Chapter 1069

Coldness Or Training

Jesse was a little worried about Gail. She wanted to check up on the operation and see how things were. She could either get dressed and go by the Command Center or stay naked and go to the lab. She actually thought John and John Henry wouldn't mind if she showed up naked. Maybe she should go to the lab. She didn't want to cause any problems. The most that she would have to throw on would be a robe. She could probably even get by going there naked.

The latter idea actually excited her. Maybe someone would spot her on the way and want to knock off a quickie. She was always open to that. Then again, she could run into the girls. She didn't think that was a problem. She knew they all spied on her anyway. She could also run into Riley. She didn't think it was that big of a problem anymore either. Riley was able to see her topless quite frequently now. Then again she could always run into Sarah.

She always felt that Sarah was the 'one who got away'. She was aware there was a lot of tension between Sarah and her when she'd first arrived. She found out very quickly that Sarah was all business and did what she said. She was a very strong female in more ways than one. That actually excited her even more. Normally she was the dominant female when she was around other females. She was the one that took control of them and told them what they were going to do for her and then made them do it.

Over the years Sarah and her exchanged many secret looks. She was pretty sure that Sarah was ready for a little more. She figured that Sarah didn't want to get in between Vanna and Allison so she gave them plenty of slack. She was unattached to anyone and was available to everyone.

She decided she would go to the lab naked. Maybe she would run into Sarah along the way. If Sarah was with Jan then there would probably be a problem. If Sarah was alone, there were plenty of empty rooms along the way. She could get a lot done in a short amount of time with a female.

Jesse started to walk away from the bed. She was a little surprised when a hand reached out and touched her.

"Let me work on you now." Claire said.

She wanted to check on Gail but she didn't want Claire to worry about Hanna if she knew where she was going.

"Sure, love." Jesse said. "I just wanted to stretch my legs."

Claire looked at Jesse with love in her eyes.

"Now you can spread them instead." Claire said. "I have this one."

Jesse looked at the door to the room and back at Claire on the bed. She knew there was one way to take her mind off of her worries.

"Only till you get me warmed up." Jesse said. "Then it's a two way street."

Jesse thought that was a good analogy even if the people in the States drove on the wrong side of the road. For what she had in mind, it didn't matter which side of the road anyone was on.

Life was good in Paradise.

In the Command Center they watched the drone footage of the motorcycle take down. It was a hard spill for the rider. Hanna chose to take out the motorcycle rather than the rider.

John gave Young Allison the ability to make the decision on how to stop the motorcycle rider. There was no hesitation on her part when she gave the takedown order. She was ready for a drone to put six bullets in the motorcycle rider's back. Hanna used a different approach. He was pretty sure she did it that way because Young Allison was in the Command Center and she didn't want Young Allison to have blood on her hands directly or in front of him. After the takedown he saw the long hair when the helmet came off.

"It's a female." John said.

John Henry wanted more information. There were several other possibilities.

"Maybe they just have long hair." John Henry said. "It could be an outlaw biker or someone posing as one. They could be hopped up on drugs and hardly felt the fall."

Anna wanted to keep the focus a little more in line with what they thought they were dealing with originally.

"Maybe they're a Terminator." Anna said. "That was a hard fall."

John looked over at Young Allison. She didn't seem bothered by her decision. He actually wondered if she was upset that six bullets weren't put in the back of the motorcycle rider like she originally wanted.

Young Allison actually anticipated a different outcome. Either way the motorcycle rider was down. That was the goal. They weren't to reach the mall regardless of what it took to prevent that from happening. She noticed John looked at her several times. She wondered if he questioned her resolve. If he did, he was in for a big surprise. It wasn't going to change.

"The chase is over and we have them in custody." Young Allison said. "Now we need to deal with what the other two teams are doing."

John wasn't sure if it was coldness or someone with very good training as he watched Young Allison. He knew she was advanced in 'everything'. He just didn't realize how advanced she was. He hoped that she might want to become more advanced in a few more things on a personal level. He would be more than willing to accommodate her on that level. He couldn't help but look at Anna and wonder if somehow he could work her in as well.

Wait.

What was he thinking? He really didn't know where those thoughts came from sometimes. They just popped into his head.

Cameron and Cammy both slammed their captives hard into the ground. They pulled the guns away from them as they disarmed them.

Gail went to Cammy's side and Savannah backed up Cameron.

The Gray on Cammy's side tried to rise up. He pulled a knife and moved to stab her.

Gail stepped forward and kicked him in the head. There was a loud 'cracking' sound as the side of the skull caved in at the same time his neck snapped.

"This one is terminated." Gail said.

The Gray that Cameron slammed down was out cold.

"Throw the other one back in the car." Cameron said.

Cammy reached down and picked up the rag doll dead Gray and tossed him in the front seat.

Cameron reached down and roughly pulled the other Gray away from the car. His head bounced off the curb onto the asphalt with a dull 'thwack' sound.

"Flip the car over and torch it." Cameron said.

Gail and Cammy made sure Savannah was clear and easily flipped the car upside down. Cammy used the knife the Gray tried to stab her with to puncture the gas tank. The amber liquid flowed down into the passenger compartment and out onto the ground.

The other Gray started to come around.

He seemed groggy at first but soon came to his senses.

He looked at Cameron. His eyes focused on her a little slower than normal.

"You're that 'Metal Bitch'." The Gray said to Cameron.

Gail disliked the way the Gray addressed Cameron.

"That's no way to talk to a lady." Gail said.

The Gray looked over at Gail and issued a string of profanities.

Gail aimed her M4 at the Gray.

"Go ahead. I'll never tell you a thing." The Gray said.

Cameron believed with the proper motivation that anyone would talk.

"We'll see." Cameron said. "Torch the car."

Gail fired one round into the pavement where the gasoline pooled. It caused a spark. With a loud 'whoosh' the gasoline vapor ignited.

The other Gray that was in the flipped over car began to burn.

"You can talk or join your friend." Cameron said.

The Gray looked over at Cameron and issued a new string of profanities.

"You will bow before SkyMaster." The Fanatic said as he gasped.

Cameron quickly realized the man probably wasn't a Gray.

"I doubt that." Cameron said.

Cammy was alarmed by the SkyMaster reference.

"These people are the Fanatics, warn Sheila, Ally and Tom." Cammy said to the Command Center. "Have them watch for explosives and a 'poison tooth'."

Cameron hadn't noted any explosives on the man when she checked him. There was one area that she didn't check. She didn't check his mouth for a 'poison tooth'.

"I think you're right." Cameron said.

The Fanatic looked past Cameron and spotted Savannah.

His face turned ashen as a look of terror seized him.

A few seconds later white and pinkish foam started to come out of his mouth.

Cameron hadn't been able to check his mouth in time.

"He took poison." Cameron said.

There was a look of satisfaction along with agony on the Fanatic's face. The act of taking poison was his last act of defiance in the face of who he thought Savannah was.

"She's too late to make me talk." The Fanatic said as he frothed at the mouth. "The Re…."

Cameron saw that he looked at Savannah when he said that. It irritated her greatly. She wanted him dead before he mentioned 'The Redheaded Witch' or 'The Evil One'. She quickly grabbed him before he could finish his sentence. She crushed his lower jaw so he was unable to speak. She wanted him to suffer a little bit more.

"If you don't have time to talk, maybe you have time to scream." Cameron said.

Cameron picked up the dying Fanatic and tossed him into the overturned burning car.

He did have time to scream, at least for a short while.

Cameron and Cammy exchanged a short look with each other. They both knew what the Fanatic was going to say.

"Let's go." Cameron said.

Cammy looked at Savannah to see if she was bothered by any of what she'd just witnessed. She wasn't.

Savannah noticed Cammy check her out.

"It's no big deal, Cammy." Savannah said. "We almost died earlier in the explosion. Payback is a Bitch."

Cameron looked back at Savannah.

"And there are four of them right here." Cameron said.

Cameron didn't know if anyone else besides Cammy caught the exchange between the Fanatic and Savannah. She hoped not. She really hoped that no one in the Command Center was able to make any type of connection as to what was almost said.

She needed to re-evaluate what the current situation actually was. They still didn't know who the dead were inside the building that was blown up. They thought they were Fanatics. They very well could have been Fanatics. They could have also been whatever group came to attack them. The Fanatics could have taken their computer gear and moved out. If it was Grays, they killed the Fanatics and took the computer gear. It could have also been the anti-Metal group. That was one of the reasons why she wanted to look at the bodies.

"The motorcycle rider is most likely a Gray or a Terminator." Cameron said. "If not, it's someone associated with the anti-Metal faction."

John watched the action at the site where Cameron was at.

John Henry received the warning about the 'security patrol' being the Fanatics. He quickly issued the warning to Sheila, Ally and Tom.

"They need to get away from the other car." Young Allison said. "Check the Fanatic's hands for a detonator."

The Fanatic that Tom held already started to froth at the mouth when they received the warning.

The team quickly moved away from the sedan.

The Fanatic that Sheila and Ally held tried to do something.

They each yanked one of his arms away from his sides, both of his arms broke. There was a shrill scream. Something fell to the ground. Ally tried to force his mouth open to prevent him from taking the poison as Sheila held him. She was too late.

"Both of the Fanatics have self terminated." Tom said.

No one was more disappointed than Sheila was to hear that news.

John heard what Cameron said about the motorcycle rider. He agreed with those choices.

"That leaves us with one Gray." John said. "There's always the chance they're from the anti-Metal faction as well."

John Henry was unsure of what they may have at this point. He heard what Cameron said. He wanted to add one more possibility.

"They may be a Fanatic as well." John Henry said.

Young Allison wanted them alive. All she knew so far is that they were the enemy. It didn't really matter which one, even if it did. They were still the enemy.

"Check to see if they're a Terminator and check for a 'poison tooth'." Young Allison said. "We don't even know what we have."

Steve and Dan rolled the figure over. They were both a little surprised at what they found. They both expected to find a Terminator. That wasn't the case.

"It's a human female." Dan said.

Al arrived as they flipped the female over. He moved up to her and checked inside her mouth.

"I don't see anything." Al said. "Do you want me to pull all her teeth out before she regains consciousness?"

John was aware that Sheila did that once to a Fanatic. He thought she did it mostly because she was bored or for fun. Maybe she did it just to hear him scream. He'd never seen anything official in a report about it but he'd heard talk about how she treated some of the human prisoners that she was able to get her hands on. It was often something very cruel. Most of those were on non Resistance operations.

He wanted to get some answers, not hear her scream. He wondered about her physical condition after the hard fall.

"NO. I don't want you to do that." John said. "How bad is she busted up?"

Dan and Al quickly checked her over.

Nothing appeared life threatening to Dan.

"She has a possible fracture on her left forearm. She is bleeding in a few places but not badly." Dan said. "There are some abrasions to both her legs and right hand."

Steve looked at the helmet that the female wore.

"Her helmet took quite a beating. It appears to have saved her life." Steve said.

John wanted to know more about her physical condition.

"Try to see if the bone is broken or only cracked." John said. "Is she going to live with her current injuries?"

Steve did some further investigation related to the female's condition.

"She will survive." Steve said.

John wanted her for interrogation as much as Young Allison did.

"Secure her and take off." John said.

Al didn't think it would be a problem. Humans were soft targets.

"Affirmative…." Al said.

John was curious as to how Young Allison would handle a prisoner. He was well aware that Cameron took control of any of the ones that survived the initial encounter.

"Now what do you want to do?" John asked as he looked at Young Allison. "What about the prisoner?"

The answer was simple to Young Allison. She was aware of what happened to captured Grays.

"She will need to be interrogated before termination." Young Allison said.

John could see the coldness again. He wanted to give her something to think about.

"What if that was Savannah or you?" John asked.

Young Allison didn't like John's questions. Was he trying to test her?

"She can't be let go." Young Allison said. "All Grays are to be terminated. If any of them were released, they would come right back at us."

John hoped for some more compassion. There was none. He thought Cameron would be pleased to know that Young Allison thought just like her. He wondered if she would terminate the female herself. He decided not to ask. She probably would do it to prove a point.

"Just like that, that's it?" John asked.

Anna was upset with John's questions. She didn't like Young Allison to be singled out.

"She didn't make the rules, John." Anna said. "Back off."

Young Allison wasn't about to back down. She looked at Anna and glared at John. She wanted to make it clear that she was ready to 'up her game'.

"I can handle him, Anna." Young Allison said. "I wish to witness the interrogation. Maybe I'll assist."

That was one step too far for John.

"No way…." John said. "I won't allow that."

John didn't want those images in her mind.

Young Allison watched some of the less aggressive interrogations with Cameron and Anna at her sides. Cameron wanted her to know the truth. Cameron told her that the truth was often ugly. Either way, it was still the truth.

"I already know what will happen." Young Allison said. "It's no big deal."

John looked at her. He could see she was telling the truth. He decided to push her a little more. He could see that she wasn't going to crack or fold. He laid out the million dollar question.

"Will you kill her yourself as well?" John asked.

John Henry knew Cameron was going to be furious when she found out what John was doing with Young Allison, verbally.

"Ease off, John." John Henry said. "Everything that you're doing is going to make things worse."

Young Allison remained calm even if she was a little steamed. Cameron taught her how to deal with situations like this. Cameron taught her how to deal with John.

"If I need to, I will." Young Allison said. "The future must be protected. That's my job. That's my function. Anything Skynet related is a threat. It doesn't matter which version of Skynet it is."

Anna knew there was going to be some backlash over this.

"John, don't push her." Anna said.

Young Allison looked at all of them and concentrated on John.

"Nobody pushes me." Young Allison said. "I've studied every report about what happens around here many times. I already KNOW everything, even if I haven't actually done it. I'm GOING to at some point. ALL of it."

John wasn't happy with Cameron for this. He really wondered what Young Allison was going to be like as an older teenager. It was clear she was going to be very dominant. He didn't want to push Young Allison any further. She dug in and doubled down at every turn.

"This operation is concluded for the evening." John said.

Young Allison looked at Anna. They took that as time to depart. It appeared their welcome was over. She didn't think that John I would tell them to 'get out' but it was a possibility. She thought she'd pushed things far enough. It was time to move on.

"Are we still going to go out with Cameron for dinner?" Young Allison asked.

It seemed to John that Young Allison was unphased by anything that happened or was going to happen.

"She may wish to interrogate the prisoner." Anna said. "We can go check on Summer and your mother."

Young Allison checked one of her monitors.

"Mom is 'busy' right now." Young Allison said. "I don't want to disturb her."

Anna wanted to remind Young Allison where they were and who they were with.

"Do you need to do anything else here?" Anna asked.

Young Allison thought she did everything as she was trained.

"I need to thank John and John Henry for allowing me the opportunity to work with them." Young Allison said. "I did what I've been trained to do. I did what I'm supposed to do. I did what I'll do in the future."

John Henry wanted her to know she did everything correctly.

"You did an excellent job." John Henry said.

Young Allison was pleased to hear that. She didn't think that praise was necessary. She'd simply done what needed to be done. If it wasn't her, it would have been someone else to make the calls.

"Thank you." Young Allison said.

John couldn't find fault with her or her actions. He didn't like her standing up to him but was impressed that she did. He only wanted one concession from her.

"I agree. You were fantastic." John said. "Allison, I'm asking for you not to be involved with the interrogation."

Young Allison smiled at John.

John saw it was a smile that could melt a heart.

Young Allison could see that she had John's undivided attention.

"Since you asked so nicely, I'll relay that to Cameron if it comes up." Young Allison said. "I'm in no hurry."

John was relieved to hear that. He was glad to see the human side of her as well.

"Thank You." John said.

Young Allison moved up and gave John a close hug.

John was worried she was going to kiss him. He was only worried because it was in public.

"Thank you." Young Allison said and then whispered in his ear. "There are a few other things I wouldn't mind trying."

Young Allison flashed him another beautiful smile, gave him a wink and left with Anna.

John watched them leave and head down the hall. He noticed John Henry look at him. He knew what was going to come next. He figured that Anna and John Henry both heard what Young Allison whispered in his ear. He wondered why she'd even bothered to whisper at this point.

"Don't say it." John said.

John Henry looked over from his monitor.

"I didn't say anything." John Henry said.

John knew that he said it whenever he could because he believed it was true.

"You want to." John said.

John Henry thought it would be better if John said it. It would help him accept his future.

"You say it." John Henry said. "You want to."

John ignored John Henry. He could see Young Allison was going to be a challenge.

"I'm going to be in big trouble with that one." John said.

John Henry didn't see her as trouble but as action.

"The future must be protected." John Henry said.

That was a truth that John knew. He was worried about the cost, the human cost.

"But at what price?" John asked.

The answer seemed obvious to John Henry.

"It's at the price of winning." John Henry said.

If they didn't win, then Skynet won. If they lost, the world lost.

John felt he needed to speak with Cameron about it and what she was doing. Then again, if he did that, Cameron would probably accelerate Young Allison's 'training' and 'ageing'. He thought about what Young Allison said and the wink she gave him as she left. He wondered how much of that was for real and how much of that was to control him. He was pretty sure once he was able to get some 'hands on' experience with her that she'd be able to control him plenty. He was aware that Cameron already did.

Savannah wanted to ride with Cameron. There were a few things she wanted to discuss with her that she thought were important.

Cameron wanted to get away from the 'accident' scene. That's what the burning vehicle was staged to look like. She looked over at the damaged SUV that Cammy and her arrived in.

"I need to dump this SUV away from here." Cameron said.

Cammy thought they should get started. They already had ride.

"Gail can follow us and we can dump it." Cammy said.

Gail could see Savannah wanted to ride with Cameron. She knew Savannah wanted to talk about the female prisoner that they'd captured.

"Cammy, why don't you ride with me?" Gail said. "I'll let you drive."

Cammy looked at Savannah and Cameron. She could tell Savannah wanted to be alone with Cameron.

"Sure, Gail." Cammy said. "We can do that."

Savannah smiled at Cammy but didn't say anything. She looked at Gail and nodded.

Gail nodded back.

Sheila wanted to check the Fanatics for information. She was a little worried about what was in his hand. She hoped it wasn't a detonator.

"What did he drop?" Sheila asked.

Ally looked around on the ground.

"It was his phone." Ally said. "I think he tried to photograph us. He failed."

There was one worry for Sheila.

"They seem to know who Cameron is." Sheila said.

Ally caught her drift.

"Do you mean that they'll think I'm her?" Ally asked.

Sheila thought the group of Fanatics would know 'who' Ally was.

"It's a possibility." Sheila said.

Ally listened to the fact there was now a prisoner for interrogation. She knew Sheila would be interested.

"You need to call Cameron through CamNet for instructions." Ally said. "Steve has a live one."

Sheila already showed signs of excitement. She thought about what she was going to do to Cammy and then Hanna and Ally later on. She wasn't able to complete their 'surprise'.

"It's a female too." Sheila said. "I want to 'work' with her."

Sheila planned to 'work' on her.

Ally thought there might be some sexual arousal as well.

"Savannah won't allow that." Ally said.

Sheila really looked forward to be able to do what Jesse did in her past, the future.

"It was Jesse's favorite thing." Sheila said. "To interrogate a female was what she prized over everything."

Ally felt Jesse was reformed. It was clear that Sheila wasn't. She wanted Sheila to think about it ahead of time.

"Is it still her favorite thing?" Ally asked.

Sheila did know that it no longer was.

"No, I don't think it is." Sheila said.

Sheila wanted to use enhanced interrogation on another female. She always felt it completed her journey with the 'Neural Interface' with Jesse. It would complete the circle. Jesse warned her there was a lot of darkness before the 'Neural Interface' procedure. Jesse may have forced herself away from the darkness. She didn't. She'd learned to embrace it.

She contacted CamNet and asked for instructions from Cameron. She knew Cameron would want to keep this from John and Young Allison as much as possible.

Word came back to meet up with Steve and take the prisoner from him to Cameron's base. She was also instructed not to 'start' yet.

She was sure Cameron wanted to involve Savannah or Young Allison in the interrogation.

Sheila reached up and touched her 'heart'. Maybe someone else could do the interrogation. She didn't want to do it in front of Savannah or Young Allison. Her 'heart' reminded her that they believed she was better than she used to be. It certainly gave her something to think about.

They Don't Always Like The Way I Do Things

They don't always like
The way I do things
So they criticize me
Their words are like bee stings

Not everyone is the same
We're all differently wired
People should be inspired
Their best attempts admired

Sometimes I win
Mostly I lose
Why make hurt and pain
The option they must choose

I'll never have
The right stuff
Forever I'll always be
Not good enough

I already know this
Don't grind me down more
Please have mercy
I'm down on the floor

I've tried my best
When my best attempts fail
Please take no pleasure
When they make me wail

Don't cast me aside
Please attack me not
This is all I have
It means a lot

Nobody
