Well, we're nearing the end of this story as well. All we have left is the concert. Maybe 3 chpts at the most if even that. So, I may finish them before too long. I hope everyone has enjoyed this story. I have really had fun with this story and kinda regret seeing it end. Well, here's a chpt for everyone to enjoy. Kinda like a prelude to the concert. Enjoy!

Step by step Lenne backed away from the dark figure before her. Her heart raced within her chest, a cold sweat protruded through the pores of her skin, which ran down the side of her face. She backed up, stopping in front of the closet door. The man then growled out while he leaped towards her. Lenne then twisted the doorknob and just as the guy was about to grab her, she swung the door open and bashed his face in with it. The guy fell to the floor, yelling out as he grabbed his nose. Lenne then screamed out Shuyin's and Tidus' name, leaping jumping over the dark figure that laid on the floor before her, however, before she could get very far, he reached overhead and grabbed her ankle, causing her to trip and fall. She let out a blood curling scream as she tried to get away.

Tidus and Yuna was awakened by the scream. "What was that?"

"What's going on?" Yuna asked while she adjusted the covers around her.

"HELP!" Lenne cried out.

"That's Lenne." Tidus said while jumping out of bed and struggling to get his pants on.

Shuyin shot straight up in bed, threw the covers off and scrambled out of his room in his undershorts. Lenne continued to scream while she tried to get away. The psycho grabbed both of her ankles, however she continued to kick and fight him. Her constant struggling caused her to knock over a small table midst the hallway, which had a lamp, a vase of flowers and a picture upon it. Upon seeing the vase, Lenne picked it up, turned towards the psycho and smashed it over his head. He yelled out and grabbed his head, releasing the grip that he had on Lenne who then got her footing beneath her and ran for her life only to run straight into Shuyin. She screamed from fright while he tried to calm her. Tidus ran out of his room with his gun in hand ready to shot the S.O.B. while Yuna ran to the doorway with the sheet wrapped around her. Lenne buried her head in Shuyin's chest crying hysterically.

"What's going on?" Tidus demanded to know.

"Lenne, what is it?" Shuyin asked.

"He's here!" Lenne yelled through hysterical, frightful cries.

"Lenne, there is no one here, but us." Shuyin said.

Lenne looked at him in disbelief, turned around only to find that the psycho was gone. "He was here!" She then looked back at Shuyin. "I swear."

"I believe you." Shuyin assured her.

"No doubt." Tidus said while looking at the mess in the hallway. He then walked by the bathroom, looking inside only to see the window open and the curtain swaying in the breeze. "He got out through the bathroom window!"

"He knows where we are." Yuna said while she stepped out of the room. "And you bet your last breath that he will return. He wants me and Lenne dead and will stop at nothing till he succeeds in doing so."

"We could move to a new location." Shuyin suggested.

"No." Tidus said. "That would only put more people in harm's way. Remember what that psycho did back in Luca?"

"Why don't we lure him out?" Yuna asked and all eyes were upon her. "Set a trap."

Tidus tucked his gun in the back of his jeans and crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm listening."

"Leave me here alone and- -" Yuna began.

"HELL NO, YUNA!" Tidus snapped angrily. "No way will I put you in jeopardy like that!"

"Tidus- -" Shuyin said.

Tidus looked at Shuyin. "Stay out of this, Shuyin!" He then turned his attention back to Yuna who is quite startled by his rage of anger. "How could you even make such a suggestion?" Yuna shrugged her shoulders and Tidus just shook his head.

Crime scene investigators soon arrived and was searching the place over with a fine tooth comb, however, the only thing that was found was a few droplets of blood from a wound that he sustained from the vase. Everyone went to stay at Shuyin's place midst the city that never sleeps until further notice.

A few days had come and gone and things were at an eerie silence. The psycho hadn't made his presence known in quite some time, which was putting everyone on edge, for he could be anywhere doing anything. Even right outside the window at night just watch and waiting for his chance to strike again.

Nightfall. . .

Lenne stood out on the balcony looking up at the barely visible stars. A gently breeze caressed her long mocha trestles. She closed her eyes, savoring the feel of the wind upon her face.

"You okay?" came a concerned voice from behind.

"Yeah." Lenne said, not taking her eyes from the sky above.

Shuyin walked up beside her. "Lenne, I know you're scared and that you worried. You don't have to cover those feelings up because I feel the same way." Lenne looked at him. "From the moment our eyes met that day, I felt a strong attraction towards you when you looked at me with those eyes. Those same beautiful eyes, Lenne." Lenne blinked her eyes a few times, looking away from him, for she was at a loss for words. He then stepped closer to her. "Lenne." Lenne then looked back at him and without a moment to spare, he took her in his arms and kissed her passionately. She was in shock at first, but soon gave in and wrapped her arms around him, returning the kiss to him.

Tidus stood in the bedroom watching Lenne and Shuyin out on the balcony. He chuckled softly to himself when he felt arms slide around his waist. He took her hands in his and held them tightly as she placed a kiss upon the back of his shoulder, resting her head upon it.

"The concert is only a few days away, you know." Yuna began.

"Yeah." Tidus said. "He's waiting till then. I'm certain of it. I just wish I knew what he was planning." Yuna held him closer to her. "What's wrong?"

"I'm scared." Yuna admitted. Tidus took her right hand and greeted it with a timid kiss.

"You needn't worry." Tidus said. "As long as there is breath in my body, I swear that I will keep you safe from any harm." Yuna found comfort in his words alone, for she knew that he would somehow keep her safe. All that everyone could do was say a prayer that this guy would at last be captured.
