We're back folks! 🎉🎉🎉
WOO BOY! Where do I start? Um….Okay for starters. I'm sorry again for taking so long yet again. And also…..
HOLY SHIZZDIP! DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS WAS FRICKEN AWESOME! 😃
"But also it was shit your pants scary." Maverick remarked. 😱
Well not like 'IT' scary but just on its own terms. It was still an action adventure superhero film. America Chávez earns her place in the MCU and everyone else in the film did a great job with their roles. Especially Wanda Maximoff AKA the Scarlet Witch, who came straight and out of Wandavision.
"And our beloved Eggs Benedict does his magic yet again." Maverick quipped.
I would say that while the style and trippy action is doubled in this film, it might leave a bigger impression than the last Doctor Strange. I still like the first film much more because it had a more focused plot. Because there are times that this current film loses itself in the action and style to a point that we forget the plot. That and there were times were I was like 'wow that was….Umm…Just Why? Why did they do that? I would've done something different than that!'
But the movie is still an amazing ride nonetheless. Maybe not as amazing as Spider-Man No Way Home was. But still a worthy addition into the MCU.
I'm gonna give Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness a 7.8 out of 10. 👍
But anyway, back to this story. If you've read the title you know that Sora and Kairi are returning to the book of Pooh finally! 👍
I will be adding some book and film reference including two songs from the Pooh movies and one at the end which was always a tear jerker of my childhood
But first. Let's answer some comments.
SPYRO 101: Thank you! Yep! We're near the home stretch now. Thanks again for helping me write this chapter. 👍😁
RustyPete12: Thank you! Even Maverick has his limits. But it depends who or what he's up against. Being up against a god would put any mighty warrior at odds. As for what happened the first time. Well….Let's just say Mortal Kombat is located in Game Central Station. 👍😉
"Don't ever fight Kitana without protective gear and a kombat warranty. I learned that the hard way." Maverick shuttered and muttered. "I didn't know vans could be that sharp." 😓
Alright! Now that we're all here!
LET'S GET DANGEROUS! 😎😎😎
Back To The Days Of Pooh.
The next morning on the Highwind II...
The ship as everyone knows is well accommodated. In which everyone can have their own rooms to sleep in and have privacy. Sora was still in his bedroom. His shoes were off and laying on the metallic floor as the lights were dimmed due to the fact that there is no daylight in space. His alarm went off and stopped almost twenty minutes ago and he was just slouching on his bed. Snoring. This has been a long trip so far. And while Sora enjoyed it. Going into space. Having an adventure with new friends.
Especially with Kairi.
A part of him couldn't wait for it to be over. Sora wanted to be done with the Organization and so he could finally head back home to Destiny Islands. But he wondered. Would it ever be the same without Riku? The best thing about this is that Kairi will help make this easier for Sora. Because she's now there for him. And refuses to let go.
Speaking of Kairi. She managed to sneak into Sora's bedroom without waking him up. Mischievously. Sora yawned as he sat his head up and laid back on the pillow.
Only it wasn't a pillow. It was Kairi's lap. Sora's eyes burst open to see Kairi smiling down at him.
"Woah!" Sora shot up as he rose and turned to see Kairi sitting on his bed. Giggling at him.
Kairi was still in her outfit. But without the extra sleeve guard. And her boots were still off. It's how she sleeps.
"Give me a break Kairi." Sora moaned at his girlfriend.
"Sora, you lazy bum. I knew I'd find you snoozing in here." Kairi smirked teasingly as she tapped his nose playfully and softly added. "Just like old times, right?"
Sora groaned for a second before turning into a playful smirk.
"Yeah, just like old times." Sora said before taking her by surprise and kissed her on the lips.
Kairi gasped, not expecting that before she closed her eyes and returned the kiss. Kairi wrapped her arms around his neck as he pulled her onto his lap, holding close as they kissed each other. They broke the kiss a moment later to catch their breaths.
"Well, that was different, and very bold." Kairi giggled while she wiggled and curled her toes.
"Yeah, it was. Hope you don't mind." Sora said with a kind smile.
"Not at all. In fact, why did we stop?" Kairi teased before kissing Sora again, and the two stayed like that, holding each other close, in the warmth of their newfound love as they kissed.
Sora could do this all day if he and Kairi had the ability to. They were made for each other. And they both shared the same destiny. Sora broke the kiss slowly so he could ask Kairi a question.
"I know I'm way too late to ask but. How were things back home on the islands? I mean... you know. After me, Donald and Goofy restored them and the other worlds." Sora asked. Wondering what things were like back home.
"Well, things were pretty calm, but very boring for me without you around. But I knew deep down, we would see each other again. And I wanted to make sure I was strong like you when that day came." Kairi said, leaning her head on his shoulders, savoring the closeness. "So I chose to take some combat training in martial arts class at school. I was at the top of my class before I joined the team."
"Cool. Did you take any pictures?" Sora asked as he was interested to hear how well Kairi did in class.
"Yeah, Selphie took a bunch for me during class." Kairi explained. "She's even taken up photography at school. And the pictures she took of me were really good."
"I bet they are. I mean her name is Selphie after all." Sora remarked.
Since 'Selphie' sounds a lot like 'Selfie'.
"Hehe. Now that I think about it. She kinda has been taking a lot of pictures of herself also. But she's hoping to get the attention of a new boy in school. The one with a cowboy hat." Kairi smirked and explained. "The new kid's name is Irvine. He's kind of a cowboy enthusiast, who's hoping to become the next Clint Eastwood. A bit of a show off. But he's no blow hard like Tidus."
"Heh heh. I was wondering about that little rascal. What has Tidus been up to for the last year?" Sora asked amusingly.
"He recently became the youngest member of the fencing club." Kairi said about Tidus. "He's always been obsessed with sword play. Like a modern day samurai."
"Does he have any competition?" Sora inquired.
Sora always knew Tidus had a warrior's spirit even if he always pushed himself. Which is why Sora would always help Tidus by fencing and practicing with him.
In a way. Sora always saw a little bit of himself in Tidus.
"Just the occasional rival, but he has been trying to impress Yuna with his skills, even though he's still a bit too shy to be up front with her about it." Kairi giggled at the thought.
"Yuna? Who's that?" Sora asked, never having heard that name before.
"She's another new kid in school. She and two others make up a trio they call the Gullwings. The other two members of the Gullwings are Rikku and Paine." Kairi explained, catching Sora's attention with one of the names she just mentioned.
"Wait, I'm sorry... Rikku?" Sora asked, looking very confused. Which made Kairi giggle.
"That's Rikku with two Ks instead of one." Kairi giggled at Sora's dumbfounded look.
"Oh. Right..." Sora rubbed the back of his neck feeling like a total sap. "Are the Gullwings like Athletes?"
"Only in gym class. They're currently trying to ace Archaeology in history class so they can grow up to become explorers. Travel the world and discover new things around the world." Kairi described the Gullwings.
"Like...Tomb Raiders?" Sora asked, looking interested.
But in Kairi's eyes he amusingly almost sounded like a dork who's into video games. Kairi just giggled at her boyfriend's silliness.
"Sora, you Lazy Bum. You sound just like a nerd heavily into video games." Kairi teased her boyfriend good-naturedly. "You're such a dork."
"Hey! I was just curious, that's all!" Sora said defensively as he pouted. "What boy isn't into video games these days?"
Kairi croned and pinched his cheek softly.
"Awe... You look so cute when you out like that." Kairi cooed and kissed his lips briefly, which brought a goofy smile to his face at the affection. This made Kairi giggle more. "Now you just look silly."
"Oh yeah. Well...You're cute!" Sora sassed back, before he looked exasperated and muttered. "That was meant to be an insult."
Kairi just smirked at her boyfriend.
"If it was, it was the sweetest insult I've ever heard." Kairi teased Sora.
"Ugh..." Sora groaned quietly, feeling embarrassed before he came up with something to change the subject. "I almost forgot to ask about Wakka. What has he been up to?"
"Oh. Well….. He's recently taken over as the captain of the volleyball team. And they've really been killing it out there." Kairi stated, thinking over the volleyball team's recent success. "In fact, they made it all the way to the finals last year. They'll win for sure this year though."
"Awesome!" Sora beamed hearing about him.
"Plus he and Lulu finally got together." Kairi smiled.
"Wait. Lulu? As in the school beauty queen on campus?" Sora's eyes widened.
"Yep." Kairi beamed.
"How? I thought she wasn't into him." Sora asked, looking surprised.
Lulu was a girl who sat in the same class as Wakka. She never showed interest in a beach bum like him because Wakka always acted like a dweeb.
"That's what we thought. It turns out Lulu had nothing against him. We figured that out at the Carnival during Valentine's Day." Kairi stated as they sat up next to each other on the bed.
"What happened?" Sora asked.
"Lulu saw a stuffed Moggle at a ball tossing game. But she couldn't win it. So Wakka paid for his round and won the toy. Then he gave it to Lulu as a gift." Kairi revealed.
"And I'm guessing that won her over?" Sora surmised.
"Definitely. In fact that was the first and only time Lulu ever had a big smile on her face." Kairi smiled as she looked back. Then she added, "Wakka basically showed Lulu who he really was instead of what his public image tells him. Apparently she didn't want anyone to take advantage of her and her reputation. She realized Wakka would never do that. So she saw no problem with becoming his Valentine that night."
Wakka and Lulu now go to the beach together. They never go without each other.
"That's great. They deserve each other." Sora smiled, happy for his friend back home. "And Wakka definitely earned it."
"Hehe! Agreed. Our home is going to have a lot in store for us when we return." Kairi breathed as she smiled warmly as she held his hand.
Sora's smile waived as he looked down with sadness in his eyes.
"It won't be the same without Riku, though." Sora muttered sadly, really missing his big brother figure.
Kairi's smile faded too as she gave him a sympathetic look. And she leaned her head on his shoulder and stroked her fingers through his spiky hair.
"I know. I miss him too, Sora. But, it helps to know he's been there for us in the end." Kairi softly said.
"Yeah. You're right. He was." Sora said before putting on a brave smile. "And no matter what, he'll always be in our hearts."
Kairi held a hand to her chest, thinking of Riku.
"Yeah, he will. Always." Kairi said with a small smile on her face.
"Attention Passengers this is your captain speakin. Could a Mr and Mrs Goku and Chi Chi meet me in the tech room. We gotta a catch for ya'll." Aiden spoke on the ship's intercom like a western airline pilot.
Sora just rolled his eyes while Kairi giggled.
"I swear, that guy really doesn't have an off switch." Sora muttered.
"Yeah, but what fun would there be if there was? Come on. Let's go see what Captain Insanity wants" Kairi remarked before giving Sora a quick kiss.
She got off his lap and stood on her feet, holding out a hand for him to take.
"Right, let's go." Sora said, taking Kairi's hand before he stood up and put on his shoes and followed his girlfriend out of the room, hand in hand.
In the tech and research room...
The room was designed with the same tech and equipment like Aiden's research wing in the Mav Club. Only smaller. It had a wall full of weapons mods for keyblades. Potions and ethers. And a fabrication chamber. Aiden was currently sitting on the terminal as he was working on repairing a special familiar book. Which was being contained in a glass pedestal with several light scanners zooming and shining around it.
Just then the door automatically opened as Sora came in. And Kairi, who also grabbed her shoes and sleeve guard before coming in.
"Hi Aiden." Sora greeted his friend.
"Good morning Aiden." Kairi chirped. "What are you working on?"
"Something that's long overdue. And there's not a library to prove it." Aiden answered as he gestured the book on the repair pedestal.
Sora's eyes widened when they landed on a familiar book.
"Hey, it's Pooh's book!" Sora exclaimed happily.
"Does this mean that it's almost finished repairing itself?" Kairi asked, hope in her eyes.
"Sort of. All the pages are back in place and nothing has faded out. This thing would look and smell like it's fresh from Barnes & Noble if it weren't for the front cover." Aiden gestured that the cover image still looked scraped and torn. "It's almost like it refuses to fix its front."
Everything was back in order except for the front art cover. It was still torn after those Heartless tried to take it.
"Is there anything we can do?" Sora asked, concerned.
"Not we. You." Aiden looked at Sora.
"Huh?" Sora tilted his head looking confused.
"The cover doesn't just represents the conditions of the world inside. But also your connection to Pooh since you're on the cover. And as long as that connection is severed. If the art remains looking screwed up. Pooh and his friends will remain separated as well." Aiden explained. "Which kinda makes a lot of sense considering that you're now their Christopher Robin."
"Christopher…. Robin?" Sora asked, confused, having never heard that name before.
"Right. I forgot to tell you." Aiden stopped typing on the terminal to turn and look at Sora and Kairi. "This book is actually the original copy, of a book series that was published in Great Britain back in 1926. By an author named A. A. Milne. He based the book on his son. Christopher Robin Milne, who had a very wide range of imaginations with all of his stuffed animals."
"So, Pooh and all his friends in the book were created based off of Christopher's imagination?" Kairi asked intrigued.
"Exactly. When the book was published and sold all over the world. It brought joy to many children and became the pinnacle of childhood innocence. Because of this. After Christopher Robin passed away in 1996. The book was put in a museum, including all of his toys. Especially the original Pooh doll." Aiden stated.
"Woah. That's...Sad." Sora said while taking that in.
"But here's what many don't know. The book in the museum. Is actually a replica. You see, from the heart of every child that reads the book. Somehow the light of their innocence collectively awoke the light from within the book and every character in it. Magically bringing it to life. Because of this, Merlin was able to acquire the book when he realized it was alive and managed to retrieve it, and switch the book out with a forgery. With a little help from Scrooge." Aiden revealed.
"So, the light from the hearts of children, created a world within the book, and brought those characters to life? That's just... Wow." Kairi was in awe that the hearts of children basically created a living world within a book.
"It's just like when the hearts of children repaired the Multiverse with their light, after the keyblade war." Sora realized the similarity.
"Which is why the Heartless can't touch the book, let alone get inside it." Aiden figured and shrugged. "I just assumed it was because they hated the smell of honey, until they tried to steal it."
"They wanted it because there's the heart of a world within it, along with its inhabitants." Kairi surmised.
"Even though this is the only copy that's alive. Every child feels this world whenever they read from it. Their hearts become stronger as their innocence grows with it." Aiden explained. "And if this book goes. Every copy and memory of Winnie the Pooh goes with it. Including the light it gives to the hearts of many children. The only thing Kids would be left with is... I don't know...probably Batman comics. Or maybe your occasional Dr. Seuss book."
The others just rolled their eyes at the young Maverick's antics.
"Well then, we'll just have to make sure that doesn't happen." Sora said confidently.
"I mean sure those kids will still have the Bible...Nah. King James is a total drama queen. Though I prefer the Jewish version. A lot more blue in that one..." Aiden muttered to himself as he pondered
"Uh...Aiden?" Sora waved his hand, getting his attention.
"Huh? Oh yeah! Like I said. Don't worry about the Heartless entering. It's safe with us on the ship. The book just needs Christopher Robin to be restored. More specifically. You." Aiden pointed at Sora.
"Can I go too?" Kairi asked timidly.
"You have to go. Pooh met you also and you're Spike's second half." Aiden affirmed and warned. "But just her. For now. No one else can enter the book until you and Pooh reconnect. Are you ready?"
"Ready whenever." Sora said with a confident smile.
"Same here." Kairi said, smiling as well.
"Well then." Aiden went over to the pedestal and opened the book. "Hop in."
Then a light flashed over the room as Sora and Kairi were magically sent into the book. Sora and Kairi were ready to help. For Pooh and his friends needed their help.
Down at Piglet's House...
Deep in the Hundred Acre Woods, by a large tree, Pooh was standing around with his arms crossed. Pondering like it was a lot to think about. Even if there was very little for him to think about. When you are a 'Bear of Very Little Brain' , and you try to think of things, you find sometimes that a 'thing' which seemed very 'thingish' inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.
A quote from the book that is….
Behind Pooh was something rolling and digging fast from underground, then Gopher popped out of a hole in the ground.
"Say, what's wrong, sonny?" Gopher asked Pooh with his voice blowing a whistle through his buck teeth.
Pooh turned around and smiled at Gopher.
"Oh, I was just thinking... And- and wondering." Pooh said, his whimsical smile never leaving him.
"You should be skedaddlin' outta here." Gopher told him.
"Why?" Pooh asked.
"Why? Because it's Windsday, of course!" Gopher replied happily before going back into his hole.
"Windsday? Oh! Well then, happy Windsday!" Pooh said down to Gopher. "Now, I think I shall wish everyone a happy Windsday."
Pooh started walking before stopping after a few steps.
"Oh, bother. Let's see now. Who is "Everyone"?" Pooh said before he sat down and began to think and tap his head in thought some more.
Over at the path to Piglet's house. Sora and Kairi are walking down a dirt path, hand in hand as they take in their surroundings.
The wind started to pick up all of a sudden and Then…
*Pow!*
"Ouch!" Sora exclaimed, as something hit him in the back of his head.
"You okay?" Kairi asked out of concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Sora said as he stood up straight, and rubbed the back of his head to soothe the pain. "Wonder if Pooh's here..."
"I'm sure we'll see him eventually." Kairi figured.
The wind picked up again. And the two looked up to see Piglet up in the air, being blown away as he was sprinting in the air helplessly trying to get out of the air stream.
"Oh, h-help, help! Somebody s-s-save me!" Piglet cried out in distress as he blew by his house.
"Piglet?!" Sora called out to the little piglet as he grabbed on to a branch on the tree of his home and hung on for dear life.
"Sora! Help! Please!" Piglet called out as he was being waved around.
"Hold on, little guy!" Kairi called up to him.
Sora and Kairi ran up pass Piglet's house to catch up with the wind that was carrying Piglet away. But Kairi was the one who ran up a tree and kicked off into the air for her to flip and reached with her hand. She caught Piglet straight out of the strong wind. And then she landed on the ground to let him down gently.
"There you go." Kairi cooed as she bent down to his view.
"Phew...T-thank you. I thought I was going to c-crash for sure." Piglet said gratefully to Kairi before he noticed Sora. "Oh, h-hello Sora. What brings you h-here on this fine blustery day today?"
" I was just stopping by to pay everyone a visit." Sora said before gesturing to Kairi. "Kairi, this is Piglet. Piglet, this is Kairi, my girlfriend."
"Hi Piglet. It's nice to meet you." Kairi said, giving Piglet a friendly smile.
"Nice to meet you too Kairi." Piglet smiled back before he noticed someone coming over from behind her. "Oh, here comes Pooh Bear."
They both turned and saw Winnie the Pooh walking up to them acting optimistic and with oblivious innocence. And more than likely hungry for something sweet to eat. Same as ever on the surface.
"Pooh! You're alright!" Sora said as he was glad to see him.
"Why, hello. It's nice to meet you all. Happy Windsday." Pooh greeted everyone standing there. Even Piglet.
"N-nice to m-meet you? But Pooh, it's me. Piglet." Piglet said looking horrified as he asked. "Don't you remember me?"
"And do you remember Sora? You're both friends." Kairi insisted to Pooh.
"We are? Hmmmm..." Pooh tried to ponder as he was tapping his head. "Oh Bother. It seems I can't remember."
"Oh, Pooh..." Piglet sulked as he looked down sadly and walked away slowly.
But before anyone could say or console the poor little pig. A gust of wind blew in front of him and Piglet was alerted as he was being carried away by the wind.
"Wo-woah! Oh d-d-dear! Goodbye Sora and Kairi! Goodbye Pooh!" Piglet yelled from up in the sky.
"Oh my. Looks rather fun doesn't it?" Pooh innocently looked up as Piglet was being waved up and around the winds.
Sora and Kairi ran over Piglet as Sora saw that the wind was becoming a stream in the sky. Kairi noticed as both of them nodded to each other while running. So Kairi shot out a wind spell from her keyblade. Giving Sora a boost for him to leap up in the sky. Then Sora used his free flow ability to ride the air stream like a skater driving on a pipe.
"H-Help! I'd come down by myself, but I'm not sure how at the moment!" Piglet yelped out in fear as he was being waved around in the wind.
"Hang on Piglet!" Sora called out.
Suddenly Piglet was being blown harder by the wind before Sora could reach him. The next thing anyone knew, Piglet fell into the hole of a large tree. Which happens to be a honey tree. And where there is honey. There are bees.
Sora's eyes widened before he jumped off the wind and landed down on the ground.
"Sora! What happened?!" Kairi ran up to him.
"Piglet fell into a beehive! Up there!" Sora pointed up at the hole at the top of the tree.
"Oh no! We gotta go get him out!" Kairi looked worried as she was about to run up the tree.
"Woah now! calm, my dear." They heard a voice say.
Then they looked over to see Owl flying over and perching on a branch next to them.
"Who are you?" Kairi asked.
"That's Owl. He's one of Pooh's smartest friends." Sora introduced Kairi and whispered the last part. "Sort of. At times it's questionable."
"Oh. Right." Kairi winked at Sora before she introduced herself. "I'm Kairi. Sora's girlfriend.
Which made Owl give a short elegant greeting bow.
"Well now. Nice to meet you, my dear. As you can see. Our friend Piglet will be fine for now. As long as the bees remain asleep." Owl stated and leaned towards the tree. "Listen.."
***Snore Bzzzzzzz Snore Bzzzzzz Snore Bzzzzzzzz.***
The bees were still snoring. The wind must've been so loud that it blocked the noise of Piglet falling in. Piglet kept his mouth clamped as he was surrounded by dozens. Hundreds of sleeping bees.
Back down below the tree. Owl explained.
"You see. All of those buzzing little devils remain asleep. Just as long as you agitate the tree by climbing or running off of it. Otherwise you would wake the bees." Owl explained elegantly.
"Oh. Good point. But how will we get up there?" Kairi asked. "Those bees can't stay asleep forever."
"Quite right, my Dear. Which is why I have two pieces of our solution. In fact, the first one is walking over now." Owl gestured towards Pooh who was walking over on his little bear legs.
Pooh then sniffed and hummed with a smile as his eyes closed. He could smell the honey.
"Hmmmm...I do smell something sweet to eat. And by the sound of those snores must be those are bees. And the only reason for being a bee is to make honey." Pooh spoke to himself as he toddled over to the tree next to them and looked up. "And the only reason for making honey is so I can eat it."
"He said that the last time I was here." Sora whispered to Kairi, finding it kinda amusing.
Kairi just giggled at that.
"Oh boy, what a silly old bear." Kairi giggled, looking at Pooh and his honey-fueled antics.
"And here is solution number two." Owl stated as he pointed at the red balloon tied to a twig on the ground.
"But. How will that help him get honey?" Sora asked, looking at Owl for a second. Before he looked over at Pooh who untied the balloon string from the twig and was almost floated off the ground by the balloon.
"I shall fly like a bee. Up to the honey tree." Pooh declared as he held on to the bottom of the string.
Thankfully Sora caught him by the foot.
"Woah there. I don't think you can fool the bees that way, Pooh." Sora stated.
"Oh. I almost forgot. Would you be so kind as to tow me to a muddy place, of which I know of?" Pooh asked politely as he pointed over at the mud puddle.
"That would be solution number three." Owl declared before flying away.
So Sora complied and led Pooh over to the mud puddle. Or in this case, the very muddy place. Kairi held onto the balloon before Pooh got in the puddle and rolled all over. Pooh rolled and rolled and rolled. Until he was black all over and drippy.
(Just like what Disney will do to Ariel next year. 😂 ***Drum beat**)
Then Pooh toddled over to Sora and Kairi while humming. "There, now. Isn't this a clever disguise." He said.
"Well...That depends. What are you supposed to be?" Sora asked, looking confused.
Pooh looked down at himself before he answered. "Why, I'm a little black rain cloud of course."
This just made Kairi giggle and roll her eyes.
"Oh, Pooh. You really are a silly old bear, aren't you." Kairi giggled.
"Well, I guess it's not the worst idea I've ever heard. Who knows, it just might work." Sora said, scratching the back of his head, making Kairi giggle even more.
"Hehe….Lazy Bum." Kairi teased, finding it funny how silly both Pooh and her boyfriend can be. "Can't climb a tree yourself, huh?"
"What is a lazy bum?" Pooh asked Kairi innocently."Is that like a busy bee?"
"Oh no. Sora would be the opposite of a busy bee." Kairi mused with a giggle.
"Kairi..." Sora groaned quietly.
"I see. Well. Would the lazy bum be so kind as to aim me at the bees? Please?" Pooh pointed up at the beehive.
Sora wasn't amused being called that by Pooh. But it wasn't the silly bear's fault anyway.
"Sure... Hold on tight, and be careful Pooh." Sora said as he gave Pooh the balloon and he held him up after counting. "Four….Three…..Two…..One!"
And as Pooh was floating from the balloon. Holding on as he was slowly ascending the honey tree. The magic of Fantasia began causing him to sing a little tune as he floated up.
"I'm just a little black rain, cloud~ Hovering under the honey tree~ I'm only a little black rain, cloud~ Pay no attention to little me~" Pooh sang as he was floating up.
Sora looked up smiling in amusement with his arms crossed. While Kairi was waving her head to the tune.
"Everyone knows that a rain, cloud~ Never eats honey, no not a nip~" Kairi sang softly with Pooh as she swayed her head slowly to the tune..
"I'm just floating around~ Over the ground~ Wondering where I will drip~" Pooh sang as he finally made it to the beehive.
And he saw poor Piglet still trap and shaking inside.
"P-P-P-Pooh?" Piglet gasped as he quietly crawled out of the beehive and latched onto Pooh. "You've come to save me."
"I have? Hmmm...And I thought I was coming up for Breakfast." Pooh pondered as he was holding the balloon.
As he was saying this. The Balloon slowly descended back down to the ground due to Piglet adding a little bit more weight for it to stay afloat.
Thus Piglet was finally out of the beehive. And so was Pooh who was still rumbling in his tummy.
"Piglet! Are you alright?" Kairi asked as she and Sora came over to check on them.
"I am now. Whew. That was r-rather frightening." Piglet sighed in total relief.
"Oh I am glad you're alright Piglet." Pooh smiled at his little friend.
This caught everyone's attention.
"Oh, P-Pooh! You remembered my name?" Piglet asked with hope. "You really, truly remembered?"
"Of course, Piglet." Pooh said to Piglet. "But today I think I shall call you "my friend Piglet who is very brave ``!''
"Me? Very brave? No..." Piglet said to the bear. "But it's easy to be brave when I have- have a wonderful friend like you, Pooh Bear!"
"I'm happy for you guys." Sora smiled, looking down at the two friends.
"Yeah, I'm happy for you guys too!" Kairi said cheerfully.
"Oh, and thank you for rescuing my friend Piglet... Some-People-I-Don't-Know." Pooh said to Sora and Kairi, still having not remembered them.
"Oh... Uh, sure. Don't mention it." Sora sighed in exasperation while giving a small smile, but understanding that it's still gonna take time for him to remember them.
"Yeah, we were happy to help." Kairi said to Pooh with a small smile.
Even though Pooh hasn't remembered them. They were at least making progress with Pooh remembering Piglet. But then Kairi had to wonder. What if Pooh doesn't remember everyone else in the book?
Suddenly a gust of wind blew again. Which wasn't a problem for Piglet since he grabbed onto Kairi's hand to keep him on the ground. Unfortunately for Pooh. He was still holding onto the balloon.
"Oh bother..." Pooh gripped the balloon string with both hands as he floated away fast.
"Not again!" Sora took off running after pooh.
"Hang on Pooh!" Kairi ran with him while she picked up and held Piglet since he was too small to keep up.
They ran out of the area of Piglet's house and ran down further into the woods. Towards a house Pooh was familiar with. A house where he can always expect a small smackerel of something sweet to eat. Whenever he has nowhere else to go.
Down at Rabbit's Garden...
Sora and Kairi ran down the path towards Rabbit's garden where they looked up and saw Pooh still floating up and about. But not as fast anymore as the winds were starting to die down finally.
Pooh began lowering towards the ground a few yards away. Over in that direction, Eeyore has his house of sticks set up.
"Oh d-d-d-dear!" Piglet said from his spot in Kairi's arms.
"Come on!" Sora said and he and Kairi ran towards their direction.
Over to Pooh, he continued floating down until he crashed into Eeyore's little house of sticks, making it fall down as Pooh lost his grip on the balloon, making it float away.
Sora and Kairi ran up to the two to make sure they were okay.
"Eeyore, Pooh. Are you okay?" Sora asked the two.
"Yeah, you scared us there for a moment." Kairi said, setting Piglet down on the ground as Pooh started to think again.
"Gosh, that's too bad, Eeyore." Sora said, leaning down with his hands on his knees. "After all that hard work..."
"No matter. Most likely would have fallen down anyway." Eeyore said with his usual depressed tone.
"Well, I'll help you fix your house, Eeyore." Piglet said, walking up to the donkey.
"Oh, hello there Piglet. Thanks for offerin'." Eeyore greeted Piglet. "Wouldn't want to spoil your fun day, though."
Pooh finally stopped his thinking pose and stood up from the ground.
"Well, hello, Piglet." Pooh greeted Piglet before turning towards Eeyore. "And hello, Somebody-I-Don't-Know."
"Pooh, this is Eeyore. You know Eeyore, don't you?" Sora said to Pooh.
"Um, I do?" Pooh asked before he went back to thinking.
"What could've happened to him?" Sora muttered out in thought.
"I guess his memories are still a bit mixed up." Kairi muttered to Sora.
Suddenly, Pooh's stomach growled very loudly, snapping him out of his thinking and started looking around him.
"Oh, I have an idea!" Piglet exclaimed, getting Sora and Kairi's attention. "Maybe Pooh's tummy is so rumbly that it's making him forget. If we bring him some honey, he's sure to remember!"
"Well... Um..." Sora said with his arms crossed in thought. "I guess it's worth a try."
"Might work. But prob'ly not" Eeyore said with his usual downcasted tone.
"Well, we won't know for certain until we try." Kairi said with an optimistic tone.
"First we gotta find some honey." Sora said, looking around.
"The question is, where can we find some around here." Kairi said, looking around for a place that might have honey.
"If honey's what you're looking for, I know just the place." Eeyore told them. "Follow me."
With that, Eeyore began walking away with everyone following behind him as they walked towards Rabbit's house.
They went around the guest entrance, passed the garden until they made it over to the hole which is considered to be Rabbit's front entrance.
Before they did however. Rabbit had just finished setting up a stock pile on the right corner of his front hole. Hoping that no one would find it this time. Before he left to go and bring the last pot. As a smart bunny. Rabbit is always working whenever he doesn't have time to play or visit. He usually does from time to time. But gardening and preparing for each season was important to him. As well as making sure all his friends in the Hundred Acre Woods were being prepared as well. Usually though some things go wrong whenever Tigger bounces in his garden. Or if Pooh ever eats up his honey.
This was about to be one of those latter times.
Just then Eeyore led Pooh and the others over to a stock pile of honey, just sitting there unattended. About six pots of honey to be exact.
"This is the place I told you about." Eeyore said droopy like.
"Wow! Look at that." Sora was amazed to see that much honey.
"That is a lot." Kairi remarked before looking concerned. "But..."
"How yummy for my tummy!" Pooh chirped as he came over and sat down in front of the first pot before he began to chow down on the honey inside. Slurping it down.
"But. Doesn't that honey belong to someone?" Piglet asked, looking cautious.
"That's just what I was thinking." Kairi muttered feeling the same way.
After that moment Pooh's meal started. Rabbit had gotten back along with another jar of honey in his arms. Just to add to the rest. Not knowing it will fill the empty space in a bear's tummy.
"There. Now all I'll have to do is..." Rabbit halted when he saw Pooh eating up the last jar and gasped "OH NO! My honey! Pooh? Did you eat all of my honey?!"
"Oh, Hello. It's nice to meet you." Pooh said to Rabbit, stumping him.
"What did you say?" Rabbit asked, not quite sure he heard him right.
"Is that for me, too?" Pooh asked, gesturing to the pot of honey Rabbit was holding before walking up to him and taking the pot from Rabbit, making him slump over in exasperation and defeat as Pooh sat down and started eating from the pot.
"Oh, I was sure I'd found a safe place for it, too..." Rabbit groaned.
"Sorry. It's our fault. We brought Pooh here." Sora said, feeling guilty.
Rabbit looked over and saw Sora and Kairi.
"Oh, hello, Sora... It's good to see you again." Rabbit greeted Sora before his eyes caught Kairi. "I see you brought a new friend with you."
"Yeah, this is Kairi, my girlfriend." Sora introduced. "Kairi, this is Rabbit."
"It's nice to meet you, Kairi." Rabbit said to Kairi.
"Same here..." Kairi said before looking down guiltily. "And we're really sorry about this."
"It's quite alright. I know Pooh can't be stopped when he gets this hungry." Rabbit reassured the two.
Pooh finished the pot a moment later before standing up again and facing Rabbit.
"Pardon me, Somebody-I-Don't-Know. Is there any more?" Pooh asked Rabbit.
Rabbit crossed his arms and looked at Pooh.
"Are you feeling alright, Pooh?" Rabbit asked Pooh. "Could you really have forgotten all about me? What on earth is going on?"
"Is there any more honey? You see, my tummy's rumbling." Pooh said to Rabbit.
"That's it! He's so hungry, he can't remember a thing!" Rabbit exclaimed in realization.
"Oh! We thought that, too." Piglet replied.
"Yeah, it's actually the reason we came over here." Kairi said, gesturing around them.
"Then let's stuff this bear full of honey!" Rabbit said with determination.
"I wouldn't get my hopes up." Eeyore said in his usual tone.
"But I thought Pooh ate all your honey, Rabbit?" Sora said while looking confused.
"From the looks of it, he didn't even leave a single drop behind." Kairi muttered.
"Oh, I've got more." Rabbit stated before explaining. "Must have emergency rations. But I hid them a bit too well."
"How well?" Sora asked.
"Underground actually. I made sure to put a top on them of course. I even left a safe spot where no one would suspect it." Rabbit stated as he sounded clever while he led everyone to a spot just a few paces away from his entrance. "Right there." Rabbit pointed at the ground.
Which had words written on the ground as if it were an X. The words read ***'No Hunny down here!'***
"Um...Sure." Kairi weirdly responded.
Normally that would be a dead give away. But Pooh and his friends are as bright as someone who is doing well in second grade.
"R-right." Sora felt the same way.
"Now all we need is some shovels and we can-" Rabbit almost suggested.
"Oh no need. I got this one." Kairi beamed as she summoned her keyblade and shifted it into a cartoon looking tractor mouth. Blowing all of them away. Even Sora.
Then Kairi aimed the tractor's mouth down on the dirt as it scooped up all the dirt and lifted it up off the ground. Revealing the other pots of honey just below ground.
"U-uh. Well. Yes. That works too." Rabbit said as he was flabbergasted but he shook off his shock and acted unaffected with his hands behind his back. "Good job Kairi."
"Thank you." Kairi smiled.
"I'll gather all the pots from down there." Sora said as he went down the hole to pick up all of Rabbit's rationed pots.
"And I'll fill up the hole afterwards." Kairi added.
"If I may ask. When did you pick up that trick?" Sora asked as he was placing the jars of honey out of the hole.
"Remember that construction site back in Disney Town? In the past?" Kairi reminded Sora.
She must've got her keyblade to copy what those cartoon tractors were doing around the construction yard.
"Oh. Gotcha." Sora grinned figuring it out.
After that little moment. Sora placed all the jars over by Rabbit's entrance and Kairi had finished using her keyblade magic to fill the hole she dug back up. With all the honey pots gathered and with the lids taken off. Pooh could now dine-in in seconds.
There now, Pooh. Have just as much as you like." Rabbit said to Pooh.
"Why, thank you!" Pooh said, sitting down in front of the pots and started to eat his fill while everyone stood close by.
A while later, all the honey was eaten, leaving not even a drop. Pooh stood up and faced everyone.
"Pardon me, Kind Somebody, but do you know where I might find another smackerel or two of honey?" Pooh asked, making everyone groan and slump down in exasperation. Their plan didn't work.
"Guess that didn't work as planned." Kairi murmured.
"And I was really hoping it would." Sora murmured.
Pooh, with his whimsical smile, walked past the group and towards the entrance hole to Rabbit's house.
"My tummy seems to be telling me there's some honey right in there." Pooh said and started climbing through the hole.
"Uh oh." Sora said, looking at what just happened.
"Not good." Kairi muttered.
Predictably. Pooh got himself stuck inside the hole. Like last time. But at least it wasn't from inside Rabbit's house.
"Bother. I'm stuck." Pooh said, kicking his legs slightly.
"He still doesn't remember." Rabbit muttered, having not registered what Pooh just said, his back facing his house while Piglet walked up to the stuck Pooh. "What in the world has gotten into Pooh Bear?"
"Whatever it is, we'd better help him." Sora stated seriously.
"Oh, yes. And quickly, too!" Piglet exclaimed with concern.
"Oh, stuff and fluff." Pooh muttered, still trying to get himself unstuck.
Sora then walked up to Pooh and grabbed his legs, Kairi right behind him, followed by Rabbit, Eeyore, and Piglet, all ready to pull Pooh out.
"One..." Sora muttered, giving a tug.
"Two..." Kairi muttered, giving a tug.
"Three!" Sora and Kairi exclaimed, the two plus Rabbit, Eeyore, and Piglet pulling as hard as they could, pulling Pooh out of the hole, making the group fall over and sending Pooh airborne.
Pooh then landed on the ground, in a sitting position. He then stood up and assumed his thinking pose briefly as Sora, Kairi, and the others ran up to him.
"You're okay now, Pooh." Sora said to Pooh as Pooh turned towards them.
"Well, I wouldn't be so sure of that if I were you." Rabbit said to Sora before looking at Pooh. "Why just- just look at him! He doesn't even remember who I am. Perhaps it's all this blustery wind, or- Or maybe he actually needs more honey! Or he's- he's sleepwalking and- and dreaming!"
Pooh then walked up to Rabbit with a positive expression as always.
"Well, if I am dreaming, which I suppose I could be, I hope I get to the part where you invite me to lunch again very soon, Rabbit." Pooh said to Rabbit, getting everyone's attention, except Rabbit, specifically with the last thing he said.
"That's right, you're always stopping by for lunch!" Rabbit snorted before gasping as realization struck him with a smile. "Wait! Pooh! You called me "Rabbit"!"
"Well, of course, Rabbit." Pooh said to Rabbit.
"What about Eeyore?" Piglet asked while walking up to Pooh. "Do you remember Eeyore too, Pooh?"
Pooh turned to Eeyore, as if he didn't know he was there.
"Oh, hello there, Eeyore. It's ever so nice to see you today." Pooh greeted Eeyore, letting everyone know he remembered him too.
"Thanks for noticing me, Pooh Bear." Eeyore said.
Pooh then turned towards Sora and Kairi.
"And hello to you, too, Some-People-I-Don't-Know!" Pooh greeted the two, making them sigh and slump slightly in exasperation.
"Well, at least you remember Rabbit and Eeyore now." Sora said optimistically.
"It's a start." Kairi said with a kind smile.
"I think I know someone else who can help. She has quite a knack for helpin folks who are in rough shape. Not that I have anything to prove it." Eeyore recalled despondently.
"Who?" Kairi asked the donkey.
"Let's head over to Kanga and Roo's house." Eeyore suggested.
"That's right." Rabbit's eyes lit up."If anyone else can help Pooh with his memory, it's Kanga. She might have the medicine he needs."
"Well, then, I say we give it a shot." Sora said determinedly.
"It couldn't hurt. Let's do it then." Kairi said with a determined smile.
Later at Kanga's house...
And so, Sora and Kairi along with Pooh and his friends made their way to Kanga's house. While Eeyore went on ahead to tell her everything. Rabbit remained at his house to clean up all of the empty jars of honey, and try to refill them.
Emphasis on try.
Sora figured that since this book didn't have these areas before when it got damaged the first time. On account of him finding all the missing pages across the multiverse during his last adventure. He and Kairi had the heart to not leave until Pooh and his book were restored. They weren't sure how, but they knew it wouldn't be long until it was done.
Just as they made it up to the front yard of Kanga's house. They saw Kanga and little Roo in her pouch, as she hopped over to meet with Sora and Kairi.
"Hello Sora. Nice to see you again." Kanga greeted Sora.
"Hi Sora!" Roo chirped. "Who's your friend?"
"Hey Kanga. Roo." Sora greeted and introduced Kairi. "This is Kairi. My girlfriend."
"Hello." Kairi meekly greeted.
"Well it's nice to meet you Kairi. Eeyore told me Pooh wasn't himself. I thought this might be what the poor dear needs." Kanga gestured to the bottle of medicine in her hand.
"Yeah, I hope it'll make Pooh better." Roo added.
Before anyone could hear anything else. Sora heard a familiar string noise that he remembered hearing the last time.
***Boink! Boink! Boink!***
"Oh boy." Sora deadpanned.
Then suddenly came Tigger! Who bounced on top of Sora causing the young keyblader to roll and fall on the ground.
"Hello! I'm Tigger. T-I-Double-Guh-er! Ah Hoo hoo hoo HOO!" Tigger greeted in his same spastic charm.
"Tigger!" Sora beamed as he was happy to see him.
"Sora! How's my old second bestest bouncin buddy?!...Uh. Say...Is it just me? Or have you can some weight?" Tigger observed how big Sora's gotten in the last year as he looked around on top of him. "And I noticed all your color went rogue off your outfit. Though I'll admit it looks better, who knew color was expendabable?"
Kairi could help but stiff a giggle with a hand on her mouth, finding Tigger to be funny.
Tigger noticed Kairi. "Well now. Who's the dime with all the pink?" Tigger mused seeing and bouncing on his tail around Kairi. And he noticed the lucky charm necklace around her neck. "And who's that showy fella standing out on her neck?"
"Tigger. This is my girlfriend, Kairi. Kairi, this is Tigger." Sora said, introducing the two to each other.
"Hi Tigger. It's nice to meet you." Kairi said with a kind smile. "I have to say, you're really good at bouncing."
"Awe shucks. Hoo hoo! Bouncin is what us Tiggers do da bestest!" Tigger proudly declared.
"Tiggers?" Kairi asked.
"Whelp. She asked for it!" Tigger beamed.
"Here comes the song." Eeyore sighed.
And the magic Fantasia added the bouncy music.
"Woo Hoo Hoo Hoo! The wonderful thing about tiggers~ Is tiggers are wonderful things~ Their tops are made out of rubber~ Their bottoms are made out of springs~ They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy~ Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun~ But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is I'm the only one~ I'm…. the only one~" Tigger sang as he bounced on his tail around Kairi and Sora.
"Yep. That's Tigger." Sora said with a smile. "He's just as energetic as the first day I met him."
"I can imagine." Kairi giggled, having enjoyed the brief spectacle before smiling slyly at Sora. "Do, second best bouncer he knows, huh?"
"It's the only way to be friends with him. His whole philosophy is bouncing." Sora explained rubbing the back of his neck.
"Excuse me. But I believe the term is, bouncatalolgy!" Tigger declared as Kanga held out the medicine and Tigger gasped in delight. "A present for me? Why presents is what Tiggers like bestest, and it's not even by birthday!"
Tigger took the medicine thinking it was for him. But Pooh was standing right next to him, and Kanga was trying to hand it to Pooh.
"But Tigger, that's not for you!" Kanga called out as Tigger bounced away happily.
"Wait Tigger!" Roo bounced after him.
"Oh d-d-d-dear." Piglet said seeing Tigger leave with Pooh's medicine.
"We'll catch him. Come on Sora." Kairi ran after Tigger.
And as Sora, Kairi and everyone else was chasing after Tigger. Considering how fast he was bouncing around the trees. Sora and Kairi would eventually catch up.
Meanwhile, A red balloon was floating away from the owl's house. After he was going through a collection of antiques. Owl realized Balloons wouldn't be considered antiques considering that everyone uses them. And he believed that balloons weren't invented until his great Uncle Franklin discovered how to fill plastic with air.
The problem is plastic isn't rubber. And Michael Faraday invented Balloons in 1824.
But a charming, polite and seemingly wise Owl probably wouldn't know that.
So as the red Balloon floated away from Owl's house. Tigger was bouncing towards it and he gasped as he saw it up ahead.
"Hit the deck!" Tigger dived into the bushes and hid.
Sora and Kairi ran ahead of the group as they saw Tigger hiding in the bushes. They looked confused as they went over and squad down to see what was up.
"Hey Tigger, what's-" Sora almost asked.
"Shhhh... I see a challengenerator in my Facility." Tigger whispered and growled as he was ready to pounce the red Balloon.
Sora and Kairi looked back and forth.
"You mean a challenger in your vicinity." Sora inquired.
"Yep. That's what I said. A challengenerator in my Facility." Tigger nodded optimistically.
Tiggers are good at bouncing. But they innovade when it comes to their lack of certain words.
"Here we go..." Tigger muttered before he jumped out and pounced on the balloon. "Consider yourself pounced! That was a close call there- Yipe!"
The balloon slipped out of Tigger's grasp. as it was floating behind him.
"This guy... and I'm talking to you... ...he was sneaking up on me!" Tigger grumbled as he tried to swipe at it. But the Balloon was waved behind Tigger again. "Whoo! Oh! A slippery little devil, eh? Get back here!"
Tigger kept trying to catch the balloon. Even biting at the string. And then he rolled on the balloon until it disappeared. Tigger stood up and grinned as he wiped his hands.
"Well what do ya know. I scared him off." Tigger smugly stood with his arms crossed.
"Uh...Tigger?" Kairi pointed at his back. The Balloon was sticking to his back due to the static built around his fur
"Yes?" Tigger turned to smile at Kairi.
While the Balloon slides up Tigger's back and sticks to the fur on top of his head.
"Wha oh?" Tigger looked up and glared at the balloon. "Why you little... Here, take some of that!" Tigger tried to clap at the balloon like a bubble, but it waved down to his foot. "What's this-"
Tigger kept stuttering as he kept trying to catch it.
"Oh, really? Sticking to me now!" Tigger yelled as the balloon stuck to his back causing Tigger to panic and whimper. "This isn't working out the way I was hoping!"
Sora and Kairi were standing and watching the whole thing. They didn't know if they should be laughing or feeling sorry for Tigger's oblivious nature towards red balloons.
"He's sucking the bounce outta me! Make him go away!" Tigger crooked and coughed crawled on the ground acting like he was dying.
Probably because he really did think he was dying.
Kairi just giggled at this and walked over, grabbing the balloon and pulling it off of Tigger.
"There you go, Tigger, everything's fine now." Kairi giggled, holding up the balloon. "I think this little guy just wants to 'stick' with you."
"Really? Geez, you've been spending way too much time with Aiden." Sora joked while smirking at his girlfriend.
"Eh? Stick with a- say wha?" Tigger's eyes lit up as he stood up and looked up at the balloon Kairi was holding. Before he meekly chuckled bashfully. "Why. I...I never thought of having a sidekick before."
Then Tigger observed his reflection on the balloon thinking it was the balloon's face. While Kairi was just standing there grinning amusingly with an eyebrow raised and her hand on her hip.
"I gotta admit, he is a handsome lookin devil. Look at the chin on this kid." Tigger complemented the looks of his reflection. Before he turned looking conflicted and spoke dramatically. "No, no. I can't do it, I tell you. It's too risky for someone else to be a Tigger. Why, if something were to happen to this little guy, I just couldn't live with myself. It's a dangerous path I bounce. But I bounce it, alone."
"Uh..." Sora looked weirded out as he tried to find the words.
"For the Hundred Acre Woods needs a hero! And I'm the only one." Tigger declared remarkably before he took a swig of the medicine bottle. Sipping some before he spat it out. "Plah! Tiggers don't like...Uh. What is this mulch anyhow?" He inquired about the bottle.
Just then Pooh, Piglet. Kanga and Roo finally caught up with Tigger.
"Oh...Thank g-g-g-goodness." Piglet panted as he was outta breath trying to catch up with Sora and Kairi.
Pooh was the only one walking casually. But he came up just a few seconds later from way behind them. While humming.
"You guys sure are fast." Roo complemented.
"Tigger. Please listen, Dear. It's about Pooh. He lost his memory and-." Kanga tried to explain
"Hehe. He called me 'dear'." Tigger chuckled meekly then gasped. "Whaaaa?! You're saying Pooh Bear has forgotten about everyone?! Including me?!"
"I'm afraid so, Tigger." Sora said to Tigger.
"That bottle you thought was a present was medicine to make Pooh better." Kairi explained.
"Aw, who needs medicine!?" Tigger said with a wave of his paw. "Why, some tiggeriffic bouncing will jog his memory for sure!"
Tigger then started bouncing around on his tail while everyone watched. After a minute of good bouncing, Tigger stopped in front of the group.
"Well, Pooh?" Tigger asked Pooh.
"That sounds like fun, Somebody-I-Don't-Know." Pooh said, indicating he still couldn't remember.
"Nothing, huh? Hmm..." Tigger said, scratching his chin in thought before an idea came to him. "Of course! We all gotta bounce together! That'll do the trick!"
"Quick. To the Bouncing Spot!" Roo pointed in another direction to the woods.
"Right you are my bestest bouncin buddy! Ah Hoo hoo hoo HOO!" Tigger laughed as he bounces with Roo towards where the Bouncin Spot goes.
"You think it'll work?" Kairi asked Sora as they walked and followed Tigger towards his bouncin spot
"Probably. I mean, I noticed how Pooh tends to remember some of his friends from some of the random things they do. If getting Piglet out of a tree helped Pooh remember Piglet. And if eating a month's worth of honey helped Pooh remember Rabbit and Eeyore. Maybe all of us bouncing will help Pooh remember Tigger." Sora figured and concluded.
"I guess him making new connections with his friends is helping to restore the ones he forgot." Kairi said before smiling at her boyfriend. "Looks like you and Pooh have something in common. Your friends are your power."
Sora smiled at this as he couldn't find the right words to add at first. Before he looked at her. "And so are you." Sora said softly to Kairi.
"Awe, Sora." Kairi blushed and smiled before giving him a quick peck on the lips. "And you are mine."
Then she held Sora's hand and leaned her head on his shoulder. Pooh noticed their kiss and was curious since he was walking next to them.
"Excuse me, but why did your lips touch his?" Pooh asked innocently."Was there honey in his mouth?"
The two blushed a dark shade of red, somewhat unsure of how to respond.
"No, there was no honey in his mouth." Kairi stuttered out.
"It's just... Something couples do." Sora stuttered, trying to be careful with his words.
"I see. A couples of what?" Pooh tilted his head curiously.
The two were at a loss with what to say now.
"He's even more innocent than Olaf." Sora muttered quietly to Kairi.
"I didn't even think that was possible." Kairi muttered quietly back to Sora.
"Oh I think everything is 'possible'. Though...People say 'nothing' is impossible. But I do nothing every day." Pooh said as he walked.
He heard only the part where Sora said 'possible'.
The two stared at Pooh for a moment before Kairi broke into a fit of giggles.
"The Lazy Bum and the Silly Old Bear. The both of you make quite a pair." Kairi joked.
"Did you do that rhyme on purpose?" Sora asked with an amused smirk.
"Maybe" Kairi said with a wink of her eye.
"Here we are!" Tigger gestured to an open area straight ahead while bouncing on his tail.
Sora and Kairi looked ahead to see a giant blue trampoline covering the entire open area. Along with pillows around the edges to prevent accidents. All of those tree stumps and obstacles around a giant empty honey pot were gone. It looks simple, but more effective for a bouncer like Tigger.
"As you can see, I have done some renewavanations since the last time Sora was here. I figured why bounce in one small area. When we can go bouncin in a BIGGER ONE!" Tigger declared.
"I added the pillows!" Roo beamed as he was bouncing next to Tigger on his tail.
"Wow. This looks amazing." Kairi said, looking around.
"Yeah, Tigger, you and Roo did a great job with this" Sora complimented the two.
"If ya think so. Then come along and bounce with me!" Tigger beamed as he and Roo jumped onto the trampoline and started bouncing.
"Yeah! Come on Sora! You too Kairi. We gotta bounce real high for Pooh to remember!" Roo yelled cheerfully as he was bouncing up and down on the trampoline.
"Well, you heard em, Kairi, we better get to bouncing!" Sora said, taking Kairi's hand, leading them on to the trampoline.
"Right behind you, Sora!" Kairi said just as excited as they made their way on to the trampoline.
Then they all started laughing and bouncing high on the trampoline together. While Pooh found a pot of honey and was eating some while he sat and watched Tigger, Roo, Sora and Kairi bouncing high up in the air together.
"Weeeee!" Roo joyfully yelled as he bounced high.
"Yahooo!" Sora cheered as he bounced higher.
Then Kairi used her freeflow to take a big bouch. "Kawabonkaaaaaaa!" Kairi bounced high, about twenty feet higher in the air.
Making Sora's jaw drop.
"Now that's the spirit, Kairi! You're a natural!" Tigger yelled out in the sky and muttered to Sora. "No offense Sora. Keep workin on those strings."
Then Kairi landed back on the trampoline. And beamed as she posed. "How did I do?" She chirped.
"Naturally terriferic!" Tigger cheered. Then added as he gestured himself. "But now it's time for a finale by 'yours truthfully'. I shall close this bounce mission with the biggest one of Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Ooper Bounce!"
"The Whopping what?" Sora inquired, not having been able to keep up with Tigger's sentence.
"Sounds really awesome. Can't wait to see it." Kairi said enthusiastically.
"Oh nothing really, just the biggest bounce for the bestest bouncers of all. Roo should know. He's the second person to ever do it." Tigger declared modestly while complementing Roo.
"The first rule of the Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper
Alley-Ooper Bounce is. You can't bounce the bounce If you can't even pronounce the bounce." Roo declared confidently.
"Right you are buddy. So. Repeat, after Tigger." Tigger smirked as he stood in the middle of the trampoline.
And the magic and energy of Fantasia started working on Tigger's bounce as he began to teach Sora and Kairi.
"THE… Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Ooper Bounce~ The Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Ooper Bounce~ It's got the zip that make you flip~ And that's what really counts~ In the Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Ooper Bounce~" Tigger sang as he danced around them to the rhythm of the music and the words.
Then Tigger led them over to a chart board over by a tree. Full of drawings, illustrations and calculations that they could tell was ridden by him.
"Now, half this bounce is ninety percent mental." Tigger declared as he pointed at the chart. "If ya calculate the specific Tiggerjectory of year. Stripecelleration Diviferous by the Square Boot of yer. Rebounce, yer Vertical Situituation Indicator and yer Striperconic Springertia should Rica-tic-chet yer Hydraulific Fu-silly-age into an Accelerometric De-orbit!"
As Tigger was saying all of this. Kairi was nodding slowly trying to understand though she was kinda lost. While Sora was trying to take notes on his gummi phone. But it racked his brain.
Sadly Sora accidentally called Aiden who listened to the whole thing on his phone. Or rather he only heard about the calculations. But not about the bounce or the name of it.
***"IT JUST DON'T ADD UP!"*** Aiden exclaimed in the phone.
Sora made sure to hang up quickly before Tigger could hear more. Since he didn't hear that part.
"Any Questions?" Tigger asked Sora and Kairi.
"So when do we get to do the Whoop-de-Whooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Pooper Bounce?" Sora tried to say, but got one of the words wrong.
"I think it's The Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Oopser Bounce." Kairi said, also getting it wrong.
Then Tigger stood next to them and gestured them to repeat his actions. He resumed the song as they did jumping jacks.
"The Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Ooper Bounce~ The Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Ooper Bounce~ The more you try, the more you fly And that's what really counts~ In the Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper Alley-Ooper Bounce~" Tigger sang as he even gave them both pogo sticks for the second half of those words he sang.
Tigger and Roo then demonstrated by twisting their tails and their torso's while aiming at the right place.
"Now you swing your legs up high And you twist your tail in tight! Wind up all yer springs and
And with your eyes fixated straight ahead... You let it all loose." Tigger stated while they both demonstrated.
Sora and Kairi looked at each other.
"Well we're definitely not made of fluff or strings." Sora muttered as he pondered.
"Maybe we can do it in freeflow?" Kairi suggested.
"Worth a shot." Sora shrugged.
Then with their freeflow abilities. They copy Tigger by letting the lights bend around them to shape an image of a Tigger's tail and twisted circles formed around their torsos. And then...
***Bounce!***
They both ended up flying into some pillows nailed to a tree. Which cushioned their impact, but they didn't do it right as they fell on some more pillows looking dizzy.
"How did we do?" Sora asked woozy like.
"Sorry Sora. But it's best when done by Tiggers~ 'Cause our tiggerific figures~ Are filled with vims and vigors~ And that's the thing that triggers~" Tigger declared while singing.
"Or to those who have what counts~ To being a Tigger's buddy that can really bounce~" Roo added.
"Cause to takes the speed and will of a strong friend to make it pounce!" Tigger added.
Then the song resumed as Tigger resumed dancing and bouncing.
"The Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper~ Alley-Ooper Bounce The Whoop-de-Dooper Loop-de-Looper~ Alley-Ooper Bounce~" Tigger sang.
"The more you try, the more you fly~ And that's what really counts!~" Roo sang while bouncing with Tigger.
"Right, it activates and elevates~ Accelerates and more~ You're bouncing off the ceiling
like you never did before!~" Tigger declared in the song as he stood in the middle.
"The Whoop-de-Dooper!~" Tigger Roo sang together.
"Whoop-de-Dooper!~" Sora and Kairi repeated together.
"Loop-de-Looper!~" Tigger and Roo Sang.
"Loop-de-Looper!~" Sora and Kairi repeated.
"Alley-Ooper...Bouuuuuunce!~" They all sang.
Then Tigger performed it as he took off. And spun over some tree branches. Looping over a record player before flinging up and shooting through a basketball hoop. And then before Sora and Kairi knew it. Tigger was bouncing all over the place. Faster than they're eyes could keep up.
And then Tigger landed in front of Pooh who finished the jar. Thus concluding the bounce fest. And the song.
"Ta da!" Tigger declared.
Sora and Kairi's eyes were wide and their jaws dropped.
"Wow..." Sora gawked.
"Just wow." Kairi added. "Now I know why he's the only Tigger."
Back at Kanga and Roo's Home
"Hoo Hoo! I bet you remember me now, don't you, buddy-bear!" Tigger exclaimed while standing in front of the group, and Kanga.
"Well, I remember that bouncing always makes me hungry." Pooh said, indicating he still didn't remember, making Tigger's jaw drop in a silent gasp before he slumped over sad.
"All that bouncin' and he still doesn't remember me?" Tigger said with a cracked voice before turning his back on the group. "Well, then, I guess bouncin's not the answer. It makes a Tigger almost never wanna bounce again..."
Tigger looked down at the bottle of medicine in his paw with a slight sob before tossing it over his shoulder, making it land in front of Pooh and Piglet.
"Oh, please be careful with that." Piglet stuttered out.
"Aw, sorry little Piglet..." Tigger apologized, his back still facing the group, his voice still cracking. "But Pooh not rememberin' me has me confusled. I don't even feel like bouncin'!"
"Oh, but Tigger. I always thought that bouncing was what Tiggers did best." Pooh said, making Tigger turn back around and gasp in joy.
"Pooh Boy! You remember me!" Tigger cheered. You do remember your ol' buddy Tigger after all! Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoo!"
Tigger laughed and started bouncing around happily. Roo joined in while Sora and Kairi watched with smiles on their faces. Another friend remembered.
"Well. I guess that's everyone, right?" Kairi said, looking at Sora.
"Almost. Owl and Gopher probably won't mind doing reintroductions, since one is a scholar who takes pride in his work and the other is a business type who's not in the book." Sora shrugged and sighed. "We'll still need to find a way to reconnect with Pooh ourselves."
Before Kairi could answer. They're ear pieces turned on.
***"Spike. Rose Bud, can you hear me?"*** Aiden spoke from their earpieces.
"Loud and clear, Aiden?" Sora said.
"What's up?" Kairi asked, wondering why Aiden was contacting them.
***"I'm gonna have to pull you out. The book is going through a shift."*** Aiden stated as Sora and Kairi felt a light form around them.
"Wait wha-" Sora couldn't finish.
As Sora and Kairi faded into light. Before anyone could notice. Tigger was finished cheering as he chuckled and looked around.
"Say. We're did Sora go?" Tigger asked and wondered as he chuckled. "Maybe they got worn out from all the Bouncing."
"Or maybe they grew bored." Eeyore sighed. "I know the feelin."
But that's not the case. Sora and Kairi are okay. They just needed to be pulled back into the ship above the book.
Back in the Highwind II Tech room...
Sora and Kairi reappear back into the tech room as Aiden was seated on his desk chair eating a cup of lemon lime ice cream with a spoon.
"You two have been doing some damn find poetry in thar book." Aiden smirked after another scoop.
"Poetry?" Kairi asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Um, what is that supposed to mean?" Sora asked, confused.
"Spike. I didn't lose contact with you after you too a walk through the woods. All the stuff you've been doing with Pooh and the other cast members of Fraggle Rock. It's all been written in the book." Aiden gestured to Pooh's book which was opened to the previous pages. "Here, take a look."
Sora and Kairi looked and their eyes widened as they looked at the book. Not only were their interactions with Pooh and friends written down in the book, but there were pictures of them drawn into it.
"Woah. Everything I've done with them has been put in the book." Sora said, looking over the pages.
"And I'm a part of the book now." Kairi said in awe.
"Basically you're both now A.A. Milne's boy. Granted all the Earths of the Multiverse will still see Christopher Robin in their books. But you'll be seen in this book." Aiden stated with a smile.
"Eh. There's always the catch." Sora shrugged.
"Oh that's not the catch." Aiden warned as he closed the book and showed Sora and Kairi the cover.
The book cover was now blank! The image of Sora walking with Pooh, Piglet and Tigger is now gone!
"Hey. The cover image is gone!" Sora exclaimed.
"What happened to it?" Kairi asked out of concern.
"When the book got damaged by the Heartless, it should've erased your history with Pooh. But only his memory got damaged. The cover represents his memory." Aiden explained.
"So what? Are you saying Kairi and I were completely erased from his memories?" Sora asked, concerned for his in book friend.
"Pooh's memories. But not the others. But that's we're the update comes in. Pooh is remembering everyone else. And everyone else remembers you. So if Pooh now remembers everyone else, soon..." Aiden explained slowly.
"He'll remember me and Sora through all of his friends." Kairi's eyes lit up as she realized.
"Ding ding." Aiden quipped.
Sora and Kairi looked hopeful hearing that.
"So now all that's left is when and how he'll remember us." Kairi said.
"Well. Right now the book currently for some reason is shifting towards nightfall. Well...Not our night fall I mean the story currently is taking place at night fall." Aiden explained the best way he could.
"Huh?" Sora tilted his head.
"Yeah take a look." Aiden turned the book to another page that was still slowly forming an image of Pooh sleeping. Having a dream and wondering into a cave.
"See? 'Pooh has a dream of a special friend he remembers and the promise he made to him. But doesn't know his name or his face. To find this friend, Pooh wondered everywhere until he went into the misty caves of a ferocious heffalump'." Aiden read and then he realized. "Oh crap."
"What? What's a heffalump?" Sora asked.
"It's a creature derived from an elephant, supposed to be a nasty mean-spirited creature who steals honey and everyone's happiness." Aiden stated. "Sounds like heffal-bull to me since most of the books I've read never proved them to be real."
"Are they though?" Kairi asked feeling concerned for Pooh.
"Only one way to find out." Aiden declared as he sat back down and began typing a few things in, before he got back up opened the book.
"You're about to be sent back in. Hours later after that bounce rave you spent with Tigger." Aiden stated. "Once you're inside the cave. You'll have only an hour to find Pooh before he falls asleep and forgets again. He needs to stay awake to remember you. Once he does. No one will make him forget again."
"We'll take care of it." Sora said confidently.
"Right. We got this." Kairi agreed.
"Alright. Don't forget to bring a flashlight. The woods can be pretty." Aiden nodded and held the book in front of Sora and Kairi. And they were both taken inside the book. In a flash of light.
Inside the misty cave...
Sora and Kairi returned to the Hundred Acre Woods and found the entrance to the cave Aiden was talking about. Determined to find Pooh and save him and restore his memories, they both entered the cave and found that all of Pooh's friends were there as well. Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, Gopher, Kanga, and Roo all standing around the opening of the cave.
"Hey, everyone..." Sora greeted the group, getting them to turn towards him and Kairi.
"Where's Pooh?" Kairi asked, looking around.
"H-he went in there." Piglet said, pointing further inside the cave.
"Do you think there might be a Heffalump hiding inside?" Rabbit asked, concerned.
"Heffalump... Well, now." Owl said in thought. "That reminds me of when dear cousin Alphonse-"
"Say, why are you all sitting around here?" Gopher asked, interrupting Owl. "If you're worried about that bear, let's go find him!"
"That's exactly what I was thinking!" Tigger exclaimed.
"Yeah, let's go!" Roo exclaimed as well.
"But if there is a Heffalump, we'd better think this through." Rabbit suggested.
"It seems we've got a bit of time. Why don't I just resume where I left off?" Owl said to everyone before continuing with his story. "My cousin- that is, my father's younger sister's-"
"What do you think we should do, Sora, Kairi?" Kanga asked, politely interrupting Owl's story.
Kairi was the first to answer.
"We'll take the lead. Our friend is down there. We'll get him out." Kairi declared confidently.
"Like an expotition?" Piglet asked with a hopeful smile forming.
"Expo..." Kairi wondered what that means.
"Exactly Piglet." Sora confirmed before he whispered the to Kairi. "He means Expedition. You know, an adventure."
"Oh, got it" Kairi nodded before turning to the others. "Yeah. It's an expedition."
"That's what we said. An expotition it is! A-hoo hoo HOO!" Tigger cheered.
"Well then. March!" Sora grinned as he signaled everyone to follow him
And so everyone lined up behind Sora and Kairi as they took the lead into the dark, damp cave. A place full of slippery marble services and grounds. Dripping echoes and mists that could all be a combination of making some of the most innocent creatures in the Multiverse have wild scary imaginations. Not in a Sam Raimi way. More like a child staring into his bedroom after dark, thinking that his toys have become monsters.
Piglet shivered a bit as he was looking around. Whenever Pooh was around, he always felt 'braver than he believes'. Because whenever he was alone and no one was home. It's nice to be able to count on a friend like Pooh Bear.
Tigger was the only one who seemed confident enough to bounce against any danger. And stand tall and proud for being who he is. Because when he knew that Pooh always knew that Tigger was 'stronger than he seems'. And it gave Tigger the pride and will to persevere.
Rabbit who was always the cynical, strict but determined and creative garden worker. Who always was there for Pooh and everyone when they needed him. Rabbit always had a heart to use his logic for not just what was convenient for him. But also for his friends. And his logic rarely failed because he knew Pooh always felt that Rabbit was 'smarter than he thinks'. Which is more than what many could say about anyone else.
Owl would be the second smartest in the woods. Even if he has trouble reading certain letters. But he always was the one who had stories for everyone to hear. Whether it was interesting or boring. It was always a pleasant afternoon whenever Pooh or his friends would stop by Owl's place. Especially if he talks incessantly about the many relatives no one ever meets.
Kanga and Roo are the two definitions of what makes the Hundred Acre Woods bright. The caring maternal good natured advocate who always was encouraging and patient for all who needed it. And Roo who is the youngest of the entire woods and the most optimistic of them all. Even if Roo is a child who always saw Tigger as a role model, he always was someone who saw Pooh as the heart of the woods and a perfect friend.
Eeyore is a donkey without a positive personality or anything that breathes 'positive'. In fact if Steven Wright had a pet, Eeyore would fit the profile. But in a strange way he always fits in being the only one in the Hundred Acre Woods who never smiles. Not because he's always unhappy. But he because he has no reason to. Winnie The Pooh is the one who has all the smiles Eeyore could ever need. And for him. He couldn't ask for more.
As for Gopher….Well he's not in the book. But never mind that he was always around.
All of these friends, though they have a connection with Pooh within their hearts. They have always had one boy in the center of the group that made Pooh who he is. And now, Sora and Kairi have taken that role upon themselves, to lead all of these friends back to Pooh and to bring back the glory days of the Hundred Acre Woods.
Once they all made it to the end of the tunnel. They saw that little yellow bear, sitting on a rock, pondering what to do. Which made everyone relieved to see him.
"Pooh! There you are!" Sora exclaimed happily as he, Kairi, and the others made their way to him while Pooh sat on top of the rocks thinking.
"Thank goodness you're ok. We've been looking everywhere for you" Kairi said to Pooh.
"I was looking for a couple of very dear friends that I made a very important promise to." Pooh explained.
The promise was actually made to Sora. But because he and Kairi are now 'one' in the book and in real life. But for the book's case. The young keyblader couple are now Christopher Robin. And Sora understood this.
"So, did you find them?" Sora asked with a hopeful smile.
"No. I looked and I looked. But they don't seem to be anywhere." Pooh said to them looking hopeless.
Sora and Kairi shared a look, just as Tigger bounced and tackled Pooh, sending them both to the ground.
"Oh, Pooh Boy! So there you are!" Tigger exclaimed as Pooh stood up from the ground.
"But, Tigger, did you have to bounce me so... Bounce-ily?" Pooh asked, rubbing his head.
"Gosh, I thought a Heffalump had gotten ya!" Tigger exclaimed as Sora and Kairi walked up to them.
"Oh dear. I hadn't thought of that." Pooh said to the group. "I do hope a Heffalump hasn't gone and gobbled up my friends!"
"Now try to remember, Pooh." Kanga said to Pooh. "Aren't Sora and Kairi the ones you're looking for?"
Sora and Kairi shared another look, hoping Pooh will remember soon. Then, a loud rumbling was heard from Pooh's tummy, surprising the bear. Because from his perspective, it sounded more like a growl.
"Oh! The Heffalump!" Pooh gasped, thinking the sound came from a Heffalump, making Sora and Kairi giggle a bit in humor.
"No, it's just your tummy rumbling, you silly old bear." Kairi giggled, leaning down to Pooh, along with Sora. As she poked the bear's belly playfully.
"You must be hungry. C'mon. Let's head home and see if we can find you some honey." Sora suggested to Pooh.
"I'd like that. Sora, Kairi." Pooh said, making the couple gasp.
"Pooh! You- you finally remembered!" Sora gasped happily.
"Remembered what, Sora?" Pooh asked, making Sora and Kairi falter a bit.
"Pooh..." Sora and Kairi said softly as Pooh walked up to them.
"I like it ever so much when you're cheerful, Sora. And I like it when you smile, Kairi." Pooh said, making the two smile and share a quick glance.
"Me too, Pooh." Sora said with a cheerful smile.
"Yeah, same here, Pooh." Kairi said with a warm smile.
"Oh... There's a bit of a rumbly in my tumbly." Pooh said, rubbing his tummy.
"All right. Then let's go home." Sora said to the bear.
"We'll take care of you." Kairi said as she and Sora both took Pooh's hands in theirs.
Suddenly as everyone was happy that Pooh remembered everyone now, they heard the loud sounds of tumbling rocks falling and collapsing from the exit. Which made everyone halt wondering what that was.
*LOUD SHAKE!*
"Oh d-d-d-dear...What was that?" Piglet shivered in fear.
"I don't know." Tigger gulped.
"Uh fellas?! The way back is blocked! It must've collapsed!" Gopher echoed from the entrance of the tunnel.
"Oh no! This is terrible! HOW ARE WE GONNA GET OUT?!" Rabbit panicked looking spooked in the eye about being trapped in the cave.
Then suddenly they heard some drilling noises from behind the wall were Pooh was just sitting.
*LOUDER SHAKE!*
"Goodness!" Kanga was alarmed as she held Roo in her arms.
"Everyone stay behind me." Sora warned as he and Kairi stood protectively in front of Pooh and his friends while they summoned their keyblades. Facing where the noise was coming from.
Suddenly…
*BURST!*
A hole in the wall burst open as the nail of a large neon drill was seen. Then Maverick poked his head out of the wall and looked around, before pulling a map out.
"I knew I should've taken that left turn in Albuquerque." Maverick quipped reading the map.
"Aiden!" Both Sora and Kairi exclaimed happily, seeing their friend showing up to save the day.
"You really have great timing, Bud." Sora said smiling.
"Yeah. But what are you doing here?" Kairi asked Maverick curiously.
"What does it look like?" Maverick inquired as he crawled out of the hole and shifted back into Aiden. "The next page said everyone got trapped in the cave, and starved after eating the Farm Bunny and the Pork Chop."
"Wh-what?" Rabbit gulped.
"Yipe!" Piglet shivered.
"Kidding, I just added those last two parts." Aiden winked before looking at Sora. "Also I made an exit and came here to tell you. The book is fixed. It's even got a new cover art, Spike."
"Really?" Sora asked.
"Are we both on the cover?" Kairi asked with excitement.
"What would a book about a cute innocent honey junky be without Christopher Robin?" Aiden whispered to them. "That's you two."
Sora and Kairi smiled in realization about how important they are to Pooh and his book. They're apart of his inspiration now. Even if the rest of the Multiverse will see Christopher Robin. It will be Sora and Kairi who will be apart of the first book.
The book they're standing in.
"Oh. Hello there 'Somebody-I-Don't-Know'." Pooh waved at Aiden.
"I blame myself for not being in Corona at the time." Aiden deadpanned about the time when Pooh came out of his book and met Olaf and the rest of the family during the whole Deathbird affair.
"Pooh, this is Aiden." Sora introduced Pooh to Aiden.
"He's a very good friend of ours." Kairi chirped.
"Eh...I don't know about good. I mean I'm somewhere above or below the meter. It depends on what day or mood I'm in." Aiden emphasized humorously as he bent down to Pooh's height.
"Oh. Were you the one Olaf and Elsa mentioned?" Pooh asked as he recalled.
"Dang. This book really is fixed." Aiden muttered and nodded with a smile. "I hope they didn't say too much about me, did they?"
"Ummm...I'm not sure. Maybe I was having honey at the time." Pooh wondered. Then his stomach growled again.
"Yep, he's hungry again." Sora said with a smirk.
"Silly Old Bear." Kairi called Pooh that again.
Aiden snickered a bit when Kairi said that.
"What?" Kairi asked with a small smile.
" 'Silly Old Bear'. That's what Milne's boy called him." Aiden winked at Kairi, as he referred to Christopher Robin.
"Say. I thought I was the one who blows holes through tunnels." Gopher came back over and noticed the big hole leading outside.
"Let's go before we all collect dust." Aiden insisted to the hole. "You're jumping first Stripes."
"Tigger's don't jump. we bounce!" Tigger beamed as he bounced through the hole. "Ah-Hoo hooo hoo HOOO!"
*Thud!*
***"Waaak!"*** Donald screamed outside from the hole, as he was pounced by Tigger.
***"Say. Hi ya new guy! I'm Tigger!"*** Tigger echoed from the otherside.
***"WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?!"*** Donald exclaimed.
"Yeah...The team asked if they could come too. I'm not satanic enough to say no to Groot." Aiden told Sora while he bit his bottom lip nervously.
"it's fine, the more, the merrier. Right, Kairi?" Sora said, looking to Kairi.
"Yep." Kairi agreed.
"Things are starting to look up in the Hundred Acre Woods. Too bad I'm not tall enough to see it." Eeyore sighed.
And so Pooh and his friends. Along with Aiden, Sora and Kairi crawled through the large hole leading outside the cave to see the beautiful night sky. And a beautiful neon path leading back to everyone's homes.
Donald, Goofy and Baby Groot were there. Waving at everybody as Sora and Kairi brought Pooh and the others along to meet them.
And as Sora was chatting and making introductions. Up in the trees, standing on a branch. Aiden was strumming the strings of an ice guitar while Victoria was sitting next to him. Smiling. The tune was soft as the melody of Fantasia began its magic.
"Christopher Robin and I walked along~ Under branches lit up by the moon~ Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore~ As our days disappeared all too soon~ But I've wandered much further today than I should~ And I can't seem to find my way back to the wood~" Aiden sang beautifully as Pooh walked with Sora and Kairi walking in between him holding his hands. And everyone were skipping and walking and bouncing behind him.
"So help me if you can, I've got to get~ Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one~ You'd be surprised, there's so much to be done~ Count all the bees in the hive~ Chase all the clouds from the sky~ Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh~" Aiden sang as he strummed the guitar and Victoria was relaxing on the branch, enjoying the singing.
Then everyone crossed the bridge and decided to hang together under the starry sky at the starry hill. Up on the hill. Kanga and Rabbit set up a large checkered picnic blanket together. And everyone sets up the picnic. With peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, tea, acorns and carrots. And of course jars of honey. Everyone sat together enjoying themselves. And each other's company.
While Pooh had a jar of honey stuck on his face. Kairi rolled her eyes and giggled as she was helping to pull the jar off.
Aiden and Victoria were sitting at the edge of the hill with the picnic behind them as he continued to play the guitar.
"Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do~ Got a honey jar stuck on his nose~" Victoria sang beautifully as she smiled at her boyfriend.
"He came to me asking help and advice~ And from here no one knows where he goes~" Aiden and Victoria sang together as Kairi was still struggling to get the jar out of his face.
Then Owl came over and gestured how to get the jar out while telling Kairi how. Who nodded and understood.
"So I sent him to ask of the owl if he's there~ How to loosen the jar from the nose of a bear~" Aiden and Victoria sang.
Then Kairi managed to free Pooh's face out of the jar who smiled back at Kairi who laughed at the honey covered all over his face, which the bear licked.
"So help me if you can, I've got to get~ Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one~ You'd be surprised, there's so much to be done~ Count all the bees in the hive~ Chase all the clouds from the sky~ (Chase the clouds away~) Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh~" Aiden and Victoria sang together with the Fantasia adding a chorus for some soft strings added to his guitar.
Then as the day continued. The music of the song kept playing. Up to the point where Pooh got on the swing with Sora pushing him on it. Then Kairi eventually got on the swing with Pooh in her laps. As she held him tight and Pooh held onto her. They even played games like bouncing with Tigger and Roo. And even listening to Owl's story about his cousin Alphonse. That is his father's sister's stepson's brother. And everyone was trying hard not to fall asleep. But some failed.
But still, it was a great day. And for the Hundred Acre Woods. 'It's always a sunny day when Sora and Kairi comes to play'.
Aiden continued to play the guitar while leaning on the tree of the Starry Hill. Continuing the song.
"It's hard to explain how a few precious things~ Seem to follow throughout all our lives~
After all's said and done I was watching that boy~ Sitting there with that bear by his side
So I was watching them, admirin. As the night's goin~ It's like that old bear whispered 'Boy, welcome hoooooooooome!'~" Aiden sang a perfect bridge.
Then all of Pooh's friends and Sora's friends sat under the Starry Hill Tree to look up at the stars. While Pooh sat on the log with Sora and Kairi sitting in between. And everyone else sitting around them.
"Sora? Kairi? I was thinking. Perhaps there's a way to make it so you won't go away." Pooh said to Sora and Kairi.
"You mean a way to make us stay?" Kairi asked sweetly.
"Yes. Would there be such a thing as a way to make it so you don't go away again?" Pooh asked the two of them.
"Pooh..." Sora said sadly while Kairi shared a look with him before they looked up at the moon. "Don't worry. I promise I'll come back and visit you now and then."
"I promise too, Pooh. We'll come see you whenever we can." Kairi said with a smile, looking down at Pooh.
"Um...Could you, possibly. Make it 'now and now' instead?" Pooh asked while looking up at Kairi and Sora hopefully. "That seems better to me."
"Awe...Pooh Bear." Kairi cooed as she gushed and brought Pooh onto her lap and hugged the little bear, thinking Pooh was absolutely adorable.
And Pooh leaned into her hug.
"You're squashing me." Pooh said softly.
"Hehe. Sorry." Kairi giggled slightly as she finished the hug and smiled warmly at Pooh.
"Sora? Kairi? If I go looking for you. Will I find you? Both of you?" Pooh asked as he was worried that it would take long before he saw them again. If not ever again.
"We'll always be with you." Sora said, tapping his finger over Pooh's heart. "Right here."
"You have to go anywhere, Pooh." Kairi said to Pooh. "Just stay here, and you can see us anytime you want."
"You mean I just have to stay here?" Pooh asked the two.
"Yep, that's all." Sora said.
"That's all you need to do." Kairi said.
"Would you promise?" Pooh asked.
"Promise." Sora said.
"Me too, Pooh." Kairi said.
"I promise too!" Piglet said as he hopped on to the log, Pooh's other friends, getting closer.
"And so do Roo and I." Kanga said.
"We sure do!" Roo exclaimed.
"You're welcome to visit us anytime, Sora and Kairi." Rabbit said to the two.
"Thanks." Sora smiled at them.
"We appreciate it." Kairi beamed.
"After all, I must tell you of my Uncle Albert's adventures at sea." Owl stated.
"Guess you'll be stayin' a while." Eeyore said in his usual tone earning chuckles from the two.
"Good-bye, Sora and Kairi." Gopher said to them.
"Thanks, Gopher." Sora said with Kairi nodding.
"If you two ever get lonely, just start bouncin' and think of your pal Tigger!" Tigger exclaimed.
"We will, Tigger!" Kairi giggled.
"Definitely!" Sora said as he and Kairi stood up from the log, Kairi setting Pooh back down on to it.
"You're leaving?" Pooh asked them.
"Yes. We really have to go." Sora said to Pooh.
"Sorry Pooh." Kairi said, feeling a little bad about leaving.
"It's okay. I won't be sad, because you both will always be right here forever and ever." Pooh said, pointing at his heart, making Kairi cooe at how cute he was as she pulled him into another hug.
"Forever and ever, silly old bear." Kairi said softly before ending the hug before Sora hugged Pooh as well.
"You'll be in our hearts too, Pooh". Sora said before ending the hug and facing the other living stuffed animals. "All of you will be right here, too."
This earned a happy nod from Pooh.
"Seeya!" Sora said goodbye.
"We'll bring more honey when we get back!" Kairi said with a wave as she and Sora took each other's hands and started walking off.
They turned around one more time to wave at them. And they waved back at the couple. Sora and Kairi resumed walking away having finished what they set out to do. To help Pooh remember them, and now they can look forward to making new memories with Pooh and friends in the future.
And as Donald. and Goofy were walking with Sora. Along with Baby Groot bouncing up on Kairi's shoulder who made the girl giggle and scratch his chin. Aiden and Victoria were floating on a neon cloud high above the sky. As they admired the view of Winnie the Pooh and his friends waving at their friends from outside.
And Sora's heart felt bigger because of this Bear and his innocence. And here they shall find him again.
For in the presence of Sora and Kairi. The child and the bear will always be together. In this remarkable place, called the Hundred Acre Woods.
"Believe me if you can, I've finally come~ Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one~ What do you know, there's so much to be done~
Count all the bees in the hive!~" Aiden sang loud and beautiful to the closing of the song as he played the ice guitar. "Chase all the clouds from the sky!~ (Chase the clouds away~) Back to the days of Christopher Robin!~ (Back to the days~) Back to the ways of Christopher Robin!~ (Back to the ways!~) Back to the ways of Pooh~ Poooooh~ Poooooooooooh~" Aiden and Victoria harmonized with the streams and chorus at the end as he strummed the last notes.
And then the book cover was shown on the moon. Of Pooh sitting and watching the stars. With Sora and Kairi.
Wherever the Guardians of the Multiverse goes. And whatever happens to Sora and Kairi along the way. In that enchanted place of the woods, inside of a book.
Is where a little bear will always be waiting for them.
***THAT'S ALL FOR NOW FOLKS!*** 🎉🎉🎉
As you can tell. Winnie The Pooh is such a strong ancient piece of my childhood. Something I can never let go. So I went with everything I could think of.
Also if you all noticed the Final Fantasy references I did at the beginning when Sora and Kairi were talking about there friends back at Destiny Islands. Well I sort of called for it. Plus that change I did with the Gullwings just made more sense to me instead of turning them into fairies with no background info.
Also I had to change a few details with those mini games segments as you noticed. Because one or two of them wouldn't have made sense. For example, even though it was fun. Why would Sora be sliding down a hill and mountains just to bring in another jar of honey. When suddenly more jars appeared out of nowhere in the end? Where did they come from?! Plus I had to find a reason to bring in certain songs. Like bringing the Little Black Raincloud song in. Because that was a special piece of my childhood there. It use to play over my crib as a baby.
"Awe." Kairi gushed ️
Anyway. Thank you all so much for reading! Don't forget to leave comments, let me know your thoughts. Fave and Follow if you like what you see.
