And wow I can't believe I'm late to say it but yes. 'Shang Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings' was awesome! 😄. And I will probably use him for a story in this series later on. Just not in this current story. For now I habe a house hold favorite coming up in this chapter.

Not yet. If you read the title than you know who. Also originally I planned for it to take place before the ps4 game started, but now I decided for it to take place after, like before Peter and MJ kissed and made up. but after Aunt May's conclusion.
"Spoilers for those who are two to three years late to play Spider-Man ps4." Maverick remarked.
I figured also it would tie in better to not only let Spider-Man have his Advanced Suit with the white Spider, including all of the gadgets he has. But this will also blend in perfectly for a part in Sora ans Kairo's journey. One that you've all been waiting for. I've said that I was going to save it for the end. But mow I figure it's taken long enough.
"You don't mean..." Maverick's eyes lit up.

Sorry he and Xion won't join the team until later, like for the finale at the Nobodies home world. So it won't be over crowd for the rest of the visits. Also I wanted to add a reason for why Ansem the Wise had a change of heart later. And yeah that fourth wall break was intentional. 😉

Amazing Fantasy.
Seven years ago on the Destiny Islands...
It was an eventful Halloween night at the beach strip. But instead of everyone wearing bikinis and swim trunks. Everyone was in costume. Some frightening for fun and some that were bright and colorful. Balloons, pumpkin Jack o Lanterns and decorations everywhere of every shape. Black Kitties and bats for extra measure. The Islands were filled with festivities horror and thrill for all ages.
Advertisements of different candy franchises like Hershey's and Skittles were being given from every goodie booth, free for Trick Or Treaters. But a certain trio were out around the neighborhood going for the big scores. And this time they had a costume creative for a certain franchise.
"Come on Riku!" Sora called out as the nine year old Trick Or Treater dressed up as Spider-Man yelled out in excitement and ran down the sidewalk. Of course he was still wearing his big red sneakers underneath. No one was sure why Sora had a thing for big shoes.
"Alright! Hold your tights Web Head, we're coming!" Riku responded while calling him with Spider-Man's nickname. How Sora has this much energy he'll never know.
"What are we gonna do with that kid?" Kairi said in amusement. While holding her Jack O Lantern bucket ready to be filled.
Riku was ten years old at the time while wearing a classic Ice Man costume bought from the SuperMarket. His silver hair was easy to blend in with the theme.
And a nine year old Kairi was wearing a Firestar costume also bought from the market, which blended in with her cute red hair.
Basically the little trio decided to dress up as Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends. People across the neighborhood were amused and thought they were funny and cute together.
As they came up to the first house which had a giant pumpkin fog machine on the roof for a haunted effect. This kind of fear chills is welcome during this time of year.
"Alright. Here's our first house. Who's going in first?" Riku asked his friends.
"Dibs!" Kiri chirped loudly.
"Awe!" Sora sulked as he didn't say dibs first.
"Sorry Spider-Boy. Ladies first." Kairi said with sass as she walked up to the front door and knocked.
Kairi knocked on the door and when it opened, she held out her pumpkin bucket and beamed."Trick or Treat!" in an innocent like child voice that'll warm your heart.
"Awe. Here you go sweetheart." A middle aged woman beamed as she filled Kairi's bag a quarter full.
Then Kairi smiled brightly and skipped away humming as she caught up with her friends. As they came up to the house next door.
"My turn!" Sora beamed as he ran up to the door and knocked. When the door opened. Sora did the Spidey pose as he aimed his pumpkin bucket and web shooter gloves at the lady who answered.
"Release those sweet captives Villain!" Sora mimicked a deep heroic voice which made the lady chuckle.
"Alright Hun, I surrender. Here are the hostages, Spider-Man." The Lady amusingly filled his bucket at the same amount Kairi had, then Sora came back to join up with his friends
"Jeez. You're about as close to real Spider-Man as Wakka's close to being cool." Riku scoffed with a smirk at how bad Sora was mimicking Spider-Man.
"Yeah." Kairi giggled in agreement.
"What can I say, Spider-Man's my number one favorite hero of them all." Sora said in amusement while carrying his bags. As he didn't get Riku's jest at him. But he let it slide.
"Which you'll repeat and scream until a thousand stars blow up." Kairi teased.
"Guilty." Sora grinned.
"Well I guess you do have a lot in common when Spider-Man, come to think about it." Kairi muses as they walk together.
"A dork with a big heart who likes to wear red?" Riku smirked teasingly. "And has a thing for red?"
Spider-Man did like a beautiful girl with red hair.
"Oh can it Ice Cube!" Sora almost yelled a bit, and nicknamed him since he's dressed as iceman.
"Why Sora, I didn't know you liked red candy." Kairi grinned amusingly while secretly playing with his embarrassment.
"Uh...Yeah! I really like those cherry sours and how they make your mouth turn red after sucking on them." Sora smiled as he didn't get her tease.
"Mine our Rock Pops. You know, the ones that feel like fireworks in your mouth?" Kairi chirped.
"I had those once. I actually freaked out the first time sucking on those, I thought I was choking on a stick of dynamite." Riku recalled.
Then the trio came up to the next house. Which Sora and Kairi thought it was fair for Riku to take this one since they already had the first two houses.
"Your turn icicle." Sora said to Riku so he could get his candy.
"Thanks Wall Crawler." Riku grinned and walked up to the front door.
Sora and Kairi waited on the sidewalk and watched as Riku was getting Candy from a police officer who lived in that house. And He came back with a good amount of Candy and some Spider-Man themed lollipops.
"Look what I got." Riku handed his share of the Spideypops to Kairi and Sora.
"Sweet!" Sora beamed and didn't waste time to receive the spideypop, lift his mask and suck on it and enjoyed the taste
"Wow Riku! What did you say to get these?" Kairi beamed.
"I just told him to freeze. I guess he likes double puns. That, and he could see Sora from the front porch." Riku shrugged with a smirk.
"Again. Guilty." Sora said with a spideypop in his mouth as they walked down the street together.
"You know, I heard that in all other worlds. They share the same sky, and different people share the same destiny." Kairi started a conversation as they walked together that Halloween night.
They always liked to talk about the Multiverse. Going out there to visit other worlds was like a dream for the trio. Ever since Sora and Riku met people like Terra and Aqua, who were both from another world, they never stopped looking for ways to go up there. Even if the stories are rumors from other people. Or theories on the internet.
"I heard that Spider-Man and all of those other heroes exist on another world. Kinda like all those fairy tale and story books Miss Wahlberg likes reading to us." Riku said.
Mr and Mrs Wahlberg were the caretakers that ran the Orphanage Sora, Riku and kairi lived in. The majority of the stories of the Multiverse are shared by theme.
"Really?" Sora's eyes lit up.
"Yeah he's right. But some of those stories probably haven't happened yet. You know like how Mr Wahlberg said that the of the stories some worlds have to tell are shared before they happened?" Kairi recalled while she was licking her Spideypop.
"So Spider-Man could be a baby?" Riku inquired before putting his sucker back in his mouth.
"I don't care. I'd meet a Spider-Baby if I could. A baby Spidey is better than no Spidey." Sora shrugged while his spideypop was in his mouth.
"Really Sora?" Riku raised an eyebrow after taking his spideypop out of his mouth. "Would you be okay to meet a baby Santa?"
"I thought you didn't believe in Santa." Sora scoffed with his spideypop in his mouth.
"So? Do you?" Riku shrugged.
Sora almost spat spideypop out as he gawked.
"No. Santa's for babies." Sora scoffed before putting his lollipop back in.
"YOU TAKE THAT BACK SORA!" Kairi yelled like her entire childhood was offended.
"Ah! I'm sorryKairi! I didn't mean it!" Sora freaked out. He had never seen Kairi angry before, ever.
"Nah just kidding." Kairi dropped her glare and giggled as she pointed at him "You should've seen your face."
"Wait...Was that a jumpscare?!" Sora looked annoyed.
"Yep. Now I know I'm scarier than clowns." Kairi chirped as she looked smug which made Riku laugh a little.
"You might be as well dressed as the Joker for next year, imagine all the candy we could get!" Sora said with the possibility of having more candy than any other kid.
"Joker is a boy you goofball!" Kairi playfully shoved Sora who laughed back. Then she smirked. "If anything. Riku should be Joker next time. He definitely has a talent to get on your nerves and turn your misery into fun."
"I make no apologies." Riku snorted playfully.
"Oh yeah? Well you're still on the list." Sora scoffed back at him.
"What list?" Riku asked, giving him a raised eyebrow look.
"Uh…..I don't know. I read it in one of my comics. I just know it's a threat." Sora shrugged.
"So you made a threat and don't know what it means?" Riku suckered.
"No, I mean I might know what it means. But just in case. Why don't you tell me what it means so I'll know if you're right." Sora made up an excuse.
"Sora you lazy bum. Too busy playing to look it up on the internet?" Kairi scoffed, which made Sora roll his eyes under the mask.
"It basically means you'll remember my face and get back at me later." Riku explained what 'list' means.
"Oh. Okay." Sora nodded.
"Sometimes that 'gangster talk' for you'll kill Riku later." Kairi added.
"Oh!" Sora's eyes lit up, realizing his mistake. Then he shrugged. "Well I'm not a gangster so that doesn't count."
"Nice save." Riku and Kairi snickered at Sora's pathetic way to clean up his threat.
Of which they all laughed together as they continued to walk on through the night from house to house.
Present day. Early morning at Arendelle Castle….
Sora woke up at 6:30 AM after dreaming about one of his best memories with Riku. He sighed as he was still having a hard time trying to get over his death. And he didn't feel good enough to go back to sleep. It's funny. Out of all of the troubles that are in front of him. He's feeling more discouraged about losing his best friend.
So Sora got out of bed. Grabbed his shoes and went out of his guest room to get some air. He went down the halls and out towards the castle gardens, to have a better environment to clear his mind. He saw the greenhouse straight ahead of the walkway. The same greenhouse we're Elsa and Aiden liked to have picnics together. And the same greenhouse where they first connected.
Sora figured it would be a perfect place to think properly. But fortunately for him He wasn't the only one who had the same idea.
But then Sora furrowed his eyebrows curiously the moment he opened the door to the green house. Because he heard the sound of sniffing and silent sobs.
It was Kairi. She was at the green house sitting at the picnic table silently crying alone. Because she's mourning for Riku as well. She was so busy trying to be strong for Sora cause he was in pain in more ways than one, since they know each other longer.
In many ways, they're all family in all but blood.
Kairi never got the time or opportunity to properly mourn for Riku.
"Kairi? Are you okay?" Sora asked which startled her a little as she looked up with tears in her eyes. She quickly wiped them off.
"Sora? I thought you'd be in bed." Kairi rasped in a hoarse voice.
"I was about to say that too." Sora said as he sat next to her.
"Sorry. I guess I never had time for this." Kairi sniffed as she crossed her arms while looking down.
Sora didn't have to ask what was on her mind, Riku was close to both of them.
"I'm sorry Kairi. I've been dealing so hard with what I felt. I...neglected your feelings." Sora said in remorse.
It still hurts, they're both trying to be strong for each other.
"It's okay Sora. You did nothing wrong. And….I wasn't angry at Aiden for hiding this from us either. I wasn't mad at you for fighting him. I just wish we all had a chance to make up. To let Riku know that I forgave him for what he did to you. To us." Kairi said with a few tears sliding down her cheeks.
If only they knew how much Riku still regrets making deals with Maleficent and bonding with Xehanort's Heartless.
"Me too." Sora sighed in agreement.
"Are you still mad?" Kairi asked, looking at Sora.
"I was, but not anymore. I get why Aiden didn't tell us about Riku, he was just looking out for us." Sora said it with a hint of acceptance.
"Yeah. I guess he knows how much this hurts after losing his mother. He didn't want us to experience it." Kairi figured with a sigh.
"Yeah." Sora said with a sad look and a nod. Then he recalled what happened last night and reminiscent. "It's funny because….I had a dream last night, we were little, it was Halloween, we were dressed as 'Spider-Man and his amazing friends'. we went trick or treating at all the houses that had candy we've never tasted before."
Kairi choked on a small laugh as she sniffed and nodded.
"Yes. That was a good memory. To think, Riku was there for both of us. When we had no one. He brought us together." Kairi admitted.
Sora realized that Riku and Aiden have things in common, because Aiden brought the team together, and brought kairi back to Sora.
"When you think about it. Aiden's not that different, the white hair, blue eyes, heck, Riku went as iceman while Aiden is literally Jack Frost." Sora said with a small laugh at the realization.
In a way. Riku brought Sora and Kairi together. But Aiden brought them back together. Plus they both teased and encouraged Sora and Kairi's secret romantic feelings.
But now they both have no reason to hide or feel embarrassed for those feelings. Now it's time for both of them to follow their hearts all the way. Because they needed each other now more than ever. Without Riku, there is a void. A kind that their new friends can't fill completely.
"Did you remember back in Agrabah, when you and Aiden were riding over the Chasm Of Death? You said you loved me in that high squeaky voice you all had." Kairi gave a small smile as she sniffed.
This time Sora wasn't that embarrassed to remember saying that. Only for having a chipmunk voice.
"At first I was gonna blame the gas. But to tell you the truth….Well…. I ." Sora was trying to find a way to say it but he was blushing real hard.
"I know." Kairi said with understanding.
"You...You do?" Sora asked, looking a little surprised.
"Sora no offense. You're so great at many things. But hiding your true feelings is not one of your best spells." Kairi mused as she leaned her head on his shoulder. "I always knew."
Sora kinda knew that himself. But something always held him back.
"I...I guess I'm afraid." Sora admitted which made her raise up.
"Of what?" Kairi asked with her head tilted a little.
"That I was never going to be enough for you. Like I told Aiden, you deserve nothing but the best. I don't know if I can be the best." Sora explained feeling some sense of humility.
Sora was always modest. In spite of his great skill and power. He never felt worthy enough to have the best. And he considered Kairi as the best.
"But I never wanted the best. I wanted you." Kairi said with a smile as she touched his face. "I never stopped wanting to be with you."
Sora's eyes lit up as he leaned into the touch of her hand.
"Why didn't you just say so?" Sora asked curiously.
She pondered for a second. "I guess it would have defeated the purpose. But I'm saying it now." Kairi said with a warm smile, a loving smile. "
"I guess. I…. I thought I was too late to start." Sora said honestly as he couldn't form his own words.
Kairi took his hand and held it as she looked at him. "I never stopped wanting to." She stated with a smile.
Then Sora formed his own smile. "Mean neither." He replied.
"So here I am, sitting here next to you. I've always been. Whenever you were there spreading light in everyone's heart." Kairi smiled as she held his hand. "Is it about time someone shed light in that strong heart of yours?"
Sora held her hand tightly. Not in a way to hurt her pretty hand. But he held like some wounds were starting to heal. Not that he has no reason to say 'no'. Or refuse to follow his heart.
"Well say something." Kairi whispered while keeping her smile at him.
Sora smiled back and touched her cheek. "Thank you Kairi." Sora said back with a relieved voice.
Without any hesitation or reasons to hold back, Sora and Kairi leaned in and finally their lips touched and didn't pull away.
Sora and Kairi's first kiss.
And it felt magical as their kiss lasted with Kairi wrapping her arms around Sora's neck and Sora holding her close. They were kissing. Consider them now, to officially be a couple.
Time stopped for the two keybladers as all of their grief and worry disappeared. Additionally to them feeling each other's hearts. They are now more connected than ever. And from then on after this kiss. Will be magic for the both of them.
When Sora and Kairi heard someone sniffing and crying, they turned around and saw Olaf with a box full of tissues.
"That's the most beautiful and reasonably drawn out first kiss I've ever seen." While crying a river of ice cubes and blowing his nose with a tissue.
"Olaf?" Sora and Kairi were startled at the same time.
"I mean don't get me wrong. Anna and Kristoff's first kiss was beautiful, Elsa's first kiss with J'son was just as good and I wasn't there to see Aiden and Victoria's first kiss, so it's not really supposed to be a big deal." Olaf said as he sniffed and then he beamed and squealed. "Oooh but for some reason unknown to me! This kiss right here, feels like completing a whole set!"
'I can see why Aiden has no choice but to love this Snowman.' Sora thought in irony.
"Okay well, um….. Speaking of Aiden, is he still healing?" Kairi asked while a bit curious on how Long does it take for his legs to heal.
"Oh I didn't check. I figured he hasn't woken yet. But don't worry, Elsa is inconsiderate enough to go in and watch him while he sleeps." Olaf said optimistically.
Moms. Gotta love them, right?
Back in Aiden's bedroom...
Aiden slept perfectly as his legs healed. He no longer had any open wounds or lost any blood. Not that it bothers him due to the Maverick's supernatural high tolerance for receiving pain. But he did sleep deep and well through the night. Aiden didn't even bother setting his alarm. Not that he needed it right now.
Aiden's eyes opened slowly as he woke up and looked to his left side to a nice sight. His mother Elsa was sitting on a chair next to his bed, wearing her purple sleep gown as she came in an hour ago to watch over her son. Wondering if he's okay.
"Good morning Sweetheart." Elsa greeted her adopted son with a warm smile.
"Good morning Mom." Aiden smiled back.
"How do you feel?" Elsa asked.
"In the words of Mark Twain. 'Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.' Only eight years ago. Instead of a frog it was a shift crystal, and Lord almighty I am feeling more than just a day." Aiden winced a little as he sat up. "Mind rubbing my legs?"
"Of course little Spark." Elsa chuckled a little at his remark and kindly obliged to her son's request.
When Elsa opened the sheets, she's shocked beyond belief and muttered in bewilderment. "I am starting to miss the old days when the weirdest thing magic ever made was me."
What should've clicked was the fact that he had legs. Oh Aiden's legs were back alright, only they were the size of a toddler and as smooth as a newborn skin. It was weird because it didn't go well with the rest of him at all.
"We'll look on the bright side. Now you can tell all your friends you were there in my early years." Aiden winked to lighten the shock.
Elsa stifled a small laugh at his quip, but still couldn't find the right words. "I….Wow."
"But seriously they have growing pains so you might want to-" Aiden almost said before the door opened and Anna came in to greet her sister and nephew.
"Good morning my favorite-AAAAH!" Anna screamed in frightening surprise. "MAN BABY!"
"Or Baby Man. I prefer that because that's how it flows." Aiden quipped while crossing his baby legs and wiggling his toes.
'Try not to laugh and puke, Anna, try not to laugh and puke!' Anna said in thought as she sees her nephew with baby legs, but she's failing miserably.
"Anna what's wrong?!" J'son voiced from the hall as loud steps were heard. Then he stepped in and saw Aiden's baby legs. "I heard you yell and- OH MY GOD!"
"What up Pops. Guess what, it's a boy." Aiden quipped as he formed a ice Huggies diaper around his baby privates as his legs spread and relaxed.
"Jesus, Mary and Joseph." J'son gagged as he covered his mouth. "I always dreamed of a second chance to glance, but not like this."
"Careful. They're not old enough to get that." Aiden quipped while he gestured his legs.
"I was talking about your toddler days. Son." J'son deadpanned.
"I am Groooot..." Baby Groot gasped quietly in shock as he woke up to see Aiden's baby legs and passed out on the floor.
"By the sound of the screams I'm guessing it's bad and I don't want to murder my eyes. How does it look?" Kristoff called from behind the door, he didn't want to see what they were seeing.
"I wouldn't ask him to describe it." Elsa warned Kristoff while he stood behind the door.
"Well...It's like, ah..." J'son began.
"He's going for it." Aiden muttered.
"It's like he's giving birth anally, but they quit half way through. They got the legs and said 'You know what? I'm done.' " J'son humorously described as everyone groaned at his descriptions.
"J'son!" Elsa scolded her husband's humor.
"Happy?!" Aiden called out to his uncle.
"Aid basically looks like a muppet from the waste down, only this time Grover has a censor bar made of ice." J'son shivered.
"J'son enough!" Elsa warned him after that last one.
"Okay that'll do. No more." Kristoff responded in a tone that sounded a little nauseated.
"I am Groot..." Baby Groot groaned face down on the ground. Translated: 'Why did God grant me the ability to hear with no ears?'
Then Victoria came in wondering what all the noise and screaming was about.
"Hey what's with the the the….HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Victoria laughed so hard she almost fell, as she tried to control herself she said, "sorry, I wasn't laughing at your adorable legs, I was just remembering my last fight with the Nobodies." She lied.
"I'm pretty sure you broke all their non-hearts when you told them you already ordered a pizza fidanzato. Half large and half small." Aiden said as he quipped an innuendo.
Aiden's statement waa the only adult joke no one understood. Except J'son. But he's not going to scold him because as the good book says 'Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone'.
"That better not be another innuendo." Elsa warned Aiden for making that joke.
It's not. It just means whenever Aiden's healing factor works real hard. It sends a reaction to his mind like a relaxing drug. No one's negative or positive statements stick to the landing." Victoria eased Elsa's strict maternal Instincts.
"What the flaming hot oracle said." Aiden slurred as he felt a little weird while Anna slightly laughed at the flirt
"That also means Aiden's healing factor is at high speed, due to IRIS being connected to his DNA from the suit ring. And his legs will grow back completely. Any second now." Victoria also stated in explanation.
'DNA Cell structure and pattern analyzed. Activating hyper regeneration process.' IRIS spoke from the ring.
"That's my cue." Aiden grinned got off the bed and carefully stood on his baby legs
"Oh my God he's doing it, look at him go." Anna whispered in awe, humorous joy, like she's watching a baby walk for the first time. "That's it. There you go Sweetie."
Then Suddenly Aiden started glowing in his neon colors and stretched out as he shifted into the Maverick and his legs grew back instantly to regular size.
"Much fricken better." Maverick exhaled to have his legs back to normal. "Alright Mountain Dew, it's safe to come in."
"Oh thank God." Kristoff exhaled as he walked in, glad that his nephew was better and equally glad he missed the gross show.
As stated before. IRIS can use the Maverick suit to amplify certain abilities that Aiden possesses. Like his healing factor.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot said with pure relief.
As the moment of miraculous and awkward victory for Maverick's power began to settle. Sora and Kairi walked in after their moment in the garden and looked confused on why everyone stood around like they watched a circus act and a doctor's procedure.
"What did we miss?" Sora asked.
"You don't wanna know." Everyone responded at the same time.
"Anyhow." Maverick broke the silence as he teleported away for a few seconds and teleported back as Aiden in his keyblader outfit. Fully repaired and cleaned after his battle with Stormur.
"Your legs are back already?" Sora looked surprised.
"The process wasn't easy on our eyes." J'son muttered
"Or our ears." Kristoff sighed and was glad his eyes were spared the horror. "I'm gonna go check on the kids."
"Oooh I'll go with you! They're going to be glad to see this." Anna beamed as she and her husband walked out to check on Aiden's cousins and baby sister.
"Now that I've graduated down below. Me and my co-workers are going to resume Bill & Ted's cosmic road trip." Aiden stated.
"While we're gone. Look after Roxas and Xion." Victoria requested Elsa and J'son. "Make sure they check into the Mav Club frequently for examinations."
"Don't worry. We'll keep an eye on them." Elsa nodded and assured them.
"Yeah they'll be fine, but should we be worried about their new shells?"J'son asked.
"Well when you look at the long view. They were just born yesterday." Aiden stated with humor about Roxas and Xion.
"And yet your scissors are the youngest things in the castle." Victoria said, remarking about his baby legs.
Everyone snickered at that except for Sora and Kairi since they didn't see it happen.
"I'm proud of you son." J'son placed a hand on Aiden's shoulder. "It takes a hell of a big heart to show compassion toward the same group that crossed the line."
Aiden nodded and gave a sad scoff. "My mom and Spike's Nobodies were both victims. Nuff said." He shrugged.
"True, but that humility is the reason why you're the Maverick." Elsa said honestly feeling just as proud.
Aiden bit his lip. "I don't think that's the sole purpose, I'm the Maverick for many reasons. But the one thing that stands out is, I don't hesitate."
"Neither do we." Kairi agreed.
"Whenever you're ready." Sora said as he and Kairi stepped up.
Aiden smiled in response. He couldn't ask for better friends. A Better team. Or a better family.
Later on the Highwind II...
The Guardians of the Multiverse were back on track as Sora, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Baby Groot, Victoria and Aiden were all in their seats as Sora was given the honors to drive the ship to their destination Aiden already mapped out for him.
"So where to, Aiden?" Sora asked.
"This morning IRIS received a cosmic message from the Astral Plane. It came from a 'strange' ex-medic who heard about our 'collecting hearts' issue. And he said he wanted to speak with us personally." Aiden stated while making hints.
Kairi was the first one who got the hint. Astral Plane? Strange? Ex medic?
"Aiden, are you saying what I think you're saying?" Kairi asked very carefully, if what he said is true, then both her's and Sora's dreams are about to come true.
"Yep. We're off to see the Wizard." Aiden teased while leaning back in his chair and Sora's eyes lit up as he jerked his head towards him.
"AIDS! I swear, if this is a prank! I'll turn the ship around and tell your Mom that you broke her favorite vase while fighting Stormur, and trust me I will!" Sora yelled seriously, of all the worlds he dreamed of going, the world of heroes was and always will be the number one world he and kairi always wanted to go to the most.
"WHO TOLD YOU- I mean no I swear to God. We're going to the real Earth 616. Earth 1062 to be exact. The Marvel World. And believe me the Avengers look very close like their MCU actors." Aiden stated while he displayed a photo of the Avengers at Elsa and J'son's wedding on the ship's holo screen.
Sora gasped, as his entire world just froze, it's finally happening. He just discovered that all the Marvel Comic heroes are real in another world. All of his adventures, all his travels, all the worlds, he thought it's all leading to this one world. the world outside his windows, the world of the earth's mightiest heroes, the world of the first family of heroes, the world of the children of the atoms.
And then it hit him, out of all of them, and he literally meant all of them. Sora is going to the world of his number one favorite hero, THE hero, the hero that he dressed up as for Halloween. The hero who everyone loves, the hero that understands power and responsibility.
It's really happening.
"HOW DO WE MAKE THIS THING GO FASTER?!" Sora exclaimed feeling extra excited, as he began to press as many buttons as he could, until he pressed a big red threatening jump button that was somehow there without anyone noticing it. Known as the 'ludicrous speed' button, when he pressed it everything went red.
"Wait not that button Soraaaaaaaa! WAAAAAAK!" Donald screamed as they were too late.
The ship went at a special overkill mode as the hyperdrive went at a very high speed course through the many cosmic jump points connected to the Web of the Marvel Reality. Flying from portal to gateway. Everything around the ship was starting to wave and distort in texture and reality.
"Spike! Are you ***king nuts?! It's not healthy for our bodies to go through more than fifty jump points at a time!" Aiden cringed as he gripped his seat.
"So?!" Sora responded like he didn't get what Aiden was saying, while he was pressed against his seat by how fast everything was going.
"WE'RE ABOUT TO GO SEVEN HUNDRED!" Aiden bellowed as his face was disrupting, along with everyone and everything else around him. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Everyone screamed like they were going fast on an extreme merry-go-round.
The ship flew past many different realms and universes from jump point to jump point. The ship zigged and zagged and bounced across the Marvel world's Web of Reality like a pinball machine, as they passed many alternative versions of the Marvel World. Even passing by worlds like Asgard, Zandar, Hala, the Shi'ar Empire, Zenn-La and many more.
Down in Earth-91119…..
Just then in the far reaches of space, Doctor Doom and his minions M.O.D.O.K. and the Abomination were aboard a spaceship, or rather a Doom Ship, to search for the Infinity Stones so Doom could control the universe. When suddenly an alert alarm went up on the dashboard.
"MODOCK! How many times must I tell you to stop ordering take out while we're on the hunt for the stones?!" Doom exclaimed in irritation while he and the other minions were sitting in their ship crew seats.
"It wasn't me Boss! The ship is detecting something heading right past us at a ludicrous speed!" MODOCK explained in bewilderment as he read the readings. "Maybe someone found the forbidden button."
"THAT'S PREPOSTEROUS! Who in the right mind would-" Doctor Doom was cut off when he heard something outside.
Just then without them noticing, something flew passed them at high speed. It was the Highwind II. It flew so fast that it spun the Doom Ship around in a cartoony style, as it happened they were screaming like little girls and hugging each other in fear.
"NUTS!" Doctor Doom shrieked while screaming in a high pitched voice.
And the forced speed from the gummi ship caused the Doom Ship to spin so fast that it ended up falling pass the universe and crashing through a jump point portal.
Who knows where those villains will end up, but one thing's for sure. They're not getting those Infinity Stones anytime soon.
Meanwhile back on the Highwind II's 700 world jump…..
Everyone was still screaming in distorting wavy faces on the ship. It was like an inhuman theme park ride that no man should ever experience or conceive.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Guardians screamed while their ship was flying through space.
Then finally much to everyone's luck. The ship finally came to a halt. They had arrived at their destination point, which was a hover point above Earth. The Marvel Earth. The one Aiden was taking his team to see.
Everyone was stunned as they fell off their chairs. Baby Groot puked on his baby seat.
"Alright, who's not dead? Sound off." Aiden muffled to his team while he was face down on the floor.
"Uh...My head." Kairi groaned as she sat up slowly.
"That was worse than a Six Flags ride." Victoria gagged as she slumped against the wall.
"Gawrsh...Does someone have any antacids?" Goofy asked while looking green while covering his mouth.
"Ooooooh..." Donald was upside down against a corner.
"Jeez..." Sora moaned as he stood back up and nervously rubbed the back of his neck. "I guess I just got a little carried a-"
"Don't say it!" They all snapped, making Sora flinch.
"IRIS. Status?" Aiden asked the magic computer.
'The ship has sustained 0% damage. We have arrived at our destination and are free to beam down to the Marvel World.' IRIS stated.
"Okay. So no harm done?" Sora smiled nervously. "Right?"
Kairi sat up, huffed and flung her red hair out of her face before she pointed at Sora with a warning scowl.
"If you ever push that button again. I will drown you when we get back to Destiny Island! And then I'll slap your carcass and resurrect you to knock you flat on your ass!" Kairi creatively warned Sora in an angry tone.
"Yes ma'am." Sora gulped and shivered at the sight of his angry girlfriend.
He said with a hint of fear because he's never ever seen Kairi this angry, even Victoria was impressed. Aiden of course was smirking as he was catching the hint. Only a couple would have a humorous banter like that. He should know during the times he pissed Victoria off.
"Anyway... I'm going to pretend this Orlando theme park ride never happened and give you all an update on what will happen next." Aiden got on the console and began typing in a command on the teleporter.
"Alright?" Sora listened as everyone stood back up.
"Due to the fact that this world is being watched by several security organizations, like Shield for example. We'll be landing in New York, but the ship will have to remain up here and not in the clouds this time. To avoid setting off any UFO alerts down below. But don't worry it has a stronger signal to find us from all the way down there when we're ready to leave." Aiden assured the team as he locked down to a position to beam down on.
"Okay Sora, just stay calm. You're going to the world of the heroes you grew up reading, don't get too excited, and don't break the world order." Sora muttered to himself as he's trying his best not to geek out, sadly he's failing miserably.
"Okay Spike? While we're down there we might run into almost any local hero from Marvel comics. But while we're down there. I need you to not go Annie Wilkes on them okay?" Aiden warned with a quip while he finished typing.
"Yeah Sora. You need to be on your beat behavior. Most of the Marvel heroes also cannot know they have comic books on other worlds." Donald warned.
"He's right Sora. Tellin them that would interfere with the World Border." Goofy agreed.
"ORDER!" Donald exclaimed.
"I'd like an extra large calzone with mushrooms please." Aiden quipped as he stood up, acting like he's at a drive in. Which made Donald give him an annoyed look while Aiden shrugged. "What? You said 'order'."
"Sometimes I wonder if your humor is the only thing that can't heal." Donald said in a deadpan voice.
"But you invited the Avengers to your parents' wedding! They still don't know after that?!" Sora protested.
"Well sort of. Stark has his company's publishers post comic books of his team all the time. Including other heroes, for the young folks down there. But they don't know anything about the marvel movies or the cartoons we watch. Or the Marvel video games. They don't know about the other version of themselves they haven't met yet. They don't even know about Stan Lee, a blessed memory." Aiden explained.
"Basically the Avengers and several heroes know about the multiverse and other worlds because of the whole Web of Reality thing. They just don't know they're fictional in other worlds." Victoria clarified for Sora and Kairi to understand.
"If they're not fictional, then how did writers like Stan Lee come up with their stories?" Kairi asked curiously.
"Good question. The Webs of Reality don't just exist. But they magically share their stories in the form of ideas across the multiverse, by connecting to the hearts of other writers who are inspired by heroes." Victoria expounded on how it all works.
"So it's like the Justice Guild Of America from the JL series." Kairi understood while referencing an episode of the Justice League series.
"Exactly." Victoria complemented her for catching on.
While their conversation was going on. Sora was pacing back and forth trying to keep himself in check.
"How are you all so calm about this?! I mean we're in their world, his world, THE WORLD!" Sora threw his hands up in protest as his voice got higher and louder from each word.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot winced and covered his ears by how loud Sora was. His voice made everyone wince and made a glass of water break in a cup holder.
"When you live with a talking tree and a talking snowman, impossibility takes an early exit with shocking excitement. Granted I got excited the first time. But now that I've been here so many times, it's become like a breeze to me." Aiden shrugged and cautioned his friend. "But seriously Spike, you don't want to go batshit crazy any of these heroes out. Hayner nearly got his throat burned out when he met the Avengers. And I don't want them to think I only bring friends that belong in a straight jacket."
"Excited isn't the word I would use." Victoria said, reminiscing the memory when she and Aiden first visited the marvel world.
"Hush." Aiden muttered and cleared his throat. "Anyway, is everyone ready? Don't answer that. IRIS, ready the teleporter."
'Yes Maverick.' IRIS acknowledged.
Then on that note. The team teleported down to the Marvel World itself.
Down in New York City...
It was a bright sunny day in New York. Like in many different realities, this city was a place that never sleeps. A city that represents everything good and bad about mankind. Light and Darkness alike. The big apple itself had just recently recovered from the Devil's Breath plague that attacked its citizens like pandemic in spades. Lives were lost during that event and some good people are now gone.
But New York is still standing thanks to a certain spandex wearing hero that looks out for the city.
The team appeared on top of the MetLife building as they got a good view of the city itself. every looked around as Sora ran to look out at the city from near the edge of the building.
"Woooow." Sora gasped as he looked out at the view.
"Come on Spike." Aiden called out as the team was walking around to look for a rooftop exit.
"aww, but I wanna take a look at the big city!" Sora whined with wishful eyes.
"Yeah, it does seem pretty exciting." Goofy admitted in amusement.
"But not healthy for Sora." Kairi teased while watching her boyfriend run around the roof in excitement.
"Please Kairi, don't ruin the moment. I feel so metropolitan!" Sora beamed and pondered. "Uh...cosmopolitan?"
"Retropolitan?" Aiden figured humorously.
"Not-apolitan!" Donald turned and exclaimed at Sora and Aiden which made Goofy chuckle.
"Jeez take it easy Aflac. We're in the one place that the Heartless won't enter and attack. Let's just take in the atmosphere and stretch our legs while you stretch your webbed feet." Aiden eased Donald.
"Yeah. You're right." Donald sighed in agreement..
Then Kairi noticed Sora looking very carefully around the skyscrapers, like he's looking for someone or looking for a certain someone who's swinging from said buildings. She kinda figured out who Sora's looking for.
"Speaking of webbed..." Sora muttered.
"Keep your eyeballs in your skull Spike. He could be anywhere." Aiden said to him.
"Who?" Goofy asked.
"Spider-Man." Aiden answered.
"WHERE?!" Sora screamed as he jerked around.
"Breathe man!" Aiden urged him to calm down. "Let's not forget why we're here. The multiverse depends on finding Doctor Strange."
"Right right right, your right, multiverse first, then Spider-Man." Sora said that last part in a whisper, "Knowing his 'Parker Luck', he'll find us."
Sora was hoping he'll meet his childhood hero.
"Good. And whatever you do. Guard the Spider-Man 3 secret with your life. I don't want him to get any bad, jazzy, dancy ideas if you catch my drift." Aiden warned while hinting at one of Spidey's worst movies.
"Aye aye Mav." Sora saluted to his icy friend.
"Anyhow. I recommend we split up to not attract too much attention. And also..." Aiden shifted into Maverick. "Let's parkour."
"Right on!" Sora smirked as he shifted into his armored form and Kairi shifted into her armored form.
"Or fly. Which works for us." Victoria shrugged and shifted into Blaze while Baby Groot was set on her back. And they all ran and jumped off the roof in different directions as they went out into the city.
"Wait! We can't...Parkour." Donald exhaled as he tried to say.
Him and Goofy were left on top of the Metlife rooftop without means to follow them.
"It's okay Donald. At least we got an elevator." Goofy said with a smile.
Donald sighed and nodded. "Come on. Let's go catch the locals." The duck suggested that they use the subway.
"YAHOOO!" Armored Sora yelled in thrill as he used his freeflow abilities to bounce and jump from the walls of skyscrapers. And run across other rooftops
"Yeaaah!" Kairi laughed as she was doing the same as she twirled in the air and was right behind Sora.
Victoria was smiling as she followed them and kept an eye to make sure they didn't crash or get too excited to break something. Not bones but anything they might land on.
The Maverick flew alone across the big apple. He felt relieved. Not only did he repair his friendship with Sora and kept the team together despite their odds. But he also felt Freedom and joy as he flew around and across buildings. People were either not noticing, or looking up and pointing. Thinking he was Iron Man or a new town hero. It just felt so good to get his mind off of the Organization for once.
He kept flying like an armored Superman while listening to a classic on his music playlist.

Maverick flew up the Avengers Tower and did a swan dive down before he performed a triple donut loop and zoomed off. Breaking the sound barrier.
"WHOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!" Maverick thrilled.

As the Maverick flew past a water tower.
A certain famous and infamous wall crawling hero known as Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was perched up on the side. He watched Maverick fly by.
The most prominent aspect of Spidey's current suit that distinguished it from other Spider-Man suits was the white spider symbol. While the suit retained the classic red and blue color scheme, it featured a large white spider on the chest instead of the traditional black. It was designed based on athletic wear and compression clothing.
The white spider symbol at the front and back of the suit had long legs and ended at the thin blue piping of the suit. The shoes had also been modernized, now featuring a sneaker-style design instead of knee-high boots.
Out of all of Spider-Man's suits. The advanced suit is the absolute best.
"There's something you don't see everyday. Almost every day." Spider-Man remarked as he jumped and swung after Maverick. "But not every...day."
As Maverick was flying through the city. He heard someone coming, more like swinging next to him.
"Hey!" Spider-Man swung and dropped. Then he swung back up and asked. "Where did you get the cool suit?!"
Maverick kept it cool despite his inner fanboy geeking out, he didn't want to be acting like Sora right now. He's pretty much used to meeting his Idols like the Avengers. And Hercules. So he just flew over to a building to stop and talk.
"And by cool I mean Flashing and uncomfortable." Spider-Man quipped as he swung back up from behind.
Maverick hovered above a roof top. While Spider-Man landed on top of a radio tower on the roof.
"Don't take it too hard. See I'm kind of a costume design snob." Spider-Man quipped while gesturing himself.
"This is coming from the guy that likes to dress up as a voodoo pincushion?" Maverick quipped while he hovered with his arms crossed. "For a second there I thought Charlie Ward lost his basketball. But then I noticed the white spider look. Nice touch."
This is how smart ass heroes do friendly talk. And they both knew it. Though Spider-Man was mildly surprised that Maverick was using his words instead of his powers or weapons. Because he's used to most newcomers attacking him. for no known reason.
"Ouch. Touche. Not gonna lie, usually when I meet someone new, it tends to turn into a brawl." Spider-Man said with experience since it usually turns into that.
"Don't worry. If I wanted to brawl with New York's greatest hero I would've brought the boric acid." Maverick assured with a remark as he landed on the roof..
"I wouldn't say I'm 'New York's greatest hero', I mean there's the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, X-Men, there's a list somewhere, but all I know, I'm at the bottom." Spider-Man said while crawling down the radio tower, with a fact that he doesn't feel like he's the greatest.
"His pop culture status and accolades would beg to differ." Maverick muttered to himself before Spider-Man landed in front and armored keyblader offered a handshake. "Call me Maverick. 'The' Maverick. Guardian of the Multiverse."
"Wow. You named yourself after the Texas Basketball team? Are you Steve Nash's clone under that mask?" Spider-Man inquired with a quip, while he shook his hand. "That's my counter on that basketball remark earlier."
"For a human tarantula that loves to dress like a basketball, you're one to talk." Maverick snickered before he turned around and walked over the edge.
"I'm not a tarantula, I'm a spider, big difference." Spider-Man stated.
"Sorry I just assume you got three chest hairs under that suit." Maverick mused, while he walked down on the side of the building using his flight to not fall..
"Ha! No." Spidey scoffed In a bit of a high pitched voice.
"Uh huh." Maverick muttered sarcastically. He doesn't need to detect if he's lying, because obviously he is.
"Wait...Did you say multiverse? Like alternate dimensions, Web of Reality, Multiverse?" Spider-Man inquired about his earlier statement while following Maverick as he crawled on the wall to keep up with him.
Spider-Man had his run in alternate dimensions during his team up with other cosmic heroes from time to time. So he's no stranger to that word.
"One and the same." Maverick grinned while not revealing the whole concept to Spidey. "My team and I are on our way to see the Big Wiz himself. Doctor Strange."
"You sure you wanna check in with him? I mean Steven's a good guy but he can turn your conception into a xylophone." Spider-Man stated as he and Maverick jumped over to another roof top.
"My life already is a xylophone. I live with a talking snowman, so skepticism no longer exists where I'm from." Maverick stated as he looked over the edge.
"Woah, so…. That crazy, huh?" Spider-Man bit his bottom lip hearing that insane fact.
"You have no idea. But it's my kinda crazy. And speaking of 'crazy' I'd be on the lookout for my best friend if I were you. He dressed up as you for Halloween a while back, so I know what I'm talking about." Maverick warned Spidey about Sora.
"Okay? Why would that be crazy?." Spider-Man perched on the exhausted pipe next to him. "Folks dress up like me all the time."
They both heard the sound of a high pitch squeal as their heads jerked at the same time to see Armored Sora standing there in total shock and excitement. He was completely frozen.
"Not like him." Maverick deadpanned.
"I am in for a live one, aren't I?" Spider-Man nervously asked as his Spider eyes shifted seeing Sora.
"Yep. May Stan Lee have mercy on your soul." Maverick quipped an answer.
"Mr Man, uh mr Spider- I mean Mr Web." Sora keep stuttering his word, he can't find the words to say.
He's standing right there, in front of him, the hero he's been dreaming of meeting since he first read the comics, the hero he dressed as, if he wasn't excited before, he is now. " Can someone help me? I forgot how to breathe….."
Sora said the truth, he literally can't remember how to breathe.
"Okay just breathe and find your words, Dude." Spider-Man eased as he gave him a one eyebrow look on the mechanized specs of his mask eyes. "You can use words right?"
Before anyone can say anything Sora passed out of the excitement and fell on the ground out cold.
"Is he asleep?" Spidey asked in confusion.
"Nah. I'm pretty sure he's dead." Maverick remarked.
Then Kairi showed up behind them.
"Oh my Gosh! You're Spider-Man!" Armored Kairi gasped which startled Spider-Man as he turned to see her.
"Okay? I'll assume you're his twin?" Spidey inquired.
"Future wife actually." Maverick mused as he knew about their relationship sparking.
Even if they haven't announced it yet.
"Um. Sorry. It's just wow. Me and Sora are just huge fans." Kairi said nervously while beaming.
"Yeah I get that a lot." Spider-Man remarked hearing it from folks like Miles Morales and probably all the other kids from New York. Like Reed and Sue's kids and the Power Pack.
"Not the kind in their package. Trust me. Spike over there probably needs a defibrillator and to be reminded that there's more to life than fandom. Don't ask me what." Maverick quipped as he went over to lift Spike over his shoulder. "Come on pal. I think you drank too much of that good old Comic Con."
"Mav." Everyone heard as they looked up to see Blaze fly over and hovered in front of Maverick. "IRIS just reported a break in at the national history museum. Some guy with a glass dome for a head just took down the guards working there. Guess who."
"Mysterio." Maverick and Spidey said at the same time as Blaze finally noticed her.
"Oh wow. Sorry I didn't notice you standing there at first." Blaze chuckled nervously seeing Spider-Man.
"Probably the white spider's a nostalgic throw off." Spider-Man figured.
"No it's okay, it's nice. Call me Blaze." Blaze assured and introduced herself.
"AKA the wind beneath my wings." Maverick quipped which was fancy talk for 'girlfriend'. Every girl likes being called that.
"Ah, well congrats on having those wings." Spidey winked at Mav, and fist bumped as well.
"Thanks. Anyway we don't want to miss the main event with Spielberg's evil clone." Maverick suggested as he took off flying while carrying Sora.
"Um. What he said." Kairi timidly stated as she pointed to where Maverick went. Before she jumped out and took off using her dash moves to keep up.
"Come on Web Head." Blaze gestured for Spidey to follow them to the museum before she flew off.
"I hope I don't become a Power Ranger after this" Spidey quipped about their outfits before he swung off and followed them to the museum.
Down at the Natural History Museum...
What usually is a place where history comes to life, and a place for school kids to come and study or for tourists to come and brag about seeing things. Was closed today for renovations. Too bad the top security wasn't enough to handle the menacing Mysterio. Master of illusions as he walked down the main entrance and passed every fallen security guard. A purple fog surrounded him as he went up to the Norse exhibit. Nothing but old runes and Viking trinkets from the past. Which are nothing compared to what's in the real Asgard.
Mysterio had a strange bubble-like helmet and purple cape with strange armor-like attire underneath with purple smoke flowing behind and around him.
But Mysterio laid eyes on a black topaz looking gem that was blocked behind bullet proof glass.
"Ah...The Black Aether." Mysterio smirked.
As Mysterio admired the artifact, Spider-Man jumped down landing on the platform. And watched as he was going for the element of surprise. And to let his mouth make the first move which always works.
"Selling you to my employer..." Mysterio muttered to himself as he lifted the glass case from around the gem. "is gonna make me a mint."
"Good, you could use a mint." Spider-Man's quip was heard.
Mysterio jumped, dropping the glass case to shatter as it hit the ground. He quickly turned to see Spider-Man lower himself upside-down from a web line. "Ugh, I can smell your breath from here."
"Spider-Man?!" Mysterio shouted while he clenched his fist.
"Wait, how would he eat through that bubble?" Maverick called out as he teleported and hovered next to Spidey. And he mimicked Bane from 'The Dark Knight Rises' "Do you take needles like Tom Hardy, Mr Fishbowl Man?"
"You DARE!? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH!?" Quentin yelled at mav.
"Of course he does. Bubble Boy right?" Spider-Man shrugged, while playing along.
"Mysterio!" the villain roared.
"Ugh! I hate that stuff! It tastes like cheap outsourced oat bran." Maverick mocked a gag.
Mysterio quickly slammed down some sort of capsule and it exploded creating more purple smoke. Out of the smoke appeared a snake hissing and snapping at the hero.
"Nice!" The Amazing Spider-Man commented unphased. "Don't get me wrong, your illusions are nifty. But if you ask me, it could use a little more kick!"
Spider-Man then quickly swung through the illusion and kicked Mysterio, launching him across the room.
Then Maverick flew in and blasted an ice beam at Mysterio while he was in the air, and froze him to the wall.
Then Maverick hovered and kissed his fingers. "Muah! La mia opera d'arte. Ha finito!" He quipped in Italian before asking Spidey in English. "What do you think we should call this painting?"
"I think we should call this piece, Computer Generated Fatality." Spider-Man quipped it with an Italian accent.
Because Mysterio's illusions are special effects.
"Laugh all you want Spider-Man and...Whoever you are. But if you think I'm a work of art. And why don't you admire the gallery?" Mysterio gloated as a purple smoke swepped over the entire Museum.
Spider-Man coughed and waved the smoke out of the way. "Ugh! Misty, what are they feeding you at Rikers?! Does the Warden think marijuana is from the Vitamin Shoppe?" He gagged at the purple vapers.
Maverick looked around as he stood next to Spider-Man and he constructed a giant neon fan to blow away the vapers. But when the smoke finally cleared away.
"Ahahahahahahahaaaa!" Mysterio's laugh was heard as they were surprised to see a dozen duplicates of Mysterio surrounding them.
Each Mysterio Duplicate were actually real given that one of them knocked over a norse display of Viking helmets.
"Oh no. It's a bunch of them." Spider-Man mocked as he sounded bored and hung his head over. "He does this all the time..."
"So he's really Michael Bay. Whelp my conscience is clear." Maverick figured as he summoned his keyblades and scanned all the Mysterio duplicates.
'Maverick, my readings indicate that all of Mysterio's duplicates are all droids.' IRIS stated.
"Let's red conned them." Maverick grinned as he jumped in and started fighting them.
Spider-Man used his trip mine webs to bind two duplicates together and then he flipped and dodged a laser attack from another Mysterio duplicate. Jumping from a display to the ceiling and shooting an electric web at the duplicate. Causing it's head to explode.
"Uh gross?" Spider-Man inquired as the head fell and the hologram around it dropped. Instead of Mysterio's glass helmet, it was an AIM bot's head.
Maverick was busy twirling and slashing at the Mysterio Duplicates with his keyblades as he took out five of them.
"No guts no- wait..." Maverick halted his quips as he noticed the robot parts that were falling on the ground. They seemed almost advanced as Stark. "What the hell are we fighting? Left over antiques from Titanfall?"
"I've been fighting Misty for years, but he's never been the type of person to have robots up to this scale." Spidey said while fighting and examining the droid.
But before Spider-Man could say more. His spider sense helped him dodge and twirl to avoid a mini rocket attack from another duplicate. So he shot a web bomb to trap Seven and shot two web lines and a ceiling light and brought it down on them. Only for more to spawn in purple smoke.
"Aid! We found the rest of the guards...Wait! We're being surrounded by some weird cosplayers with glass helmets!" Blaze spoke from Maverick's earpiece.
"On my way! Spike, you're up!" Maverick quickly teleported to their position.
And then Armored Sora came in from the air using his free flow abilities and held uis keyblade out to cast a thunder spell to strike six more duplicates. But more were coming.
"Got your back Spidey!" Armored Sora said as they stood back to back in a fighting pose.
"Thanks!" Spider-Man replied before they started fighting the robots.
Sora performed a Sonic Blade as he dashed and trusted past a bunch of Mysterio Duplicates, shattering them. Then performing an Ars Arcanum to twirl and slash at a bunch of them. Mysterio's robot duplicates were no match for Sora's magic. Especially the spinning fireball spells.
Spidey was kicking and knocking them down with Impact webs to knock them down and launching web drones to zap them down with a few hits. Then he activated his electric punches to knock some sense into the bots. Which was no problem.
"Where are these things coming from, a refund portal?!" Spider-Man inquired as he performed a double kick to take another one down.
"I don't know! But he has to run out soon right?!" Sora figured as he slashed another one.
Meanwhile Mysterio managed to activate a laser cutter in his suit's belt to break free of Maverick's ice as he fell down off the ice. While the heroes were distracted, he snuck over to the Dark Aether display as slowly as possible.
But his luck would soon run out as Spidey swing kicked another Duplicate down and looked over quickly to see the real Mysterio and managed to break the glass and take the Dark Aether from the display.
"Nuh uh uh." Spider-Man quipped. "Souvenirs are available in the gift shop."
He shot a web line from his hand sticking to the artifact and tossing it out of Mysterio's hand.
Mysterio turned back to him as he held his hand out. "Stop it!" He complained. "Cease your incessant prattling!"
He started to fire fireballs from his sleeves. Spider-Man quickly shot a web line and swung away just missing the explosion.
Spider-Man quickly grabbed rails from above as if he was sticking to them. "But 'incessant' is the best kind of prattling," Spider-Man quipped and quickly moved. He started shooting wed lines while dodging the fireballs and things getting destroyed in the process.
Sora was busy helping Spider-Man by keeping the rest of the robot duplicates busy.
Mysterio soon stopped as he grabbed the artifact, but when he did it started to glow a black aura. Soon the glow started to travel up his arms. "What's... What's this?" He inquired
"Hey, bubblehead!" Spider-Man yelled. Revealing he had created a web and as a launching pad. Mysterio only slightly turned holding the Dark Aether.
"Think fast!" Spider-Man yelled and launched himself at him. Mysterio quickly held the artifact out in front of him and caused Spider-Man's punch to hit the Dark Aether.
But when he did.
***BOOOM!***
"Agh!" Spider-Man howled in pain as he was sent toward the wall after punching the magic stone. And he crashed through the wall.
"Spider-Man!" Sora yelled out and ran for him after taking the last bot down.
With not a second to waste. Mysterio laughed evilly and waved his cape and formed a deep purple smoke and vanished in thin air like the stage magician he was. "Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Haaaa!"
With Mysterio gone. Sora ran to check on Spider-Man.
"Spidey, you okay?" Sora asked as he helped Spider-Man up.
"yeah, yeah I'm okay." Spider-Man answered, as he got up, and looked around to see that all the energy from that mysterious artifact vanished without a trace. "Okay, can someone explain what's going on right now?"
"I'm just as confused as you are." Sora said as he's even more confused as his hero.
"And Mysterio pulled a Houdini." Spider-Man deadpanned seeing Mysterio was gone as well. "Classic."
"I think the better question is, what is a museum doing with a dangerous magical artifact?" Sora wondered.
"Maybe the Museum manager didn't check to see if it was kosher." Spidey quipped with a wince.
Maverick, Blaze and Armored Kairi came up to them.
"Alright I checked around, the Mysterio Reboots have been taken care of and all the guards are okay." Maverick informed them and noticed Spider-Man struggling a little to stand. "You alright? You look like you ate a can of spam."
"What happened?" Kairi asked out of concern.
"Mysterio happened." Spider-Man and Sora said at the same time.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot chirped on the ground. translated: "Jinx."
Which surprised Spider-Man seeing the little talking tree.
"Woah. I didn't know Pinocchio had a little brother." Spidey quipped seeing baby Groot for the first time and not noticed him earlier.
"Actually he's Pinocchio's surrogate son." Maverick quipped.
"I am Groot!" Baby Groot scowled with his arms crossed.
"He's kidding Groot." Blaze eased the little tree and said to Spider-Man "He's with us."
"Yeah he's an alien tree." Kairi explained and held up her keyblade. "Hold on."
Then Kairi casted a healing spell over Spider-Man and healed his bruises and whatever else was hurt.
"Woah, that felt way better than aspirin. Thanks." Spidey thanked kairi.
"Don't mention it." Kairi nodded with a smile.
Just then the heroes turned to hear the sounds of police sirens outside.
A few minutes later outside the museum...
The entrance was swarming with police and reporters as the cops placed police tapes around the main entrance and set the area up as a crime scene. Spider-Man was with the Guardians as they were talking with captain Yuri Watanabe and explaining what happened.
"So Beck just stole a rock from the Norse exhibit that's worth a fortune, and it just so happens to be a magic rock?" Yuri asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Not to mention all of those advanced understudies he had for an army. It nearly caused me an arm when I found out." Spider-Man winced a little remembering how bad it hurt to punch the artifact.
"If it's okay to ask Captain. What was the Museum doing with a Dark Stone?" Armored Sora asked.
"Your guess is as good as ours." Yuri shrugged and replied. "Me and my men will have a chat with the Museum manager and fill you all in on the details later."
"Okay. We'll let you take it from here then." Kairi nodded with the others agreeing.
"Also, nice seeing you again Mav." Yuri said to Maverick before she left to go handle some police work on the field. And talk to the museum manager.
"Same to you Nabe." Maverick greeted Yuri back before she left.
Which shocked Spider-Man.
"Wait wait wait. You and Yuri know each other?" Spider-Man asked. Feeling a bit lost.
"This isn't my first vacay to 'the city that never snoozes' Web Head." Maverick stated. "A while back, I saved her and a bunch of other cops from being zapped by terrorist mercs during A-Day in San Francisco."
Yuri was assigned to go and capture an escaped convict from Rykers lockdown. While Spider-Man was busy dealing with Sandman in New York.
"That's how we met the Avengers." Blaze said to a surprised Spider-Man.
"Actually those two did. Sora and I are new to the team." Kairi clarified before Spider-Man could ask her and Sora.
"Okay who else knows about you other than the avengers?" Spider-Man inquired.
"Well besides the Fantastic Four and the Power Pack. Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel and a few of the X-Men. Just you and the Avengers." Blaze shrugged.
"We wanted to meet you a long time ago but you're kinda hard to track down. And our 'Guard the Multiverse' schedule is always tight." Maverick explained.
"That and you're curfew." Blaze teased.
"Our curfew." Maverick corrected and muttered to Spidey "Don't ask."
While they were talking, Baby Groot noticed a redhead reporter sneaking out of the museum from an open window on the first floor, and taking a robot head from one of Mysterio's duplicates. The little tree decided to follow her and find out what the reporter is up to. So he ran over and left the group without anyone noticing.
"So let me mark it down. Almost all of the world's heroic champions knows about you, except for 'New York's greatest hero'? " Spider-Man asked, making Maverick feel a bit guilty for making Spidey feel left out.
"Well if it makes you feel any better, we haven't met Daredevil." Blaze said in their own defense.
"And you're the first hero me and Kairi ever met." Sora pointed out.
"In fact. Sora here dressed up as you for Halloween a while back." Kairi smirked at her boyfriend.
"Dollar store or supermarket?" Spider-Man asked in amusement.
"Supermarket." Sora and Kairi said at the same time.
"I'm sorry to cut the staff meeting short. But we better get to Strange's place as soon as possible." Blaze suggested that they leave.
"Wait a sec, where's Groot?" Maverick was the first to notice that their little tree is missing.
On the back end of the Museum...
The reporter Baby Groot was following was actually Mary Jane Watson. A reporter for the Daily Bugle managed to slip by the police at the Museum with a robot head from one of Mysterio's Duplicates. Being a reporter and one of Spider-Man's closest allies, she had to look in closer to see what's going on.
"Okay buddy? Let's take a look at those tattoos." Mary Jane whispered as she looked and examined the label at the back of the head. "AIM?"
"I am Groot?" Baby Groot's voice interrupted MJ.
"Huh?" Mary Jane turned and looked around. "Who's there?"
"I am Groot." Baby Groot waved from below her. Translated: "Down here, yoo hoo."
When Mary Jane looked down, she was startled at first to see an alien tree. But then she eases seeing that Groot wasn't hostile. But still weirded out.
"Uh….What?" MJ could only say while she was reaching for the taser gun in her purse, slowly.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot greeted.
"Groot?! Where are you buddy?!" They heard Maverick's worried voice.
Mary Jane and Baby Groot Maverick came flying over with the other in the air with Blaze flying next to him and Spider-Man swinging in tow with Sora and Kairi landing with the others. Spider-Man swung ahead of them when he saw MJ.
He landed up to her.
"Hey MJ. Funny swinging into you here." Spider-Man greeted his partner while she smiled in response.
"Hey. Are they with you?" Mary Jane greeted and asked.
"Yeah. And the baby spring break is with them." Spider-Man clarified.
"Groot you gave us a heart attack! What have I told you about running off like that?" Blaze picked up and scolded the little tree in a motherly tone.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot apologized looking down sadly. He was afraid if she was mad at him.
"Oh it's okay honey. I'm just glad you're okay." Blaze cooed as she hugged the little tree and he hugged back.
"I'm sorry Ma'am, he didn't mean to scare you." Kairi apologized to MJ for Baby Groot.
"Don't worry about it. He's actually kinda cute for an alien. He is an alien right?" Mary Jane asked while guessing.
"Give the lady a prize." Spider-Man complimented and greeted. "How are you doing Miss Watson?"
"Pretty good Tiger." Mary Jane smirked at him.
"Watson?" Kairi whispered in realization.
"Tiger?" Sora muttered quietly as he got the hint with his grin hidden under the armored face.
"Mmm boy." Maverick quietly mused with a smirk.
Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. Obviously. But they didn't openly freak out about it for risk of getting their comic book reading secret away.
"I am Groot!" Baby Groot beamed and pointed at MJ in excitement as he figured it out too while hoping in excitement.
Thankfully Spidey and MJ can't understand the big mouthed little tree.
"What did he say?" MJ asked them.
"And why does he keep saying his name like a puppy?" Spider-Man inquired.
"It's his puppy call." Blaze shrugged while answering Spider-Man.
"And he apparently is mistaking you for Kirsten Dunst." Maverick answered Mary Jane's question. "He reacts like this every time he sees a celebrity."
"That's cute." MJ snickered in understanding and remarked. "I don't even look like Kirsten Dunst."
If she only knew.
"Anyway. Sorry but we have a Doctor's appointment and we don't wanna be late. See you around Spidey." Maverick quickly stated as he teleported the team away.
While Mary Jane and Spider-Man stood there slightly surprised to see them leave so abruptly and magically.
"Hmmm... Now that you think about it. You do have that 'Interview With A Vampire' look." Spider-Man figured they had a point. While making MJ roll her eyes in amusement.
"Easy there Cassanova, and take a look at this." Mary Jane passed the robot head to him.
Spider-Man then noticed the label.
"Wait. AIM? As in 'Advanced Idea In Mechanics' AIM?" Spider-Man inquired.
"My thoughts exactly. That's where Beck got those duplicates from them. He must've made a deal with MODOK to steal whatever he took from the museum." MJ theorized.
"That must've been the 'employer' Misty mentioned." Spider-Man figured and then remembered something else. "There's more. Apparently that Dark Aether or whatever it's called. It was apparently a magic stone. Like 'Tomb Raider' magic."
"Magic huh?" Mary Jane mused with a grin.
"It's not really a foreign word in the hero field when you think about it." Spidey shrugged.
"What did your new friends in anime tights say about it?" Mary Jane asked while wondering.
"Not much. But the blue and green one, Maverick. He said they were heading to meet with Doctor Strange." Spider-Man specified.
"Make sense. if there's anyone with answers in the mystic field including palm reading. He's the guy everyone meets." MJ figured
"I think Steven Universe is too advanced for palm reading." Spider-Man quipped.
"You know what I mean Pete." Mary Jane deadpanned. "We should go see him too."
"Agreed. Just give me a second to find a place to change." Spider-Man said as he swung off to a rooftop. Which took a few minutes longer.
"God I wish they never took phone booths away." MJ sighed as she waited seemingly patiently for Peter to change.
Later at the entrance to the Sanctum Santorum entrance...
Peter Parker and Mary Jane got out of the subway exit and on the sidewalk heading down to Steven Strange's address. But then they noticed a small group of teenagers knocking on the front door of the Sanctum and waiting outside for someone to answer. And they were confused about what they were doing there.
What they don't know is that they're the Guardians outside their armored suits. Aiden, Sora, Victoria and Kairi.
"Excuse me. Don't mean to be rude but shouldn't you kids be in school?" Peter asked as he and Mary Jane walked up to them.
"Sorry Sir. We got a free track for a Doctor's appointment." Victoria explained.
"I am Groot?" Baby Groot popped up over her shoulder and asked. Translated: "We do?"
"Groot?" Peter and Mary Jane were shocked that Baby Groot was with those kids.
"Hey Spidey." Sora greeted Peter.
"Spidey?" Peter gawked and looked over pretended to act like he didn't know what they were talking about. "I don't see him anywhere."
"Nice try Charlotte. You hide the voice about as well as Clark Kent's glasses." Aiden quipped and winked.
That and Peter standing next to MJ was another dead giveaway to a group of Spider-Man comic fans.
Aiden twirled his M logo around his fingers in neon. Giving Peter the hint.
"Wait...You're the Guardians?!" Peter asked in shock.
"Guardians?" MJ inquired since she never heard their team name.
"I thought..." Peter couldn't find the words to explain how confusing this is.
"That we'd be older? True. But that's magic for ya." Victoria shrugged.
"Perfect way to hide our secret identities." Kairi remarked.
"Well…they got you there." Mary Jane remarked while agreeing with their statement.
"Oh. Intro." Aiden started the introductions. "The names Aiden Elsenov. AKA the Maverick. and These guys are my co-workers. And by that I mean unpaid interns. And by that I mean ship crew."
"I am Groot?" Baby Groot asked feeling a sense of deja vu. Translated: "Well which is it?"
"And I'm-" Sora was about to introduce himself when they were interrupted by a duo that came up and beat him to it.
"SORA!" Donald and Goofy came running up and panting.
Sorry...We're late." Goofy huffed as he hunched over his knees and wiped the sweat off his forehead.
"The taxi driver didn't know English that well." Donald explained while huffing tirelessly as well.
Peter and Mary Jane were even more weirded out seeing them.
"Well that and he didn't know how to speak 'Donald' that well. Ahyuck!" Goofy chuckled.
"Ah Phooey." Donald snarled.
"Uh...Dog man?" Mary Jane quirked her eyebrows seeing Goofy.
"Eh….Howard? Did you lose weight or something?" Peter inquired with a raised eyebrow at Donald.
"What?! I'M NOT HOWARD THE DUCK!" Donald raged and turned red being confused for the other duck.
"That's debatable." Aiden chuckled a bit at that statement.
"Anyway I'm Sora." Sora introduced himself. "And your biggest fan."
"And I'm Kairi." his girlfriend smiled."Also your biggest fan."
"Victoria." Aiden's girlfriend introduced herself.
"Donald." The magician Duck nodded.
"And I'm Goofy." Goofy waved.
Baby Groot figured he didn't have to say his name since he said it multiple times already.
"Peter Parker." Peter introduced himself
"Mary Jane Watson." MJ introduced herself a
"So, you're here to ask him about what Fish Bowl the Magnificent got from the museum or is it about that robot head?" Victoria said while looking at MJ.
"Who?" Goofy asked about Mysterio.
"What?" Donald inquired about the museum.
The Disney duo weren't there at the museum. So they're pretty confused. But no one bothered to explain it to them.
"Actually both. Turns out Mysterio got his copy toys from 'Advanced Idea In Mechanics', AIM. Apparently they've got some serious plans for that magic stone, but we're not sure what?" Mary Jane explained while showing Sora the robot head.
"Seriously. Is it just me? Or do they both sound alike?" Peter muttered to himself listening to Victoria and Mary Jane speak.
"Well those liberal Mechanics are always trying to mimic Stark without any original ideas. But they can't seem to do it in science. So maybe they're taking a crack at magic for a change." Aiden figured while looking at the head and scanning it with his ring.
"I am Groot?" Baby Groot suggested with concern while looking around. Translate: "We should go inside, cause a couple of kids with a talking tree, duck, and dog man might draw attention."
"Our tree of life has spoken. Let's head inside." Victoria agreed as she reached for the door.
But before she reached for the door knob. The double doors slowly opened by themselves. Which made Donald gulp nervously.
Then everyone stepped through the door one by one.
"Was that the Doc's way of inviting us in, Pete?" MJ asked.
"I don't know MJ. I stopped trying to make sense with Strange years ago." Peter shrugged.
"wait...Pete?" Donald inquired.
"MJ?" Goofy pondered hearing that name.
But once they stepped inside the Sanctum's lobby. The doors closed on their own as they looked around at the medieval mythic theme and glamorous designs of the house and the many art and mystical items displayed on the walls and decor.
"Wait a minute... YOU'RE SPIDER-MAN?!" Goofy gasped in shock and delight.
Thankfully they were inside. So no one outside heard that.
"Oh boy!" Donald beamed as he realized.
"Really?" Everyone deadpanned at the Disney duo.
"Congrats guys. But you missed a couple of episodes." Victoria responded to the Disney duo sarcastically.
"I wonder how my aunt would react." Aiden pondered to himself.
"Guardians of the Multiverse." They heard someone up stairs say.
They looked up and saw the Sorcerer Supreme himself. Hovering with the help of his Cloak of Levitation as he floated his way down stairs and stood in front of everyone. Doctor Strange himself.
"Sora, Donald, Goofy, Kairi. Welcome." Doctor Strange greeted the newest members.
"Eeeh. What's up doc?" Aiden greeted while doing a Bugs Bunny impression.
"I am Groot." Baby Groot waved.
"And nice to see you too, Mav. Groot." The doctor rolled his eyes with a grin and nodded to Victoria. "Tori. You're still keeping sparky here in check, right?"
"Always." Victoria winked.
"And how are things going with you Peter?" Doctor Strange asked out of respect and concern while he greeted Peter. "I hope you're doing well considering everything that happened."
He was referring to what happened to Aunt May during the Devil's Breath crisis.
"Yeah, I'm good. For the most part." Peter said while mumbling the last part to himself, but Mary Jane knew better, and so does Strange.
Aiden had seen those eyes, he had that look since the day he lost his Mother. He could tell someone something was going on with Peter and wasn't sure what. But Aiden didn't bother asking since he felt that it wasn't his business.
"Hi, Steven." Mary Jane greeted with a handshake. "Nice to see you again."
"Nice to see you too Miss Watson." Doctor Strange smiled and shook her hand. "I'd take it this means you're both back together on first base?"
"Back?" Sora inquired, looking confused.
"We're working on it." Peter and Mary Jane said at the same time and both blushed at each other.
"Good to know. Anyway, I can tell you all have questions. But it's best if we head upstairs to continue our meeting." Doctor Strange suggested as he invited them all upstairs. "We've got a lot to discuss."
Indeed they do. Will Doctor Strange have the answers to what Mysterio is up to? Will he help the Guardians with their 'collecting hearts' predicament and shed some light on how to stop Organization XIII?
Time will tell. And it's just a few minutes away.

Also sorry I didn't drag out Aiden's baby leg scene. I just ran out of jokes and couldn't think of any more for that scene. But if you guys would like, I can post and extended delete scene of that moment in my one shot series. If you like that idea. Feel free to PM me your ideas.
And before anyone will ask. Yes! I prefer John Bubniak for Peter Parker's model over Ben Jordan. Not that Ben Jordan is awful but I'm more emotionally attached to Bubniak. And Yuri Lowenthal as Peter's voice actor is playing Peter in this story. Including all of the other voice actors from the game. Which is why made that joke with MJ and Victoria's voice. 😉
Also Doctor Strange is voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch in this series. Who else? 😏
Mysterio is voiced by Ratchet And Clank star, David Kaye. The same voice from the previous video game 'Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions'.
And as for where Earth-91119 Doctor Doom and his lackeys went after their ship fell through a portal. I'm saving that answer for a hilarious post credit scene that's not meant to tease a new villain. Just for a big laugh. So if anybody has any funny ideas of which world they ended up in, let me know in the comments.
