Ash's Pokémon for this Chapter: Pikachu, Gengar, Kommo-O, Glalie, Krookodile, Golisopod
In a private jet in the sky, both Lance and Ash were flying to Kanto.
"Since you are now champion, the rest of us agreed for you to meet up with the rest of the Elites and spend some quality time with them." Lance said as he sat across from the newly minted champion of Alola.
"Really?" Ash asked in curiosity, tilting his head as he did so. Pikachu did the same.
"Yes. In fact, the Kanto Elite is interested to meet you." Lance said with a smile.
"Really?! COOL!' Ash said with sparkles in his eyes. Then he thought of something. 'Wait. I only met three of them. Isn't there another one?" Ash asked.
"Yep. A ground type user. Pretty powerful trainer. He also runs a biker gang in Kanto. We went through a lot of reparations after we found the leader of Team Rocket and he left the Viridian Gym. We found a replacement but…"
"Yeah." Ash frowned. He knew who he was talking about. He met the bastard once.
"But let's not think about that. We have Elites to meet." Lance said with a smile. Ash grinned as the plane soared to the Indigo Plateau.
Waiting inside the building were four people.
The first was a 28-year old woman with red hair and red eyes covered with a pair of glasses dressed in a red t-shirt under a blue jacket, a black pencil skirt and black heels.
The next was a 30-year old man with a stocky build, like that of a wrestler, with a messy mane of black hair done in a ponytail and narrowed black eyes. He had a pair of studded bracelets and white hakama pants.
Third was a 66-year old woman with messy blonde hair that looked gray and black eyes which held a sense of mirth. She was dressed in a purple dress with a white apron plus black boots. She held a walking stick in his hand.
Finally was a 39-year old man with a shaved head of black hair plus brown eyes along with tanned skin. He had a goatee on his face. He had a stocky build with large muscles. He wore a white muscle shirt under a black leather vest. He also had blue jeans and black biker boots.
"So who is this kid we are waiting for?" The shaved head man said with a grunt.
"Now, Quake. Have patience. This child is the new Alola champion and is someone Goodshow has had an eye on for a long time. In fact, he is someone we also like as well." the old lady said.
Quake just raised an eyebrow.
"So he beats a champion on his home turf? So what? He's still an upstart of a kid. Until I battle him, I ain't gonna have my hopes up." He grunted.
"Agatha, you know Quake. Until he sees it, he won't believe it." The red head spoke.
"True Lorelei." Agatha said before turning to the muscle man.
"What's wrong Bruno?" Agatha asked.
"I just hope Ash brings along some fighting types to test my skills." Bruno said as he clenched his fists.
"Have patience, Bruno. You know Ash is willing to battle you." Lorelei said.
Bruno smirked.
"True. Didn't expect our chaos magnet would become champion after that disaster in Kanto."
Quake meanwhile just looked at them as they were singing the kid's praises.
"WOnder what is so amazing about this kid? Well, when he gets here I may find out." he thought to himself.
Soon the plane landed and Lance came out, greeting the kanto elites.
"Hello everyone." He greeted with a smile
"Hey Lance. So how was Alola?" Lorelei asked with a smile.
"It was amazing. Sunny skies, clear seas, white sandy beaches." Lance listed off.
"And our regional chaos magnet managed to become the champion." Agatha said with a cackle.
"Yep. So you saw the match?" Lance said with a smirk.
"Damn straight. He had come a long way since Kanto." Bruno said with his arms crossed but a smile on his face.
Soon Quake came up to them
"So where is this kid? I wanna see what we are dealin' with." Quake grunted.
"Patience Quake. You may be new, but Ash is someone that can worm into your heart." Agatha said to the biker.
Quake just raised his eyebrow. This should be interesting.
Soon the plane landed and Lance had just exited the plane. He was soon greeted by the rest of his elites.
"Well, well. Back from Alola soon?" Lorelei said with a smirk.
"Yep!' Lance said with the same smirk. 'Nice sandy beaches, crystal clear seas…"
"Our favourite chaos magnet is the Alola League champion" Agatha finished for him.
"That's true. The battle he did was AMAZING!" He declared with a happy smile.
"Of course. We all saw the match. The child has come a long way since the Indigo League." Agatha said with a cackle.
"Those tactics he used showed adaption and initiative. He has skill and growing potential in him to become a champion." Bruno also added with a grin.
"That is true. With more experience, he can be one of the greats." Lance said with a smile.
Unfortunately…there is always one downer.
"Enough with all the praises. Where the hell is this kid?" Quake asked with a grunt.
"OK, OK. I'll show you him." Lance said.
Soon, Ash walked out the plane with a breath of the air.
"HELLLLLOOOO KANTO! IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK!" Ash said with a cheer, Pikachu also said with a happy 'Pika!'
"Wow. Just…Wow." Quake said with a deadpan look. He was really enthusiastic.
"Ash! Down here!" Lance waved him down as the young champ leapt down the stairs.
"Hey guys!" Ash said as three of the four went to Ash.
"Well, well. Never thought we would see you again! And as a champ to boot!" Bruno said as he rubbed his head.
"You have come a long way, young child. I hope you haven't slacked off." Agatha said with a grin.
"Oh, I haven't. In fact, let's have a battle!" Ash said with a grin.
"Well, some things haven't changed," Lorelei said with a smile.
Ash then saw Quake, arms crossed and looking at him with a critical gaze.
"So you're the new member?" Ash said with his face to his.
"Yeah…" Quake said with an even tone.
"COOL! What type of Pokémon do you use? How do you battle? Can we have a battle to?!" Ash said with stars in his eyes.
Quake was simply blinded by the bright smile he had on his face.
"Ok…I can see why they like this kid. That smile can light a dark alley."
Lance then went over and dragged the kid back.
"OK, back it up. Let's head inside." Lance said as he laughed nervously. Soon all of the elite went inside the league building.
Inside the six were discussing the match and how things have been within their lives. From battles to social lives, they were discussing everything.
"-So yeah, I finally got those three to work together and we had a proper battle royale! I still beat them though." As said as they talked about the battle royale.
"So, you combined the moves of your Pokemon for results?" Lorelei said with a hand on her cheek as she looked at him.
"Yep. A mix of moves have all sorts of results." he said with a laugh.
"Ahhh you youngsters. Always coming up with all sorts of gimmicks." Agatha said with a snicker.
"I'm more interested in that battle aura of that Kommo-o of yours. How did you do that?" Bruno asked as he munched on his steak.
"It was a complete accident. I can show you when I get the chance to." Ash asked.
"Nice.' Bruno then looked at Quake. 'What about you? What do you want to say?"
Quake finished his drink and said this:
"Why don't I spend some time with the kid? I wanna see his skills." Quake said with a grin.
"You know…that can work. Why not have Ash spend the day with you? It's always nice to see what the other elites do in their lives." Lance said with a thoughtful look.
"Well, I want to go first." Agatha said as she stood up.
"I know about another spirit you had saved from total loneliness." She said which confused Ash.
"Huh?"
Agatha simply hit him on the head.
"Oh, don't try it. I know you have someone who was abandoned and you saved him from despair." She clarified, pointing to one of his PokéBalls. That was when Ash's eyes widened in realisation.
"OH YEAH!" Ash said as he took out a ball.
"Gengar! Come on out!" he said, flinging it into the air and out popped the purple ghost.
"GEN-GARRR!" He snickered as he floated behind his trainer. Agatha's eyes widened before walking over.
"Oh my. You have my ace as a teammate." Agatha said as she approached the ghost, staring into his eyes.
Gengar then began to make faces at the old lady, bringing his tongue out and pulling his eyelids as an attempt to scare her.
"Gengar. Really?" Ash sighed with a sweatdrop.
"You seem to have been through a journey of abandonment, haven't you?" Agatha began as Gengar's eyes widened as she was right.
"Something about? Bad luck?" Agatha said as Gengar remembered the reason his old trainer left him at the Institute.
"But you met someone new. When One Life Ends…' Agatha didn't get to finish when Ash finished the sentence.
"...Another one begins. Cynthia told me that back in Sinnoh. And yeah, it's true. If it weren't for him abandoning this guy, we wouldn't have met." Ash said with a smile.
"GEEN-GAR!" Gengar said with a happy smile as he floated around in bliss.
The other four looked on.
"Uhhh…is there something wrong with this guy?" Quake asked his comrades with a sweatdrop.
"Ash's pokémon are like that. Remember when that Rowlet fell asleep mid battle?" Lorelei reminded him.
"Let's see how strong this fellow is. Gengar VS Gengar! One on one!" Agatha said with a grin.
"My pleasure!" Ash said as Gengar and Pikachu smiled in anticipation.
"OK! It's a one on one battle between Gengars! No substitutions! You ready?" Lance said
"Of course."
"Let's do it!"
"Battle begin!" he announced as Agatha released her Gengar.
"Seniority first! Thunderbolt!"
AG! Gengar soo began to spark as he unleashed a blast of lightning to Ash's gengar..
"Go invisible! And launch Shadow Ball!"
AK! Gengar soon did just that as AG! Gengar looked around for his opponent. Suddenly…
*BOOM!*
An orb of ghostly energy soon shot to his back as AK! Gengar reappeared.
"GEN-GEN-GEN-GEN-GEN!" He snickered while his opponent glared back.
"Interesting tactic. But not good enough! Use Shadow Punch!"
AG! Gengar's fist soon sunk into the ground and another portal opened up and a giant fist soon came out, socking AK! Gengar in the jaw.
"One thing you should know, young child, is that you never let an opponent regain his footing. Now Thunderbolt!" She said with a grin.
Soon, AG! Gengar let loose a stream of electricity to the dizzy ghost as AK! Gengar was soon shocked by the electricity.
"Gengar! You OK?!" Ash called as his Gengar righted itself in the air.
"Now use Ice Punch!" Ash called as AK! Gengar rushed forward with an ice cold fist, bringing down an ice cold fist. But AG! Gengar dodged as an ice pillar formed on the ground.
"Nice try! Thunderbolt!" soon another stream of electricity formed and flowed straight to AK! Gengar but gengar floated in an arc.
"Use Shadow Ball! Back to back!" Ash Ordered as his Gengar began to fire orb after orb of ghostly energy.
"Not happening! Thunderbolt!" Soon AG! Agatha began shooting beams of lightning which collided with the orbs of black energy. Smoke soon formed, covering both the trainers' eyes.
"Ice Punch!"
AK! Gengar rushed through the smoke and slammed a fist right into AG! Gengar's face, sending him to the wall. He floated up.
"Well, I can see that you have improved since the last time." Agatha complimented.
"Thanks!" Ash said with a grin.
"But, you forget the true power of the Ghosts…The ability to give you nightmares! NOW HYPNOSIS!" Agatha commanded as her Gengar's eyes shone and struck Ash's with the sleep spell.
"AWWW NUTS! I FORGOT THAT!" Ash spoke in a panicked tone
"Welp. He's boned." Quake said in a knowing manner.
"It's been fun and you have improved…but now let's end this shall we? DREAM EATER!"
Soon, AG! Gengar let lose a spectral image to the sleeping opponent. Suddenly.
"GEN!" Gengar soon felt the dreams being eaten as his eyes widened and dilated as he was sent back out cold.
"Ash's Gengar is unable to battle! The winner is Agatha's Gengar!"
Ash just sighed.
"Can't win 'em all. Great match, Agatha." Ash said as his Gengar slowly stood up.
Agatha smiled as she took his hand.
"You have definitely improved over the years. And that Gengar is powerful. I also sense something about yours. Something…special." she said cryptically.
Ash, Pikachu and Gengar just looked confused.
"I would say go to Galar to find out the riddle to my advice." She said as she went back.
Soon Bruno, Lorelei, Quake and Lance walked up to them.
"Impressive battle kid. You definitely got spunk on the field." Quake complimented.
"Thanks." Ash said when suddenly he felt a hand on his head.
"How's about you come with me and roll with my boys for a bit?" he said with a scary tone.
Ash gulped at the tone.
Lorelei simply smacked the biker on the back of the head.
"Don't scare the kid. Let's go to the Seafoam Islands and do some training. YOu could use some endurance training, kid." Lorelei said with a kind smile.
"Oh yes please!" Ash said, eager to get away from Quake.
As the two walked off, he was wacked over the head by Agatha.
"You scared the child!" She scolded.
Ash was now with Lorelei at the Seafoam Islands, the cold temperature making him feel chills as he wrapped himself in his winter jacket. Pikachu was inside his coat as well, while Lorelei just looked unbothered.
"W-Wh-Why are we here?" He stuttered from the cold.
"Endurance training of course. I come here to help increase my Pokémon and my stamina. Helps them last longer in battle. And you're going to do the same thing." Lorelei clarified.
"Are you going to strip down or something?" Ash asked, to which she looked abashed.
"What do you think this is? A reenactment of Fairy Tail?! Besides, LAnce would kill me if I did that. No. We are going to surf all the way to the iceberg over there." She said, pointing to the giant snowy iceberg.
"WE HAVE TO GO THERE?!" Ash yelled comically.
Both were surfing all the way to the iceberg, with Ash on Golisopod and Lorelei on a blue plesiosaur with a grey shell as it had a grin on its face.
"Enjoying the ride?" Lorelei said with a smirk.
"WHY SAY THAT WHEN I AM ON MY GOLISOPOD?!" He yelled.
"Don't worry. Here you can also learn how to time your attacks as the zubats and Golbats come." She said as she then threw another PokéBall, revealing a purple shell with a rather creepy face inside.
"Cloy!" It bellowed in a deep voice.
"Hey, Cloyster!" Ash said as he remembered the pokemon.
The Bivalve Pokémon greeted him as he rode the waves.
"Say Ash. Do you have a Pokémon that can handle this cold?" Lorelei asked.
"Sure do! Glalie, let's go!" Ash said as she threw his PokéBall into the air. It then revealed a white head with black spots and two black drill-like horns with eyes that had an ice blue sclera and a toothy mouth.
"GLALIE!" It roared before diving to Ash, nuzzling him.
"I'm glad to see you too, buddy. But be careful! We may fall in." Ash said as he patted the happy Face Pokémon
"A Glalie? Interesting." Lorelei said as she approached the ice type.
"I sense potential." She said, rubbing one of his horns much to his delight.
Soon, they managed to reach the snowy iceberg where both trainer and Pokémon leapt onto the berg on opposite sides.
"Now Ash! How about we have a double battle? Let's see how well you can handle the cold of the Seafoam Islands!" Lorelei declared.
"Yeah! Let's do this thing!" He said as both Golisopod and Glalie got ready to fight, with Cloyster and Lapras doing the same.
However…
"UUUNNNNOOOO!"
The trill soon caught their ears and soon they turned to see the cause. A giant ice blue bird with long, ribbon like tail feathers appeared as he shot a glare at the two trainers.
Lorelei knew who this was.
"Articuno…" she whispered.
Almost immediately, Articuno fired a beam of cold light at the two, causing them to jump away.
"What the?! Why did it attack us?!" Ash yelled.
"It must've thought we were intruders!" Lorelei replied as she also leapt out of the way.
Articuno's wings then shone as it dove down and swiped with his wings.
"Articuno, relax! We aren't here to cause trouble!" Ash spoke to the Blizzard Pokémon but it wasn't working as Articuno started to flap its wings, causing a huge hurricane to form, blinding them a bit.
"Grr..No choice! Ash! We need to battle it!" Lorelei said with Cloyster and Lapras getting into position
"Right! Pikachu! Golisopod! Glalie! LEt's go!" Ash said as his Pokémon primed themselves for battle.
"Let's make this fair. Go! Jynx!" She said as she threw her PokéBall, revealing a bipedal female Pokemon with black skin, blonde hair and pink lips with a red and golden dress.
"OK guys! Let's show this bird the power of an ice queen!" She declared.
"Golisopod! First Impression!" Ash said as the bipedal insect blurred from sight. Articuno let out a startled chirp before the claws smashed into its chest, sending it back.
"Pikachu! Quick Attack!"
"Jynx! Give Pikachu a boost with Psychic!"
As Pikachu rocketed to the Articuno, Jynx's eyes glowed as she gave a psionic boost, rocketing the mouse like a missile, striking in the same position Golisopod did earlier. Annoyed, Articuno unleashed an ice beam at the crowd to which Ash was prepared for.
"Glalie! Ice Beam!"
Glalie soon charged ice from between the horns and fired. The two beams clashed but it was clear that Articuno was stronger as it overpowered the floating face, striking him.
"GLA!" He grunted before righting himself.
Lorelei decided to attack next.
"Cloyster! Spike Cannon!" She said as the spikes glowed and shot forward. Articuno managed to dodge three of them but the other two struck it on the back, sending it forward.
"You're mine! Glalie! Headbutt! Pikachu, hitch a ride!" Ash commanded as Glalie shot forward with the electric rodent on his back.
Articuno soon charged a steel wing and knocked Galie back but Pikachu was already in the air.
"Light it up! Thunderbolt!" Ash said as Pikachu soon unleashed a powerful thunderbolt on the bird as it shrieked in pain. Lorelei looked impressed
"Nice power. But let me show you how its done. Lapras! Thunder!" Soon, the blue plesiosaur began to spark and soon summoned a bolt of lightning, which struck the bird dead on.
"WOAH!" Ash said with stars in his eyes.
"You like?" Lorelei said with a smirk
"Yeah! But first…Golisopod! Aqua Jet!" Soon, Golisopod charged while surrounded by a veil of water slamming straight into the chest.
"Now Pikachu! Iron Tail!" Ash commanded as he soon leapt up with a silver tail and smashed it on the head.
"Jynx! Shadow Ball, rapid fire!" Lorelei commanded as Jynx fired balls of ghostly energy.
"Allow me! Pikachu! Ion Tail and bat them forward!" Ash declared as Pikachu did that, sending each one like a high speed baseball. ENraged, Articuno struck with a steel wing on Pikachu, which had an unfortunate effect of causing static to activate.
Meanwhile, Glalie watched on in awe and dread. Ash and Pikachu had boosted a lot over the years. No wonder he became champion. But here he was…getting smacked like a rag doll.
"Hey Glalie! Aren't you going to attack as well?!"
Glalie saw his trainer stare at him with his usual grin.
"COme on! YOu gotta get in on this! You are one of mine!"
"Glai?!"
"Just because you haven't got any good hit in, you want to quit?! How about you weather the storm and push through?" Lorelei said.
Glalie was considering this when suddenly, Articuno began to screech furiously as he glowed an ice blue.
"Oh no! It's charging up a sheer cold!" Lorelei said in a panicked tone.
"Everyone! Dodge!" Both trainers called out but the ice bird unleashed a total white out on all of the trainers. They all covered their eyes as the cold blizzard covered the field.
When their eyes opened, all of their Pokemon were out cold and encased in ice.
All but Glalie.
"Lai?" Glalie spoke in shock
Articuno glared at the face while Glalie tried to do the same.
"Guess it's all up to Glalie." Lorelei said as she returned her Pokémon.
"Yeah. Glalie! You ready?" Ash said as Glalie nodded in confirmation.
"Now, Double Team!"
Glalie soon formed formless doubles of himself, which confused the bird.
"Now for a combo! Headbutt and Double Team for the Multi-Bash Assault!"
Soon the copies began to charge forward striking everywhere they could. The attacks impacted his body before Articuno used Hurricane and dispelled them all.
"Icy Wind!"
Glalie's mouth soon let out a gust of cold wind as it covered the bird, who just looked at him with a deadpanned look.
Ash just sweated.
"That didn't work…"
Lorelei just looked at him with a look that said…
"No(!)"
Articuno seemed mad at the insult and soon smacked him down into the iceberg with Steel Wing. He was then held down by the claw.
"GLALIE!"
PokéSpeech
"D…Damn it. Is this how I'm gonna lose?!" Glalie grunted from the pressure
"Did you really think you could take me? The Blizzard Wind?! FOOL! You are just a weak ice type with only one trick!" Articuno yelled as he pressed harder.
"NOW YOU BELONG UNDER MY CLAWS LIKE THE BUG-TYPE YOU ARE!"
Glalie closed his eyes as he tried to ignore the pain
'Crap…he's right. All I did was float around, pranking the others. Ash became a champion and they all managed to strike at the bird. All I did was get hit. Can I ever measure up?!' Was the thought going through his head.
"GLALIE!"
Glalie saw his trainer with a determined look.
"Get up! You are going to let this bird take you down?!"
Glalie watched with wide eyes.
"I may not have used you a lot and I take fault for that! But you have more power inside you than you think! Find your resolve and unleash it against Articuno!"
Glalie soon began to think about what he said.
"Damn it, he's right! I was MVP of the friggin' Hoenn League! I beat down a Charizard and a Metang on my own! There is no way that I am going to lose to some overgrown frozen turkey!"

With a roar of determination, Glalie managed to shake off Articuno and shot out of the ice with a roar.
Articuno glared at the ice type, swooping in with a Steel Wing.
"Now spin with Headbutt! Like in the Hoenn League against Morrison!"
Glalie did just that as he began to spin like a top. However, the tops of his horns glowed silver as he continued to spin.
"My oh my…Looks like someone learnt Gyro Ball." Lorelei smiled.
"AWESOME! Now attack with Gyro Ball!" Ash said with a fist pump.
Glalie's spin soon met the steel wings of Articuno as sparks flew when they clashed. With a roar of determination, Glalie overpowered the bird, sending him back.
"Alright! Now use Ice Beam!" Ash said. However, Glalie soon began to charge a violet beam in his mouth.
"Wait, that's not Ice Beam." Ash said in confusion.
"You're right. That's HYPER BEAM!" Lorelei said in confirmation
Articuno soon began to charge another sheer cold
"Glalie! HYPER BEAM!"
Both blasts fired and collided in the air, colliding as the power clashed and warped the area.
Both struggled but with a strong roar of determination, the Hyper Beam overpowered the Sheer Cold, slamming right into the chest of Articuno and sending him straight into the iceberg, a large explosion formed.
When it subsided, Articuno fell forward, out cold.
Panting, Glalie's eyes widened as he realised that…he just beat a legendary.
And it wasn't just him.
Ash, Lorelei and all of their Pokémon who had recovered also saw it happen.
"Did…Did that just happen?" Ash said in a shaky tone
"Yeah kid. Your Glalie…KO'd a legendary…" Lorelei said in the same manner.
Silence…then…
"YOU DID IT!" Ash cheered as he rushed to the face along with Pikachu and Golisopod.
"THAT WAS AMAZING! YOU ARE SO AWESOME!"/PI-PIKA!" Ash and Pikachu exclaimed.
Glalie was so happy that he roared in victory.
It was then they noticed something shining in the ice.
"Huh? What the?" Ash said as he went to pick it up.
"No way…" Lorelei said in a shaky tone.
"A Glalitite?" Ash said before a smile took over his face.
Soon all three leapt into the air in celebration.
"I JUST GOT A GLALITITE!" Ash proclaimed.
Pikachu and Glalie also cheered.
Lorelei just smiled
He really came a long way.
As soon as they got back, both were soon fussed over and scolded by the others for facing a legendary. But they all managed to get a rest, with Glalie getting special treatment for his amazing feat, the new Mega Stone wrapped around his head.
In a rocky area, Ash was with Bruno, who looked over the rocky area.
"Ahhh, you see what I see?" Bruno said with a smile.
"A large canyon?" Ash said with a cute tilt with Pikachu doing the same.
"Yes! But it is also where I train with my fighting types. Large rocks for strength and stamina, falling rock slides to test reflexes and wild Pokemon for moves. Clearly! A field fit of a battler!" He then laughed boisterously while Ash and Pikachu just sweatdropped.
"But more importantly…I want to refine that Kommo-o of yours. And learn that boost you did against Diantha!"
That caught his attention.
"You mean the move booster? Sure!' Ash then took out a PokéBall then flung it into the air 'Kommo-o! Let's Go!"
Soon the scaly Dragon emerged from his ball as he roared.
"Yes! Perfect! Now then, go Machamp!" Bruno proclaimed as he flung his capsule, releasing a blue, muscular man with a duck face and four arms while wearing a black speedo.
"Now then! Let's go!" Bruno said as he climbed onto Machamp's back and he leapt into the cavern.
"Welp, can't keep them waiting. Kommo-o!' Ash then leapt on his dragon's back. 'Let's go!"
Kommo-o let out a roar then leapt into the cavern.
Soon both trainers caught the attention of the local rock types in the cavern and they were having the time of their lives as both Machamp, Kommo-o and Pikachu began to tear through the wild attackers.
Machamp began to rumble against a Rhydon that was charging and unleashed a powerful bullet punch, much like a JoJo CHaracter then used Superpower to launch it at some Gravelers.
Kommo-o used Thunder Punch on some of the Golbats as he did diving punches on them then blasted Flash Cannons at any poor Rock types that came his way. One tried to crash into him but Kommo-o held it back then launched a point blank Aura Sphere at him sending him back before unleashing a powerful Draco Meteor as it rained down on them all.
Not wanting to miss out, Pikachu leapt up and electrocuted several Golbats that came. He then sped past a lot of Gravelers then used Iron Tail on an Onix before running along its back. Pikachu then used Quick Attack and slammed into a Croat before leaping back to his trainer.
"You OK, buddy?" Ash said as he got a positive pika from his partner.
"I see you haven't been slacking off. Come on! Let's rush through!" Bruno said with a grin.
"YEAH!" They all yelled as they continued to charge.
After a while they all rested on the top of a valley cliff.
"Man…That was a rush!" Ash panted as both Pikachu and Kommo-o drank their water from their bowls.
"Yep. Nothing like a life and death situation to push you to the top." Bruno chuckled as Machamp munched on some Oran Berries.
As they were eating Bruno also decided to ask the one thing on his mind.
"So, can you explain how you did that power boost you did with Kommo-o?"
All three smirked and soon Ash began to explain the power boost with Kommo-o giving a demonstration.
Finally on a motorcycle, Quake and Ash were riding to a destination.
Ash looked at the biker in curiosity. He never met this guy in his life and from what Lance told him.
"So, Quake? Where are we going?" Ash asked. He turned and gave a scary grin.
"Just some friends of mine…" Quake spoke ominously.
This freaked the pair out.
Soon, they came across their destination. A large building. When they entered…
"HEY GUYS! QUAKE'S BACK!"
Soon several people around Ash's age and a few adults swarmed up to him, all wearing the same jacket as Quake.
"What's up you crazy boneheads?!" He said with a grin
Soon they all began to clamour around their boss, asking about his day and if he brought them anything. All the while Ash watched on in confusion.
"Who are these kids?" Ash thought.
Suddenly one of them noticed Ash staring at them.
"Hey, who the hell is this clown?" One of the boys asked. He had a black pompadour and wore a white T-shirt, black jeans and boots. Soon he was surrounded by the others who sized him up.
"That is the new Alola League Champion. Lance wanted me to spend time with him. And well, from what I heard, he is a skilled battler. I wanna introduce him to you guys."
"Hey boss, if this kid is here he needs to see how well he can roll with you." One of the girls said.
"Yep. Time for a One Minute Mash-Up." Quake said as he held a PokéBall, grinning as he did.
"When do we start?" Ash said as he held a ball as well.
"OK! The rules are simple. Both trainers will battle for one minute! If the challenger wins or holds his own for the whole minute, you earn his respect. You get your ass kicked in ten seconds and you are a joker! Now pick your Pokémon!
"Krookodile! I choose You!"
"Nidoking! Bury him alive!"
The first was a bipedal crocodile, with a long snout coloured purple and black with a white underbelly with a pair of red sunglasses covering his eyes
The other was a bipedal purple reptile-like being with large spines on his back and a white underbelly as well as white claws. It also had two upward fangs.
"Hope you are ready kid…' Quake said with a grin. 'I'm gonna bury you in minute flat!"
Soon the ref began.
"Ready?! Let the Minute Mashup….BEGIN!"
"Nidoking! Ice Punch!"
"Counter with Dragon Claw!"
An aqua coloured claw and an ice blue fist soon clashed in the air, with Krookodile wincing from the damage before leaping back.
"Use Stone Edge!"
Krookodile roared and slammed his claw onto the ground, causing spires of stone glowing blue to shoot up towards Nidoking who grunted from the attack.
"Earthquake!"
Nidoking then jumped as was about to land when
"Aerial Ace and dodge!"
Krookodile soon held his arms out and began to run. Just as Nidoking was about to land, Krookodile leapt into the air and dodged the quaking ground before clotheslining the poison type, sending him to the ground.
"Dragon Claw!"
Soon Krookodile began to rush forward with glowing claws, dragging them along the ground, then slashing them upwards onto his torso. Nidoking was skidding backwards.
"DAMN! That was brutal! Now feel the burn! Flamethrower!"
Nidoking opened his mouth and let loose a torrent of flames towards the crocodile.
"Stone Edge Shield!"
Krookodile then summoned the stone pillars which blocked the flames.
"Now leap over and use Crunch!"
Krookodile bounded over the pillars and dove down, jaws open.
"Not this time! Time for a frozen knuckle sandwich on the house! Ice Punch!"
With quick reactions, Nidoking punched Krookodile square in the jaw, sending him back.
"Krookodile! You OK?!" Ash asked
Krookodile got up and spat out some ice, growling.
"Nice! Now use Sludge Bomb!"
"Dodge!"
Unfortunately, Krookodile was too slow and got a face full of sludge, poisoning him dearly.
"Oh no!"
Quake smiled.
"30 seconds left! Time to take him to the cleaners! Ice Punch!"
Nidoking rushed forward with an icy fist and was about to slam Krookodile with an ice cold fist. Before Ash and Pikachu could say anything…Krookodile grabbed the fist with a claw.
"Krookodile?!"
As Krookodile looked up, something was wrong. Krookodile glared from behind his glasses, a red aura surrounding him.
"15 Seconds…" The ref said as he saw the red aura in shock.
Suddenly…
"KKKRRRRROOOOOOOOOK!" Krookodile roared as he pummelled Nidoking with his claws, tail, legs and head with the rage of a beast. Nidoking began to feel each hit strike him as he was sent back when finally one uppercut sent the poison type flying before Krookodile spun around and slammed him with his tail, sending him flying into a tree.
Nidoking was out cold, covered in splinters.
"No way…was that Outrage?!" Ash said with a large smile. Krookodile soon began to spiral as he saw Duckletts fly above his head.
"Wow. That is one tough trainer." Quake said as he returned his Pokémon. He then saw Ash hug the calmed ground type.
"So boss? This kid has proven himself?" One of the adults asked.
"YEah. Kid's earned my respect." He said with a smile.
It was now Sunset and both Ash and Lance were at the airport, with Ash now wearing a brand new leather jacket.
"Well it was nice to see you again, young one." Agatha said with a cackle.
"I know. It's great to see you guys as well." Ash said as he looked at Lorelei and Agatha. He then turned to look at Quake.
"And kid. Come ride with us when you get back to Kanto. The Tremor Terrors would like to see you again." Quake said with a grin.
"Sure.' Then Ash frowned a bit as he tried to find Bruno. 'But where's Bruno?"
"On the plane.' Lance said as he stepped out. 'He's also part of the Johto Elite 4 and I need his help for some business in Johto."
"Really? Cool!" Ash said as he went inside. As the doors closed, Ash waved goodbye as it took off.
As soon as it went into the sky, Quake decided to speak.
"I can see why you two like him. He's someone you just can't hate."
Agatha smiled. "True. Let's hope he can manage his new duties as Champion."
Lorelei smiled
"I think Ash can manage."
Anyways, as you can see, I decided to create a new Elite 4 member.
Meet Quake, the Ground Type Specialist. He is the leader of a biker gang that makes sure other criminals don't try and run his region to the ground. He owns an orphanage and helps manage kids into getting back into society with proper skills with a lot of them joining his crew.

But why I have Ash lose to Agatha? Ans: Agatha has more experience. Ash may be champ. But he is still young.
