Sora winked at Will who smiled back with Elizabeth.
"Take care everyone." Kairi chimed at them before they were being beamed up to their ship.
"Thanks again. All of you." Elizabeth smiled while holding Will's hand.
"We are all in debt to you." Will smiled as well.
"Good luck Guardians." Anamaria bid them farewell.
"May the tide always turn in your favor, lads." Mr. Gibbs said to them with a grin.
Aiden and Sora along with the guardians saluted Jack and his crew before they teleported away.
Back on board the Highwind Gummi ship...
Everyone was in their seats as Aiden had a turn to pilot the ship. But also they were back in their original outfits they had one before they entered the pirate world. Because there was no need for those pirate outfits. At least until when and if they ever need to return there. Sora might one too. He sure had fun being a pirate. While Aiden was just glad to be out of there.
Sora leaned back in his chair and grinned at Donald. Thinking about something that was on his mind when they were dealing with the cursed treasure.
"You know... For a minute there. I was afraid we were gonna lose Donald to the curse of the treasure." Sora teased.
"Yup. Me too ah-hyuck!" Goofy laughed.
"WHAT?!" Donald exclaimed with a glare.
"Do you think it was a good idea to leave that cursed treasure crap back down in that cave? Who's to say no one will try to steal from it again?" Victoria asked Aiden.
"Who said to leave it there?" Aiden smirked holding up one of his dad's grenades.
"Are those one of Jase's blackhole grenades?" Victoria inquired looking amused.
"Totally. Wanna know were I left a few of them?" Aiden mused.
Back down in the Caribbean sea...
After saying goodbye to Jack and his crew, Will and Elizabeth sailed back to Port Royal on the Dauntless. Jack was now sailing aboard his ship. Along with his crew which included Mr. Gibbs. And Of course Anamaria who only agreed to sail with him until she's given a ship of her own.
Jack was taking control of the wheel as he set a course over the night skies and the open seas. He looks down at his open compass.
*BOOOOOOOOM!*
Jack flinched and jerked his head to look back from where they came from. They saw a mushroom cloud shaped black hole suck up the entire Island of Isla De Muerta into oblivion. Destroying the Island and the cursed treasure with it. Jack smirked as he knew that Sora or possibly Aiden was making sure no one else ends up like Barbossa's crew.
"I'd take that's the Guardians doing?" Anamaria amused looking out with a smile of her own.
"Cleaver. I bit dramatic and a waste of gold. But cleaver." Mr. Gibbs snickered before taking a drink.
Then Jack resumed sailing as his troubles of that treasure was behind him for good. And now all that's left was to find more trouble.
"Now….Bring me that horizon." Jack hummed the song ' A Pirate's Life For me' while sailing and looking at his compass. "And really bad eggs. Drink up me hearties, yo ho."
Then he closed his compass as his course was set. To an open world of adventure. For it surely and truly is a pirate's life. For Captain Jack Sparrow.
