LET'S GET DANGEROUS!
Under The Sea.
Eight years ago in the world of Arendelle...
Before Aiden met Elsa and came to be with her family. Everyone knows that he spent the first three years living on that world. Wondering around as a homeless boy and a armored explorer. Looking for a way back home to Radiant Garden by using the Chamber Of Renewal, which will soon be known as the Mav Club.
Needless to say, getting to that point was the biggest struggle in Aiden's early life. Because no matter what ancient ruins and or uncharted temple he found. He was never there as he hoped. It was always bringing him one step closer. But never there.
This one particular temple he found in the ruins of Denmark.
The one evening. The Maverick flew under water while Groot followed him under water by swimming fast. Using his legs like jet propellers. Because Groot is a Flora Colossus, he doesn't require oxygen to survive. He doesn't need to breathe at all being a tree. Which made Maverick's job of looking for the chamber much more easy. Since Maverick's suit allows him to breathe.
The last clue from a Celtic ruins in Iceland told Maverick to come here at these exact coordinates.
Maverick swam up to the front of a temple and grinned. "This is it Groot." Maverick said to Groot underwater.
The underwater temple was a large structure on the sea bed floor. The temple had a blue coloring to it from being under water. It also had several floors, with the floors shrinking in size as they go up, almost like a pyramid. The front of the temple looked like a monstrous face, with the entrance to the temple looking like a giant open mouth, with two windows above it looking like square eyes, and spikes and triangular structures by the entrance looking like teeth.
"Sheesh. This place looks like a cheap outsource prop." Maverick muttered.
"I am Groot?" Groot asked.
"Yeah only Indiana Jones saw places like this on land. Let's hope this doesn't end up in Lara Croft territory." Maverick answered and shuddered before he flew in. "Come on."
"I am Groot." Groot nodded.
So they both swam in and landed into the tunnel way that looked like a stone hall. Pretty soon as they walked down and Maverick's was using his suit like an indoor light stick. As he looked around at the hieroglyphs of what looked to be Mermaids on the stone images.
" Do you ever wonder. Since mermaids don't have any private gems to cover. How do they have sex?" Maverick inquired looking at the images.
For a seven year old boy. Aiden had the humor of a grown comedic actor.
"I am Groot." Groot shook his head, sighing.
"Granted. You don't have anything to cover either. Unless you're hiding any twigs under the bark." Maverick remarked.
After an uncomfortable conversation about tree and fish anatomy. They made it to the end of the hall and saw some stairs leading up to a chamber that was out of the water.
"Damn it. I was hoping for booby traps and split second timing." Maverick muttered as they went towards the stairs.
They went up the stairs and out of the water, when Maverick's mask detected not only fresh air coming from way over the other side of the temple. But he and Groot also saw some kind of cosmic energy phasing across the walls. And light coming from the end.
"I am Groot?" Groot asked what this stuff was.
"It's some kind of quantum phase shift." Maverick stated with intrigue as he poked the stuff with a finger. "And I don't mean the stuff you get for smoking weed. More like a quintessential shift between two points in space. Which means...This place is connected to another world."
Maverick hoped that meant he could go home finally.
"I am Groot? Groot wondered. Translate: "Do you think this place can take us to Radiant Garden?"
"Only one way to find out Pal." Maverick said as they walked on further.
Once they reached the end. Maverick and Groot found the center of the temple's interior.
The main chamber was a large room with murals of the ocean painted on the walls and ceiling. And Greco-Roman art of Mermaids. Unfortunately they were also naked in the images like most art from Italy.
"What is it with Michelangelo and naked people? Were clothes considered felony back then?" Maverick inquired humorously.
"I am Groot?" Groot inquired at Maverick.
"I don't know if Michelangelo painted this place. I was just paraphrasing." Maverick rolled his eyes.
Then they both gasped when they saw a large golden medallion standing on a pedestal.
"Jackpot!" Maverick ran over and was about to pick it up.
Groot stopped him by extending his arm and stopped Aiden by grabbing his shoulder.
"What?!" Maverick groaned and turned to Groot.
"I am Groot." Groot told him to wait as she made Maverick stand behind him.
Then Groot extended both arms and he grabbed the large golden medallion. Once he removed took. He brought his arms back quickly before large spikes quickly extended around the pedestal and wall area near it.
Maverick stood by in shock and whistled being impressed.
"Whoever built this place wasn't paid enough. Nice job Groot." Maverick smiled as Groot handed him the medallion.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
The sound of a child screaming in terror made them both flinch.
"I am Groot?" Groot asked what was that.
"Come on!" Maverick ran towards where the screaming came from.
The tree and armored keyblader ran until they made it to the south corridor of the ancient temple. Which was several yards long, with stone columns with ancient carvings on each one. The floor itself was a cobblestone design. And at the end of the room, was another path, with a window at the top of the path.
Around the area were Dark Monger droids knocking over pillars as they were chasing after three little boys who were running and screaming. On blond. On red head and another with black hair. Two of the boys had on some casual commoner outfits on while the boy with black hair had on what appeared to be some royal attire.
They were screaming and running for their lives while the Dark Monger droids chased them.
"HELP US!" The red head screamed.
"Stand the hell back you junkyard crap stains!" Maverick roared as he and Groot jumped toward the Dark Mongers and clashed with them.
Maverick had his keyblade out as he slashed and cut through several droids, gaining all of their attention. But the two other boys looked and saw that their dark haired friend was trapped. A stone pillar had him trapped under a small crevice that had him squeezed in tight.
"ERIC!" The blonde boy screamed and ran for him.
"I'm okay! But I'm stuck!" The boy named Eric called out to his friends as they tried moving the stone, while ignoring the action behind them.
"It's no use! It's too heavy!" The red headed boy grunted as he and the blond boy tried to move the broken stone block out of the way.
"Go get help!" Eric suggested to find someone to come in and remove the stone pillar.
They didn't know to trust Maverick. So the two boys nodded and ran for the exit.
Flashback on pause...
"So we clashed for a while those refurbished Manhunters. The boys ran off to go get help, not that they needed to. But I didn't blame them. They were just kids." Aiden told Ariel and the others.
"Did those boys bring back help?" Ariel asked.
"They did." Aiden grimly stated before he resumed. "And it caused that boy a big deal."
Flashback resumed...
Maverick twirled and slashed at multiple Dark Monger droids while Groot smashed them with his wooden arms in the shape of hammers. Pounding them like the junk pile they were.
But as Maverick and Groot were thinning out the threat.
"ERIK?!" The sound of a woman calling entered the temple. Maverick turned and saw a woman and man following her as they ran in.
Maverick concluded that these were that trapped boy's parents.
"Mommy! Daddy! I'm under here!" Eric called to them.
"Hang on Son!" Eric's father called.
Maverick's eyes widened and yelled to them. "WAIT!"
Suddenly a large Dark Monger brute came out of nowhere behind the parents as they turned and screamed in horror.
Maverick and Groot ran to stop the brute. But then they got piled on by so many Dark Monger droids. Holding them down in a dog pile.
"Uuugh!" Maverick grunted as he tried to pull himself out.
"I AM GROOT!" Groot Roared as he tries to push the pile of Dark Mongers off of himself.
Suddenly the Dark Monger brute was heading towards Maverick. But it was about to stomp on Eric who was still trapped.
Seeing that his son was about to die. Eric's father and mother picked up rocks and threw them at the Dark Monger brute.
"HEY! OVER HERE!" Eric's father waved and called it's attention.
The Dark Monger Brute turned and ran for them as they ran from it. Leading it away from their son.
Finally Maverick caused a neon wave of energy to burst out of himself. Knocking all of the Dark Monger troops and droids out of the way. Including the ones that were on Groot.
They ran to go help Eric's parents. But they the time they made it to where they ran on the other end of the Corridor.
Maverick witnessed the horror as the Dark Monger Brute cornered the parents. And before he could do anything. The Monger Quickly brought it's giant steel fists down.
"AAAAAAAHHHHH!" The Parents screamed.
*SMASH!*
The Dark Monger Brute without warning, and without a way to get to them on time, smashed them. And killed them.
"NO!" Maverick bellowed as he zoomed in and smashed through the Dark Monger Brute. Impaling his keyblade right through the chest of the Dark Monger Brute. Taking it out complete as it fell sideways.
Thus ending the fight.
Maverick looked down at the parent's bodies. Or what was left of them. The bodies couldn't even be recognized. The sight would've made his stomach wretch. But he had seen worse over time. Maverick shook his head while Groot looked just as horrified.
"Hello?! Is anyone there?! I need help!" Eric called out from where he was trapped at the back of the Corridor.
"Stay here Groot." Maverick told his friend as he didn't want the boy to be scared by a talking tree.
Maverick ran over to Eric and picked up the stone that had him trapped underneath. Eric appeared to be around 9 years old, maybe ten. So he's pretty young to even tell that his parents were dead.
"Are you okay?" Maverick bent down to Eric's hight and helped the boy up.
"Yes. Thank you." The boy smiled at his hero.
"What's your name kiddo?" Maverick asked.
Ironic that he would call Eric 'kiddo' considering that he's a kid too. Young then Eric in fact. But he sure doesn't feel that young.
"Eric." The boy answered and asked. "Where's my Mom and Dad?"
Maverick looked conflicted. How could he tell him? Eric couldn't see their bodies since they were standing on another side of the corridor.
"They...Uh...They'll be right back. And they…..Wanted me to stay with their little Prince until they do." Maverick lied.
"Are they okay?" Eric asked looking afraid.
Maverick sighed and decided to do the one thing he knew he had to do. In addition to bending and creating neon. Maverick also has the ability to use neon to neurologically interface with a person's mind.
"Eric. If you would look right into my hand. You'll get all the answers you'll ever need to know." Maverick stated as he held the out his hand to Eric. And the boy looked directly at the glowing blue and green light in his hand. Then the light flashed right before Eric's eyes. Wiping out the memories of his parents. The boy will now remember everything but his parents.
Then the boy looked at Maverick with a curious expression.
"You're parents were heroes Eric." Maverick stated as he was giving him only one thing to remember.
"Really?" Eric smiled up at Maverick.
"Definitely." Maverick nodded as he placed a hand on Eric's shoulder.
"Eric?! Are you down here?!" Grimsby was calling Eric from outside.
"That's Grimsby! He came for me!" Eric gasped with excitement.
"That's good. When you meet up with him. Hand him this. But don't read it. That will be for him to read." Maverick said firmly and gently to the boy as he handed Eric a blue neon letter that was folded.
Maverick formed it immediately as it was to tell Grimsby everything. And to not tell Eric if he's ever able to grow up without any damage done in his life.
"See you around Kid." Maverick said to Eric before they both left.
Flashback ended...
"So me and Groot got out of there and destroyed the entry way. So that the Mongers couldn't cross over into this world. I knew this world didn't have the Chamber of Renewal. So I stayed on my side of the fence while this kid." Aiden gestured up at Eric. "He stayed up on his side."
After telling the tale of how Aiden knew Eric, everyone was silent. Victoria had on a neutral face, but her eyes showed sympathy. Kairi wore a sad expression. Ariel was in tears.
"Oh, Eric." Ariel whimpered as tears fell from her eyes.
"It must have been tough for him, not having his parents around, or knowing what happened to them." Kairi whispered, making Aiden flinch slightly because he was the reason Eric doesn't remember.
"At least he had someone looking out for him." Victoria said, which made Aiden remember how he was lucky to have Groot with him at the time, looking out for him.
"Maybe. But still..." Ariel started, now looking towards Eric. "I know what it's like to lose a mother. I don't know how terrible it would be to lose both your parents."
"I did everything I could. It was one of those point and click moments. I don't know if I made the right call or not. But that kind of, heavy amount of grief and turmoil nearly caused me to commit suicide when I found my mom's corpse hunched up in a corner." Aiden stated grimly as he looked at them. "How do you tell a child that his parents were brutalized and were not coming back? Whoever can answer that with a point blank reasonable answer is a heartless horror film director. Don't ask what that means Sea Breeze, you're too pure for some of my references."
"It's okay Aiden no one is blaming you." Victoria said, putting her hand on his shoulder, giving it a comforting squeeze. "You were only trying to help him."
"Yeah. You were only seven. And faced a difficult decision. I think you did okay." Kairi said with an encouraging smile.
"They're right." Ariel said, getting their attention. "You had nothing but the best intentions in your actions. And Eric seems to have become an amazing person in the end. So I have to say, thank you, for protecting him, and giving him a chance at a better future." Ariel finished with a genuine smile.
Aiden could only nod as he appreciated the girls for understanding.
"Alright. But if anybody asks. This is why I never used those neon, mind bending powers again. God I need a better name for it." Aiden sighed.
"Mind quake?" Kairi thought of an idea.
"That's not bad." Victoria remarked.
"Just know this Sea Breeze. Don't fall in love with him because you want to fill in an empty space. Because I can tell he has one too. Love him for what he his. And give him something he never had. Because love isn't just a word. It's an action." Aiden stated with a firm look and words of wisdom. "Because of that. You're going to struggle. Because you'll try to fill in an empty space inside him that no one can fill. But in the end. If you continue to walk with Eric. You'll both find the one thing you couldn't on your own."
"What's that?" Ariel asked.
"Closure." Aiden and Victoria said at the same time. Since they had the same walk.
"Jinx." Victoria smirked saying the J word first.
"Damn it." Aiden muttered as his girlfriend got one over him.
Ariel giggled a little at their humor before she looked up at Eric who was leaving the bridge. She had a sad look on her face and looked down.
"I don't think Daddy will understand. This will disappoint him if he ever finds out-" Ariel almost finished.
"This isn't your father's walk. It's yours. 'Honor Your Father and Mother' maybe a must not break rule. But Eric would've died if you hadn't swam up here and saved him from that ship." Victoria stated.
"You didn't break the rule of never coming up here to attack your father." Kairi stated. "You did it, because you didn't deny your dream. And that dream is telling you that Eric needs you."
"Sure he may become angry and disappointed. But take it from a dude that makes his own rules. There's no rule that says that all family has to have the same dream. Families change. And the best ones, grow stronger because of those changes." Aiden spoke out of wisdom.
Ariel's eyes widened at this, beginning to understand. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, she reopened her eyes, a new determination in them.
"You're right, again. Daddy will be upset. But I know he will still love me." Ariel said, looking back towards Eric. "Which is why I will continue to chase my dream, because I know I will regret it more if I don't."
Aiden nodded as the gestured to them. "Come on. The others will wonder where we've been." He suggested for them to swim back.
Since Eric already left. Ariel saw no reason to stick around. It's not like she can walk over to him. So she and the others swam back towards Atlantica.
Back down below the Undersea Courtyard...
As Aiden, Victoria, Baby Groot, Kairi, and Ariel made it back to the undersea courtyard, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Flounder swam up to them.
"Hey guys welcome back." Sora said to his friends.
"Yo Spike. I take it there was no trouble to miss out on down here?" Aiden asked Sora.
"Nope, no trouble for as far as the eye can see." Sora said.
"Looks like Ariel is looking better." Donald said, noticing Ariel seemed happier.
"Yes, I'm feeling much better now, thanks to you guys." Ariel said, addressing those who went with her to the surface.
"Happy to help cheer you up." Kairi said smiling.
"Speaking of which." Goofy started, getting their attention. "We'd like all of ya to come with us, especially Ariel."
"Yeah, we've got something to show you!" Sora said with a smile.
"Sure. But what is it?" Ariel asked curious.
"Uh uh uh. It's a surprise!" Donald wagged his finger playfully.
"Yeah come on Ariel. Come on!" Flounder said, getting her to follow him.
"Well you heard the fish fry, let's go." Aiden said, he and the others following after the Atlantica natives.
Ariel's Secret Grove…...
"Flounder, why can't you guys just tell me what this is all about?" Ariel said as she and the guardians followed Flounder, Sora, Donald, and Goofy into her grove.
"You'll see. It's a surprise." Flounder said back.
"Just wait for it. And... Tada!" Sora said, he, Donald, Goofy, and Flounder gesturing to the center of the cave, causing the others, especially Ariel to gasp at the sight.
Standing there, is the stone statue of Prince Eric. The sight brought a huge smile to Ariel.
"Oh guys, you're the best!" Ariel said before swimming around the statue, to get a good look at every detail, before swimming up to the face of the status. "It looks just like him. It even has his eyes."
"Sora, where did you find this?" Kairi asked, swimming close to her best friend.
"Flounder found this thing underneath a giant rock close to a shipwreck." Sora explained to his friends. "He said this would cheer her up. So I used one of my new spells to lift the rock up off the statue and brought it here."
"The Magnera spell? Spike are you hiding any tricks I should know about? Is there one that can make me funny?" Aiden inquired while hiding a smile.
"Uh well..." Sora tried to find a way to respond.
"Relax I'm just screwing with you Spike. Who needs a magic trick when you can do it yourself?" Aiden remarked humorously.
"I'd ask for the spell if I were you." Victoria deadpanned humorously.
"Oh buuuurn!" Aiden quipped with a balled hand to his mouth like he was beat boxing.
Ariel brought her ear to the side of the statue's head, as if listening for something.
"Why, Eric, run away with you?" Ariel spoke as if she was talking to Eric, a big smile on her face as she playfully gasped. "My... This is all so - so sudden."
"And we've lost her." Victoria said with a grin.
"I think it's cute." Kairi beamed.
"Psst. Watch this." Aiden whispered to the other Guardians, getting their attention before using his neon powers to make the lips of the statue look like they're moving, before throwing his voice, to make it seem that the statue was talking.
"Ah Mon chéri. C'est le coup de foudre n'est-ce pas, no? You are my peanut, I am your brittle. Do not come with me to the casbah. We will make beautiful music together, right here." Aiden mimics the french accent of a cartoon skunk while having the lips make smacking noises together.
This catches Ariel off guard, making her yelp and back up before realizing what happened, and started to giggle, while the Flounder and the Guardians began to laugh.
"Aiden!?" Ariel laughed and whined at the same time. "Why would you do that?!"
"Sorry Sea Breeze. Can't have you too happy now, can we? I'll swing if you tee yourself up!" Aiden laughed.
While Aiden was busy laughing. He didn't notice Ariel tossed a ball at Aiden, smacking him on his forehead as he stopped laughing. Aiden looked down to see that Ariel hit his head with a small rubber red ball. The kind people use to place catch.
Then they looked to see Ariel having a mischievous smirk of victory.
"Well look at that, I caught you off guard." Ariel said smugly. "I guess the great Maverick isn't as smooth as he-"
*Puff*
Ariel cried out in surprise when she felt something cold hit her face. She looked to see Aiden smirking, a snowball forming in his hand.
"You were saying Sea Breeze?" Aiden asked all smug before throwing the other snowball at her. But seeing it coming, she dodged and looked back, her smile now devious.
"It's on now." Ariel smirked.
"It would seem." Aiden said before using his ice power to create snow on the ground before shouting humorously. "SNOWBALL FIGHT YALL!"
Everyone laughed as they took sides. Sora took Ariel's side along with Kairi and Donald. While Baby Groot, Goofy and Victoria took Aiden's side.
Then a longhorn sound through Ariel's secret grove as they started tossing snowballs at each other.
10 minutes later….
After so many playful antics and onslaught of snow and fun. Aiden's team was getting the upper hand on Sora and Ariel's team.
Aiden took cover behind a corner at one point and called out to them.
"Just so you know! I only got two rounds! So your gonna have to share!" Aiden called out among the laughter.
"Ha! You're suicidal Aid! How are you gonna- Oof!" Sora recoiled as he was knocked back by a soft but solid snowball that flew around in circles knocking everyone who was on the other team down down.
"Fatality." Aiden mimicked in a deep voice before he stood triumphant over them and Victoria stood next to him along with the others on Aiden's team.
"Yahoo! We won!" Goofy cheered with his turtle fins in the air.
"I am GROOOOOOOOT!" Baby Groot cheered in excitement.
"Game. Set. Match." Victoria smirked before she wrapped her arms around his neck and they shared a victory kiss
"Ah, victory sure is sweet, is it not?" Aiden said in a French accent after ending the kiss.
"Hey! That's not fair!" Donald complained about the loss.
"For once I agree with Donald. You have an unfair advantage with your ice powers!" Sora complained slightly.
"It was almost like it was rigged." Kairi pouted cutely, Ariel doing the same.
"Mhm. Sour grapes much? I'm just the Prince of snowball beatdowns." Aiden said smugly. "You'd last even less against my Mom. She's the literal Queen of snow covered tail whoopins."
"Your mother?" Ariel asked looking confused. "I thought you said your mother died."
"My birth mother, yes. But I'm talking about the one who took me in over seven years ago." Aiden explained. "Her name is Elsa. She's the queen of the Kingdom that took me, and my ice powers came from her."
Ariel grew curious as she sat down and Aiden told her his story.
"It all started at a royal ball, a wedding announcement and foreign semantics. When I was eight years old. In a place called Arendelle." Aiden began telling her as everyone sat down. They enjoyed hearing this again.
Half an hour later... (Redundant to fast forward time again in the same place. I know, but who asked you?)...
"And so one wedding later, with an Alien King and a Snow Queen. It wasn't smooth sailing but it was a wonder. And a year later after more final frontiers and weird crap that writes itself. I meet up with this weirdo anime mascot over here with the face of a puppy and the voice of a smaller less threatening puppy." Aiden remarked at Sora while ending the tale.
"Hey!" Sora exclaimed, sounding offended. "At least you're not forced to team up with a crazy hyena!"
"And don't you forget it." Aiden said pompously, making Ariel giggle before taking on a somber look.
"That's quite the tale you've told me. I'm sorry you had such a rough beginning." she starts before smiling for the next bit. "But I'm glad you were able to find such a loving family."
Aiden nodded and smiled before looking at Ariel. "Well. You have one too." He stated.
Ariel looked down and frowned a little bit. "I...Don't know about that." He sighed. Thinking about her father.
"Your father doesn't understand that's for sure. But all of his limitations don't come from hate for you." Aiden stated.
Ariel wasn't sure about that yet. But it was enough for her to look off and lose her frown.
"I have to ask. Who collects a bunch of dirty socks next to bent bottle caps?" Aiden inquired about some stuff he saw in her collection.
"These are all the things I found that came from the surface." Ariel said, gesturing towards all her treasures. "Each and every single boggle here, helps me to better understand the human world better. Like this."
Ariel holds up a fork.
"A fork?" Sora inquired
"A fork? My friend Scuttle, who teaches me things about the human world, said it was a dinglehopper." Ariel said. "He told me humans used it to twirl their hair up."
After saying this, All of the off-worlders in the cove looked at Ariel like she had two heads.
"Okay. First off, that which we call a fork, is used to bring food up to our mouths, for eating. Second, I think at some point, I should give you a few lessons on human history." Aiden said humorously. "Or maybe a telescope to spy on them. And third, if I ever meet this friend of yours, I'm gonna ask to see his teaching degree."
"Well, Scuttle was the only one willing to teach me about these things. Daddy certainly wouldn't. But sometimes I just don't understand why." Ariel sighed, thinking deeply. "I mean, you guys are humans, and it's obvious that you are all kinds of people."
"Your father's fears aren't entirely unfounded." Victoria admitted. "There are some people out there who are capable of doing terrible things."
"Maybe, but as a whole, I don't think humans are evil. Not all of them. I mean." Ariel started, gesturing to the fork in her hands. "How can beings who can make such wonderful things, be so bad?"
All of a sudden, the guardians start to hear music coming from nowhere.
"Oh boy. Fantasia's at it again. Lights. Camera. Action." Aiden deadpanned a quip.
"Look at this stuff~ Isn't it neat?~ Wouldn't you think my collections complete?~ Wouldn't you think I'm the girl, girl who has everything?~" Ariel sang as she put up the fork and gestured around at her collection of utensils.
"Well..." Sora commented while rubbing the back of his neck looking weirdly at the collection before Ariel went on.
"Look at this trove, treasures untold~ How many wonders can one cavern hold?~" Ariel sang as she looked around her collection. "Looking around here you'd think~ Sure, she's got everything!~"
"Actually I was thinking about Jonathan and Drew Scott, but go ahead." Aiden quipped about how much of Ariel's collection would look like clutter to some.
"I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty~" Ariel sang as she fiddled with some watches and necklaces. "I've got whozits and whatzits galore~"
Donald Duck staggered a bit looking through some glasses.
"You want thingamabobs? I've got twenty~" Ariel sang showing Baby Groot a case pull of bottle cap openers.
"I am Groot?" Baby Groot asked, looking skeptical that there's no price that on those thingamabobs. Translate: "How much?"
Ariel giggled even though she didn't know what he asked, before her smile dropped as she looked back and continued singing.
"But who cares?~ No big deal~ I want mooooooooooore~" Ariel passionately sang as she leaned over and looked up at a hole in the cove towards the surface.
The others stayed silent as they listened. Even Sebastian was listening and looked nervous as this was getting her closer to her passion about going up on land.
"I wanna be where the people are~ I wanna see, wanna see them dancing~" Ariel sang as she looked at a porcelain dance couple statuette. "Walking around on those What do you call 'em?"
"Feet." Kairi mused as she smiled and enjoyed the singing.
"Oh, feet." Ariel beamed as she played with Founder's fins.
"Flipping your fins you don't get too far~" Ariel sang as she swam around. "Legs are required for jumping, dancing~" Ariel grabbed Flounder's fin and began swaying her hips as she swam. "Strolling along down a- What's that word again?"
"Street." Victoria whispered, making Ariel beam.
"Street?~" Ariel said, letting go of Flounder and swimming upwards aa she sang. "Up where they walk, up where they run!~ Up where they stay all day in the sun!~ Wandering free!~ Wish I could be, part of that WOOOOOOOOOORLD!~"
Ariel's singing gave everyone chills as they listened and watched on. While Sebastian hung his head in disapproval and despair.
"What would I give if I could live~ Out of these waters?~ What would I pay to spend a day~ Warm on the sand?~" Ariel sang as she leaned back on the sandy floor with her hands behind her head like she was relaxing.
While Goofy chuckled and buried himself under the sand.
Ariel turned on her side and wondered while singing.
"Betcha on land, they understand~ Bet they don't reprimand their daughters~" Ariel wondered in her song leaning to her side on the sand.
"You'd be surprised." Aiden muttered about those lyrics Ariel just sang, while holding up a DVD case of 'The Notebook'.
"Bright young women, sick of swimming~ Ready to staaaaaand!~" Ariel sang as she made a loop circle up towards her book while her voice and passion awestruck the guardians.
"Woah." Sora whispered seeing her loop.
"I'm ready to know what the people know~ Ask 'em my questions~" Ariel sang as she showed them books while turning pages before swimming up to a painting of a lady sitting next to a candle. While Ariel mimicked the lady's pose in the image. "And get some answers~ What's a fire and why does it- What's the word?~"
"Cook?" Goofy guessed.
"No burn!" Donald exclaimed at Goofy.
"Buuuuuurn! When's it my turn?~ Wouldn't I love~ Love to explore that shore up ABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!~" Ariel's singing voice gave them more chills as she reached up. Longing to be up there, and with Eric. And they all felt for her.
Then Ariel descended and looked down sadly as she sang softly. "Out of the sea~ Wish I could be~" Then she looked up."Part of that...Wooooooooooooooooorld~"
As the music made them all fully understand. The sea maybe beautiful under water. But being human is everything. Everything about life. Good and bad is in being human. The guardians understood it because they always walk on land. But Ariel, despite not experiencing the worst of humanity. She never seen or experienced the best of it. The young red headed mermaid never got to live life at its fullest. The true meaning of life.
How could anyone not want that?
Aiden sighed while the others gave her soft sympathetic looks.
"Time to be the hero." Aiden sighed as he pulled up his A.I. using his ring. "IRIS?"
'Yes Maverick.' IRIS answered.
"Give me an update on Project Cocoon." Aiden stated which peaked their interest.
'Downloading information now. This will take a minute.' IRIS replied.
"Project Cocoon? What's that?" Ariel asked looking interested.
"You see, whenever we travel to other worlds, we've often had to change our appearances, sometimes our species, in order to blend in. We've relied on Duckter Strange's magic to do so." Aiden said gesturing towards Donald. "But this new device I'm working on will not just do that, but give us the ability to change into that specific species at will, without the use of magic. And unlike Donald's magic which requires you to leave to another world in order to work, the Cocoon will work on people, on anyone. For any purpose, even if they're not going to another world."
"And that means?" Ariel asked, curiously..
"For instance, a human or any other sentient being on the surface could become something else, even something under water like a mermaid, a fish, or any other sea creature. While say, a mermaid, could become something else, I'm throwing so many hints. Come one Sea Breeze. Follow the signs, you can't miss it." Aiden quipped hinting at the big picture, which led to Ariel widening her eyes. The others widened their eyes, just as surprised as Ariel.
"Are you saying... You can turn me into a human?" Ariel asked, hope in her voice.
"Now you're on route." Aiden quipped and confirmed, leaning towards Ariel. "Interested Sea Breeze?"
Ariel's eyes were wide, and shaking. Before she closed them and gave her reply.
"YES!" Ariel screamed, throwing her arms around Aiden and hugging him hard while spinning around and making him choke. "THANK YOU! OH THANK YOU MUCH! YOU'RE AMAZING!"
"Ack…..You're welcome... Sea Breeze..." Aiden choked as he was having trouble breathing because of how strong Ariel was hugging him. "It's... Getting blurry... Elvis?... Is that you?... I'm coming Elvis..."
"Ariel, you might want to stop before you kill my boyfriend." Victoria grinned, getting her attention.
"Oops." Ariel said meekly before releasing Aiden, who began to breathe again. "Sorry Aiden."
"Don't worry Miss universe, you just almost had me meet the king." Aiden quipped, catching his breath. "Damn. Mermaids are strong."
Everyone shared a chuckle while Sebastian was listening in from the entrance. He had heard everything and he was sweating in flows like steamed seafood. Ariel is about to become human? This is the worst kind of report he could give to the king. He wouldn't survive his anger.
"So when can we have it ready?" Sora asked.
Aiden looked down at his ring to check. "One second...Okay IRIS just sent an update. We're looking maybe at tomorrow night, or even the day after at the most. Either way this thing is legit. The downside is that in it's current state once you've changed. The machine can't change you back." Aiden informed Ariel and the others. "That feature that's months. Possibly years to complete. Time you may not have."
"You mean. Ariel won't become a mermaid again?" Flounder looked down sadly while Sebastian quietly gasped from where he was hiding.
"I didn't say that Klaus Heisler." Aiden corrected which made Flounder perk up and made Sebastian sigh in relief. "Ariel can change back. But the machine in its former condition can only change someone once. The only way she can change back is with someone else's magic. Like maybe Donald's magic, but his metamorphosis trick only works within limits."
"Hey!" Donald glared at Aiden for that remark.
"But the only safe guarantee for you to change back is, well. King Triton's triton." Aiden concluded while speaking to Ariel.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot pointed out.
"You're right. Those two words do sound redundant together." Aiden remarked on the name Triton.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it." Sora assured them.
"I have to go through with it. For Eric's sake. And for me." Ariel accepted the risks.
Sebastian chattered his teeth in fear as he crawled away. "What am I gonna do?" He wheezed.
Later on in King Triton's palace...
King Triton sat in his throne overseeing his kingdom as he remained the symbol of Atlantica's power. And the intimidation of any foe. Including dishonest servants.
Speaking of dishonesty.
Sebastian remained composed while hiding his fear as he crawled up to King Triton's throne and looked up at the King.
"You're late Sebastian. Is something wrong?" King Triton asked.
"No, nothing, Your Majesty." Sebastian blurted out as he halted himself.
"That's good." King Triton was pleased as Sebastian swam up to him. "So, tell me. How is the song for the musical coming?"
"It is finished, Your Majesty!" Sebastian beamed. "And it celebrates all de wonderful things found here in de ocean. It will be my finest work."
"Will it get Ariel's mind off the human world?" King Triton hoped.
Sebastian swallowed and stuttered
"Er, yes...well...Probably...Possibly..." He saw the intimidating look on King Triton's face and imagined his death glare. Which made the crab force a big smile "I-I mean, most definitely! Excuse me Your Majesty, but must rehearse...you understand."
"Very well Sebastian. Good luck with your work." King Triton politely dismissed him.
When Sebastian swam off. His smile was replaced with a look of dread.
The next morning on the Starburst ship...
Sora and Aiden had beamed back up on the ship which shifted them back into their human forms and keyblader outfits. Then they both made their way into their engineering room. Aiden went on with typing on a terminal which operated productions all the way back to the Mav Club back home. As he was setting in commands and directives to step up development for the Cocoon. Since the machine was being automatically developed back at Aiden's secret lair.
"So what's the worst case scenario if this thing doesn't work?" Sora wondered.
"Doesn't work. Ha! That's rich." Aiden snickered while he was typing. "The worst case scenario is that it doesn't work and Ariel becomes a Red Lobster limited time exclusive, or King Triton finds out and turns us into Guardian Ka-bobs with his pitchfork."
"Forget I asked." Sora muttered thinking about how bad that would end.
"Already did." Aiden muttered back as he went on with working on his machine.
"Maybe we should tell him. I mean once the machine is ready to lower down the heat." Sora wondered.
"Well you're more than welcome to. And I'll make sure to alert the ICU. Control on Daddy issues ain't exactly part of our jurisdiction." Aiden quipped and stated.
"Still if we keep this a secret, there's probably gonna be fallout. Ariel would eventually have to say goodbye to either her home or her dream home." Sora pointed out.
"This isn't our secret to tell. Sea Breeze will have to come out with it either before or after she starts taking first steps. Literally." Aiden figured.
Which he was right about. It's Ariel's secret. So Ariel has to be the one to tell her father. And her family.
Back down in the Atlantica palace...
Up in the Princesses dressing tower. Ariel and her sisters were making preparations for today's musical. While all of the girls were doing each other's hair and putting on fragrant touch ups. Baby Groot was up with them. Keeping them company and getting company.
Baby Groot was sitting back and relaxing on a soft shell while all of the girls surrounded him like a baby in a crib. While the little tree smirked mischievously basking in the glory of these fine sea ladies.
"Oooooh he is just so cute!" Arista beamed with a big smile.
"I could just eat him up! I don't mean literally but...Gosh!" Aquata smiled down at him. While the other girls sighed.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot flirted with a two fingers salute which made them all giggle. Even if they didn't know what he just said.
"Aw! You sure are Cutie!" Adella smiled cheekily as she scratched his chin making Baby Groot sighed in contentment.
Meanwhile Ariel was using the dressing room behind some seaweed that serves as a curtain for privacy. While her sister Andrina is waiting.
"Ariel? Dear?" Andrina called to her. "Time to come out. You've been in there all morning."
Ariel finally came out of the dressing room, humming 'Part of Your World' and swam over to one of the mirrors and sat down in front of it and began doing her hair, still humming.
"What is with her lately?" Atina muttered as she and the other sisters looked on at Ariel.
After finishing her hair, she picks up a sea flower and began to swim off, accidentally bumping into King Triton.
"Oh. Morning, Daddy." She said putting the flower in his hair, Surprising him and making him chuckle slightly, as Ariel continued swimming off, humming all the while, while Triton and her sisters watched her leave.
"Oh, she's got it bad." Atina muttered out loud, getting King Triton's attention.
"What? What has she got?" Triton asked looking confused.
"Isn't it obvious, Daddy?" Andrina started, a big dreamy smile on her face and hands in front of her chest. "Ariel's in love."
"Ariel?" King Triton gasped, pulling the flower out of his hair and looking at it, a smile forming on his face. "In love?"
"I am Groot." Groot said, making the girls swoon, even though he actually said in translation: "Yeah, remember that smile when you learn who she likes, Pops."
Down at the Atlantica's Gardens...
Sebastian was pacing back and forth under a coral bush. Acting nervous and trying to find relief about this big secret.
"Okay So far, so good. I don't think da king knows. But it will not be easy keeping something like dis a secret for long." Sebastian muttered as he kept pacing.
While above him Ariel was leaning forward and a builder picking the petals off of a flower. Humming to herself as she was playing an old classic girl-crush game.
"He loves me...Hmm He loves me not." Ariel said that last part unamusingly. Before she picked the last one and gasped happily as she turned and hugged the last petal close . "He loves me! Haha... I knew it! Oh I can't wait to start walking soon."
Sebastian dashed up to her from under her tail fin imploring her.
"Ariel stop talking crazy!" Sebastian exclaimed but he was being ignored.
"I can't wait. I gotta see him again, tonight! Scuttle knows where he lives." Ariel got up and was about to swim off but Sebastian grabbed her tail trying to stop her. But he was being pulled off with her.
"Ariel. Please. Will you get your head out of the clouds and back in the water where it belongs?" Sebastian pleaded.
"I'll swim up to his castle. Then Flounder will splash around to get his attention, and then with-" Ariel was joyfully trying to plan it out until she realized. "No. It's best if I wait until I can walk up to him. So I can take it from his perspective. Once Aiden turns me human. He can definitely see me for who I am."
"Who you are is a mermaid girl. Down HERE is your home!" Sebastian swam up to her face as he tried to make her understand. "Ariel. listen to me. The human world, it's a mess. Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there."
Ariel amusingly sat back down and listened to Sebastian as the music started. Since he was rehearsing the next musical in this area. This was a perfect time for Fantasia to work it's magic and got him singing.
Baby Groot swam over and heard the music starting as he looked around. "I am Grooooot." He mused playfully saying 'This is getting weeeeird.
"The seaweed is always greener- In somebody else's lake~" Sebastian sang as he swam up to her and grabbed her chin to get her attention. "You dream about going up there~ But that is a big mistake~"
He gestured towards the ocean around them as he continued.
"Just look at the world around you~ Right here on the ocean floor~" Several yellow fish appeared and circled Ariel, making her float up. "Such wonderful things surround you~ What more is you lookin' for?~"
Sebastien slid and stopped at the bottom of the rock Ariel was sitting on a moment ago and began to dance smoothly.
"Under the sea!~ Under the sea!~ Darling it's better!~ Down where it's wetter!~ Take it from me!~" Sebastian jumped up to allow Ariel to sit down again, before landing on her lap to continue the song.
"Up on the shore they work all day!~" Sebastian sang, pretending to push a heavy load. "Out in the sun they slave away!~" Sebastian continued, pretending to swelter in the heat. "While we devotin'!~ Full time to floatin'!~" Sebastian jumped and catapulted off the end of Ariel's tail. "Under the sea!~"
Sebastian landed right next to a blue lobster, who was using oyster shells for a xylophone, and began playing on the xylophone shells with him as the two began to sing together.
"Down here all the fish is happy~ As off through the waves they roll~ The fish on the land ain't happy~ They sad 'cause they in their bowl~" They sang as a dolphin swam in loop and a droopy looking fish and a bubble floated up as an example of that last lyric.
Ariel looked concerned seeing the fish in the bubble wondering is this what humans do. Sure she was holding on to hope that not all are like that. But still.
"But fish in the bowl is lucky~ They in for a worser fate~ One day when the boss get hungry!~" Sebastian sang as he popped the bubble as the Droopy fish landed on a plant.
"Guess who's gon' be on the plate?~" The droopy fish sang.
"Under the sea~ Under the sea~ Nobody beat us~ Fry us and eat us~ In fricassee!~" Sebastian sang as he danced.
While Ariel leaned forward waving her fingers across a flower bed that turned out to be seahorses which surprised her but she giggled as they floated around her.
"We what the land folks loves to cook!~" Sebastian sang as he opened up a clam and shoved some fishing hooks underneath. "Under the sea we off the hook!~"
Then Sebastian dashed as the clam spat the hooks out and he ducked to avoid the hooks as he stood behind some snails.
"We got no troubles~ Life is the bubbles~ Under the sea (Under the sea)~ Under the sea (Under the sea)~" Sebastian sang as well as the snails each time they popped out of their shells.
Then Sebastian hops in the middle of the garden while standing on a pole shaped surface like an orchestrator and leads all the fish around to sing, dance and play instruments. While Baby Groot hung back and watched in awe.
"Since life is sweet here!~ We got the beat here!~ Naturally! (Naturally!)~ Even the sturgeon an' the ray!~ They get the urge 'n' start to play!~ We got the spirit~ You gotta hear it!~ Under the sea!~" Sebastian sang as he played the shell drums and everything was picking up with the catchy beats and all fish were playing and dancing while singing.
Then Sebastian pointed and instructed as all the fish played sea based instruments.
"The newt play the flute!~ The carp play the harp!~ The plaice play the bass!~And they soundin' sharp!~ The bass play the brass!~ The chub play the tub!~ The fluke is the duke of soul!~" Sebastian sang as everyone was arranged.
"Yeah." The Duke of soul stated, who was a fish with a trombone like instrument. While his resemblance was of a certain singer. Probably Gene Chandler
Then Sebastian sang on. "The ray he can play~ The lings on the strings~ The trout rockin' out The blackfish she sings~ The smelt and the sprat~ They know where it's at An' oh that blowfish blow!~" As every fish followed the lyrics and pattern.
As the fish were in a musical trance, Sora and Kairi, lead by Flounder, entered the area and began swimming through and around the many sea creatures lost to the music. Eventually, they spot Ariel, and swim to her, getting her Ariel.
"Pst. Ariel." Kairi whispered in her ear. "Come with us. The Cocoon is almost ready."
Ariel's face lit up with joy at this news, and nodded frantically before following Sora, Kairi, and Flounder as discreetly as possible, not to draw anyone's attention. Meanwhile, Sebastian and the other fish continued the song.
The fishes began a conga line and spin dancing everywhere. As schools of fish were picking up with the rhythm as Sebastian rode the school and joyfully resumed singing.
"Yeah, under the sea! (Under the sea!)~ Under the sea! (Under the sea!)~ When the sardine!~ Begin the beguine!~ It's music to me! (It's music to me!)~ What do they got?~ A lot of sand!~ We got a hot crustacean band!~ Each little clam here!~ Know how to jam here!~ Under the sea!~ Each little slug here!~ Cuttin' a rug here!~ Under the sea!~ Each little snail here!~ Know how to wail here!~ That's why it's hotter!~ Under the water ~ Ya we in!~ luck here!~ Down in the muck here~ UNDER THE SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEA!~" They all sang and danced before they pointed and gestured at the seat Ariel was sitting on.
But they all gasp to see that she's gone.
And as the other fishes shrugged and left. Sebastian looked and searched around. "Ariel?" He called and sighed looking down sadly "Somebody's got to nail dat girl's fins to da floor."
Back down at the shipwreck...
"So Aiden said to meet him back down here." Kairi stated as they swam over the sunken ships and debris.
"He said something about needing some kind of vital chemical compound." Sora explained as they swam back up to Eric's ship. "And he needed our help looking for it."
"Okay. But how will we know what it looks like when we-" Ariel almost asked as they swam up to Eric's sunken ship. Then Ariel gasped seeing the Maverick.
The armored warrior Maverick, who took no form to look like a mermaid as he was using his legs to float and swim.
Cause why would Maverick need to be a mermaid when he can breathe underwater as himself?
Maverick was looking around the shipwreck by moving and tossing large planks out of the way. He stood up and looked at his team and a frightened Ariel. Flounder looked just as scared.
"Woah woah. easy there Long John Duo. It's just me." Maverick said before shifting back into Aiden and his merman form, surprising Ariel and Flounder.
"Aiden?" Ariel asked in surprise. "What was that just now?"
"What you just saw was my Maverick form. It's something all the Mavericks before me can do. And By switching into this state, I become stronger, and older looking in appearance. And easier to take seriously." Aiden said before switching back to Maverick. "Plus this allows me to breathe underwater while doing some extra work."
"Oh. Well...Whew. That was a relief. I thought you were the phantom diver." Founder sighed in relief and wiped his forehead.
"The wha? Whether. I'm almost done with the instant humie machine. But there's only one more thing to look for before we can make Darwin suck it." Maverick remarked.
"And that is?" Victoria asked.
"Help me look for this list of chemicals." Maverick stated as he displayed the five names of chemical in neon letters.
"Uh...what's Hydroxyp- per..." Sora tried to pronounce.
"Ah ah ah! Don't try to pronounce them Spike. It's fatal for your edge." Maverick quipped as he told him to stop. "Just bring back any bottles you can find."
"You got it." Donald and Goofy nodded while they and Baby Groot began searching.
Victoria and Kairi went to search as well as Sora.
Ariel rubbed her arm looking down as she wanted to ask Maverick a question. But she wasn't sure what to say.
Maverick teleported around several places before he popped back up to wear Ariel was standing as he placed several machine bottles on the ground and read them carefully. He glanced up at Ariel before he resumed reading.
"Something on your mind Sea Breeze? You're not getting cold feet are you?" Maverick asked Ariel while he was searching
"Um...Cold feet?" Ariel asked, looking confused."I don't have feet yet."
"No, Ariana Grande. Cold feet is another term humans use for people who are losing confidence. Like leaving their wedding." Maverick quipped and explained. "You're not getting second thoughts about growing a pair...of legs are you?"
"No, of course not. I'm not turning back now." Ariel said firmly before getting slightly nervous. "But I do have one question. Is it true that humans eat sea creatures?"
Maverick thought for a moment before he resumed searching.
"Well I can't speak for all humanity. I'm not Jesus after all. But back on my world. Me and my family only eat creatures that don't have hearts or have any connections. It's what we have to do to stay alive." Maverick quipped and stated while looking. "But if that's what they're doing up there. It's only because they don't know any better. They can't hear the fish speak so they don't associate them with life."
"What if they do know?" Ariel asked.
"The ones who do know and don't care to do it anyway. Those are the real assholes. But they don't speak for all humanity." Maverick stated before standing up and looking at her. "Humans eat fish. That much is certain. But the ones who know better only stay within their rightful limits."
"I suppose that makes sense." Ariel nodded while looking down and thinking.
"If you're wondering if Eric is anything like that. Don't. He's going to slip up if no one is teaching or showing him that he is. That's where you come in." Maverick stated while he pointed at Ariel's heart which made her smile hopefully.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot who was floating next to Maverick stated.
"Good. Point. I mean it's not like the fish don't eat each other down here." Maverick agreed with Baby Groot as a Shark was swimming up behind Maverick looking hungry.
Ariel noticed the shark, just as it charged at him.
"Look out!" Ariel shouted to Maverick, only to be thrown for a loop when Maverick, without even turning around, threw his arm up and behind him, and punched the shark har enough to knock it down and several feet away.
"Case, and point." Maverick said smugly, turning to see Ariel and Flounder staring at him, their jaws dropped open in shock.
"Where was he when we ran into all those sharks in the past?" Flounder mumbled out.
Victoria swam over as Maverick shifted back into Aiden and she playfully slugged his shoulder before smirking at Ariel.
"I think what my badass but show-offy boyfriend means to say is. You just gotta have faith in humanity. Not what they are or might be. But in what they can be." Victoria stated to help ease Ariel's doubts.
Which more than helped after Aiden just demonstrated that the undersea's food chain is not different given how many predators the mere-creatures 'socialize' with from time to time. Processing everything she just saw and heard, Ariel smiled, all her doubts vanished.
"Thanks guys." Ariel said, smiling in gratitude. "That really helped me."
"We live to give." Aiden remarked
Just do yourself a favor Ariel." Sora placed a hand on Ariel's shoulder. "When you start a new life up there. Don't forget what you have down here. Include the ocean with humanity, but don't replace it with humanity."
He even gestured to Flounder who had a smile and a look of faith to her best friend.
"We will see each other again. Right Ariel?" Flounder asked hopefully. "I mean I'm really happy for you. Very happy for you. And I'm rooting for you too. But…"
Flounder was interrupted when Ariel pulled him into a big hug.
"Oh Flounder. Of course we'll see each other again. We're best friends." Ariel gushed as she looked around the ocean. "And even when I'm human, the sea will always be a part of me."
Founder smiled and leaned into her hug. "Thanks Ariel." He chimed.
Just then. Sora and the others came over to Aiden. Each with piles of different bottles of meds and chemicals in their arms. They all dropped them in front of Aiden's pile. Which made Aiden sigh and use his ring hyper storage. And the ring sucked the bottles and vials all into the inner hyper. Which amazed Ariel and Flounder that such a small magical object can store so many items.
"Alright let's..." Aiden halted when he noticed Donald was gleaming at something in his hands. "Donald?"
"Huh? Oh!" Donald staggered and hid the object behind his back. "Y-Y-Yes?"
Aiden smirked as he swam up to Donald and teased."What's that?"
"What's what?" Donald smiled nervously.
"That." Aiden pointed behind his back.
"What?" Donald inquired without losing his nervous smile.
"You know." Aiden stated and pointed again.
"Know what?" Donald inquired.
Finally Victoria got annoyed as her eyes glowed and she snapped. "COUGH IT UP DUCK!" she roared in a scary tone.
Which made Donald jump and fright and shed feathers.
"WAK! OKAY OKAY!" The duck dropped it and shivered.
Aiden snickered and picked up what was in Donald's hand.
"Jumpscares. Gets them every time." Aiden remarked about his girlfriend's ability to scare folks.
So they looked at the object and saw that it was a necklace. But not just any necklace. It was a golden pendant with a seashore emblem on it.
"Hey. Doesn't that belong to..." Ariel wondered. If it was Eric's.
"He had this on him when I saved his life years ago." Aiden confirmed it was Eric's pendant. "It's probably a personal relic to him."
"He must have lost it when his ship sank." Ariel said, looking seriously concerned. "He's probably worried sick about it. I've got to return it to him."
Aiden then took Ariel's hand and put the pendant in it.
"Here. Consider it your first step to first base. We homosapiens call it, giving gifts." Aiden said smugly, with a wink of an eye.
Ariel smiled but wasn't sure what first base meant.
"First base means first kiss." Victoria gave her the age appropriate answer.
"Oh. Hehe. Of course." Ariel blushed and giggled thinking about what her first kiss with Eric will be like.
"Alright Guardians, and future engaged human." Sora smirked at Ariel as he gestured her and the others to follow back to Ariel's Secret Cove. "Come on. It's almost time for the big change to happen."
They all nodded and swam back to Ariel's Secret Cove together. And Aiden couldn't help but make a last minute joke.
"Big change? You're hitting puberty already Spike?" Aiden quipped.
"Shut it Aid." Sora groaned at his friend's mischievous humor which made Ariel and Kairi giggle.
THAT'S ALL FOR NOW FOLKS!
For some of you that are wondering why I didn't add more of Sebastian's accent in the song 'Under The Sea'. Those were the main lyrics I could copy and paste on the internet. And I would've been too much work to redo completely. That and I was worried you folks might have gotten offended, despite all the humor I got away with.
But I digress people. Let me know if you folks have any ideas for the upcoming scene with the crazy chef that tried to cook Sebastian. Because his song is coming soon. Also if you've seen the movie. You know what's about to happen next. So brace yourselves. But things will get interesting after Ariel becomes human.
