Chapter 1278
Watch Me Dress
Anna and Young Allison headed out of the house.
Young Allison was to start her physical training immediately. She'd been up late last night and gotten up early in the morning to assist with the operation Cam's team conducted. She hadn't gotten much sleep. She was tired and hadn't eaten yet. She wanted Anna to push her physically while she tested her mentally. She was aware the future would offer much harder challenges than this.
It wasn't something Anna would normally condone. She was responsible for Young Allison's well being and health. A little test didn't hurt too much.
"How far do you want to go?" Anna asked.
Young Allison looked over at Anna and smiled.
"All the way…." Young Allison said.
Anna frowned. Young Allison was always 'knocking'. She was a little annoyed.
"I mean on our run." Anna said. "You know what I meant."
Young Allison wanted to point out she didn't mention anything inappropriate.
"I actually didn't say anything 'bad'." Young Allison said. "It all happened in your own mind."
It still bothered Anna. She knew what was said, without being said.
"I got your implication." Anna said. "It's forbidden by your own order."
Young Allison thought Anna was overreacting.
"Chill out." Young Allison said. "I was just fooling about."
Young Allison almost said, 'Don't blow a fuse'. She knew it could be degrading to Terminators. They would take it literally.
Anna wanted to tell Young Allison it was Savannah who would be the dominant one in their relationship. It was how it was with Vanna and Allison. She'd checked her files from Cameron. Maybe Future Allison was the dominant one in her relationship with Future Savannah. At least it was after Cameron 'worked' with Future Allison before she'd returned her to Future John and Future Savannah.
"I am chilled out." Anna said. "The Detail is out with us."
Young Allison thought about it. She tied up precious Resistance resources by having her own protection detail. If she was away from her mother and Summer she no longer endangered them.
"I want to disband them." Young Allison said.
Anna was confused as to what Young Allison referred to.
"You want to disband who?" Anna asked. "What are you talking about?"
Young Allison felt she could take care of herself.
"I'm referring to my Detail." Young Allison said.
Anna knew it was a non starter.
"You know Cameron won't allow it." Anna said.
Young Allison knew there were ways around it.
"Maybe she won't. I can still do it on my own." Young Allison said.
Anna didn't think Cameron would allow the 'Natural Order' to be disrupted.
"It's highly inadvisable." Anna said. "You must be protected for John."
Young Allison felt like a 'young bride' at times.
"I've been in an 'arranged marriage' most of my life." Young Allison said. "I know my duty and responsibility."
Anna knew the future couldn't be disrupted.
"The future has already happened. It can't be changed." Anna said. "We've been over it many times."
Young Allison saw all the changes the Resistance made.
"We change it everyday. So does Skynet or SkyMaster or any of the other groups who've come to meddle in the past." Young Allison said. "Nothing is written in stone."
Anna didn't want to argue.
"It will be sunrise in thirty three seconds." Anna said.
They'd been jogging towards the park.
"Let's make it to the top of the small hill." Young Allison said.
They turned abruptly and went up the side of a hill next to the path. They reached the top very quickly.
"There, we made it with three seconds to spare." Young Allison said.
Almost as soon as Young Allison finished her statement, the sun began its climb over the hills to the east.
"I wonder if Cameron and Savannah are both able to watch this now too." Young Allison said.
Anna would prefer if Young Allison was still in bed resting. She'd been up too late last night. It seemed to happen more and more.
"Cameron would have seen it a few seconds before us on the ocean." Anna said. "I would hope Savannah is still asleep like you should be."
Young Allison felt she was in her prime.
"Savannah will be up." Young Allison said. "As for me, I've rested enough."
Young Allison reached over and took Anna's hand. They briefly looked at each other and returned their gaze to the rising sun. They interlaced their fingers as they watched the sunrise together.
Young Allison wanted to quell the tension which formed between them sometimes. Holding hands was a simple physical connection to reaffirm their closeness.
Anna scanned Young Allison as they watched the sunrise. She could feel Young Allison reach out to her. It only made her love Young Allison more. It pained her to know they would never 'belong' to each other. She knew Young Allison was 'spoken for' several times over already.
Kyle couldn't get Hanna out of his mind. He looked back in the direction she went several times as he counted down the minutes. He would go get Sarah one minute before sunrise.
He couldn't think when the last time was when they watched the sunrise together before they'd been on the ship. It was probably on a training exercise. It was almost time.
Kyle was about to go get Sarah when she appeared. She wore a bathrobe. It hung open. She made no attempt to close it.
Sarah joined Kyle on the balcony. She thought about closing her bathrobe tighter but didn't. She wanted to remind Kyle what was available.
Kyle glanced over at Sarah's open bathrobe. He liked what he could observe.
"I see you've turned the headlights on." Kyle said.
Sarah glanced down at her exposed breasts. Cool air could cause a physical reaction sometimes. This was one of those times.
"It happens." Sarah said.
The way everything protruded right now, she couldn't help but think how she would look with a pair of nipple rings. She wasn't sure if she would go with a bigger diameter or not. She definitely would go with a heavier gauge. She thought it would really make a statement.
They heard the sliding door move on the other side of the partition. Sarah closed her robe. Summer and Jan were in the room next to them.
Kyle handed Sarah a cup of coffee.
Sarah smiled as she took it. She liked how the hot cup warmed her hands.
"Thank you." Sarah said. "I can see someone's trying to earn a few points for later on."
Kyle smiled at the thought. He wasn't going to push it. He didn't want Sarah to overtax him.
"There's hot chocolate and orange juice if you want some instead." Kyle said. "There are also croissants and sweet rolls."
Sarah took a sip of her coffee.
"It's more than I bargained for." Sarah said. "Kind of like last night. I think I'm actually a little sore this morning. You really gave me a workout."
Kyle was pleased with his performance. He knew it was the medicine he'd received from Derek which enabled him to perform as well as he'd done.
"It happens." Kyle said. "We can go easy for a while."
Sarah was open to some variety. She briefly thought back to her high school days with her girlfriends.
"I'm sure we can think of a few other things to do which have the same effect and produce the same result." Sarah said.
Kyle looked at the horizon.
"Here it comes." Kyle said.
Sarah tried to keep her face straight.
"I haven't even touched it yet." Sarah said.
Kyle glanced quickly at Sarah.
"I meant the sun." Kyle said.
Kyle saw Sarah was messing with him.
They both laughed a little.
Kyle reached down and took Sarah's hand. They interlaced their fingers as they watched the sunrise.
There was 'a closeness' they both felt. No words were necessary.
Summer sat next to Holly and Jan. There was one on each side of her.
Jan wanted to hear the ocean.
"Can we open the door?" Jan asked.
Summer and Holly quickly glanced at each other.
Holly closed it earlier so Summer wouldn't hear Kyle and Sarah discuss anything risque.
Summer was aware of everything which occurred on the balcony next to them. There was no need for Jan to hear about it. She thought it was a little cooler than anticipated anyway.
"We did earlier but it was a little too cool outside." Summer said.
Holly handed Jan a hot chocolate and Summer one as well.
The girls sipped the warm drinks as they awaited the sunrise.
"Sunrise will be in seven seconds." Holly said.
Summer set her drink down. She motioned for Jan to do the same.
They all stood.
Summer reached over and took Jan's hand on one side and Holly's hand on the other side. They all exchanged a quick glance at each other. They interlaced their fingers as they watched the sunrise.
Summer felt Jan gently squeeze her hand. Summer returned the gesture the same way. They both stole a quick glance at each other again.
Holly scanned Summer as she interacted with Jan. It was clear to her from her dealings with human females as to what Summer felt right now. She smiled. Cameron would be pleased. She didn't take into account Summer held her hand as well.
Summer briefly looked at Holly before she returned her eyes to the horizon. She couldn't help but think about viewing Holly's large breast close up last night before she covered it over with her robe. She really thought Allison was lucky. She actually thought Holly was luckier.
Vanna woke up and looked around. She was alone. She remembered she was in the nursery.
She looked over and was surprised to see Precious in her crib right next to the bed. It certainly wasn't what she expected to see. Samantha or Cam must have carried her in there. She wasn't sure why. One reason popped into her mind.
She sat up and looked at Precious.
It made her a little sad her body was worthless as a female.
Vanna was still naked. She glanced down at her bulging breasts and felt the pressure. She realized her body wasn't completely worthless. It made her smile. She would change Precious if she needed to and then nurse her. It was always one of the few times she felt proud to be a female. She could sustain life, even if she couldn't create it.
She looked around for Cam or Samantha. They were nowhere to be seen.
She wondered if something happened which required Cam and Samantha to go out on an operation. Now she felt worried. She checked Precious again and went to look in Riley's room. The door was open so she entered.
Vanna looked around as she checked to see if they were there. She heard some noise from the bedroom. She turned to go back to Precious. Her curiosity got the better of her. She decided to look in on them. She expected to see them both in full Terminator mode working wildly on each other. Instead they shared very slow and lovingly. Every touch was soft and tender. They were the touches of love, not just sex. They touched each other how Savannah showed and expressed her love. It was beautiful to watch. She was sure they both knew she was there. She blew them a kiss and went back to tend to Precious.
She was pretty sure what awaited her once she was done.
Savannah wanted to do her morning run. With Allison there it didn't look like it was going to happen. She figured Cammy was waiting for her outside the door. Normally she would come in. It appeared she was giving them privacy. She didn't want Cammy to need to stand outside the door and do nothing.
"Cammy, you can join us." Savannah said.
The door opened and Cammy entered.
Cammy eyeballed both of them since they were both still naked.
Savannah wasn't sure Allison was OK. She wanted to know a little more.
"Are you sure it was a dream?" Savannah asked.
Allison still experienced dreams about her future from time to time. It was the same dream. When bad things actually happened, she remembered she wished it was a dream, but it wasn't. It was reality. It was her life.
"It was just a dream." Allison said. "It's no big deal. Sometimes it's a reminder of what once was."
Cammy became concerned.
Savannah and Allison noticed.
Allison brushed her hair back from neck. She could tell what Cammy wanted to do.
"Go ahead." Allison said. "It's going to happen anyway."
Cammy smiled and moved up to scan Allison.
Savannah brushed her hair back as well.
"We might as well make it a 'twofer'." Savannah said.
Cammy's smile broadened.
Allison didn't want to neglect anyone.
"Maybe I need to check on Vanna." Allison said.
Cammy could offer some insight on Vanna. She'd checked on them earlier.
"Vanna is nursing Precious." Cammy said. "Samantha and Cam are with her."
Cammy threw in the last part to keep Allison there a little longer. Maybe they could get a three way going before breakfast. Maybe Savannah would go on her run and Allison and her could hook up.
"I'm tired." Allison said.
Cammy thought Allison needed to sleep a little longer.
"You can rest some more." Cammy said. "Savannah can go on her run."
Allison wanted Savannah to get more rest.
"She is the one who needs to go back to bed more than I do." Allison said.
Savannah looked at both of them.
"I'm in my prime." Savannah said.
Savannah figured she was. She'd delivered two babies and there was a third one on the way. She was actually glad it was for Vanna. She was afraid a baby would stifle her budding relationship with Young Allison. She knew the baby would need to come first with her before Young Allison. It wasn't how she wanted to start their relationship. She wanted a firm relationship between them before they were any children from either of them.
The thought of childbirth made her worry about something else. She was afraid of what the effect of having three babies would do to her body, 'in several places'. She would ask Cam and Cammy separately from each other how those 'parts' on her compared to Vanna. She was afraid they were going to be 'wrecked' before they were ever used in their intended fashion with John. She was fairly certain all of the 'stretching' would add up and compound on itself.
Cammy would normally accompany Savannah on her run. Sometimes if she was on another assignment, or busy with someone else, another Terminator would take her place. Currently there were two Terminators available. She hoped to take advantage of the situation. She really wanted to spend some alone time with Allison.
"Steve and Tom are waiting for an assignment." Cammy said. "I can stay here with Allison."
Cammy and Allison looked at each other. They both knew Allison wanted Cammy to play 'Cameron' if she did.
Savannah could see they wanted to be together. She didn't have a problem with it. If anything, she would like to watch them together. She knew if she did, she wouldn't be a spectator for very long. She would want to become a participant. She felt there was plenty of love to share for everyone.
"I can run with them." Savannah said. "You two have some fun and get some rest."
Savannah went to get her clothes. When she turned around, Cammy was already naked and slid into bed with Allison.
"That was fast." Savannah said.
Savannah decided to let them have at it. She walked out of her room naked, holding her clothes.
She would get ready in Jesse's room.
She was surprised to see Tom and Steve waiting there.
They both turned away as she came around the corner.
Savannah was sure everyone already saw her naked several times.
"It's fine." Savannah said. "It's nothing you haven't seen before."
Tom didn't want to disrespect Savannah.
"We'll give you privacy." Tom said.
Savannah didn't mind if anyone saw her anymore. It really was no big deal. Jesse even taught her it was exciting to have an audience when having sex. She still liked to have it private when she made love. She tried to make love with all of the girls. Sometimes just some sex was fine. Things happened pretty fast and often when it was wild.
"Relax." Savannah said. "You can watch me dress."
Tom and Steve looked at each other. They were both aroused and stimulated to see Savannah anytime, especially when she was naked.
Savannah put her underwear on.
She held her bra.
"Can one of you hook this for me?" Savannah asked.
They both stepped forward.
Savannah held it up in front of her. She almost winced but didn't. She was sore from yesterday. She didn't want anyone to know. She quickly turned around. Tom hooked it for her.
A thought crossed her mind as to why she normally always wore a one piece bathing suit.
"Thanks." Savannah said. "Now it is like I'm wearing a bikini, but with four times as much material."
With her statement, Steve and Tom seemed less tense. They knew it was a factual statement. Some of the bikinis they'd witnessed, lacked a lot of material.
Savannah quickly finished dressing as they watched. She actually thought it would do them some good.
"See, it's the same like everyone gets dressed." Savannah said. "It really is no big deal."
It may not have been a big deal, but it was pleasant for Steve and Tom to watch. Savannah was beautiful.
"Do you desire to eat first or go on your run?" Steve asked.
Savannah wasn't sure when sunrise was.
"Can we still make it before the sunrise?" Savannah asked.
Tom wanted to give her a factual answer. He was sure it would cut into her nutrition.
"If we leave now we can." Tom said. "You should eat something first."
Savannah figured she could eat anytime. The sunrise happened only once every morning.
"The sunrise it is." Savannah said. "We'll enjoy it together."
Savannah could see they were both a little uneasy because she was going to delay breakfast. She wanted to put them at ease. She reached out and took a hand from each of them.
Steve and Tom looked at each other and followed Savannah as she guided them along by their hands. There was 'a closeness' to it, even if it was a simple act. Savannah was usually the only one to interact with them physically. Young Allison and Summer did as well. Strangely enough, they could always interact with Summer without her even needing to touch them. There were always ideas or thoughts which would appear in their minds as if they'd heard her say something.
Earlier:
John Henry wanted Cammy to stay longer but she'd left. He'd watched her go by Riley's room to listen to what was happening. She then went and listened outside Savannah's room. She was there for several minutes before she went in.
He saw Tom and Steve arrive and wait near Jesse's room. He figured Cammy called them. He checked his server and saw she did.
He watched as Savannah exited her room naked a very short time later after Cammy went in. He zoomed in the security camera. He took in every detail of her nude figure. Parts of his sheath began to respond to the visual stimuli. He felt a little uneasy and angry because Steve and Tom were right there when she turned the corner. He thought the feeling was jealousy. Cameron described the feeling to him before. He was glad to see they both turned away from her. Much to his surprise they turned back at Savannah's urging.
He reached down and touched his expanding appendage. He figured Tom and Steve probably experienced the same thing he did. John Henry really wanted to be with one of the females. He figured Claire was his best bet for 'a match'. Jesse was a sure bet too. He knew Sheila was in for the Metal girls. He would never consider Vanna or Allison. He knew of their suffering and their sexual preference was directed elsewhere as a result of it.
John Henry was a little surprised when Tom hooked Savannah's bra for her. It made him wonder if she was hurt a little more than she'd let on with her injuries from yesterday. He would alert Cammy to check into it further. Savannah did have a rough time yesterday. She was shot in the back but the 'chicken plate' took most of the force of the bullet.
Now the three of them left together. He watched Savannah take a hand of each of them and lead them outside.
He felt the jealousy again. He looked down, and his sheath was back to normal, 'everywhere'.
These were feelings he didn't want to have. No wonder Cameron was so messed up sometimes. Her programming had evolved the most of any of the infiltration units. It seemed the humans were better able to control or hide their feelings like this. He was aware if someone wanted you, they'd let you know. Since they didn't always 'say' it, he wondered how one was supposed to know. Maybe it was because they could 'feel' it.
It made him wonder about what two people felt before the first time they kissed each other. He'd observed their heads would usually come into close proximity. It would look like they were about to kiss. There was usually a slight pause and then the kiss would start. Sometimes it was a simple kiss, other times the simple kiss expanded into a deeper kiss. He wondered if the pause was an offering by either one of them for the other one to decline. He didn't think he'd ever seen anyone decline when they were in that situation.
Derek and Riley were both still asleep.
The food cart waited for them. The sunrise did not.
They'd both slept through it.
Gail heard the other rooms getting ready for the sunrise. Maybe it was something she could share with Claire.
Gail bent down and kissed Claire.
Claire opened her eyes. She was very surprised to see a smile on Gail's face. Gail looked beautiful with a smile. It seemed there was seldom one there. Usually if she interacted with other females, there would be. There was always one there when she was around Savannah.
"I'm sorry to wake you." Gail started.
Claire was hungry for some more action. She reached up to pull Gail down on top of her. She was ready to go another round.
"We can do it again." Claire said. "I don't mind."
Gail's smile broadened. There was something else she wanted to share with Claire first. It was something Savannah told her about and how beautiful it could be. She needed to clarify what her intentions were.
"I meant for something else first. We can share afterwards too." Gail said. "It's almost sunrise."
The thought excited Claire. She wasn't usually up early enough to see one.
"I want to see it. Thank you." Claire said.
Gail told her about the refreshments.
"There's coffee, hot chocolate and orange juice too." Gail said.
Claire wasn't used to such service. It made her feel special.
"You did all those things for me?" Claire asked.
Gail knew it was a team effort.
"I was part of the process." Gail said.
Claire wasn't really sure what she meant. She didn't want to spoil the atmosphere and ask.
Gail scooped Claire up and carried her to the balcony. She towed the food cart behind her.
Claire was thrilled. She liked to be carried. She liked it even better to be carried by a female. She watched Gail pour half coffee and half hot chocolate into a cup for her.
"How did you know it's what I wanted?" Claire asked.
Gail heard Savannah mentioned it before. She thought Claire would like it as well.
"I just did." Gail said.
Claire sipped on the warm drink.
"The mocha is great." Claire said. "It's not too sweet or too bitter."
Gail was pleased Claire was happy. It was almost time.
"The sun will start to rise in ten seconds." Gail said.
Claire watched. She reached over and took Gail's hand. As the sun started up, she interlaced her fingers with Gail.
Gail felt very excited with the personal interaction with Claire. It was how she watched a sunrise with Savannah before.
Words didn't need to be spoken. It was a visual event which spoke for itself. The feeling of sharing and closeness was special too. Private parts weren't the only way to express the same feeling either.
In the Master Suite, Ally was with Jesse. They were sharing together.
Ally lifted her head so she could speak.
"It will be sunrise soon." Ally said.
Jesse liked where she was at right now. The finish wasn't far away. She could feel it building.
"Don't stop." Jesse said. "We can watch it tomorrow."
Ally lowered her head and continued what she was doing.
John decided to get up and see the sunrise. He was aware there was a good chance one day he wouldn't be able to do it any longer. He knew it to be the case in several futures. It was nothing to look forward to. This is where he was at now, and he needed to make the most of it.
Cameron was pleased to see him get up.
She handed John the robe she wore earlier.
"Don't you want one?" John asked.
Cameron didn't mind being naked.
"You know nudity doesn't bother me." Cameron said.
John began to wonder what his surprise was going to be.
"I guess it doesn't." John said. "What will be my big surprise?"
Cameron took him by the hand.
John could feel the anticipation build. He knew what he wanted to try. He didn't want to seem greedy. He needed to ask.
"Is it Claire or Jesse?" John asked in a whisper.
John felt Cameron's hand glitch.
Cameron stopped. She knew the anti-Metal faction was out there. She wanted John protected.
"Would you like to 'try' them?" Cameron asked.
Cameron pushed it on all of them for so long, it was what John wanted. He at least wanted to try it a few times.
"To be truthful, I'd like it." John said. "Isn't it what you've been pushing on me?"
Cameron didn't feel she'd 'pushed' anyone. She did what she did to protect John. There was a difference. It seemed only she could 'see' it.
"I've made them available to you." Cameron said.
Cameron led John around the corner.
She stopped dead in her tracks.
The only thing there was the food cart and the nearing sunrise.
John felt Cameron's hand glitch again.
"Is everything OK?" John asked.
Cameron looked around.
"I'm fine." Cameron said.
Cameron scanned John as he held her hand.
"I know what the surprise is." John said.
What Cameron saw, or actually didn't see, was a surprise to her. There should have been a Terminator there. There actually should have been three Terminators there. She'd been ready to tether with one of their chassis and use it as her own. She really would have liked to have had Hanna's chassis, Sheila's chassis and her chassis side by side on the bed for John to switch from one to the other and back and forth. Something must have gone wrong. Now she wondered what John thought the surprise was.
"You do?" Cameron asked.
John smiled at Cameron and was pleased she was the only one there.
"It's YOU." John said. "You're my surprise."
John interlaced his fingers in Cameron's hand and opened the balcony door.
They watched the sun come up.
"Cameron…." John said.
Cameron was disappointed she wouldn't be able to please John as she'd intended. She wanted him to have the best honeymoon ever.
"Yes?" Cameron asked.
John looked at Cameron with love in his eyes. He was very appreciative of what she'd allowed so far and what she would allow. He believed it was proof of true love on her part.
"You're my sunrise every morning and the sunshine of my life." John said.
Cameron was pleased to hear it and at a loss of words to respond to it. It was clear John loved her. She wanted to find a way to make their honeymoon even more special. She would get whatever he wanted and make available whoever he wanted. She couldn't think of a more beautiful way to show her love for him. Sacrifice was the true test of love. She was ready to test her love as much as possible for John.
Hank and Larry watched as the female Fanatic passed by in front of the location at a relatively slow speed. It didn't appear it was going to be an attack on the building.
They soon realized she was searching for the Gray's vehicle. They watched her almost miss it. She did some more maneuvering before she parked.
"Do you think she'll get out?" Hank asked.
Larry thought she was unpredictable.
"I don't know." Larry said. "I actually thought she was going to make a move on the building."
Hank figured she wanted a better target.
"She will probably want to know more before she does." Hank said.
Hank and Larry monitored the drone footage as well as the surveillance cameras inside of the building.
When the sun rose, they didn't even look.
The female Fanatic was sure the Gray entered the location in the same spot as his troops did earlier. They'd probably made a plan before they were sent. So far she still hadn't heard any shooting. She didn't know what he was up to. She drove around the block in the other direction and parked on the same street where the Gray's vehicle was parked. She parked two streets down where she could keep an eye on it.
She watched his vehicle for a while. She was tempted to go down and see what she could. The thought there was a hostile Terminator at the target location was enough to dissuade her. She didn't want to leave her bomb unattended. She felt she took a big enough risk waiting where she was at. She kept constant watch around her.
She watched the sun come up almost in front of her. She never really saw what the big deal was about a sunrise or a sunset since she'd returned to the past. It was something which happened every day. She quickly put down the sun visor on the van to keep the sun out of her eyes. She didn't want to miss the Gray when he returned to his vehicle. She certainly didn't want to miss the Terminator if he came to investigate Gray's vehicle.
She contemplated the options available to her as she waited. She saw the gate was open alongside the building. If she heard shooting, she would drive there and go through the open gate. She would come around the back side and aim towards the roll up door with her van. She would set the timer on the satchel charge for ten seconds and try to bail out before the van reached the roll up door. What would happen afterwards, was anyone's guess.
The Gray was as surprised as he wasn't when he looked at the last two vehicles parked inside of the building. They were the two closest to the roll up door. He was even a little more surprised at what he found inside one of them. It wasn't what he'd expected.
Both of the vehicles his team was sent the location with, were parked inside of the building. It most likely meant his team had been compromised. The first vehicle he looked in contained four bodies. One was in the passenger seat. The other three were dumped on top of each other in the rear seat. None of them were his team. He moved to the second vehicle. He saw one of his team members in the passenger seat. He was dead. There were multiple bullet holes in the vehicle as well. It appeared he died inside of the vehicle.
He thought he heard a noise. He quickly dropped down between the two vehicles. He listened as he looked around. He didn't move. The noise didn't repeat itself again. He was aware the building was more lit now. There was faint light coming through the skylights. He was sure the sun must have risen. It was near sunrise when he'd approached the building earlier.
He would have liked to have seen the sunrise. He never knew when it would be his last. Something told him he'd probably already seen his last sunrise. It was certainly that way for at least one of his team. It most likely was the same for all of them. It was for all the others who were with him earlier.
There were no other sounds. He carefully moved around in a crouch between the other vehicles. He soon spotted a group of bodies on the floor. There was more than his team there. He looked around the area one more time and took off his night vision. There was enough light where he could see around him. He wanted to verify his men were among the fallen. One by one he found them. There wouldn't be any more sunrises for them.
"Damn." The Gray said.
He made a quick circuit of the building. He looked for booby traps wherever he went. None were spotted. He found the stripped computers and the surveillance station. He noted the surveillance station seemed inactive. He looked at it a little further. He was sure it was still hooked up and made to look like it wasn't. He looked around the building a little further to see if he could spot any internal cameras. He couldn't. He was sure they were there. He had the feeling he was being watched.
He found what looked like the research part of the building. Everything was destroyed. He figured it didn't matter at this point. They'd intercepted four vehicles which left this location and everyone was dead. He didn't realize he was operating off of a false assumption. He didn't know the four vehicles his team engaged earlier were actually gang bangers. The four other individuals he found along with his team on the floor were the actual occupants of the building. He tried to determine how the one large individual died. It looked like he'd been hit by a truck. All of the damage was on his upper body.
He didn't think there was anything of value in the building. He noted none of the decedent's still carried their phone or anything else of value on them. He'd collected the phones from his fallen teammates on the street, except for the ones which burnt up in the van and the other car. He was sure if he was to watch a news report later on, it would be the top story.
There didn't appear to be anything else of relevance in the building. He could either leave the building as it was and go or he could set it on fire and try to destroy as much evidence as possible. Based on the fact he felt he was being watched he decided to torch the building.
He figured the fastest way to do it was to rupture the fuel tanks on all of the vehicles. There were plenty of weapons lying around the building. They were also drums of chemicals by what appeared to be the research section.
Recently he'd viewed a news report where a Highway Patrolman shot into a five gallon can of gasoline. The bullet punctured the first side of the gas can and the fluid just ran out. It didn't catch on fire.
He took out his silenced pistol and fired one round into the base of the closest drum. He was behind a lathe when he did it. He didn't think anything happened. He moved closer and looked. He could see there was liquid coming out of the bottom of the barrel. Whatever it was, it gave off a terrible odor. He moved back behind the lathe and did the same thing to three other drums. He wasn't sure what happened. When two of the chemicals ran together, they started to smoke. At least he thought it was smoke. He took that as his cue to leave the building.
He quickly moved over to the closest vehicle by the roll up door. It was one of their vehicles. He popped open the trunk. There was an assortment of firearms and explosives in the back of it. He glanced over at the smoking chemicals. He didn't want to be in there any longer than necessary. There was a satchel charge in the trunk. He set the timer for thirty seconds and dropped it underneath the gas tank of the vehicle.
He ran out of the building. He closed the door behind him and headed for the rear wall. He hoped to be over it before the satchel charge exploded.
Hank and Larry watched everything the Gray did inside of the building. They were a little surprised after he looked around, at what he did.
"He just shot one of the drums of chemicals." Hank said.
Larry noted the position of the drum in question.
"It's a very toxic chemical." Larry said.
They watched as he did the same thing to several other barrels.
"Those chemicals are going to become even more volatile when they mix." Hank said.
They watched as he retrieved something from the trunk of one of the vehicles his fellow Grays arrived in earlier.
"He's got one of the satchel charges." Larry said.
It was clear the Gray was going to burn the building along with everything inside of it.
"He's going to try to make a run for it." Hank said.
Larry was tired of waiting.
"I hope so." Larry said. "I'm ready for our next target."
One of the drone images indicated some movement by the female Fanatic's van.
"It looks like the Gray isn't the only one on the move." Hank said.
Hank and Larry could see several things were about to happen at once.
The female Fanatic figured the Gray was killed by the Terminator inside of the building. She decided to make her move. She started the van and put it into gear. She hoped the side gate was still open so she could reach the rear of the compound easier. She started to pull away from the curb. She heard an explosion. It was followed by several others in rapid succession. There was an even bigger explosion that happened a few seconds later.
'What the hell?' The female Fanatic thought.
She looked in the direction of the target building.
There was black smoke billowing up in the air.
The female Fanatic was pretty sure the Gray was responsible for the explosions. She backed up and parked her van again. She would wait for three minutes and see if he reappeared. If he didn't, she was going to leave the area and go to the next target on her phone.
Seconds ago:
The Gray ran from the rear of the building. He wanted to make it over the rear wall before the explosion. Maybe he should have left more time on the satchel charge. He didn't. What was done was done.
He was almost to the wall when he heard the first explosion. He didn't stop to look. He vaulted it up over the top of a wall as there were a series of other explosions. He landed on the other side of the fence when there was a massive explosion. Things went a little dark for a second or so. He felt a little groggy when he lifted his head. He shook it to clear it. He needed to catch his breath. He quickly rolled away from the wall in case some of the blocks were knocked out of it. It held. He could hear pieces of debris land around him. He wasn't going to stick around to look and inspect his handiwork. He headed back out the way he came.
He passed the dead dog along the side of the building. There was now a large piece of metal sticking out of its side. It hadn't been there earlier. There were actually pieces of metal and debris everywhere he ran. He wondered if he'd been briefly knocked out as he went over the top of the wall earlier. He sure had a headache. He kept running.
The Gray went over the gate and was out on the street in seconds. He ran straight to his vehicle, started it, and drove away. He made a right at the first street to put some distance between him and the building.
Hank and Larry were assured by CamNet there would be no emergency response to the building. They were to follow the Gray to his destination. A drone would continue to track the female Fanatic.
Watch Me Dress
Everything needs some moderation
Things can't be taken to excess
There should be honor and pride
There should be some finesse
There are those who believe
More can never equal less
They really don't understand
The true meaning of success
There aren't many ways to measure
Retreat or forward progress
They're soon self evident
Most cause distress and depress
If one wants to continue to impress
They may have a shot to caress
Don't create an unnecessary mess
Let the real inner self express
Think things through first
Before you error and transgress
You won't see me undress
Instead you'll watch me dress
Nobody
