Chapter 1279
Do Something Different
Allison and Cammy made the most of their time. They thought it was very gracious of Savannah to allow them to share. Normally Cammy would have accompanied Savannah on her run.
Cammy played the role of 'Cameron' for Allison. It always seemed to excite her greatly. It actually excited both of them immensely. Sometimes Cammy did it with Cam and then they would switch.
Allison liked it when she was with an 'Allison DNA' based cyborg. She always liked for them to play 'Cameron'.
She also liked to see what others 'saw' her as. She always thought everything looked very pleasant. It was sure a lot better than some of what she'd witnessed in the future. Vanna dealt with most of those for her.
Allison finished up rather quickly. It was probably because she was with 'Cameron'. She was pleased it was a wild finish. She was a little concerned, she'd taken things too far.
"I need to change the sheets." Allison said.
Cammy wanted to do it for her.
"I'll take care of it." Cammy said. "Savannah usually beats me to it."
Allison felt a little guilty because she'd kept Cammy there for herself. She knew she'd disrupted the normal procedure. She was aware from past experience, when the normal procedures were disrupted, it usually seemed to be the time when things went wrong.
"I should have let you go with Savannah on her run." Allison said.
Cammy made plans to cover it. It was taken care of. There were always ways to work around any situation. She possessed her own desires as well.
"I wanted to be with you." Cammy said. "Steve and Tom went with her. Everything should work out fine."
Since Allison was back at the base, she'd noticed a change in the male Terminators. It wasn't the same way when she'd left for Palmdale several years ago. They were indifferent and didn't look at them as much, with or without clothes. Now they looked all the time.
"I've noticed the male Terminators seem to pay more attention to the females now, both the Metal girls and human ones." Allison said. "I can see they really check out everyone's assets."
Cammy was aware of the evolution and development of all of the Terminators. It was all part of their programming from Skynet. The more advanced the Terminators became, the easier it was for them to blend in and become a better infiltrator.
The ultimate goal was for them to seamlessly replace a human and not be detected by anyone. If they possessed a 'Neural Interface' with them, it was much easier to pull off.
"Their development continues, as does ours." Cammy said. "The female infiltration units all developed at a faster rate."
Allison felt the female Terminators were all more 'mechanical humans' at this point in time and in their personal development. She thought she'd first heard the same explanation from Savannah, several years ago.
"I guess we all keep growing." Allison said. "I need to clean up and get ready."
Cammy wondered where she was going and with who.
"Are you going some place?" Cammy asked.
Allison wasn't used to being walled in again. It reminded her too much of the future. They needed to spend a lot of time in hiding. They could only go out during the daytime if they were in a sector where Skynet forces weren't currently active. As more time went on, the more active the Skynet forces became. Operations were always risky and usually resulted in casualties.
"It would be nice." Allison said. "I forgot how confining the base is."
Allison wanted to get out for a little bit. She was used to living at 'home'. Here she was with Vanna. Maybe it was really her true home. It reminded her love was about sacrifice.
She felt she'd suffered enough sacrifice in the future. She would rather just have love now.
The sun was up.
Holly looked at Jan and thought she looked tired.
"Do you want to go back to bed?" Holly asked.
Jan was a little sleepy but Summer was up and didn't seem tired. She didn't want to seem like a 'sleepy head'. She didn't want anyone to think she was lazy. She'd done a lot of things yesterday and stayed up longer than normal.
"I don't know." Jan said. "What else can we do?"
Holly remembered the girls wanted to go to the buffet for breakfast. If they wanted to get dressed she would take them there.
"I can always take you to the buffet for breakfast." Holly said.
Summer thought there was one other thing they could do. She kept track of what was happening around her and where the ship was currently at.
"We can watch the ship dock." Summer said. "We'll be in the harbor soon."
Jan still wanted to go in the pool. She was a little disappointed they couldn't do it last night. It seemed like a big deal to everyone else but her.
"Can we go in the pool?" Jan asked.
Holly thought it might be a little cool to go into the pool right now.
"We can go there, or go into a hot tub by the pool." Holly said.
Everything sounded good to Jan. She wondered about the activities for kids.
"Are we going to go to the 'Fun Zone' again?" Jan asked.
Holly knew Jan referred to the shipboard entertainment for children and young adults. Their parents may have other plans for them. She didn't want to promise something, or even indicate something might happen, if it could be changed by the girl's parents later on. She thought everything should be coordinated.
"I need to ask your parents first." Holly said. "They may want to go to some of the local attractions around San Diego."
Summer looked at a brochure previously. There were multiple locations where people could go to do various things.
"I'd like that." Summer said. "I saw there were a few things to do and see."
Holly wanted to make sure everything would be OK with everyone first. She didn't want the girls to get ahead of themselves. If their parents made other plans, they would be disappointed. She didn't want them to be disappointed at her either.
"I'll need to check with your mother." Holly said.
Summer didn't think it would be a problem. She was sure her mother would want to do whatever Jesse was going to do. She hoped it would be something else than each other.
Jan wondered what the things were Summer wanted to do.
"What are the choices?" Jan asked. "I know my dad and Uncle Derek want to visit the aircraft carrier."
Holly thought there were better choices for the girls.
"It's one option." Holly said. "There are other things."
Jan looked at Summer then at Holly. She had a sensitive question. She'd heard about stories from the future. She knew a lot of bad things happened. She was unsure if she should ask, but since the issue came up, she'd like to know more.
"Is the aircraft carrier the one Cameron was on before?" Jan asked. "You know…."
Holly didn't want to discuss it.
"I'm unsure if it's the same one." Holly said.
Summer didn't want the topic to expand. It would cause a problem for Cameron if it got out.
"I don't think we need to discuss any specific 'event'." Summer said. "It was resolved. It's best to leave it at that."
Jan looked at Summer and nodded. She still hoped there was something fun to try.
"What are some of the other things we can do?" Jan asked.
Summer mentioned some of the things in the brochure she'd looked at.
"I read the brochure, there were actually several." Summer said. "We can go to the zoo. It's a big one. There's a local aquatic theme park. It is sort of like a zoo for creatures who live in the ocean. I saw a city tour too. There is a group of different museums as well."
Jan didn't want to go on a city tour. She didn't care for the place they'd visited yesterday. The differences still bothered her.
"A city tour sounds boring." Jan said. "I didn't like the last place."
Holly knew San Diego wasn't Ensenada.
"San Diego is a really big city." Holly said.
Jan liked the Los Angeles area. It was the only city she knew. She usually never went far from it or its suburbs. Maybe when she went camping with Cameron sometimes, they went a little further to some 'out of the way' places.
"Is it as big as our city?" Jan asked.
Summer was aware cities could be judged on several different factors, one could be land area size, the other one could be population. Los Angeles was number two in population. San Diego was usually around number eight. There were a couple of contenders around it.
"No, it's not." Summer said. "We can also ride the city light rail and do our own tour of the city."
Jan wondered about the zoo. Her parents only took her once when she was small. She only remembered a polar bear and it kept walking back and forth in the same spot. It did the same thing the whole time they were there. It looked like something was wrong with it. She thought maybe the enclosure was too small and it was why it continued the repetitive behavior.
"I want to see the animals." Jan said. "We hardly ever get to see any."
Summer looked at Holly. She knew Terminators and animals didn't mix well. There were usually Terminators around them when they went out to any place. Animals generally wanted to be someplace different when Terminators were around. She was aware Cameron worked out a solution along with Vanna.
"Will being around animals be a problem for you?" Summer asked.
Holly was treated with the advanced pheromones. She knew all of the Metal girls were treated as well.
"Cameron provided us all with the new pheromones. Animals seem to respond very favorably to them." Holly said. "I don't know how they'll work with sea creatures. Some people are against the sea park as well."
Summer wasn't really sure she liked all the controversy which seemed to follow it around. She didn't think the parent company should bow down to a few individuals, when the majority of people wanted to see the very things a select vocal few didn't want them to see. It was the same way with other things. She often wondered why people who wanted others to revert to the Stone Age, seemed to live a life of luxury and opulence themselves. She didn't want to get sidetracked. Those weren't the issues currently. Where they were going was. She thought they should avoid the sea park.
"I would hate to see a whale or shark jump out of the tank and into the audience to try to get away from you." Summer said. "Then you would have to stop it before it started to hurt people."
Holly thought it would be a challenge.
"I've never fought a sea creature." Holly said.
Jan didn't think it would be too big of a problem.
"Most of them don't seem very intelligent." Jan said. "They don't really do anything, except exist. Some of them pose a danger to humans."
Holly tilted her head slightly. She searched her files on sharks and whales.
"I now know where to strike to stop a whale or a shark if I need to combat one on land." Holly said. "I can force their jaws open until they break if nothing else. It won't be very difficult."
Jan didn't want any animals hurt.
"Maybe we better not go there." Jan said. "I don't want to hurt any whales. I don't care so much about the sharks, all they do is kill things."
Jan always heard bad stories about sharks injuring or killing people. She never heard of them doing any good things for people. She thought if the sea creatures worked in the future, whales would work for the Resistance and sharks would work for Skynet.
Holly didn't want the girls to get ahead of themselves. She still needed to speak to Sarah and Claire first before they made too many plans.
"We can worry about it after the ship docks and we have breakfast." Holly said.
Holly looked toward the balcony door. It was silent next door.
"We can open the door now." Holly said. "It's no warmer outside than it was earlier."
Jan opened the balcony door. Cool air rushed inside.
"It's cold outside." Jan said. "I see what you meant about earlier."
Summer wanted to give Jan a reminder.
"It will be the same temperature at the pool too." Summer said.
Jan closed the balcony door. She didn't want to be cold when they went to the pool.
"Maybe we can do it later." Jan said.
Holly wanted everyone to get ready.
"We can all get dressed." Holly said.
Holly was pleased when the food cart was delivered earlier. There was a fresh set of street clothes for her, along with her M9 and Taser. She would be able to better protect the girls now. She was aware of the situation John and Cameron faced yesterday in Ensenada. She would make sure nothing of the same nature happened when she was with the girls.
Vanna took care of everything for Precious.
She was nursing Precious when Cam and Samantha showed up. They were both still naked, as was she.
"Is there anything pressing happening this morning?" Vanna asked.
Cam didn't think so. She should have been alerted.
"I haven't been made aware of anything." Cam said. "I'll check."
Samantha checked over Precious. She felt a little concerned about being away for a short time.
"I've been a little lax in my duties." Samantha said.
Vanna felt a little guilty too. She actually felt guilty about a lot of things.
"I think we all have." Vanna said. "At least those of us not in combat operations have been."
Cam put down her phone.
"I think we all need to get dressed." Cam said.
It wasn't what Vanna expected to hear. She was a little worried now.
"Is anything wrong?" Vanna asked. "How are Allison and Savannah?"
Cam realized she could have been a little clearer.
"No, nothing is wrong." Cam said. "Allison is in Savannah's room and Savannah is out for a run."
Vanna wanted to surprise Allison.
"Maybe I'll go by and see if Allison wants some breakfast." Vanna said. "I'll give her a few more minutes."
Cam wanted to remind Vanna she was available as well.
"When you're done here with everything, we can go back to our room." Cam said.
Vanna understood what she meant. She looked over at the bed in the nursery.
"I need to get cleaned up and a fresh set of clothes." Vanna said. "I need to change the sheets here first."
Samantha wanted to be useful.
"I'll take care of it." Samantha said.
Vanna appreciated it but she felt responsible.
"I'm the one who messed them up." Vanna said.
Samantha liked to stay busy.
"There's not much else for me to do, especially when Precious is asleep." Samantha said.
Vanna didn't want it to turn into an issue.
"Thanks." Vanna said. "I think I'm done for now."
Vanna looked at her clothes which were now all neatly folded. She didn't want to put them on just to walk a short distance and then need to take them off again.
"I'll just go back like this." Vanna said. "It will give John Henry a buzz."
Samantha looked Vanna over again.
"I know it gives me one." Samantha said.
Cam wanted to take care of everything herself. She wanted to send Vanna on her way.
"I'll catch up to you." Cam said. "I need to get my things."
Vanna thanked both of them and left.
Samantha carried Precious back to her room in her crib.
Cam started to change the sheets.
Samantha returned with her clothes all folded a minute later. She was surprised to see Cam finished with the bed already.
"I would have done it." Samantha said.
Cam didn't think it was a problem.
"We all help each other." Cam said.
Samantha gave Cam a soft kiss.
"I guess we all do." Samantha said.
Cam took her folded clothes and headed off after Vanna.
Both of them were naked as they headed for Vanna's room.
John Henry was very pleased at all the images he was able to view on his monitors this morning.
First there was Savannah, then Vanna and now Cam.
He needed to refocus. The images of the nude girls seemed to captivate him.
There were ongoing operations which needed to be dealt with and information to be gleaned from captured hard drives and phones.
John Henry shook his head to clear it. It made no difference. He needed to review all the images of the girls again.
Savannah ran hard. She'd slacked off a lot on her physical training. There'd been a lot of operations lately. It almost seemed non stop at times. There seemed to be a lot on her mind.
Steve and Tom started out with one in front of her and one in back of her. She didn't like them to be separate from her. She didn't want bodyguards, she wanted friends. She asked them to run with her. It seemed to please both of them greatly. It seemed all of the Terminators appreciated the inclusiveness.
They liked the way Savannah and Young Allison made them feel. All the human females were nice to them, even Sarah. The human males were too. They really wondered what Skynet's problem was. Humans and machines could coexist with no problems. They just needed to get to know each other. They actually believed it was the same way with all groups of people. There were always a few bad apples in any group. Almost everyone could get along fine with each other under normal circumstances. The only logic Skynet exhibited was illogic.
Savannah thought as she ran. There was always a lot to think about. She didn't like 'The Redheaded Witch' and 'The Evil One' references. What did it mean? Was it really her? Maybe it was an alternate timeline version of her. What if it wasn't? Did something happen which made her go 'bad' and turn into something that seemed to be worse than death? She'd watched Fanatics kill themselves rather than face her. Even an upstart version of SkyMaster chose self termination before she could question it.
She wasn't afraid to take the fight to the enemy. She just didn't think it would be to such an extreme where both people and machines would self terminate rather than need to deal with her. It still sounded like some Liquid Metal Terminator to her. She couldn't help but think back about the time the Liquid Metal creature wanted to 'absorb' Allison. None of them knew what it actually meant. Maybe she was 'absorbed' by the same type of creature. There seem to be thousands of scenarios running through her head.
Tom was a little concerned about Savannah's current physical condition. He felt he needed to say something.
"Savannah…." Tom said.
There was no answer.
"Savannah…." Steve said.
There was no answer.
Tom and Steve both looked at each other. Something was wrong. They felt they needed to intervene.
"Savannah, you need to slow down." Tom said.
It was as if Savannah didn't hear them. It made both of them even more concerned.
"You're overexerting yourself, Savannah" Steve said.
Savannah was very worried about what happened in the underground area. She needed to get away from it.
Tom decided to act. He didn't want Savannah to injure herself.
Savannah felt a strong hand touch her to stop her. She looked more than a little confused when she stopped.
Tom hoped he hadn't overstepped.
"I'm sorry." Tom said. "You need to stop before you hurt yourself."
Savannah was tired. It was hard to breathe. What happened?
Steve carried two water bottles for her. He wasn't sure it would do any good for her to drink them at this point. It appeared more drastic measures needed to be taken.
"I must cool you down." Steve said.
Savannah panted heavily.
"OK." Savannah struggled to say.
Steve ripped part of his shirt off and wet it with water and began to dab Savannah's face.
Savannah began to think a little clearer. She could tell she was severely overheated.
"Dump some on me." Savannah said. "Do it slowly."
Steve carefully did. Tom took over the wet rag. They both gingerly tended to her.
Savannah was still a little unclear what occurred and how things ended up where they did.
"What happened?" Savannah asked.
She was glad they were in the shade of a tree now. She didn't really remember going there.
Steve didn't know how to explain it to her. It was very uncomfortable for him to witness.
"You seemed to be running from something." Steve said. "You were trying to get away from it. You seemed to be terrified of something."
Savannah realized she must have been afraid of 'herself'. She was afraid of what she was going to become in the future. She'd already seen what it would do to people and machines.
Tom wanted to reassure her there were no threats around them.
"We checked everything. There was nothing in front or in back of us." Tom said.
Savannah wondered how much she'd revealed.
"Did I say what was after me?" Savannah asked.
Steve didn't want to get specific. They'd heard everything she'd said. They could tell she was terrified of whatever it was. They both had a feeling of what it was too.
"It was some kind of witch and someone evil." Steve said.
Steve and Tom still both looked around them.
"We will terminate them if we find them." Tom said. "We will protect you."
Savannah wondered if maybe she should 'order' them to do it if she went 'bad'.
She didn't think she could do it to anyone. She believed the only one she could ask would be Young Allison. She believed it should be done out of love.
Savannah was ashamed of everything related to the subject. She was as embarrassed of herself as she was of the actions of someone who looked like her. She didn't want the incident to get out. It would only create more questions about what happened. There would be a record of what she'd said, even if she's mumbled it to herself.
"I don't want anyone to know about this." Savannah said.
Steve thought someone should know. If Cameron were there, he would tell her. Cameron was on the ship. He could only think of the next closest thing to Cameron. He wanted to reassure her they would respect her privacy and follow her wishes.
"Please let us tell Cammy." Steve said. "Then we'll erase this event."
Tom could see how it troubled Savannah.
"I'll do so as well." Tom said. "We'll protect you."
Savannah touched both of them on the cheek.
"Thank You." Savannah said. "Remember, only tell Cammy. Tell her everything and don't leave anything out. I know you heard everything. I'm ashamed of it."
Savannah was surer than ever she must go 'bad'. It bothered her greatly. She thought she shouldn't be bothered if she went 'bad' against the enemy. It wasn't the point. It meant she went 'bad' as a person.
She must have let the dark side in and it took over. She remembered when she was younger, Jesse warned her about the dark side. Jesse told her it was a terrible place to dwell. The darkness only grew darker on the dark side. Jesse told her she'd done terrible things to people. Jesse was sure the most terrible thing she'd done was to let some of them live afterwards. Their lives were forever ruined. They weren't really people anymore.
Savannah hadn't really understood everything at the time. She learned later it was Cameron who'd asked Jesse to speak to her honestly. It was only later on when she found out some of the things Sheila started to do, she understood and it all made sense. It worried her because the darkness was as stimulating to Sheila, as sexual relations were. She worked with Sheila to change it.
Anna and Young Allison were out for some physical training.
Young Allison wanted to push herself. She wanted Anna to test her in several different ways as they ran.
Anna didn't want things to get carried away. She wanted to offer Young Allison several alternatives and other things to do later on.
"Do you want to go to San Diego today and see Summer?" Anna asked. "You can see your mother as well."
Young Allison wanted to see them. She needed to do her duty and prepare for the future, her future.
"I'd better not." Young Allison said. "I need to get acclimated to being alone."
Anna disagreed with her statement. She didn't believe it was the best course of action for Young Allison under any circumstances. She understood her reasoning. She thought it was flawed. She noted the pace of their run was very fast. She was sure there was a little more going on inside Young Allison's head.
"You're running hard." Anna said. "Why?"
Young Allison was unaware she'd sped up so much. There were a lot of things she needed to think about.
"I don't know." Young Allison said. "I feel uneasy."
Anna felt it was about Savannah. It was natural for 'lovers' to be concerned about each other.
"You're worried about Savannah." Anna said.
Young Allison was deeply troubled by the missing footage. More things went on in the basement of the old newspaper plant than they were being told.
"I know something happened." Young Allison said.
Anna didn't want Young Allison to bring the subject up.
"Something always happens." Anna said. "I'd wait until you see her and discuss it then. It could be a private issue. It should remain as such. You need to respect other people's privacy. If they want you to know something, they'll tell you."
Young Allison took the hint to drop it for now.
She wasn't sure if Savannah would tell her the truth or not. If it was private, it was private. She hoped if Savannah couldn't tell her what, she would tell her, 'every girl needs a few secrets'. Maybe Anna was right. It was time to move on.
Young Allison wondered if anyone was going to get off the ship. She was curious if anyone would go back to the Resistance base.
"Are any of them going to return today?" Young Allison asked.
Anna thought Riley might want to visit Precious. She'd only been away for two nights so far. It had only been a little over thirty six hours. The reports she received indicated everyone seemed to be having a good time.
"I don't think so." Anna said. "Riley may want to."
Young Allison didn't see the rush.
"She should be able to wait one more day." Young Allison said.
Anna was aware children were a very touchy subject for mothers.
"She may not want to." Anna said.
Young Allison finally asked what she'd been wondering.
"Is Savannah going?" Young Allison asked.
Anna tilted her head slightly. She'd seen no indication of any such action. The last thing she heard was Savannah was adamant about not going on the cruise.
"I don't know." Anna said.
Young Allison thought about it some more.
"I don't think so." Young Allison said.
Young Allison increased her workout speed. Maybe it would cause her less worry about things. Maybe there were some things she couldn't run away from.
She didn't consider there were some things she didn't need to run from. She should actually embrace them.
Kyle and Sarah went back inside their suite once the sun was up.
Sarah loosened up her robe some. She didn't think it hurt to advertise.
Kyle looked over at the connecting door to the spare bedroom of the Honeymoon Suite.
"Should we check on Jan?" Kyle asked.
Sarah actually wanted to look in on them. She didn't want to seem overbearing or more like a 'helicopter mother' than she already was.
"No." Sarah said. "She's with Summer and Holly. She's in good hands."
Kyle touched Sarah. He couldn't resist reaching inside of her loose robe. He began to fondle her. He could tell the headlights were still on.
Sarah was highly stimulated as Kyle touched her. She looked at him and smiled.
"I'm in good hands too." Sarah said.
Kyle wanted to know how they were going to start their day off.
"Do you want to get up or go back to bed?" Kyle asked.
Sarah felt a little tired. It was more than 'sleepy tired' too. She was physically spent a little more than normal because of all of the activity in the bed. She knew what she would like. She also knew the reality.
"I want to go back to sleep." Sarah said. "I know it never works for me. I always end up with a bigger headache in the end."
Kyle was ready to start the day. He wouldn't mind giving everything a rest for a while. He still needed to secretly talk with Derek and obtain some more medicine.
"We can get dressed and go out or stay here. The ship should dock soon." Kyle said. "Do you want to do something different today?"
Sarah knew Derek wanted to see the USS Midway. She thought it would be interesting as well. She was aware of some of the wars and battles the ship had been involved in.
"We can see the aircraft carrier with Derek." Sarah said.
Kyle wanted to see his brother happy and energized. He believed a tour of the aircraft carrier would do both of those.
"I think it will mean a lot to him." Kyle said.
Sarah looked around the suite. It was luxury at an unparalleled level for her.
"I think being here means a lot to all of us." Sarah said. "This is the nicest place I've ever stayed, and it's on a ship."
Kyle knew their quarters here were better than what the next ship could offer. He was willing to bet the suite connected to theirs, for the girls, was probably better than what an Admiral would have on the ship.
"I don't think things will be as nice on the aircraft carrier." Kyle said.
"It will make us appreciate this even more." Sarah said. "Let's get cleaned up and go out. There's a gym on our ship too."
Kyle felt he needed to support Sarah. He was more than willing to do whatever she wanted.
"Let's do it." Kyle said.
A work out was about the last thing Kyle felt like. Sarah already gave him one yesterday and last night.
Riley opened her eyes. It looked like the sun was up. She spotted a food cart inside the door. She looked back at Derek. He was sound asleep.
She felt a little sore in a few places. They'd really been pushing it. She looked at her phone. There were a few updates on it. All of them said Precious was well and there were no problems. She was able to look at a few images with each message.
She could smell coffee. It made her want a cup. She carefully got out of bed and moved to the food cart. There was orange juice, coffee and hot chocolate.
Riley poured the hot chocolate instead and drank a cup. It tasted very good. It was always something she'd heard about, like ice cream was. Those things didn't exist in the future anymore. They luxuries she was never able to enjoy until she returned to the past, the present.
There was some noise from the bed. Derek was about to wake up.
Riley poured a second cup of hot chocolate and filled another one with coffee.
She carefully carried them over to the bed. She needed to slow down a little because she didn't want to spill any on the plush carpet. She figured the next time she shouldn't fill them quite as full. She thought she could have pushed the food card over as well. Hindsight was always twenty-twenty.
Derek opened his eyes. He looked into the thigh gap between Riley's legs. It was right in front of his face. She stood naked next to the bed. He hoped he would be up to another round.
He smelled coffee and shifted his gaze upward. He saw Riley held two cups. There was one in each hand.
"Hi." Derek said.
Riley was pleased she was up before Derek for once.
"Hello, sleepyhead…." Riley said.
Derek quickly looked down at his waist. He hoped Riley wasn't talking about 'the little one'.
He sat up against the pillows.
Riley looked at the two cups she held in her hands. She was glad she hadn't spilled any yet.
"Do you want coffee or hot chocolate or both?" Riley asked.
Derek figured he could use a dose of caffeine.
"I'll start with the coffee." Derek said. "I need a little 'pick me up'."
Riley smiled as she widened her stance some. She moved the two cups of coffee to each side of her to give Derek a full of her body.
"I have everything you want right here." Riley said.
Derek eyeballed her naked figure with the two cups.
"Yes you do." Derek said. "Yes you do."
He couldn't help but moisten his lips lightly as he sucked in his breath slightly.
"Yes you do." Derek said again.
Gail sat next to Claire as she sipped her coffee and hot chocolate. They both looked out the balcony door.
She was very pleased to be where she was at and in the company of Claire.
"I can see the peacefulness of our surroundings." Gail said.
Claire looked out at the vast expanse of the ocean.
"Sometimes the simple things are the best." Claire said.
Gail reflected it was something Savannah told her before. She told her the most beautiful things, were the things which were least complicated.
"I can see it now." Gail said.
Claire felt she was neglecting her motherly duties.
"I need to check on Summer." Claire said.
Gail felt it was unnecessary. She didn't see the 'mother' aspect to it.
"She's with Holly and Jan. There's nothing to check on." Gail said.
Claire didn't want to make Holly think she didn't trust her to watch over the girls.
"I guess there isn't." Claire said.
Gail wanted to refocus Claire's attention.
"Do you want to get dressed?" Gail asked.
Claire reached over and touched Gail's leg.
Gail felt the increased warmth in Claire's hand from holding the warm drink. It sent a sense of excitement through her.
Claire's hand moved a little higher up Gail's leg.
"We can share one more time if you want." Claire said.
Gail was all in for some more. She probably wouldn't have this big of an opportunity to be with Claire alone in a setting like this again.
"I'd like to share with you." Gail said.
Gail planned to give Claire a good time. She wouldn't be able to take her 'all the way there' where she'd taken Jesse before. Claire was pregnant. It wouldn't be good for her or the baby if she needed to administer CPR. She was sure she could bring her right to the edge. She wouldn't cross it, even if Claire wanted her to. She'd needed to do it for Jesse too many times already.
Jesse and Ally finished up again.
"There's a food cart." Ally said after Jesse calmed down some.
Jesse wanted to catch her breath.
"I'll check it out in a minute." Jesse said.
Ally felt content she'd pleased Jesse so thoroughly.
"I'll bring it over and serve you whatever you want." Ally said.
Jesse looked at Ally's naked figure.
"I think you just did." Jesse said with a smile.
Ally reflected on their last experience.
"I guess I did." Ally said.
Ally wanted to satisfy all of Jesse's needs.
Cameron watched the sunrise with John.
He paid a lot of attention to her and was very nice to her.
It bothered her because no one else was there like she thought there was going to be. She'd wanted 'more' for John.
"Do you want some juice?" Cameron asked.
John noticed Cameron was distracted. He didn't know if he should mention it or not. He decided he should.
"I didn't think you were with me for a while." John said.
Cameron didn't want to say what she'd been contemplating.
"I tried to take in the beauty of the sunrise." Cameron said. "I focused on it."
John was ready for a little more right now.
"What do you want to do next?" John asked.
Cameron really wanted to use a different chassis.
"I don't know." Cameron said.
John gave Cameron a kiss.
"I do." John said. "You get to be yourself. You get to be the best version of yourself."
John led Cameron back to the bedroom in their suite.
Cameron frowned a little. She wanted John to be happy. She couldn't see John wanted her to be happy too. It was a two way street. She kept trying to treat it like a one way street.
The female Fanatic was pretty sure the Gray was responsible for the explosions. She backed up and parked her van again. She would wait for three minutes and see if he reappeared. If he didn't, she was going to leave the area and go to the next target on her phone.
Much to her surprise, she saw someone move in the near distance. They didn't really look around as they ran across the street. They quickly got into the vehicle and started it up. It rapidly drove away from the area it was parked.
They turned right at the first street they came to. It was still two streets in front of her. She started her van and followed it. She kept an eye out for anyone else moving around. She was sure if she spotted anyone else, it would be a Terminator. She looked over towards the billowing smoke and made a left hand turn on the street before the one the Gray turned at. She expected to see him pass in front of her very soon.
Seconds ago:
The Gray went over the gate and was out on the street in a few seconds. He ran straight to his vehicle, started it, and drove away. He made a right at the first street to put some distance between him and the building.
He looked in back of him right before he got into the vehicle. He could see the smoke billowing up from the location. He didn't think there was anyone who would follow him. Everyone he'd encountered in the building was already dead. It was possible someone had been in hiding and exited the building once it caught on fire. He didn't think they would have survived the blast unless they went over one of the side walls as soon as they came out of the building. He hadn't stopped to look.
Right now he wanted to put some distance between him and the burning building. He didn't see anyone else out so he didn't think it was a problem. There wouldn't be anyone to report him to the authorities.
He kept a watch in his rear view mirror. There was no one behind him. He was going to head back towards his base of operations. He made a left when he reached a larger street. No one was behind him when he turned. There were a few other cars on the street now.
He looked back over his shoulder and could see the smoke billowing up. He felt he was far enough away not to be associated with the incident. It was clear no one followed him. He would try to drive in a normal fashion so he didn't attract any unnecessary attention. There would probably be emergency vehicles converging on the location soon. It would most likely be fire units along with some police units. He wanted to stay off of the radar.
The Gray headed for his base.
The female Fanatic anticipated the direction the Gray would turn. She was one street over from him when he made his getaway. She continued on the parallel street. She checked behind her to make sure no one followed her. They didn't. She was rewarded less than a minute later when she saw the Gray's vehicle cross on the street in front of her and went in the direction she'd anticipated. She continued her approach to the larger street. She needed to wait for a car to go by before she could make her left hand turn and follow him.
He was several streets ahead when she fell in behind him. He was in the left lane. She moved to the right lane. She didn't want it to look like she was following him. She expected to see emergency vehicles converge on the area. She didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention to herself.
She checked her phone and the location of the other addresses she'd obtained. She tried to determine if he was headed to one of the locations she'd flagged. Several of them were in a different direction from where he was headed. Two of them actually were in the direction he was going. She thought it was a pretty good bet it would be one of the two where he ended up at. She could see he wasn't in a big hurry.
The female Fanatic followed behind the Gray. She left him plenty of space.
Hank and Larry were assured by CamNet there would be no emergency response to the building. They were to follow the Gray to his destination. A drone would continue to track the female Fanatic.
It appeared everything would play out in their favor. The female Fanatic soon fell in behind the Gray. They followed both of them on a parallel street. They were unsure as to the destination of the Gray. They were sure the female Fanatic would stay with him. She also seemed to have a list of targets of her own. They weren't sure if she would attempt to use her fuel bomb against the location the Gray entered our use it at whatever other locations she may have flagged.
They went over all of the information several times from the operation conducted by Cam last night. Cam and her team had been led into an elaborate ambush. It appeared to be from a group of Skynet Grays. They thought they would be dealing with the anti-Metal faction or even the Fanatics.
CamNet hoped to make a connection. She was sure it would be tied in to some of the information the female Fanatic possessed.
They were to remain on alert and disengage from either the Gray or the female Fanatic if CamNet turned up a lead.
Hank and Larry would have preferred some direct action.
"It looks like we're babysitters for now." Hank said.
Larry didn't see it as too big of a problem, even if he wanted some action as well.
"The drones can take over for us." Larry said. "Both Savannah and Young Allison are out on their physical training currently. More than likely Savannah will respond to any leads John Henry uncovers. We may need to back her up."
Hank was aware most of the Resistance Terminators were tied up with the cruise ship or the ports it would visit.
"If we're lucky, we'll have some direct involvement with them." Hank said.
Larry wasn't sure there would be any luck involved. He was more worried if they needed to interact with either one of them, there was probably going to be some type of problem.
"CamNet will direct us to where we're most needed." Larry said
Hank and Larry continued to follow the female Fanatic and the Gray on a parallel street.
Do Something Different
When it comes to relations
Few things are written in cement
The rules are often bent
They can leave a big dent
What is usually said
Is seldom what is meant
More often than not
People complain and vent
What's the real message
That's portrayed and sent
Are things the real deal
Or just a minor event
One needs to ask
What is the real intent
Are the way things headed
Only going to cause torment
Everyone's in agreement
They will only lament
Things will never change
Until they do something different
Nobody
