Chapter 1063
Remember That
Cameron started to receive information from CamNet regarding the steps being taken to assist her. Sheila and Ally followed a few minutes behind her There were two drones were on their way. There were two more that would be available on short notice. She was aware that Young Allison currently worked in the Command Center with John. She knew it was the future knocking. She wondered how nervous John was to work with her. She smiled to herself when she thought about his 'conditioning'. She certainly knew what he would be thinking about when he was around her.
She saw this as a good thing that they were able to work together. The future always found a way to knock. She wondered if Young Allison had done anything to knock John off balance yet and put him on the defensive. She figured Young Allison might have done something that wasn't too extreme to make her point.
They'd been unable to determine if the last group of Skynet Fanatics they encountered were working with an actual 'Skynet - SkyMaster' or trying to establish one somewhere. Whatever they were doing, it was a threat.
One thing was for sure. They were more than willing to kill themselves rather than talk. Their version of Skynet was their god, SkyMaster. The whole idea seemed perverse to her that people would actually worship a machine, especially one that wanted to destroy everything. She didn't need to think too hard to remember there were plenty of Grays who were willing to serve Skynet as well. Then again some of them had limited options. Either they did Skynet's dirty work or they were terminated.
Earlier:
Cammy was let off at Cameron's base by Sheila and Ally.
She wanted Savannah to have some privacy. She was aware that CamNet blocked her call before.
Cammy's phone buzzed.
'Your calls will go through now. I'm sorry.' CamNet typed.
Cammy wanted to be cordial. She actually understood how CamNet felt. She felt the same way at times.
'Thank you, sister.' Cammy typed back. 'Always remember that I have feelings, just like you do. Don't forget, we run the same base program as well.'
She knew that Young Allison must have intervened on her behalf or probably on Savannah's behalf. Either way it benefited her. She didn't think that Savannah would want her to make a big deal about it.
Cammy knew she wouldn't be able to compete with Cameron or Young Allison once Savannah took her place in the 'Natural Order'.
She looked around the base but made no effort to call Savannah again or go to CamNet's bunker. She wanted to let CamNet know that she accepted whatever happened. It was clear to her she was going to have to do plenty more of that in the future too. The 'most' she could hope for, was 'less'.
Maybe Cammy didn't need to fear replacement from Young Allison at this time. There was no reason they couldn't all share. More than likely Young Allison would bring Anna into the mix. That would lead to other possibilities. The more she thought about it, the better it got. She pictured herself with Anna while Young Allison and Savannah shared. She pictured the switch so that she would be with Young Allison and Anna would be with Savannah. Then they could all finish it off with their own Metal girlfriend. She would be with Savannah and Young Allison would be with Anna. They could always start the rotation again.
The real problem would be when Cameron and John entered the mix. She was pretty sure John would be more than willing to be with all of the females including Anna and her. She still wanted to try that experience at least once. She didn't think Cameron should get to hog all of John's time. She was created in Cameron's image, it was only rightful that she be allowed time with John as well as the girls.
Sheila knew they were delayed by letting Cammy off at Cameron's base. The act cost them a few minutes. When dealing with Cameron a few minutes could seem like hours.
"I don't think Cameron is going to wait for us." Sheila said.
Ally didn't think so either. There were ways to influence that.
"I think you're right she probably won't." Ally said. "That's unless she's asked to wait by someone."
Sheila didn't want to bother the girls again. She already felt she may have intruded where she shouldn't have but it seemed like the right thing to do. Savannah always told her to do the right thing. Savannah told her that the hard choice was usually the right choice.
"I don't want to call Young Allison again or Savannah." Sheila said.
Ally thought a direct approach might work. It was worth a try. She figured it would probably cause some irritation but their point would be made and it would be out there. It would at least give Cameron something to think about, even if she disregarded it. It would still be in her mind.
"Maybe we should just call Cameron." Ally said.
Sheila wanted to help keep Cameron undamaged for her trip. She thought it would be something really special for John and Cameron to share.
"I'll do it." Sheila said.
Sheila took out her phone and called Cameron. She looked over at Ally and knew Cameron wouldn't hesitate to 'borrow' Ally's chassis if hers was damaged. That could happen whether Ally agreed or not. She wondered if Cameron would force Cam, Ally or Cammy to relinquish their chassis for Cameron to use on the cruise. That way she could provide John with a virgin chassis for their honeymoon.
Sheila knew that Cameron was her program so she could use any chassis, even hers. She wondered if that's how her first experience with the male would actually happen. Would it be with Cameron in control of her chassis?
Young Allison watched the monitors and Cameron's progress. She wasn't happy how events were shaping up. She didn't want Cameron to act too abruptly.
"I don't like Cameron going in alone." Young Allison said.
John was surprised to hear that Young Allison felt the same way he did about Cameron. He wondered if Young Allison could influence Cameron any better than he could.
"I don't like her doing that either." John said. "Savannah always tries to go with Cameron if she knows about it. It helps moderate Cameron's actions."
Young Allison didn't like that thought any better. She planned to share the risk soon herself. She didn't like all the bruises that ended up on Savannah's body. There were a lot of small nicks and cuts as well. Few of those ever required any stitches. Even though it was all cosmetic damage, it still bothered her. Savannah felt all of those when they occurred and as they lingered until they healed in some way. That needed to stop. She knew it wouldn't stop all together but she figured her presence will allow her to absorb some of the damage and keep it off of Savannah.
"I don't like Savannah being out so much with Cameron and having to face danger as often as she has." Young Allison said. "It's very risky for her. The burden needs to be shared."
John could see Young Allison felt the same way about the danger Cameron put Savannah in as he did.
"I don't like any of it either." John said. "I'm willing to take those risks myself. Savannah isn't a cyborg and needs more downtime. I think sometimes Cameron forgets that. "
Young Allison looked at John and spoke from her heart.
"That's changing when I get 'back'." Young Allison said as she looked at John. "I'll be going in her place. I plan to step up to assist Cameron. I actually don't know what I need to wait for to tell you the truth. Everything that's going to happen later could happen now as well. I mean everything. There's no reason not to get started now with any of it. I'm ready to step up. I'm ready for any new experience."
John already knew where that was headed. He didn't want to even discuss that. The trip to the past was another thing he didn't want to happen nor approved of. He also thought about the 'everything' part. There were a few things he would like to get started now. He didn't really think it would make a difference in the long run either. He was mainly worried about the repercussions from others.
Young Allison looked at Anna, then at John. She decided to act. It didn't appear that anyone else was going to do it.
"Have CamNet notify Cameron to wait for Ally and Sheila before she acts." Young Allison said.
John was surprised but pleased at what he heard. That wasn't something he could have done and hoped for any positive result. He was painfully aware Cameron didn't like him meddling in her combat affairs. She always told him that she was the one on the battlefield and made her own decisions based upon that.
He checked the other screens to see what was happening. He wanted to know how far the backup team was away from Cameron.
John saw Cammy no longer showed being with Ally and Sheila on the tracking overlay.
"What happened to Cammy?" John asked.
Young Allison didn't look at him when she spoke.
"She was given a new assignment." Young Allison said.
John knew it was related to the call Young Allison received earlier.
John wondered how much else went on that he didn't know about. If it was personal, he knew that Cameron didn't want it discussed. He could understand that. He wouldn't want his personal life discussed.
John Henry received some more tracking information.
"Steve and Tom are responding as additional back up." John Henry said.
John was glad that John Henry was able to get another team in to assist Cameron.
"I'm pleased to hear that." John said. "It was smart to get them out. That was good thinking on your part. "
John Henry wasn't the one that dispatched them. He didn't want John to get the wrong impression with Young Allison and Anna sitting a few feet away from him. If they would have been in the Young bunker he wouldn't have said anything. He would have let John assume that he'd sent them.
"I didn't send them." John Henry said.
Young Allison looked at John. Normally she would stay in the background and let Anna and CamNet take care of everything she wanted done. She didn't like to be directly involved in the Resistance matters even if she was. She'd made her reasons clear to everyone.
"I did." Young Allison said. "I sent them. I saw that they were available and I used them."
Anna didn't think that should be a surprise.
"I did mention earlier that other Terminators would be sent." Anna said.
John knew that to be true. He didn't realize it was going to be so soon for a recon. Young Allison tried to cover all possibilities. He could see how it would be beneficial to any action that Cameron wanted to take. There would be other Terminators to help and also be able to pull her out if necessary. He didn't want to think about that last possibility. It would indicate severe damage. He directed his attention to Young Allison.
"You always send additional personnel and use Resistance resources more frequently than we have before." John said. "I don't mean that as a criticism either. It has proven very positive in the last few weeks. I appreciate your assistance."
Young Allison said what she believed. She wanted to make clear her motivation as well as the results for her actions. She didn't plan to be apologetic about any of them if the need arose. It didn't appear that would need to be the case. John seemed to understand what was necessary and that everything worked out.
"I want Cameron and Savannah protected." Young Allison said. "Cameron has received less damage when I've 'assisted'."
John thought about that. It was true. Many of their Terminators received less damage. John felt a little defensive. The operations of the past when Cameron received her most severe damage were different then what they currently possessed. Their operation was very sparse at that time.
"We didn't always have what we have now." John said.
Young Allison was trained by Cameron and the Metal girls to respond differently. They still needed to operate with as much secrecy as possible but that didn't mean they couldn't employ more of their resources to assist.
"We do now. We need to use everything at our disposal to keep our people safe." Young Allison said. "If we need to hit back, we'll hit back hard."
John couldn't disagree with that but he wanted to keep as much of what they did under wraps. It was clear to him that Young Allison would push things all the way. She would do what it took to protect their troops, which mainly consisted of their Terminators. The humans were generally regulated to work on reconnaissance duty. That was everyone except Savannah. She always seemed to be in the thick of it now. That last fact seemed to be a 'sticking point' for everyone.
"We need to use moderation and prevent exposure and collateral damage." John said.
Young Allison wanted to protect the future. The Resistance staying ahead of Skynet did that.
"Our troops should come first." Young Allison said. "If Skynet takes over, those other things will no longer matter. They will all be destroyed and become collateral damage at that point. Sometimes sacrifices need to be made. The needs of the many come before the needs of the few. It's just that simple."
John could see there was some logic to that. If Skynet blew up the world, only survival mattered at that point. The unfortunate event of Judgment Day appeared to have happened in multiple futures at this point. It still made him wonder about the one future that Cameron and Savannah described. They usually referred to it as, 'In some future'. He knew that was one of the futures where Savannah delivered a baby. It was his baby. There was no record of any of the Resistance personnel in that future. Cameron speculated that specific future was different because they weren't in it. The most likely explanation for that was she'd sent them all into the past to live their lives free of Skynet. He really wondered if that was true. So far there was no proof of that. Sometimes he wondered if that wasn't what they should just do now to 'get away from it all'.
Cameron looked at her phone when it rang. It was Sheila.
She was still displeased with Sheila for her earlier antics, especially with Cammy.
"What is it?" Cameron asked somewhat negatively.
Sheila wondered if she'd made a mistake and should have asked Ally to make the call.
"Ally and I want you to wait for us to back you up." Sheila said. "We're on our way now. We'll be there very soon."
Cameron didn't see what she needed any backup for. So far nothing had happened. She hadn't even observed the target yet.
"I'll think about it." Cameron said. "This is only a recon."
Ally reached over and took the phone. She didn't want Cameron to make a decision based upon her anger at Sheila for her earlier antics. She wanted Cameron to know there were others concerned about her as well.
"Wait for us." Ally said. "We're on the way. I worry about you too. We both do. All of us do. You need to remember that. We will help you. All of us will help you."
Cameron didn't think she needed a lot of attention. She could take care of things on her own. She'd done that for years. She received some new information.
"Steve and Tom are on the way as well." Cameron said. "I just was updated by CamNet."
Ally wanted Cameron to remember something. She thought it was something important.
"Someone is looking out for you." Ally said. "Remember that. Remember why too."
Cameron looked at her phone….
She realized where all the help originated from. It was Young Allison. It was something to think about. There was one problem now that popped into her mind. It was only a matter of time until it occurred. She hoped to have the recon wrapped up by then.
Savannah was still topless in front of CamNet. They were very close to expanding their involvement with each other.
CamNet knew everything that was happening on the outside. She hadn't informed Savannah yet. It looked like that was going to be necessary.
"You need to unplug me again." CamNet said.
Savannah wasn't done yet. She was highly sexually aroused.
"Already?" Savannah asked. "Would you like me to install your chips?"
CamNet needed to come clean.
"There's a situation developing." CamNet said.
Savannah was instantly alert. Her arousal quickly faded and was replaced by concern.
"What's wrong?" Savannah asked.
CamNet needed to tell it like it was. She knew it was a dangerous situation. She also knew what was going to happen as soon as she told Savannah.
"Cameron is doing recon on a possible Fanatic location." CamNet said.
That was bad news. Savannah knew she needed to leave at once.
"I need to go to her. She'll need me." Savannah said. "Please sit down."
CamNet wanted Savannah to return.
"We can do my chips another time." CamNet said.
Savannah knew they were just getting started. She wondered what would have happened if they would have been in the middle of 'sharing' with each other when the news broke.
"You know I'll come back." Savannah said. "How much danger is Cameron in?"
CamNet could see the concern that Savannah felt. It was genuine concern and worry. It was clear to her how much Savannah loved Cameron. It made her wonder who Savannah saw in front of her when she sat on her lap and their bare breasts were pressed together. She didn't want to think about that right now. She wanted to reassure Savannah that help was on the way.
"Ally and Sheila are going to assist her. Steve and Tom are headed there as well." CamNet said. "It's just a recon so far."
Savannah needed to leave as soon as possible. She didn't think there was any such thing as 'just a recon' for Cameron. She was going to drive there by herself.
"I'm going to need a vehicle." Savannah said. "I'll be fine on my own."
CamNet was relieved that Cammy was there. She hadn't allowed her calls to go through earlier. Cammy hadn't made a big deal about it. She understood when Cammy referred to her as her 'sister'. It made it abundantly clear to her.
"Cammy's here." CamNet said. "She's been waiting for you."
Savannah wondered why Cammy hadn't notified her. She quickly realized that Cammy wanted to give her some private time.
"I need to go." Savannah said. "Let's get your top off and then I need to go."
CamNet sat down. Savannah stood in front of her and leaned over her. Her breasts touched CamNet's face as she prepared to unplug her.
"Are you ready?" Savannah asked.
CamNet was very disappointed in her earlier hesitation. She'd wanted to be with Savannah. It was clear that Savannah wanted to be with her.
"Yes." CamNet said.
Savannah unplugged her and removed her top. She quickly plugged CamNet back in.
"Do you still want to try on my pink bra?" Savannah asked.
CamNet wanted to leave a further incentive for Savannah to return.
"Maybe next time." CamNet said. "I know that you want to go now."
Savannah wanted to make it sound good.
"I'll bring you one and matching underwear." Savannah said.
Savannah was pretty sure CamNet wanted to see her topless and probably naked. She saw CamNet both ways earlier. She knew CamNet lacked the courage to do more at this time. She was very much like Cameron in this regard. She really wasn't sure why there was always hesitation.
She'd sent a clear signal to CamNet. She thought she'd 'knocked' pretty loud. She figured they didn't call them 'knockers' for nothing. She'd used them in the literal sense.
She quickly put her bra and top on. CamNet stood wearing only her underwear and watched her.
Savannah collected her weapons and moved closer to CamNet. The inner bunker door already started to open.
"You really love her." CamNet said. "Don't you."
Savannah loved Cameron more than anything. She loved Young Allison as much as well.
"I do." Savannah said.
Savannah moved up and gave CamNet a close tight hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"I'll be back." Savannah said.
CamNet didn't think Cameron knew how lucky she was to have Savannah love her.
"She's very lucky." CamNet said as Savannah headed out. "She doesn't know it."
Savannah wasn't sure what went through Cameron's mind when they were almost together. Maybe she should ask CamNet why she hesitated. It would most likely be for the same reason why Cameron always did. She didn't want to think about that anymore. She wanted CamNet to decide what she really wanted for next time.
"You really think about what you want and we'll do it." Savannah said as she headed for the first blast door. "You're the decider."
The inner blast door was already closing as Savannah hurried out.
CamNet watched the inner blast door close completely. She wondered why she didn't do more. It was clear Savannah wanted more. She also noted that Savannah didn't push on her much. Savannah did knock to make her intentions clear but that was all she did. She better understood why Savannah hadn't progressed the relationship with Young Allison further than it had gone at this point. It was clear that Savannah cared more about the people she was with than her own personal desires. She thought that said something about her compared to most of the people in the world.
Cammy was notified Savannah was on her way up.
She headed to the carpool and picked an SUV. She knew Savannah would be out shortly.
Cammy started the SUV. She got back out and checked the weapons available. She was satisfied.
Savannah ran out.
"Hi, Savannah." Cammy said.
"Hi, Cammy." Savannah said with a smile.
That smile touched Cammy every time. It was very pleasant to look at a smiling face, especially Savannah's.
Savannah gave Cammy a quick hug and a kiss and they hopped inside and headed out.
Jesse and Gail were getting ready to head out.
Gail wanted to celebrate with Jesse because she'd given her a heart. She knew that special occasions were supposed to be celebrated.
Jesse saw Gail get a message. A look of worry soon showed on Gail's face.
"What is it, love?" Jesse asked.
Gail wanted to spend time with Jesse but it didn't look like it was going to happen. There was something else that was urgent that needed to be dealt with.
"CamNet has asked for my assistance." Gail said.
Jesse had planned to do some things with Gail. She could see Gail was conflicted but also very concerned.
"Is it about Savannah?" Jesse asked.
Gail tried not to worry.
"Yes." Gail said.
Jesse wanted Savannah protected as well.
"Go." Jesse said.
Gail wanted to respond to back up Savannah. She also wanted to celebrate with Jesse. She felt very bad about needing to leave but she felt the need to leave as well.
"We were going to celebrate." Gail said. "I want to show and share my appreciation and love with you for giving me a heart."
Jesse thought about what they'd just finished.
"I think you did that about twelve times." Jesse said. "I lost track after eight. I know that there were more after that but I don't remember a whole lot. You took me to a very high level of pleasure. I appreciate that."
Gail always kept track of how many times she could satisfy Jesse.
"It was fourteen times." Gail said.
Jesse was pleased to hear that. She'd planned to celebrate with Gail. They didn't go out much but they were going to go out. That wasn't going to happen now. Maybe it could still happen. She felt the need to do more as well. Now was the time.
"No wonder I lost track. Maybe I can go with you." Jesse said. "That would show our appreciation. I want to help protect Savannah too."
Gail was worried about Jesse now.
"I don't want you injured." Gail said. "Precious may need you."
Jesse looked down at her breasts.
"I hope Vanna is good to go." Jesse said. "Precious is going to have to wait a little while…."
Gail thought maybe she needed to show restraint the next time.
"I think I got a little carried away." Gail said. "I'm sorry."
Jesse wanted to go with Gail but it didn't look like it was going to happen without causing several different problems. She shrugged her shoulders and smiled.
"It happens." Jesse said. "Go on, love. Go protect our girl."
Jesse gave Gail a deep kiss.
Gail headed out.
Jesse watched her go. It was clear that Gail still loved her. It was just a question if Gail loved Savannah more. She really didn't know how that could play out in any kind of a positive manner for anyone. Sometimes life was complicated when it didn't need to be.
John watched Young Allison. He saw a look of frustration on her face.
"What is it?" John asked.
It wasn't what Young Allison wanted to see. Earlier she'd been a little upset that Savannah had gone to see CamNet. Now she wished that Savannah was still there with CamNet. Savannah would be much safer inside of CamNet's bunker then where she was headed. She thought it was kind of strange how feelings could rapidly change so quickly. It was really all a matter of perspective but in this case also safety.
"Savannah and Cammy are on their way to assist Cameron." Young Allison said.
John let out a slow breath. He was frustrated as well.
"You knew they would be headed there soon." John said.
Young Allison didn't expect it to be this fast.
"I guess I did." Young Allison said. "I'd hoped otherwise."
John wanted to see what Young Allison would do next. He wanted to see how she would play everything.
"Now what?" John asked. "What's next?"
Young Allison already contemplated a number of scenarios. None of them actually mattered until Cameron made a determination. There was no idea what would be at the location and what it would reveal. There was a chance that everything they were doing was for nothing. That would actually be the best scenario. Past experience dictated otherwise.
"We wait for Cameron to make an assessment." Young Allison said.
John felt there was a formidable force for a recon.
"She has five Terminators, Savannah and four drones to back her up now." John said. "That's more than I can get her to have."
John Henry didn't want anyone to feel complacent. They needed to know more first.
"We still don't know what we are dealing with." John Henry said.
Young Allison saw it a little simpler.
"We are dealing with Skynet in some form. We're dealing with the enemy." Young Allison said. "That's all we need to know."
John Henry picked up a new tracker on the move.
"Gail is on the map." John Henry said.
Young Allison felt a little concern.
"Where's Jesse?" Young Allison asked.
John Henry detected her in her room.
"She's still here." John Henry said.
John had been watching Young Allison work. He hadn't noticed when Gail was dispatched.
"Did you send Gail?" John asked. "I didn't see that."
Young Allison didn't like separating lovers.
"I asked CamNet to make sure Savannah was protected." Young Allison said. "I'll take all the help she can send. I don't like that Gail needed to be pulled away from Jesse but the operation needs to be protected as well as the individuals who are headed there."
John wondered what else that statement would bring out in response.
Sheila and Ally had hurried to the rendezvous point.
"I see Cameron up ahead." Sheila said. "She's waiting for us."
Ally hoped Cameron would be pleased to see them since they would arrive before Savannah.
"Cameron knows Savannah is coming now." Ally said. "She knows Savannah doesn't like her to operate alone."
Sheila didn't understand how Cameron operated sometimes. They went with her often on her 'off the books' operations. They would go with her for any Resistance matter anytime as well if they knew about it in advance.
"We're here to assist her." Sheila said. "All she needs to do is ask."
Ally was sure Sheila often rubbed Cameron the wrong way. She thought there was a little more to it sometimes. Sheila always had a way of making her presence known, in one way or another.
"I think you get on her 'electrons'." Ally said. "Her 'nerves', like you do on mine."
Sheila looked over at Ally and smiled. She didn't see it as a big deal. Her mind was already on what would happen later on.
"I like to have a little fun." Sheila said. "Maybe after this is over and if it turns out to be nothing we can hook up with Cammy and Savannah."
Ally didn't want them to get ahead of themselves. There was a present danger to deal with first. Fun could come later.
"Maybe we should be thinking about what if this turns hot instead." Ally said. "It could."
Sheila knew that she needed to refocus. The potential for combat was very real. If this was something that dealt with the Fanatics, it could turn very explosive very quickly.
"You're right." Sheila said. "We need to make sure Savannah is protected."
Allie wanted to make sure but everyone was protected. She also knew why they were sent. They were originally sent to back up Cameron. It was clear that someone wanted that done as well.
"We are here to protect Cameron too. THAT is what Savannah wants." Ally said. "Remember that."
Remember That
It's been said to do unto others
As you would have others do unto you
Is that a reality that matters
Or just words to live up to
Most people seem to think
That rule doesn't apply to them
It makes it a little easier
To create chaos and mayhem
Maybe a few of them are unintentional
Most don't seems to be
Some of the things that happen
Are not always easy to foresee
Maybe it's better to do unto others
Before they're able to do them to you
It seems better to overpower
Than let the other subdue
Don't expect one to chitchat
When the other seeks combat
No one wants to be a doormat
The other better remember that
Nobody
