Starling's point of view
Starling sat crouched in a clump of brambles Elephant and Darkness sat beside him. Starling's patrol was sent to attack Skyclan they had been laying in weight for hours waiting for Shadowmaw to show up.
" Great Twoleg place how much longer are they gonna take over in Thunderclan" Elephant meowed.
" Be patient Elephant" Starling meowed " just wait until Shadowmaw gets here"
" I know i know but i just want this over with I'm gonna fall asleep at this rate.
Just then a loud rustling came from the bushes Starling turned his head to see several cats from the Thunderclan patrol rushing through the bushes pelts soaked in blood from battle wounds.
Behind the Thunderclan camp patrol cats the sound of brambles breaking shook the forest floor Starling felt is paws shake and the branches around him quiver.
From a large bramble Sleekwhisker emerged bounding across the forest a rabbit corpse dangling from her jaws behind her Shadowmaw exploded from the tree line bounding after Sleekwhisker faster then anything Starling had ever seen.
" Great Twoleg place" Elephant squealed in excitement " I've never seen anything run that fast before"
" Ya it's pretty incredible that things a natural born killer" Starling's brother Darkness meowed from beside Elephant.
Heading straight towards Skyclan camp Sleekwhisker tossed the rabbit over the Skyclan camp before joining the rest of the Thunderclan camp patrol in a thick line of brambles.
" Alright everyone move out now!" Raven signaled with her tail before running towards the Skyclan camp Roach and Juno following behind her.
" Ready Starling" Darkness meowed springing up from his paws towards the Skyclan camp.
Starling nodded " Ready "
Wrenpaw's point of view
" What in the Starclan" Wrenpaw heard Blossomheart meow from outside of the apprentices den.
" Hay Cloudmist come check this out"
" CRASH!"
Before Blossomheart could finish her sentence a loud crash came through the camp wall.
" What in Starclan's name" Needlepaw meowed groggily still half asleep.
" I'm gonna go see what that was" Rootpaw meowed standing up and padding out of the apprentice den.
" Something's wrong" Wrenpaw meowed outside was a loud commotion and the of cats yowling.
" Great Mousedung!" Rootpaw meowed in surprise from outside the den as he quickly ran back inside the den purple eyes flushed with concern.
" Well you two aren't gonna believe this" Rootpaw laughed nervously
" Well you now that wolf that attack Riverclan a few days ago"
" Let me guess it's out there isn't it?" Needlepaw rolled her eyes.
" Yep" Rootpaw resounded.
Suddenly the wolf crashed straight into the apprentices den trying to shake multiple cats off of his back.
" Great Starclan!" Wrenpaw yelled in surprise scrambling to her paws to avoid the wolfs massive swinging jaws.
Bursting out of the apprentice den Wrenpaw bolted across the clearing Rootpaw and Needlepaw following behind her.
Stopping in the clearing to catch there breath Wrenpaw looked around the clearing it was now that Wrenpaw realized that everyone in Skyclan was in battle with cats.
" Sweet Starclan its the kin!" Rootpaw panted.
" Great the wolf and the kin that's just great" Needlepaw meowed in frustration.
A flash of fur blew past Wrenpaw's face Rootpaw was now on his back battling against a long furred gray she cat.
A burst of pain exploded across Wrenpaw's head as Wrenpaw went tumbling to the ground.
Looking up a very dark gray she cat was standing above Wrenpaw slashing furiously at her exposed stomach the pain was searing but Wrenpaw managed to land a clean swipe across the she cat's face striking her in the eye.
Suddenly the she cat got was violently yanked off of Wrenpaw by Needlepaw and the two she cats went tumbling into the snow.
Getting back on her paws Wrenpaw darted over to aid Needlepaw leaping high into the air Wrenpaw flew down in a straight arch landing straight on the she cats back the she cat collapsed on the ground she quickly recovered landing a front paw slash along Wrenpaw's nose.
However the she cat didn't notice Needlepaw climbing up the side of the camp wall the black and white she cat sprang off the camp wall slamming into the gray tabby she cats side sending the she cat collapsing on her side.
Wrenpaw quickly leaped onto the she cats face pinning her to the ground.
" You got this one Wrenpaw?" Needlepaw meowed.
" Ya i got this" Wrenpaw meowed.
" Good" Needlepaw meowed as she bounded of to help her clanmates.
The dark gray she cat clambered out from underneath Wrenpaw's claw and fled of into the night.
Wrenpaw looked around she saw her mother aiding Pigeonfoot and Fringewhisker to defend the nursery she decided to head over there.
Starling's point of view
" Alright here we go lets to this" Starling thought out loud as he leaped over the Skyclan camp wall and into the camp clearing. Looking around Starling saw Darkness battling with a sturdy gray tom in front of him to his left Elephant was grappling on her hind legs with a bright yellow tom.
Starling noticed a black and white she cat charging at him blood dripping from a wound on her ear. Starling charged at her claws out for battle.
The she cat leaped forward higher then Starling had ever seen a cat jump before jumping clear over Starling the spotted ginger tom tried to turn around to face her but before he could the she cat bit into Starling's shoulder pain pulsed through Starling's shoulder he retaliated with a slash across the she cat's face his opponent winced in pain.
Starling took the opportunity to squirm himself free Starling jumped at the she cat knocking her over Starling raked his claws along her exposed stomach.
The black and white she cat suddenly went limp Starling knew she was playing dead and sunk his claws further into her stomach but Starling didn't see her front paw flying at his face until it was to late.
The blow hit Starling directly in his left eye Starling recoiled in pain blood spattered across his face blood covering his eye Starling stumbled backwards trying to shake the blood from his eye.
The she cat tackled Starling to the ground well he was distracted Starling went flying into the snow Starling struggled to his feet trying rolling dodge the she cat Starling swiped across the she cats flank blood spattered across the snow.
Starling lunged at the she cats sinking his death into her back leg the she cat yowled in pain Starling quickly leapt at the she cats back the she cat rolled to dodge batting Starling in the face.
Suddenly the black and white she cat broke away from Starling and darted off else ware.
Starling was confused until the sound of thundering paw steps came from behind him.
Turning around Starling saw Shadowmaw standing behind him the gray pelt soaked in blood from battle wounds the wolf was jumping around violently trying to throw several Skyclan cats off his back.
Starling darted across the camp trying to avoid Shadowmaw's wild frenzy Shadowmaw continued thrashing about wildly Starling watched as Shadowmaw swung a tortoiseshell and white she cat off of his pelt the she cat went flying through the air and landed in front of Starling.
Starling skidded to a halt to avoid getting crushed by the she cat Starling heard a the paw steps of Shadowmaw getting louder and louder Starling tried to move out of the way in time but he was to late.
With a tremendous force Shadowmaw slammed into Starling with his head Starling was tossed across the camp slamming into a large bush.
An intense pain rang through Starling's head a overwhelming ringing permeated Starling's ears
" Kin retreat! retreat!" was the last thing Starling heard as his mind went dark.
Wrenpaw's point of view
" Skyclan! Skyclan! is every cat all right!" Leafstar meowed frantically darting around to check on her injured clanmates.
" Great Starclan Wrenpaw are you okay" Bellaleaf padded up to Wrenpaw giving her daughter several licks along her shoulder wound.
" Oh I'm doing fine" Wrenpaw meowed " How's dad doing?"
" You're fathers doing fine he's in the medicine den getting a foot injury treated" Bellaleaf resounded.
" Foot injury is it bad?" Wrenpaw questioned.
" Oh no Fidgetflake said that it's not that bad he just twisted it well fighting and is gonna have to take it easy for a while"
Most of Skyclan had managed to get out of the fight with relatively minor injury's Nectarsong and Sagenose had gotten bad bit injury's from the wolf well Cherrytail and Turtlecrawl had severely bruised themselves from being thrown by the wolf.
" Hay Wrenpaw" Rootpaw padded up beside Wrenpaw.
" How are you doing?" Rootpaw meowed.
" Oh I'm doing fine just a bit sore" Wrenpaw replied.
" Did you here about the kin cat we captured" Rootpaw meowed.
" Kin cat we captured a Kin cat" Wrenpaw meowed in surprise.
" Ya Hawkwing and Sandynose found a kin cat passed out in the warriors den his in the medicine den right now" Rootpaw meowed pointing to the medicine den.
Wrenpaw looked over to the medicine den she wondered what kin cats were like " want to go check it out?" Rootpaw asked " sure" Wrenpaw resounded bounding towards the medicine den.
At the medicine den multiple cats were getting treated Wrenpaw spotted her father getting cobwebs put on his paw injury by Fidgetflake.
" Oh hi Wrenpaw" Rabbitleap turned his amber gaze towards Wrenpaw.
" Hi dad" Wrenpaw replied.
" Bet you guys are probably here to see that kin cat aren't you" Kitescratch meowed from beside him.
" Turtlecrawl said he's a spotted ginger tom idiot knocked himself out in the battle" Kitescratch laughed.
" Hay Cherrytail look" Turtlecrawl meowed from inside the medicine den.
" The kin cats awake"
Starling's point of view
"Hay Cherrytail look The kin cats awake" an unfamiliar voice meowed
The haze in Starling's eyes began to lift to reveal the unfamiliar surroundings he was tuck into a nest in the back of a large bush the pungent thick sent of herbs penetrated Starling's nose all looking at his shoulder injury Starling saw a thick patch of cobweb was covering it all around him were other cats in nests moonlight peaked through the bushes' entrance.
Suddenly Starling was swarmed by cats all bombarding him with questions.
" Were do you Kin cats come from?"
" Tell us about Sleekwhisker?"
" Who are you?"
" Why did you guys attack Skyclan?"
" Are you working with the wolf?"
The questioning came to a halt as everyone fell silent a brown and cream tabby she cat walked through the den the cats parted to make way for her a dark gray tabby tom walked along side her.
" You there what's your name?" the she cat addressed Starling in a steady tone.
" Starling my name is Starling" the memory's from the Skyclan invasion came back into Starling's mind the memory of him battling with the black and white she cat the memory of him getting flung into the bush by Shadowmaw he realized he must still be in Skyclan.
" I'm still in Skyclan aren't i?"
" Correct we found you passed out in the warriors den and we brought you here to the medicine den" the she cat explained.
" Now since you a kin cat can you tell what you guys were doing invading are camp" the gray tabby tom growled.
" Look i didn't plan this out that's all Sleekwhisker" Starling meowed timidly.
" Sleekwhisker do you know Sleekwhisker!" The she cat meowed.
" Well not personally I'm lowest of the low in the Kin rankings I've had nothing more then a few word conversation with her I'm just a foot solider " Starling meowed.
" Hmm alright then" the she cat pondered.
" Well Starling from now on you will be kept here in Skyclan camp alright" the brown and cream she cat meowed.
" Alright" Starling meowed nervously.
" Alright everyone go to bed you've all had a long night and you deserve some rest" one by one the cat filled out of the medicine den aside from a few that were getting injury's treated.
" Frecklewish Fidgetflake keep watch on Starling" the cream and brown she cat meowed as she strolled out of the den the gray tabby tom quickly following her.
Starling sat there in tis strange den in this strange place full of strange cats thinking of all that had happened in this one eventful night.
