Chapter 1248
Yours Is Perfect
Cammy received a report from CamNet. The remains of the van turned up bad news.
Savannah could see right away Cammy was troubled.
"Cammy, what's wrong?" Savannah asked.
Cammy looked around. She seemed a little disoriented.
"What?" Cammy asked.
Savannah didn't want things to get out of hand. It looked like trouble.
"Pull over and let me drive." Savannah said. "I can always use a little more wheel time."
Cammy quickly pulled it together and went over all of the information. It was the nature of the information which presented a problem.
"I'm fine. I found out the van might have belonged to the anti-Metal group." Cammy said. "I just received a report from CamNet."
Savannah knew it would cause a problem with Cameron once she found out about the anti-Metal faction. The group always bothered her because of what Future Riley and Future Jesse did to her. Not only did they do something to her, they took something from her.
"It's bad news." Savannah said. "Will Cameron get the same report?"
Cammy knew it would happen soon enough. At some point she would.
"Yes." Cammy said.
Savannah wanted to prevent it. Now wasn't the time for Cameron to need to worry about the anti-Metal faction.
"I want the information suppressed." Savannah said. "Cameron doesn't need to know about it right now. It will spoil her vacation. There's nothing she can do about it from the ship. It will be up to us, one way or the other."
Cammy wanted Cameron to know the truth. It was important to her.
"We can do it your way or I can find out more." Cammy said. "I think she should know."
Savannah still thought there should be a delay in the release of the information. She thought it was going to create additional issues.
"Maybe…." Savannah said. "I don't want it to cause a problem for her."
Savannah was afraid Cameron would try and reach out to any of the human Resistance females who were on the ship. It was Jesse and Claire right now. They would both do what Cameron wanted if she asked them. Vanna and Allison were next in line. They would too.
She was aware Cameron put Vanna, Allison and Jesse into John's bed before. She'd done it with them naked too. If she did it again the same way, she was sure something would happen. It was why she didn't want anyone else to go in the first place. She briefly wondered if she would put the grab on any other female passengers. She was aware alcohol flowed rather freely on the ship. She was determined to make sure Cameron didn't get Young Allison on the ship.
Savannah sent a specific message to CamNet on her phone. CamNet was to prevent Cameron from getting Young Allison on the ship, no matter what Cameron tried. She wasn't going to take any chances. Young Allison was in too big of a hurry to 'grow up'.
'What about you?' CamNet typed.
'I don't know.' Savannah typed.
'I do.' CamNet typed.
'I guess you do.' Savannah typed.
'You do too.' CamNet typed.
'I'll do whatever I have to do to protect Young Allison.' Savannah typed.
Cammy wasn't sure what Savannah was up to. She thought she had a pretty good idea. It wasn't anything she wanted to see happen. She wanted to know how Savannah was doing.
"Are you OK?" Cammy asked.
Savannah looked at Cammy.
"I'm fine." Savannah said.
Cammy reached over and started to scan Savannah.
Anna looked at Young Allison. They were updated by CamNet as well. It looked like more bad news.
Anna went over the information with Young Allison.
"Your suspicions were correct." Anna said.
It was what Young Allison suspected but there were several choices or combinations.
"We still don't know who they are for sure." Young Allison said. "They could be Grays or Fanatics who infiltrated the anti-Metal group."
Anna was updated by John Henry.
"CamNet and John Henry are trying to determine what the situation actually is."
Young Allison thought they were going to be able to identify more targets.
"I want to know what else is associated with the building we have targeted." Young Allison said. "If it's computer related, we need to see if we can get someone in there."
It sounded risky to Anna. She wanted to make sure.
"Do you mean into the building we have targeted?" Anna asked.
Young Allison wanted something specific.
"No. I mean at one of the other places if there are any of their satellite offshoots that we can identify." Young Allison said. "There's usually always more."
Things seemed more Fanatic related to Anna.
"The building, or at least the activity occurring, is more closely related to the Fanatics. The anti-Metal faction might be able to identify anyone in our group." Anna said. "So could the Grays or Fanatics at this point."
Young Allison didn't think it was likely. She did remember the sketches of the group Cameron located one time. There were always variables.
"They may or they may not." Young Allison said. "We don't know."
Anna thought their choices were limited.
"It's too big of a risk." Anna said. "We can't even use Holly or your mother, they were both in Cameron' future. It only leaves Gail."
Young Allison didn't like the option. Maybe a missile strike was the best solution.
"She's a Terminator, even if she's a Restorator. It's too risky of an assignment for her." Young Allison said. "The Fanatics are all crazy. They need to be killed before they kill us."
Anna came up with one more person they could use to infiltrate with. They'd previously used the same jargon and felt the same way about Terminators.
"Sarah could try and infiltrate the anti-Metal group." Anna said. "She seems to be the most qualified."
Young Allison was ready to unleash CamNet at this point. Sarah was currently on the ship. She didn't want to mess anything up for her. She thought if anybody deserved some time off, it was Sarah.
"It would be unacceptable to John. Sarah has already risked more than everyone regarding Skynet." Young Allison said. "We need more information before we do anything. We can still carry out a missile strike."
Anna saw John Henry always curtailed the investigations into missile attacks and other explosions. If any of the groups they attacked actually searched, they might find evidence of what really happened. It was one of the reasons they kept tabs on areas of past operations. They wanted to see who'd turn up. The recent activity at the old newspaper plant was an example.
"It always will leave a trace of what it was." Anna said. "It alerts a group from the future, other groups from the future are battling them."
Ever since the conclusion of the operation with Cam, a new idea was in the back of Young Allison's mind. There were different ways to approach the problem. Maybe a unique solution was available to them.
"I thought of a new 'accident' other than a 'natural gas' leak." Young Allison said. "I want to use it on the Fanatics. It will help resolve a few things."
Anna wondered what it was. She thought Young Allison should talk it over with Savannah first. She didn't want anything too extreme to occur.
"I think you need to speak with Savannah and work with her. She's the one risking herself." Anna said.
Young Allison thought of the image of Savannah appearing out of the smoke from the manhole on her hands and knees with her M9 in her hand as she searched for a target. She was ready to fight. At the same time, she fought for air to breathe. Savannah was down, but not out. She came up fighting. It was after a bullet hit her body armor in the back and her night vision was 'shot off' her face. It didn't sit well with her. Savannah was always in the thick of it. She was ready to step up and take over some of the burden.
"That's changing soon." Young Allison said.
Anna looked at Young Allison.
"No, it's not." Anna said.
Young Allison looked back at Anna.
"We'll see." Young Allison said.
Ally listened outside Sheila's door. She heard everything Jesse and Sheila discussed. She would have liked to have been with Sheila too. Jesse was in there now instead. Maybe it was what was best for Sheila right now. She was with the one person who best understood her.
"Hi, Ally."
Ally quickly turned around. She hadn't heard anyone approach her or even any doors open. There was just someone there. Under different circumstances, they could have incapacitated her.
"Hi, Summer." Ally said. "You snuck up on me again."
Summer wanted her to know it could have been worse.
"You're not deactivated, so I didn't sneak up on you." Summer said. "I'm like a leaf in the wind."
Ally tilted her head slightly with Summer's last statement. She noted the dress Summer now sported.
"Wow! You look really nice in your dress." Ally said.
Summer liked Ally's outfit too.
"Thank you." Summer said. "You look really Hot in your maid's outfit."
Ally smiled and smoothed the material of her uniform. She didn't know if she'd been bending over when Summer might have first spied her. If she was, Summer got a look at 'everything'. Then again, it was nothing new around the Young residence.
"I do?" Ally asked.
Summer did find the outfit intriguing.
"Yes." Summer said.
There was some 'noise' from inside Sheila's room.
Ally glanced towards Sheila's room. It was clear what was going on in there. She returned her attention quickly to Summer.
"Maybe we should go check on your mother." Ally said.
Summer took Ally's hand.
"It's OK, I know what everyone does." Summer said. "I've seen and heard a lot."
Ally knew the Young girls were very mobile and quiet.
"I guess you do." Ally said. "You and your sister seem to get around without making much sound."
Summer shrugged her shoulders.
"It happens." Summer said.
Ally felt less depressed when she was around Summer or Jan. There was always a cheerful brightness to them. Savannah and Young Allison used to have it too. It seemed the older they got; it may have faded some, especially Savannah.
Maybe it was because of the lifestyle of the Resistance. Being exposed to danger and death would dull anyone over time. It was well known Savannah was exposed to both things many times. It seemed even more so when she was around Cameron. Only Cameron had faced more Terminators than Savannah. That alone said a lot about how a person who faced death so often could be 'hardened'. It was a heavy burden to lay on anyone.
They'd all seen the files of Savannah in action and how far she would go to protect anyone in the Resistance. it didn't matter if they were a human or a Terminator. Maybe it was the times when the Terminators were down, or incapacitated, which had a bigger effect on all of them. It was clear Savannah would never abandon any of them, no matter what the circumstances were.
Ally blinked her eyes several times. She realized Summer was leading her somewhere.
"Where are we going?" Ally asked.
Summer wanted Ally in a more secure location.
"I'm taking you back to the Control Center." Summer said.
Ally glanced back at Sheila's room.
"Why?" Ally asked.
Summer let go of Ally's left hand. It started to glitch again.
"That's why." Summer said.
Ally quickly moved her hand behind her back.
"I'm fine." Ally said.
Summer shook her head. She'd learned through experience whenever anyone said they were 'fine', they were anything but fine.
"It's what they all say." Summer said.
Summer understood when a Terminator 'glitched', it was a manifestation of some type of emotional problem or distress. She wasn't sure exactly how the correlation worked. It was first observed in Cameron. It was originally believed it was some type of offshoot of her being damaged. Upon further reflection, it became clear it was related to her expanding emotions. There were times when she didn't know how to process or deal with those emotions.
The same situation occurred to the other Terminators as time went on. The more their programming advanced and developed, as it was intended to, the more problems they experienced. The goal was for Skynet to make them as 'human like' as possible. It appeared the programming worked as intended. Maybe it worked a little too well.
Sarah worked to get Jan and Kyle ready.
There was a knock on the door to the smaller bedroom of the Honeymoon Suite. The room was intended to be Jan's and Summer's room.
Sarah opened the door. It was Holly. She was impressed at what she saw.
"Wow!" Sarah said. "You look stunning."
Sarah took it all in. Holly was truly beautiful. Her figure was different from Cameron's figure. She was shapelier and much larger in bust size. It was all on display with her dress.
Holly was pleased to hear the compliment. She'd heard people tell her similar things before. The one person who she didn't hear it from was Sarah. Sarah was known to tell things like they were. She didn't often mince words. If she had something to say, she said it. She figured if Sarah said it, maybe it was true.
"Thank you." Holly said. "I came over to see if I could help. I'll watch Jan and Summer tonight."
Jan was pleased to see Holly as well. She stared at her figure in her dress. She wondered if she would ever look anything like her. The way things had been progressing, she didn't think so. She believed she would be more like her mother. She thought maybe it was better not to say anything.
"Hi, Holly." Jan said.
Holly looked at Jan and smiled.
"Hi, sweetie." Holly said.
Jan looked around.
"Where's Summer at?" Jan asked.
Holly glanced at Sarah. She didn't want to get into the details.
"Summer needed to help Ally with a few things." Holly said.
Jan couldn't take her eyes off of Holly. She wanted to say what she felt.
"I hope I look like you one day." Jan said.
Sarah hoped she didn't, even if she did. She knew it would draw a lot of unnecessary attention to her. She knew what girls wanted to look like. She really wished she could have looked like Holly when she was in high school.
Holly didn't want to seem shallow.
"Thank you." Holly said. "You'll be beautiful no matter what you look like. In fact, you'll be more beautiful than me. If you're lucky, you'll be as beautiful as your mother."
Sarah smiled at Holly. She like her more all the time.
Jan couldn't decide what dress to wear.
"I want to dress like her." Jan said.
Sarah sucked in her breath a little bit as she glanced at Holly. She would prefer Jan remained a little more covered up.
Jan noticed the look on her mother's face. She looked at Holly and back at her mother and giggled.
"I mean like Summer's dressed."
Holly looked up from the front of her sheath and back to Jan. She thought she referred to her as well. She was glad to hear it was Summer. She didn't think it would be a problem.
"Summer's all ready." Holly said.
Sarah wanted to finish dressing Jan. She hoped it would help Jan make a decision.
"Which dress does she have on?" Sarah asked. "Jan can't make up her mind. There are all these pretty dresses. She keeps changing her mind."
Holly was about to offer several suggestions.
"Sarah!" Kyle called out from the main suite area.
Holly wanted to take the heat off of Sarah.
"You can take care of him and I'll get Jan ready. Summer will join us soon." Holly said. "I'll have both of them ready for dinner when you're ready to go."
Sarah didn't want to tie them up. She glanced over at the main part of the suite and frowned. She was sure Kyle wouldn't be ready anytime soon. She hoped the girls could have a little fun, instead of waiting around for them.
"It may be awhile." Sarah said. "You can take them around some if you want. We'll meet at the dining room."
Holly pulled back the hair over her ear and exposed her com.
"I'm in constant contact with the Control Center on board the ship. I can be updated as to where I need to be with them at any time."
Sarah thought it was a good idea.
"Maybe I should wear mine." Sarah said.
Holly didn't think it was necessary. Everyone was supposed to be on vacation. They were supposed to have a good time. They didn't need to worry about anything other than themselves. Well, maybe some of them would need to worry about some of the other people.
"You're on vacation. You only need to worry about Kyle." Holly said.
Sarah was afraid it could turn into a tall order.
"Thanks." Sarah said.
Holly wanted Sarah to know there were other Terminators available to assist her with Kyle if necessary.
"Any of the Metal girls can help you at any time with Kyle, or yourself". Holly said.
Sarah hoped she didn't need to take Holly up on the offer. She hoped she still had it in her to be able to pull it off. She thought she'd done pretty well last night.
"We'll see." Sarah said.
Sarah gave Jan a kiss and started back to her room. She looked at Holly again. It was hard to believe she was a machine. All of the Metal girls were beautiful. If she wasn't with Kyle, she was sure she would have ended up with a Metal girlfriend by this point in time. The idea still intrigued her. What would it be like? What would it hurt to try one time?
Holly noticed the way Sarah looked at her.
"Is there anything else?" Holly asked. "We're all here for you for anything."
Sarah's eyes roamed over Holly's perfect figure. She couldn't help but say again what she thought.
"You're very beautiful, Holly." Sarah said.
Holly smiled.
"Thank you. I'll take care of the girls. Jan will be available on short notice if you need her." Holly said.
Sarah returned to her suite and closed the door behind her. She looked down at the front of herself. She really wondered what it would be like to be bigger. She heard Kyle cuss at himself. She had more important things to worry about right now.
"I'm coming." Sarah said.
Holly stared at the door Sarah went through for a few moments. She was sure there was more on Sarah's mind. She really wondered what it would be like to be with Sarah. She turned her attention back to Jan.
She noticed Jan staring at her cleavage. She raised her hand to cover herself. It was an instinctive move.
Jan knew she'd been staring. She couldn't help it.
"I'm sorry." Jan said.
Holly quickly lowered her hand.
"It's fine." Holly said.
Holly straightened her back and made herself even more prominent.
"This is just how I look." Holly said. "I don't know who I'm patterned after."
It was something Holly always wondered about.
It made Jan wonder about her future. She wanted to know more.
"Will I look like you?" Jan asked. "Will I be like Jesse or my mom?"
Holly figured she could always go a few years into the future to look or take some of Jan's DNA and have Cameron Resequence one of her inactive female Terminators. It would be like she'd done with Summer.
"I don't know. It shouldn't matter." Holly said. "However you are, is how you'll be. It will be perfect."
Jan remembered how beautiful Metal Summer was.
"I know what Summer will look like." Jan said. "She'll be even more beautiful than she is now. She won't be as big as you are."
Holly didn't think breast size was as important as who the person really was inside.
"Everyone is different." Holly said. "It's what makes everyone special."
Jan wondered about it. She'd started to find images on the internet. Everything she'd looked at was different, even if it was the exact same thing. It didn't take her long to find she mostly looked at females.
"I guess so." Jan said. "Savannah always told me it mattered who we were on the inside."
Holly smiled when Jan said it. It was just what she'd thought. She thought about it a little more and frowned. She was a scary robot from the future on the inside.
"I guess it does." Holly said with a smile. "We are what we are or who we are."
Jan couldn't help but take one more look and Holly's low cut dress. There are other things to think about.
"Help me pick out my dress." Jan said.
Holly wanted Jan to make a choice. There were several options available to her.
"Do you want to dress like your mother or Summer?" Holly asked.
Jan looked at Holly again. She looked so pretty. She took in every shape and curve on Holly. She wanted to look like her right now. She really hoped to look like her in the future.
"You decide for me." Jan said. "I want to look like you."
Holly would need to let Cameron know what seemed to stimulate Jan. She was sure Cameron would try to put Jan and Summer together with each other as often as possible. She knew Cameron wanted Summer as an additional 'back up' for John if things went bad in the future. There was more than one way to tend the flock.
"You'll look even better." Holly said. "You'll look like yourself."
Jan really wondered if it was true.
Cameron was still elated about the earlier events. She couldn't get them out of her mind. She thought about asking Shelia to do a chassis swap with her right now. She remembered what John said earlier. Her goal was to make John happy, not herself.
She didn't see why she couldn't have a little happiness too.
Cameron made the finishing touches on John.
"There, you're even more handsome." Cameron said.
John felt a little guilty. Cameron spent a lot of time on him. He was ready but Cameron wasn't. It seemed like he chewed up all the time.
"You have me all ready. What about you?" John asked.
Cameron was able to get ready very quickly if necessary.
"I haven't decided yet." Cameron said. "It won't take me long."
John saw Cameron already separated the clothes she was going to wear.
"What's there to decide?" John asked. "You already have your dress picked out."
Cameron wanted to wear more than a dress.
She wanted to swap her chip with Sheila. She wasn't worried about the dress. She was worried about the sheath and chassis. She wasn't going to say anything earlier. Maybe it was time. She thought maybe she should let John know ahead of time.
"John, I want to use Sheila's chassis tonight." Cameron said.
John hoped Cameron meant for later on when they returned to their suite after the evening's activities. He knew what Cameron really meant. He didn't like the idea for tonight.
"Why?" John asked. "I'd like you to go as 'yourself'."
Cameron frowned at John's statement. She knew it was going to be a problem. She really didn't understand why. She thought she'd cleared up all those issues with John already. She wanted to try Sheila's chassis untethered.
"I want to see if I like her chassis better for everything." Cameron said. "I know it is better for sex."
John liked Cameron the way she was.
"Yours is perfect for everything." John said. "You don't need to switch all the time."
Cameron already started to make plans for when they returned.
"I'm going to switch once a week with Sheila when we get back." Cameron said.
John was in for that, if it was done the same way.
"You mean like we did?" John asked. "It was really special."
Cameron wanted some more freedom. She wanted a full chassis swap.
"No. I mean switch chips." Cameron said.
John thought it sounded good but he wondered how Savannah would feel about it. Maybe she would like it too since she loved Young Jesse. Upon further thought, he was sure Savannah would want Cameron to remain how she was. He did too.
"Let's worry about it when we get back." John said. "Tonight it's just us."
Cameron wanted to use Sheila's chassis again tonight, at least with the tether. Maybe she would see who John looked at tonight. She saw him look at Hanna, Gail, Ally and Holly last night as well as Sheila. Now Jesse and Claire were there. She was willing to bet John would check out Claire and Holly the most tonight.
"Sure, John." Cameron said. "The evening is still young. We'll see how things turn out."
The thought made John wonder about the show for tonight. The 'British Invasion' seemed to make Cameron happy last night. He hoped the one tonight would do the same.
"Did you say tonight the show is a comedian?" John asked.
Cameron wanted something better for tonight.
"It was." Cameron said. "I asked CamNet to rearrange the schedule."
John liked the show from last night.
"Will it be the same musical again?" John asked. "I really liked the performance."
Cameron asked CamNet to put them on the schedule for tomorrow night.
"They need a day to rest and practice." Cameron said. "I'll have them do the show again tomorrow night. I want Jesse and Claire to be able to see it before they go back."
John would like everyone to stay longer. They were plenty of rooms.
"Can't they all stay for the rest of the cruise?" John asked.
Cameron wanted everyone to have some time on the ship.
"Riley will want to get back to see Precious. Vanna or Jesse needs to be with Precious." Cameron said.
John felt a little absent minded.
"I forgot about Precious." John said.
John wondered about something else but decided not to ask.
Cameron could see John wanted a little more. She knew what he wanted. It was what she wanted too.
"I wanted Savannah and Young Allison to come." Cameron said. "They both declined. They both want us to be together."
John wondered how what they'd done with Sheila's chassis would go over with Savannah and Young Allison. He wondered if they would be angry or feel jealous. He was worried they would feel both emotions. The deed was done. There was no need to worry about it. He would have liked for either one, or both of them, to have come along. Maybe things would have played out a little differently. Right now he was here with Cameron.
"I like the idea too." John said. "We're together like we belong."
There were a lot of thoughts in Cameron's head. She didn't want to create any problems.
"Sure, John." Cameron said.
Cameron updated with CamNet and John Henry earlier. Cammy and Cam suspected they'd made contact with the anti-Metal faction again. She wanted John protected in case they were targeted.
She planned to get one of the human girls in John's bed before the cruise was over. Maybe Vanna and Allison would finally deliver. She would 'work' on Claire and Jesse tonight. She thought of several possibilities and options.
Cameron wondered if maybe John should have a little to drink tonight in the way of alcohol. She would try and have Jesse replace her while she was in Sheila's chassis. She'd already communicated her desire to Sheila when they were tethered. She'd actually communicated quite a few things.
She wondered what it would be like to be in the room and watch John and Jesse together if he thought Jesse was really her in Sheila's chassis. She wondered how he would respond once he realized it was really Jesse in his arms. It would be the true test to see what he wanted.
Cameron looked down at her hand and it didn't show any signs of a glitch. She knew it was because of the new threat of the anti-Metal faction. John needed to be protected. Nothing else mattered. It was her duty to make sure he was protected. It was her mission.
She was to protect and train him. There were many things he could be trained on.
Cameron smiled at John.
"We can do whatever you want." Cameron said.
Cameron felt she knew what was best for everyone. After all, hadn't she done all this before? She was sure she'd done it several times if she was really living her life over. She really wished she knew some of the details and how different things played out.
There was no record of anything.
Gail and Hanna assisted Claire to get ready.
Claire took a moment to look at all of the dresses again. She was very impressed. Not only were they all beautiful, they were of the highest quality.
"These are really pretty clothes." Claire said.
Hanna wanted her to know who chose them specifically for her.
"CamNet picked them out for you." Hanna said.
Claire thought it was the same as if Cameron selected them for her. It made the selections extra special.
Gail looked at Claire's naked body. She thought it was beautiful.
Claire put on her underwear.
Hanna took it off for her.
Claire was a little surprised.
"You need to just wear the dress tonight." Hanna said.
Claire thought it sounded hot. She liked the natural look of her body. She wanted to make sure she wouldn't be the only one.
"Is everyone else going without underwear?" Claire asked.
Gail was pleased with the thought.
"All of the females are." Gail said.
Claire hoped it didn't mean Jan and Summer too. She decided not to ask. If the Metal girls hadn't thought of it, they would then. If they had thought of it, it was already done.
"When will Jesse be back?" Claire asked.
Gail didn't know.
"She needed to speak with Sheila." Gail said.
Claire figured it meant they were sharing. She looked forward to the day a Terminator looked like her. Then she could see what it was like for other people to see and be with her first hand and up close. She'd been with Samantha and loved the way she looked 'everywhere'. Samantha's transformation was almost complete. She wanted to be with Samantha when they were identical. She didn't realize they already were except from the neck up.
Hanna left for a few minutes and returned with her dress.
"Holly has Summer ready." Hanna said. "She's in the Control Center now with Ally."
Claire wasn't sure who was where.
"Which one is there, Summer or Holly?" Claire asked.
"Summer's there." Hanna said. "Holly went to help Jan."
Claire slipped her dress on. She really liked the way she looked in it. It clung to her figure perfectly. It showed every detail. It showed a lot more than she normally would.
Hanna and Gail both looked at each other. They knew John would like it too. Cameron wanted all the girls on 'display' for John tonight, both Metal and human. Cruise ships were known for buffets. John would have a buffet of dressed up females tonight.
Cameron made sure each dress showed as much as possible and was still socially acceptable. Some may have thought she'd pushed it a little too far. Maybe CamNet pushed it a little further.
CamNet informed Hank and Larry to speed up and get directly behind the truck. She'd formulated a plan to isolate the three Grays from any other vehicles around them.
Hank passed the remaining car between him and the truck with the Grays in it. He thought the truck sped up a little as they moved in behind it. He moved into the lane next to it as if he was going to pass it. As soon as they crossed over the railroad tracks, the crossing gates immediately went down. The car that they passed earlier was caught behind the crossing gates.
There were a row of businesses on the left side of them. The railroad tracks were on the right side of them. They now paralleled the road. There were several options they could use to stop the vehicle. They could use a PIT maneuver, shoot out the tires or drive right up to the cab and shoot everyone inside of it. They didn't want to deal with the bodies.
They quickly discussed their plan.
Larry pulled out his silenced M9. There was no traffic coming towards them. He raised his pistol above the side view mirror and fired twice.
Both the tires on the left side of the truck blew out instantly. The truck immediately swerved to the left. The momentum carried the trajectory of the truck forward. The fact it was now sideways caused it to roll. It rolled over three times before it came to rest on its side. One of the Grays was halfway ejected on the final roll. He was currently underneath the side of the truck which rested against the pavement.
They immediately stopped in back of it. They were both out of the SUV and a flash. Larry moved to the top side of the truck. He gave it a shove and it landed back on its wheels. The Gray who was half out the window dropped on the pavement. The truck bounced twice and rocked back and forth. The driver's head hung at a crazy angle out of his side window.
Larry looked at the other Gray inside the truck. He appeared to still be alive. The door was jammed closed. He didn't want to use excessive force. Someone might question it if they examined the wreckage. It currently looked like a traffic accident. He wanted to keep it that way. He reached in and pulled the Gray out through the window. He quickly carried him to the rear of their SUV.
Hank reached in and briefly searched the deceased driver. He took his phone. He collected the items they believed they took from the collapsed building. One of them was a small safe. The other was a backpack which contained several hard drives.
He moved around to the passenger side and checked the man who had been crushed by the truck. He was still breathing. He'd suffered non survivable injuries. He quickly added to the injuries. He collected his phone from him as he searched him. He took the small safe and the backpack back to their SUV.
Hank got back into the SUV. He looked back to make sure Larry had everything under control. The Gray was unconscious but appeared to be alive. He dropped the SUV into gear and took off. They've been at the crash site for approximately twenty seven seconds.
Larry reached forward into the passenger seat to look at the items they'd taken. He made sure the phones were deactivated and proceeded to open the safe.
"That's interesting." Larry said.
Hank briefly glanced back.
"I'll say." Hank said.
The female Fanatic thought it would be easier just to ambush the two men when they came out of the building. There were other targets she could investigate. She'd really like to be able to use her bomb.
She wondered what the Grays had been up to in the building. She didn't know what they'd done in her old building either. She was going to go to the rear of the parked vehicle and wait for them. She would wait until they were almost at the car and then pop up from behind it and shoot both of them. She figured she'd be able to get their bodies into the trunk.
She moved past the roll up door. She paused at a regular door. She tried it. It was open. She quickly looked around behind her. She checked above her again for any surveillance cameras. None were spotted. It almost seemed too easy. She wanted to make sure she wasn't being set up.
She opened the rear door a crack. She ducked down and moved off to the side a little as she did. There was no gunshot. She moved her head over to the crack and looked in. She was still crouched down. She didn't see anyone. She pushed the door open a little further. She moved her head inside and looked. There was no one spotted, She could hear talking in the distance.
The talking in the distance was regular. No one seemed alarmed or worried. It didn't appear as if anyone detected her entry. It reminded her a lot of the other place, her old building. There were a lot of boxes stacked up around the doorway. She quickly touched several of them. They appeared to be empty. She briefly looked at the outside to determine what was in them. They were unmarked.
She moved closer to where the voices were. Her pistol was in front of her but not very far in front of her body. She didn't want it knocked out of her hand easily. She didn't want her arm pushed off to the side either.
There were several rooms on each side of the hallway she was in. She was surprised to see two of them were nearly empty. It was when she reached the third room she became enraged.
There was a 'comfort bunk'. She was glad to see no one was tied to it. It didn't matte, the fact it was there at all disgusted and repulsed her to no end. She decided she was going to kill the Grays right now. They appeared to be in an office area towards the front of the building at this point. She was close enough to hear their conversation. There was the sound of papers shuffling and things sliding on the floor as they talked. She could hear a file cabinet open and close several times.
"I just tried them again." The first man said. "There's no answer from any of them."
"We need to get out of here before we're next." The second man said.
"I think we have all the important stuff." The first man said.
"There's one more thing we need." The second man said. "As soon as we leave here, we're swinging by the homeless camp."
"Maybe we should wait until we get situated before we pick up any 'skirt'." The first man said.
"I don't plan to get any 'skirt'." The second man said.
"I almost forgot." The first man said.
"To each his own." The second man said. "If you want some 'stank', we can grab some too."
"There would be one for each of us." The first man said.
She was enraged even further with what she'd heard. She stepped boldly into the room where the voices were with her pistol raised. The two men both had astonished looks on their faces. She fired her pistol twice. Both men went down. She hadn't planned on interrogating them.
The female Fanatic quickly looked at the items spread out on a desk in the office area. Maybe she would get to use her bomb after all.
Yours Is Perfect
There are many things
One can do for an effect
The real question becomes
What's the lasting affect
Who are the ones
Who determine what's correct
Aren't their own beliefs
What they actually project
Only from themselves
Must one truly protect
Their own future or fate
They can choose and select
The truth itself
Is hard to deflect
One's own actions
Are what will convict
To be more than an insect
Is what one hopes to expect
They don't want conflict
They want to connect
You are the one
Who deserves some respect
When it is about one's heart
Yours is perfect
Nobody
