Been a while since I updated this story. LOL I did a little revision on the lemon in the last chpt. So, check it out if u want. Anyway, on with the chpt. I hope everyone's enjoying everything so far.
Shuyin awaited Tidus and Yuna outside the police station in Tidus' car, jamming to some tunes. He softy sighed, looking to his right only to see Tidus and Yuna exit the building, his arm around her waist and he instantly raised an eyebrow at that. They stopped momentarily, facing each other. Tidus said something to her and she nodded her head. He then caressed the side of her face with his hand, letting a few strands of her hair glide upon his fingertips. Shuyin wrinkled his eyebrows in bewilderment at Tidus' behavior towards Yuna.
Suddenly, a bright light is flashed right before his eyes. Shuyin yelled, rubbing his eyes. His vision soon adjusted where he was then face to face with a nerd in glasses and a camera around his neck.
"This will make an interesting story! City Cop's Partner Secretly In Love With The Girl He Secretly Loves." The nerdy tabloid dude said "Now I will get my promotion." He then snorted.
"Promote this!" Shuyin shouted, punching the tabloid tight square in the jaw who instantly fell to the ground where he laid unconscious. Shuyin then got out of the car, grabbed his camera and shredded the film that was inside and got back in the car as if nothing had happened.
Lenne stood in utter horror at what she looked upon, for there before her very eyes was him fully clothed in black and a black ski mask over his face. She slowly backed away while he began to approach her. Nearing the coffee table that stood before him, he grabbed it, hurling it across the room to clear his path. Lenne darted to the other side of the couch, however, her attempt was done in vain, for she head headed off by him. Crying from fear, all Lenne could think about doing was backing away while he continued to walk towards her.
Shuyin continued to jam along with the radio as Yuna and Tidus approached the car and upon reaching it, Tidus stood in front of the car door, crossed his arms over his chest and glared at Shuyin who in turn looked at him.
"What?" Shuyin pondered.
"Move!" Tidus ordered. Shuyin's eyes widened. "Get in the back!" Murmuring to himself angrily, Shuyin climbed in the back. Tidus then opened the car door for Yuna who got in and he closed it back. He then proceeded to the other side where he then got in himself and drove away into the night.
An evil cackle broke the silence of the night. The man lunged at Lenne who jumped in fright, which did nothing more than please him. Continuing backwards into the kitchen, Lenne came to a stop beside of the stove, slowly glided her hand over the handle of the frying pan and grasped it firmly and just when he was in her sights just right, she greeted him with that frying pan, striking him upside his head. He yelled out, falling to the floor where he laid in fetal position, rolling back and forth in pain while holding his head. Lenne jumped over him, darting around the corner. She darted down the dark hallway and rushed into the bedroom that Tidus had been using while staying there, closed and locked the door behind her. She then ran over and hid inside the closet.
Tidus drove down the road, very annoyed by Shuyin's constant singing. With an irritated growl, he turned the radio off. Yuna giggled to herself at their constant bickering. Shuyin rolled his eyes, shaking his head at Tidus.
"Must you always be so up tight, Ti?" Shuyin asked.
"Yes!" Tidus said. "And don't call me that!"
"Tidus, I know your dad- -"Shuyin trailed off when suddenly the car came to a dead stop.
Tidus' narrowed, angered eyes was enough to tell all. He turned towards Shuyin, giving him a deathly stare. "One more word out of you Shuyin and you'll be walking back to Rikku's house in the Sanubia Desert!" Shuyin threw his hands up in defeat.
"Tidus?" Yuna spoke softly with a slight hint of fear within it, hesitating to place her hand upon his shoulder. Tidus gave her the same deathly glare that he was giving Shuyin and she instantly withdrew her hand. And without a word spoken and the tires burning rubber, the car drove off at great speed.
Moments later. . .
Tidus pulled into a gas station off the coast of Zanarkand. Shuyin began filling it up while he walked inside, still mad as who knows what. Yuna wanted to walk inside with him, however, seeing him still angry like he was, avoided the concept.
"You can walk on inside with him, Yuna." Shuyin said. Yuna turned and looked at him. "His bark and worse than his bite. . .in most cases that is." With a hint of a smile, Yuna headed towards the store, however, just when she was about to reach other doorway, the urge hit her. She had to pee and bad. Therefore, she headed towards the bathroom located at the back of the building. Upon reaching the bathroom door, she grasped it and turned it only to find it locked.
Staggering to his feet, the psycho shook the cob webs from his head. He then looked around and began to search for Lenne. He walked down the hallway and upon noticing that only one door was shut, he headed for it. And upon reaching it, he tried to open the door only to find it locked. Angered beyond almost complete control, he withdrew a very large hunting knife from its side holster and began to stab the door where only seconds later, he managed to stab a hole midst it, reached in and unlocked the door, kicking it open where he then slowly entered the room.
"Dammit!' Yuna cursed. She then turned only to bump into someone strange whom unbeknownst to her followed her to the back of the building. She gasped, looking upon the stranger's features.
"Well, well, well." the stranger said, his voice slurred and slowed. "Aren't you a pretty sight." Yuna narrowed her eyes at the stranger. "My name's Seymour Guado."
"Charmed I'm sure." Yuna said not a bit amused.
"Aren't you that singer that tries to sing?" A drunken Seymour asked, slightly faltering in balance. "Come with me and I'll make you vocalize a whole other note, sweetheart."
"I'll pass." Yuna said, barely grazing his shoulder while trying to walk by him and he immediately grabbed her arms with great force.
"Don't you walk by me like that you sleazy little- -" Seymour began however, was cut off by a fist to his face and he instantly staggered backwards into several garbage cans, which turned over upon him.
"Tidus!" Yuna shouted, but it was no good. Tidus had lost control and the side of him that he didn't want Yuna to see was about to be brought to light.
Seymour struggled to get up and with the help of Tidus he surely made it to his feet only to be viciously slammed up against the back of the building where he was greeted by three sharp blows to his ribs and then an uppercut, which sent him sprawling to the ground. Breathing very hard from anger, Tidus grabbed a bloody Seymour and drew his fist back for one hard, final blow until Shuyin grabbed him, and with all his might, forced Tidus off of Seymour.
"Enough, Tidus!" Shuyin tried to hold him back, but with little success, for Tidus was a bit stronger than he was. "TIDUS!" Shuyin then turned, pushing Tidus forward. "Stop this!" Tidus panted from sheer anger as he gave Shuyin a deathly glare.
"Get out of my way, Shuyin!" Tidus warned.
"And if I refuse?" Shuyin asked
"Then you'll suffer the same fate that bastard just endeared." Tidus continued to warn. Shuyin shook his head. "DAMMIT, SHUYIN!"
"Walk it off, Tidus!" Shuyin demanded. "And when you've cooled off we'll head back to Rikku's place." Without another word spoken, Tidus stormed off towards his car, walking off into the distance from it.
"Tidus!" Yuna yelled in concern. "Tidus wait!" She then started to run after him, but was stopped by Shuyin.
"Yuna, no!" Shuyin warned, stepping in front of Yuna to stop her. "When Tidus is this angry it's best to leave him be."
"Shuyin- -" Yuna trailed off. "I just to make sure he's ok."
"He's a big boy, Yuna." Shuyin said. "He'll be fine." Yuna looked at Tidus who continued to walk off into the distance.
Slowly looking around, he listened for the slightest hint of a noise. Lenne held her breath while listening to the sound of his footsteps as he walked passed the closet. Suddenly, everything was quiet. Upon softly exhaling, Lenne shuddered when suddenly he began to bang on the closet door, for he knew she was in there. Lenne screamed as he scraped the blade of his knife upon the door while continuing to bang on it. He pulled violently at the door, which in turn jammed it loose. Flinging it open, he appeared in the doorway, glaring down upon Lenne.
Gippal and Rikku pulled up in her driveway, got out of the car and walked up on the front porch. Rikku smiled at him and just as Gippal was about to steal himself a good night kiss, a chilling scream and cry for help broke through the dead of night.
"Lenne!" Rikku shouted and she and Gippal immediately headed inside.
The wind blew through his gold trestles while he stood at the side of the road, gazing out upon the calm, swaying sea. He closed his eyes in content once he felt a pair of slender arms snake their way around his waist. He slowly opened his eyes back up, keeping them locked on the swaying water before him.
"Are you okay?" Yuna asked. Tidus refused to answer her. "We should get going while the night's still young." Tidus softly sighed when he felt her lean her head upon the back of his shoulder. He then slowly turned while she kept her arms locked around his waist. He pulled her to him, placing a chaste kiss upon her foreheads. Yuna then looked up at him, meeting his eyes with her own. She noticed the intenseness of his anger, however, the glare that was once present in his eyes had greatly softened. Letting go of his waist, Yuna glided her hands down his arms, lacing her fingers with his.
Leaning his forehead against her own and slowly parting his lips, Tidus leaned in and placed a soft, tender kiss upon her lips. Allured by a hint of his tongue, Yuna returned the favor while deepening the kiss, which in turn became more passionate.
"Let's go." Tidus said through chaste kisses upon her lips. And with a nod of her head and Yuna headed back for the car.
The psycho stood over Lenne like a predator over its prey when he immediately reached out for her. Gippal dashed inside the house, through the living room and down the hallway where Rikku followed suit. Lenne struggled with all of her might to try and free herself from the position she was now in, however, resistance was futile, for the psycho grabbed her by her ankles and dragged her out of the closet kicking and screaming. Grabbing her throat with his left hand to hold her down, he raised his knife high above. Lenne struggled to breath, grabbing his left hand and trying to pry it loose from her throat. Gippal and Rikku hear Lenne's muffled screams and cries and proceed to enter the room.
Angered even more that someone else was driving his car, Tidus sat in the back seat quiet as a mouse. Yuna got back there with him to keep him company or so that what she said when in turn every moron alive knows the exact reason why she got back there with him and that was to be as close to him as possible. Shuyin kept his eyes locked on the road, traveling down it at top speed. Yuna was beginning to get sleepy and Tidus noticed it right away. Therefore, he snaked his arm around her neck, offering her his shoulder to lean on, which she generously accepted. Yuna cuddled closely to him, resting her head upon his shoulder and closing her eyes. Tidus stroked her hair, letting it glide through his fingertips. Feeling her breath hit against his neck, it took everything in him to control certain urges, however, it got the better of him. Sneaking his lips closely to hers as possible, he placed a timid kiss upon them. Moments after parting, Yuna trailed heated kisses of passion along the side of his neck.
"Let's wait till we get back to Rikku's place." Tidus whispered seductively and Yuna nodded her head. He then noticed Shuyin watching in the rear view mirror and upon giving him the evil eyes, Shuyin looked back towards the road way.
The knife was held high into the hair, however, just as he was about to thrust the blade into her heart, he was greeted by a very large boot right square in the face, which sent him sailing backwards, tumbling and rolling before being stopped by the back of the wall. The knife slide across the floor, however, he was just within arms reach of it. Rikku rushed to Lenne's side who was crying hysterically, coughing a bit to try and gain control of her breathing. The psycho turned over onto his back, looking back only see an angry Gippal coming at him like a blood thirsty lupine. Acting fast, the man swiped his knife, jumped to his feet and lunged at Gippal, thrusting the blade right into his stomach. Groaning out loudly, Gippal fell to his knees, holding to the handle of the knife as he fall over onto his back. Lenne screamed and Rikku screamed out Gippal's name.
Shuyin pulled up in the driveway, turning the car off and getting out as well as Tidus and Yuna. Shuyin pulled Tidus aside while Yuna walked up on the front porch.
"What's the deal with you and Braska's girl?" Shuyin pondered in a teasing manner.
"Nothing that is any concern of yours." Tidus said sternly.
"Ti, I saw you kiss the girl." Shuyin added. Tidus glared at Shuyin who couldn't help but notice a certain little love bite located on the lower part of his neck that he was trying to hide with his shirt collar. "You didn't!" Tidus only gave him a sly smirk and walked away.
Suddenly, two chilling screams pierced the hearts of the trio outside, for they knew right then and there that something was most certainly wrong. Yuna hollered out Lenne and Rikku's name and started to run inside until she was stopped by Tidus.
"Let me go!" Yuna demanded.
"Stay here!" Tidus demanded also. He then withdrew his gun and made haste as well as Shuyin.
Running up the stairs, onto the porch and into the house, Tidus and Shuyin was very unsure of what might lye within. Taking extra precaution, the moved quickly. With their guns ready for any sudden movement, the proceeded through the living room and down the hall towards the back bedroom.
Walking towards the girls who had been backed into a corner, the psycho chuckled sinisterly, for he thought he was about to get three for the price of one. Gippal was trying his best to hang on to what little bit of life that was left within him.
"Death calls you on this night." the psycho teased. "Too bad your friend isn't hear to vast in this journey the two of you are about to take." He then shrugged his shoulders. "Guess she will have to venture it alone." He then feasted his eyes upon Rikku. "I can see the family resemblance. You're both equally luscious." He grasped the ends of Rikku's hair, feeling it's luster. "Is your skin as soft as your hair, my dear?" He then reached for Rikku face who instantly bite his index finger as hard as she possibly could. He jerked his hand back, yelling as he looked at his finger. "You little- -"
"DON'T MOVE!" demanded an angered, stern voice.
The man slowly turned and his eyes went wide once he saw both Tidus and Shuyin holding him at gun point. And through narrowed eyes, the trio glared at each other, watching for the first one to make a move.
"Tidus!" called out Yuna's voice, which instantly distracted both Shuyin and Tidus' attention and that's when things took on a whole other turn, for that psycho viciously grabbed Lenne and shoved her into Tidus and Shuyin, knocking them down. He then ran over to the window, taking it out as he jumped through it.
"He's getting away!" Tidus shouted in anger as he struggled to his feet as well as Shuyin and they raced out of the house. Rikku rushed over to Gippal to keep him talking till help was able to reach them. Making it to her feet, Lenne ran to Rikku's side.
Making his way around the house, the psycho immediately saw Tidus' car and headed for it, however, upon nearing it, he saw the one person who so wanted to get his hands on and that was Yuna. Taking advantage of the situation, he ran straight for Yuna and upon seeing him, tried to run away, but it was too take, for he grabbed her before she could get away. Screaming for help, Yuna struggled to free herself from his grasp as she was forced over to the car and forced inside.
Tidus and Shuyin exited the house only to see Yuna inside the car and the psycho getting in. "YUNA!" Tidus shouted and before anything could be done, the car started. "You moron! You left the keys in the car!" With the tired burning rubber upon the pavement below it, the car sped off. Tidus and Shuyin gave chase, shooting at the car in hopes of possibly taking out a tire, but to no avail, the car was out of sight before anything else could be said or done.
