Greetings Lord Voldemort,

I have decided on no longer intending to make your life hell.
In fact, I am truly considering to join your side. Before you start wondering what has hit me that I have decided to back away from the light, - because that is the case indeed, - I kindly want to inform you of the following that has happened to me a while ago,, - wich is the case of previous stated decision.

A while ago, Professor Dumbledore informed me, in relation to a certain prophecy, that there are several ways to interpret these words. In fact, it could concern with Neville Longbottom instead of me, for example, since he was born a day before I did.

Anyway, because all who knows, all think that the prophecy concerns me,, (and not the quite clunsy Neville), I was unwillingly forced to fulfil my so called fate. Yes, you heard me right, unwillingly. I had no choice, I had no way to escape from their forcing me to uphold a light reputation, being often refered as 'the golden boy', which they think I truly am, but wich I am not. I was guided carefully with every decision I had to make, They being scared that I sought out my own way, fearing that my own decisions would bring down the entire world, if the profecy concernes me, and if my decisions would lead me to what they call 'dark'.

This whole prophecy thing is driving me to madness. Anyway, who truely believes any word of professor Trulawney, since most of her prophecies are proved to be fake. Because of her sayings you tried to kill me. (Don't worry, I don't blame you, I would do the same if I were you.) Because of the same prophecy I intefered with your doings, and thereby puting my life to danger in order to let it come true.

Because I did, everyone thought it was indeed my destiny, but in fact, I believe it was Neville's. I remember him trying to stop me when i went after Professor Quirrell when he went out to steal the Phillosophers stone. I did not pay attention to what he was saying at that particular evening. I just stunned him to get after Quirrel.

It was just a few months ago when I remembered what he said to me at that particular moment 'Harry, don't go,' He said, 'I have to do this'
Back then I was to busy with saving the stone that I even didn't hear his soft voice. But now, together with what Professor Dumbledore told me, I realize, that the prophecy does not concern with me, and therefore I should stop to intefere with you.

Who could think that the clunsy Nevill would be the real golden boy? He is so shy, so fading in the background that no one ever would consider it for one moment. However, My personal experience is that the boy is in fact, more clever than one can ever imagine. Duing the Tri Wizards Tournament he in fact gave me a method to breath under water, wich was needed to overcome one of the three task. Where no one could help me, Neville had the solution. If he was really that clunsy as how he acts, he shouldn't save my face there. And this is not the only situation where Neville helped out where no one could. But that is a far to long story.

Anyway, As I am not the chosen one, I shoudn't oppose you, just because everyone wants me to. I have decided to make my own decisions in life, to walk my own paths and to create my own destiny.

I thought It would be apropriate to let you know all of this, since we maybe can come to an agreement to at least stop with trying to kill eachother, and parhaps work together.

Faitfully,

Harry Potter
