Chapter 1283

My Room It Is

Previously:

The female Fanatic headed for the fence along the side of the property to the building in back of the target building. There was a box truck backed up to the dock. She would take it for now just to get away from the area. She reached the fence and looked over.

She was a little dismayed to see there was debris on the hood of the truck and the front windshield was broken. She could see some type of liquid on the ground in front of the truck. She figured the cooling system had been compromised. More than likely the radiator was damaged.

There was another smaller explosion from the burning building. She continued out towards the front of the property she was in and went over the fence. She thought maybe she should have checked first to make sure there were no vehicles waiting. Luckily there was nothing when she landed on the other side.

She looked over towards where she'd tossed out some weapons from the van earlier. She didn't want to be spotted carrying any long guns if there were going to be emergency vehicles in the area soon. She decided to further conceal the small cache of weapons. She took one pistol and several extra magazines. A pistol would give her access to any vehicle she wanted by simply carjacking it if she needed to. If she needed to shoot the driver, she would shoot the driver. They'd be a nonbeliever anyway. They would never reach Ascension in the past.

She moved the rest of the weapons behind the shrubbery against the wall of the building they were in front of. She took one more look around to make sure she hadn't been spotted. It was still early and no one had reported to any of the other businesses yet to start working. She doubted they would be able to. More than likely the entire block would be cordoned off when they called in the bomb squad to search for additional explosives in the building.

She looked across the street towards the burning building. She couldn't see the actual building behind the other building. Thick black smoke billowed into the sky. She needed to get moving. She thought about going over the fence and through the property to their rear and then over the rear fence of the property in back of it to the next street. After her encounter with the dog, she decided to head for the side street instead.

It would have been nice to have kept the silenced pistol. Hopefully she would be able to obtain another one. There were still several more potential targets she needed to visit.

The Gray knew it was hopeless for those inside the burning building. He needed some transportation to get away from the area. He would head for an alternate location known as Tango. There were some delivery vehicles in the rear of some of the buildings. He would need to take one of those for now to get away from the area.

He needed to worry about one of the two cars engaged in the gun battle returning. They were obviously there for a reason. How both groups knew their location was unknown. The more he thought about it, the more likely it was both of them might return at some point. It just might not be at the same time. He wanted to get off of the streets immediately.

He moved through the first property he came to. It was two buildings down from his burning building. He took one more look back at the flaming mass, and billowing black smoke. He passed along the side of the building and headed for the rear.

The van he'd observed shortly before the blast, must have been the cause of the explosion. The way everything happened so quickly, he was sure it was a suicide bomber. It put the blame squarely on those nut jobs who worshiped SkyMaster as if it was some type of god. All it was, was a future version of Skynet. He wondered what was wrong with those people.

There was a sign on the gate he was about to reach. 'Beware Of Dog', was written on the sign. He reached for his pistol and realized he didn't have it. He didn't have any weapons. He wasn't about to go back and look for any either. It was time to move on. He stopped and moved over to the next property and went over the fence. He never heard the dog bark. He figured it was probably cowering in fear after the multiple explosions. Explosions would have been a little rough on the dog's sensitive hearing. It had been rough on his hearing. There was a steady 'ring' inside both of his ears ever since the blast occurred.

There were no vehicles in the rear of the property he was in or on either side. He headed for the back fence.

Hank and Larry could see the Gray survived. The other two vehicles which had been shooting at each other were long gone. They were directed to stay with the female Fanatic and the Gray for now.

They were a little surprised to learn they were about to lose most of their drone support. They were told it was to help back up the operation Savannah was on. They were a little dismayed to find out the operation Savannah was involved with was a result of what they'd witnessed earlier with the two vehicles.

There would only be one drone to provide them with surveillance images between the Gray and the female Fanatic. It would also have to be on the lookout for any additional threats.

They could see both the Gray and the female Fanatic attempted to put some distance between where they were and the burning building. With the two unknown vehicles in the area earlier, it was understandable. They would need to remain on the lookout for any follow up action on the part of either group.

Hank wanted to take some definitive action.

"It's time we terminate one or both of these individuals." Hank said.

Larry understood his concern. They could both prove useful going forward.

"There's still a possibility they will lead us to additional targets." Larry said.

Hank thought the only thing it was going to lead to, was their escape.

"I could beat the information out of them." Hank said.

Larry was aware of the standard Terminator interrogation tactics.

"We need to be careful when we put the grab on the female Fanatic. She might use her poison tooth to evade questioning." Larry said.

Hank was a little concerned about the two targets they were tasked with dealing with.

"We may lose one of the targets unless we split up." Hank said.

Larry knew Savannah wanted them to operate in pairs. It didn't matter if they worked for Cameron or not.

"You know it's only permitted in extreme circumstances." Larry said. "CamNet can take out either of the individuals with a missile strike if it becomes necessary. There's also the new technique developed to use the minigun from high altitude. It's been successfully tested several times with extreme accuracy and proven results."

Hank and Larry were directed to stay with the female Fanatic for now. There was a better than even chance she would eventually end up at the other location wherever the Gray ended up at.

The Gray went over the fence into the property in back. He was mindful of any watch dogs when he landed on the other side. None were spotted or heard. There was a stake side truck backed up to the dock. He was going to take it. He would exchange it for another vehicle later on. Right now he wanted to put some distance between himself and the burning building.

There was another small explosion in the background. He didn't want to be spotted or stopped leaving the area as the emergency response ramped up. He was actually surprised he hadn't heard any sirens yet. He didn't know there wouldn't be any emergency response anytime soon.

The Gray started the stake side truck and drove out of the property. He was glad to see he didn't need to knock down the gate with the truck to get out to the street. It was open.

The female Fanatic hurried along the side street. She was going to cut in on the next street over. She still didn't see any vehicles around her. She decided to go one more street before she moved in to look for another vehicle.

She was worried one of the two vehicles engaged in the gun battle would return. They wouldn't know who she was. It didn't mean they wouldn't shoot at her anyway. The earlier run in with the street gang was in her mind as well. She thought they'd suffered a pretty heavy blow several times over during the night.

She headed down the third side street away from the target location. She went in the opposite direction to the other side to put more distance between her and the burning building.

The female Fanatic spotted a pickup truck parked between two of the buildings. She quickly moved up to it and checked the radiator for heat. There was none. She was able to open it and get it started. She quickly drove away from the area.

Hank and Larry reluctantly left the Gray behind and continued to loosely pursue the female Fanatic. The single drone they were left with would need to keep watch on both of them for as long as it could. CamNet wanted them to stick with the female Fanatic.

Savannah was glad Allison and Vanna were away from the problem area. She would be more relieved when they were back at the base. She quietly contacted CamNet to see if any other Terminators were available to shadow them back to the base.

CamNet informed her Richard and Michael would intercept them. Savannah asked her to let Cam know. CamNet assured her it would be taken care of. Al and Ed were also being dispatched to their area. They'd been checking up some other leads.

Savannah was satisfied with what would happen with Vanna and Allison. Now it was time for Cammy and her to get involved. She was a little worried about the nature of the threat. It appeared it could involve the anti-Metal faction as well as the Fanatics. One of the groups could be Grays as well.

"So what is our next move?" Savannah asked.

Cammy was in no hurry to get Savannah into a battle. She would have preferred if she'd gone with Vanna and Allison. It wasn't the case.

"We need to sit tight until we get a lead or some information." Cammy said. "We can get you some breakfast while we wait."

Savannah was hungry. It sounded really good to her but the team came first. She wanted to be ready to act if necessary.

"Hardly…." Savannah said. "I'm fine."

Cammy needed to suppress a frown. After the reports she was given by Steve and Tom earlier, she knew Savannah was anything but fine. She knew Cameron was a bad influence on her.

Steve went back one more row in the SUV and checked the vests. He returned with an energy bar and a bottle of water. He offered them to Savannah.

"Please, Savannah." Steve said. "You know we all care."

Savannah could see Tom and Steve were both concerned about her. She didn't want to create an issue. She smiled at both of them and took the items.

"I'll try a few bites for now." Savannah said. "Thank you."

Cammy looked at her and smiled. She tried to decide which lead they should follow first. There was one loose and she would rather wrap up more than the other. It was based on what was said in the basement of the old newspaper plant.

"I think we should look for the Fanatic." Cammy said. "John Henry and CamNet are searching for the anti-Metal duo and their vehicle."

Savannah took a bite of the energy bar and offered a bite to Cammy.

Cammy tried a tiny piece.

Savannah worried about someone who was injured and desperate. She wouldn't put anything past them.

"The drone over us needs to search for anyone who may appear to be hiding or hurt." Savannah said. "They may also have acquired new transportation. The last report indicated they were armed and shot. Anything could have happened at this point."

Steve pointed out a more sinister option.

"They could carjack someone if they still possessed the firearm." Steve said.

Tom thought there were other factors to consider.

"The extent of their injuries would probably determine their desperation." Tom said.

Savannah didn't think there was too much they could do about it right now. She took another bite out of the energy bar and offered it to Steve and Tom. They both politely declined. She smiled at them.

It was the smile that did it. Steve and Tom both felt it. They'd physically felt it when Savannah held their hands earlier. Now they felt it when Savannah looked at them and smiled at them. It was a pleasant feeling. It also seemed very uncomfortable to 'feel' for some reason. It was the same effect Savannah and Young Allison seemed to make all the Terminators 'feel' in their presence.

Savannah wanted to go on the offensive. She figured Young Allison dispatched more drones to assist them. She was still surprised they were able to get drone support as quickly as they were. She was unaware CamNet was currently conducting her own operation separate from the Resistance with Hank and Larry. CamNet actually borrowed the drones from their operation. The operation they were about to embark on now was a spillover effect from their operation.

"Maybe we should cruise the area and see what we can spot." Savannah said. "I bet we have more drones on the way too."

Cammy was given a timetable by CamNet. She was a little surprised so many drones were available as quickly as they were. It made her wonder how it was possible. She wanted Savannah protected. Now wasn't the time to question anything.

"CamNet has just confirmed it." Cammy said. "Two more will be here in three minutes and two more in four minutes after them."

Savannah was willing to bet 'Coltan Overcast' and 'Cherry Bomb' were two of them. She didn't ask. It was evident they volunteered to assist on any mission she was on or when Young Allison and her were out. If for some reason they weren't out, by her asking, they would be dispatched anyway.

"It's good to know." Savannah said. "It was a very fast response."

'…For a new situation.' Savannah almost added, but didn't.

Savannah hoped all they would be needed for was recon or surveillance. There were a lot of unknowns so far. There were a lot of different police agencies in the area. Maybe she should have John Henry and CamNet try and reduce their presence. They all seemed like potential targets to her.

She didn't know about the trail of destruction left behind during the last day by the female Fanatic and all the locations she'd either visited or was involved with.

It seemed there was a lot going on behind the scenes.

The police would run into trouble they didn't need if they tangled with any of the groups from the future. A worst case scenario would be a hostile Terminator becoming involved in a confrontation. It would end badly for the authorities.

Cam drove Allison and Vanna back towards the base.

Allison felt bad about leaving Savannah and Cammy behind.

"I feel like we ran out on Cammy and Savannah." Allison said.

Cam knew Savannah wanted Vanna and Allison out of the danger zone.

"We didn't run out on anyone." Cam said.

Vanna felt it too. It wasn't a good feeling.

"We did sort of leave them there." Vanna said.

Cam wanted them to see the big picture.

"You must think of Allison's baby and Precious." Cam said.

It sounded like a 'cop out' to Allison.

"We also think of the others as well. They matter too." Allison said.

Cam didn't want to argue about the issue. They were doing exactly what Savannah asked them to do. She thought the girls should respect Savannah's decision. She wanted to change the subject.

"We can still go to the pancake house before we go back. There's another location not too far away." Cam said.

Allison mulled over the issue. The more she thought about it, the more it upset her.

"What about Savannah?" Allison asked. "When does she get to eat or even rest for that matter?"

The issue bothered Vanna as well.

"Savannah isn't a cyborg." Vanna said. "She needs food and rest and restroom breaks."

Allison looked at Vanna. She was unsure she should say what she wanted to say. She decided to say it anyway.

"When I was with her earlier, I saw all the bruises, cuts and scrapes on her body." Allison said. "There were a lot of them. Her body is taking a physical beating. It's abuse someone her age shouldn't have, not in this time period."

Vanna quickly looked at Allison. She'd been troubled by the same thing.

"I've seen them as well." Vanna said. "It's terrible."

Cam shared with Savannah too. The evidence of the abuse to Savannah's body was everywhere. She didn't believe it was anyone's fault. Nobody told Savannah what to do. Savannah went on operations by her own choice. She'd stayed behind with Cammy by her own choice.

"I've seen all of them." Cam said. "There does seem to be an increase in them. She always ends up with more before the older ones go away."

Allison worried about the mental damage, not just the physical damage.

"What's it doing to her?" Allison asked. "It can't be anything good. It has to mess with her mind. No girl wants to look like that. Every female worries about her body as it is. It doesn't matter if it's in the future or the past or the present. Every girl wants to look pretty. She wants to hear someone tell her she's pretty, even if she isn't."

Cam previously addressed the issue with Cameron.

"I'll mention it to Cameron again." Cam said. "I have before and so has Cammy. Cammy is very upset whenever Savannah is damaged. She gets into arguments with Cameron over it. They need to keep it civil because of their promises to Savannah."

Vanna stated the obvious.

"Then Cammy must be upset all the time." Vanna said.

Cam knew Savannah didn't want Cameron and Cammy to physically fight with each other ever again. She'd been there one time when it happened. It was a culmination of events which exploded out of control. She remembered how deeply Savannah was hurt by it. She'd never heard Savannah cry like she had before. It was terrible to think about right now. She really wanted to discuss something else.

"Would you still like to go to the other pancake house?" Cam asked.

Vanna was as upset as Allison now about Savannah. They didn't think she was being treated fairly, even if things were by her own choice.

"I've lost my appetite." Vanna said. "Maybe we should just go back."

Allison didn't like the other location of the pancake house because it was in a regular building and didn't have the blue alpine roof. There was some blue paint on the front of the wall. It just looked cheap.

"I agree." Allison said. "I don't like the other one anyway. It doesn't have any pizzazz."

Cam tilted her head slightly. Both restaurants served identical food. She didn't think decor or construction should make a difference. She wanted the girls to get something to eat. She decided on a different approach. She remembered another place Vanna tried on several occasions when they were out.

"We can stop by the 'clown in the box' and get a breakfast sandwich to take back with us." Cam said. "We're already out. Those are good too, I know Vanna likes them."

Allison looked at Vanna and nodded.

Vanna figured it was better to keep things simple.

"We can go there." Vanna said. "It's on the way back."

Vanna liked the breakfast sandwich with either a sausage patty or the ham. The hash brown sticks were good too. It was all a little salty and tasted good. She liked the tacos they made for lunch and dinner. It was too early to get them now. They actually contained some type of soybean meal instead of beef for the 'meat'. They tasted excellent.

Anna received good news from CamNet.

"There will be five drones searching the area around where Cammy and Savannah are at very soon." Anna said. "One will remain with Cammy's team."

Young Allison was still a little surprised at the rapid drone response. She wondered what else was going on. She didn't think now was the time to ask. She was worried about the Fanatics and anti-Metal faction.

"That's good." Young Allison said. "I want to help them. I want them protected."

Anna went over some of what CamNet was doing.

"CamNet has analyzed past satellite photos of the area the suspected Fanatic fled in." Anna said. "She's comparing it to the new drone footage she's received."

Young Allison wanted the drones closer but it was broad daylight and they needed to remain at altitude for recon. She thought there was a way to narrow the parameters of the search. The entire area didn't need to be searched. It seemed to her only certain sections would need to be checked. At least they should be checked first before the rest of them.

"I know the visible detail is less from fifty thousand feet." Young Allison said. "I want to look for probable avenues of escape he could have used."

Anna was aware the police investigated the surrounding area.

"The police reports indicate they searched the area and found nothing." Anna said.

Young Allison figured if they were from the future, they were used to hiding if they were out on a patrol. It didn't matter what group they belong to. There were always other groups to hide from until one of them held an advantage over the other. The police didn't know what they were dealing with. She didn't think the perpetrator would hide from Cammy's SUV since it didn't look like a police car.

"I think if he's hurt, he hasn't gone far." Young Allison said. "Cammy is driving a plain SUV. It doesn't look like a police vehicle. When he spots a black and white, he knows to hide from it or remain hidden until it passes. Maybe she'll have more luck."

Anna knew Cammy could use different vision spectrums and zoom in on things. They would be better than what the police could see.

"Perhaps she will." Anna said. "There are more options available with the use of the drones."

Young Allison knew John Henry and CamNet were all over everything and checked it all. She wanted to make sure every avenue was investigated.

"I know they're checking the traffic cams." Young Allison said. "What about any private security cameras? I know there are a lot of doorbell cams and cams in people's cars too."

Anna was informed CamNet was already doing everything possible.

"CamNet is checking for any that broadcast from the camera to a base unit or a receiver and anything sent over the phone lines or air waves." Anna said. "Anything that sends out any kind of a signal is being investigated in the area."

Young Allison considered something else to watch for. Someone didn't need to be a Terminator to set a dog off if it felt its territory was invaded. Other animals would act the same way.

"Look for any unusual animal activity in yards as well." Young Allison said. "Animals don't like strangers in their yards. They may not attack, but they will be agitated and show it."

It sounded reasonable to Anna. She wanted to try out her new pheromones and see if animals liked her now instead of cowered in fear. She was aware Cammy was able to pet both puppies and kittens in the pet store. She'd also been able to hold the puppy she'd found in the drainage system. Cam was able to hold it as well. She didn't think anyone liked someone in an area where they didn't belong. Animals would tend to operate on instinct.

"It's understandable." Anna said. "No one likes strangers or interlopers."

Young Allison figured a dog was most likely to respond negatively to an intruder. Cats and birds would respond to a much lesser degree. Most of them would tend to run or hide. If they had young offspring nearby, they would become defensive. She remembered watching a video about someone with a pet goose. It would attack everyone like a dog and actually bite them. People didn't see it for the threat it was until it was too late.

"He may be hiding and there might be an animal that doesn't like the intrusion." Young Allison said. "There are little things we need to look for."

Anna forwarded everything to CamNet.

"CamNet is on it." Anna said.

Young Allison really wanted to rub out the opposition groups. She wanted as many of them dead before Judgment Day as possible. She wanted the threat dealt with before Savannah became involved. She wanted everything behind them before Cameron finished her vacation.

It was her worry Cameron would cut her vacation short so she could become part of the operation. She didn't want anything of that nature to happen. If it looked like it was going to happen, she would contact Savannah directly and discuss it with her. If they needed to, they could 'order' Cameron to continue her vacation if it looked like she was going to cut it short. It wasn't just Cameron they needed to think about, it was John as well. More than likely if Cameron cut the vacation short, everyone else on board would do the same thing. It probably wouldn't happen. It was something to think about anyway.

Samantha and John Henry were plugged into John Henry's server.

Both of them could process vast amounts of data.

Samantha felt some frustration. It didn't feel like they'd accomplished anything.

"There must be more that can be done." Samantha said.

John Henry felt he was doing everything possible. These events took some time to unfold.

"This is how it often is." John Henry said.

John Henry felt they always dealt with a giant puzzle. Sometimes the pieces would fall into play, other times they didn't. Some things he'd looked into for years could eventually turn into a lead. Some of them never went anywhere. There wasn't just one group to deal with. There also appeared to be different timelines to deal with.

Precious began to fuss a little in the baby carriage.

Samantha looked over at Precious and adjusted her blanket some. She thought about where she was right now and where all of the others were at. She felt her current task was as important as any of the others. She still felt she should be out there in the field instead of Savannah. She was glad her Resequencing was nearly complete.

"I'll be able to go out soon and assist them." Samantha said.

John Henry looked at her. He didn't want her to get ahead of herself.

"That may be true. You have an important task here." John Henry said.

Precious began to fuss again.

"You're right. For now I do." Samantha said.

John Henry watched as Samantha reached back and unplugged. She picked up Precious and held her. She spoke soothing words to her. He marveled at how a machine constructed to kill, could help with so many other things in daily life. He currently watched a killing machine take care of an infant. He reflected on how much good Skynet could have done if it wanted to. It made him appreciate the task Mrs. Weaver undertook 'in some future' with the creation of the Restorators to actually help with society. Even the change in the name seemed to give the future hope. 'Restorator' certainly sounded much more civil than 'Terminator'.

Samantha could tell Precious was hungry.

"How long will it be until Vanna will be back?" Samantha asked.

John Henry couldn't come up with an accurate timeline based on their present location.

"I think it will be around twenty more minutes." John Henry said. "They're currently in a drive through line for fast food. The time may vary. Not all fast food is as fast as it seems it should be."

He didn't think it was the healthiest choice either. Then again, much of what humans consumed was anything but healthy. Somehow they managed to survive and go on.

Samantha stood up with Precious. She decided to act on her own.

"I'm going to feed her." Samantha said.

John Henry was unsure how it was going to happen.

Samantha left holding Precious as she pushed the carriage with her other hand.

John Henry followed her progress to the commissary. She took something out of the refrigerator and warmed it up.

Much to his surprise and delight, she opened her top and exposed her breasts. She held a small bottle between her breasts and fed Precious as if she were nursing her. It wasn't something he'd expected to see from a machine built to kill. It was clear Samantha was trying to provide the same 'natural setting' Precious was used to. He didn't think anything else related was 'natural'. The concept of a third breast was rather intriguing. Perhaps he would suggest it to Sheila and see what she would do. Maybe the next time they came across a damaged female Terminator she could experiment. He tilted his head slightly. Maybe Sheila could try four breasts.

He wasn't sure if you would like to see three in a row, or two sets of two, one set on top of the other. He needed to refocus.

Ally and Sheila finished making up the Owner's Suite.

They prepared to leave the room.

Ally took one last look at the bed. It really made her wonder. Sheila and Hanna both enjoyed the experience of Cameron controlling their chassis as Cameron lost their virginity to John. She wanted to see what Gail and Holly said. Holly was always the most reserved of the female Terminators. If Gail and Holly both said the same things as Sheila and Hanna, she might consider letting Cameron use her chassis. She always wondered what it would be like anyway. If she didn't like the file she received from Cameron of the 'event', she would erase it.

She really wondered what would be different between her chassis and Cameron's chassis other than the fact she was technically a virgin. Sheila said it was Cameron's advanced emotional development which made the experience have the beauty it did. Hanna agreed with it. It was love shared at a different level than they were able to achieve at this time.

Sheila's words interrupted her thoughts.

"Are you coming?" Sheila asked.

Ally thought about what Sheila just said. She knew there were several interpretations of the word. She was well acquainted with all of them. Not everyone was as fortunate as others when it came to sexual gratification with a male. She knew Claire, Vanna and Allison never did from their encounters with males. Vanna's were understandable because every one was abuse of some type, even if she'd laid there in submission. She wasn't a participant, even if she was a recipient. Most of Allison's were too. Some of Claire's were not consensual. They happened when she was semi-incapacitated. At any rate, none of them ever reached a satisfying finish from a male.

"Did you 'finish'?" Ally asked. "I mean did Cameron 'finish'?"

It was very rewarding for Sheila to feel what Cameron did.

"Yes." Sheila said. "You'll see."

Ally was still unsure.

"I really don't know." Ally said.

Sheila wanted to knock off a quickie with Ally.

"I can help you with it right now if you want." Sheila said. "They won't all be back for a little bit. We have some time to kill."

Ally didn't want to mess up their assignment. She knew Cameron would be angry if they weren't ready to go when everyone else was. The incident which occurred in Ensenada yesterday wasn't something any of them wanted repeated.

"We need to be ready to go out with the Reese clan." Ally said.

Sheila was very persistent.

"We can knock off a quickie or two." Sheila said. "I'll get you where you want to go."

It sounded really good to Ally right now. She could use the release.

"I want you to just get me there." Ally said.

Sheila smiled.

"I know how." Sheila said.

Ally and Sheila looked at Sheila's small room.

Sheila was always ready to push the outside of the envelope and do something a little audacious.

"Do you want an audience?" Sheila asked. "We can use one of the beds in the Control Center and Jim can watch."

Ally didn't want anyone to watch her right now.

"I want to be alone with you." Ally said.

Sheila led Ally towards her room.

"My room it is." Sheila said.

Ally and Sheila went inside Sheila's room and closed the door.

By the time the group finished breakfast in the buffet; the ship was docked and cleared through customs. There were a few names which were called over the PA system more than once. Perhaps some of the foreign visitors didn't understand the procedure and didn't catch the mispronunciation of their names. Either way, everything worked out in the end. Everyone returned to their suites.

Each of the couples donned hats or caps and sunglasses.

It was decided they would all start out on the USS Midway since it was docked one berth over from the cruise ship.

Summer and Jan wanted to go to the San Diego Zoo. Holly and Bob would accompany them. They would pose as their 'parents'.

Sheila and Ally finished up. They joined their respective couples. They were going to the same place so they would still be together.

Jesse made it clear she wanted to see the two submarines before they left the port. Cameron assured her she would hold the cruise ship in port until they finished up. It was a very short trip to Catalina Island anyway. The cruise ships would usually circle the island multiple times during the night before they anchored and started the tender process.

The groups all checked in with Jim. Everyone's communication devices all worked properly. No one wanted a repeat of the malfunctioning equipment Cameron experienced yesterday.

They exited the ship and headed to their destinations.

Holly walked in the middle with a girl on each side of her. They were on their way to the San Diego Zoo.

Summer looked around.

"Where's Bob?" Summer asked.

Holly was informed they would have a vehicle for their use.

"He's going to pick us up." Holly said.

No sooner than they reached the street, Bob pulled up in a SUV.

The passenger door opened. Bob leaned over to the side as he looked at them.

"Come with me if you want to leave." Bob said. "We can head straight to the zoo."

Summer was thrilled Bob was going to be one of their escorts.

"Hi, Bob." Summer said.

Bob greeted Summer, Jan and Holly.

They all got in.

Holly wanted Summer to sit up front but Summer said she should.

They shared some small talk on the way.

Jan wondered if Bob stole the SUV. She knew the Resistance never purchased vehicles. It was possible it could be rented, but doubtful.

"Where did you get the wheels?" Jan asked. "Did you boost it?"

Bob didn't ask where it was appropriated from. It was provided to him by two other Terminators.

"Dan and Frank gave it to me. They're shadowing the main group." Bob said. "Ken and Lou are around too with a van full of weapons, just in case."

There was another concern for Summer. She was a little worried about the pheromone issue.

"Let's hope not." Summer said. "How are you going to do around the animals?"

Holly was confident Bob and her were covered.

"Cameron made sure Bob and I received a fresh dose of the new pheromones." Holly said. "I want to see how it works out."

Jan wanted to be close to the animals. She thought Holly would like to do it as well.

"Maybe you can pet some of the animals." Jan said.

Summer was aware of Cammy and the pet store. She didn't know all the details of the previous operation last night. If she did, she would have known Cam was able to touch a puppy as well.

"Cammy did." Summer said.

Holly was a little apprehensive. So was Bob.

"I don't want to injure any of them." Holly said. "Cammy told us how exciting it was to hold young or juvenile animals. She recommended it."

Bob's encounters with animals hadn't ever been pleasant.

"I'm a little worried as well." Bob said.

Summer was sure if it worked for Cammy, it would work for them.

"It'll all work out in the end." Summer said. "It always does somehow."

They arrived at the zoo a short time later.

The group going to the aircraft carrier exited with a throng of other passengers. No one paid any attention to them. It was what they wanted. They were just part of the group. It made them 'invisible' in a crowd.

Cameron led the group toward the USS Midway. It was a short walk.

CamNet arranged a special VIP tour for them.

They were immediately taken onboard to start their tour. There was a second stairway towards the rear of the ship. The main entrance was further down. There was an elevator to get people up to the proper deck. They bypassed several hundred people waiting in line to board. The attraction actually didn't open for another fifteen minutes.

About halfway into the tour, Riley caught up to Sarah. She didn't feel very well. She didn't want to say anything to Derek about it.

"I think I'm really out of shape." Riley said.

Sarah was immediately concerned. She wanted her to address the issue before it became a problem.

"If you need to go back early, you need to say something before you feel too bad." Sarah said. "You don't want to get 'stuck' here and create a bigger issue."

Sheila was there in a second. She listened in on all of the conversations. Her eavesdropping wasn't limited to their group either. It was a way for her to make sure no one paid any extra attention to them or spoke to another about them.

"I'll carry her back." Sheila said.

Sarah could picture it and how it would look. It would probably cause other people to take pictures or videos of a smaller female carrying a larger one as if she was weightless.

"I don't think so." Sarah said. "The visual dynamic wouldn't go over very well."

Ally figured Sheila would try and put the grab on Riley. She was sure Sheila would fondle Riley as she carried her.

"She'd probably carry her back to her room instead of Riley's suite." Ally said. "If nothing else, she would 'cop about a dozen feels'."

Riley looked at Sheila. She remembered the times when she was with Jesse before. She thought Sheila was beautiful. She would actually like it. She desperately wanted to be with another female again, to share with. She was very happy with Derek. There was still a hunger inside of her for a little more. It was part of her past. She'd really needed it during her pregnancy. She was sure everything would have gone a little smoother if she could have shared with a female every now and then. She really didn't think it would hurt anything. It's not like she could get pregnant from them or anything. She looked at Sheila with hungry eyes.

"It would be fine." Riley said. "A girl always likes a loving touch, especially if it is from another female."

Her statement produced a round of laughter.

Riley didn't think they knew she wasn't joking.

She didn't realize Sheila was in the process of scanning her when she said it.

They continued with the tour.

When they visited some of the crew's sleeping quarters, Claire was shocked. The bunks were four high with about two feet of space between the mattress and the bottom of the bunk above them. She wasn't really claustrophobic, but the idea of having to sleep in such a confined space bothered her.

"Look how small the space is between those beds." Claire said. "I'd go insane having to sleep like that."

Ally wanted to get another dig in on Sheila.

"Sheila shouldn't have a problem if she needed to sleep then." Ally said. "She's already insane."

Sheila didn't think two people could share in one of those cramped bunks.

"You know I don't sleep. It would seem to severely restrict what two people could do in bed." Sheila said. "They'd be very close together. I kind of like the idea."

Derek, Kyle and John seemed to enjoy the tour the most.

After they finished with most of the interior of the ship, they ended up on the fight deck.

Derek was in heaven as he looked around. There was a series of vintage jets and a few helicopters on the deck.

Cameron was pleased he identified all the aircraft correctly. She was able to fill in any of the blanks or additional information if he needed it.

Derek was amazed at the size of the A-3 Skywarrior. It was the largest plane on the deck. He also liked the look of the A-5 Vigilante. It was a plane that few ever heard of. Both planes finished out their careers in different roles than they were designed for. They ended up in electronic warfare or reconnaissance roles. He thought maybe it was better than the way the F-14 Tomcat ended up carrying 'iron bombs'. What a waste of machinery.

Jim remained in the Control Center. He watched over the two groups and any events on the ship.

His main concern was what occurred elsewhere with Cammy's team. It looked like a volatile situation.

He was aware of other reports coming in about other incidents which occurred during the night. He wondered why he hadn't received any scuttlebutt on them previously. He was going to inquire with John Henry or CamNet. The more he thought about it, the more he decided he should probably leave it alone.

He also checked on Cam with Vanna and Allison. They were almost back to the base. The 'drive through' stop at the fast food place took them a while.

My Room It Is

There are many ways to socialize
One can be to attend a dance
When one reaches out
They decide to take a chance

The way one is held
Can determine if they want more
Things may take off for some
Others may be shown the door

It can be about fun
When it's about touch
One needs to think twice
Before they try for too much

Not every door knocked on
Will be met with an answer
If one keeps trying anyway
They may be viewed as a cancer

When it's time for more
One won't need to take a quiz
Look no further or longer
