Prince Sidon and Paya were standing at the beginning of the Great Zora Bridge, facing Zora's Domain. Paya's eyes were wide, and her mouth hung slightly open. "I don't know what to say, Sidon. It's the most gorgeous scenery I've ever had the privilege of viewing." He could see the tears in her eyes as she took in the sight of the majestic bridge that was bluer than she had ever seen in pictures. He couldn't help but get down on one knee, so he was at her level, and he looked into her teary eyes as he gently moved her closer to him with a hand on her back and brought his face closer to her blushing one.

His voice was a whisper. "My dear, you are so tender. It may be gorgeous, Paya, but it isn't nearly as gorgeous as you."
Paya's eyes widened as Sidon's lips suddenly met hers, and then she closed her eyes, taking in the feeling of her very first kiss. Sidon gently pulled away.

"Forgive me, Paya. I do hope that was all right." His voice was nearly a whisper. Paya was slightly dazed. "M-more than all right, my prince."
"Paya..."

"Y-Yes, Sidon?"

"I have no words to explain how entrancing your lips feel." His voice was low, and he was looking at her with darkened eyes.

Paya felt a new type of feeling well up from within her, and her stomach was in knots. "You...aren't bad yourself, Sidon." She hated how her voice was shaking, and she was blushing profusely now, slightly ashamed of the sudden, strong feelings she had for him.

Sidon, with his keen shark-like senses, could smell the scent of her pheromones and hear how her heart was pounding, in addition to her increased breathing rate. It made him dizzy. He forced himself to ignore it all, suddenly ashamed. He was a prince, and this was no way to treat a lady, especially one he just met. He managed to speak.

"That color on your face...how I love it." He put an arm around her. She leaned into his side, and he held her close as they stood beside each other gazing at the Great Zora Bridge, not saying anything. Sidon was trying to calm down, and she was still speechless at both the kiss and the beautiful sight in front of her.

"Sidon, it's probably time I get some rest. Would you mind..."

"Of course! I'm sorry, Paya! I was so thrilled to show you the Domain I lost track of time. Please, forgive me. Come. May I carry you?"

Paya giggled. "Yes, Sidon."

The Zora effortlessly lifted her up with one arm under her knees and one across her back and under her arms, and he carried her all the way to Mipha's old room. It was a great honor for a guest to sleep in his sister's old room, which was normally off limits to everyone except for the maids, himself, and his father.

"Sidon, it's beautiful. Thank you." He placed her down onto the floor on her feet.

"Don't go anywhere. I'll be right back."

Sidon disappeared for several minutes, and Paya patiently waited for him, moving to sit on the edge of the most comfortable bed she had ever felt. Not completely to her surprise, it was a waterbed. She took off her shoes and fully leaned back, soaking in the new feeling of the special bed that seemed to wrap her in a giant, squishy hug.

Her thoughts furiously raced through her head. I just had my first kiss, and it was with him! Why is he so insanely gorgeous? And sweet, too. The way he looks at me, and the way he talks to me. Those muscles! My heart wants to beat out of my chest every time he speaks…and that feeling when he looked at me after we kissed...deep breaths, Paya. She took several long, slow breaths. She had only once experienced these types of feelings for one other person who was now married. She had to admit her feelings for Link weren't nearly as strong as those she was feeling for Sidon, even the few times Link showed up at their door wearing his Sheikah stealth armor. She really enjoyed that, but even that didn't compare to the strong feelings she had for Sidon. Guilt welled up from within her at how deeply attracted she was to the handsome Zora prince.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. "I have returned to you! May I come in?"

"Y-yes, S-Sidon."

Sidon slowly opened the door. He was carrying a large pile of several full changes of Hylian clothes, and he proceeded to hang them all in Mipha's closet.

"Please alert me if these aren't the right size. I did my best. I apologize that we are sorely lacking in Sheikah clothing here."

"Sidon! You didn't! I-I don't know what to say…other than thank you."

He grinned widely at her. "You are very welcome, my dear."

She plucked the first piece she saw out of the closet, a gorgeous aqua and dark blue dress, and she held it up to herself. "I think these will be perfect!"

He smiled, then kneeled so he was at her eye level. "There's a private bathroom right through that door with a fully stocked shower and large soaking tub. You'll find you won't be in need of much here at Zora's Domain, but if there is anything at all you require, please alert me."

Paya was in shock. "Th-thank you, Sidon. You are very kind."

She placed a hand on his, then held it, and she moved to kiss him on the cheek. Sidon and Paya both blushed as her warm lips met the cool skin of his face.

"I...must be going, Paya. Would you like me to wake you in the morning?"

"Yes, please."

He wrapped her in his arms in a hug, then moved toward the doorway. "Sleep well, beautiful flower. I shall see you in the morning. I bid you goodnight."

"Good night, Sidon, and thank you...for everything."

He nodded and smiled at her again and closed the door behind him, and she took a deep breath.

"This feels like a fairy tale," she said aloud. Her eyes drifted toward the closet, and she walked forward. She flipped through the large group of Hylian clothes, which included a stunning one-piece bathing suit, multiple changes of clothes, and a few nightdresses. A large bag of undergarments hung on one of the hangers. She blushed at the thought of Sidon picking clothes out for her, especially the undergarments. Every piece of clothing was very much Zora inspired, with varied blue hues of fabric and intricate water-like designs. She had never seen nor worn such beautiful, colorful clothing. As a Sheikah woman she was used to wearing mostly earthy, muted colors of tan, black, light brown, and dark red with some royal blue, but she was wrought with anticipation to wear all of the vibrant pieces hanging in front of her.

Paya changed into an aqua blue nightdress she found tucked within the closet, and she walked over to the full-sized mirror in the corner of the room. She gasped audibly at the sight of herself. Her grandmother, Impa, was constantly reminding her of her beauty, but she felt like she was obligated to since she was basically her mother. Zelda had once called her beautiful, and at the time she didn't believe her, but as Paya gazed at herself in the mirror wearing the nightdress, she finally was able to see what both Impa and the former princess were talking about. She remembered the conversation she had with Zelda and Link with fondness, when he told her he was sure she would find someone; now it was possibly happening.

With tears of joy in her eyes, she turned around and ran and jumped into the waterbed, her arms outstretched as if giving the comfortable bed a hug. She felt it wrap around her as the contained water in the mattress sloshed and shifted underneath her. That night, Paya slept more soundly than she ever had in the bed that hugged her back.
