One day on Sesame Street, the Count was being filmed teaching a lesson on counting. He was in his castle, counting all the bats there were. The cameramen yawned as they listened to Count drone on about the hundreds of bats he counted one-by-one. He finally finished by shouting rather dramatically, "Nine-hundred and seventy-eight bats! Ah ah ah ah!!!" Thunder and lightning clapped in the background.

"And cut!" shouted the director. "All right, let's go shoot the next scene for Elmo's World."

"Oh, I must count the number of people working on Elmo's World!" Count declared as he got off the stage. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven…"

"Excuse me, Count, but we don't need you for the set of Elmo's World. Why don't you go back home?" the director said.

"Ah, Mr. Director, let me count the little hairs on your head. One, two, three, four…"

The director shoved Count away. "That's…not necessary, Count."

"Then I must count the number of teeth you have. One, two…"

"I HAVE 32 TEETH!" exploded the director.

The Count laughed evilly, and thunder and lightning clapped behind him. He then ran off to count more things. On the set of Elmo's World, Count began to count the number of cameras set up. "One, two, three! Three cameras! Ah ah ah ah ah!" he cackled.

"Yes, Count," one of the workers said, "it is indeed very obvious that there are three cameras on set."

"Now, let me count the number of objects you have on set!"

"Uh, Count…"

"One, two, three, four, five, six…"

"Count, please stop…"

"…nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen…"

"Count…"

"…eighteen, nineteen, twenty…"

"COUNT!!! STOP COUNTING ALREADY!!!" bellowed the worker.

"Fine. Why didn't you just say so?" Count asked.

"We have told you to stop many times!" the worker shouted.

"You did, but you didn't tell me what to stop doing. Next time, be more specific," Count smiled sneakily as he walked off the set. The worker looked exasperated and collapsed on the floor in frustration.
