Hey guys. Here's a short, but sweet chpt. It's what you'd call a prelude to the action scene just to get ur heart racing and ur blood pumping. Well I hope everyone enjoys it.
The chase was surely on and time was the most crucial thing if Bids was to get Hun back safe and sound. Medical help had arrived for Ripple and the girls where back up was on its way. Kids walked around the medical crew while talking on his cell phone where Shun was trying to find out some information.
"The car was seen headed towards Festive 1250." Tidus said over his cell phone.
"License plates read Tidus." Tidus rolled his eyes. "No, shit! That is my car, you dunce! That crazy ass psycho stole my car and my girl!" He grumbled under his breath. "That's none of your business or your concern! Just find that psycho so I can wrap my hands around his throat!"
"Tidus!" called Shuyin from behind. Tidus looked and saw Shuyin heading for him. Therefore, he put his phone away and met Shuyin halfway.
"Any news?" Tidus asked concerned.
"We just got word from the ZPD that your car was spotted on the outskirts of Zanarkand." Shuyin informed Tidus.
"DAMMIT! He's taking her to Zanarkand!" Tidus said angrily. "If he gets there with her before we can stop him, there's no telling where he'll take her and what he will do to her."
"It's going to be a while before back up can get here as well." Shuyin added
"What? Why!" Tidus asked.
"Apparently there was some sort of accident along the way here and some are tending to that where the rest is tied up in traffic." Shuyin said
"Son of a- -" Tidus trailed off, however, as he looked towards his right, he saw exactly what he needed, for there, within the shed located near Rikku's home was a motorbike.
Shuyin saw Lenne and Rikku who were saying goodbye to Gippal and he headed over to where they were. He placed his hands upon Lenne's shoulders, asking her something and she nodded her head, which lead to them embracing each other.
Tidus sighed at the sight before him. "You have your girl, Shuyin. It's time I went and recaptured mine,"
Seconds later. . .
Gloves were removed from his back pocket and he slipped them upon his hands. A jet black, sleek helmet was placed upon his head. Adjusting the strap beneath, he fixed it to where it was comfortable enough, flipped the face part down to protect his face. He then put the kick stand up, steadied the bike and then fired it up.
Everyone immediately turned their attention towards the shed only to see Tidus burst through the doors, which flew out as he reared the bike up on its back wheel. The front of the bike eventually fell to the ground, and increasing his speed, Tidus was now in pursuit of the manic psycho and the woman he loved with his whole heart.
"Brother's not gonna like this." Rikku said shaking her head.
The chase was certainly on now. Tidus raced down the dirt road, heading for the four lane highway that stretched out of the sea, leaving behind a trail of dust. There was no telling what this guy had in mind or what he intended to do to Yuna. All Tidus knew was that this guy certainly had every intention of doing some type of harm to her. Therefore, he must get to her before it was too late.
Tidus' car slowed to a stop just outside the outskirts of Zanarkand. Anyone rarely took the side road, which was a scenic outlook for visitors. Therefore, the psycho found it to be the perfect seclusion spot. Yuna was crying softly, just totally scared out of her mind. She didn't know what this guy was going to do to her whether it was to do her harm in some way or even possible kill her. The thoughts that ran through her mind only made her heart race at an even faster pace.
Without a word spoke, the psycho looked at Yuna and mysteriously got out of the car and slammed the door shut behind him. Everything grew to an eerie silence. No cars were coming down the road what so ever, the psycho was no where to be seen, but was close by, and Yuna was alone.
Wiping her tears away, Yuna eased up in the seat looking all around. Nothing was seen, nothing was heard, however, glass instantly shatter and a hand viciously grabbed the back of Yuna;'s hair. Screaming and grabbing the arm behind her, Yuna began to struggle to free herself. Sinister chuckles and evil laughter filled the air.
Knocking the loose glass off the window, the psycho, who continued to laugh, tried to pull Yuna through the car window. Pulling her out halfway, her skin being tattered and torn by sharp pieces of glass below her, her blood staining the side of the door as it flowed freely from her open wounds, however, his laughter stopped and he released Yuna once he heard the sound of an approaching vehicle. He looked out into the distance expecting to see a car, but what he saw was anything than what he expected. Yuna, too, looked and her eyes widened at what she saw.
Meanwhile. . .
"I need backup on the double!" Shuyin demanded over his cell phone. "Send any and all available units to the outskirts of Zanarkand. Tidus just stoled someone's motorbike and raced off to save Yuna." Shuyin shook his head. "You heard me the first time. The boss has been informed." Shuyin signed. "He hung up after I told him. He must be heading out in search for Tidus himself. The more help we got the better. Call me on my cell if you hear anything at all. I am here watching over Lenne and Rikku until further notice." He then put his phone away, turning to Rikku and Lenne who approached him.
"Any news?" Rikku asked concerned.
Shuyin signed with a hint of regret in his voice. "Not yet." He then looked at Lenne and cupped her face in his hands. "Are you okay?" He caressed her cheek with his right hand.
"I am now that you're here." Lenne said, a smile slowly playing upon her features.
Rikku shook her head. "Ohh, go on and kiss already! You know you want to." Lenne and Shuyin looked at Rikku who shook her head and politely turned away, allowing them some privacy.
And in doing this, Shuyin took Lenne in his arms andsmiled, leaning in and placing a gently kiss upon her lips. Parting a bit and turning their heads, they deepened that kiss, which soon became more passionate.
Never had Shuyin tasted a kiss a sweet as Lenne's. It was unlike anything he had ever experienced before in his life. Lenne, too, felt this. Of all the kisses she had ever had, this kiss had to be the kiss of all kisses. His lips moved over her own with such tenderness and pure devotion. It was like this kiss was telling her just how deep Shuyin's feelings went for her. Could it be true. Was he in fact falling in love with her as she was with him? Only time would reveal all.
Meanwhile. . .
Approaching fast, the tires screeching to a halt at a 180 degree turn, was Tidus. Both the psycho and Tidus exchanged deathly glares and without a second to spare, the psycho bolted to the other side of the car. Tidus quickly removed his gun, taking aim, however, refused to shoot for fear of hitting Yuna who was most certainly hysterical inside that car now. Upon getting him in his sights, Tidus fired, Yuna screamed and the psycho went down. Tidus lowered his gun, thinking that he had possibly killed the psycho, however, that was not the case and he saw this through eyes of shock once the psycho stood right back up, gave him a sinister grin and bolted inside the car. Tidus heard Yuna scream his name and with the wheels spinning, he raced towards the car. Yuna tried to get out by opening the door, however, the psycho jerked her back inside while stomping the gas petal to the floor board of the car, which sped off at a deathly rate. And that's when the chase was on.
