A Celebration Fit for a Champion!
It was a day after the exhibition match and all of Ash's guests were currently at the hotel lobby, excitedly talking about the battle.
"I still cannot believe that starter took down a friggin Gourgeist." Paul said as he still remembered the match Rowlet had against the fully evolved pumpkin and won.
"Tell me about it. 'God of Starters?' I can see the nickname" Trip added. Alain soon came back holding a T-Shirt
"Well, I got something for Marin.' Alain said as he showed a black T-shirt with Ash's Rowlet on the front. The top said 'God' on it. 'Still find it hard to believe that Rowlet managed to KO a Gourgeist. Sure, there is a type advantage but still."
"But what about that dragon on dragon battle between Tyrantrum and Kommo-O! That was so COOL!" Iris said as she gushed about the battle.
"Especially when Kommo-O consumed that Aura Sphere like a first class dish, giving a wonderful display of power like a glorious fireworks show!" Cilan proclaimed.
"Nah, nah! Best part was the Thunder Armor on that duck knight! I never thought we would see that again!" Max spoke in excitement as he and May remembered the Thunder Armor.
"Yeah! Not to mention that Black Meteor move!" May agreed with her brother.
"Forget that! What about when that strange Pokémon showed up? They called it an Ultra Beast? How did we not know about it?" Clemont said
"Well I can tell you that I enjoyed seeing the Counter Shield and Ice Aqua Jet again. What a nostalgic trip!" Dawn spoke with a spread of her arms in excitement.
"You both are forgetting one thing. The Battle Bond Phenomenon! With Pikachu! I thought only Greninja could do that!" Serena added with Bonnie and Clemont agreeing as well.
"Guys, Guys! You are all forgetting the best part! ASH IS THE ALOLA CHAMPION!" Misty exclaimed in pure joy at the title.
"After six leagues, Ash finally did it!" Brock added. Everyone was also in agreement.
"That's right! We gotta go congratulate him!" Bonnie said.
"But first…' Misty said as she whipped out her mallet 'I AM GONNA POUND HIM FOR NOT TELLING US!" She roared as fire erupted around her.
"Calm down Misty. Let's get some shut eye. We'll see Ash in the morning." Brock said as they all went to their rooms to rest.
Seeing an amazing battle will take a lot out of you.
Meanwhile Ash was with the three professors and the rest of the champions. They were in a high class restaurant as they congratulated Ash for the battle.
"That was a first-class battle, Ash," Oak said as he raised his glass filled with juice in celebration.
"Here, Here!" Everyone said as they toasted the young champ.
"Awww thanks! Still...please don't call me a champion. Still not used to that." Ash said in embarrassment.
"Oh please. You're too humble. You beat me with all your skills and tactics." Diantha said.
"Yeah! It ain't wrong to embrace it ya know!" Leon said as he wrapped an arm around the young trainer. He was munching on a grilled Corphish.
"I'm pretty sure that bear hug your mother gave you showed how proud she is." Wallace said, sipping his juice.
"Say where is Mrs. Ketchum anyways?" Steven asked as he wondered where the Ketchum matriarch was.
"Here's a hint." Oak said as he and Ash pointed to the kitchen.
MEanwhile, Delia was busy cooking up a feast at high speed, much to the shock of the chefs.
"Um, Ma'am. You do realise it is our job to cook, not the customers?" The head chef said. Delia turned around holding a wooden spoon.
"Excuse me, but my son had just won a match against a champion. Are you going to deny me making him a celebratory dinner?" She said in a cheerful tone that brought shivers down their spines.
"No Ma'am!"
Back to the dinner.
"Now then. How about we plan a Luau? We have got to celebrate your championship win the right way!" Kukui said with Burnet agreeing.
"I agree. Plus, we need to help you form an Elite 4." Lance added.
"Well, I have a few choices in mind." Ash said. This made Kukui curious.
"Really? Who?" he asked.
"First there's Ryuki. A dragon trainer. He's pretty powerful and his Pokémon definitely can move to a beat. His music helped control them and can hone their instinct."
"Who else?" Said Kukui.
"Well...I was hoping Guzma may be a member as well."
Kukui was silent as he remembered the Team Skull boss.
"You're kidding?"
"Look, He may be rough around the edges but he is a powerful battler. Besides, he isn't all bad." Ash explained.
Kukui looked unsure but he had a point. Guzma was a powerful trainer.
"OK, that's two. Who else?"
"For a representation of the Kahunas...How about Olivia? She's someone that can easily get along with other trainers." Ash suggested.
"True. She is a bit spazzy though." Kukui said.
"Yeah, but that's what makes her enjoyable." Ash said.
"So who is the final choice?" Kukui asked.
"I…have no clue." Ash relented
"Hey, don't worry. We'll help you pick someone." Kukui said with a smile to which he returned.
"OK, now that's out of the way…let's chat about the battle!" Leon said in an excited tone.
That got all of the champions' attention as they also talked about the battle.
"I am rather interested in how your Rowlet took down Diantha's Gourgeist. Especially for someone so…chill." Lance said as he remembered Rowlet falling asleep mid-flight.
"Yep when the going gets tough, Rowlet will pull through! But his sleeping time always gives me heart attacks."
"I am more interested in that power-up you did with Kommo-O. It seems useful for contests." Wallace said with a finger in his chin.
"Yep. You can ask Dawn about it. I can also show you if you want." Ash offered.
"I will be delighted."
"Though that Sirfetch'd was powerful as well!' Leon said in excitement. 'And using that Thunder to power it up?! What were you thinking?!"
"Hey, you want crazy lightning absorption, you need to meet my Swellow. He's a king when it comes to absorbing lightning."
"I hope I meet him." Leon said.
"You know, Wikstrom did mention something about a trainer with a Farfetch'd wanting to learn about the way of chivalry. I should've guessed it was you." Diantha said with a smile. Ash just chuckled in embarrassment.
"I'm more interested in your Naganadel, was it? So…an Ultra Beast? You think you can share details about them?" Lance asked in curiosity.
"Yeah, they're simply Pokémon from another dimension. I don't know a lot but they are rather alien-like. You want information, you have to speak to Lusamine."
"The head of Aether paradise?" Steven asked. Ash nodded. The Kanto/Johto champion made a note to ask her later.
"But I was pleased to see the counter shield back in action. It's good for you to use old tactics." Cynthia said with a sisterly smile.
"Hey, it's a match against a top trainer. Sometimes old school works well."
"But enough about that. CAn I ask how you managed the Battle Bond Phenomenon with Pikachu? I thought only Greninja could do it."
Both trainer and pokemon smiled at the memory.
"We were busy getting ready for the match, when I remembered Greninja. Both of us figured…if I could do it with Greninja, why not with Pikachu? It took a while but soon we managed to get our hearts in sync as we had our goals. I bet Greninja would be proud if he found out." He said with a smile over his Kalos ace.
"Don't worry, Ash. He is." Oak said, which confused the two.
"Greninja actually came by the lab. The match was broadcasted worldwide." He clarified.
"WHAT?!" He said in shock.
"Yep. Everyone now knows you're the champion!" Lance said with a smile.
Ash and Pikachu ended up falling back in shock, causing everyone to laugh at their antics.
The next day, Ash was exiting Kukui's house when suddenly…
"Ash Ketchum, how does it feel to beat the Kalos Champion?!"
"How reckless are you to have your Sirfetch'd take an attack?!"
"May you give us the secrets on those techniques?!"
"How did you achieve such a form with your ace?!"
Reporters. The bane of any famous person. The cameras were blinding the Kanto native as he was overwhelmed by the sudden questions.
Luckily, salvation came in the form of his friends.
"Alright, back it up! You're gonna give him epilepsy!
Misty yelled as she began shoving the reporters away.
"You give him space right now…OR I WILL SICK MY GYARADOS ON YOU!" She roared, scaring the reporters away.
Ash sighed in relief. "Thanks guys."
"Don't worry. We're not going to let them intrude on your privacy." Brock said.
"Yeah. Still, it is awesome for you guys to come." Ash said with a grin.
"Hey, new region means new inspiration. This place is a boatload of the stuff." May ssid and Dawn agreed.
"Now then. Time to address the DOnphan in the room." Misty said in a calm tone.
"Huh?" Ash squeaked. He knew what was coming. Misty then seized him by the front of his shirt and began shaking him like a rag doll.
"ASH KETCHUM YOU ARE THE CHAMPION OF ALOLA AND YOU NEVER TOLD US?!" She roared.
"Sorry guys. A lot of things happened and I totally forgot, please don't kill me!" He squeaked in fear.
Much like with Cynthia, he was bombarded by hugs from everyone.
"We are so proud of you!"
"YOu came a long way since Kanto!"
"We've been wanting this to happen forever!"
"Man, that is so cool you won!"
"I knew you could do it!"
"Such a wonderful flavour of victory!"
"Not so much of a little kid now, ain't ya!"
"One hundred percent amazing news!"
"Yay! Yay! You did it!"
"I am so proud of you!"
"It's about time Ashy Boy!"
"Hope you keep getting stronger now you are champion!"
"Not bad from a guy from the sticks!"
"At least you didn't get interfered!"
The congratulations soon piled up as everyone began congratulating him, all the while Ash continued to blush in embarrassment.
He was still not used to such a title.
Now, the group was on the beach with Delia and Prof. Oak in tow.
"Hey, how about I show you guys the rest of my Pokémon. The ones I used in the match aren't the only ones I have?"
Everyone agreed on that. They were eager to meet Ash's new friends.
But first…
"Let's have your Pokémon out to meet each one. I want them to get along!" Ash insisted.
"Well, who are we to argue?" Brock said as everyone agreed. Piplup and Dedenne were already out, but soon they brought out a Psyduck, Sudowoodo, Toxicroak, Blaziken, Simisage, Haxorus, Diggersby, Chesnaught, Delphox, Electivire, Serperior and CHarizard
Everyone soon began looking around their surroundings wondering till they saw Ash.
"Everyone listen up! We have some big news!' Dawn announced to which they looked in confusion. 'Ash is the champion of Alola!"
The POkémon were silent until…they began roaring in excitement and happiness. Some were eager to see if Ash had improved in battle while others danced in celebration.
Ash was also excited to see them as well.
"No way! A lot of them evolved?! Man have I missed out!"
He was busy meeting and greeting everyone. Pikachu was also greeting them when he saw a tiny rabbit, an ice-blue quadruped and a fox like creature with ribbons bound up to him
As it turns out, Bunerary, Sylveon and Glaceon had popped out on their own and soon saw Pikachu and bounced to congratulate him.
PokéSpeech
"Pika Baby!" They all said before glaring at each other.
"Uhhh…In case you are wondering. I was going to congratulate him" Buneary said in a low tone.
"Don't you mean I am going to congratulate him?" Glaceon said in a cold tone
"You're wrong. I will do the congratulating." Sylveon said in an even tone.
Things were silent when…
"HE'S MINE!" They all yelled as they began fighting with each other, creating a huge dustcloud in the sand.
"Guys! Guys! Cool it!" Pikachu said to no avail.
PokeSpeech Off
"Oh jeez. I keep forgetting those three have a thing for Pikachu." Dawn said as she facepalmed.
They managed to pull them away but the three girls still glared at each other.
Ash just sweatdropped at the sight.
"Anyways…You guys want to meet the rest of my Pokémon?" He asked and everyone agreed on that.
We will probably be a while so here is the rundown.
Rowlet:
Rowlet emerged from his ball and landed on the sand.
Bonnie was gushing over how cute he was and Rowlet soaked up all the attention.
"Hey Piplup. Say hi to your fellow everstone user" She said and the penguin waddled up to the owl.
"Piplup!" He chirrupped as he held a fin. When he looked at Rowlet though…
"PIPLUP?!" His eyes went white and hexagonal as his beak dropped.
"Rrr…Rrrr…Rrr…"
Rowlet was asleep.
"Wow. Talk about a sleepy head…" Dawn said with a sweatdrop.
Suddenly…
"ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW!" He screeched, flapping his wings, shocking everyone before falling back asleep. This cause everyone to chuckle
"God of Starters everyone." Alain remarked.
Lycanroc
Lycanroc immediately began to chatter with some of the younger Pokémon
"Wow! He's definitely enjoying playing with the little ones." Clemont said as he witnessed Lycanroc chase the smaller Pokémon around. Paul's, Alain's and Trip's pokemon looked at the orange wolf with interest.
There was something powerful about him.
Incineroar
Much like before, the fire tiger made a huge show, eager to test his skills. Paul's Electivire smiled in battle lust. He looked like a worthy opponent.
"What a showboater." Serena said with a chuckle.
"That's Incineroar for you!" Ash said with a smirk.
Naganadel
Ash decided to say this first:
"By the way Iris. Naganadel is a Dragon-Type." He said with a grin.
Almost immediately, Iris zoomed up to the Ultra Beast with stars in her eyes.
"OH WOW! A dragon from another dimension?! So awesome!"
Naganadel rasped in joy as he began to spin in place.
Haxorus began to feel dizzy from the spinning motion.
Melmetal
As soon as the liquid metal golem landed, everyone's eyes bugged out.
"No. Way." Brock said in shock.
"I heard Prof. Oak said that a rare Pokémon was discovered but…I didn't expect Ash to be the owner?" Clemont said.
All of the smaller Pokémon were intimidated by the giant. Luckily, Dedenne took the first step as he looked at Melmetal with curiosity. Melmetal gazed down at the little hamster and lowered his arm, allowing him to scamper on top, chirruping in excitement. Soon more of the smaller Pokémon began approaching and clambered up to the top. Melmetal soon began moving in place in joy.
"Wow. For a mythical, he is like a gentle giant." Alain couldn't help but remark. Everyone had to agree on that.
Toucannon
"Wow. Since when do Pokémon have wrinkles and grey feathers?" Brock asked as Toucannon lowered. The doctor saw the grey feathers and wrinkles.
"Since they began raising Pokémon and leading a flock." Ash replied
"Well, he is definitely like a fine wine. Aged and with great taste." Cilan remarked.
Toucannon just cawed in respect and smacked Rowlet on the head to wake him up.
"Just like a father." Brock commented.
OK you know what…here is a montage.
Everyone began cooing over Shiinotic as she danced, Many of the small POkémon began to climb Exeggutor while Iris joined in, especially when she found out it was a dragon type, Golisopod ended up freaking out Misty, who buried herself in the sand, Passimian had a lot of fun playing with the Pokémon with its coconut ball and Kommo-O got into a fight with Electivire, Serperior and Charizard.
"OK, talk about a fighting spirit." Paul remarked as fists clashed.
"YEp. Kommo-O is a battle nut." Ash said with a sweatdrop.
Dragonite
As soon as Dragonite emerged and let out a 'bwor' in joy, everyone was silent, eyes bugging out of their skulls.
Soon they all said the same thing.
"YOU CAUGHT A DRAGONITE?!"
"Yep!" Ash said with a grin.
"Oh wow! She is such a cutie!" Iris said with stars in her eyes.
"She must be powerful." Paul commented, then Dragonite set her sights on Paul, Trip and Alain.
"Oh! Must warn you. She's a…"
He didn't get to finish as Dragonite scooped the three and their Pokémon in a surprise hug.
"What the?! Let go of me, tiny!" Paul yelled.
"A hugger." He said.
Electivire, Serperior and Charizard just melted into the hug.
"Wow! Big bad trainers are being attacked by a hug monster" Dawn mocked.
"When I get out of here, I swear I'll-" Paul began to rant but was squeezed harder.
Gengar
Gengar immediately began to spook everyone, Serena especially.
"Since when did you use ghost-types?" Misty asked.
"Since this one was abandoned by its trainer." Ash replied.
Everyone was silent until…
"That makes sense." Everyone agreed. Ash always took in abandoned Pokémon
Gengar soon began to jump scare most of them, their reactions making him laugh.
Lucario
"Wow! I was wondering when you would catch a Lucario!" Dawn said as she looked at the aura jackal, who was rather uncomfortable by the attention. However, he then saw Electivire and soon…
"CAR!" He threw a fist which was blocked by the Motor pokémon.
"Seriously, Lucario?" Ash said in exasperation.
"Well someone is eager for a battle" Max remarked.
"Yep. And Alain. Maybe we can have a clash of Mega Evolutions." Ash said.
Alain perked up.
"You mean-!" He began but Ash nodded his head in confirmation.
"Yep. Got me a Lucarionite and now I can Mega Evolve Lucario!" He said.
Alain and Charizard both perked up at that.
Sirfetch'd
When Sirfetch'd emerged, he immediately bowed in respect to the other trainers.
"So this is a Galarian evolution?" Brock asked as everyone began to analyse the duck knight.
"Yep. We have a goal to become the greatest leek master in the world!" Ash spoke with a fist in the air.
"SIR!" Sirfetch'd squawked as he also raised his sword.
"Wow! He would fit in at Renaissance fairs." MAy said with a chuckle.
Dracovish
When Dracovish was revealed…here's what happened.
"DRA! DRACO!" He garbled before…
*CHOMP!*
"AARRRRRGH!" Ash was currently flailing inside the large jaws of the fossil, who was munching with joy.
Everyone…just looked on with shocked looks.
"What the hell is that?" Paul said with slight discomfort.
"I I-don't think that head is meant to go on the end of the tail…" Serena whispered to May and Dawn.
"Forget that…How is it even breathing?" MAx added.
"Seriously, I saw some strange Pokémon. But that is not right." Alain added.
"Umm, Ash? Are you alright?" Brock said, looking apprehensively at Dracovish
"I'm alright. This always happens…" Ash said with a strained tone, as he began to pull his head out.
When he did, he saw everyone looking with rather apprehensive looks.
"Well, everyone. Meet Dracovish!" He said with a happy tone, as Dracovish began flapping his flippers in joy.
"Draco! Draco!"
Iris and Misty soon walked up to the fossil and said…
"CCCCCUUUUUUUUUTTTTEEEE!" They said with stars in their eyes.
"Cute?" May said with a deadpan.
"Look at those tiny flippers!"
"Aww you are one cute looking abomination, aren't you?"
Misty and Iris were gushing close as Drcovish set his eyes on them.
"Uhhh….why is he looking at us like that?"
"Careful. Dracovish tends to…" Ash began to warn them when Dracovish opened his jaws to try and bite them
Luckily they managed to get out of the way.
"What the?! Why did it do that?" Misty said as he began to step closer. Soon they began to run as Dracovish began to chase after them.
"Yeah…Dracovish likes to bite things." Ash said, watching the exchange.
"Well, tell him to knock it off! We are not snacks!" Iris roared, still running from the large jaws.
Ash quickly returned Dracovish with an apology
"Now then…How about we plan a party?" Brock said which caught everyone's attention.
"To celebrate Ash being champion?" Misty said with a smirk
"You know it." May answered.
"Good food." Dawn said.
"Good Music." MAx added.
"Lots of battles!" Trip also said.
"Yeah!" Ash agreed.
"LET'S DO IT!" Everyone one cheered, even Paul and Alain got in on it.
It was nighttime and the party was in full swing. Music was reverbing in the atmosphere by the DJ, pancakes and masaladas were all over the table and everyone was dancing to the music. The champions were also there mingling with some of the locals.
With Lance, he was busy talking with Kukui.
"You know that it will be busy for Ash now right?" He said.
"I know. But I know you guys will help him learn the ins and outs of being a champion." Kukui answered.
"Don't worry. We will help." Lance said with a determined nod.
"Well, Well! LAnce! Dragon Master! I challenge you to a battle!" Lance turned and saw Ryuki with a PokéBall in his hand.
"Who are you?" Lance asked.
"Names Ryuki! Famous star! Dragon King extraordinaire! And when I heard the Kanto/Johto champion was in town! I had to see how well I stack up! So come on, old man! LET'S GET THIS PARTY…STTTAAAARRRRRRRRRTED!" He howled.
Lance smiled.
"Well then. I hope you give me a challenge." Dragonite also got battle ready
With Steven, he was currently talking with Lillie about Magearna.
"So this requires something called a "Soul HEart?" He questioned as he began to analyse her in detail. Metagross's eyes began scanning, taking in the details of Magearna
"Um. Y-Yes. The soul heart is what powers Magearna. Without it, it is essentially a lifeless doll." She stuttered. Who could blame her? This was Steven effin Stone, one of the champs of Hoenn.
"Interesting. If you want, I can have my father's company do a data research on Magearna. Just to see how it works." He offered.
Magearna stepped back.
"You won't do anything malicious?" She asked.
"Who do you think I am? Rose? I will even allow you to watch and interfere should things go wrong." he said.
"I will need to ask my mother first, but I am sure I can do that." Lillie said.
With Wallace, he was currently talking to Lana, who was fangirling over the Water master.
"Oh wow! This is amazing! Wallace! Wanting to see my Primarina! And his prize Milotic! This is amazing" She gushed
"Of course. I saw this magnificent specimen and am just dying to know about it."
PRimarina decided to give a lovely performance by singing. The voice was meliodous.
"PErfection! You know…I could offer your Primarina a chance to become a contest star." He asked.
Lana and Primarina looked at each other with shock. HE was offering a chance to train. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity. But…
"Sorry. But we have a dream to sail around the world. I want to bag me a Kyogre!" Lana said with Primarina agreeing.
"Oh well. But should you change your mind, I will have a place for you." Wallace said as he went to enjoy some pancakes, leaving Lana to rush to find her friends eager to tell them the news.
Meanwhile, a 15-year old blonde boy dressed in black was watching the party with a white quadruped. He was smiling at the sight. He had gotten stronger and Ash was officially recognised as champion. Now, he needed to train his Pokémon to face him again.
"So. You're Gladion." He heard a chill female voice. Turning around, his eyes widened and saw Cynthia approach him along with GArchomp
"Cynthia…No way."
"So you're the trainer Ash defeated to become champion."
"Yes. It was a hard battle but Ash earned the title."
"I see. And this must be Silvally, you call it?"
Cynthia began looking at the Pokémon who was too shocked to even react
"You are definitely powerful. Maybe you can mould that power into something stronger."
"No offense…but why are you here?" He asked.
"Well Ash told a lot of things about you. I'm just curious how well you can battle." She said with a smirk.
"Really?"
"Yep. Plus, Ash said maybe you can be my apprentice? I can train you into becoming a stronger trainer."
Gladion was silent as he felt light-headed. The Sinnoh Champion. Wants to make him an apprentice. It was too much to take and he ended up falling over.
"Oops. Perhaps, I shouldn't have done that." She said to Garchomp.
"Gar." The land Dragon agreed
Alder meanwhile was currently scoffing down the lovely food, whistling merrily. Suddenly…
"Beat it, creepo!"
A green haired man was launched in front of him.
"You OK?" He asked.
"Yep. Just dealt with another rejection." He said.
"I'm Ulu." He greeted with a handshake
"Alder. So you need advice on the ladies?" He asked.
"Yep. I always have no luck with them." He sighed.
"Same here" Brock said as he trudged over.
"I tried flirting with a lady but Toxicroak poison jabbed me." He said with tears in his eyes.
"Really? At least you didn't get thrown into the sand." Ulu replied with also tears in is eyes.
"WHY CAN'T WE GET A GIRL?!" THey weeped.
Luckily (or unluckily…) Alder was there.
"Hey don't worry. I can offer you some advice. I use it on Cynthia and Diantha all the time." He said.
The two looked at each other before kneeling
"TEACH US!"
But before he could say anything.
"Oh No! You are not teaching them crap!"
Misty came and dragged Brock by the ear with Max dragging Ulu away, much to their pain. Suddenly, Lance dragged ALder by the poncho and dragged him away.
"Cannot leave you alone for one minute!"
Diantha was busy signing autographs when she saw Lillie, Mallow and Lana.
"So Steven offered me a chance to research Magearna!" She said giddily.
"So did Wallace to train Primarina!" Lana added.
"Lucky you two!" Mallow pouted.
"Hello~" Diantha said, causing them to turn and squeal in fangirlish noise.
"Oh my gosh! Diantha!" They screamed causing her to giggle.
"So, I see you had positive experiences with the others."
They all nodded.
"Actually, I also seem to remember you starring in a show? Something about Power Princesses? Can I see?" She asked. The three looked at each other with wide eyes, then dragged her to see the flick, with Gardevior following them to make sure nothing bad had happened.
Leon meanwhile was busy making goofy faces at Lei while Ash held him.
"Well he is a feisty blighter, ain't he?" He said with a grin. Lei just laughed, outstretching his hands to the GAlar Champion and Charizard
"Yep. Though I can't help but be nervous. I mean…I have never been an older sibling before." He said.
"Hey, I can show you the ropes. I got a kid brother back home. Who knows? Maybe you can meet up with him."
"Really?! Thanks!" Ash said as Leon continued to make faces at Lei.
With Ash's companions:
Brock was still hitting on many women, but ran into Olivia who offered him a dance. He accepted
Misty was talking with Lana, who was gushing over her Primarina. Psyduck nearly ruined it by headbutting her though.
Tracey was busy talking with Mina, who was impressed by his sketches. They decided to make a big drawing of Ash's team.
May was stuffing her face with the Malasadas. She also met Hau and they bonded over the desserts. THey then met Oranguru who offered them a refreshing drink. They enjoyed it.
MAx and Bonnie were with Lana's twin sisters, playing chase. That and they asked if they were a couple. They were not amused.
Cilan and Serena were helping Mallow with cooking up the desserts. They all shared cooking tips and discussed the restaurants.
Clemont was with Sophacles looking at the various inventions. They even created a boombox, capable of remixing the sounds heard in Alola. Naturally…it blew up.
Soon Kukui made it to the stage, ready for an announcement.
"Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed the Lua'u!"
Everyone cheered in agreement.
"As you know, a year ago we have just acquired our first Champion! Now it is time to bring him up and make it official!"
Everyone roared in excitement as Ash came onto the stage, in his champion outfit.
"Well Ash. It is time to make it official. Place your PokéBalls on the monitor and your title will be official."
"Right!" Ash did so and soon…
"WELCOME TO THE HALL OF FAME! YOU ARE NOW THE NEW CHAMPION!"
"THE HEAVY METAL GOLEM, MELMETAL!" Melmetal flexed his arms
"THE BEAST STINGER, NAGANADEL!" Naganadel spun around then spread his wings
"THE SCAVENGERS OF TIGERS, INCINEROAR!" Incineroar brought his claws out
"THE DUSK STONE WOLF, LYCANROC!" Lycanroc howled then glared at the camera
"THE GOD OF STARTERS, ROWLET!" Rowlet placed a wing on his hip and another upward
"THE LIGHTNING FAST SPEEDSTER, PIKACHU!" Pikachu spun on his back then gave a peace sign.
"WELCOME TO THE HALL OF FAME!"
Everyone cheered as Ash waved.
"Any words?" He asked.
"Just a few. I hope you get strong! I won't plan on losing anytime soon!"
Everyone roared in approval, especially his friends.
"Also…Paul, Trip, Alain? Why don't we battle?" He said with a grin.
The three looked on in shock before….
"I GET DIBS!" And they soon began running to the stage.
They began tripping
"Move it, cabbage head!"
"Screw you, Plum plumage!"
"Get off, cloud scarf, I'm first!"
They then began fighting in a dust cloud.
"GUYS!" He yelled as they stopped to look at Ash.
"I got a better idea."
Soon, the four trainers were on a wrestling ring, PokéBalls in hands.
"So how does a battle royale work?" Trip asked.
"Simple. FOur Pokémon go in, only one is left standing."
"Well then. Let's do this thing!" Trip said and soon all four trainers flung their PokéBalls.
"Electivire, Stand by for battle!"
"Serperior, LEt's do this!"
"Charizard, Go!"
"Incineroar, I choose you!"
All four were out.
Electivire, Charizard and Serperior glared at Incineroar who responded with the same glare.
"Are you ready? BATTLE, BEGIN!"
"I'll go first! Serperior, hold him with Wrap!"
"Dragon Claw, Charizard!"
"Brick Break!"
Serperior slithered to Incineroar, Charizard dove down with green claws and Electivire rushed forward with a white chop.
"Block the Brick Break and redirect Electivire to Charizard! Hold your ground with Serperior!"
Incineroar held the Brick Break in position then moved him in front of the incoming Dragon Claw, causing major damage to the furry thunder man. Serperior wrapped around Incineroar's torso.
"What the?! Did you-?" Paul glared at Alain
"Don't blame me!" He argued.
Ash then took the opportunity to attack.
"Flame Charge and hold your ground!"
Incineroar then ignited, causing the grass snake to scream and let go.
In the crowd.
"That was smart." LAnce said
"Yeah. Redirecting the attack and using Flame Charge that way was useful." Cynthia said.
Meanwhile, Gardevior felt her heart race when the flames surrounded Incineroar, making him look fierce.
"Now Flame Charge on Electivire!"
Incineroar then charged forward to Electivire, who was still recovering.
"Electivire! Dodge!" PAul called.
Electivire managed to swerve but Ash was quick.
"Keep using Flame Charge!"
Incineroar kept on running, while Electivire kept dodging.
"YOu know you won't get the same results by doing the same thing." PAul said with a smirk.
"I know. But Who says anything about trying to hit Electivire?" Ash replied, causing Paul to look confused.
Incineroar soon stopped the Flame Charges, feeling his speed increase.
"Thunder Punch! On Charizard!"
"Oh no! Block it Electivire!"
But the increase in speed meant Electivire was too slow to stop Incineroar who moved like a red blur and slammed an electric fist into the fire dragon's stomach. HIs eyes bugged out
Trip's eyes also widened.
"Crap, FLame Charge makes the user faster!" He said.
"Why didn't you tell us this now?!" Alain asked furiously.
"Well, I wanted us to fail." Trip said sarcastically. "WELL, IT WAS CLEAR THAT I FORGOT!" He yelled at them.
Ash simply frowned.
He wanted them to work together.
"Incineroar! Close Combat on Electivire!"
Incineroar then charged towards Electivire at high speed.
"Electivire, Giga Impact!"
"Charizard, Dragon Claw!"
Electivire soon charged hard with a dome of energy while Charizard dove in with Dragon Claw, but they end up crashing into each other. Soon the two began glaring at each other and snarled.
"What the hell?! I had him!" Paul yelled at Alain.
"You had crap!" Alain shot back.
Trip just growled.
"Screw this! Dragon Tail, parry mode!"
Serperior's tail glowed green as he began to match the flurry of fists from the flame tiger.
In the crowd
"This is not good." Dawn said
"Yeah. Paul, Alain and Trip are acting like loose cannons." Brock agreed.
GArdevior saw Incineroar's fists matching the Dragon Tail, and bit her lower lip.
One punch and Serperior was sent back into Electivire and Charizard.
"Oh great! Nice one Trip!" PAul remarked sarcastically
"Well at least I did something!" Trip countered
"Yeah! Get your ass kicked!" Alain said.
Soon the three trainers and their Pokémon began to argue who's responsible, furthering annoying Ash.
"GUYS!" He tried calling but they weren't listening.
"HELLO! ARE YOU DONE?!"
They weren't
"Seriously, those guys are out of sync." DIantha said with a frown.
"Like two contrasting ingredients that just don't mix well." Cilan remarked.
Ash felt his temper rise and decided enough was enough.
"INCINEROAR! DARKEST LARIAT AND FLAME CHARGE PLUS CLOSE COMBAT! USE BLACKFLAME BEATDOWN!"
Incineroar definitely felt his trainer's annoyance and rushed towards them in an aura of fire plus it went dark giving a scary look as he rushed forward. Soon Incineroar let out a scary roar as he began to punch, kick and claw at all three pokémon.
The pained roars snapped them out of it. They stood up but were clearly out of breath.
"Are you guys finished?! You all wanted to battle me but this bickering is getting in the way of landing good hits! Why don't you work together to battle me instead of battling each other?!" He said.
The three looked at each other and realised he had a point. Maybe they would do more as a team then on their own.
"Wow. Leave it to Ash to inspire those three" Iris said in an impressed tone.
"He's definitely champion material." Steven said with a smile.
"OK…how about this? When he attacks, I'll hold him down while you guys attack." PAul suggested.
"LEt's do it." Trip said.
"How about I add some extra power?" Alain suggested as he held up his Mega Glove.
"Let our bonds unite on the field of battle! CHarizard, Mega Evolve!" He declared, hitting the keystone, which was linked to the Mega Stone on the collar around Charizard's neck. Soon the light formed and Charizard had changed into black and blue with stones on his wings and blue flames around his mouth. Charizard X had entered the battle
Ash saw and smiled. Now things were getting on track.
"Flame Charge!"
Incineroar rushed forward when Electivire came and wrapped his feelers around his arm.
"You remember this, Ash?" He said with a smirk.
"Yep and soon you'll remember this. Darkest LArtiat!"
Incineroar soon began spinning in place, causing Electivire to go spinning with him. As Serperior and Charizard saw this, they were soon caught up in the spinning vortex. The grip soon loosened and they crashed into the ropes and sprung back to Incineroar.
"Oh no! Brick Break!"
Electivire chopped down onto his head, vaulting over the tiger.
"Send him flying with a Frenzy Plant!"
Trip's Serperior soon summoned large, thorny vines that launched Incineroar into the air and Cahrizard was waiting.
"Thunder Punch!"
Mega Charizard X soon slammed an electric fist onto Incineroar's stomach, slamming him into the ground. It formed a crater.
Incineroar soon stood up slowly, panting.
That was a hard hit.
Luckily, he felt something emerging.
"Now things are getting somewhere. You guys are finally working as one." He said with a grin.
"Yeah. Thanks to you. YOu're definitely perfect for Alola's champion." Alain said
"Thanks. But it is a shame I have to end this. Incineroar…NOW!"
With a primal roar, Incineroar's body glowed a dark red as his firepower rose up from Blaze.
"Now LET'S END THIS!" Ash said as he placed a Z-Crystal into the ring.
Soon he crossed his arms and brought them down with Incineroar doing the same. Soon Ash bent down then brought his hands up to make a scaring pose while Incineroar placed a hand on the ground with a devilish smirk, Z Power surrounding him.
"Oh boy, this ain't good." Paul said and the other agreed.
"LET'S GO INCINEROAR! TIME TO SHOW WHY YOU'RE KING OF THE RING! LET'S USE OUR Z-MOVE!"
Incineroar then leapt up and grabbed Electivire and threw him behind to where Serperior and Charizard were with so much force, they crashed into the ropes then he uppercutted them into the air.
"TIME FOR A MOVE OF CHAMPIONS!"
Soon Incineroar did a drop kick, then an uppercut sending them even higher.
"UNLEASH THE MALICIOUS MOONSLAUT AND LEAVE THEM BEATEN AND BASHED! NOW LET'S UNLEASH THE FINAL SMASH!"
Incineroar then went above and dove head first with his head smashing into the three as they fell down at a high speed. When they hit the ground, a mushroom cloud formed where everyone covered their eyes. When the dust clear, a light formed and Incineroar was standing on the beaten forms of Charizard, Electivire and Serperior.
"CHARIZARD, ELECTIVIRE AND SERPERIOR ARE BATTLE! INCINEROAR WINS THE BATTLE ROYALE!"
Everyone cheered but no one was louder than Gardevior, much to the amusement to the other aces.
"And that's that! Everyone…"
Soon the two began doing the Masked Royale's pose.
"ENJOY!"
"ENJOY!" Responded the crowd.
The party was over and soon all of the inhabitants went home, enjoying the party.
"So you guys enjoyed Alola?" Ash said.
"HEck yeah! That was one awesome party!" Misty said with a grin.
"And even more awesome that you are now a champion!" Brock said with a grin.
"Thanks guys!" Ash said
"Just don't slack off OK. I want the chance to beat you, OK?" Paul said with a smirk
"Same here" Alain and Trip said simultaneously.
"Don't worry. I will" Ash said with a grin. Soon everyone boarded the plane and it flew off into the air.
Ash was then approached by the other champions.
"That was an amazing battle, Ash." Leon complimented
Ash lost count on how many times he said thanks.
"You know…It is going to get harder." Lance said
"We got to set up the league and Elite 4." Steven said
"Come up with a challenge to do the LEague." Wallace added
"And make sure that no one tries to take over." Cynthia remarked.
Ash nodded with a serious look.
"Well…At least I have you guys to help me along the way."
"You're damn right!" Leon said with a smirk.
"And besides…Soon you'll see how chaotic our lives are." Diantha also smirked.
Ash returned the smirk with his own.
"Oh please. I live a chaotic life. I think I can manage"
Soon the eight champions went their separate ways.
What a celebration!
HOLY SHIT! I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED THIS CHAPTER!

Blackflame Beatdown: Flame Charge + Darkest Lariat + Close Combat. (Incineroar ignites a FLame Charge then a Darkest Lariat which then turns the flames pitch black with red undertones. He then rushes the opponent to unleash a flurry of punches against the opponent.

Growing Feelings.
"You were really something, you know" Gardevior said as she approached Incineroar, who was currently nursing a bandage on his stomach.
"Thanks" Incineroar spoke
"If you want, I can heal you." She Offered
"That will be useful."
Incineroar then stood up as Gardevior began to let out a Heal Pulse on his stomach. He could feel the wound heal, while Gardevior felt the muscle on his torso.
It was like stone. She gulped as she blushed as she continued to heal.
But she ended up leaning too far and soon tripped over her feet. Incineroar caught her by the waist while she wrapped her arms around his neck. Soon they gazed into each other's eyes, their hearts racing.
As they stood there, they moved closer, closer until
"HEY! ARE YOU DONE! HE PROMISED ME A SPAR!" Kommo-O's voice broke the trance and soon they separated, flushed faces showing their embarrassment.
"Umm...I should..." Incineroar stuttered as he made his way to the door.
"Thanks for healing me." He said with a smile.
Gardevior's face blushed
"You're welcome..." She said as she placed a hand on her heart, feeling it beat faster.
She was clearly falling for him.
