Typo

Military Headquarters

It was a day like any other in the office of Roy Mustang. Riza was printing off some more paperwork for Roy to sign. Roy was asleep at his desk, cluttered with papers. The others were kind of slacking, but actually getting things done at the same time.

Riza walked up to Roy's desk and dropped the pile of papers in front of him.

"BANG!" they landed.

Roy sat straight up. "Riza, I didnt do it!"

"Colonel, calm down. Its just paperwork." She sighed, "Thats all there is for today, sir." She motioned to the inch high stack of papers.

She walked back to her desk to continue and complete her work. Roy picked up a page and began to work.

Half an hour later, Roy finally made it to the last page. He began to read it and started to laugh.

"Leutenant Hawkeye," Roy walked up to her, "What is this about?" He asked handing her the paper with a blank expression.

She looked at him. "What do you mean, sir?"

He nodded towards the paper in her hands. "Read it."

Riza started to read, and then she saw it. A collosal mistake on her part. One she was sure to regret. It was supposed to say "Roy Mustang" but somehow or another the "R" was switched with a "T". It read 'colonel Toy Mustang'.

"Its just a typo, sir." She told him, "Its easy to mix up the "r" and the "t" on the keyboard. They are right beside each other."

"Oh really?" Roy smirked, "Maybe you did it on purpose."

The others were listening now, pretending to be hard at work.

"Oh please, sir! Why would I do that?" She questioned.

He leaned in and whispered, "Stop playing with me Riza."

'Hmm, play. "Toy" Mustang just told her to stop playing with him. You play with toys.' She thought and had to cough to mask her laughter.

"Leutenant?" He looked confused, "What is the matter?"

She regained her composure. "Nothing, sir."

"Hawkeye!" He hissed.

She had to fight to keep from laughing. She whispered, "Roy, its just that, " She paused, "You play with toys."

He looked at her strange for a moment, then he got it. "Leutenant, I never knew. Are you saying you want to play with me?" He smirked.

"Thats not what I said, colonel." She flushed.

"Its what you implied." His eyes sparkled, "Meet me outside the theatre at six." He walked away.

"But colonel!"

Roy cut her off, "I wont take no for an answer, Leutenant."

He left Riza sitting there in disbelief, and the others went back to work, for real. A small smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. The typo was an accident, that she saw and passed on to Roy, not expecting he'd actually read it. He read it, and it turned out better than she'd expected.

THE END

Okay, so that one was really short. I got the idea from it from my first fic "Baked apple pie", cuz everytime i wanted to hit the R it put a T...I always get those mixed up. And when writing I get the R's and F's mixed up. weird? Yes.

R&R luv yas
