"Did you not hear me? I said move!" The paladin's voice boomed. Quickly, the soldiers stumbled over each other as they tried to run away. Shields and chain mail clinking as they bumped and scrambled over each other and away from the scene. The mass pile of sludge that was Rikke bubbled and pulsated as it grew in size. I couldn't let this thing hurt anyone, I had to act. But I am not going anywhere near that thing.
"Fus Laas Bo!" (Force Life Sky) I watched as my shout enveloped the mass of… whatever it is, levitating it in mid air. "Yol Strun!" (Fire Storm) Fire burst out of my mouth in waves and the mass screeched and stretched til blood started to seep through its creases of mass. I continued to breath fire onto it until the unworldly banshee-like noise stopped. Eventually it did, I was tired and my throat hurt like Oblivion itself was gnawing at it. I panted as I collapsed onto my back. A few feet away the strange paladin watched me with an amused look.
"That was some impressive use of the Thu'um, friend. My name is Siigon, paladin of the Order of the Dragon. A friend sent me." I didn't respond. My head was throbbing as if a shade was trying to possess me, my whole body was numb and my eyes were slowly dropping.
"Hey. You don't look so good." He said worryingly. He turned his head towards the palace as if someone was there. "Lily!" He yelled. My vision was fading as he spoke. "The Dragonborn needs our aid. We must hurry." Soon I saw another paladin like Siigon come into my blurred view. She picked me up in her arms and smiled down at me. I felt like a small hatching at that moment, but her touch felt so good. I got a small nostalgic feeling of when my mother or father would carry me to my room after Inigo and Derk played outside too long. I was brought back to reality when they started moving.
"For light and honor, Siigon. We must..." The words faded as I finally drifted into unconsciousness.
In his personal grounds of Skuldafin, Alduin sat on his hunches alone with his claws tucked in on himself and his eyes closed. If one were to walk in on him, they would laugh for his poster of how a cat sleeps. But here it was no one around to bother him because of the tall mountains that surrounded his domain. Only dragons could find this place but non dared to disturb him when he was in this mood. This is one of the last locations for mating for dragons. It used to be swarming with dov young and old. They ranged from all different varieties too. He doesn't have a mate, nor does he want one. He comes here to meditate. Because here, no one can find him. Until he starts resurrecting dragons again that is. He has been meditating on something that has been troubling him ever since the Dragonborn arrived. He hasn't received much sleep in these past few days, nor has he killed anyone since his return from the Kel. His time in the Elder Scroll felt like a second to him, yet it also felt like an eternity as well. He is unfamiliar with the things around him and everyone seems much more… happier without him or the other dragons. Certainly not like it was when dragons and mortals worked together. Which is just adding to his growing depression.
"Why do you sit here alone?" A beautiful voice said from behind him. Alduin sighed. He knew she would come here eventually. He got up and turned around.
"I said leave me be." He mumbled as he walked towards the speaker.
"I will never leave you, you are my son. Your father already left us long ago. And now you are the only thing I have left." His temper was rising, he gritted his teeth together. "I just don't want..." Alduin roared at his mother, interrupting her complaining. He roared so loud that his throat started to hurt. He roared til his voice cracked. He roared until his roar turned to a cry of pain. But not the physical kind of pain, oh no. It was the deep, emotional kind that builds up for long periods of time. And for him, it was a very… long… time. Alduin, the World Eater, conqueror of men and gods alike, ran up to his mother and cried in her embrace. Mara. The Goddess of Love. She simply held him there, humming a melodic tune to ease Alduin's pain.
"I don't want to live in this world anymore. I don't want to be alone." He cried quietly. Mara continued to stroke her son's head as he spoke. "I failed to destroy this world and instead tried to rule it. I wanted to be like my father. And I failed. I tried to eradicate those foolish Deadric princes, but they just come back to mock me. And now the Dovahkiin comes to fulfill his destiny in facing me in a grand battle. But he will not even acknowledge me. You were right. You were always right." She perked her head up and stopped stoking. She hummed to ask what he meant. "My failure is HIS fault." She sighed and resumed her stroking.
"No Alduin... it's mine." He lifted his head and turned his neck to look at her, waiting for her to continue. "I've had nineteen years to think things over, and Akatosh was right. I gave you everything you ever wanted and you became this way because of me. I was too soft on you and because of it you strayed from YOUR destiny." A tear fell from her eye and she wiped it away. She sniffled. "Ironically, he has been acting as the father of that young boy, the Dragonborn. And is the Emperor of that Empire that follows both of their leadership. People say he is one of the best rulers to date." Alduin almost immediately snapped to attention.
"What!" He screamed. He got off of Mara and sat on his hunches again. But not like an adorable cat this time, more like a dog. "What else do you know? Tell me!" Mara sighed.
"Okay." She paused, deep in thought. "While you were trapped, we had several arguments on how we raised you, what we did right and wrong. You know the rest. He left because of me. Because I wasn't a good mother." Alduin listened patiently, but he wanted to know what the connection between his father and the Dragonborn was. "Akatosh left Aetherius and arrived in Nirn where he found Diinmaar, the Argonian. He adopted the child as his own instinctively. He felt like he could do better, it's in his nature after all to care for his young. And losing you took a large tole on him. And Diinmaar filled the void. Later he found an Argonian mate by the name of Keerava. One who holds more beauty and compassion than even I." Alduin stood up abruptly and stood face to face with her.
"Impossible!" He yelled. "No mortal can match a divine's beauty. Not even the lesser dov." Mara chuckled.
"That's where you are wrong. They raised Diinmaar and his brother as normal mortals would. His brother is Derkeethus, an Argonian who trained with a dragon which you were once very close to. Sorry… I'm rambling. Eventually, Akatosh became Emperor, Keerava became Queen, and Diinmaar, his brother and his friend Inigo, a blue one of those cat creatures, trained along with a Dragon Priest and another dragon to save the world from… you… And to stop the civil war going on in Skyrim." Alduin thought for a moment. He remembered Diinmaar saying to leave the mortals alone. But Diinmaar isn't a mortal. So he can talk to him alone. Having the grand battle with the Dovahkiin is out of the question for now sense Diinmaar is Akatosh's second son. He must confront him on these matters.
"Where is Diinmaar now?" Alduin asked his smiling mother.
I ran. I ran, and I ran, and I ran. And as I ran, I killed my enemy's that were all around me. Explosions were set off all around the battlefield and I was in the center of it all. Bloodied, bruised, and tired. But I fought. I was on an island somewhere in Marrowind I think. I don't remember coming here. But here I was, killing more of those…. abominations. "C'mon!" I charged into a horde of those things. Leading a small detachment of Imperial soldiers against them. It was a death wish. In the corner of my eye, I saw Inigo, Derk, and a few others I've never seen before in the distance fighting more of the hoard. But above me was what really caught my eye, something I never thought I would ever see. A dragon fighting alongside us breathing hellfire upon the giant crowd of those monsters. I was backed up against a ledge of a cliff and nowhere to go. I was surrounded. Keening was in hand with a restoration spell in the other. I killed, slaughtered, and obliterated my foes to Oblivion but they kept on coming. And coming. And coming. Until finally I felt a burning pain in my stomach. In front of me was a Thalmor Justiciar. He had a sword through my stomach and I could see my own face fall. I fell on my knees, holding the hilt of the Elven blade.
Looking at the High Elf, I spit in his face. A small portion of blood seeped through my mouth. "Do it." I coughed. Soon I was coughing up more blood as the red liquid dripped down my face. "I'll see you soon..." The Elf put a boot on my face, pulled out his sword as I gasped, and pushed me over the ledge. I don't know where I fell, but Keening, slowly floated down to the bottom of the ocean. The last thing I heard was an angered roar of a dragon. Then I woke up.
I gasped, holding my chest. Patting myself down to make sure I was alright. It was a dream. Or a nightmare? It doesn't matter. I was alive. I looked around at my surroundings. I was in a bed, warm and comfortable. The room was simple, a bed, a nightstand next to it and a wardrobe. There were no windows, the room was dimly lit by the small wax candle on the small nightstand. A chest sat next to it. 'Probably has my things.' I thought. "You're awake." A feminine voice said not too far away. It was soft and kind, yet stern. I tried to get up to see who it was, but the burning in my chest stopped me from doing so. I felt a warm hand on my chest gently push me down. "Easy friend. You were out for a week. If it weren't for my student, you would have died. That thing that you faced back there, we just call them abominations. A fitting name, really. It's a kind of demon. Or Deadra, as you call them. They come from a place far from here called Lyg. A place like Nirn, but much more hostile."
She sat down next to me, looking down at me. "My name is Lily. I, like Siigon, am Dragonkin. We are dragons, but not dragons." She paused. "Half Dragons or Halflings, I guess. As you can clearly see. We are part of a secret order much like your world's Psijic Order. Except we deal with the world's threats directly. Paladins, you may call us. Paladins of the Order of the Dragon." I simply nodded, too dazed to talk as I stared at the ceiling. "We admire your work, as the Dragonborn. Especially our master. Someone who would love to meet you someday." I slowly sat up. The pain subsided a little.
"Why are you telling me this?" I asked. "You just met me." My voice was hoarse and it felt dry. And my throat hurt. She giggled.
"Why tell you this? Hmm. Well we need you to trust us." I saw that she wore the same kind of armor that other paladins Siigon wore. But hers looked more like armored restoration mage's robes instead of warriors armor. And her scales were dark green, and her eyes were yellow. "It's simple really." She said. I sat up so I was now sitting next to her. Her smile seemed to grow. "Fate brought us together. Two worlds meet, and two dragons far apart find a common enemy." I nodded.
"I have two jobs. Stop Alduin and this civil war" I didn't dare tell her about my second objective. To save the dragons, I can't tell anyone. "And on the subject of Alduin, well… I slipped a fear spell while we fought in the fort Helgen. Well… FOUGHT." She giggled again. I bumped her shoulder with mine and giggled along with her. "Hey." She laughed. "Maybe when this is over..." Maybe I could settle down. Be normal again.
"When what is over?" She asked.
"When this… is over." I gestured to all of the surroundings. She looked at me confused.
"But you just gestured to everything." I nodded.
"I know. I meant when I no longer needed to be the Dragonborn. And I can just be me. When I don't need to be a hero and I could just… help myself. Be myself." I got up and left for the door. But there were no doors which was inconvenient. I like my privacy. I stopped as I just turned the corner and peaked my head back into the room. "By the way, I need to get back to Solitude. Can you give me a general direction?"
A few hours later and I was back in Solitude at the Blue Palace. "Thank you, Jarl Elisif." I bowed.
"It's a fine day with you around." She waved as I left the Blue Palace to go visit my new house. The Proudspire Manor. Well it's not really mine, but I had to let the Jarl know that someone else will be living in it. The Jarl made me Thane as soon as I helped her kill this Wolf Queen character. Damned power hungry deviants. Apparently she was Potema Septim. Nothing like an undead power hungry high queen. I walked down the path and made a right up a set of stairs and made another right into my new house. It was nice, 3 stories, 3 bed, an armory, and a kitchen with diner. My own little kingdom. But Paarth and the Graybeards have been working on a castle for me on the Throat. And I think my parents would rather have this place than a whole castle. So I'll be taking it when it's done. I should probably get some gear for my adventures here. Who knows what I'll encounter. I walked inside the front door and down a set of stairs. Downstairs was the armory, alchemy lab, enchantment table and an extra bedroom. There was already some smithing materials and some armor and weapons already made so I shouldn't need to buy anything. On an armor stand was a set of Imperial Bachelor gear, sword, and a shield. The shield boar the Dragonborn sigil. The sword was there but I left it. I prefer my dagger. I opened my pack and took out my map and my Dragonscale armor. The bone is my first dragon kill. This dragon tried to kill Paarth while we were training and I lost it. I don't know how he lived this long but if Paarthurnax and Jormungandr did, I shouldn't be surprised. The dragon was an apparent troublemaker. So I felt pride while I skinned his corpse. And I wore his scales ever since.
I put on the armor, and left the Bachelor armor on its stand, a Spymaster set next to it. Instead, staying with my Dragonscale armor. There was a door down the hallway with a door at the end. I believe it was another exit. I decided to test that theory. I walked over and opened it to the street that I came from. "Huh." I walked out and the door shut behind me. The door was surrounded by overgrown weeds. No wonder why I didn't see anything here. I looked to my right and I saw Siigon, Lily, and Ky'ren waiting for me a few paces away. How did Ky'ren find me? "Ky'ren? What are you doing here?" I asked as I walked up.
"My contacts told me about a strange blue Khajiit in jail, saying he was a friend of yours so… here we are. He told me where you might be." I looked around.
"Inigo? Where is he." She jabbed a thumb behind her. And there was Inigo playing a game of tag with a few kids. I couldn't help but smile at the sight. He always was good with kids. I walked past Ky'ren and waved my arm in the air. "Inigo!" I yelled, waving at him. He looked towards my direction and saw me approaching.
"Dare! Is that you my friend? I am so glad to see you!" He yelled as he ran over to join us. I gave him a quick hug.
"It's been a while, old friend." I said. "How are you, how are things, wait, why were you in jail!" He chuckled lightly.
"Well er, I… got a bounty." I nodded, waiting. "Er… it… was for you." My eyes grew wide.
"What! Me? And you took it?" I yelled, agitated.
"Yes." He looked down in shame. "I didn't know it was you until I saw you. The employer never gave me a name, just a description. I've been following you since you arrived. I couldn't live with myself so I asked the Riften guards to lock me up. Derk went adventuring and I haven't heard from him in years. I am sorry. Please forgive me for almost taking your life." He said ashamed. I sighed.
"I can't be mad at you, Inigo. C'mon. We can discuss this more as we make our way to Whiterun. The Jarl had a task for me there." He nodded.
"Thank you my friend." I looked him over. He was wearing rags.
"We should… get you some armor. I got some inside. Follow me." I beckoned them to follow me inside my house.
It was sun down and we were taking a carriage to Whiterun. Inigo sat across from me, telling us all about his adventures as a member of a mercenary group. Now in Spymaster's gear. Ky'ren was sitting next to him, talking with Lily who was laying her head on my shoulder. I didn't mind it. Siigon was sitting next to the driver. Idly staring off into the distance ahead. And I sat there resting my head on the backboard of the carriage enjoying it all. The chatter of my peers, the sound of the carriage moving and the flapping of the wings of a dragon overhead. I smiled. Nothing could get better than this. I knew that Paarth or Gandr would look after me. I looked up to look at the dragon. But what I didn't expect to see was Alduin flying above us. I looked back down. "Huh." I looked back up. 'Yep, it's Alduin.' I went back to resting and shut my eyes… 'WAIT WHAT!' I snapped my eyes open and looked back up at him. "Uh, guys?" I quivered. Everyone looked at me. The driver stopped the carriage and looked at me as well, probably noticed how scared I sounded. "Look up." I pointed up towards Alduin. Everyone did as instructed and the first thing I heard was…
"DRAGON!" The driver screamed, jumping out of the carriage and bailing it out of the area.
"Hey get back here you coward!" Siigon yelled after him with a fist.
"Draw your weapons, my friends! To arms! To arms!" Inigo said jumping out of the carriage, drawing his blade. He is way too optimistic about the most morbid things sometimes. I should talk to him about that sometime. Ky'ren and Siigon jumped out after him, drawing their weapons. Lily reached up in the air like she was grabbing something. And indeed she was. Out of nowhere, a golden staff appeared out of a bright flash of golden light. She smashed the staff in the ground and a kind of golden energy dome shrouded us.
"Whoa! What was that, Lily?" Siigon asked.
"I haven't taught you everything yet, apprentice." She glared up at the ebony black dragon flying above. I decided I'd let everyone in on a little secret of my own. I scoffed at Alduin who was now slowly descending. I walked out of the dome and closed my eyes. Calling to Aetherius.
"Dare, what are you doing? You will be quashed by that big scaly gas bag!" Inigo yelled. I paid him no mind. For this to work, I need full concentration. This only lasts a few minutes. If not hours if I'm strong enough. Suddenly I felt the surge of power ping in my mind and I reached out to it. My body started to glow as flakes began to tear off of my skin. Similar to when I killed my first dragon. Then my glowing body began to grow with size and not soon after the flakes started to come back. But they were different. I could hear my allies and friends yelling at me. I could feel their ogling eyes. Akatosh warned me about this being scary to others. Using his power like this. It's called an Aspect of Akatosh. But I have a special case, unlike Martin Septim's transformation. I don't die when I use it. My soul isn't bound to Aeherius when I become Akatosh. No. I become a dragon. Just like Ka Po' Tun, one of the cat-folk of old. He was the first to successfully turn himself into the second most largest dragon in the world. Tosh Raka, an orange and black beast. When I opened my eyes, they were no longer the blue Argonian slits. Now they were blue menacing draconic eyes. And I was no longer an Argonian, but a dragon. A very, very, big, dragon. About the size of a large house according to Gandr. She even commented that I look like Akatosh himself, although black. And bigger. I turned to my allies and bared my teeth in a grin. Inigo slowly walked forward, but didn't go out of the dome. He was shaking in his boots, they all were. "Dare? Is that you… my friend?" He asked. Obviously petrified. I chuckled, which shook the ground a bit.
"Oh c'mon, Inigo." My voice boomed. Did you really think that I would be learning fancy spells and incantations at the Throat? Bah. This is more fun." I raised my wings blocking the moonlight and roared. It felt good to be like this. Being in that wrenched form was so limiting. I looked back down at my party, lowering my wings letting the moonlight back in."I will give you the short answer on how this is possible. Me, training with two dragons for years." I turned to face Alduin again.
"We have a job to do, our quarry is here." I said as I felt the magic of Lily's dome fall. I looked back to see them line up next to me.
"Then let's do this together!" Lily yelled.
"For light and honor!" Siigon said as he hit his sword against his shield.
"For the Dominion!" Ky'ren yelled out, raising her twin daggers.
"For the Empire!" Inigo yelled, climbing on my neck. Readying his ebony bow.
"Well, this is awkward." I mumbled to Inigo as he laughed.
"I couldn't agree more with my scaly friend! And I must say, Mr. Dragonfly thinks you look very stunning like that." I looked back at him through the corner of my eye.
"You still have that dragonfly?" He nodded. I hummed in amusement. I looked back toward my quarry and grinned. Alduin landed on a hill close to us. We were in the middle of the plains near Whiterun so no casualties should occur. Unless you count any of us. "Fah faal Lokoltei! For the Empire!" I roared as we all charged, yelling out our battle cry.
Alduin however didn't flinch. He opened his mouth and it looked like he was about to use a Shout. I prepared myself for the inevitable blast. We are so close now. "Zu'u fun hi Alduin! Zu'u fun hi wah lif mii!" (I told you Alduin! I told you to leave us!) I bellowed as we neared.
"Stop!" He roared. "I did not come to fight!" I didn't expect that. We all stopped, skidding to a halt. Inigo fell off my neck and over my head, landing on his stomach.
"Did you hear that too? I thought I heard that dragon say he didn't come here to fight." He said jokingly as he got up, grabbing his bow.
"You heard correctly, mortal. I come with a message. I am here with good intentions of course." I didn't have time for this.
"Shove your intentions up your scaly ass, Alduin. We want nothing to do with it. No deals, no bargains, and no cooperation from me." Alduin smirked at the response.
"I knew you would say that. But I was going to tell you about your… father." I was calm the entire time, but the moment he said "father" that was it. I stomped up to him and grabbed him by the neck.
"I swear on Akatosh's name, if you lay one claw on him you'll have trouble! And not just from me." I seethed. I was much bigger than him so I had to bend my neck and he had to look up. He continued to smirk, however.
"You would swear on your father's name?" He paused to sit on his hunches, getting even with me. "If I touched my own father, I would be punished... Now how does that work, hmm?" He asked. I was in his face now. Even with him on the small hill, I was taller than him.
"What in Oblivion are you talking about?" I demanded, pressing a claw into his soft under scales. He didn't say anything. He just sat there with that smug look on his face. "Wait." I thought it over. I can put two and two together. "That's impossible. I saw Akatosh on the Throat next to my father! I won't be manipulated by your lies, World Eater! Playing mind games is MY trick." I backed up next to my party. "I was going to let you be, but you are getting annoying. Vuldak Buld!" (Change Form) I Shouted. He didn't have time to react as the Shout hit him head on, literally.
It was exciting to see what this Shout could do. I would stay and see to it, but I got a war to stop. I got the idea from reading about the Deadric prince, Sheogorath. The Shout changes the affected target into something completely different. And by different, I mean body, mind, and even soul. I could change a god into a man, or a man into a god. And the best thing about it is that the effects are completely random so I get a new result every time! Speaking of old Sheo, I haven't seen him in a while. He's like an uncle to me. Believe it or not, he helped me in learning how his staff worked. Ha, asking the Deadric prince of madness for help. Ha! I must be mad myself. I was brought out of my thoughts by Alduin's screaming and thrashing on the ground as he rolled off the hill. "Don't be such a mortal, Alduin. Oh, wait. Ha! You can't help it!" I laughed as I took off into the air. "I will be in Whiterun! Meet me there!" I yelled back to my party members. And with that, I flew off. Leaving and screaming Alduin and my companions in the plains of Whiterun.
Back with Inigo and the others, Inigo got back into the carriage after he got over the initial shock of what he just saw. "We must hurry! Who knows how long that Shout will last! Or what it does!" He yelled as everyone ran down the hill to the waiting carriage. Once everyone was in he looked back at the screaming dragon, Alduin. Dare must have gone through a lot of training to do something like that to a god. Alduin laid there in a burning pile, thrashing and kicking the air. It looked extremely painful. He's seen Diinmaar absorb a dragon's soul before, he said he didn't like it. He couldn't stand to hear the screams, or watch him burn. He looked forward as the carriage carried them away from the scene. The driver from before was nowhere to be seen so Siigon had to take the job on getting them out of here. He couldn't stop myself from wondering. What kind of Shout did Dare use? All well, one less evil dragon to worry about. But another thing was on his mind. Where did his soul go? He never saw it leave his body? Maybe the Shout didn't kill him? Maybe it just wounded him greatly? All well. Akatosh and Mara can deal with it. Maybe they can survive all of this. And maybe, they can finally end this stupid war.
I was walking back from my morning jog, running around Whiterun's borders. Exhausted and in pain. Walking up to the gates, I was confronted by the same guards from before. One of them opened the doors while the other walked up to me as I approached. "Hey Dragonborn. Think you can Shout me a bottle of mead?" He asked. The second guard held the door open and shook his head.
"Hey, I don't think that is how it works." The first crossed his arms.
"It totally works that way." He insisted, bringing his arms out. "C'mon Dragonborn. Do it." The second facepalmed.
"A Shout is just words of power in the dragon language. You know, breathing fire, ice, and other elements. He can't summon mead out of thin air with words. That's what magic is for." I sighed, but I did give a quick nod in appreciation to the other guard. I was actually surprised that someone like him would take the time to study something like that.
"Can I go in?" I asked the first who was still blocking my way. He let his arms drop and stepped aside, pouting.
"Yes." He mumbled as I walked in. The first guard looked at the second who was still pouting.
"Wanna go to the College and learn the mead spell?" The second stood there for a moment, thinking.
"We'll need to get replacements for our posts. And let the Jarl know." The other nodded and they both walked inside, leaving the door to Whiterun... unguarded.
Back with Diinmaar, he walked into the Bannered Mare. Inigo, Ky'ren, Siigon, and Lily, all sitting around a table in the far corner of the room. Having a wonderful time, drinking and laughing. I walked over to join them. "Hey." I waved. Siigon was the first to say something.
"Hello friend, we were just talking about you." I raised a brow. Ky'ren nodded.
"Yep. We were thinking about posting fliers to let people know that Prince Diinmaar is recruiting people for his own regiment. Now people from all over Skyrim of all races can join the Empire. It was all Inigo's idea." I looked at the Khajiit in question.
"Inigo." He turned from his conversation with Lily and looked at me.
"Did I miss something?" He asked.
"No. I just wanted to say that I never knew I was recruiting for the Empire. But, I think I should." Just then I heard someone clear their throat. We all looked at who it was. It was an Argonian. And she was a waiter, or to be more specific, a wench.
"Sorry. We got our drinks already." She smiled warmly as she held up a flier in her hand.
"Oh." I scratched the back of my neck. Luckily I wasn't wearing my armor, it would be hard to move in it. I didn't have it because when I turned into a dragon, my armor tore off of my body.
"Um, yeah sure. But you need some clothes." I said, pointing to her nude body. I averted my gaze. Savages, all of them. "Well Inigo..." I chuckled, looking at him. "...I guess those fliers are working." I looked back at the Argonian only to see that she was gone. I looked around for her but I didn't see any Argonians besides the one's at the table. "I guess she was really in a hurry." I mumbled. Turning back to the group, I smiled. Putting my elbows on the table, using my hands to prop up my head. "So." I got everyone's attention again. "Another round?" I asked, holding up some Argonian Bloodwine and Ale. Everyone cheered as I stood up. "Everyone! Drinks on me!" As if on queue, waiters came out with ale and other toxins and delivered them to the other patrons. And for the rest of the night, we partied like there was no tomorrow.
"Thank you my friend." I looked him over. He was wearing rags.
"We should… get you some armor. I got some inside. Follow me." I beckoned them to follow me inside my house.
