His eyes lazily danced across the empty room. He closed them back in tiredness. His body felt like all the blood in him had been sucked out and replaced with lead.
Mustering another round of courage, he tore his heavy eyelids open again. His gaze finally rested on a pony sitting beside him. The pony's caramel fur complemented the room that was so bright it made his eyes squint with discomfort.
"You're finally awake." She greeted softly, blowing air through her muzzle. He stared at her in confusion for a long second and tried to push himself off the extremely comfortable bed.
The pony aided him in sitting up.
"There there. Careful now." She cooed as he steadied himself and placed his face in his palms. Manuel felt horrible. "Do you need some water? Celestia healed you as much as she could. You may need more time to rest."
"Healed me?" He cringed at how rough his voice sounded and accepted the glass of water she handed him with gratitude.
It felt like he had not had a drink of water in years.
"I knew you would be thirsty." She dropped the glass lightly and turned her attention back to him.
"Thank you. Who are you?" He had had his share of ponies while fighting alongside Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, and Trixie. He had no idea who the strange one was.
"Applejack." She answered with a warm smile. "How do you feel?" Her green eyes seemed to draw him in, forcing him to feel at ease with her.
"I feel like shit." He replied, making her chuckle. "Where am I?"
He looked around the room again.
The room seemed like a simple cozy place with somewhat weird ornaments as strange trinkets littered the tables with a horse-shaped sofa right in the middle. The vibrant paint added a regal feel to the entire room.
"Ponyville, Equestria." His eyes widened at the revelation.
He was in the world of ponies.
"What? How did I get here?" Manuel asked, watching her eyes contort in confusion.
The last thing that he remembered was the Sinister Six attacking him. Sinister Six-
"Osborn!" He exclaimed, fear almost choking him.
"Calm down. Who are you talking about?" Applejack asked as he shut his eyes forcefully.
All he could see was the destruction those six had caused and the pain he felt at that moment. He had seen his life flash before his eyes.
"What happened?" He asked, ignoring her questions. "How did I-"
"Oh, he is finally awake!" A voice called before its owner became visible. It was a purple pony with a striking indigo-coloured mane.
"That's good news." A much taller one replied.
Two ponies and a strange-looking tiny dragon followed the two of them.
"Didn't expect him to survive the trip." A blue pony quipped nastily but was quickly reprimanded by the white one.
He recognized some of them.
He had seen them during the few seconds he gained consciousness.
"Are you feeling alright?" The purple one asked, making him weakly nod in response. He felt no pain while his entire body made him feel as heavy as a horse.
"Yes. Who are you people?" He felt comfortable with Applejack. The six new strangers unnerved him.
"Oh, I'm Luna." The purple one- Luna answered. "This is my sister, Celestia, while the rude one is Rainbow Dash. That's Twilight while the dragon is Spike and don't let his cuteness deceive you. He is a little devil." Her last comment made the purple and green dragon whine in protest.
"How did I end up here?" Manuel would have loved to learn about his saviors but he wanted to know how he got to Ponyville.
"Well, you were dying and we saved you." Luna answered. "We figured that the guys that attacked you might come again. We brought you here for your protection."
He watched them wordlessly before slowly nodding.
"So I'm not on Earth?" He asked carefully, making Rainbow Dash scoff.
"Well, duh."
He ignored her chide and turned his attention to the kinder group.
"It's only a matter of time until he finds me." His words made them stare at him in confusion.
"Who?" Applejack asked. All the while, she had been rubbing a comforting hoof down his back. It soothed the numbness that he was experiencing.
"Him, Norman Osborn, aka The Green Goblin." He replied making Rainbow Dash mutter a 'who the heck is that?'.
"He's the green man that almost caught us," Celestia explained. "Do not worry, he won't find you here." She tried to reassure him but Manuel shook his head.
"He will. I have to be ready for him when he comes." He tried to get up but was stopped by a massive headache that rattled his entire form.
"Are you okay?" Applejack was quick to stop him from falling while he nodded weakly. It had gone as quickly as it came.
His Spider-Sense had never been so intense. Even in his feeble state, he could tell that there was something wrong.
"I'm fine. It was just a headache." He said half-truthfully.
He could not risk giving out his identity to strangers even though they had saved him.
"You should lie down a bit. The other ponies have been dying to meet you." Luna said kindly as his head touched the pillow once again. "We will visit you when you're feeling better."
After her words, they all left him to rest.
Manuel laid in the comfortable bed for a few minutes wondering what would happen if the Sinister Six eventually found him. They would attempt to kill him again, that was for sure.
But still, if they believed they had succeeded the first time, he would have no problems with them. No, Osborn will always have a way to find me.
The Goblin would find him in no time.
"Ah!" The familiar sting made itself known, sending shockwaves to the base of his skull. Something bad was going on and it was pretty close to him.
It took a while for the blinding pain to subside but it was enough time to get him out of the bed.
He stretched with a loud yawn, cringing as his joints popped back into place.
Luckily, he found a bathroom filled with all the necessities he would need and he silently thanked the ponies. Unfortunately, he would not be able to use them at that moment; there were other important things.

Manuel landed on the thatched roof of the large hut with a small thud. He still felt a bit frail but was quickly recovering. At least his superpowers were useful.
Exhaling loudly, he took in the scene below him.
A group of rouge ponies was getting beat up by three others. The three were significantly bigger and more experienced than the rouge ones.
From the corner of his eye, he saw a pony running away with a bag of what appeared to be money but the trio was too busy to notice that he was escaping.
Shooting out webs from his web-shooters, he caught the escaping pony and pulled him back.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked as he tossed him back into the chaos, successfully knocking out another rogue in the process.
The ponies had tied up the thieves and did not notice the newest addition on time until-
"Manuel?" He turned to see a familiar set of purple eyes staring back at him. He recognized them instantly.
"Trixie?" He asked, trying to grasp the reality of meeting her there.
"Manuel!" This voice was unmistakably Starlight's and a happy huff from a friendly fiery friend, Sunset.
"Oh my God, Manuel!" The criminals were long forgotten by the time the three of them tackled Spider-Man with a hug.
"You're going to kill me again!" He joked breathlessly as they finally got off of him.
"We heard what happened and we came as soon as we could," Trixie explained as Sunset pulled him up to his feet.
"Are you alright?" Manuel chuckled at the number of times he had heard the question that day. "You should still be resting."
"I feel better already. My Spider-Sense would not stop tingling until I came to see what was going on." He explained and they nodded in understanding.
He was glad they already knew him well enough and would not need to ask unnecessary questions.
"What are you going to do with those guys?" He asked as Starlight tightened the rope around the unconscious ponies.
"Don't worry, the police will come to get them!" True to her words, a police truck was present at the scene before they left.
"You're lucky Luna and Celestia got to you on time. You would have been one for real." Trixie said as they walked through the town.
"Give me a second, I've got to change." He quickly said, running off to a dim alley. It was almost nighttime and he did not need anyone to know who he was.
After changing back to Manuel the ponies knew they rescued, he returned back to the trio.
"So you don't want them to know you're Spider-Man huh?" Sunset chirped and he nodded.
"I should not have exposed my identity like that. Goblin could find me."
"Goblin does not even know Equestria exists, relax." Starlight cooed, immediately lowering her voice as a familiar group approached them.
"Oh thank goodness." Applejack exclaimed as she rushed to them and trapped Manuel in a hug. "Where did you go? We searched everywhere for you!" She said while he just laughed nervously and tried to remove himself from her death grip.
"I'm alright. I just felt cooped up in there and wanted to take a walk. I apologize for worrying you guys." He answered lightly, making Applejack shake her head.
"No need to apologize, sweety. Oh, this is Sunny and Izzy." She gestured at the two new ponies while he wondered how many they were.
It was certain that he was going to have a hard time keeping up with them.
"Come on, let's go to the castle!" Luna interjected, making the rest of them cheer in approval.
As he walked with them, his thoughts drifted back to Earth, would he ever go back there?
