Chapter 1184

Drone Smack Down

The Terminator on the motorcycle heard what sounded like an HK drone. They wanted to get lost in the crowd at the shopping center. They were sure it was only a matter of time until they were targeted with the missile strike.

The tire blew out on the back of the motorcycle right before they heard a single shot. There must be a sniper targeting them. They wondered how someone was able to get a sniper into position on the path they would take. They weren't sure why they weren't targeted as opposed to the rear tire on the motorcycle. The bike lost control and they went flying. They landed hard as the bike hit a pole. They were on the ground for fifteen seconds before they got up. They stood the bike up to see if they could flee on it. It was now inoperable. They put the kickstand down and moved away from it.

The Terminator thought they were under attack from a sniper but there were no follow up shots. They moved rapidly down the street. They still wanted to get lost in the crowd. were about to pass an alley when they spotted a police car. It appeared to pay them a little more attention than they wanted it to. They decided to enter the alley for what they planned next. It would give them a little more seclusion. They hoped the police car would follow them in. They would terminate the policeman and take their vehicle. They pulled out their pistol. They were glad they didn't lose it during the 'sniper' attack.

They were also aware there was an HK drone somewhere. They'd heard it right before someone fired a shot at them. They didn't think it was from the drone. There was probably a sniper near where they'd left the motorcycle. The sniper didn't fire again because they must have spotted the police car. The police car probably came over towards them because they'd heard the shot.

They expected the police car to turn into the alley any moment after them. Instead, they saw the police car pass by the alley with their lights on. It appeared they'd received another call. They had a choice to continue down the alley or go back out the way they'd come. They still needed to consider there was the possibility of a sniper waiting for them to do exactly that. They decided to continue down the alley. They would still be able to get to the shopping center and avoid the sniper.

As the Terminator ran down the alley, they spotted an SUV turn in from the exit of the alley in the direction they were headed. They didn't think it was a coincidence. They stopped and turned around to go back out the way they'd come in. A second SUV turned in from the entrance they'd used. Both of the vehicles approached them at a rapid speed. It was clear they were about to be involved in a fight. At this point they were outmatched.

They also need to consider the HK drone above them somewhere. They could still hear it. They needed to get to an area where there were more people. There was less chance of a missile strike if they were innocent bystanders by them. No one wanted to create a large incident. It would involve multiple investigations. There were no rules but there were some unofficial rules everyone needed to follow or everything else would be a lot more difficult.

There appeared to be only one avenue of escape for the Terminator. They would need to evade and not engage.

The Terminator turned to smash through a wall and escape through a business. They were just about to reach the wall when they heard the HK drone again. It was somehow very close now. It was very quiet for an HK drone. Maybe it was something different. The two SUVs were closing in on them from either end.

A blur appeared before the Terminator as they looked back. Their world turned black.

Seconds ago:

Steve and Tom were directed by John Henry where to go to attempt to intercept the motorcycle rider. They were given a change in plans at the last minute when the drone brought the motorcycle rider down with a single shot to the rear wheel.

It didn't appear the Terminator was headed directly for the shopping mall. There was a police car in the vicinity. They appear to take an interest in them. The Terminator headed down an alley.

Steve followed his new instructions and turned into the alley the Terminator entered from the far end. They spotted their target immediately.

"We have the alley exit blocked. I see them. We are speeding towards them." Steve said. "They're now headed back the way they came."

Cammy passed by the wrecked bike and turned into the alley after the Terminator. The police car already passed by the area and made a turn in the other direction. The police car was no longer in the danger zone.

"I see them." Cammy said as she floored it.

Savannah received Steve's message.

"Run them down." Savannah said.

It was a technique Savannah employed before at the old helicopter base where Skynet set up operations. She ran down a squad of five Grays. She killed all five of them. One of them was stuck underneath the vehicle. They were dismembered limb by limb until only a torso bounced away from underneath the SUV.

Cammy thought it was an effective strategy.

"If I can, I will." Cammy said.

Savannah could see their headlights closing on the Terminator. Steve and Tom closed in from the other side.. She wanted to avoid any unnecessary shooting if possible. They currently possess two very powerful weapons. They were the two SUVs.

"We have them now." Savannah said. "We're headed towards them. We will ram them or pin them between our SUVs."

Before either SUV was able to get close enough or they could bring weapons to bear on the Terminator, it appeared they were going to smash through a wall and elude them.

There was the whine of a drone at high speed.

In a flash, a drone appeared from the darkness and impacted the Terminator. It sent them sprawling head over heels down the alley towards Steve's SUV.

The drone continued past the sprawled Terminator and climbed back into the sky. It was gone as quickly as it arrived. The two SUVs pulled up to where the Terminator was lying. If they were able to stand, they were ready to ram them and pin him between them if necessary.

Savannah and Cam were the first out. Cammy was right behind them. Savannah and Cam both fired their Tasers. Steve and Tom pulled up. Tom exited with an M249. Steve carried an M203 below his M4. Cammy held an M4 ready to fire.

Cam and Savannah both scored a hit with their Tasers.

It was fairly certain the Terminator would never get back up at this point.

Cam pulled her knife and moved forward to remove his chip. She quickly made sure there was no bomb ready to explode. When she took the chip out, it self destructed.

Steve picked him up and loaded him in the back of his SUV.

Tom was already in the driver's seat. As soon as Steve was in, Tom started a three point turn to go back out the way they'd entered. They didn't want to pass by the motorcycle or get any nearer to the shopping center. They still didn't know if the Terminator attempted to lead them into some type of a trap.

Cammy got back behind the wheel of her SUV.

Savannah looked around in the darkness of the alley from the gloom of the headlights. She looked over at Cam. She wanted to retrieve one more item before they departed.

"See if you can spot the pistol he was holding." Savannah said. "There are probably a lot of kids around here in the daytime. I don't want one of them to find it. Someone will get hurt or worse."

Cam looked back towards where the impact with the drone and the Terminator occurred. She zoomed her vision in. She spotted it right away.

"I see it." Cam said.

Cam ran back and picked it up. She then headed to the SUV. Tom and Steve were already moving out. Savannah was already back inside. She hopped in and Cammy followed them out.

John Henry viewed the drone image from high above them.

"There are no observed threats on your exit route." John Henry said.

Savannah was glad there weren't any. She wanted to address the drone 'attack' on the Terminator. It happened so quickly and unexpectedly.

"It was a surprise to see the drone appear from out of nowhere." Savannah said.

John Henry was able to view everything from the drone overhead. He played no part in the takedown with the drone.

"It was for me too." John Henry said.

Savannah was sure there would be some repercussions about the few seconds the drone dropped from the sky, attacked and then disappeared. It all happened in about two seconds.

Maybe by the time anyone knew where to look for the sound they heard, the drone would have already been gone. It was dark and would have been hard to identify. She was sure John Henry and CamNet would deal with any of the reports, if there were any.

Savannah was pleased with the way everything played out. None of their team needed to face any real danger. She was sure who was behind the use of the drone in such an unconventional manner.

Earlier:

The Terminator abandoned the motorcycle and went down an alley in an attempt to lure a police car in after him. With a little assistance from John Henry, events played out a little differently.

Young Allison saw they were out of time and options.

Anna received a targeting update from CamNet.

"CamNet is ready with the minigun or a missile." Anna said.

Young Allison was aware of the nearby shopping center.

"We need to act now." Young Allison said. "I don't want a lot of gunfire or a missile strike. Ram him and knock him down with a drone while he's contained in the alley. The impact should incapacitate him, at least temporarily."

Anna sent the information. CamNet acted on the request before she'd finished sending it. It was done on Young Allison's verbal request.

"CamNet has responded." Anna said.

They watched the scene unfold from another drone overhead that searched for any additional threats.

It was clear when the Terminator saw he was boxed in with the speeding SUVs approaching him, the only way out was to try and evade them and smash through a wall.

CamNet flew the drone in at high speed and impacted the Terminator. He flew through the air for about forty feet. He sprawled in a heap on the ground. The drone climbed out of the alley as fast as it appeared. It was gone before the Terminator landed in his final resting place. It was only there for less than two seconds.

They watched the two teams deactivate the Terminator and load him in an SUV. Both teams were out of there within thirty seconds from entering the alley.

Young Allison was pleased with the proficiency of everyone involved.

"It went a little smoother than I thought it would." Young Allison said. "Is the drone fully functional? I know it may be damaged slightly."

Anna checked.

"The drone is one hundred percent operational." Anna said.

Young Allison knew there was a difference between 'damaged' and 'one hundred percent operational'. She wanted to make her position known.

"If it's damaged, I will assist in its repair." Young Allison said.

Anna figured on that. She'd come to expect no less from Young Allison.

"You're very caring." Anna said. "All of the machines appreciate it."

Young Allison wanted to make it clear.

"Any Terminator or drone that's damaged because of my actions, I will personally assist in their repair." Young Allison said. "I will assist in the repair of any damaged personnel."

Anna was there when Young Allison and Savannah did it before.

"You've done it previously with two drones." Anna said. "For one of them, you did it twice."

To Young Allison their troops and machines came first.

"They were willing to take damage to carry out my order. I'll repair them if possible. I know it may not always be an option in the future." Young Allison said. "I needed to act and I know there may be damage to our forces at times. I'll try to limit that. I'll repair what I can."

Anna was in direct communication with John Henry.

"John Henry has commented about what we did." Anna said.

Young Allison thought there were a few things they could have done differently. She was satisfied with the outcome. It was a risk to try and tail the Terminator back to wherever he came from or was going.

"Tell John Henry I accept full responsibility for all the actions taken tonight." Young Allison said. "If the General needs to reprimand me when he returns, I'll be accountable."

Anna didn't want Young Allison to worry.

"John Henry is congratulating you." Anna said. "There was no collateral damage."

Young Allison learned it was never over until it was over.

"We need to get our forces home." Young Allison said. "We still don't know if this is something bigger. Everyone needs to remain at a maximum caution level and they're going to need to switch vehicles again soon."

With things cooling down some, Young Allison took a moment to reflect on her actions. They thought the motorcycle rider could be a Fanatic. She was aware she took a chance ramming him with the drone. She figured if they were going to blow up, it would have happened when the bike went down.

There was still a chance of an explosion when she asked CamNet to send the drone in. She figured if there was an explosion from the drone impact and the drone went down, it would have gone down in the alley. It could have still been a messy situation. It would have been bound to draw additional attention. It didn't happen so there was no need to worry about it.

She'd wanted to protect Savannah and the others as much as she could and not injure any others. She asked a machine to take the risk over Savannah taking the risk. All of the drones on station volunteered to carry out the action. The closest one was selected.

Savannah was back in the SUV. They followed Tom and Steve out of the alley. She thought about the 'attack' on the Terminator. It was unconventional and effective.

"Things played out a little differently than I expected." Savannah said.

It was obvious to Cammy they'd been about two seconds away from the Terminator escaping.

"Someone clearly thought outside of the box." Cammy said. "If he'd smashed through the wall, it would have been harder to capture him. It most likely would have resulted in a running gun battle on the street. A missile could have been used but it may have caused considerable collateral damage."

It ended better than Cam thought it would.

"There was only one shot fired during the entire event this way." Cam said. "It was fired from altitude. It's doubtful it would be reported as anything but a backfire from a car."

What worried Savannah was if the drone was spotted. It was there and gone in a few seconds but someone may have observed it.

"What about anyone who may have spotted the drone?" Savannah asked. "I think it's our biggest worry at this point."

Cam went over the report from John Henry.

"John Henry reports there have been no 911 calls to that effect." Cam said. "He's made several false reports about some 'street racing' in the area. It should cover anyone who reports the drone noise or the 'backfire'."

Cammy didn't think anyone would be sure of what they saw if they saw anything at all. They wouldn't have any idea what they saw. Even if someone reported seeing a 'big drone', it would most likely be thought of as a recreational drone and someone exaggerated the size. If someone reported it as a UFO, the report would go nowhere. They would simply be written off as another nutcase.

"The drone was there and gone in a flash." Cammy said. "It's doubtful anyone would have been able to process everything fully, especially in the darkness. It was an effective strategy."

Savannah was very concerned about the events that led up to the last take down.

"Have him stay with the 911 calls for a few hours." Savannah said. "We need to get new wheels and get out of here. This may not be over yet if we were being led around. It sure seemed like it."

Savannah wasn't sure if this was the end of an operation or just the beginning. If the sole purpose of the motorcycle riders trek was to lure out a specific group for an ambush, everything was still a threat. Their vehicles didn't follow the motorcycle rider directly. It still didn't mean there wasn't some method set up to identify their vehicles. Everything was still in flux until they were away from the area and in replacement vehicles.

Young Allison wasn't convinced events were over for night. The way the motorcycle rider conducted the entire operation indicated there was more to come. Right now they didn't know what it was. The chip from the Terminator self-destructed. They would gain no information from it.

"I don't think it's over yet." Young Allison said. "Not after how they were led around."

The Terminator worried Anna. It usually meant Grays. It could also be the Fanatics still. Fanatics viewed Terminators as 'gods'. SkyMaster was their supreme god.

"The fact a Terminator was involved isn't a good sign." Anna said.

It usually indicated direct Skynet involvement.

The enemy was the enemy to Young Allison. If they weren't on their team, they were the enemy. The only way to deal with an enemy set on destroying the world was termination.

"Whether they're Grays, Fanatics or Terminators, they're all bad news." Young Allison said. "They're the enemy."

Anna didn't think they were involved but still wanted to remind Young Allison about one more threat.

"Don't forget the anti-Metal faction." Anna said.

Cameron and Young Allison spoke about many things. The anti-Metal faction was one of them. It was personal to her.

"I haven't." Young Allison said. "I understand why Cameron has asked to deal with them herself whenever possible. I don't think it will be possible this week for her to be involved. We will need to deal with any threat ourselves."

Young Allison checked a satellite map with the drone footage overlaid on it. Anna assured her there was coverage and protection.

"The drones are covering the two SUVs as they leave the area." Anna said. "There is recon all around them."

Young Allison wanted to know what was there before the SUV's arrived at any given spot.

"I want to know what routes are available to them and what's along those routes." Young Allison said.

Young Allison looked at the satellite map of the area.

CamNet began to add information to it and on several divergent routes now as well.

Young Allison briefly smiled. It quickly faded. Savannah and the teams were still out there.

She reminded herself it was never over until it was over.

Sheila and Ally rode the elevator up to the sky lounge. The elevators all exited into a hallway on the outside of the sky lounge. They walked through the opening between two sets of elevators and entered the sky lounge. There was music playing and people were dancing. It was very dimly lit. There was a lot of alcohol flowing. It appeared to be mostly traditional couples interacting. It seemed the men tried to 'hit' on the women.

Sheila looked at the various groups of females scattered around.

"This place looks full of action." Sheila said.

Ally didn't want Sheila to get carried away.

"Let's not over do it, at least not on the first night." Ally said.

Sheila looked around and started to identify possible female 'targets'.

"There will still be plenty for you." Sheila said.

Ally reached out and touched Sheila's arm. She didn't want her to overdo it.

"Cool it for me, please." Ally said.

Sheila could see Ally didn't want her to 'pick up' on anyone. It didn't look like there would be any 'strange' tonight. She didn't want to create any problems on the first night.

"OK, love." Sheila said. "There are still six more nights for us."

Ally wanted to watch and learn how to play the instruments. She wanted to return to the smaller theater below them at the rear end of deck seven.

"Let's look around some." Ally said. "We still need to go see the Rockabilly Trio."

Sheila wanted to do it too. She could see Ally didn't want to push it. She was willing to see if they could learn something new. She was sure they could emulate the musicians. She hoped they would actually be able to learn how to play.

"Sure, love." Sheila said. "I'll do anything for you."

Sheila was excited to see all the females in nice clothes dancing. Cameron said they could have female partners on the ship. She wanted to do it. Cameron was very restrictive of any interaction with females outside of their group. All males were forbidden. Cameron now seemed to relax her rules some. She wasn't really sure why. She planned to be with a few females who were passengers on the ship before the cruise was done. She would be able to try something new. There wouldn't be any strings attached or terminations necessary. It should be some good clean fun. She would just need to make sure females were 'clean' as well. Most of the ones they'd freed from the sex trade weren't.

Ally watched Sheila look around the sky lounge. She didn't think she would be able to contain Sheila for more than a night or two. It wasn't what she wanted but she also needed to respect Sheila's desires. She would do her best to help keep her out of trouble as she began her conquests. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to try some fresh skirt. It was doubtful any opportunity of the current nature would happen again any time soon. Cameron already indicated whatever happened on the ship, stayed on the ship. There shouldn't be any need for them to discuss it once they were off of the ship.

"Let's try to keep what we do with any strangers private." Ally said.

Sheila could see Ally was on board. She could tell Ally didn't want any of the others to know what they did. It sounded like a green light to her.

"That's just my speed." Sheila said. "Privacy is my middle name."

The two Metal girls liked what they saw. They hoped the other Metal girls would arrive soon. They wanted to see what anyone else was willing to do.

When Holly caught up with Gail, Hanna was in the process of telling Gail about their plans to go to the sky lounge and then see the Rockabilly Trio in an hour.

Gail looked over at Cameron's table and Cameron pointed up.

Holly saw the gesture as well. She wanted to let them know it was OK to go up.

"She's indicated for us to go up to the sky lounge." Holly said.

Gail decided to be the last up.

"I'll follow them up." Gail said.

Holly wanted Gail to do more things.

"You go with Hanna and I will follow up after them." Holly said. "Have some fun with Hanna."

Hanna took Gail's arm. She wanted Gail to relax a little bit. She was wound a little too tight right now.

"We make a good pair." Hanna said. "We can hang out together later on too if you want."

Gail looked at Holly. It seemed she wanted her approval or advice.

"We're here for seven days." Holly said. "There will be plenty of time to share with everyone."

Hanna led Gail away to the rear elevator in the back of the buffet area.

Holly took up station just outside the front of the buffet by the ice cream station where she could see into the buffet area. There were no threats to the team and no one paid them any extra attention.

The threat level seemed minimal. Still, it was better to remain vigilant.

Holly was here to do a job and she intended on doing it. She didn't think it was necessary for both Gail and her to be there. Since Hanna was on board now, she hoped Gail could unwind a little bit.

John was a little uneasy with the whole situation that involved the older couple and the other incident he'd missed about the table. He figured it was just as well. If he would have seen someone disrespect Cameron in that manner, he probably would have gotten involved a little more aggressively. He was sure it would have caused Cameron to respond in an even more aggressive manner. Things probably would have escalated out of control in seconds. He was just glad everything seemed to be settled peacefully and over with.

"It seems like there was a lot of excitement about nothing." John said.

Cameron looked at John. His words upset her. He wasn't the one that was targeted. She was.

"Maybe for you it wasn't." Cameron said. "It was for me."

Now John wondered if he'd been too casual about it. He was about to backpedal his earlier statement. He needed to find the right words.

Riley wanted to redirect the conversation. She didn't want John and Cameron to get upset at each other. They were on vacation. Everyone was supposed to have a good time.

"Is anyone going to get more dessert?" Riley asked.

Sarah checked the time.

"It will be breakfast before you know it." Sarah said.

Sarah statement caught Derek's attention. He wanted to plan ahead.

"Where do we go for breakfast?" Derek asked. "Is it up here or in the main dining room?"

Riley didn't want Derek to sound like a pig.

"Relax, you're still eating now." Riley said.

Cameron looked at John one more time. She was still displeased with his comment. She then turned her attention to Derek.

"You can come here first and then go to the main dining room for a more elaborate breakfast." Cameron said. "You can also do room service."

Room service caught Sarah's attention. She'd noticed there was an entire booklet with a complete menu in their suite. She wasn't really sure how it worked. She'd never been much of a room service girl or even in an establishment where they offered such an amenity.

"I want that." Sarah said. "Room service sounds nice."

Cameron already planned for it if anyone wanted it.

"Jim or Sheila will take the food cart from the room service team when they bring it up and serve you." Cameron said. "You won't need to worry about strangers in your rooms or seeing you naked."

Sarah didn't want the Terminators to need to wait on her.

"I don't want them to have to serve us." Sarah said. "We can take care of ourselves."

Cameron didn't see it as a problem.

"You can eat breakfast on your balcony and watch the water as we pass by. You might even see a few whales or dolphins." Cameron said. "They will bring whatever you want to our three rooms anytime of the day. All departments have been put on notice to provide us with maximum service. Normally they would bring it into your room and serve you. We've changed the protocol for this voyage regarding the private suites."

The idea intrigued Kyle. He wanted to see every sunrise and sunset he could. It sounded like there was an easier way to do it from their suite. If he was running a little behind in the morning he wouldn't have to dress and hurry out to worry about breakfast.

"I want to do it and see the sunrise." Kyle said.

Cameron wanted them to enjoy the experience. She would make sure the ship was turned at the proper angle so they could view the sunrise in the morning. She'd already arranged to make sure it would happen for sunset when they were in the main dining room.

"There's a card to fill out with the selections of what you want in your room. Fill it out with the time you want and leave it on the outside door handle to your room. I'll make sure everything is there before sunrise." Cameron said. "You can even write something on the card that's not listed. The 'Captain's pantry' is at our disposal. You can't have pretty much anything you can think of."

Sarah didn't want to disturb Cameron and John.

"It will mess you up." Sarah said. "You need your alone time too."

Cameron needed to remind them of a few things.

"Remember, I don't sleep." Cameron said. "I don't want to go into standby either. I'll still be there when John needs me. My chassis is available for his use twenty-four seven."

John looked a little embarrassed. He would have preferred something a little more eloquent than the term 'use'. He didn't want Cameron to sound like a mechanical love doll. There were already enough times where he felt he'd treated her like that. None of them were intentional.

"When we share, it will be sharing for the both of us." John said.

Derek noticed John's uneasiness. He wanted to put it all in perspective.

"It's what we're all here for." Derek said. "It's so we can share with our families. We can enjoy our togetherness without death or destruction around us for a few days. We've only been on the ship for a few hours and it's already the best times of my life."

Derek pulled Riley close and gave her a kiss.

Kyle liked what Derek said. He looked at Sarah.

"Tomorrow Jan will be here." Kyle said. "It's about our families. It's about us too."

Sarah laid it out for Kyle.

"Then you better get busy tonight, mister." Sarah said.

Sarah's statement brought a few chuckles.

Cameron wanted to assure Sarah and Kyle they would have privacy when they wanted it.

"Holly or one of the other Metal girls will watch over Jan and Summer when they're on the ship." Cameron said. "There are a lot of activities for children in all age groups. They can go with you wherever you want on the ship or if you want to look around or go on a tour when we're in port."

John wanted to make sure there was a Terminator with everyone.

"If you get off the ship, a Terminator needs to go with you." John said. "It's what Cameron wants and I do too. They can go with you or follow behind you. Either way, one of them needs to be there near you. There can't be any exceptions to the rule."

Cameron would be troubled if it wasn't done. She would go herself if it became necessary. She didn't think anyone would refuse her company.

"It's my only rule." Cameron said. "I need everyone to do it so I don't need to worry about anyone. If I'm worried about anyone, I won't have a good time. I want to have a good time. I want everyone to have a good time."

Sarah reached out and touched Cameron's arm.

"We're your guests." Sarah said. "We all want to feel protected too. We really appreciate everything you've done so far for us Cameron. None of us has ever been pampered like this before. It's really something you've provided to all of us."

Cameron appreciated Sarah's kind words.

"You're all part of my family." Cameron said.

Cameron's words had an impact on all of them. It made all of them feel special to be considered part of her family.

John looked around and everyone looked like they were done with their desserts.

"I think we're ready for the next adventure." John said.

Cameron was satisfied everybody was finished.

"Are you ready to go up to the top?" Cameron asked.

John nodded. He looked at the rest of the group.

"We're going to the sky lounge." John said. "You can come with us or go anywhere you want."

Kyle still wanted to see more of the ship. He figured he might as well start at the top with the sky lounge. He normally started at the top when he did other things anyway.

"Can we look at some more of the ship afterwards?" Kyle asked.

Cameron with CamNet could make almost anything happen on the ship.

"Yes." Cameron said. "Tell me anything you want on board and I'll make it happen."

Cameron was very pleased at what Savannah and Young Allison set in motion for her. She better understood now what they wanted to do for John and her. She was very pleased John wanted his family with him as well.

Vanna could see Precious was getting sleepy.

"I think Precious is ready for bed again." Vanna whispered.

Samantha saw this as an opportunity to do a little bit more, if she could.

"I can take her and change her." Samantha said. "It's what I do."

Vanna was going to protest but she could see it was important to Samantha. She still felt bad about excluding her previously.

"Will you go into standby afterwards looking at us?" Vanna asked.

Samantha needed to follow some specific rules when it came to standby.

"I need to close my eyes." Samantha said. "It's Cameron's order."

Vanna wanted to alert Samantha that there may be some late night action.

"Allison may want a 'midnight snack' later on." Vanna said.

Samantha would be able to follow some specific protocols.

"I'll only respond if Precious cries for fifteen seconds or longer." Samantha said. "I won't know what else is happening. It's what I do every night and provide Derek and Riley privacy. I'm not in the same room as them. I know the current arrangement is a little different. I'm next to Precious though. I can bring Precious to the nursery so Jesse or you may feed her."

Samantha was going to offer to take Precious back to her room but didn't want to push it with Vanna anymore tonight. Tomorrow would be a different story. Sleep deprivation would take its toll. She figured her services would be a little more appreciated tomorrow. If Vanna wanted to take it easy or was involved with Allison, she would be more than happy to take over with Precious. If they wanted a little additional company when they shared, she would be right there as well.

I'm In

Is there such a thing as too close
Where one can't see
What's in front of them
Or hear a simple plea

Love is like a drug
The more one gets
The more they need
Their brain goes on the fritz

Love makes one deaf
Love makes them blind
The sad part about it is
It all happens in their mind

The destination is always the same
The path to get there is not
Maybe it shows one's true intent
If they're focused on the slot

If the goal is only to win
At that point it's just a sin
It's over before it can begin
When all that matters is - I'm in

Nobody
