"Rose and Blaze are going to be fine. Rose is going to experience some post-poison sickness for a bit, but other than that, she'll make a full recovery." A florges explained to the group of six after she exited the room where the ice and fairy type were resting. Seeing the group collectively sigh in relief, the doctor gave a nod to her chansey companion before continuing on her way.

"Chans!" The feral pokemon gave a wave before rejoining the florges.

"It's weird seeing feral Pokémon and not civilized Pokémon working here." Blitz couldn't help but comment.

"Post-poison sickness?" Eli tilted her head.

"It's something us fairy types can suffer from after getting poisoned. It's nothing serious, she's probably going to feel like she's hungover for the rest of the day." Lexia explained, scratching the back of her head.

"Have you been hungover before?" Blitz questioned, looking over to her.

"I'll have you know that it was a dare!" Just as the group was about to make their way into the room, Blaze instead met them at the door.

"Blaze? Shouldn't you be resting?" Sear asked, a look of concern plastered on his face.

"Hm?" She hummed, looking down at the small rabbit. "Nah, I'm feeling better already. I don't want to spend the rest of my day in this miserable place."

"Same honestly." Rose stated from behind the similarly tall ice type. The tallest girl of the group was leaning against the door frame with a hand to her head. "I'd rather be resting in my bed till I get over this." Her body convulsed as she suppressed the urge to vomit. "Preferably next to a trash can." The fairy type said with a groan.

All in agreement, the group made their way out of the poke center, but had to step out of the way as a pair of SCU officers wheeled the savage nidoking past them. The savage was thrashing about, trying to get out of a pair of inhibitor cuffs.

"Did they treat the savage here?" Ivy asked no one in particular, but Aquari shrugged either way.

"Wonder if Wren is still around." The shiny gardevoir wondered aloud. As they made their way out of the building, they saw that there were plenty more SCU officers around, one of which was Wren, talking to a nidoqueen.

"Ma'am, you're soiling my uniform with your tears." The absol stated, the nidoqueen clinging to her and crying profusely. Realizing what she was doing, the blue Pokémon pulled away, apologizing. "I understand you're upset, but there isn't anything we can do for him until we can figure out what's making Pokémon go savage."

"O-okay. Can I-I at least see him?" The nidoqueen sniffled. Wren considered her request before nodding her head.

"Azel. She wants to see him. Make sure she's safe." She called out to another officer, who nodded his head before escorting the woman towards the detained savage. Seeing that Wren was done speaking to the nidoqueen, she motioned for the group to follow her to meet the absol. That was, until another pokemon interrupted them.

"Lexia!" A somewhat deep but feminie voice cried out. Before the gardevoir could comprehend what was happening and teleport to safety, she found herself being lifted off the ground and into a pair of black arms with yellow sleeves. Everyone was startled as very tall luxray practically appeared out of nowhere. Sear received the worst shock, trying to back up to avoid being kicked by a red running shoe, but lost his footing and fell backwards. As he regained his senses, he found himself lying in between two very large, pink furred paws.

"Probably not the safest way to say hi, Sear." Looking further up, the fire rabbit was met with a familiar large brown face of Rae. "Especially when I have the nickname 'Bigpaw'." She chuckled, to which Sear could only nervously agree.

"I'm so glad you're okay! I heard that there was a savage attack near the coffee shop you went to!" The 6'4" shiny luxray exclaimed, gently swinging Lexia in her arms, her spiky, side ponytail bobbing side to side. Said gardevoir was practically clawing at the yellow sleeves of the jacket the taller girl wore, her legs comically swinging about in an attempt to get free, her boots occasionally kicking the jeans of the luxray.

"Another giant…" Aquari said in awe, staring at the yellow and black pokemon. Blaze gave her a strange look. While all of this was happening, Wren was watching all the chaos unfold, electing to not help her friend being strangled via hug. Blitz and Ivy were looking at each other, trying to figure out what was going on, and Rose was still preoccupied with feeling sick.

"Gah- Sandy!" Lexia eventually managed to yell out. "I'm fine, let me go!" She struggled more, pushing against the orange t-shirt under the jacket Sandy wore. The yellow and black Pokémon relented, letting her smaller friend go from her grasp.

"She looks scary." Ivy whispered to Blitz, taking note of the seemingly angry expression Sandy had plastered on her face. Eli had taken to hiding behind their legs.

"Amusing." Wren commented, making her way towards the exasperated gardevoir, though her face lacked any indication that she was even remotely amused by the events that unfolded.

"Yeah, I'm sure it was." Lexia grumbled. "Thanks for the help by the way." Sandy couldn't help but giggle.

"I don't know, you seemed to have handled it quite well on your own." Rae commented as she too made her way towards the group, Sear jogging behind her to keep up with her long strides.

"Holy shit…" Blaze silently gasped, seeing the towering lopunny for the first time. Lexia scrunched her face into a pout, before Sandy put an arm on her head.

"C'mon, you can't blame me for being worried." She smirked as the gardevoir fumed.

"Another one of your friends?" Sear asked Rae, who nodded in response.

"Yup. Hey, Sandy, Wren!" She called out to the girls, gaining their attention. "This is Sear! The cinderace I told you about!" The taller bunny gestured to him, who gave a friendly wave. Almost in an instant, the tall luxray was in Sear's face, startling him.

"Holy crap, you really are small." Sandy stated, squatting to be closer to eye level with him. However, Wren pulled her back by her tail, gaining a yelp of surprise from the luxray.

"Don't be weird." The shorter absol said as she pulled Sandy to her side, who gave her a mock pout.

"Don't worry, they might look scary, but they're both really nice." Rae squatted next to Sear.

"That's Sear's girlfriend." Aquari said to her siblings and Eli. Sear's face quickly turned beat red, gaining a look of confusion from Rae. In the next moment, Blaze was quickly at Aquari's side. The vaporeon squeaked in shock, feeling a cold hand on her back.

"Don't be weird." She said through gritted teeth, spreading some ice to her siblings back, making her shutter both from fear and the cold.

"Y-yep. Girlfriend. Girl who is a friend. Nothing more, nothing less." The water type forced out a smile. The tall lopunny looked up, even more confused while Lexia eyed the group with a raised eyebrow. Suddenly, Sear found himself being hoisted up by a white feeler, quickly realizing that it was Rose behind him.

"Don't mind them. They like to cause problems." She stated to Rae, lifting the small fire bunny onto a sitting position on her shoulder, her ribbon like feelers supporting him. Sear couldn't help but feel grateful. Even while suffering from post-poison sickness, Rose was still there to support him.

"You make us sound like we're a bunch of baddies!" Ivy cried out.

"Aren't you the one that sprayed fart spray at Sear's house though?" Eli pointed out, to which Ivy started whistling with feigned innocence, refusing to look the raichu in the eye.

"You guys have fart spray?" Sandy asked, her eyes sparking with mischief as Lexia had a look of fear in her eye.

"Anyway." Rose rolled her eyes, doing her best to ignore an oncoming headache. "I don't think we've properly met yet. I'm Rose, owner of Cafe Silver. You're Rae, right? Lexia's friend?" She offered her hand as Rae stood back to her full height. Even at his higher vantage point, the shiny Pokémon still towered over him and Rose.

"Yup! You're one of Sear's friends, right?" Rae responded as she took the fairy type's hand, her hand practically able to engulf Rose's comparatively smaller hand. Rose nodded her head.

"And these are my siblings, Blaze, Ivy, Aquari, and Blitz. And this is Eli, the raichu." She informed, gesturing to each appropriate Pokémon, each making their acquaintance.

"Sooo…" Ivy strolled up to the tall luxray, followed by Aquari and Blitz, gaining her attention. "You seemed interested in us having fart spray."

"Oh dear god." Blaze and Lexia muttered fearfully. In the ice type's mind, the terrible trio was on its way to becoming a quartet, and in the fairy and psychic type's mind, Sandy had just found three new chaos buddies

"Nice to meet you all." Rae smiled. "And these are my friends, Sandy, the mildly to severely troublesome luxray," she joked, gaining a raspberry from said luxray, "Wren, the absol and also disturbingly brutal SCU chief," Wren simply shrugged her shoulders, knowing Rae wasn't wrong, "and of course, the shorty is Lexia. But I think you already knew that."

"I'm only the shortest by two inches!" Lexia said defensively.

"Three. The boots add an inch give or take." Wren stated, almost coldly.

"Screw you!"

"The height complex is still cute." Aquari giggled.

"Did I do something to deserve this today?!"

"Calm down, Bighands, it's not that serious." Sandy couldn't hold back her chuckles.

"Her hands are kind of big, huh?" Ivy wondered out loud as the electric type brought attention to them. The blue gardevoir was seething with rage at this point. Rae walked over before ruffling Lexia's hair.

"Alright alright. She's had enough for one day." Rae smirked, gaining a grumble from her friend, the gardevoir working on fixing her hair. She lifted Aquari in the air via her psychic ability, the water type trying to sneak up on her.

"No! Let me compare!" She flailed about, having tried to compare her hands to the gardevoir's. The shiny Pokémon rolled her eyes, levitating her away before readjusting her headband.

"Back to what I wanted to do in the first place. Wren." She called out. "The savage, why was he treated in the Pokémon center?"

"In case he comes back to his senses after waking up." Wren stated, as if it was common knowledge. This gained her confused looks. She sighed. "I can understand everyone else not really knowing about savages, but you Lexia?"

"What?! You don't even know everything about them!"

"You do pay attention when I talk about my job, right?" The absol raised an eyebrow, to which Lexia tried to stutter out a response before failing miserably.

"Is it alright for you to be talking about your job though?" Rose inquired, to which Wren gave another shrug.

"Even if it isn't, they can't fire me. I'm too valuable to them." This sort of cocky statement would normally be expected to be accompanied by a smirk, but the girl's face was still stone cold. "Moving on. Like Lexia said, we still don't know absolutely everything about savages. We don't know what causes Pokémon to go on a rampage. There's no pattern concerning age, gender, species or otherwise. There's no evidence on whether or not it's a mental thing, an environmental cause, or even if this is some sort of substance or drug.

"What we do know is that there seems to be signs when a Pokémon is about to go savage. For example, the nidoking- Zale is his name by the way. His coworkers described him as being distant today. He was barely acknowledging anyone that tried to talk or interact with him, and seemed to be walking about almost in a daze. Soon enough, out of nowhere, he started rampaging, attacking anyone he saw."

"That's so scary." Eli shuddered, stepping closer to Rose.

"His wife said he was perfectly normal yesterday, nothing out of the ordinary. As for why he was treated here, some savages wake up, back to normal after falling unconscious after battle. They only remember bits and pieces of their rampage though and the moments leading up to it."

"So, do you just keep beating Pokémon unconscious until they return to normal?" Blaze asked.

"No. If a Pokémon doesn't calm down after waking back up, there's nothing that can be done for them. They simply stay savage at that point, and we don't have any way to turn them back yet. There's been no medicine, no treatment, nor any moves that have calmed a savage down. The best thing we can do, for the safety of both the savage and civilians, is to hold them in containment until something can be done for them."

"Damn…" Blitz muttered, taking in the grim reality of savages. No one else knew what to say, but the silence was soon broken by the sound of Rose deeply inhaling.

"S-sorry." She apologized sheepishly, though miserably, setting Sear down to the ground as well. "I don't think I can handle this sickness for much longer. I'm going to head home to rest. You guys can enjoy the rest of your day without me for now. Go ahead and call me if you need a ride back home." She said, directing the last part to her siblings before heading towards her car.

"I should head out too, I need to fill out some paperwork." Wren notified the group, before turning on her heel and heading back to her SCU car, giving out some commands to any of her subordinates still in the area.

"So, uh, what now?" Aquari spoke up, gaining everyone's attention. Sandy was quick to offer a solution.

"Ooh! What if we take them to our hangout spot?" She looked over to Rae and Lexia, waiting for their answer on the subject. The shinies had a look of consideration.

"Honestly it's not a bad idea. It's a pretty big place just for the four of us." Rae mused.

"Even with your ass filling the place up." Lexia smirked, gaining a dirty look from her taller friend.

"I will taze you." She threatened, emphasizing it was some low thunder echoing from clouds that had formed overheard. Eli shuddered as some sparks arched out from her cheeks.

"Ow!" Sear yelped, more so in surprise rather than pain as some of Eli's own electricity zapped him. The small electric type ferociously apologized.

"C'mon! Let's go!" Sandy said, shaking Lexia by the shoulders.

"Alright, alright!" The blue gardevoir cried out, wiggling out of the luxray's grasp. "We can take them in our cars. Rae, I'm guessing you're just going to sprint there?"

"Like always!" Rae smiled.

"Cool, Sandy, where's your car?"

. . . . .

"Woah…" Ivy gaped at the sight. The group was driven to a large, open field. In front of them was a large warehouse, the remains of a gate surrounding it.

"This is where you guys hang out?" Sear asked, to which Sandy nodded.

"Yep! We came across this old, abandoned warehouse not too long ago, and since then, we've been working on turning it into a proper hang out spot."

"Rae actually managed to track down the original owner and bought it off him." Lexia chimed in, just as said lopunny skidded into the scene. "Looks like we beat you here this time." The gardevoir smirked.

"Look," Rae huffed, slightly out of breath. "I may have collided into someone on my way here. Funnily enough, I think it was that same prick from the other day."

"The theivul? Ven or whatever?"

"Pretty sure. He was instantly knocked out when I ran into him though. Also, it looked like he just climbed out of a pool or something. The guy was soaked." Blaze stifled a chuckle.

"Is that a conduit generator?" Eli noticed a generator by the side of the building as she, Ivy and Sear entered the gated area. The generator was large, most of its inner workings hiding behind the yellow casing. Two lightning rod like protrusions jutted out from the top.

"Sure is." Sandy nodded as she followed the group.

"Aren't those super expensive?" Blitz tilted his head. Lexia shrugged at his question.

"We pulled our money together to buy it. It did take a lot, but we pretty much pay no money on electricity for this place now."

"I'm planning on getting some solar panels installed too, so not only do we pay for absolutely no electricity, but we can also make some profit from the excess." Rae stated.

"Hm. Nice." Blaze said with a nod, genuinely impressed.

"Ooh! You've got a river nearby!" An excited Aquari ran past the ice type, taking note of the river outlining a forest. She dumped a jacket on the taller girl, leaving her momentarily stunned. The water type stripped off her clothes with impressive speed, rushing towards the water before leaping into the air and diving into the water. A moment later, the vaporeon jumped up from the water, her legs having been replaced with a larger version of her tail, giving her the appearance of a mermaid.

"Damn nudist…" Blaze grumbled, peeling the article of clothing off of her as Aquari splashed back into the river. Her sister popped back up, leaning on the edge of the water.

"Oh shut it, it's not like you can see anything anyway." She stuck her tongue out. She was gaining looks from the shinies, but Aquari didn't didn't care.

"Is anyone else impressed with how fast she took everything off?" Sandy asked, picking up a discarded boot.

"Uh, sure, impressed…" Lexia muttered, stepping over a pair of leggings.

"Vaporeons lose their legs when swimming?" Rae asked as she, the eeveelutions, Sear and Eli walked up to the waterlogged pokemon.

"It's a choice really, I chose to go with the tail though. It helps with swimming." She explained with a splash of her tail being mindful of Sear and Blitz.

"How does that work?" Eli asked.

"I can rearrange the water molecules in my body when I'm in water, which allows me to basically become a liquid. I use that ability to make myself look like this."

"You make yourself look like a naked mermaid." Ivy crossed her arms as she looked down on the water type. Said vaporeon casted her a look before jumping up and grabbing her legs. "NO YOU BI-!" The grass type tried to cry out, but was pulled into the water below.

"Ivy's dead, time to hold a funeral." Blitz said in a completely serious tone, making Sandy burst out laughing. Moments later, the aforementioned grass type crawled out of the water, with Aquari raising her head up, a look of innocence plastered on her face.

"Damnit, you know I hate taking off my clothes in public!" The shivering Ivy yelled, gaining an evil laugh from her sister.

"You don't have to though?" Rae stated, raising an eyebrow as the smaller girl started taking off her cardigan.

"It's too cold! I'm not going to walk around with cold ass clothes in this cold ass weather!" She retorted, kicking off her shoes.

"You know we have climate control inside?" Lexia chimed in, pointing a thumb at the warehouse as Ivy pulled off her shirt and started squeezing the water out.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot about the warehouse!" Aquari exclaimed, crawling out of the water, her tail turning back into a pair of legs. She shook off a bunch of the water that clung to her fur, gaining a shriek of dismay from her grass type sister as the water sprayed onto her. "Let's go!" She said excitedly, her fur puffed out by her attempt to dry herself.

"Are you going to put your clothes back on?" Rae asked, watching as the water type walked by her, picking up some clothes on the way.

"Later, once I dry off more." She smiled, collecting her boots from Sandy. Rae had a questioning look as she looked back towards Sear, who could only shrug.

"She's… she's something." He said, unable to make sense of her either. The giant lopunny couldn't help but chuckle at his response.

"Your friends seem fun. Strange, but fun."

"You don't know half of it." The small cinderace rolled his eyes, smiling.

"At least they all get along." Rae looked on towards the group heading towards the warehouse. Eli, Blaze and Lexia were conversing with each other, while the trouble making trio were talking with Sandy. Ivy seemed to be debating on taking off the rest of her clothes in an attempt to get dry, all the while Aquari was taunting her. Blitz was joking about drying her off with fire. Sandy was even encouraging the idea.

"Can't say I'm not concerned about Sandy with those three though." Rae put a hand to her head.

"Like they needed to find someone else with their antics in mind." The fire rabbit stated, his mind racing with the possible pranks they can pull and shenanigans they can get into. Rae nodded.

"Yeah." She turned back towards the smaller rabbit pokemon. "Want to hop on? I want to show you our place." Rae offered, extending a hand down to Sear. The white and red fire type's cheeks turned a slight tinge of red, but it thankfully went unnoticed by the larger Pokémon.

"S-sure." He stuttered a bit as Rae lowered herself to the ground, her hands ready to lift the fire type up. The little white Pokémon awkwardly stepped onto her hands, his small paws more than comfortably fitting in her large hands.

"Going up, careful." Rae began to slowly lift Sear up, standing up as she did so. She then moved him towards her head, encouraging Sear to step onto her shoulders and sit. The small rabbit quickly realized that her head was too tall to see over, and instead had to look past the side of it. "And a little bit of this." Once Sear was seated comfortably, Rae took her ears and wrapped them across Sear's back, making a pseudo seatbelt for her small friend.

"Ready?" She asked, holding onto her brown and pink ears like a backpack. Sear gave a small nod, though Rae was unable to see it, but she felt his cheek rubbing against hers. It was at that moment that the fire rabbit realized how close he was to Rae's face. His blush intensified, his body heating up. "Hold on tight!"

"W-wait, what do you-" Before he could fully ask, Rae took off with immense speed, causing Sear to yelp in surprise and cling to the brown rabbit's head least he be blown away. Rae sprinted towards the group, who turned around when they heard the impeding footsteps of the giant lopunny. They cried out in surprise as the normal type leapt over their heads with minimum effort.

"Are you some sort of psychopath?!" Blaze cried out, to which Rae did a short hop, turning around and winking before turning back and running towards the warehouse.

"Try dealing with her for years, then you'll get your answer." Lexia muttered, standing up from ducking.

"Wonderful. Like I don't have a crazy enough life from my siblings." The ice type grumbled.
