Starling's point of view
Starling walked silently with Thunderclan and Skyclan through the forest.
Starling was surprised by how big the pine trees were in Shadowclan territory as far as he could see Shadowclan territory was covered with dense Pines there dark green bows dangling heavy with snow it was all very different to Twoleg place were most of the plant life was small deciduous trees various grasses and flowers and low lying shrubs.
Starling had thanked for spying on The Kin by every Thunderclan cat it felt quite weird to be the center of attention in The Kin were he had never been the center of attention that was reserved for important cats like Sleekwhisker and his parents.
Things felt a bit more natural around Skyclan Dewspring still gave him the side eye and he still heard Fallowfern and Sparrowpelt gossiping about him in the elders den with Fringewhisker and Pigeonfoot but he felt like his presence was tolerated that Skyclan was no longer disliked having him in there camp.
"There's Shadowclan camp" Kitescratch pointed to the mass of brambles surrounded by pine trees that marked the Shadowclan camp.
"Aw there you come in come in" Cloverfoot welcomed the Thunderclan and Skyclan cats through the camp entrance. Starling was taken aback by how many cats there were in Shadowclan camp he knew the clans were big but seeing almost every clan cat in one place really showed how large they were.
Starling sat quietly not really sure what to do the Skyclan patrol had fanned out to join the rest of Skyclan already in Shadowclan leaving Starling all by himself.
Starling could feel the eyes of clan cats staring at him and whispering about him.
"Is that The Kin spy?"
"Did they really bring the Kin cat here to Shadowclan!"
"Did you here that he was the one who spied on The Kin"
" If it weren't for him who knows what would have happened to Thunderclan and Shadowclan"
Starling decided to go and walk other to the bass of the pine tree in the center of the camp were the clan leaders were sitting on a large low hanging pine branch below them the clan deputy's and medicine cats were talking amongst themselves.
Starling sat there under the pine tree waiting for the gathering to start.
Wrenpaw's point of view
"Look the rest of Skyclan's here" Nectarsong pointed to the Shadowclan camp entrance were Wrenpaw could see Leafstar and the rest of Skyclan entering the camp the brown she cat bounded over to greet Palesky and Fringewhisker.
"Well looks like they brough all of Thunderclan with them" Gravelnose added pointing at Jayfeather as he went to sit with the other medicine cats.
"Somethings wrong" Wrenpaw though to herself she noticed all of Thunderclan seemed to have air of despair like something terrible had just happened." I'm gonna have to find Finchsong and Flamestorm" Wrenpaw searched among the crowed of cats in Shadowclan camp looking for Flamestrom and Finchsong.
Wrenpaw finally caught site of the Flamestorm's fluffy black pelt next Shellfur and Eaglewing.
"Flamestorm! Flamestorm!" Wrenpaw called out Flamestorm turned his head to meet Wrenpaw flashing her a smile
"Hey Wrenpaw how are you doing"
"I'm doing grate Flamestorm we got to help Shadowclan fight the Kin it went great we kicked The Kin out of Shadowclan camp in about half an hour"
"That sounds great to bad that Thunderclan couldn't do the same" Flamestorm's eyes dropped.
"Oh no what happened?"
"Umm hu well um The Kin and Shadowmaw kind of showed up and captured half the clan including Bramblestar"
"Oh my Starclan that's horrible! is Finchsong okay!?"
"Well about that"
Wrenpaw's heart dropped like a stone she knew what Flamestorm was about to say.
"No she got captured"
"Actually her and Bayblossom was captured by Twoleg's before the Kin even showed up"
Wrenpaw sighed a breath of relief well Finchsong being captured by Twoleg's was defiantly concerning the fact that she wasn't stuck in The kin camp was definitely relieving.
"Oh thank Starclan at least she's not in The Kin camp"
"Ya and thank Starclan my mom made it out to"
"Look it's Windclan" Cherrytail pointed to the camp entrance were Harestar, Crowfeather, and Kestrelflight stepped up to the pine tree.
Looking around the newly arriving Windclan camp Wrenpaw was able to spot the pale yellow tabby pelt of Applepaw beside Woodpaw and Songpaw.
"Applepaw! Applepaw! over here" Applepaw looked up to Wrenpaw. "Woodbeam Songpaw all talk to you later" Applepaw said as she walked over to Wrenpaw and Flamestorm.
"Applepaw there you are"
"Actually it's not Applepaw anymore I'm Appleclaw now.
"Oh my Starclan that's awesome!" Wrenpaw squealed.
"That's awesome Appleclaw" Flamestorm meowed "What's Woodpaw's name"
"Woodpaw got the name Woodbeam"
"That's awesome Appleclaw I'm glad that you got your warrior name"
"Ya Appleclaw and that name really suits you"
"Oh thanks Wrenpaw I agree the name Appleclaw really suits me"
"So where's Finchsong"
"Oh well um she was captured by Twoleg's before The Kin showed up"
"Wait what!" Applepaw said in surprise.
"And what do you mean before The Kin showed up did they attacked Thunderclan camp they attacked Riverclan and Shadowclan earlier"
"Ya they showed up with Shadowmaw they captured half of Thunderclan including Bramblestar"
"They captured Bramblestar then who's in charged now?" Appleclaw asked.
"Squirrelflight's Thunderclan's temporary leader and Ivypool's the temporary deputy" Flamestorm responded.
"Well what are we gonna do without Finchsong she was part of the prophecy she's probably a big deal" Appleclaw asked concerned.
"Don't worry once were done with the gathering I'm gonna ask Myrtleflower to help me get them back" Flamestorm said confidently.
"Ya Flame that's a great idea" Wrenpaw chimed.
"Ya go get her Flamestorm me Wrenpaw and the other Windclan apprentices can hold down the fort here" Appleclaw added.
"Ya and if we really need help I'm sure that we could ask the Riverclan apprentices for help"
"Cats of the Clans let the gathering commence" Tigerstar announced.
"Squirrelflight would you like to go first"
"Yes Tigerstar"
"As I'm sure you all know the situation that the 5 clans are all in The Kin have taken over Thunderclan's territory and the gathering island" A chorus of shocked meow's echoed throughout Shadowclan camp.
"I think that we all know and agree that the only way that we can assure are safety against The Kin's ever growing threat of The Kin is to fight them together 5 as 1"
Squirrelflight's green eyes lowered in thought "When I was a kit Firestar and Sandstorm told me the story about the battle with Bloodclan back in the old forest when Bloodclan threatened to take over the forest Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan, and Shadowclan all joined together to form Lionclan and working together we were able to defeat Bloodclan"
"So are you saying that we should unite the clan's together?" Harestar questioned.
"I'm not saying that the clans need to unite clan culture and folklore show the clans are meant to be 5 separate clans but I'm saying that the clans have worked together before during the battle with Bloodclan, The Great Journey and The Great Battle and this is a situation that I think that we need to work together if we are to beat The Kin" Murmurs began to ripple throughout the clan's.
"I agree with Squirrelflight Riverclan has already suffered enough loss's and unnecessary bloodshed because of The Kin me Icewing and are medicine cats are in agreement with you Squirrelflight" Brackenstar meowed from beside Squirrelflight.
"Me and Brackenstar are in full agreement we need to work together if we are to stop The Kin" Icewing meowed from underneath the pine tree.
"Shadowclan agrees to if it weren't for the other clans help Shadowclan would have fallen to The Kin and been destroyed. My father Rowanstar's inability to take control of Shadowclan and stop The Kin is what got us into this mess in the first place and we in Shadowclan will do anything to help defeat Sleekwhisker"
"We here in Skyclan like Shadowclan have faced the wrath of The Kin and we agree to help anyway we can to stop The Kin"
"Windclan also agrees Onestar fathered Darktail and brough his vengeance to the clans we will also do anything that we can to help stop The Kin"
"Then it's settled all 5 clans will worked together if we are to stop Sleekwhisker's rain of terror and finish of The Kin for good" Squirrelflight declared.
"Well first thing is first we need to get The Kin out of the island and Thunderclan's territory" Tigerstar announced.
"I agree with The Kin on Thunderclan's territory it puts Windclan and Skyclan's territory at risk" Harestar added.
"We should first get the gathering Island back if we have the island we will be able to communicate with one another over the frozen lake and have a stagging point to launch an attack on The Thunderclan camp" Squirrelflight meowed.
"Well we can't really sneak into the island though it's out in the open" Brackenstar responded.
"What if we attack from Skyclan and Windclan borders then push them back to Thunderclan camp" Leafstar suggested.
"Ya that sounds like a better idea if we push them back to the Thunderclan camp and then we can take back the island" Tigerstar pondered.
"So do we think that this is the plan of attack were going with?" Harestar asked.
"Yes I think that is the best plan of attack" Tigerstar said " Dose everybody else agree that this is are plan of attack"
A loud meow of agreement came from the cats below the pine tree.
"But what about Shadowmaw there not gonna fight all the clans without Shadowmaw" Cloverfoot asked from below the pine tree.
"Shadowmaw is strong yes but there's no way that one wolf would be able to holdoff all 5 clans at once"
"Then it's settled we attack The Kin from the Windclan and Skyclan borders tomorrow at sun-high" Harestar announced.
"Also Skyclan has something that they would like to announce" Leafstar announced.
"I'm sure many of you have heard from rumors spreading around about a Kin cat working for us as a spy" Wrenpaw could see Hawkwing sharing an uneasy glance's with Frecklewish and Fidgetflake.
"Well I will clarify that these rumors are true and I would like everyone to meet Starling"
Starling's point of view
"I would like everyone to meet Starling" Starling's heart sank like a stone the last thing he wanted was to be introduced in front of literally every cat in the clans.
Still Staling walked out into the center of Shadowclan camp underneath the pine branch.
"Everyone this is Starling he is a former Kin warrior who after being captured has decided to help us our battle against The Kin"
The eyes of the clan cats turned to Starling a loud chatter spread through the clans. "So that's The Kin spy I've heard about" "I remember hearing about him from a Thunderclan patrol" "I heard about him from a Shadowclan patrol" "What's he doing here!" "We can't trust a Kin cat!"
"Silence!" Squirrelflight meowed
"I know many of you think that we can't trust Starling but if it weren't for him then Skyclan wouldn't have learned about the Kin's attack on Thunderclan and Shadowclan who now's what would have happened to us if Skyclan wasn't there to help us escape The Kin"
The Thunderclan and Shadowclan cats let out yowls of approval from around him.
"I agree" said Tigerstar "I give Starling a warm welcome to the Clans"
"Starling! Starling! Starling!" the clan cats called out from below the pine tree.
Starling was taken aback by the praise he received he never though that the clans would never be this nice to a Kin cat let alone chant his name out like that.
"Well then the gathering's over we will attack The kin from the Windclan and Skyclan border" Leafstar announced as she jumped of the pine branch.
Starling followed after Leafstar and Hawkwing with the rest of the Skyclan warriors out of the Shadowclan camp and into the pine forest Starling could overhear the rest of Skyclan talking about the planned attack on Thunderclan camp tomorrow.
"Excuse me Starling could I talk to you for a second" Leafstar called over to Starling.
"Starling you heard about the attack on Thunderclan tomorrow Skyclan is going to play a big part in it since we share a border with Thunderclan. So I was wanting you to go into The Kin camp and find out there intentions"
"But Sleekwhisker will know somethings up with how long I've been gone she won't just let me back in"
"Well do you know the way around Twolegplace that you could listen to there conversation's"
"Ya I could do that"
"Then that will be enough tomorrow morning I want you to go into Twoleg place and find out the Kin's intention's"
Suddenly an idea popped into Starling's mind there probably wasn't a better time to ask Leafstar about joining Skyclan.
"Er...Leafstar there was something that I've been meaning to ask you about"
"Yes Starling what is it?"
"Er... I was wondering if maybe I would be able to join Skyclan like properly as a warrior"
"Oh well.. of course Starling if that's what you want then I will gladly let you become a warrior of Skyclan"
Starling let out a sigh of relief that went about as well as it could have.
Flamestorm's point of view
Flamestorm quietly sat in the corner of the Shadowclan camp. Tigerstar had let Thunderclan stay in the Shadowclan camp until the clans had taken back the Thunderclan camp.
Everyone else in camp had already gone to bed the Shadowclan camp seemed extremally creepy at night the giant pine trees hung ominously in the thick snow there giant branches obscuring the stars.
"Flamestorm you okay" Myrtleflower asked padding out of the makeshift Thunderclan den.
"Oh ya I'm fine I was just thinking about something"
"Thinking about what?"
"I think that we need to go and find Finchsong and Bayblossom"
"What!"
"You remember the elders story's of when the old forest was destroyed and they were captured by the Twoleg's Thunderclan was able to get them free and even when Graystripe was captured he was able to make his way back to the clan with Millie"
"Ya I remember that old story"
"So who's to say that we couldn't get them back Graystripe said there probably at the big Twolegplace less then a day away and they will be looking for us it can't be that hard to find them"
"Do you really think that we would be able to get them back from Twolegplace?"
"Well what do you have to loss who's here that makes you stay in the clan Dewnose he certainly doesn't make an effort to get Bayblossom back so why don't we"
"Don't you mention him" Flamestorm could see Myrtleflower's blue eyes flare in anger at the mention of her father Myrtleflower and Dewnose hadn't spoken at all the gray and white tom had sat solemnly in Shadowclan camp all day amber eyes glued to either the ground or the sky and refused to eat any pray even when Whitewing and his parents othered it.
"You know what your right Flamestorm there is no reason that we shouldn't go to look for are siblings in fact we should go look for them tonight"
"Ya your right besides a talked to the Windclan and Skyclan apprentices and they said they can handle The Kin when were gone"
There minds made up Flamestorm and Myrtleflower padded silently out of the Shadowclan camp and out into the forest.
"Flamestorm Myrtleflower wait!" someone called out from behind them Flamestorm turned his head to see Sparkpelt running towards them.
"What the mom what are you doing here?"
"I want to come with you" Sparkpelt announced.
"What!" Flamestorm and Myrtleflower said in unison.
"I want to help you look for Finchsong and Bayblossom"
"Err.. What are you sure?"
"Finchsong is my daughters and I know since your kithood I haven't been around as much as I should have but you and her are the loves of my life your the last things that I have left to remind me of Larksong and I would never forgive myself if something bad happened to one of you I already lost Flickerkit and I'm not going to lose another kit" Sparkpelt said saddle.
"Alright then mom if its what you want then you can come with us"
"Thank you Flamestorm you have no idea how much this means to me"
The 3 cats silently stalked across Shadowclan territory. As the dark pine forest slowly gave way to the more mixed forests of the Thunderclan territory Flamestorm felt a sense of dread even if The Kin wore almost certainly asleep knowing they were still there made him hesitant to be there.
"Sparkpelt are you sure we should be going through Kin territory?" Myrtleflower asked concerned.
"Ya mom I really think we should take the long way through Riverclan"
"Don't worry you to its almost the middle of the night The Kin will all be asleep now" Sparkpelt reassured them.
Suddenly a loud chorus of scream's echoed through the darkness of the forest Sparkpelt, Flamestorm, and Myrtleflower ducked into a dark patch of bush's.
"What in the Dark Forest was that!" Myrtleflower whispered in a panic the screaming sounded nothing like anything Flamestorm had ever heard to long to be a cat or badger and to loud to be a fox dog or wolf.
"Dose anybody else here that!" Sparkpelt whispered. Flamestorm could here a low rumbling coming from the ground "Ya I heard it two" Flamestrom replied "Ya me two" added Myrtleflower.
The rumbling grew into a loud thunder followed by a loud snarling a snarling that almost sounded like Shadowmaw.
"Oh my Starclan is that Shadowmaw!" Flamestorm whispered.
Flamestorm watched as a herd of deer exploded through the bush's crashing through the bush's they were hiding in. "Flamestorm! Myrtleflower! look out!" Sparkpelt cried as they ducked for cover trying to avoid the deer's hooves as they trampled through the undergrowth desperate to get away from something.
It was then Flamestorm could see what the deer were running from.
Shadowmaw ran through the bush's his black gray and tan pelt whooshed by in a blur the wolf snarling and growling ferociously as he nipped at one of the doe's tearing a chunk of fur off the doe shrieked in terror darting into the darkness out of site with Shadowmaw in hot pursuit.
"Holy Starclan" Sparkpelt said in bewilderment.
"Well that was something" Flamestorm said in surprise.
"Ya all second that" Myrtleflower replied.
