Chapter 1112

I Know I Would

Minutes ago:

John Henry observed the new drone footage. The drone was on a wider recon than the one that was over the motorcycle.

It picked up more than the motorcycle.

"There's a vehicle shadowing the motorcycle." John Henry said.

It sounded like more bad news to John. At the least it seemed like another unknown.

"Is it tracking it or supporting it?" John asked.

John Henry hadn't made that determination yet. He could only speculate at this point.

"I think it's tracking it." John Henry said. "They're not moving in or trying to close up on them."

John wondered about the two targets. It made him think about the earlier encounter at the old auto body shop.

"This might be the group who attacked them in the first place." John said.

John Henry noted there was now good drone coverage over the entire area.

"We have drones over all of the targets and the Friendlies." John Henry said. "Everything is covered including the possibility of an HK drone attack against us."

John Henry was contacted by CamNet and made aware of Young Allison's decision to attack any target that appeared about to attack one of their three vehicles. He relayed the information to John.

John knew Young Allison issued a pretty broad order.

"I'm worried about Young Allison's order." John said.

John Henry didn't think John was too worried. He'd done nothing to alter it.

"You haven't countermanded it." John Henry said.

John was going to belay the order at first. He wanted his people protected too. He was provided with a series of images of their prior contact with the Fanatics. All of them were extremely violent and usually ended with an explosion along with massive damage.

"She's right." John said. "I don't always like the way she does things but they're usually 'spot on'."

John thought about it a little bit more and realized that they'd all been spot on. He didn't doubt they would be in this case either.

John Henry possessed plenty of evidence to show every call was a good one. Every time Young Allison 'helped' them, it saved the team from additional damage and there were no Resistance terminations.

"They've all been 'spot on'." John Henry said. "Every call was the right one."

John needed to focus. Whenever he thought about Young Allison he became distracted. There was always the thought in his mind about what he wanted to do with her. Maybe it was because he wanted to do it to her.

"She wants our people safe and so do I." John said. "It still worries me."

The images of the SUV exploding and the different building explosions began to play on one of John's screens, again.

John looked at John Henry and pointed to a monitor.

"I take it you're not doing that." John said.

The message of the danger the Fanatics presented was quite clear. There was no argument nor could there be. John was reminded of the seriousness of the situation.

John Henry had done nothing as far as the images were concerned. They were all provided by CamNet.

"I'm not." John Henry said. "It's playing in a loop on my server. I can't stop it."

John understood the message. He could see that someone wanted to make a point.

"I guess someone wants to remind us." John said.

It was obvious that 'someone' was CamNet. That was most likely at Young Allison's urging. There was a point to be made and a danger to deal with accordingly.

"Apparently…." John Henry said.

John Henry studied the movements of the motorcycle and the vehicle trailing it. It looked like one was setting the other one up for a hit. They could be working in concert too.

"I think the motorcycle is trying to lead the following vehicle into a trap or ambush." John Henry said.

That was good news as far as their group was concerned. There were two enemy forces trying to take each other out. Maybe the Resistance could give them a hand.

"Do you think they're not after our group?" John asked.

John Henry hoped they may have pulled a lucky break.

"The Fanatics probably think the SUV they targeted was part of the Gray or anti-Metal faction surveilling them." John Henry said. "They may not have gotten a look at the individuals inside of it."

Maybe their earlier involvement would lead to the discovery of one of the other groups' whereabouts. They still might catch a lucky break as far as the enemy went. They still didn't know where the motorcycle originated from and they certainly had no idea where the vehicle that trailed it was from. If one group was able to take out the other, they should still be able to follow one of them back to its lair or point of origin.

John was a little concerned about the earlier action that was taken. It was in broad daylight and the explosion was rather extensive.

"What about the missile strike on the Fanatic's building?" John asked. "I don't want to get burned."

John Henry thought the delivery of that weapon was very proficient.

"They may only know the building blew up." John Henry said. "Since the missile was coasting at a high speed. It was more like a fast bomb. It's doubtful anyone actually saw it. They literally would have had to have been looking for it ahead of time to be able to spot it."

John could picture that. The missile would have seemed like a blur in anyone's peripheral vision, if they'd even picked it up. There was one other worry on his mind. He wanted to make sure they owned the sky.

"Is there anything else up in the air that shouldn't be up?" John asked.

John Henry kept a watchful eye for HK drones.

"No other hostile drones have been detected." John Henry said.

John wanted to keep the upper hand and try to stay off the radar. They still didn't know for sure if it was one or two groups they dealt with. If it was two groups he wondered if they knew a third group was involved. So far there hadn't been any indication of that.

"It looks like we hold an advantage." John said. "I wonder if they know of us for sure or they each think we're part of the 'other group' from the things they've seen."

John Henry was sure they'd been able to remain unidentified. He figured even if they were detected as being another player that either group that they suspected wouldn't know any more than they did about them. In other words, they wouldn't know who they were. They normally faced Grays and Terminators associated with Skynet. They were aware there were different timeline versions of Skynet forces out there. The most extreme group was the Fanatics from a further future that worshiped that version of Skynet, SkyMaster, as a god. The anti-Metal group seemed to fight all of them. The ones from anti-Metal group that they'd encountered also seemed to be very anti-Resistance as far as John Connor and his 'Metal Whore' was concerned. They needed to fear for John's and Cameron's safety. Cameron continuously expressed concern about John being assassinated for his 'association' with Resistance Terminators. Cameron specifically felt it was her. It was one of the main reasons that she pushed for him to be with the human females. So far that hadn't happened yet. It seemed to be a constant irritant for Cameron that no one would listen to her. He needed to refocus on the current situation.

"Who specifically any of the groups are is currently unknown." John Henry said. "We have been very lucky that we haven't been specifically targeted by any of these groups."

John knew it was all Cameron's doing. He often didn't like the way that she did things. They usually seemed to prove their value in the end. The fact that they hadn't been attacked yet by anyone was due primarily to Cameron. Her sheath had paid the price numerous times to make that happen or actually not happen.

"We can thank Cameron for that." John said. "She's eradicated all traces of any of these groups we've dealt with. There was the time that she, well, Duplicate Cameron anyway, used the backpack nuke when one version of Skynet took a crack at us."

John was painfully aware that not only was the Resistance targeted but so were the children of the Resistance. There'd been an attack on the Reese family as well as the Young family.

John Henry remembered the 'Day Of Loss' well. Cameron was able to rectify that situation a few years later. None of their team perished on that day in reality. For fifteen months it appeared they were all terminated. He needed to remember what the goal of that whole endeavor was.

"Cameron – Duplicate Cameron successfully terminated that version of Skynet." John Henry said. "She believed it was one of the original versions."

John thought back on that. He'd thought that Duplicate Cameron was Cameron. When they all returned from the desert after having been gone for months, everyone was pleased to see them. They were unaware of any anomaly that involved them. They were aware that they'd visited three locations before they were pulled back into the current timeline. In reality Cameron was a 'Duplicate' created with a TDE malfunction. It wasn't a clone nor was it in a different timeline or an alternate one. It was in the same timeline. He was aware that the responsibility for that event fell on him as well. He insisted that John Henry attempt to bring them back before they ever arrived at where they were supposed to go. It was the multiple attempts at trying to grab the signal back that resulted in the creation of not only one set of Duplicates but a second set as well.

He wondered what it would be like if both of them were here. Maybe one of them would be around more often. Maybe they would fight over him. Maybe they would terminate each other. Maybe he needed to go on his long overdue honeymoon and stop thinking about it. If he didn't refocus he was going to start thinking about Cam, Cammy, Camille and Ally next. There was always Allison and both sets of Duplicate Allison. Then there was the real kicker, there was Future Allison and the one he thought he desired the most, Young Allison.

"…John…?" John Henry asked.

John realized he'd been daydreaming. His mind was where it didn't need to be. He tried to cover his inattentiveness.

"What?" John asked. "I'm sorry. I was worried about our troops in the field."

John Henry wanted to take some action on the ground. He thought they could remove half of the problem from the equation.

"I think we can take down the tailing vehicle." John Henry said.

John wasn't sure about stopping one before the other.

"Do you want to stop it now?" John asked.

John Henry thought it was time to act.

"Yes." John Henry said.

John's phone rang. He looked at it. He could see John Henry look over at him. He shrugged his shoulders as if to offer an explanation.

"The 'future' is calling." John said.

John Henry figured John was going to get a lot of calls from the 'future'. They'd already started. He wondered how soon it would be until John actually answered one of them for what it really meant. He figured right now he better concentrate on the task at hand. He sent his plan to CamNet and figured she would forward it to where it needed to be forwarded to.

Anna and Young Allison received the feed from the Command Center in the Young bunker.

Young Allison went over the proposal from John Henry. She wasn't sure how much John was involved with the plan. There was one thing that she knew for sure. She didn't like that plan.

"I think it's a mistake." Young Allison said.

Anna thought it sounded like a good plan. She reviewed it several more times.

"Why is it a mistake?" Anna asked. "It's what I would do."

Young Allison could understand that from the Terminator point of view. It was their instinct to attack any target as soon as possible. They didn't always worry about the after effects. She read the situation differently.

"I think this is still a set up." Young Allison said.

Young Allison saw it as part of a trap. She believed that the vehicle tailing the motorcycle was being offered as 'low hanging fruit' or as 'easy money'. It looked like John was about to fall for the bait. She believed the two vehicles were working in league with each other.

She felt it was time for direct action. She wanted to go over the way she felt about everything specifically with John. She didn't want to throw him off of his game but she wanted him to see it from her point of view.

Young Allison made a call directly to John.

John figured he knew who it was before he looked at his phone. He hadn't expected to hear from her this quickly. He looked at John Henry and then answered his phone.

"That was fast." John said.

Young Allison didn't like the way John answered the phone and she didn't like his attitude. No wonder Cameron was so upset all the time. She decided to play it cool. Cameron taught her how to hold her ground. She taught her how to keep John in check.

"Hi, John." Young Allison said. "I'm nice to you when I call."

It made John realize he'd been rude. That was actually the way he would respond to Cameron. He wasn't talking to Cameron now. He needed to remember she was a young lady.

"I'm sorry. Hello, Allison." John said. "I'm not sure what came over me. I apologize again."

Young Allison liked his disposition a little better now. She was very displeased with it earlier. She formulated a plan as she watched things unfold. She was still worried about the three teams they had on the ground.

"John, I want a sniper to take the bike and a LAW rocket used on the tailing vehicle." Young Allison said. "I would like those options used before a drone strike is necessary."

John was worried at the mention of a drone strike again. He was pretty sure if Young Allison decided to use that method, he wouldn't be able to do much about it. He wanted to know more about what she had in mind.

"Why?" John asked.

Young Allison wanted John to admit the obvious. She just had CamNet send him all the videos of their past contact with the Fanatics.

"You know why." Young Allison said. "Don't be afraid to say it."

John could see the writing on the wall as well. He'd even discussed it with John Henry.

"It's because it reeks of being a 'setup'." John said.

Young Allison made her plans clear to John. She intended to carry them out. She didn't think it was safe for any of their troops to approach them.

"If they get away from the city or into an industrial area, I'm going to have a drone 'take' them." Young Allison said. "That's the other choice."

John hoped to avoid a missile strike on a city street. He was worried about the collateral damage and what type of 'spin 'they would have to put on the actual event.

"It's still excessive." John said.

Young Allison wanted John to understand what was going to happen. She still planned to carry out her option even with his reservations. She was going to do what she felt was necessary to protect the team. She provided him with an alternate method to use.

"I don't think protecting our troops is excessive." Young Allison said. "I'm giving you the option to use a sniper and a LAW rocket instead."

John was sure he understood the source of her apprehension.

"Do you think we're going to have two massive explosions when that occurs?" John asked.

It was clear to Young Allison that John understood. She felt all he needed to do was think about it.

"You tell me." Young Allison said. "I don't know but I don't want to risk it. No one is expendable."

John mulled over everything again. He could see that her options provided the best safety and security to the Resistance team. He could also see and understand why she wanted to use those options in the way that she did. He wanted to know how she came to make these determinations so quickly.

"The more I think of it, the more I see your point of view." John said. "How do you reach these decisions?"

It seemed every scenario popped up in her mind. There were a lot of things she knew without her ever studying them. Many things were like 'instinct' to her.

"They just come to me once I have the information." Young Allison said. "A lot of things are like that for me."

John was sure Savannah, Young Allison and Summer were the three most educated people that he knew.

"You're extremely intelligent." John said.

She figured she might as well get some mileage out of her open ended statement.

"Thank You." Young Allison said. "I know what needs to be done. I lack the 'experience' you have. I want you to teach me. I'm a very good student."

Anna shot Young Allison an angry glance after that last group of statements.

There was a long pause.

John glanced over at John Henry. He wanted to try to keep the conversation somewhat under control.

"I'm referring to the operation." John said.

Young Allison knew how to stay in control with John. Cameron taught her. She decided to drive her point home. After all, that's what she'd just indicated that John could do.

"There's that too." Young Allison said.

Young Allison looked over at Anna, she wasn't smiling. She didn't want to create any additional problems for herself. She knew it was all going to happen at some point so she really didn't see what the big deal was. She wanted to put Anna at ease.

"It was a cheap shot." Young Allison whispered to Anna.

John wasn't sure what the troops in the field actually carried with them in their vehicles. There was a good bet between the three vehicles that they might have everything that was required. He was willing to give Young Allison's second proposal a chance to play out.

"Let me see who has what and if we can get any of our people into position to pull it off." John said.

Young Allison wanted all emergency personnel clear of the danger zones. She didn't want any of them to become inadvertently involved with anything dealing with explosives.

"Make sure the police and first responders are well clear of the activity." Young Allison said. "I think some 'traffic management' can be employed as well."

John appreciated that level of concern that Young Allison showed for the first responders. He could only hope she would try to employ that same standard for all of the civilians. He really didn't know if she would or not.

"I'll have John Henry get right on it." John said. "I'll talk to you later."

She figured she might as well play it all the way.

"You have my number." Young Allison said. "Don't be afraid to use it. I won't bite, at least not too hard anyway. Bye."

Young Allison quickly hung up.

Anna wasn't amused or impressed. She wasn't sure if she was jealous or not. She was upset. She felt she needed to address the issue.

"About half of that conversation was unnecessary." Anna said.

Young Allison wanted to be a team player. Savannah always stressed that to her. Cameron stressed action. She wanted to let Anna know she could have acted on her own and bypassed the Command Center. She hadn't done that, not yet anyway.

"All of it was unnecessary." Young Allison said. "CamNet could arrange everything on her own."

Anna didn't like the innuendos.

"You tried to reach out to him." Anna said.

Anna wanted to ask her if she would have done that in front of Savannah or her mother but didn't.

Young Allison wished she could come up with a better answer. She only did what came to her as it happened. There was no forethought or planning involved. There were things she just said when they seemed like the right thing to say.

"I really don't know what I was doing." Young Allison said.

Anna thought it was pretty clear. She spelled it out for her.

"You were 'hitting' on him, again." Anna said.

The words just seemed to form in her mouth on their own.

"I can't seem to help it." Young Allison said.

Anna wanted to move on.

"Let's see what develops." Anna said.

Anna watched Young Allison look at the front of her shirt. It was clear she was about to make a 'wisecrack'. She decided to beat her to it.

"Except those, they will get larger." Anna said. "Time will grant you that."

Young Allison smiled. She was well aware of what she would look like very soon thanks to what Cammy showed her. The thought pleased her. It wasn't often that someone was able to get a close up look at exactly what they were going to look like.

John looked at his phone for a long moment before he put it down. He was really unsure about the whole conversation. It seemed he was always on the defensive when he dealt with Young Allison. She always seemed to be in control somehow. Even if she didn't say something outright, she still 'said' it anyway.

John Henry decided to prompt him.

"Is there trouble in paradise?" John Henry asked.

John knew what could be 'paradise' was really going to be a nightmare when Cameron forced the 'Natural Order' on the four of them. He could see it coming. He also knew there was no stopping it at this point. He wasn't really sure that he wanted to. He wanted to be with both Savannah and Young Allison. He wanted to be the 'first' for both of them, at least as far as a male was concerned.

"Everything's fine." John said. "Did you listen?"

John Henry listened for any operational directives. He was unsure what new plan Young Allison would devise. He wanted to be able to act on it instantly if there was something new. He wouldn't need to wait to receive the information from Anna or CamNet.

"I did." John Henry said. "I wasn't sure if I needed to enact any tactical information. She doesn't always like to wait. She may have wanted something else done."

John shook his head. He figured that was the least of it.

"I'm pretty sure she indicated that…." John said.

John Henry was too but thought it best not to remind him. The 'Natural Order' would take place soon enough. It was coming. He could see John little by little became a little more receptive to the idea. The way things were developing, he figured when John watched 'Pretty Baby' it was only going to apply to Summer in a very short time.

John Henry contacted the three teams that were out in the field and made the assignments after he reviewed what weapons were available with each team.

Ally received their assignment. She felt they drew the short straw.

"I knew we should have left the LAW rocket with Jim and Gail." Ally said.

When they divided up the weapons, Hanna asked that they keep the LAW rocket. She hoped to get a chance to use it. She hadn't fired one before.

"I wanted to use it." Hanna said. "I want to give it a try."

Sheila knew someone needed to be careful what they wished for. When it actually came down to it, it wasn't usually what the person thought they'd wanted.

"We have a target for it now." Sheila said. "You need to keep in mind that it may be a very explosive target."

Ally was still miffed. She was worried about what could still go wrong. She glanced over at Sheila.

"Wouldn't you rather be taking prisoners?" Ally asked.

That sounded good to Sheila. She didn't mind getting her hands dirty. She needed to think about what Young Allison and Savannah gave to her. She figured there was more than one way to peel a potato.

"I would." Sheila said. "Blowing them up is cool too."

Hanna wanted to get the operation started.

"Vector us in, John Henry." Hanna said.

Hanna retrieved and held the LAW rocket now.

Ally didn't want her to jump the gun. Hanna wasn't normally on combat operations with them anymore. Most of the targets that she'd been with them on previously were soft targets. The people associated with Cameron's 'off the books' operations didn't know what a Terminator was or capable of. The people they were dealing with now did. It was something that always needed to be kept in mind.

"Don't arm it yet." Ally said.

Hanna knew how to use it even if she never actually used one before.

"I was just getting it ready." Hanna said. "I wanted to have it handy."

Sheila looked at Ally and Hanna. They were about to make the hit.

"John Henry is giving us an intercept location now." Sheila said.

Gail was ready to try a sniper attack. She would be able to 'reach out and touch someone' with a Barrett 'Light Fifty'.

"I saw an M82A1 in the back." Gail said.

Jim was ready for some action.

"We can take the motorcycle." Jim said. "There are two occupants on it."

Gail wanted to do a two for one shot. She knew that the .50 caliber round would punch right through both motorcycle riders like they were a paper target at the range. It would matter if they wore Kevlar vests are not.

"If I get a shot 'head on' or from the back, I can get both of them with one round." Gail said.

Jim thought that was an efficient use of ammunition. The more he thought about it, the more he liked the idea.

"One shot, two kills." Jim said. "I like it."

She figured John Henry could organize it.

"Yes." Gail said. "Have John Henry set it up."

Gail climbed around into the back and leaned over the back seat. She moved the Barrett to the rear seat with her and made it ready.

"I can fire directly through the front window or rear window, if you can get lined up." Gail said.

Jim wondered what the concussive effect was going to be in an enclosed space like the SUV if Gail needed to fire through one of the windows.

"I hope it is the rear window." Jim said. "The concussion alone will probably blow the entire window out."

Gail 'aimed' to find out.

"We'll see." Gail said.

She didn't believe anyone would know what they were up to with the tinted windows in the SUV. It should be a surprise to the perpetrators when they got hit. The bullet would be traveling faster than the speed of sound so it would hit them before they ever heard it. If her aim was good they would actually both be dead before the sound reached them.

Savannah piloted the B-25. She was on an 'attack simulation' to reach the cruise ship.

She intercepted the cruise ship right where she expected to.

Kyle was in the nose of the B-25. He had an excellent view of the ship.

"That ship is really big." Kyle said. "Is that the ship Cameron and John are going on tomorrow?"

Cameron really would like some more of the team to go with them. She would still try to work on Savannah and Young Allison as well. She didn't see why some of the others couldn't go either. She wanted to make an offer to Kyle.

"Yes." Cameron said. "You and Sarah can go too."

Savannah still wanted only John and Cameron to go. She wasn't quite sure if Cameron understood the implications of what she'd just indicated.

"Nobody takes their 'mother in law' on their honeymoon." Savannah said.

Kyle thought about that. If it was a newlywed couple, it would be rather awkward.

"Savannah's right." Kyle said. "Maybe Sarah and I could go some other time."

Savannah wanted to change the subject and get some simulated targeting information.

"How close do you want me to get to the 'target'?" Savannah asked.

Cammy didn't want Savannah to push it.

"I think we are good where we are." Cammy said.

Cameron decided to stay within FAA rules for now.

"We can fly five hundred feet over them." Cameron said. "That's the legal limit."

Savannah figured Cameron would have played it differently.

"You would probably fly ten feet above the exhaust stack." Savannah said.

Cameron actually liked that idea. She thought a foot was even better.

"It would liven things up around the pools." Cameron said. "It would certainly get the attention of everyone on deck if that was done.

Kyle spotted something interesting. He did a double take just to make sure.

"Are those people naked?" Kyle asked.

Derek was still in the tail gun position. His forward vision was limited.

"Where?" Derek asked. "I can't see the ship from here."

Derek moved out of the tail gun position to the waist gun position.

"It's right there near the center of the ship." Bob said as he pointed. "Most of the females are only topless. A few of them are completely nude."

Cameron hoped there wouldn't be any rude comments. She zoomed in with her Terminator vision for a closer look.

"There are ladies present here right now with us." Cameron said.

Savannah wanted a good look herself.

"It's OK." Savannah said. "I want to see too."

Cammy noticed the nude sunbathers were all confined in one location.

"That looks like a special section." Cammy said.

Savannah previously learned about the 'adult sunbathing area'.

"It is." Savannah said. "I found out about it in the comments people made. It's not generally advertised. A lot of females don't like tan lines."

Cameron came up with an excuse for her to go there.

"I'll have to check that section out." Cameron said. "I'll need to make sure it's safe for John."

Derek thought if he was on the ship he would like to check it out himself. He didn't need to hear about another male being there.

"TMI, Cameron." Derek said.

Kyle wasn't about to let Derek get away that one

"Like you wouldn't do that if you were there." Kyle said.

The prospect of seeing a group of naked females close up excited Savannah.

"I know I would." Savannah said. "I would want to look anyway."

Savannah didn't think it would hurt to look.

Cameron wanted to know how far Savannah would go.

"Would you go topless in front of strangers or naked?" Cameron asked as she looked at Savannah.

Savannah didn't see it as a problem if they were all females.

"I was basically topless a lot in both futures when I was nursing." Savannah said. "It's no big deal when everyone does it."

Cammy was there too in Cameron's future. The only male was Future John. He looked a lot. She knew he compared Savannah to Future Savannah fur breast size.

"There weren't too many strangers and that was a common practice." Cammy said. "This is different."

Savannah felt to look was one thing and to participate was another.

"I would like to see them anyway." Savannah said. "I don't think I could. I don't even feel comfortable in a two piece bikini. It feels like 'underwear' but a bikini covers even less than underwear."

Cameron knew that was true. Her underwear was very skimpy to say the least. When she wore a bikini, it was even skimpier.

She decided she would go naked and pull the attention away from Savannah.

Cammy was a little irritated with the conversation. She would protect Savannah from any prying eyes. She didn't need Cameron to do it.

"I'll do it." Cammy said. "Maybe it will draw some of the eyes off of you."

Cameron made another shot at getting Savannah to go on the cruise with them.

"Savannah is ravishing." Cameron said. "She would draw plenty of attention. I think she can come with us. I will sunbathe nude with her."

Savannah was actually enthralled by that idea. She now wondered if the reason to intercept the ship was just so she could see the naked females. She didn't want to ask Cameron directly if that was true or not. She decided to stick to her guns. She held firm to her earlier position.

"You and John are going, ALONE." Savannah said.

Cammy wanted Cameron to stop 'riding' Savannah. It more than irritated her for several reasons. She really didn't want Savannah to share with John or Cameron. She knew it was inevitable but there was no need to rush it.

"You will most likely need to make it an 'order', Savannah." Cammy said. "Or she won't stop."

Savannah looked over at Cameron. She didn't want to do that but she was afraid she might have to at some point. She was sure if she went on the cruise it wouldn't only be a 'honeymoon' for John and her but for Cameron and her as well.

Cameron and Savannah exchanged a long look.

"I may end up doing that." Savannah said.

Cameron thought she might need to back off a little. Anything else she planned with anybody else would need to be done quietly and discreetly. There was still a chance she might be able to get Young Allison to go.

Claire didn't want to create any issues with the girls or their lovers.

"I need to know if this is going to cause a problem with Gail." Claire said.

Jesse didn't see it as a problem. They all got around.

"She is very understanding." Jesse said. "She would like to spend time with Hanna."

Claire knew there were some conditions.

"I heard about that." Claire said. "Hanna needs to be 'Savannah' for her."

Jesse knew it was something they all did.

"They all roll play." Jesse said. "We do too."

Claire wondered about Samantha.

"I asked Cameron to make a Terminator version of me." Claire said.

To share with Sheila was always exciting to Jesse.

"We can all have one." Jesse said. "They're hot in bed. You can really see what you look like to others. I think it's exciting and beautiful. You sort of go wild when you're with them. You can picture it as yourself with 'yourself'."

Claire wanted it for a deeper concern. She wanted to make sure her girls would have a 'mother' of some type if anything happened to her. It wouldn't actually be her but it was better than not having any type of mother at all. What Jesse pointed out would call for some investigation, up close. She wanted to see what she looked like to others. The view from a mirror or an image on a phone wasn't the same as looking at the real thing.

"I wanted Samantha as Metal Claire to be created in case I die again." Claire said. "I want my girls to still have their 'mother'. I want them to be protected."

Jesse didn't like any talk of anyone dying. She'd already needed to see too much of it.

"Cameron won't let you die." Jesse said. "I won't either."

Claire wanted her girls protected.

"It's for 'just in case'." Claire said. "I know what happened to Allison, Vanna and you."

Jesse pointed out the obvious. It was still an uncomfortable situation. She didn't like some of the things that she needed to do but she did them anyway. She did what it took to stay alive. She still had her 'pearl' and both 'pacifiers'.

"We all survived." Jesse said.

Claire could see Jesse was upset.

"I'm sorry." Claire said.

Jesse smiled at Claire before a far off look came across her face.

"No." Jesse said. "It's a good idea. I've asked Cameron to make sure Young Jesse and my sister are protected as well. She has sent extra Terminators there for them. I don't want Young Jesse to ever be ME."

The thought of Young Jesse and her sister being savaged in a Scavenger camp disgusted her. It made some of the things that were done to her come back into her mind. She tried not to think about them. When she did, she ended up thinking about the things that she'd done to others.

I Know I Would

In any given situation
What will one actually do
It may all depend upon
The difference between me and you

There are no two people
That are always the same
When one does something different
It's easy for the other to blame

I don't really think
That's how it should work
It soon can lead to one
Being a total jerk

One needs to remember
What goes around, comes around
When it happens to them
The results may astound

When life's shadow is lifted
That's when one needs to feel good
Put the pieces back together
I know I would

Nobody
