Chapter 1218

Bone

Anna and Young Allison watched the interrogation of the two females at the old newspaper plant.

Young Allison often thought about the things that happened to Allison, Vanna and Jesse. They were awful things. They were things that could be survived. If one survived, then they won. They weren't defeated.

To hear the story from the teenager Savannah questioned was troubling to her. Bad things happened in the present too. They didn't need to wait for the future. She knew there were men that followed her before. She figured out what happened to them too. The Terminators 'took care of them'. No other young females enjoyed the same level of protection she did. Any of those things could have happened to her. Apparently in every future they did too.

"…CamNet?" Anna asked.

Young Allison wasn't paying attention. She was lost in a world of 'what ifs'. Vanna, Jesse and Allison were proof that some things were more than 'what ifs'.

"I'm sorry." Young Allison said. "I lost my concentration."

Anna knew what she was thinking about. It was something Savannah thought about too. She looked at some of the files associated with the very topic from the 'Neural Interface' with Savannah.

"It's understandable." Anna said. "No one wants to be treated in such a manner. I wouldn't want it either."

Anna was provided with new information from CamNet. She found it somewhat disturbing. She also thought it was unnecessary and dangerous. She informed Young Allison what Cam planned to do. CamNet was concerned about it. She didn't think it was necessary or safe in a civilian jet. She wanted Young Allison's input.

Young Allison was pleased CamNet wanted her input. Maybe that was just to take her mind off the girl. The more she thought about it, the more sure she was. There was something else that still troubled her.

"I don't know how much my input is worth." Young Allison said. "It doesn't appear Cameron listened to me."

Anna thought Cameron did listen. All indications were Sheila wanted to do what she was doing. It was her choice this time. She wanted to remind Young Allison there were other things she could have done to be a little sterner.

"You didn't 'order' Cameron." Anna said. "It's something you could have done. It's something you can still do."

Young Allison knew it was a personal decision. It wasn't a Resistance matter.

"I shouldn't need to do it." Young Allison said. "Everyone knows right from wrong."

Anna wanted Young Allison to remember Cameron was her program. It could be in many different places. It could be in anything from a server to another chassis."

"Cameron is her program." Anna said. "It was a private matter."

Young Allison wanted anyone to be able to say 'no'. She didn't want anyone to get in her way with her sex life when it expanded. She believed it was all about choice.

"I understand." Young Allison said. "As long as everyone involved has a choice and can change their mind at any time, I don't care. It's not my decision to make, at least not at this time. Later on I'll have better standing and my desires will be respected."

Anna felt Cameron followed Young Allison's directives exactly.

"Cameron followed those guidelines." Anna said. "Sheila was there by her own choice in the end."

Anna received some additional troubling information about Cam. She gave Young Allison a quick briefing.

Young Allison wanted to stay with the operational matters. Cam looked like another problem. It was a time sensitive issue.

"Let's deal with Cam for now." Young Allison said. "Let me speak with her."

Anna gave her a current update.

"CamNet will make the connection." Anna said. "They've lifted off and have dropped back down to just above the waves."

CamNet made the connection. After pleasantries, Young Allison got to the point.

"Cam, I'd prefer you adhere to FAA guidelines and not exceed the recommended performance levels of the aircraft." Young Allison said. "I'm asking you to do it."

Cam took corrective action. She gained some altitude.

"I've climbed to five hundred feet." Cam said.

Young Allison knew it was at the low end of the scale.

"A little margin for any mishaps would be good." Young Allison said.

John Henry was very pleased to hear Young Allison come across their coms.

"We're at seven hundred feet now." John Henry said.

Cam quickly reconsidered what options were available to her.

"I'll only make one pass and skip the high performance climb." Cam said. "Thank you for your concern. I'll only do one aerobatic maneuver. It's often performed at air shows."

Young Allison was pleased things were at least a little less risky now.

"Keep it safe." Young Allison said. "Remember there are people that care about you. Vanna is waiting for your return. Savannah has taught me I only need to push the outside of the envelope when it's necessary. There's a difference in how things are done."

Cam didn't think her behavior was overly excessive.

"Does Cameron do that?" Cam asked.

Young Allison felt she did when Savannah was with her. She wouldn't hesitate to intervene when she felt it was necessary. As to whether Cameron would listen to her or not, she really didn't know. She would still give her 'two cents worth'. It would at least be something for Cameron to think about. She felt whenever she gave her input or opinion, it might have some effect. She really didn't know.

"I'll call her if I'm aware of anything that presents unnecessary danger." Young Allison said. "Cameron has taught me to 'push' everything. I need to remind her I can't get a new chassis or sheath like she can. I don't have a replacement chip or a backup program."

Young Allison thought she'd made her point.

"Thank you." Cam said. "We will be wheels down on One Six Right in fifty nine minutes."

They ended the connection.

Anna was surprised Cam listened.

"Things seemed to go well." Anna said.

Young Allison frowned. She knew there could be an agreement or temporary compliance. She was also aware there were other ways around things. Nothing was ever written in stone, even if it was.

"I thought it went well with Cameron too." Young Allison said. "I was wrong."

Anna still believed Cameron followed Young Allison's directives. Some of the information was private.

"CamNet can't offer you any details as to what's actually happened." Anna said. "It's a personal matter."

It seemed pretty clear to Young Allison.

"I know what happened." Young Allison said.

Anna did too. Cameron wasn't done. She wanted to give Young Allison a reminder in case she wanted to try one more time.

"It will happen again." Anna said.

Young Allison knew how it worked.

"I'm sure it will." Young Allison said. "The more someone does something, the easier each 'next time' becomes."

Anna understood what Cameron wanted and she understood what Young Allison wanted.

"Cameron wants John to have a good time." Anna said. "She wants to as well. It's a unique opportunity she's able to take advantage of."

Young Allison didn't think the term 'unique opportunity' accurately described it. There was something about it that just rubbed Young Allison the wrong way. Savannah warned her sometimes things happen and they happen fast.

"I think we've talked about it enough." Young Allison said.

Anna could tell Young Allison was irritated. She wondered how Young Allison's anger would affect her decision making. It could be a test.

"Savannah is nearing completion of her interrogation." Anna said.

Young Allison was already cooled down. She saw things a little differently. At least it wasn't a Terminator style interrogation. Not yet anyway.

"It seems more like an effort to help the female rather than an interrogation." Young Allison said.

Anna was sure Savannah's actions would prevent the girls from certain termination. If Savannah wasn't there, she was sure both girls would have been beaten to death. There was still a lot of suspicion in their stories and both of their bodies looked like someone recently back from the future. They could really be part of the anti-Metal faction.

"Savannah is very skillful." Anna said. "She's watched the Terminator method and devised a supplement to it."

Young Allison wanted to make sure it was still clear around the location.

"What do the drones around the area show?" Young Allison asked.

Anna hadn't seen any threats detected.

"There are no new developments or movements around the area the team is in." Anna said. "CamNet is watching at altitude as well as on the deck for any hostile HK drones or suspicious vehicles."

Young Allison was aware two more drones arrived. They weren't transmitting data.

"Are all of our drones there now?" Young Allison asked. "I don't see data from two of them."

Two more drones were activated upon Young Allison's suggestion. CamNet knew just the two drones for the job.

"Those are two extra drones that have volunteered for a special mission." Anna said. "They wish to assist in your directive."

Young Allison figured they already started.

"Do you mean to search for the truck and truck driver?" Young Allison asked.

Anna knew what Young Allison desired.

"Yes." Anna said.

Young Allison wanted some follow up. There was a future 'Scavenger' out there and 'the future' was searching for him.

"I appreciate it." Young Allison said. "Have them turn it into a wide recon until our team has withdrawn and everyone is clear of the old newspaper plant. Afterwards they may resume their efforts."

Anna thought things were winding down.

"Do you still suspect something?" Anna asked.

Young Allison still didn't like the vibe.

"Yes." Young Allison said. "Ask John Henry's server to shut down all communications around where our team is at."

Anna relayed the message.

"It will cause many disruptions." Anna said.

Young Allison felt CamNet and 'JH' would have to 'spin' it.

"Do it anyway." Young Allison said. "Someone could have long range surveillance on the area."

Anna pointed out the communications disruption could also alert someone.

"They would know our team is there by now." Anna said. "The communications blockage could also trigger the same effect."

Young Allison knew somewhere there were still Grays who were associated with the old newspaper plant and the roving boxcars. They'd hit most of the operation but there was still something out there somewhere. They may have staked out the location to see who else showed up. They might be watching for Fanatics or the anti-Metal faction. The condition of those girls' bodies sent out a red flag.

"I know it." Young Allison said. "I want everyone on maximum alert until our teams are safely away."

She doubted the operation was almost over. Nothing ever seemed to be over. No matter how many times they killed some version of Skynet. Another version of it always rose its ugly head back up. Skynet was truly a Hydra.

John Henry listened to everything Young Allison said to Cam. She was one hundred percent correct in everything she'd stated.

He looked at Cam. She wasn't a happy camper.

"You don't seem pleased." John Henry said.

Cam knew what she wanted to do and she knew Young Allison was right. The 'Cameron' in her was very uneasy.

"I'm not." Cam said. "Young Allison is correct though. I do know it."

John Henry was aware of Cam's motivation.

"You wanted to make a statement." John Henry said.

Cam believed since Young Allison was involved, her statement was made without actually having to make it.

"I did." Cam said. "It's unnecessary."

John Henry kept his eye on the ship.

"We're almost there." John Henry said.

Cam checked her restraints and those of John Henry.

John Henry checked his safety gear and Cam's too.

"We're both good." Cam said.

John Henry was sure of the maneuver she was about to perform.

"Will it be an 'eight point' or 'four point'?" John Henry asked.

Cam thought of a 'sixteen point' but they would be by the ship too quickly. She would keep it to an 'eight point'. She cut back on her speed.

"I've slowed so it will be a quick and precise 'eight point'." Cam said.

John Henry braced himself and prepared to back her on the controls if necessary. He knew it wouldn't be.

"I'm ready." John Henry said.

He was the copilot after all.

Cam judged the distance to the ship.

"Hang on." Cam said.

The group in the buffet all looked out the giant picture window. Holly told them exactly where to look so they could see the jet approach and not need to search for it.

The jet came into view. It started an aileron roll then rapidly moved through eight rotational positions. The altitude of the jet never varied.

Sarah only saw the maneuver performed at air shows before.

"That's something you don't see every day." Sarah said.

Riley was glad it was nothing more dangerous than it was.

"I thought it would have been something more extreme." Riley said.

Kyle stated what they were all thinking.

"Cameron wasn't flying." Kyle said.

Derek was pleased with the maneuver.

"I saw a Bone do a double aileron roll on YouTube." Derek said. "It was very impressive."

Riley was unfamiliar with the terminology. She wasn't sure where Derek was headed with it. She wanted a little better clarification.

"A bone?" Riley asked. "This isn't going to be a sexual joke is it?"

Kyle watched the video too. He knew what a Bone was.

"He means a B-1 bomber. If you spell it out, it's B One or Bone." Kyle said "I saw the video too. It wasn't done in 'points' like this was. It was still quite impressive for such a large aircraft. It was outside its normal performance envelope."

They watched the jet disappear as it climbed for altitude.

Sarah checked the time. They would dock soon.

"Do you want to go to the front of the ship when you're done?" Sarah asked.

Riley looked at Derek. There was something else she wanted to try. Talk of a 'Bone' made her think of it.

"I want to try out our new room." Riley said.

Derek didn't think he was going to be up to it. He wanted to make up a quick excuse.

"We need to give the girls some time with the rooms and not make them feel rushed." Derek said. "We can hit the main dining room for the fancy sit down breakfast. Cameron told us to check it out."

Kyle wanted to see what it offered.

"Nice." Kyle said. "I'm in."

Riley looked a little disappointed.

"I guess we're not going to watch the 'ship' dock then…." Riley said.

Derek and Kyle looked at each other.

Sarah looked a little disappointed as well.

Ally and Hanna joined Jim and Bob on the Control Center balcony. They figured Cam would show off on her flyby.

"What's Cam going to do?" Ally asked.

Jim heard the intervention with Young Allison and Cam at CamNet's urging.

"Not what she was." Jim said. "CamNet asked Young Allison to speak to Cam."

Ally frowned again.

"Let's see if she has any more influence with Cam than she does with Cameron." Ally said.

Jim believed Cameron changed her original plan and followed Young Allison's directive. Ally didn't listen.

"Young Allison told Cameron if everyone agreed, it was up to them." Jim said. "Cameron followed her directive. Sheila was given a choice to be with John on her own, first."

Ally was still steamed. She felt something was taken from her by Cameron and something was really going to be taken from Sheila by Cameron. The whole thing rubbed her raw.

"I'm going to go in there." Ally said. "Sheila wasn't herself."

Hanna was sure a lot was about to change. She was sure Sheila would be different afterwards. She wasn't really sure how.

"Sheila won't be who she was." Hanna said.

Hanna reflected on some of Vanna's memories from the 'Neural Interface'. Only the ones involving females were pleasant memories.

Bob appeared behind them.

"Everyone needs to chill out." Bob said.

Ally wondered why he was there.

"Is that why you're here?" Ally asked. "Who sent you?"

The 'Chosen One' contacted him personally to troubleshoot for the girls.

"Savannah asked me to keep an eye on things so there wouldn't be any problems when Summer and Jan were on board." Bob said. "That's what I'm doing."

Hanna wanted Claire to have a good time even if she spent most of it with Jesse.

"We need to think about the others too." Hanna said. "None of them get out much for any kind of vacation."

Jim didn't think it was very long. Even if anyone in the group did go out, it was never for more than a few days anyway.

"Even now it will only be a couple of days for them." Jim said. "This will help them remember what we're fighting for."

Hanna looked forward to seeing the girls.

"I'll be glad to see Summer and Jan." Hanna said.

Ally thought she would be a lot happier to see someone else.

"You'll be glad to see Claire." Ally said.

Bob looked at the Metal girls and asked the question everyone wanted to ask but no one dared.

"Are you going to do what Cameron wants, Hanna?" Bob asked.

Hanna looked towards the suite Sheila was in. It wasn't something she wanted to do. The 'Vanna' inside of her was repulsed by the idea. She did have her own personal curiosity. She wanted to have a choice more than anything. She didn't want to hear any flak from Ally.

"No." Hanna said. "It's not my plan."

Ally knew how Cameron operated. She never played fair. She wanted to give Hanna something to think about.

"What if it comes down to you or Claire?" Ally asked.

Hanna frowned. She knew there wasn't a choice. She would need to step up. She would prefer to keep Claire out of John's bed as long as possible. She was pretty sure once Claire was in John's bed, she wouldn't be leaving.

"I'll go in her place." Hanna said.

Ally pointed out the obvious.

"Don't you think Cameron knows it?" Ally asked.

Bob knew it.

"Cameron seems to know how to play the game well." Bob said.

Ally felt there was only one way to stop Cameron.

"There's only one person that can stop her." Ally said.

"Savannah…." The other three Terminators said.

Savannah made it clear she wasn't going to be on the ship.

"She's not coming." Hanna said. "We'll all lose our purity."

Ally looked at Bob and Jim.

"All SEVEN of us Terminators will." Ally said.

Bob was unaware two more female Terminators were coming. Cam had the opportunity to join the group about to board. She chose to return to the Resistance base instead.

"There are only five of you." Bob said.

Ally looked at Bob for a few seconds and at Jim for a few more.

"All SEVEN of us will find out." Ally said again.

Jim and Bob looked at each other. They were clearly worried.

It seemed only Savannah on board would 'save' them.

Hanna didn't want that for Savannah under those conditions. She didn't want Savannah forced into something she really didn't want to do. She knew Vanna certainly wouldn't want it.

"I won't ask Savannah to compromise herself." Hanna said. "I won't allow it."

Ally held her hands up to shoulder height alongside her in disgust.

"See what I mean." Ally said. "We've all lost before the game even started."

Bob spotted the jet in the distance. It was traveling at a high rate of speed.

"Here they come." Bob said.

They watched Cam do her eight point aileron roll flyby. The show was over as quickly as it had begun.

"It's back to work." Jim said.

Ally went to look around the balcony partition into the Owner's Suite. She wanted to see if she could spot anything happening.

Hanna knew it would be a wasted effort. They would be in the bedroom.

"Let it go." Hanna said. "You'll only make it worse."

Ally looked at the balcony to the Owner's Suite. She threw her hands up in the air.

"Whatever…." Ally said.

Hanna shrugged her shoulders.

Ally looked totally disgusted.

Al came over and spoke with Savannah.

"My associate will sit with you for a few minutes." Savannah said.

The girl looked worried Savannah was leaving.

"What about my friend?" The girl asked.

Al tried to reassure her but only may have frightened her.

"She'll join you shortly." Al said. "They're trying to get a better description of the truck and its driver."

The girl seemed less afraid with the prospect of the truck driver being apprehended.

"Are you going to catch him?" The girl asked.

Al didn't know what they'd be able to discover.

"If it's possible, we will." Al said.

Savannah was now aware of Young Allison's directive. She wasn't very surprised. She knew Young Allison would follow everything that was happening. She wanted to speak with Cammy too.

Cammy filled her in on all the details from the Young bunker.

Savannah didn't like the possible threat. It was her suspicion as well. There was no way to know yet what was going to happen.

"Young Allison still thinks we're being set up." Savannah said. "If they did have some long range surveillance, they know we're here. Action may already be in play to attack us."

Cammy didn't want to get caught up in speculation.

"We don't know one way or the other." Cammy said. "It could be one of the other groups we need to fight as well."

Savannah was worried they might be overreacting.

"Or none of them." Savannah said.

Cammy stood. She wanted to get things wrapped up.

"I'll terminate the girl now." Cammy said.

Savannah wondered what changed. She didn't see any reason for a termination. She wanted to help the girls. She was worried Cammy might be jealous.

"Why?" Savannah asked. "What for?"

Cammy felt the girls put Savannah in danger. There was a price to pay for endangering her.

"The girls are responsible for drawing us here either by accident or on purpose." Cammy said.

Savannah didn't want a needless execution.

"I don't want them killed." Savannah said.

Cammy disliked the entire situation.

"You don't know if anything they told you is true or not." Cammy said. "LOOK at them."

Savannah did worry about them being from the anti-Metal faction.

"I don't know." Savannah said.

Cammy pressed the issue. She still wanted to terminate them.

"They could be Grays or more likely anti-Metal, right out of the future." Cammy said. "LOOK at them."

Cammy stressed the point of their appearance.

Savannah wanted better answers. There was a way to make sure they were being told the truth.

"Go back and scan her as I go over everything again." Savannah said. "If she's clean, we're leaving here with them, alive."

Cammy saw her chance to finish them off.

"If she is dirty, then what happens?" Cammy asked.

Savannah made a choice. It was really no choice.

"Then we leave here without them." Savannah said.

Savannah put the silencer on her M9.

Cammy didn't like where things were headed. She didn't want Savannah to be the one to terminate them.

"I'll take care of it." Cammy said.

Savannah made the choice. She would carry out the decision. If she was going to be responsible for someone's death, she thought it was only just to kill them herself. She wouldn't send others to do her 'dirty work'. It made the 'dirty work' too easy. To actually do it, would make her think about what she did.

"I'll do it." Savannah said. "I need to live with the consequences."

Savannah thought about 'those eyes'. She often remembered when she could see the life fade out of the eyes of the female Gray she'd strangled. The female Gray tried to strangle her first. She defended herself in the same way. She remembered Cameron's hands rested on top of hers to make sure she finished the job. She would have stopped before the female Gray died otherwise.

Cammy didn't like Savannah killing in cold blood. She hoped Young Allison picked up on what was developing there and called Savannah. Then again, Young Allison may want to get her 'feet wet' and do it herself. No, Savannah wouldn't allow it. It's why she was going to do it herself. Now Cammy hoped Young Allison wasn't following what they were doing closely.

Cammy wanted to take Savannah to see CamNet more than ever at this point.

What Cammy feared earlier, she gladly welcomed now. She would rather watch Savannah in CamNet's arms than fighting for her life like she'd witnessed before.

Earlier:

Allison watched things unfold from the lab monitors.

"I don't like the direction things are going." Allison said.

Vanna wanted to keep the mood light.

"You just don't like it because Savannah gave the girl her shirt." Vanna said.

Vanna finished with Precious and joined Allison to see what was happening.

"The girl is pretty sickly looking." Allison said.

Vanna could see it too.

"Do you think she's from the future?" Vanna asked.

It was Allison's first impression. She wanted to see if Vanna felt the same way.

"I don't know." Allison said. "Was it your first impression?"

Vanna wasn't sure if it was her first impression or not. Her first impression was to look at the topless female.

"It was a thought." Vanna said. "We must alert CamNet."

Samantha felt the issue was already addressed.

"CamNet will be aware of your concerns." Samantha said.

Vanna contemplated several scenarios. None of them were good.

"It would make her a Gray, which seems doubtful, or one of the anti-Metal faction." Vanna said. "Both of which can be deadly to our group."

Savannah wondered how both Vanna and Allison took the girl's story. She personally found some aspects of it quite disturbing.

"What about the story she told?" Samantha asked.

Allison wanted to see how Samantha would handle it.

"As a Terminator, how would you rate it?" Allison asked.

Samantha thought there were better ways to find out the truth.

"I would Terminate her." Samantha said. "I would beat the truth out of her first."

Allison read it the same way too for a Terminator's response. She figured anyone from the future would know the same thing.

"The two girls would have to know it as well." Allison said. "They couldn't expect Savannah to be there. They would have to know they would face termination."

Vanna could see things played out differently. There were ways to force people to do things they didn't want to do. People could be lied to. People could be tricked. People could be promised one thing and end up with another.

"Maybe they're patsies." Vanna said. "They may not have known what they were getting into."

Allison didn't like any of the prospects or theories.

"I don't like how this is going to end." Allison said.

Vanna saw something she didn't approve of. She watched Savannah's body cam as she attached the silencer to her M9.

"It looks like Savannah is going to kill her. It will be in cold blood." Vanna said.

Samantha thought the fate of the girl would be determined by her truthfulness.

"Cammy's going to scan her first." Samantha said. "It will be like a 'lie detector' test."

The girl's fate was in her own hands right now. If she was lying, she was dead.

Larry and Hank could see what was about to occur. It was apparent the female Fanatic was about to be abused by at least one of the two men. They could do nothing and watch the abuse occur. They knew it didn't really matter because all three of them were going to be terminated anyway. Maybe now was the time to act. They wanted to know where the two men came from.

The first man was clearly disturbed by what the second man was about to do.

"Stop what you're doing." The first man said.

"Come on, man, I'll be done in a few minutes." The second man said. "It won't take long. You know how things work."

"No." The first man said. "As your superior, I'm ordering you to stand down."

"Fine, I'll wait until she's tied up in our sleeping quarters." The second man said.

"What if she's on our team?" The first man asked.

The second man could see a multitude of scars and sores, which hadn't quite healed yet, on her exposed torso.

"If she's from the future, which she is, you know it's happened plenty already." The second man said. "It doesn't matter which team she's on. We've all endured our share of it as well."

"Let's try to leave the Wastelands behind us for now." The first man said.

"What do we do now?" The second man asked. "Do we wait for her to wake up and make her walk? I'm not going to carry her."

The first man looked disgustedly at the second man.

"Put that thing back in your pants." The first man said. "I'll carry her."

The second man seemed to want a little more.

"Let's just kill her and say she tried to jump us." The second man said. "You know they're just going to kill her anyway."

"We need to see what she knows, who she's with and why she's here." The first man said.

"Let me question her my way." The second man said. "They're always a lot more talkative when they know what's coming."

The second man laughed at his own joke.

"Shut up and pay attention." The first man said. "There could be more of them out there as well. Just because we only detected one, doesn't mean there was only one of them."

The second man quickly returned everything inside his pants and looked around in all directions. It was apparent survival was more important to him than what he was about to do a minute ago.

"I'll lead then." The second man said. "You carry the Bitch."

The first man picked up the unconscious woman and carried her over his shoulder.

Larry watched the two men head out. He was off to one side of them.

Hank was on the other side of the two men.

The drone images still only showed the five of them on the back side of the hill.

Larry moved ahead of the two men. They seem more concerned what was behind them, than what was in front of them.

Hank stayed behind the two men but remained well off to the side.

The two Terminators were a little surprised when the men abruptly stopped. The drone images weren't able to detect where they were at when they stopped.

Hank paused and looked around him.

"I've lost them." Hank said.

Larry was ahead of them and off to the side. He saw them pause before they'd disappeared.

"I think they've gone into an entrance." Larry said. "I don't know."

Hank remained off to the side as he closed in on the last position he observed them.

"This might be a sucker play like they used on the female Fanatic." Hank said.

Larry was concerned about the same thing.

"We will need to approach where they last were with extreme caution." Larry said.

Hank continued to look all around him. He wanted to make sure he didn't walk into the middle of something.

"I'll secure the direction we came from." Hank said.

Larry moved over to the direction the men had been traveling. He was directly in front of where they would have gone if they'd continued. He slowly started his way back down the hill. If the men were hiding, they would most likely have their attention focused on the way they'd come. If they entered some type of opening, he hoped to find it. They knew where the men were at just a minute ago. It shouldn't be too hard to locate.

Moments ago:

The two men neared their destination.

"Check the entrance good to make sure nobody wired it." The first man said.

The second man scoffed at the idea.

"The only other person around here was the Bitch you're lugging around." The second man said. "Once we get her inside I'm going to 'do' her. I don't care what you say. As soon as we turn her over for questioning, there's going to be a line of guys in front of us."

The first man looked over at the second man.

"You won't abuse her." The first man said. "You'll follow protocol."

The second man moved up to a large bush against the hillside. He reached over and moved a section of it out of the way. He entered some numbers into a control panel. There was a 'click' sound and a door opened.

The first man entered with the female.

The second man took one last look around. He didn't spot anything out of the ordinary. He reached around and moved the bush back over. There was another 'click' sound and the door was closed.

Larry was able to hear a distinct 'click' sound. He cautiously moved in the direction. It was slightly off to his side from where he'd been headed. He crept up to the edge of a rock and looked down. There was a depression with a giant bush on the side of the rock face. He did a quick thermal scan and detected there was a hidden opening.

"I found it." Larry said.

Hank kept a careful watch around him.

"I'll be there in less than a minute." Hank said.

The two men entered a passageway into an underground complex.

The first man set the female Fanatic down on the ground.

They were met by another man.

"Leave the prisoner and get back out there." The other man said.

"I have some unfinished business before I go back out." The second man said.

"I told you to drop it." The first man said.

The other man saw what was about to happen.

"We need to interrogate her first." The other man said.

"Just give me two minutes and then she's yours." The second man said. "I want her while she's still fresh."

The other man looked upset.

"We need to get back out there now." The other man said. "There may be a second contact."

"I told you she might not be alone." The first man said.

The second man looked very upset.

"Fine, we'll go back out." The second man said. "I get her first when the interrogation is done."

The two men who'd been out, prepared to go out again.

The other man checked over the female.

"She doesn't have much on top but she sure is sweet everywhere else." The other man said. "I'll make sure we save some for you."

The other man laughed. He took the female by her left ankle and started to drag her away.

The other two men headed back for the exit.

"She's going to be used up by the time it's our turn." The second man said.

The first man hurried the second man along.

"I'd worry about surviving." The first man said. "Let's get back out there."

The second man looked back at the female as she was pulled away by her ankle.

"If the next one is a Bitch too, I'm doing her." The second man said.

"We need to catch her first." The first man said. "Let's go out and see what we can find."

Bone

Pain comes in many forms
It can be physical pain
A more severe aliment
May be mental pain

Anguish in the mind
Can make one do many things
The more they try to blow it off
The more it burns and stings

Can any pain be controlled
Medication is dispensed freely
It may work for a time
But does it work really

Physical damage may heal
It often leaves a scar
Mental pain is only concealed
Behind a false avatar

When one is left alone
To themselves they must atone
The pain in the brain
Cuts deep to the bone

Nobody
