A/N One more short chapter and it is it for now. I wanted to explore how the children would be looked by others.

The Green Protector
Hermione is now sure the wolf is the fur-ball. She is certain. The wolf climbs on the bed and lays near her feet after it goes by the old Crosshanks basket and licks its head. Yes, that cinches it; Hermione is sure that the wolf is a grown-up fur-ball, or maybe a morph of the same. She will think of a name. She will realize that her old cat has shed many years, but soon enough will notice.
Hermione wants to see Hagrid before she tells her wizards; the green wolf stays by her side every second, and when it can, it licks her hand. It has a mission, to protect and find who tried to kill her and why. The wolf is a feared creature sent by 'It.' 'It' is merciless, nobody hurts those under its protection or his creatures, and the payment is swift. Besides, something has changed; Hermione is someone 'It' doesn't understand; she wakes up old memories buried deep.
Hermione notices Draco's eyes; he keeps drying tears. Lucius is also subdued, making her fear she might have been right. Her hand goes to her belly, wondering and hoping she is wrong.
Harry is on a vendetta; he says heads will roll. Someone informed him that Hermione had fainted. He wants to see her and find out what happened. Hermione is his family, and the idea she might have been hurt stirs his blood; he wants to hurt whoever did it, starting with his former crush.
He storms into the Manor, looking like a warrior, fierce and ready to protect those he loves. He finds the family, the Weasley, Fenrir, and Clarissa, Hermione's cousin, sitting in the conservatory, looking at the children running around with two young dogs, five, six months old. One looks like a green wolf pup, and the other, "Oh!" he exclaims and stops staring. His mouth is dry, realizing he knows the dog. Harry is certain when it changes into Colin, who is always with Remus.
Hermione calls, "Harry, isn't it wonderful?" Her eyes are luminous.
Harry sits on his calves and opens his arms, "You are here! You are a puppy, Padfoot! Mimi, am I right?" He keeps laughing; it is pure, undiluted happiness.
"Yes, he is being renamed Colin Sirius." She nods.
Harry holds the child; his eyes are bright with happiness, tears flowing. He is grateful to whoever made this possible. Colin-Sirius kisses his cheek, "I love you, uncle Harry, don't cry." He says, holding on to Harry. Harry keeps the child close to him, inhaling the child's sweet fragrance.
Harry decides; that he has a family, Mimi, Dora, Remus, and Sirius. Amazingly, Sirius loves Bella; this is a wonderful realization. They all love Bella; she is a little mother caring for all of them. Before marrying, he will wait for a while; he wants to watch over them. He will work with the Weasley and the Malfoy because he needs to be around his family. The attack on Hermione scared him silly; he cannot lose his family, his Mimi. He really wants to tear his former lover to pieces with his bare hands.
A stag appears in the middle of the room. It comes by Harry, "Dad, is it you?" Colin-Sirius and Remus wave their hands, saying, "Hi, James," surprising the Malfoy. The stag nods and disappears. "My father agrees." He says aloud; Harry's heart fills with peace for the first time since Sirius was murdered by his cousin. This is where he belongs; his magic and the Auror training will help him keep his family safe.
The Visitor
They are told that someone wants to see Hermione, but Draco and Lucius go instead. Draco recognizes the wizard, the one who probably hurt the fur-ball. He looks haunted and much older than he should.
Please, I must talk to Mrs. Malfoy. I don't mean her ill." He uncovers his wrist to show them a bracelet. They recognize it, "I was a mean and spoiled young wizard; I am sorry to say one day I trapped a magical creature and tied it so It wouldn't leave. But when I came back I couldn't find it, so I went. I was fascinated with your wife, so I realized she was special after something happened to me. Though you might not see the glowing symbol on top of her left hand, it is there. Before I tried to see her once at Hogwarts, unfortunately, the being thought I wanted to harm her. It isn't true, and today I have information, but I must talk to her.
Though Lucius and Draco agree, they want the wizard's wand and tell him where to sit.
Hermione comes with the wolf. The wolf growls and snarls, "Shh, I am okay. Let him talk."
The wizard is pale, looking at the wolf. Hermione nods, letting him know he is right. "Don't worry, Green will sit by me." There she found a name the children will like. The wolf climbs on the couch, with his head on her lap. Green likes the name.
"I didn't mean to hurt it. I mean Green I tied it so that it wouldn't leave. I had seen Green twice and wanted to keep it; Green was so pretty. I brought him a slice of cake, and Green came to me. Then I tied his legs so he wouldn't leave while I ran for the satchel I had left a few feet away. When I was back, Green was gone. I used magic to tie him. but now I know our magic can hurt him. I was young, spoiled, and thoughtless." His sorrow is genuine. The wolf growls softly, a partial retrieve. Hermione has to cover her face to smile; her green friend likes treats.
"The store where someone attacked you belongs to my parents; they told me what happened. My mother sends her apologies; she is aghast. My mother said three people were talking earlier. She knows who they are. The three said that the Malfoys were the next Dark Lords and they should die. One of them must be the one who hurt your wife; my mother said she saw a curse hitting you. She wanted to know if you were okay. "
He stopped to look at Hermione for a second, "My mother was very upset and kicked them out of the store and told them never to come back. I've been asking around. There is a group that was neutral during the last war. They want to stop you and want to know about the children. They said they were not born to you; they know one of the mothers. They think you're in the middle of this, and they might also want to hurt your children. They called the bad names."
Hermione had to sit down. The children, nothing could happen to them. "Who are they?" The three Malfoys asked at the same time.
"I want to help, but I need to 'It' to forgive my transgressions. I want to know no more horrors will happen to me. I know it is wrong to ask for help in exchange. But, would you intercede for me? I know you can do it. I have done a lot of research, and I know that 'It' marked you as a favorite." His eyes are downcast.
Hermione notices Draco knew and wonders how.
"You could ask for the sky, and it would be given. While that is true, I also know who you are and wouldn't do it. Forgive me, but I called you ugly, despicable names while I was in Hogwarts. I was an idiot; my parents told me so. i wanted to join the Death Eaters until this happened, and now all I want is to live a good life and be forgiven." He still won't lookup.
The wolf, looking carefully, goes by the wizard, who freezes, scared to death. The wizard hears inside of his head, "Don't be scared. We want to know if you're truthful. You hurt me; you know I could have died."
The wizard knows who the wolf is; it is not an animal, not a person, it is neither; it must be very young. In this form, he is still a pup, so pretty. The visiting wizard knows much about these things. His parents have a library that many would like to have. The young wolf, still a pup, walks around him and smells him carefully. The wolf presses his nose on the bracelet, and the bracelet disappears.
The wizard falls to his knees, "Thank you, thank you, thank you." He keeps saying it until the wolf barks, making the Malfoy chuckle. "I don't know everyone in the group, but my parents think some of the ones who came earlier must have stayed. They used dark magic to hide in the shadows. It is the only way since the store is heavily warded and concealment is impossible. I wrote the names of the ones I know belong to the group. One was a student; she might be the one who says the children were not born to you."
"Here is the list," he gives them a scroll. "I will help and take you where they suppose to meet. I told one that I hated you and was glad someone attacked you." He stands to give the scroll to Lucius. The scroll vanishes for a second and reappears. A nasty growl is heard, not from the wolf. The wizard says, "'It' was here." He is in awe; he goes down to one knee and bows. The Malfoy looks at him as if he were crazy.
The wizard lifts his head, and they see his face is changed; he looks his age, high twenties. It is a gift from whoever. Hermione asks, "Could you show me the mark? Draco says I have one." The wolf barks a little nasty, "Draco is not a gossip," Hermione says, smiling.
The wizard points at the top of her right hand. "I don't see anything." Hermione looks.
"It is there, a strange symbol. Here," the wizard gives her a scroll. "it is a copy; only a favorite is marked. The author said it has only happened a couple of times. You see the symbol in the scroll? I have looked and found it, but nobody knows the meaning. Read what it says."
"We will come tomorrow, or you can come here. I want my partners to be here. This must end." Draco shakes his hand. "Look in the mirror before you leave."
The wizard goes by a mirror and touches his face. "Thanks again; my family will help. They are furious; they are fans of Mrs. Malfoy. They love the children; please don't hold it against them. They think you are honored since they know about 'It.'
When he leaves, they look at the list, but they don't recognize any of the mothers. Lucius holds Hermione. "Don't worry; I saw how the scroll disappeared. I think whoever did it will be found one way or another. I won't let anything else happen; from now on, stores must be checked and empty before we go. I think one of the other mothers must be part of this madness. We will look."
Hermione believes the same. She thinks this is almost over, but Draco must tell her how he knows. "Let's go; the pizza must be ready," the wolf bangs its tail and whines. "Yes, I remember pizza for you, with mushrooms and olives."
Lucius laughs, "And one of your fizzy drinks."
There is one more surprise, when they go back to the drawing room where the children are playing with a young Kneazle. Green sees it and goes to lick it. "Mommy, Daddies, look, " Severus calls them, "we found a kitty."
Hermione grins, another present, Crosshanks is young once again.
That night, when her wizards hold her in a loving embrace, she feels Draco's arousal. Nothing uncommon; holding her close has that effect. These days this is the only time to love each other. "We could, I guess…." Hermione starts.
"No, darling, I always want you; today, you must rest." Draco kisses her briefly.
"My witch, holding you is enough. Sleep, my love." Lucius kisses her forehead. What he wants is to find who tried to kill her and kill the bastard, slowly and painfully.
Lucius and Draco sleep, knowing their witch is safe. They will make sure it says that way.
Hagrid
Draco won't let her go alone; Ron goes with them; he is like Harry, Hermione is an old love, and now she is family and a good friend. The green wolf sticks to Hermione, no Floo for her. Lucius doesn't want anyone to use the Floo, worried since the attack. The young wolf looks at Draco on and off, not sure about him. Why hasn't he said about that day? The one, who looks like a wolf thinks. They go in a modified car, flying to Hogwarts under a concealment charm, keeping it hidden from Muggle radars, all innovations invented by them.
