Year 2
Chapter 9
School was almost done. Some of the students, mostly fifth and seventh years, were panicking. The lower years and sixth hadn't started to worry until the exam time drew closer. Although there was only one student who wasn't worried about the exams.
Instead of being worried Harry was tired and ready for the last day of school. Harry and Draco had been tasked to make the calming draughts and dreamless sleep, though Harry made the majority because Draco needed to study. Potions making wasn't the only thing making Harry tired.
No, the other thing was Dumbledore and his young followers. Ever since the term started the Headmaster had tried to get Harry alone, but was unsuccessful because the Auror guard would show before Dumbledore could say two words. Harry would always mentally laugh at the old man's annoyed angry look. That still doesn't stop him from trying. The Annoying Trio were the same way. Whenever Dumbledore would get escorted away, they show up and start hounding him. At first it was to find out why he wasn't at Hogwarts during Yule, but when they couldn't get an answer from they switched tactics and tried to get Harry in trouble. Like Dumbledore they were hindered by Harry's friends or the older Slytherins and sometimes Percy.
One day a week before the last Quidditch game Harry was devastated and angry. It started during the Slytherin practice. Goyle and Crabbe, the second string beaters, walked out onto the field and told Harry that Snape needed him. Not thinking about it he handed his broom to Crabbe and took off towards the castle. When he found his mate Harry learned that he had been lied to. He and Severus went back out to the Quidditch field only to find it empty and his broom missing.
"Don't worry, Harry, we'll find Crabbe and Goyle and find out what happened."
Harry nodded as they walked back inside and straight to the dungeons.
Why did they do this? Harry mentally asked himself.
Severus growled lowly at Harry's thought. He hadn't meant to hear it, but their bond has been getting stronger. It made him angry that someone had hurt his mate like this. Being honest with himself he knew something didn't add up with this.
Their trip was in silence, neither didn't trust themselves to say something that might make the situation worse. As soon as they walked into the common room they both knew something happened. The whole house was sitting around the main room quiet with rage just below the surface.
"What happened?" Severus asked looking around and noticed that Goyle and Crabbe were missing.
"Vince and Greg are in the infirmary." Adrian Pucey answered from the couch.
Severus narrowed his eyes. "Why?"
"We found them knocked out in the potion's lab." Marcus answered pointing between himself and Adrian. "When they didn't wake up with an rennervate we took them to the Infirmary. Madam Pomfrey scanned them and said that they were dosed with a powerful boardline dark knockout potion. She called for a Healer before sending us away"
"Did you find anything near them?' Harry asked.
"Yes, these," Adrian pointed to the cupcakes on the table. "Marcus and I tested the icing. The potion was mixed into it."
"Flint, go get an Auror. I don't care if it's Shacklebolt. Also get the governor as well. Pucey get Professors McGonagall and Flitwick." Severus ordered with a dangerous tone in his voice.
"Yes, sir." They replied as they rushed out of the room.
"Harry, go sit next to your friends." The older man spoke softly to his hurt mate.
Harry did as he was told. He ignored the looks as he sat down between Draco and Blaise. No one had spoken another word as they waited.
Fifteen minutes later Shacklebolt, Governor McMillan, McGonagall and Flitwick walked into the Slytherin common room with Marcus and Adrian behind them. The four looked around the room with surprise on their faces.
"What's going on?" Minerva asked first.
Severus stepped forward. "Two of my snakes, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, were dosed with a boardline dark knockout potion. I also think the people who did it used their hair for a Polyjuice Potion. Mr. Potter was tricked earlier by Crabbe and Goyle. When he and I went back to the pitch it was empty and Mr. Potter's broom was missing."
"So you don't know if the two boys were real when they went to the pitch?" Kingsley asked distractedly while trying to figure it all out.
"We won't know until the boys wake up. Poppy called for a Healer."
"Do you know which one it was? The potion I mean." Minerva asked worriedly.
"No, not yet. I wanted to inform you all first. I need to wait and see what the Healer says."
"Severus, I'm not pointing fingers or accusing, but did you have this potion in your stock?" Filius asked carefully.
"No. And before you ask the book is at home under powerful wards. I know of three others, one is in the Black Library, one at the Ministry and the other was with the Dark Lord. No one knew where the man lived."
Everyone looked at the door when a knock sounded. Severus carefully made his way to the door. A few intense seconds later he stepped to the side and allowed Poppy and the Healer in.
"Oh, Minerva, I was looking for you." Poppy spoke looking relieved.
"What's the matter?"
"Those children showed up in my wing." The Matron's face turned to annoyance. "They started demanding that I help the Granger girl. I told her to sit on a bed and wait. The boy tells me that his girlfriend doesn't need to wait while the Death Eaters are getting treated. The Weasley girl tells me that slimy snakes shouldn't get treated like normal people." Poppy sneered.
"What was the matter with Granger?" Minerva unhappily asked, though there was a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"She told me she was trying to become an Animagus. When I silently cast the spell to reverse it, I found she was lying. A detection spell told me it was Polyjuice. When I told her there was nothing I could do, the Weasley children threaten to tell Dumbledore. I told them to go ahead then I came here when I couldn't find you." Poppy explained.
*Sev, didn't you say Dumbledore had her spelled to tell him everything first?*
*Yes. The Aurors must have a suppressor cuff on him. Limiting the magic he uses.*
*So you can try to get her to Gringotts. Maybe the fail-safe won't kill her if his magic is temporarily cut off from the spell.*
*Hmm, I'll try before the end of term.*
Harry gave him a slight nod.
"Let's continue this in my office." Severus suggested giving the other adults a pointed look. They all agreed.
"Madam Pomfrey, will Greg and Vince be alright?" Theo asked.
"Oh yes. They'll be staying in the hospital wing for a few days to make sure there are no side effects." She assured the children with a soft smile.
Severus picked up the cupcakes before following the others out of the common room. Granger, the Weasleys, and Dumbledore are not going to get away with this. The only question he wanted an answer to was how did Dumbledore get the potion recipe. And probably who made it because it is an extremely volatile potion that takes a week to brew.
After the adults left the Slytherins turned to Harry. They can see that he was upset and only Draco, Marcus, Blaise, and Theo could see the anger in their friend's eyes.
"Harry, what do you want to do?" Draco asked softly.
"I don't know. I mean I want them to pay, but I'll get into trouble because they'll know it was me or all of you. Let's wait and see what the adults will do. An Auror and Governor are involved so they won't get away with it and Dumbledore can't help them anymore." Harry explained to his house.
"What will you do for the game?" Marcus asked.
"I'll ask Fred and George to get the broom back." Harry replied. After a few seconds he stood up. "I'll go do that now."
"We'll go with you." Blaise spoke, standing up followed by Draco, Marcus, and Theo.
"No, its alright. I can go alone since those three are still in the Infirmary." He tried to get them to stay.
"No luck, Potter, we're going." Marcus laughed as he headed for the door.
The twins and Percy, who was with them, were furious when Marcus explained what happened. Fred went back into the dorm telling Harry over his shoulder he'll be back. Harry told George and Percy not to do anything and just let the Aurors and Governors handle it. George told him they'll wait to hear the verdict of their punishment. Percy was going to send a letter to Bill and Charlie. He told them that depending on the punishment he'll contact Lord Yaxley. Harry thanked Fred for getting his broom back when the redhead had came back with it, then he and his friends left the Gryffindors to their plotting.
(*v*)
Three days after the incident, Crabbe and Goyle were released from the Hospital Wing. Neither boy spoke a word about what happened and told their house that Snape told them not to. Harry had respected that and refrain from looking into their minds.
At the end of the week the news of the Annoying Trio's arrest spread around the school faster than a released Snitch. Harry and the Slytherins celebrated that night until well past curfew. Their Head of House celebrated with them.
(*v*)
The day they were waiting for-Slytherin versus Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw had manage to beat Gryffindor by twenty points even though Gryffindor caught the Snitch the last game. The day after the major victory, the Eagles and Snakes traded friendly jabs and taunts of who was going to win while the losers cry like babies.
The game started off aggressive. Both teams' Beaters fought for control of the Bludgers, while the Chasers kicked and knocked into each other to get the Quaffle. Harry on the other hand stayed away by hovering over the pitch. He didn't spot the Snitch until an hour into the game.
Harry flew as fast as he could towards the golden ball that was hovering over the professor stand. A flash of blue on his left told him that Roger Davies had spotted it as well or he had been watching him. Harry kept his eye on the ball ignoring his opponent, which was a bad choice to make when Davies grabbed the back of his broom and pushed it down. The Ravenclaw laughed when the balance shift caused Harry to tip over sideways.
The Slytherin righted himself with a growl, then shot off towards the Ravenclaw. He had just about grabbed the other boy's broom when he heard Lee Jordan announce that Draco had been hit in the leg with a Bludger and Marcus called time-out. Harry abandoned his revenge and flew straight to his team. He arrived in time to hear Severus tell them that Draco's femur was broken and the muscles and nerves in his thigh was damaged. Marcus began cursing along with the entire team minus Harry. Harry although angry stayed calm and told Draco not to worry that they'll beat Ravenclaw with a humiliating number. Draco had laughed and wished them luck. After Severus assured them that Draco was okay, Marcus ordered them back to the game.
With renewed determination and anger the Slytherins played even harder. They managed to get ahead of Ravenclaw with 220 to 140. The longest game Hogwarts has ever had according to Lee Jordan. Harry was now flying all over the field trying to find the Snitch again, a few times he pretended to see it to psych Davies out. It worked so well that Davies didn't follow him when he actually did see the Snitch, which was seen at the bottom of the hoops on the Ravenclaw side close to the ground. For the first time since he started playing, Harry wondered how that ball worked.
By the time he was twenty feet away he spotted Davies on his left again. This time he was watching the other boy. When Davies made a grab for his broom, Harry barrel-rolled under Davies forcing the boy to slide off his broom. Harry straighten out and continued towards the Snitch that had stayed in place. A few heartbeats later small golden wings flapped roughly against his hand. Lee Jordan announced to everyone that Slytherin won the Cup with 390 to 150.
The Slytherins, Draco, and Severus included, celebrated in the middle of the field. A cold looking Dumbledore handed the Cup to Marcus then stormed away. Harry and Severus shared a smile as they watched him leave.
When the winning House decided to move their celebration inside, Harry helped Draco who was still recovering. By the time they made it inside their house was gone from the halls. Harry spotted Fred and George on the way to the dungeons. He thanked Fred again.
"It was no problem, Harry. George and I are always happy to help a friend." Fred smiled.
"Well thank you anyway. Now I must get Dray to the common room before Snape yells at me."
The twins laughed. "We'll see you later. Oh and excellent game." Fred smirked.
"That trick you pulled on Davies was great and the barrel-roll was even better." George replied with his own smirk.
Harry blushed at the compliment. "Thanks guys."
For the second time in a short amount of time the Sytherin House celebrated a victory.
(*v*)
The trial was set in three days. In his letter, Lucius mentioned that Molly Weasley had stormed into the Ministry demanding her children to be released. He written that she lost her temper and was arrested, Arthur Weasley who came to his wife's aid was arrested as well. Harry knew Molly wasn't going to be leaving the Ministry.
Also in the letter, Lucius wrote that Molly was given Veritaserum and admitted to sending three illegal potions, two of them were known dark potions, to her underage children. For that and her actions in the atrium she was sentenced to five years in Azkaban and was no longer allowed to brew potions. Arthur was given one year in Azkaban and five years probation as an accomplice during the fact.
Harry and Draco told the former Weasley boys what the letter had said. Fred, George and Percy celebrated with the two Slytherins until well passed midnight. They would have continued, but the upcoming exams hindered their celebration.
Three days later another letter was received. Ron, Hermione and Ginny received one year house arrest because they were minors. They were also given probation until they graduate from Hogwarts and will have to check in with an Auror every week for a wand inspections and truth serum sessions. At the end of their seventh year their case will be reviewed again to determine whether or not they would need further treatment. During their house arrest they will have a Ministry approved tutored so they don't fall behind on their studies. Hermione who is a muggleborn will have to be escorted to the Ministry by an Auror every day. Ron and Ginny will be sent to their Aunt Muriel. Neither of the three will be able to leave their house for any reason.
Harry himself was happy that he is able to get through the final week of term without Granger around. He knew she would have tried again to get him in trouble by saying he cheated, if she had seen the notices listing the top students. He wasn't the only one who would be accused. Granger wasn't even in the top ten. Next year will be easier for everyone in the school.
(*v*)
Draco made his way to his godfather's private rooms. Since last June he has had a conflicting problem and didn't know how to handle it. It had gotten worst during the last few months. Going to his godfather scared him because this problem involves Harry and he doesn't want the man to get angry with him; he had no one else to go to. His father and mother wouldn't understand and his friends were inexperience with this kind of problem.
The blonde quietly walked into the comfortable room and straight to the lab. Luck was on his side when he spotted Severus brewing and the older man was alone. Nervously he made his way closer.
"Uncle Sev, can I talk to you?" He asked softly.
Severus turned his head to look at his godson. He quickly finished the final step of his potion when he saw how scared Draco looked. Once the potion was done he doused the flame, it needed to cool for three hours before bottling. Severus guided the young boy to the leather sofa in the corner of the lab.
"What has you scared, Dragon?"
Draco nervously twisted his hands, keeping his eyes down. "I think I'm in love with Harry, Uncle Sev. Which is weird because Harry is my best friend. I know he loves you and you two are made for each other. I don't know what to do." Draco sighed in defeat.
"When did this start?" Severus asked softly so he doesn't scare the boy more.
"Last June. I woke from a dream I had of Harry. In the dream we were kissing and touching each other."
Severus chuckled. Now he understood. "Don't worry, Dragon. Your body is going through puberty. Its natural to have wet dreams about someone you know. You having one about Harry just means that you feel safe with him. When you get older you'll start dreaming about other people, especially those you want to be with."
"Did it happen to you?"
"Yes, it did. At first I dreamed about Lily Potter, but once I realized I was gay I dreamed about Regulus Black, Nott Sr., and Caleb Yaxley."
"Oh, so those dreams didn't change your friendship with them?"
"No, because like I said they are just dreams as your body matures. Are your dreams the reason why you told your friends you like Fred and George?" Severus not so subtly inquired.
Draco's head shot up to look at Severus. Upon seeing the smirk he glared. "I'm going to kill your husband."
"No you won't. He just told me so I would be able to help when the time came." Severus explained.
"Doesn't matter." Draco grumbled. "To answer your question, yes I tried to like the twins to stop dreaming about Harry. It obviously didn't work because I'm still having the same bloody dreams."
"How about kissing Harry? With one kiss you will be able to see if there is any feelings besides friendship between the two of you."
Draco's eyes went wide as his mouth dropped opened. He couldn't believe Severus said something like that. How could he mention his husband, mate and bonded so causally like that?
"I-I can't do that. I can't ask Harry to do that. He loves you, he wouldn't betray you." Draco protested, then glared at his godfather. "How could you?! Do you even love Harry?"
Severus glared at Draco's insinuation. "Of course I love Harry!" He angrily yelled. "I know Harry loves me. Just like I know he will do anything to help a friend, to help you. Harry will not hesitate to help in anyway he can, including kissing you to show you that your feelings are nothing more than platonic and that afterwards you dream of someone else. So go on, tell Harry everything you told me, prove me wrong." Severus got up and walked over to the table. He kept his back to Draco while he cleaned up.
"I'm sorry, Sev." Draco whispered before walking out of the lab. Severus' sigh followed him out the door.
"You really upset him."
The familiar voice made Draco stop. He looked up spotting Harry next to the desk. How much did Harry hear?
"How long?" Draco nervously asked.
"I walked in when he asked about the twins. And no, I'm not mad or insulted by what he said. Sev is right, Draco, I would kiss you to help you. I read a study that teens who go through puberty have an easier time if they do something. Kissing is the most common action to take. It will allow you to feel and see if there is a connection, and it will also help you determine your sexuality."[1]
"I can't ask you to do that. I can't be...I refuse to be your first kiss. You and Severus are mates. He has all rights to your firsts. I'll talk to father about this until it goes away. I'm sorry, Harry. Tell Severus I'm sorry." Draco rushed out of the room.
"Maybe he's right."
Harry turned to face his mate. "About what?"
"Being your first for everything. You know how possessive I am. I was angry at myself for suggesting such a thing. I only did because I wanted to help Draco."
"I know, Sev. I feel the same way." Harry walked towards the door. "I better find him and apologize."
"Harry?" Severus called out. He continued when the teen looked at him. "Are you..." He couldn't finish, it really wasn't his place to ask such a thing.
Harry smirked. "Oh yeah. Only mine are about Bill and Percy Weasley." He ran out the door laughing.
"Harry!" Severus yelled after his mate. That wasn't true. Right?
(*v*)
The forest was beautiful. The sunlight filtering through the trees gave it a calm and peaceful look. The sounds of rustling leaves, animals playing, and the water falling into the pond and flowing through the wooded area for the animals made one feel content to stay in the forest.
Harry had gone inside to look for ingredients. Severus had said the forest had many different plants that the greenhouse didn't have; the Apothecaries didn't have them either unless Severus sold them after collecting some.
With it being Saturday Harry could take his time to explore. He needed to escape for a couple of hours. With school ending students were running around like crazy. The noise of everyone in the castle grated on his nerves. There was no quiet spot, which is why he was in the forest. Harry only had a couple hours available because the Slytherins were going to have a pick up game after lunch. Marcus had announced the night before that he was stepping down and won't play his last year. The soon to be former captain passed the mantle to Adrian Pucey who will be a sixth year next term. The whole house decided on a last game for Marcus. Everyone was looking forward to it.
The Slytherin was brought out of his thoughts when a loud pain filled cry was heard. Harry raced through the trees and bushes towards the sound. He came to a sudden stop when he spotted a young centaur being attacked by multiple animals. Pulling his wand he sent several fire charms at the acromantulas, burning the giant spiders. Next he killed the blasted-end skrewts. Finally he only wounded the two wolves with a cutting hex. Harry rushed forward to heal the foal, he found that the centaur didn't look more than five years old. Healing the broken leg the best he could after tending to the wolf bites, burns and using antivenom on the spider bites, Harry levitated the foal and began looking for her herd.
Twenty minutes later Harry came face to face with arrows, spears, and swords. He raised his free hand as he used the other to slowly lower the foal on the ground. Once she was down, Harry placed his wand on the ground in front of him, then raised that hand to surrender and step back. Two male centaurs stepped forward to pick up the girl and carry her away. What looked like the leader was the first to speak.
"Explain." He demanded harshly, glaring at Harry.
"I heard her cry out and ran to help. I came upon her being attacked by three acronmantulas, two wolves, and three blasted-ended skrewts. I burned the spiders, blew up the skrewts, and wounded the wolves with a cutting hex." Harry explained without an ounce of fear.
"Why were the wolves spared?!" One centaur yelled out.
"My adopted father and grandfather are werewolves. I couldn't bring myself to kill the wolves."
"Keep explaining." The leader barked out.
Harry nodded. "I then worked to heal her. Severus Snape taught me how. I had antivenom on me, so I made sure she took it. Since my training is still basic I wasn't able to heal her leg completely."
"Very well. We owe you a debt, Mr. Potter. Please leave the forest today. If you see Hagrid tell him he is no longer allowed inside."
Harry nodded again. "I will Mister..., sorry can I get your name?"
"Its Bane, just Bane."
"Thank you, Bane. May I ask why you don't want him in the forest again?"
"Those spiders were his. He brought them here and raised them. He was also responsible for keeping the skrewts out of the forest." Bane explained with a sneer.
Understanding dawned on Harry. He remembered Tom telling him about the incident in his sixth year. "I understand. Could you tell her I'm sorry for not getting there sooner."
"No need to apologize, Harry Potter. You saved my daughter Dianthus. You did what you were suppose to do. Now go on or you'll be late."
Harry picked up his wand. He looked up at Bane again and smiled. "There is no debt to be paid. Yours cancels out the one I owe Firenze for saving my life last year."
Without another word Harry left the herd. He told Hagrid what Bane said, but the half giant didn't believe him. Instead he glared at Harry and called him a lying snake. Harry had just shrugged and left. Before going to the pitch Harry went to the governors' temporary office and reported what happened. He even mentioned Hagrid and what he said. The governor told him that he'll handle everything.
The raven haired Slytherin thanked the governor and went to meet his house. After explaining why he was late they started their game.
(*v*)
"Parvati, I don't know what to do." Lavender Brown moaned to her friend. The two of them were in their own compartment on the train, waiting for it to leave the station.
"About what, Lavender." Parvati snapped. The Gryffindor Patil twin liked her friend, but the brunette was driving her crazy. She never wants to say what the problem is.
"You remember the night I left my makeup case in the common room." Lavender voice was laced with defeat. It was now or never.
"Yes, I remember. What about it?"
"Well I overheard Granger and Weasley. Weasley was voicing his anger over the spell on the Bludger not killing Potter. Granger told him she didn't know what went wrong."
Parvati eyes went wide. "They were behind that."
"Yes. And that's not all, Granger and Weasley are sleeping together."
"Are you serious?" Parvati stared at Lavender with wide eyes, disgust was clear on her face.
"Yes, Parvati. They had their hands under each other's clothes. I ran back to the room not wanting to see or hear anything else." Lavender grimaced.
"You need to tell Potter what they said."
"What if he gets angry at me for waiting so long?" Lavender whined.
Parvati rolled her eyes and huffed out a sigh. "Just tell him you blocked it out because you saw them touching each other. I'm sure he'll understand."
Lavender stared at her friend while she contemplated her choices. She was scared of the Slytherins. No, she didn't think they were evil like everyone else did, what scared her was how confident and mature they seem. Lavender didn't want to be seen as a ditz in their eyes.
The Brown girl blew out a breath and stood up straight. "Okay I'll go tell him. Be back in a few minutes."
With a wave of Parvati's hand Lavender left the compartment. She went straight to the back and was directed to the right compartment by a Slytherin prefect. She nervously knocked on the door and waited.
The door opened and she was face to face with Theo Nott. Out of the five Slytherins, Lavender liked the studious one. There was something about Theo that made Lavender want to prove herself. Prove that she wasn't a ditz or an airhead. Her mother just said the feeling will pass when she's older, but Lavender doesn't believe that.
"What did you need?" Theo asked getting the girl's attention.
Lavender mentally shook her head. "I wanted to talk to Potter. There's something he needs to know."
Theo stepped aside and waved her in. The door closed behind her as she stood looking at Harry. Her nerves came back tenfold making her tremble in front of the five boys. Lavender felt embarrassed knowing her face was bright red by the heat she felt from it. She also felt a bit lightheaded. If only Parvati came with her, maybe she wouldn't feel this way with her friend's comforting presence.
"What did you need to tell me?"
Lavender blinked and cleared her throat. "Well...um...you see the night after the qudditch game, the one where the Bludger attacked you. You see...I-I overheard Weasley and Granger talk about it. Weasley was angry that it didn't kill you. Granger was angry that the spell failed." She stammered through her explanation.
"Why did you wait until now to say something?" Draco glared.
"Well it...it wasn't the only thing I overheard or saw. I unfortunately caught them kissing and touching one another under their clothes. I left just after that and blocked the memory. It wasn't until their arrest that I remembered that night and then I was just too afraid to say anything."
"Thank you for telling me. I'm sorry you saw that. The next time you are Flourish and Blotts get a book on Occulmency. It will help you block the memory so well you'll never remember again. Occulmency will be better than Obliviate which will leave a blank spot in your mind." Harry explained carefully. He was hoping the girl will get her friends into it, the more people that work on their shields the safer they'll be from Dumbledore and his Order.
"I'll look for it. Thanks for believing me. See you next term." With that she rushed out and back to her friend.
"How did it go?" Parvati asked.
"Better than I expected. Though I don't think I could that again."
"One can hope. Something tells me Weasley and Granger will be overheard plotting and confessing for the next six years."
"And people say I'm an airhead." Lavender glowered. "I make better grades than both of them and I know the privacy spells. Everyone, but them uses those spells. Seriously we all use those spells in the common room. How have they not noticed?" She ranted.
"Don't know, don't care. Their stupidity will make it easier to catch them. Did you know Colin Creevey told Dean Thomas that he overheard Ginny Weasley telling a blonde Ravenclaw that she's the future Lady Potter?"
"No I didn't know that." Lavender scoffed, then raised an eyebrow. "Really the future Lady Potter? The girl is eleven. We're twelve and we have no future marriages set. There must be something wrong with the Weasley family."
Parvati nodded in agreement. "I've noticed that the twins and Percy ignore the younger two. I've even seen them glare at Ron and Ginny, Hermione too."
"Hmm...maybe the older boys are separating themselves from the family."
"Maybe. Do you want me to braid your hair?" Parvati asked to change the subject.
"Sure, then I'll braid yours."
(*v*)
"Are you going to tell Severus?" Draco asked after Brown left.
"Yes, even though it won't make a difference."
"He can watch them during games and have Madam Hooch check the balls before each game." Marcus replied. "Speaking of, Hooch is suppose to check them before releasing them. Why didn't she do it that time?"
"I'll ask." Harry responded. He knew Dumbledore had to be involved. At least he had the confirmation that it was Granger and Weasley who tired to kill him.
Harry was going to get revenge when those two return to Hogwarts.
[1] I completely made up the meaning of wet dreams, though I don't know if what I said is true or not. Also the article Harry mentioned is made up as well.
