Finchsong's point of view
" Bayblossom! Bayblossom!" Finchsong and Myrtleflower cried out but Bayblossom kept running.
" All three of you get back here this instant or I swear on Starclan that " Dewnose roared Finchsong didn't bother listening to the rest of the tom's spiel.
The four cats rushed further into the forest for what felt like hours Finchsong's lung's heaved with every time she took a breath her eyes burned from the glare of the snow in the early morning light.
Bayblossom suddenly slammed to a stop and turned on his heels right in front of him was a Thunderpath.
It was only then that Finchsong realized in here hazy state of mind she didn't notice that they hade gone into a part of the forest no one had ever been to before.
The were past the Moon Pool and into the shadowy line of tree's that lay beyond it no one had ever gone into it as the vegetation was extremally thick making it extremally difficult to traverse and there was no real reason for anyone to go there anyway.
" Bayblossom please just stop and listen to us for a second" Myrtleflower wheezed.
" Why did you follow me all the way out here just let me go" Bayblossom snapped back.
" Because we care about you Bayblossom is that so hard to understand?"
" Please I just want to be left alone please Myrtleflower Finchsong just go home please!"
" Where are you going to go we're in the middle of nowhere"
" I DON"T KNOW!"
Finchsong sat silent stunned by what Bayblossom just said the she cat slowly backed up.
Suddenly a loud noise rang out in the forest a large tangle of wiring slammed down right in front of Finchsong's face causing her to jump back slamming her head back into another tangle of wires.
Finchsong was trapped in a Twoleg cage.
" Oh my Starclan! Oh my Starclan I'm trapped! what do I do what do I do"
Panicked began rising in Finchsong's belly the tortoiseshell she cat clawed frantically at the wiring but to know avail.
Suddenly the ground started getting smaller and smaller as a large black shadow loomed over Finchsong.
Looking up in horror Finchsong saw that it was a Twoleg caring her into the back of a monster.
" Help Help" Finchsong screamed to no one in particular.
" Oh my Starclan Finchsong!" Myrtleflower and Bayblossom cried in horror trying to reach Bayblossom before being stopped by more Twoleg's.
It was just then that Dewnose arrived on the scene the gray and white tom stood frozen in horror at the sight of the Twoleg monster.
" Oh my Starclan Myrtleflower run!" Bayblossom screamed to his sister.
That was the last thing Finchsong saw before she was shoved into the darkness of the monster's belly.
Starling's point of view
" Children Of The Kin gather around for a clan meeting" Sleekwhisker announced from the top of the monster corpse.
Every cat in the Kin dropped whatever they were doing and rushed around the monster corpse.
" Cat's of the Kin today is that day that we attack the clans again!" Sleekwhisker meowed confidently.
" As you all know we've already invaded the clans several times before"
" However this time will be different today is the day that the mighty Thunderclan will bow before us with shaking knee's" Sleekwhisker's voice boomed throughout the clearing.
" Now we will also be attacking Riverclan and Shadowclan as well Raven will lead the patrol to Shadowclan well Roach leads the patrol to Riverclan I will leading the patrol to Thunderclan"
" Now I will list out who go's on what patrols" Sleekwhisker announced.
Starling, Elephant, Darkness, Mint, and Dragon listened for we they would be assigned.
Darkness and Elephant were sent to Shadowclan Mint and Dragon were sent to Thunderclan and Starling was sent to Riverclan.
" Riverclan patrol over here" Roach announced signaling to the edge of the camp.
" Well good luck to you guys " Elephant meowed excitedly.
" Good luck over in Riverclan Starling" Mint meowed.
" Same good luck little bro" Darkness added.
" Thanks you guys don't worry me and Dragon will be just fine"
" We'll be fine as long as you don't go missing for days on end again your two for two on it so far" Dragon resounded with a smirk on his face.
All 5 cats laughed in response.
There laughing was cut of by a loud snarl coming from the back of camp.
Everyone in camp turned there head to look at the old Twoleg place in the back of camp.
" Juno Flick let Shadowmaw out of the cage" Sleekwhisker meowed.
" As you wish Sleekwhisker" Flick resounded as him and Juno removed the large pile of sticks and rocks holding the cage closed.
" Look's like the wolf's come out to play" Sleekwhisker meowed confidently green eyes narrowed and a smirk plastered on her face.
Shadowmaw burst out the cage his thundering paw steps echoed through the camp.
" Shadowmaw follow" Sleekwhisker barked.
To Starling's shock the wolf padded right over to Sleekwhisker and stopped in front of here.
" Shadowmaw follow" Sleekwhisker ordered.
" Let this be the day Thunderclan know that they and there silly little magical Starclan nonsense are never going to see another sunrise and one by one every on of those mange pelted clans will fall one by one" Sleekwhisker meowed.
" Everyone move out" Sleekwhisker signaled with her tail followed by the rest of The Kin.
As Starling walked through the allies of Twoleg place the spotted ginger tom couldn't help but think about Skyclan.
Skyclan he had been so happy to be back with his friends and siblings that he forgot about the promise he had made to Leafstar to relay information to Skyclan and the consequences Dewspring had warned him about.
The last thing that he wanted to learn was what those consequences that Dewspring warned him about.
He had to think of a way to sneak away from the rest of the patrol.
The patrol soon reached the edge of the Twoleg place and crossed into the woods headed for the clans territory's.
Shadowmaw walked with them to the wolf walked padded alone near the back of the patrol with his head hung low dark yellow eyes focused on the forest in front of them.
Shadowmaw's presences only made things worse as Starling didn't relish having the wolf who from what he heard could tier cats to pieces with very little effort right behind him.
" Hey Starling ready for the fight" Dragon's question interrupted Starling from his thoughts.
" Ya ready as ill ever be" Starling resounded.
" Starling you sound worried" Dragon gave Starling a look of concerned.
" Well ya I am why wouldn't I be the clan cats are strong"
" Oh come on Starling don't undervalue yourself an army of half blind hedgehogs would be more intimating to face then the fish cats"
" He really believes that doesn't he" Starling though to himself.
But then again why wouldn't he Starling used to believe that every since he was a kit his parent's would tell him and his siblings about what the clans were like.
" The clan cats were weak they pranced around talking about there silly little Starclan they were no match for us" Raven would tell them.
" Then were are the clans now" Nettle asked once.
" Darktail being the ever kind cat that he was offered them to join them and they agreed and all was well, But then the mange pelts betrayed us and pushed Darktail into the lake well he was giving a speech to everyone about the bright future that lied ahead of them" Roach entered the nursery after overhearing his daughters question.
" We had to run away but now were spreading Darktail's teaching's throughout Twolegplace and The Kin will rise again and with your guy's help we will finally take down those mangy clan cats and spread the word of the kin to the forests"
Starling heard story's like that all throughout his childhood and believed it but after fighting the clans and being stuck in Skyclan for a week he was doubting the validity of his parent's claims.
" That's true but I just don't want to be captured again"
" Well that was just bad luck involving Shadowmaw you'll be fine Shadowmaw won't even be in Riverclan"
" Good point"
Ending the conversation Dragon padded up ahead to talk with London and Prodigy about battle plans.
Looking ahead Starling could see the Small Thunderpath Starling knew he had to break of from the group to warn Skyclan.
" Halt" Sleekwhisker ordered.
Everybody stopped along the small Thunderpath.
" Riverclan Shadowclan patrol gather here" Roach ordered.
Starling joined in with the rest of the Riverclan attack patrol.
" Good luck in Riverclan" Elephant meowed.
" Good luck bro" Darkness and Mint meowed simultaneously.
" Don't get captured" Dragon added with a laugh.
" Riverclan and Shadowclan patrols move out" Raven ordered.
Once Starling was sure the rest of The Kin were gone Starling began to slowly fall back from the rest of the Riverclan and Shadowclan patrol darting of towards the large Thunderpath.
Starling picked up into a hard sprint as he crossed the Thunderpath and bounded across the snowy moor that he believed was the territory of Windclan.
Starling knew that he had to be quick this was the route Sleekwhisker would be taking to get to Thunderclan and he would have to beat them and the Riverclan patrol.
Starling kept running feeling his lungs burning as he saw the forest come into view.
Wrenpaw's point of view
" Alright I'm gonna jump on the count of three" Rootspring announced boldly from the top of the birch tree.
It was still early morning and patrols hadn't been sent out yet and as the warriors were sitting around waiting for Hawkwing to give out patrols Kitescratch had challenged Gravelnose to climb up a tall birch tree how's branches bent into the camp and jump of into the snow.
The tan tom rejected his other but Rootspring had over heard him and took him up on the offer.
Turtlecrawl and Palesky piled a large pile of snow for Rootspring to jump into.
With nothing better to do Wrenpaw had decided to come and watch her friends rather hair brained stunt along with Turtlecrawl, Kitescratch, Palesky, Nectarsong and Gravelnose.
" What do you think the odds are that he's gonna mess this up" Palesky asked Nectarsong and Wrenpaw.
" I'm gonna say like one in six" Wrenpaw replied
" Oh come on that's way to high I would say it's like half and half" Nectarsong replied with a laugh.
" Alright one two three go "
Rootspring leapt of the tree branch diving head long towards the snow.
" Oh Mouse dung what was I" Rootspring screeched before he crashed into the snow with a tremendous thunk.
" Arrg thinking" Rootspring ground pulling himself out of the snow.
" Told you he would mess it up" Nectarsong playfully nudged her sister and Wrenpaw.
" You probably weren't thinking at all" Needleclaw sighed from the top of camp entrance of camp with Violetshine.
" Oh what it's like to be young" Violetshine meowed in a slightly amused tone.
" Leafstar! Leafstar!" someone called out from the camp entrance.
Starling rushed into the camp pushing past Violetshine and Needleclaw.
" Starling!" the whole clan almost said in unison.
The whole clan rushed to Starling.
" Starling your back" Mintfur exclaims in shook.
" The Kin are attacking Shadowclan Thunderclan and Riverclan" Starling huffed out.
" What!" Leafstar asked in shock.
" There attacking Riverclan, Shadowclan and Thunderclan the wolf is with the patrol headed for Thunderclan Sleekwhisker's goal is to bring down Thunderclan to send a message to the other clan's"
" How long do we have?" Leafstar questioned.
" I ran here as fast as I could but I don't think that we have much time" Starling replied.
" Alright everyone gather around Tallstump quickly" Leafstar ordered.
" Great Starclan what a thing to wake up to in morning" Kitescratch said blankly still taken aback by the news.
" Why would the kin attack in the morning seems like an odd time to do something like that" Gravelnose questioned.
" Probably trying to throw us off most cats wouldn't expect a full scale attack in the morning" Needleclaw replied.
" Quite Leafstar's speaking" Dewspring hissed.
" Cat's of Skyclan I'm sure you all know what's happening" Leafstar stated.
" As clan cat's it is are duty to defend are fellow clan cats from The Kin"
" I will be leading a patrol to aid Thunderclan Macgyver, Sagenose, Plumwillow, Sandynose, Blossomheart, Reedclaw, Dewspring, Palesky, Quailfeather Kitescratch, and Needleclaw will be coming with me"
" Hawkwing will be leading the patrol to aid Shadowclan Cherrytail, Tinycloud, Mintfur, Rabbitleap Nettlesplash, Harrybrooke, Cloudmist, Bellaleaf, Nectarsong, Gravelnose, Sunnypelt, Turtlecrawl, Rootspring and Wrenpaw will be going there"
" Frecklewish Fidgetflake get herbs ready were going to need them once you've got the herbs ready Frecklewish I want you to go Thunderclan and Fidgetflake I want you to go to Shadowclan"
" Yes Leafstar" both medicine cats rushed into the medicine den.
" Everyone get going now" Leafstar announced before leaping off of Tallstump.
Wrenpaw followed the rest of the Skyclan warriors beside her parent's.
" You scared Wrenpaw?" her father asked as her.
" Ya I'm pretty scared"
" Don't be your going to be fine sweety we'd never let anything bad happen to you" Bellaleaf reassured her daughter.
Even if Wrenpaw knew that there was now way to guarantee that her mother's reassuring words made her feel better.
Flamestorm's point of view
" Why aren't they back yet? why aren't they back yet?" Flamestorm passed back and forth in the center of camp.
" Flamestorm it's okay everything's ok just breath" Sparkpelt tried to reassure her son even if she was worried to.
Finchsong had been gone for a least half an hour it's was starting to worry Flamestorm.
" They haven't come back yet hu" Alderheart asked.
" Hu nope dad sent a patrol out to look for them haven't fond anything" Sparkpelt replied nervously.
" Don't worry they should be back soon there's only so far they could have gotten with how thick the snow is"
" Twoleg's!" Myrtleflower burst into the camp with Dewnose trailing behind her.
" Twoleg's took them Twoleg's took " Myrtleflower collapsed to the ground before she could finish.
" Dewnose what is she saying were are Finchsong and Bayblossom" Sparkpelt ran over to Dewnose.
" Twoleg's captured them"
" What!" Flamestrom screamed collapsing to the ground.
" Dewnose why in the dark forest did you not do anything!" Sparkpelt grabbed Dewnose by the shoulders practically shaking him.
" Sparkpelt I I" Dewnose shakily spat out.
" That's my daughter you mouse brain her and Flamestrom are all that I have left of Larksong and you just let her and your own son get captured by Twoleg's! Honestly I don't know why Sorrelstripe would ever choose a mate like you! " Sparkpelt screamed as she shoved Dewnose to the ground.
Flamestorm was completely taken aback by his mother's tone he really saw his mother angry let alone that angry.
" I'm sorry just get off of me please" Dewnose whimpered.
" Get off of you I'm gonna kill you!" Sparkpelt hissed rearing up her claw's to swipe at Dewnose.
Flamestorm knew he had to stop this before Sparkpelt actually hurt Dewnose.
" Mom mom calm down" Flamestrom grabbed Flamestrom by the hind leg.
Squirrelflight, Bramblestar and Alderheart quickly joined in to help restrain her.
" Sparkpelt please will figure this out" Bramblestar tried to help reassure his daughter.
" It's your fault it's all your fault I hate you I hate you" Sparkpelt flailed her paws wildly in the air as she was dragged away from Dewnose.
Once she was safely away from Dewnose Sparkpelt was finally let go off the bright ginger she cat fell to the ground and started sobbing uncontrollably well Dewnose was shakily helped up by Brightheart Cloudtail and Whitewing.
" Oh my Starclan I've failed as a mother" Sparkpelt wailed.
" No no no Sparkpelt please don't say that" Squirrelflight whispered.
It's was only then that Flamestorm finally let the information sink in.
" Holy Starclan Finchsong is gone gone" in an instant Flamestorm's intertie world went still.
His sister his closet friend since kithood was gone and he would never see here again.
" She's gone she's really gone"
Flamestorm broke down on the ground he felt completely numb so numb he didn't notice the Skyclan cats pouring into camp.
" Leafstar what are you doing here?" Bramblestar question going over to greet the elderly Skyclan leader.
" You have to get out of here The Kin are coming"
" What!" all of Thunderclan shrieked in unison.
" How do we know your not lying" Eaglewing meowed.
" Ya it seems offlay weird for you to say that and stroll right into are camp when you know that were weak" Thornclaw added.
" We don't have time to explain just"
" Greetings Thunderclan" an unfamiliar voice rang out from the forest near the island.
To Flamestorm's horror a hoard of kin cats came pouring out of the woods.
Flamestorm sat frozen unable to move at the sight.
A loud crash rang through the woods as The Wolf burst through the tree line riding on top of it was Sleekwhisker.
