Finchsong's point of view
Outside of the den the wind howled in the cold night the almost full moon sat quietly in the night sky as silverpelt danced above.
Finchsong sat curled up in the warriors den beside her brother Flamestorm and Myrtleflower even inside her nest in the warriors den pressed up next to Flamestorm and Myrtleflower the bitter cold wind cut through Finchsong's pelt shaking her pelt to the bone it had been so cold that Bramblestar, Jayfeather, Alderheart, Cherryfall, Waspkit, Aspenkit, and the elders had moved their nest's into the warriors den.
Finchsong couldn't sleep with the children of the kin lurking around the lake Finchsong couldn't let herself sleep even if she wanted to lots of cats couldn't sleep the idea of Sleekwhisker and her gang stalking silently through the underbrush like a pack of wolves armed with razor scarp teeth and claws right outside the camp outside made Finchsong keep her eyes open.
Flamestorm wasn't sleeping either he was trying to take his mind off things by fiddling with a ball of moss in his front paws.
" Burr great Starclan it's cold outside" Finchsong heard Leafshade whispered under her breath
" Dam right it's so cold out right now it feels like my tail's gonna fall off" Thornclaw agreed with her.
" It's almost midnight it think Bayblossom and Shellfur are gonna be back from watch shift anytime now" Leafshade added Finchsong didn't realize how early it was still it felt like the night had gone on forever probably just because of how long she had been worrying about the children of the kin.
" Who has the next watch shift?" " Me and Finchsong" Leafshade responded " Oh great if this isn't the last thing that i wanted to do right now" Finchsong sighted to herself as she rose to her paws sitting out in the freezing cold with a stick in the mud like Leafshade wasn't exactly her idea of fun.
From the entrance of the warriors den the pelt's of Shellfur and Bayblossom slide into the den eyes glowing in the dark of night.
Bayblossom and Shellfur shook their snow covered pelt's before padding down into their nest's " Alright Finchy you're turn to go and freeze you're tail off in the cold" Bayblossom joked as he sat down in his nest beside Flamestorm.
" Thanks Bayblossom you're not making this any less painful for me" Finchsong retorted as she headed out of the warriors den with Leafshade.
" Anytime Finchsong" Bayblossom replied before tucking his head in to sleep.
Outside was freezing cold the wind howled in the night wiping snow into Finchsong eyes and biting into her pelt the tree's rustled in the night above the moon shined in the clear night sky the camp was completely empty aside from herself and Leafshade and covered in snow an eerie feeling of dread hung over the camp like a deep dark fog.
Finchsong padded down in front of the camp entrance well Leafshade took the guard position at the dirt place entrance Finchsong's blue eyes scanned across the thicket surrounding the Thunderclan camp " Good Starclan this isn't fun" " I agree" Leafshade gave her usual short response.
A rustle in the thicket sent Finchsong's pelt bristling at the sound in the dark Leafshade turned her head as well thankfully it appeared to just be a crow hunting for scraps in the underbrush.
" Oh thank Starclan it was just a crow that could have been so much worse"
" Ya the last thing that we would want was the kin right now" Leafshade spoke quietly
The crow sat silently on a tree eating a worm that it had found in the underbrush Finchsong watched as it flew off into the night sky
Finchsong sat quietly shaking the snow free from her paws every two minutes or so do to how much snow was piled on the ground the freezing snow made Finchsong's feet shiver and numb

Applepaw's point of view
Outside nestled between her sister Woodpaw and Songpaw Applepaw sat tapping her claws against her nest normally this was the time she was fast asleep in her bedding but now with those nasty mousedung that was the kin on the prowl Applepaw wasn't going to sleep not when Windclan needed her not like she was going to anyway with how loud Woodpaw was snoring that cat could snore so loud that it's a wonder that anyone in Windclan was sleeping at all.
Unlike her the rest of the apprentices were fast asleep curled up in their nest's.
Nearby Applepaw could make out the silhouette's of Fernstripe and Hootwhisker standing guard at the camp entrance Applepaw would be out their right now but she had already done her night watch shift and Fernstripe insisted that she take Applepaw's spot at watch.
" Haa great Starclan Woodpaw even if i wanted to how would i sleep with that snoring" Applepaw sighed to herself
" Might as well think of something to do well i wait for the night to pass"
" Hmm but what to do without disturbing the others"
" Maybe i should try that hole looking at the surroundings things that Whistlepaw suggested"
The wind wiped outside blowing snow across the flat surface of the moor the star's in the sky dazzled above in the night sky shinning in brilliant shades of blue's violets' and purples.
The feeling of her clanmates warm pelts and brilliant night sky above gave Applepaw a lovely calming feeling sort of like when she was a kit curled up next to Woodpaw and Heathertail they both had that same warm and comforting feeling of safety that Applepaw hadn't really felt since she was a kit .
Applepaw's train of thoughts was interrupted by Hootwhisker.
" Hey Fernstripe i think are night watch is up now"
" Ya i think you're right who's up after us?"
" If i remember right then it should be Oatclaw and Leaftail"
Hootwhisker and Fernstripe trotted over to the rest of the warriors.
" Leaftail Oatclaw come one it's time for you're watch shift"
" Ugg fined i guess i kind of have to get up" Leaftail rose to his paws.
Suddenly a loud shriek rang out through the camp
" Attack!"
Starling's point of view
" Ok Ok here we go here we go"
Starling sat crouched in the heather stalking through the heather uncomfortably watching the WindClan camp Elephant and Dragon crouched beside him waiting for Viper's signal.
So far the plan had gone off successfully Bully, Karen, Chicken, and Tiger had gone into the camp alone they were sent in to make it look like a rouge attack and throw of the Windclan cats well the rest of the Kin spread out around the camp to ambush the Windclan cats.
Starling, Dragon and Elephant were along the left flank of the camp lead by Viper along with Flair, Prodigy, Sourdough, Sugar, Sam, Pancake, and London there group was going to be the first to attack followed shortly by the third group led by juno.
Inside the camp loud screeches rang out across the camp Starling's heart began to race waiting for the first four to run it was the signal for Starling's group to attack.
" Great Mousedung I'm so excited! iv never been in a actual fight i hope that my trainings been"
" Elephant shut it we have a objective to fulfill" Dragon interrupted Elephant eyes focused on the Windclan camp " Remember we fight for the kin and we fight to kill
The silhouettes of Karen, Bully, Chicken and, Tiger rush out of the Windclan camp entrance that was the signal that Starling's group to launch their attack.
" Now! Go! Go! Go! Move Out!" Viper signaled with her tail Starling's legs sprang into action launching him forward the Windclan camp wall getting closer.
" This is it Starling lets give it all that we've got" Elephant Sprinted beside Starling panting heavily to his left to his right Dragon rushed past him eyes focused on the Windclan camp wall.
The wall was now within the distance that Starling could make out the bracken thorns Starling watched as Viper give the tail signal to get ready to jump the bright golden tabby she-cat leaped forward easily clearing the wall of bracken followed by Sugar and Prodigy Starling crouched mid run legs coiling before springing forward across the wall.
Unfortunately Starling had overestimated his jumping skill and he crashed into the bracken wall the pointy branches digging into his pelt Starling shrieked in pain as he tried to pull himself out of the bracken.
The Windclan camp was full of shrieking and cats battling with each other Starling caught sight of Elephant battling with a pure black she-cat the she-cat battered Elephants muzzle blood started dripping from Elephant's face well Elephant slashed at the black she-cat's belly.
Starling pushed himself free of the bracken wall thorns scraping on his pelt he could feel the blood gushing from his open wounds by the time he had pushed himself free of the bracken the second attack group was already bounded into the camp and started battling with the Windclan cats.
" Alright Starling remember what you trained for it's all led to this"
Applepaw's point of view
" Dam Kin should have known they'd pull a sneaky trick on us like this" Applepaw cursed to herself but for now she had to brush those negative thoughts aside this was no time for beating herself up there was a battle to fight and Applepaw needed to be in the right head space.
" Those dam Kin attacked us we have to stop them it's what Starclan and the prophecy would want you have to stop those vermin no matter what"" Applepaw though to herself as she threw herself into the thick of things were the main action was taking place claws out suddenly a tremendous force slammed into Applepaw knocking her to the ground.
A cream and white she cat stood above Applepaw pinning her throat to the ground Applepaw knew that if she didn't stop her Applepaw would for sure be dead reaching out her hind leg Applepaw plunged her claws into the the she-cat's belly blood began to gush from the wound.
The she-cat shrieked in pain loosening her grip on Applepaw's throat Applepaw bit down on the she-cat's leg the warm sticky taste of blood ran across Applepaw's mouth the distraction let Applepaw move out from under the she-cat before she could get up the she-cat lunged for her belly.
Even though she had gotten her throat free from the she-cat's claws she was still on the ground and on the back foot with the she-cat standing above her the she-cat hissed before slashing Applepaw's belly open blood sprayed onto the ground the pain was searing through Applepaw's belly but she had to stomach it.
Suddenly the she-cat shrieked in pain and released Applepaw from her grip and began to thrash wildly Applepaw rose to her feet to see what had made the she-cat stop attacking only to see the light brown pelt of her mother Heathertail biting into her shoulder the she-cat retaliated by spinning wild and raising onto her hind legs and slashing Heathertail's nose then hooking her claws onto her muzzle.
Applepaw launched herself the she-cat slamming into her side then slashing her thigh the she-cat unhooked her from Heathertail's muzzle to face Applepaw she felt a sharp pain as the she-cat kicked Applepaw in the face cutting her above her eyelids blood pored down Applepaw's face blood obscuring her vision before she could get up the she-cat lunged for her throat biting into her fur before Heathertail stopped her.
Applepaw staggered to her feet to see Heathertail slam the she-cat to the ground on her side.
" Thanks' for the help Applepaw" Heathertail panted between breaths as he slashed the she-cat's stomach
" Go find you're father and sisters i can handle this one by myself"
" Got it" Applepaw nodded to her mother one last time before running off to find someone to fight.
Applepaw her a loud shriek from the bracken wall to see the even more kin cat's burst threw that now torn thicket.
" Urrrg those dam kin played us"
Applepaw heard Harestar meow in frustration it all made since the Kin were sending in their cat's in groups one at a time to weaken down the Windclan cats before finishing them off i clever strategy .
" Songpaw get over hear" Harestar beckoned Applepaw watched as Songpaw emerged from the battle blood dripping from her tortoiseshell pelt.
" Yes Harestar what is it" Songpaw panted out clearly exhausted from fighting.
" Songpaw go to Thunderclan tell them the situation we have and get them hear as fast as possible now!"
Applepaw watched Songpaw bound across the camp.
" No no Applepaw you've got to focus you're clanmates lives are at stake" Applepaw though to herself
" Dam those Kin vermin I'm gonna take down every last one of those mouse brained traitors or I'm gonna die trying"
