Year 3
Chapter 2

So far Harry was right about the interesting part. Defense was everyone's favorite class. All the third years, mostly Gryffindor and Slytherin were relieved about not having the Annoying Trio at school. Harry himself was thankful for that as well. He had learned that they received an additional six months to their house arrest and the house was a Fidelius Charm; Granger was placed at an Unspeakable's home. The adult Weasleys were given an additional year, it was two but Madam Bones changed it when their Veritaserum testimony proved useful. Lucius told him that Doge, Diggle, Vance, and Mad-Eye are now being hunted as well, the four were responsible for breaking everybody out. The Ministry now had to deal with trying to re-enforce the prison's wards on top of everything else. Harry told Lucius to go out to Nurmengard and ask Grindelwald how he built his prison and then ask the Goblins to ward Azkaban.

Harry had smiled to himself for days after. Wizarding Britain will soon learn about Dumbledore's relationship with Grindelwald.

At Draco's begging Harry tried out for the Seeker's position. Theo and Blaise were trying for Chaser and Keeper, they are going to try for both and let Pucey decide in the end. Crabbe and Goyle were going to try for Beaters, but will only be reserved players until next year.

Harry thought it would just be the team, Marcus, and Severus. Oh how wrong he was. Upon arriving to find the whole Slytherin House, Severus, his fathers, the Headmistress, the Governor, and two Aurors. His fathers and the Aurors he understood, but the Headmistress and the Governor confused.

"Why is everyone here?" He asked Marcus who was standing next to Adrian.

"The House is here to see if you are as good as Harry. Professor Snape is the Head so he comes to see how good the new players are. Snape invited McGonagall, word has it they bet on their teams every years against each other." Marcus smirked as Adrian and Draco snorted. "The Governor wants to make sure everyone is following the rules. The Aurors are here to protect us against Dementors and Dumbledore, if the man gets passed the gates. As for Black and Lupin I have no clue why they are here."

"Thanks." Harry smiled at the older boy. He knew his dads wanted to see him play.

"Alright." Adrian exclaimed to get everyone's attention. "Graybeck, you will lift off twenty seconds after the Snitch is released. First I want to see how well you can fly and do the maneuvers. Then you'll search for the Snitch. If you can catch it five times in a short amount of time, we'll then test how well you can do during a game. Got it?"

"Yeah." Harry nodded.

Tryouts took four hours to complete. Harry was the only one trying for the Seeker position, no one else wanted to tryout. Miles Bletchley was trying for Keeper, while Tracey Davis and Corvinus Vaisey were competing with Blaise and Theo for the position of Chaser. Everything will be determined by Pucey.

Pucey proved to be a capable Captain. They were worked hard, so hard they were exhausted by the end of it. In the end the team was able to find a balance and work together. The final results for the team was Miles Bletchley was Keeper, Blaise was reserved. Blaise wasn't too upset because he knew the Beaters target the Keeper first. Theo was Chaser with Corvinus Vaisey as his reserve. Theo was lighter weight and was able to move more quicker to dodge the Bludgers. Pucey kept Tracey Davis as a reserve for Terence Higgs. Archer Montague and Crispin Warrington stayed as the Beaters with Crabbe and Goyle as the reserve. At the last minute Pucey made second year Thaddeus Harper the reserve Seeker.

With everyone happy with their positions, they started their first practice with a pickup game. Harry made sure not to do all his usual moves. Both teams worked well together. Marcus was the referee of the game while giving the reserve players pointers, this brought Severus into being the second judge and Remus keeping score.

At the two hour mark, Harry caught the Snitch ending the game two-fifty to a hundred. The reserves had just score when he caught the golden ball.

Harry was excited to be playing Quidditch again. His aunt and Arabella would be happy to hear that he was doing something other than reading and school work. He was going to do his best to keep making them proud of him. Quidditch was also a common ground that he and Dudley talk about in every other letter.

"Everyone turn to page three hundred and ninety-four." Professor Lupin instructed the class. As expected every student exclaimed 'Werewolves'. Remus smiled, he was going to teach them differently than what the book has written.

Remus taught them the difference between rogues and pack wolves. Then explained the mate bond and what happens to a broken bond. He did teach them the spells needed to defend against a wolf attack, the right spells not the ones the Ministry has in the book that gets people turned or killed. The things he left out was the information on born wolves, a werewolf's weakness and what effect each lunar phase had on a wolf. At the end of the class he saw several changes in many of the students, though there were some Gryffindors who were sneering. Before releasing them he told them that next class they were going to learn about Boggarts.

"Professor Lupin is great." Blaise excitedly pronounced. "Way better than that idiot Lockhart."

"Wish Harry could be here for this." Theo missed his fellow bookworm.

"Harry will be back." Draco assured his friend. He shared a secret look with Harry. Draco knew it was killing Harry to keep the others in the dark.

Harry broke eye contact with Draco and bit his lip. Keeping silent is painful, he desperately wants to tell the others, but he doesn't want to risk their lives if someone breaks through their Occlumency shields.

"Mr. Graybeck?"

Harry turned at the sound of Severus' voice. "Yes, professor?"

"I would like to see you in my office after dinner."

"Yes, sir. Am I in trouble, sir?"

"No, Mr. Graybeck. I merely want to talk about how you are doing here."

"Of course, sir. I'll be there." Harry smiled.

"Stay out of trouble." He looked at all of them. They all nodded as he walked away.

For the rest of the day Harry and his friends talked about school. They went over the study schedule for Magical Theory. Theo and Harry shared their notes with Blaise and Draco. Harry gave Draco the notes for Arithmancy while Theo shared Runes with Blaise. By dinner the Slytherin House was following their example, even going as far as including the first and second years if they wanted a head start.

After dinner Harry knocked on Severus' door, entering when given permission. Once the wards were set, he rushed forward and hugged the man. Their first one since school started.

"I missed you, Sev." Harry whispered as his glamours fell.

"I missed you as well." Severus tightened his arms around his smaller mate.

For several long minutes they stood there hugging and soaking up the warmth of the other. Both were content to stay just like that. Harry was happy that he has someplace where he can be himself. Severus was satisfied with knowing Harry was safely in his arms. The older man had been worried about his mate all summer. They both had felt their bond being stretch and felt it snap into place and tighten the moment Harry stepped into the Great Hall that was the main reason for inviting Harry to his office.

When Severus felt Harry's body go limp he knew the teen was falling asleep. Carefully the older man carried the teen to the couch. He sat with Harry in his lap, carding his fingers through his black and tawny hair.

"Did you receive a headache that day?" Severus asked softly.

"Yes. It hurt so much I much I had to take a pain relief potion." Harry answered snuggling closer into Severus.

"I'm sorry I didn't think the bond would react that way."

"Don't be sorry. Neither of us knew. Did you solve the issue about the potion?"

Severus chuckled. "Yes. Turns out the who made the accusation stole the potion from someone else."

"That's really dishonorable. Did the Guild remove him?" Harry looked up at his mate.

"Yes. They were able to find the creator and make things right. The two men were removed and will be spending some in Azkaban." Severus explained. "Did you enjoy your summer?"

"I did. The pack was welcoming. They taught me a lot. Papa and I are getting along and our bond is firmly in place. Barbados was beautiful. Lucius bought the house we stayed in so we can return whenever we want. Draco and I found a lot of potion ingredients both common and uncommon. We also have some rare ingredients." Harry replied with a smile.

Severus let out a low laugh and shook his head. Leave it to his mate to hunt for potion ingredients while on vacation. "Did you at least have fun?"

"We did. The hunt was only done when our parents wanted time alone." Harry replied then went on to tell Severus everything they did on the island.

"I see. Well I'm glad to hear you were able to forget about everything for a little while."

"I am too." Harry fell silent, but after a few minutes he spoke again. "What are we going to do about the bond?"

"We'll just spend some time together like we're doing right now. We need to tell your parents because they'll be able to help. It would look suspicious if I keep asking you into my office."

"Okay. We'll tell them this weekend." Harry agreed.

By the time the weekend came around Harry was anxious. He was also so nervous he was ready to blurt everything out. The only thing that stopped him was the consequences if anyone were to find out. After all Harry and his family doesn't know if there are still Dumbledore followers in the school.

Saturday at breakfast Harry made sure to announce that he was going to study in the library. Draco was going to keep the others busy with a game of poker. He persuade them by adding Adrian so they could teach him and he could be Marcus' replacement.

Harry left his friends to go straight to his fathers' rooms. Severus was already in there. When he walked in the three of them were sitting and waiting for him. Harry dropped his glamours when the wards were up and made his way to Severus. He sat on the older man's lap, ignoring the questioning looks from his fathers.

"Severus, why did you ask to speak with us?" Remus spoke first.

"The bond between Harry and I reached it's limits over the summer. When he walked into the Great Hall it snapped back into place and tightened itself. Both Harry and I were given a headache, one so bad we had to take a pain relief potion." Severus answered honestly.

"We didn't know your bond was that strong." Sirius responded looking unsure .

"We didn't either." Harry replied. "I mean we knew it was strong, but not this strong since there is no intimacy between us except hugging and cuddling."

"What type of bonding did you do?" Sirius asked.

"One that ties us together body, magic, and soul. The first part is soul, the marriage tied our souls together. Our magic is together but the bond doesn't complete until we consummate the bonding. After that nothing can break us apart." Severus explained.

"I don't think its the bond, or the marriage bond at least." Remus replied. "I think its your wolf, cub. You two are unmated in the eyes of the wolf. The separation made the wolf uneasy and jittery. Combine it with the strong marriage bond that is incomplete caused this reaction."

"So we need to be careful not to be apart for long periods of time until the bonds are completed?" Harry responded.

"Yes, exactly." Remus nodded.

"Alright. Harry, you will spend time in my labs every other weekend. That way no one gets suspicious and our bonds get to settle."

"I can do that. Are you two okay with that?" Harry asked his fathers.

"Yes, but one of us will be there. No argument." Sirius answered sternly.

"You'll get none from me." Severus told the man.

"None from me either." Harry replied.

Harry stayed and talked to the older men a bit longer. He left them an hour before curfew. Knowing full well he spent the entire day with them.

By the time Halloween came around Severus and Harry had worked out a schedule. For an hour after dinner they were in the private potion lab or in Harry's fathers' room. Sometimes they used Severus' office hours. Their bond had stabilized, but neither wanted to tempt fate.

Several other things had happened in a month's time. Some of Dumbledore's followers were arrested, but when questioned none of them knew where the man was. Following that, the news of Sirius Black being at Hogwarts sparked an outrage from the Light side. Many didn't believe that the man was innocent, those people were the ones who supported Dumbledore. Those that did believe still didn't want their children in school with an ex-convict. So within a week various Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs were pulled from the school. The majority was Gryffindors.

Not long after the new of Sirius came the news of Dumbledore sightings. Each article showed that the former Headmaster was spotted close to Hogsmeade and Hogwarts. Severus, Sirius, and Remus kept a close eye on Harry; despite the fact that the teen was currently under glamours and a new name. Draco made sure that Harry was never alone, even when he was in the bathroom. Harry found the whole thing annoying, but none of them would listen. Not even when he told them that protecting him will give him away and Dumbledore will know right away that Romulus Graybeck was Harry Lupin-Black. They just said they weren't going to take any chances.

On Halloween there was a Quidditch game, Gryffindor against Slytherin. The game was going on like normal. Gryffindors were closely behind the Slytherins. One could say they were evenly matched for the first time.

Harry kept away from the game as much as possible. He didn't want to be anywhere near a Bludger, not after what had happened last year. It may may have been Granger that cursed the thing, but Dumbledore was free and he was the one who gave her the book. He knew he was someone else, had a different face. It wouldn't stop Dumbledore from attacking him to see if he knew anything about Harry Potter. Better not tempt fate.

The Snitch was spotted by the Gryffindor Seeker. Harry rushed after the other teen. They went head to head going straight up towards the clouds. All of a sudden a thunder storm started and the temperature dropped to freezing. The Gryffindor Seeker turned around and went back. Harry's hand had just clasped around the golden ball when three Dementors got close.

For the second time in his life Harry was scared. Vernon's attack was and will always be fresh in his mind. Shaking the thoughts away he put the Snitch in his pocket as he turned his broom away from the Dementors. The teen didn't get far before they started attacking. All happy feeling left him, Harry felt his body temperature drop. It felt like his soul was leaving his body. He knew what Dementors were, what they did, but to actually feel it was terrifying. With one last conscious thought Harry released his hold on his broom. He decided to free fall, letting gravity get him away faster. After that Harry black out and was forced to relive the night his parents died.

Draco watched in terror as his best friend was falling from the sky. He rushed as quickly as he could praying to Mother Magic that he got there in time. The blond didn't notice the Slytherin team was doing the same thing. Nor did he notice that the teachers were fighting off the Dementors. His sole focus was on Harry.

There was a burst of speed in his broom that allowed him to catch Harry. Draco barely had time to brace for the impact, but with the help from Montague and Warrington he was able to stay on his broom and keep a hold of Harry.

Draco immediately went to Severus who had Sirius and Remus next to him. Severus took Harry and rushed him to the castle. The Potion Master took him to the Infirmary and started treating Harry right away. Madam Pomfrey was held back by the Governor, who reminding the woman that Severus was a Medi-Wizard. The Governor had been informed about Dumbledore's hold on the Medi-Witch. So there was always in the hospital wing to keep an eye on the woman.

Harry woke to find half the Slytherin House, his mate, his fathers, McGonagall, the Governors, Aurors, and Madam Pomfrey, all staring at him. He groaned as he sat up, the others watched him carefully. His papa handed him a piece of chocolate with a smile.

"Mr. Graybeck, can you tell us what happened?" The Auror asked.

"I had just caught the Snitch when the Dementors appeared. At first I thought I could out fly them but they started attacking. I felt them trying to remove my soul. So I let go of my broom and decided to free fall. I must have blacked out cause that's all I remember."

"Thank you, Mr. Graybeck. Your teammates Draco Malfoy, Crispin Warrington, and Archer Montague saved you from the fall. The teachers kept the Dementors away." Another Auror spoke.

"Why were they so close to the school?" Harry gave them a confused look.

"Dumbledore had been spotted at the gates. The Dementors were going after him, but turned around to get to the game. All the excitement called to them. Dumbledore left when the Dementors near to Forest and Hogsmeade got close." The Governor answered.

Harry nodded and looked at Severus. "Can I go? I'm starving."

"Absolutely not!" Pomfrey spoke up, her voice was stern. "You will stay here until I release you."

Severus ignored the woman. "Come along, Mr. Graybeck. I'll escort you to the Great Hall."

"He is staying here!" Madam Pomfrey yelled as she stepped in front of Severus. This was her hospital wing they followed her rules.

"No I'm not. I feel fine now. All I want to do is eat then sleep." Harry snapped at the woman. He knew Dumbledore still had a hold on her. The old goat's breakout prevented anyone from taking her to Gringotts to get purged.

Everyone followed Harry out of the Infirmary and straight to the Great Hall. The other three houses were enjoying the Halloween Feast. Well the Gryffindors were enjoying it until Harry handed the Snitch to Headmistress McGonagall. She then announced that Slytherin won the game. The Gryffindors cried out that the Snitch was a fake. Madam Hooch tested the ball declaring that it was real and was the Hogwart's Snitch. The Slytherin House cheered and celebrated.

On the way to the dungeons the Slytherins were stopped by the Baron. He ushered them into an unused classroom while the Friar went to get the teachers. Fifteen minutes later the teachers, Governor, and Aurors entered the room.

"Baron, will you kindly explain?" McGonagall asked the ghost.

"The painting was destroyed. I put the children in here for protection. Peeves informed me that a cloaked figure was seen going toward the dorm. He couldn't get a look at the face. The snakes and their owner fled the portrait just before the person burned the painting. Peeves left to get me so he doesn't know if the person entered the dorm or not."

"Thank you, Baron." McGonagall turned to the Aurors. "Will you please check the dorms. Pomona, you and Filius need to guard your own House. Have your Prefects help. Tell them they are excused from classes in the morning. Remus, please do the same for Gryffindor. Sirius, please search the castle. You know it better than anyone." She ordered firmly.

The other professors and the Governor watched everyone leave. Severus waited until the door was closed. "Minerva, we'll move the students to the Potion lab. Its better and I can protect them easier. The other professors need to ward areas around the other dorms." He quickly made out a list of wards, borderline dark wards. Then he handed it over.

"You are right." She turned to the others with a list of wards they needed. She duplicated the list and handed them out to each remaining professor. "Governor McMillan, what else do you suggest?"

"You have everything covered. I'll call for more Aurors. They'll patrol the corridors."

"Thank you. Please inform them that the Grim is Sirius Black."

"I will."

"Well lets get the students settled for the night." She told Severus.

The Slytherins followed the teachers to the lab. They watched their Head of House remove the work stations. McGonagall transfigured the stools into beds and blank parachment into blankets and pillows. A privacy screen was set up to separate the males from females.

Severus waited until Minerva left before warding the room, using darker warding spells than the ones he gave the other professors. Once the students were asleep he had Harry add Parselwards. Under a notice-me-not, placed by him, was Harry and Draco clinging to each other in sleep. Each protecting the other.

By two, Sirius and Remus appeared. They reported that no one was found. Sirius informed Severus that a scent was found in one of the tunnels but he didn't recognize it and told the Aurors. He and Remus warded all the tunnels they knew and even warded the Room of Requirements. Sirius used the dark ward spells that his family had created over the years. Even used a spell that blocked a person's magic when they try to use it, it was similar to the one used in the Wizengamot court rooms and voting chamber, only this one can't be reverse for a full year.

Severus thanked them quietly. He let them under the charm, understanding that they needed to be with Harry. He felt jealous that he couldn't do the same. But knowing he was standing guard helped a little.

At five he woke Sirius and Remus. The fathers reluctantly left their son and went to their own room. Severus woke his students an hour later to shower and change. Everyone in Slytherin was on guard. The sixth and seventh years escorted the first and second years. Third, fourth, fifth stayed in large groups. The school was told the truth at breakfast. The other houses protected their own like the Slytherins.

Harry knew it was Dumbledore. The destroyed portrait didn't look like a common incendio. And Dumbledore has been in the school long enough to know some of the ins and outs. The man just showed how delusional he was, how he still thought people wouldn't oppose him.

Emmeline Vance shrieked in pain as Albus Dumbledore cast a high powered stinging hex at her. Dumbledore was furious that his mission to steal the exchange student had failed. He wanted the boy to question him and to be his little bed warmer. At least until he finds Argus and Harry. Another thing that pissed him off. His Argus wasn't at the school, Albus was going to kill whoever took him and hid him.

All the recent events has put him on the edge. He was ready to kill several people. There was no way to get answers on how long Sirius has been free, who helped Harry survive long enough to receive treatment in Switzerland, and he had no one to find Argus. Albus wanted Argus more than he wanted the two teens. He wanted to do the bonding and de-aging ritual with Argus. It was time to get his Argus pregnant with his children.

The former Headmaster hated that everyone but Moody, Vance, Diggle, Doge, Jones, Podmore, and Selwyn turned against him. Moody, Vance, and Jones weren't allowed inside the Ministry. Podmore was being hunted. Diggle and Doge had to go into hiding with him. Selwyn, well Dumbledore didn't trust the man. The only ones he trusted were Molly and Arthur. Both were in Azkaban, again, because they were stupid enough to go to Diagon after getting the children. He had even ordered them to get the brats and join him, but no they just had to go out in a crowded public Alley and start a confrontation with Lucius fucking Malfoy. Albus was going to make them all regret that decision the first chance he gets.

All his plans were getting ruined by his idiot pawns. Albus had wanted to glamour the brats and send them back to Hogwarts. Have them kidnap the exchange student and gain information. Fury overtook him again, he fired off more stinging hexes at everyone in the room. To top it all off Vernon Dursley fled after attacking Harry. Albus knew the man went searching for Petunia, so he let it go. He needed to know where the bitch and Arabella are so he could personally kill them. Well he would make Petunia watch him destroy Harry before killing her. And Arabella will be forced to witness him bond to Argus and get him pregnant. It will be just like when they were children.

"Find a way to kidnap Harry and that exchange student." He ordered them, his voice promising death if the failed.

Before anyone moved an owl flew into the room. Dumbledore took the Prophet from the bird before killing it. He wasn't taking any chance of the bird having trackers on it.

Opening the paper he howled in rage.

Grindelwald Released from Nurmengard
Former Dark Lord tells Ministry everything.

You read the title right, dear readers. I was given the privilege to write this article. Read carefully, you don't want to miss a single word.

It seems shortly after the re-arrest of Molly and Arthur Weasley, Lucius Malfoy requested that the Unspeakables question Grindelwald about the wards of Nurmengard. They approved the request only to improve Azkaban after all the breakouts. The Unspeakables, Aurors, Madam Bones, and Rufus Scrimgeour went to the infamous prison.

First they noticed that Albus Dumbledore's famous quote 'For the Greater Good' was on the gate. Why? Well keep reading. Next the Unspeakables did a magic reading and a spell to see what wards were in place. The magic of the prison was mostly done by Albus Dumbledore. They found that the former Headmaster had control of the wards.

After an hour of searching they found Gellert Grindelwald. His cell was big and furnished for comfort. The former Dark Lord even had books and a potion work station. Amelia Bones, upon Grindelwald's consent gave the man Veritaserum.

There they learned that there had been no duel between him and Dumbledore. Seems that Dumbledore put a body bind on Grindelwald after sneaking into his home. Grindelwald told the group that Dumbledore raped him before putting him in Nurmengard. The Ministry group learned that Dumbledore would visit Grindelwald multiple times a year. Dumbledore would rape Grindelwald several times during each visit then leave a gift before leaving the prison. Grindelwald confessed to aborting every child conceived. He didn't want the child to be raised by a rapist.

Grindelwald was freed and placed in an unknown hospital. The man will receive treatment by a Healer and Mind Healer. Nurmengard was destroyed after the Unspeakables recorded the wards.

There it is, dear readers, the truth of who Albus Dumbledore really is. Who else is a victim of this man's evil deeds? The Ministry request for everyone to go to St. Mungo's to see a Mind Healer. I wish everyone the best of luck and offer my sincerest apologies in advance to everyone who learns the truth.

Albus burned the paper. He thought up of plans to destroy and kill Gellert. How dare that man kill his children! How dare he consent to Veritaserum! He was going to make the man pay for everything, then he will kill Gellert's aunt.

The list of people he was going to kill was getting longer by the day. Harry, Tom, Severus, and now Gellert were at the top of the list.
