Luna shook her hair, ineffectively trying to get the moon dust out of it. She knew she would need a bath later. She sighed in tiredness when the same flashes of distorted events played before her eyes for the third time that day.

A small boy fell to a ruined road. Well, at least it seemed he was little, she couldn't tell. His frail body was clad in a tattered blue and red suit that Luna was sure had seen much better days.

"So you think you can escape us, 'Spider-Boy'?" To her shock, the voice came from a man that had morphed from a heap of sand.

The man approached the boy who desperately tried to stand on his feet but he was too weak.

Luna wished she could help.

A mean rumble of laughter sounded from another man wearing metal armor. He had a strange helmet with what seemed to be like a rhinoceros' horn partially concealing his face.

"Come on now, Rhino. Let's not be rude." This new person had metal-like tentacles that he walked with and his feet and body barely touched the floor.

The octopus-like man picked up the boy in the strange suit by the head, his talons sinking painfully into his masked face.

"You are pathetic." The man said in disgust and flung the boy into an already destroyed building as if he was a ragdoll.

The 'Spider-Boy' (as Sandman had called him) barely reacted as his body came in contact with the wall. He seemed so tired.

"Stand up and fight Spider-Man!" A green man with elf-like ears taunted and all he got from the boy was a small groan.

Sounds of sirens rang from afar and all six men turned to the distant noise.

"Let's get this over with. No way in hell am I going back to Ryker's!" A dark coated creature snapped hastily, his tongue falling to the left of his face.

They were all in a hurry.

"Yeah, Goblin, hurry up!" This man seemed to be pulsing with blue electricity as both anger and energy radiated off of him.

Goblin spared one last look at Spider-Man that still laid sprawled out on the floor and threw a pumpkin bomb at him

By the time it landed, they were long gone.

"Luna, are you alright?" Her sister's kind voice pulled her out of her vision. She lifted her muzzle to see her sister, in all her bright glory, staring down at her.

"Hello Celestia, I'm fine." She struggled to stand on her deep purple paws as they dug into the brown dirt. "I've just been having strange visions."

Celestia's pink eyes narrowed with concern as she began to walk beside Luna. It was their routine to walk back to the castle together after lowering the sun and raising the moon.

"Visions? Tell me about them." She suggested and Luna neighed in tiredness before speaking.

"It's just this strange place that I have been seeing. This boy keeps getting beat up there and I don't know how to feel about it." Luna replied.

"Someone's getting beat up? He may need help!" Celestia interjected quickly. Luna simply shrugged at her vigor. Even though they wanted to help, they couldn't.

She had never seen the world the boy was in before and she had seen a lot of worlds.

"I don't know, Cel, his world did not seem familiar to me. I don't think that we have gone there before." She confessed, feeling a bit of relief as the evening breeze blew through her violet hair.

"Now what world will that be? You seeing him in your visions could mean he is near Equestria." Her sister reasoned and she nodded in agreement. "We have been to most worlds near us, haven't we?"

"We have." Luna racked her brain for worlds that seemed similar to that of Spider-Man's.

There was a world with people that were extremely tall and had just one eye. They had learned that it was the world of Cyclops.

Another had beings with smooth fair skin, pointy noses and even pointier ears. She had begged Celestia for them to stay a while so she could admire the beautiful creatures that she later figured out were called elves.

Luna reasoned that the elves looked similar to the Sandman and the one that had metal tentacles. The difference between the two was that the latter had textured skin and less protruding facial features.

"Do you think it's the elf world?" Celestia asked and she shook her head. It was completely different.

On the other hand, the Green Goblin as they had called him had a pointy nose and ears like the elves but unlike them, his skin was green.

"The Symbiote world?" Luna shook her head again.

"I saw one that looked like them there though." She recalled the black skinned creature with the extremely long tongue and frightening rows of teeth. "It was just him and a couple of other people."

"Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, hello!" They were interrupted by a familiar voice that accompanied two familiar faces.

"Hello Twilight, hey Spike!" Luna and Celestia greeted the two buddies that have been tied to the bone for the longest time. "What are you two doing here?" Celestia asked the duo who looked sharp and energetic as usual.

"We came to see if you need our help!" Twilight Sparkle replied proudly. She was always willing to help.

"Yeah, our help!" Spike added.

Luna looked at them before interrupting her sister.

"Yes, actually. We're trying to figure out something." She started. "I think we should go to the human world." Luna finally decided.

The octopus man and the Sandman resembled the humans so that was her best world.

"We?" Celestia chipped in. "If you two are here, who's in charge of the castle?" She asked and Spike giggled, his sharp green tail shaking with humor.

"We left Sunny and Izzy in charge." Twilight replied with an excited voice. "Let's go!"

"Yeah, let's do this!" Spike said happily.

"I guess we are doing this." Celestia said with a sigh.

Luna and Celestia gathered with the two and they immediately disappeared in a flash of pink light to the one planet they had never been to.

~~~
"Whoa!" Luna nodded in agreement at Spike's exclamation. It was really the right one.
Everything seemed a lot different from the other worlds that they had been to. The people that hardly noticed them as they walked past looked like elves but with less pointy features and different skin tones. They were like ponies in a way.
"Now how do we find the boy?" Luna looked over to her sister who had also transformed into a human to fit into the new society. Her tall frame towered over a bunch of children that played past them. The kids even cooed at Spike who was now a little cute dog.
"I don't know, but I think we're in New York?" She said as she saw the large New York City sign board. She pulled at her purple jeans, drawing up the waistline that seemed a bit droopy.
"We are." Twilight answered. "Where do we start looking, Princess Luna?"
Luna did not know. All she had seen was the boy and the bad people that had beat him up.
"In other news, police are yet to confirm the location of the Sinister Six." A news reporter's voice sounded, capturing all of their attention.
Footage of a destroyed building replaced the man on the TV. Debris from the building littered the street and completely destroyed that part of the road.
"Spider-Man, who was involved in the clash is nowhere to be found as well. I'm Stan Lee and this is NYC news." The program was replaced with an ad that Luna and the rest haven't seen before.
"Well, we know where to look now." Celestia said and they all teleported.
Just as they appeared in a dark alley, surprisingly to them, they met a creature that was familiar only to Luna.
The Green Goblin turned the head of a limp Spider-Man to the side.
"Yep, definitely dead." He lifted Spider-Man by the neck and flung him into a trashcan making the group gasp.
This sound forced the Goblin to snap in their direction.
"What?" His dark green face grazed across the alley. "Who's there?" Twilight immediately clasped Spike's mouth shut and Celestia did the same to Luna.
"We've got to go!" Celestia whispered harshly and almost immediately, Luna felt herself feel sorry. Her gloved palms became translucent as thin lines only outlined her figure.
They had all become invisible.
Goblin's bronze eyes swept over their unseen guns before hopping on his Goblin Glider.
"That was close." She sighed in relief as they became visible again. Immediately after Goblin flew away in his hoverboard, the group rushed to the unmoving boy.
"He's not breathing!" Celestia said with disbelief. "We are too late!" She tapped the boy's torn mask repeatedly but got no reply from him.
He was dead.
"I-" Luna was speechless as she watched Cel, Twilight and Spike fuss over the boy. If she had deciphered the vision earlier, they could have saved him.
"No, it's not your fault." Celestia snapped at her, knowing she was feeling guilty. "You did your best. It's the green thing's fault."
She watched a part of the boy's face that had been badly wounded with the part of the mask being torn away.
She had to do something.
"We have to bring him back." Luna's announcement made all three of them look at her in shock.
"Is that not extremely complicated?" Twilight Sparkle asked, looking at Princess Celestia who still cradled Spiderman in her arm.
"It is, but we have to try! We just can't let him die." She reasoned and Celestia shook her head.
"No Luna. He's gone. Let's just leave." It was Luna's turn to shake her head stubbornly.
"We have to help him." She and her sister held eye contact before Celestia sighed in defeat.
"Fine." She mumbled, placing a palm on Spider-Man's chest. "Come on, I can't do this alone."
Luna smiled in appreciation as her hand rested on the back of her sister's palm as well. Twilight and Spike followed too.
They channeled their powers to bringing the boy back to life.
From their touch, a warm orb surged with spirals of pink, blue, purple and green. The colours danced through the spaces in their fingers, intertwining, detaching and finally disappearing into the boy's chest.
For a brief moment, nothing happened.
"He is not waking up. Why is he not waking up?" Celestia sadly whispered.
Luna angrily wiped a pained tear that rolled down her face before anyone could see it.
Celestia gently tapped the boy's face and sighed when she got no response.
"He's not waking up." Twilight repeated.
Their heads lowered in silence and in respect to the life that they had just lost until they heard a soft sigh. They looked at him just in time to see his exposed hazel coloured eye flutter open.
"Who are you people?"
