So, Noah has made his move and now they are sort-of/kind-of together, not officially, but were given another surprise.

Chapter 14- You Found What?
"Tell me about it" he stated.
As he was cupping her breast, he felt something off. "Damn, I think I sucked these too hard because there is a big lump right here" he said.
Katie froze. "What?" she asked.
"It's right here, I feel a lump" he took her hand and pressed it around the area where he felt the lump.
She sat up and kept her hand around her breasts, covering them in a way, as if protecting herself.
"Noah, that's not supposed to be there" she looked at him seriously, trying not to cry and hold in her emotions.
Quinn realized the seriousness of the situation and immediately got scared. He grabbed the blanket from behind her and wrapped her in it before crushing her to his chest.
"It's going to be okay. We are going to get dressed, go back to the club and talk to your mom. We are going to figure this out. I am going to be there with you every step of the way" he reassured her, helping her stand up and get dressed.
Katie was in shock. She didn't know what to say or what to do. She was just going through the motions.
Noah drove like a madman to get back to the clubhouse. He helped her, arm wrapped around her shoulder, leading her into the clubhouse and straight to the back.
He sat her down on the edge of the bed and knelt down in front of her, grabbing her hands, holding them to her thighs. "I'm going to get your mom okay" he said, cupping the side of her face with one hand.
She just nodded. She was still in shock; all she could do was nod through tears. Her tears were streaming down her face.
He kissed her cheek and left her in the room so he could run back to the common room. He found Mia sitting at the bar with Jax when he walked in.
He went right up to her, "Mia, can I borrow you for a second?" he asked, his eyes wide with worry.
He kept glancing between Mia and Jax. It was obvious that he was nervous. "What's going on Noah? Are you okay honey?" she replied as she got up in front of him.
He nodded, smiling, "yeah, uh, I just really need your help with something Mia, please" he was practically begging.
She could see how serious he was, so she nodded and followed him into the back.
Once she was separate from the rest of the guys, she gave him a serious look. "Okay, what's going on?" she asked him.
He sighed and gave her a defeated look, "Katie and I were fooling around and I felt a lump in her breast" he informed her.
She stopped short in the hallway. She looked at him with wide eyes. "You felt a lump?" she asked just to be sure that she heard it right.
He staid quiet, glancing down before meeting her eyes, nodding. He knew that this was serious and he was trying his hardest not to freak out. He didn't want to scare Katie anymore.
Mia nodded and practically ran the rest of the way down the hall to her daughter's room in their family suite.
She walked in the doorway, freezing when she saw her daughter sitting there, her arms crossed over her chest, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Mia sighed and walked right in and knelt in front of her daughter. Grabbing her hands in hers and squeezing them, moving them away from her chest.
"Honey, it's going to be okay. We are going to figure this out together okay" she tried to get her daughters attention.
Katie looked down at her mom with blurry vision. "There's a lump mom" she said.
Mia nodded, "I know babe. Let me feel and then we'll go from there okay" Mia stated. She knew that she needed to think of a doctor and not a mom.
She couldn't show her fear. She needed to keep her head about her if she was going to help her daughter through this.
Katie nodded and laid back on the bed with her arms raised. Noah sat on the other side of the bed and held her hands, leaning over her face, blocking her view of her mom.
"Okay honey, I am going to start. You are going to feel my hand. I am just going to feel around your breasts for anything abnormal" Mia explained.
Katie nodded, more tears falling down her cheeks. "Shhhh, close your eyes and imagine that we are in your dorm" he started.
She closed her eyes and let out a deep breath. "That's it. Imagine that there is a princess who is away at college, getting ready to spend the night studying when there is a knock at her door. She is surprised to see a handsome prince came rolling in on a silver chrome custom made Harley Davidson ready to sweep the unsuspecting princess off her feet" he started the story.
She laughed, "silver chrome custom made Harley Davidson huh?" Katie teased.
He smiled and leant down to press a kiss to her lips, "only the best for you babe" he replied.
"What happened with the princess?" she asked.
"So, after the prince came rolling in on his custom Harley, the princess couldn't keep her hands off of him, so the royal couple took a swing on the dance floor in a dorm room. The princess was so in the mood after dancing with the prince all night, she pushed the prince to play naked twister" he teased looking down at her to see her reaction.
It took her a minute to process everything before she slapped his shoulder, causing him to laugh and bend down over her to kiss her.
"You are all done honey. I felt the lump. I am going to call Teresa and make an appointment for you to come in and have a mammogram" she said.
"Mom, I can't wait until tomorrow" Katie stated. She practically begged her mom that she needed to get the exam today. There was no way she could wait. She needed to know what was going to happen.
Mia sighed, "okay, I'll call Tess and have her fit you in. It's after clinic hours, so there should be no one there" she explained.
Katie nodded and gave Noah a hug as he helped her sit up and kissed her cheek, "do you want me to come with you or do you want me to wait here?" he asked.
She shook her head. She didn't want him to be there and see her like that just incase it turned out that she really did have breast cancer.
The whole way to the hospital that was all she could think of. She was too young to have cancer. She had too much to live for. More she wanted to do with her life.
Mia held her daughters hand as they walked through the clinic and to the back. Teresa was waiting for them at the exam room.
"Hey, are you ready for this?" Teresa asked Katie.
The young girl nodded with a strained smile. "Yeah, let's just get this over with" she said giving her mom her jacket before following Teresa into the room
She helped her change into a gown and got her set up at the mammogram machine. Teresa got her situated in front of the machine and got her ready.
"Okay, it's just going to be a couple minutes for the exam okay. You are going to feel a lot of pressure" she explained as she started the exam.
Katie did everything that Teresa told her to do during the exam. The whole time she was thinking about she wanted to do after she found out if she was sick or not.
When everything was done, she closed her gown, crossed her arms across her chest and turned to the radiologist. "Okay, I am going to look these over. You change and can wait with your mom while I go over the images" she said.
Katie nodded and changed back into her bra and shirt before she made her way into the waiting room and took a seat next to her mom.
Mia looked over at her daughter for an explanation. "I just finished. She is just looking over the images" she said.
About 20 minutes later, Teresa came out with the chart for Katie. They both stood up when they saw her come out.
"What did they say?" Mia asked.
Katie was too afraid to say anything. She didn't have the nerve to ask what the results said.
"I definitely see a lump in your right breast that is about 5cm, which is pretty significant. I want you to come back for an biopsy" Teresa informed them.
Katie's mind went blank. Tessa was explaining everything to them, going over their next appointments and what was the next step, but she wasn't hearing anything. She was terrified. She was so scared that she was really sick with cancer.
"Katie…Katie…Katherine" Mia raised her voice trying to get her daughters attention.
The young girl snapped her gaze to her mom. "What?" she asked.
"It's going to be okay honey. We are going to figure this out" Mia said, wrapping her arm around her daughters shoulders.
"Of course. Thanks for everything Teresa" Katie said giving her mom's friend a hug.

At the clubhouse, while everyone else was having a good time, Noah was pacing the doorway to the clubhouse.
He was holding his phone, glancing at it every 5 seconds while pacing, waiting for Katie to either call and see what was going on or them to come home.
It wasn't long before Mia pulled the car into the lot. He was on her like white on rice. He opened her door and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her to sit with her legs out of the car.
"Hey, what happened babe? Are you okay?" he asked.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and just hugged him. She needed his strength right now. "They did the mammogram and Teresa said that she definitely saw the lump and she measured it at 5cm, which she said is pretty significant. I don't exactly know what that means, but the look on her face wasn't good" she cried into the crook of his neck as she explained what happened at the appointment.
Noah just kept his arms around her, burying his hand in her hair, kissing the side of her head. "It's going to be okay. No matter what, I am going to be with you every step of the way. What did she say we do next? Do you have to have another scan or something?" he asked.
He was not the medical one in the relationship at all. He had no idea what everything meant, he just knew that she was scared and he wanted to fix that for her.
She pulled away and nodded, while wiping her tears. "Yeah, uh, my mom made me another appointment this week for a biopsy. It's a small outpatient procedure. They use ultrasound and make a small incision, take a piece of the lump and then send it for testing to see if it is cancerous" she explained.
"Well, it'll be okay. We'll get through this one step at a time" he said giving her one more kiss before he helped her out of the car.
"I have to talk to my dad and my brothers" she stated, freezing at the doorway to the clubhouse.
He grabbed her hand and squeezed it, "do you need me with you?" he asked.
She smiled and shook her head, "no, I need to be able to do this" she stated walking into the clubhouse on a mission.
Katie walked right up to her dad and wrapped her arms around his waist, curling into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her, "everything okay princess?" he asked her, rubbing her back up and down in comfort.
"I need to talk to everyone. Can you call everyone into church?" she asked.
He looked at his wife and noticed the seriousness in her eyes and nodded, "yeah of course babe" he said signaling for the music to be cut off.
"Listen up everyone. Katie has an announcement" he got everyone's attention.
Everyone shut up and turned their attention to the bar where Jax was standing with his family. Katie needed her dad's strength and support.
"Thanks for listening everyone. I have an announcement to tell you all. Earlier today, I noticed a lump in my right breast" she stated causing everyone to gasp and get really quiet.
"I went to the doctor and they did a mammogram and they confirmed that there is a 5cm lump, which in my case, is pretty big or has the potential to be problematic, so later this week I am going to have a small procedure to get a biopsy done to see if this lump is cancerous or not. I wanted to tell you all because I am scared and I just need your support" she said with tears rolling down her face.
Jax tightened his arms around his daughter. He bent down and kissed the top of her head. "I love you babe. We are going to be here for you no matter what. Whatever you need okay" he said reassuring her that they were going to be there for her.
All the guys and girls in the club came over and gave her hugs, words of encouragement. It was why she told them in the first place. She needed their support and their strength.
Creed walked over and wrapped her in a hug. She wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her head in his chest.
He kissed the top of her head, "I love you cupcake. Don't worry okay. I am going to be with you for anything you need. Every step of the way through this journey. You are not alone. Ever. You hear me?" he asked, tightening his arms around her.
She nodded against his chest, "I know. I love you too. Thank you for being there for me always. You are the best friend I ever had" she said.
He smirked and kissed the top of her head, curling her tighter into him. "Do you want to hand out later or do you have plans?" he asked looking between her and Noah.
She pulled away smacking his chest with a smile. "Don't be an asshole" she teased with a laugh.
He laughed and kissed her cheek, "I'll be around if you need me okay" he left her with another kiss to the temple.
She nodded and walked up to Noah. He was standing at the bar with the rest of the guys, so she just stood in front of him.
She didn't know how he was going to be now that they were in front of the club. He walked up to her and gave her a hug.
She sighed in relief, glad that he was finally going to be honest with everything in front of everyone. Maybe the picnic and the explosion really knocked some sense in him.
"I'm sorry for everything that's going on. I'll try and support you the best I can. I will always be there for you whatever you need with this whole situation" he said pulling away from the hug.
She looked at him completely and utterly heartbroken. This was like the final straw for her.
He felt her body sag against him while he hugged her in front of everyone. As soon as the words were out of his mouth, he knew he regretted them. The look on her face crushed him.
"What?" she asked.
She was really going to do this. She needed some answers, and she was broken. What he just did to her literally broke her even more. After everything they went through this was the last straw for her. She was pissed.
He looked between everyone staring at them and Katie and started to get nervous. He didn't really want to do this in front of everyone.
"I am sorry you found a lump and you are going through everything" he said.
She put her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyes on him. "You're sorry? You are such an asshole you know that. This was your one chance and now it's done. We are done" she yelled at him with tears in her eyes.
He gave her a pleading look. "Katie, please" he was begging her not to do this right now. They did not need to do this in front of everyone. The situation was stressful enough with her announcement.
"What is she talking about?" Abel stepped up and asked.
"Hey, no, enough. This is about Katie and what she is going through. Can we not do this bullshit right now? Table it for later" Tommy stepped in and defended his sister.
Katie wiped her tears and got out of the situation. She practically ran to the back, slamming her door shut.
She just started pacing. "What the fuck is he doing? What is thinking? That fucking asshole" she ranted to herself as she was pacing in her room.
Tommy followed his sister to the back and into her room. He stood in her doorway and watched as she paced and ranted to herself.
"Katie" he called out getting her attention as he walked in and shut the door behind them.
She turned to her brother with tears in her eyes. He sighed and pulled her into his arms. She couldn't help but just cry in his chest.
Tommy just rubbed her back trying to comfort her. "It's going to be okay Kat" he tried to reassure her.
"He ruined it Tommy. That was the perfect chance to get everything on the table and be out in the open finally about everything and he ruined it" she cried in his chest.
Tommy nodded and just rubbed her back in comfort. "I know sissy, but you can't force someone to do your bidding. You have to just be patient and wait for him to man up and tell dad and Abel. You know we only want you happy" he tried to reassure her.
She nodded, "I know but I want him to man up now. He's such an asshole" she said.
He laughed, "you just have to give him some time" he replied.
Before she could say anything else, there was a knock on the door. Tommy smirked at his sister, knowing that it was Creed.
He got up and opened the door, smirking at his sister over her shoulder, "your boyfriend is here" he teased his sister, causing her to throw a pillow at him.
"Shut up!" she yelled at him as Creed came in laughing.
"I'll take care of her" he stated as he walked in and stood by the bed.
Tommy gave them a two-finger salute and walked out, shutting the door behind him. He knew that she needed her friends and comfort that only Creed could give her.
He knew that their relationship was special and that it was different than normal. He was younger than them, but he knew that they grew up together and they were close for a long time.
Creed stripped to his boxers and got comfortable in bed while Katie changed. She put on a tank top and some booty shorts. Once she changed, she got into bed and curled into his side.
Creed wrapped an arm around her and just held her, waiting for her to talk to him. He knew that she needed to vent, and this was her time to talk and his time to listen.
"I'm scared" she whispered against him.
He took a deep breath. "Me too. I am scared for you because I am selfish bastard, and I don't want to lose you" he said.
She smiled against his chest and nodded, "I don't want to lose you either. We don't even really know anything yet. The radiologist told me that she saw the lump, but they couldn't tell if it was cancerous or not" she explained.
"Well, that's a good thing isn't it. We don't know anything yet. Let's just try to stay positive" he tried to keep things light.
"It's just really big for me. I mean she said it was 5cm. I don't know what it's supposed to be, but I think that's pretty big" she tried to explain.
"I am sure that it's normal for her and she will help you. I mean, I am sure that they can take it out" he stated, trying to calm her down.
He didn't want her to freak out and be scared. "No, it's big Creed. Here feel" she took his hand and put it on the lump.
He felt around the lump and gulped. It did feel big and protruded but he didn't want to tell her that. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug. "You are going to be okay, no matter what, I am going to be there with you every step of the way, even if I have to kick some ass and get people in gear" he teased causing her to laugh and slap his stomach.
"Thank you, Creed, I don't know what I would do without you by my side" she said.
He squeezed her a little, "you never have to find out" he reassured her.

The next couple days were crazy and rough for everyone. Katie was stressing over her lump, while trying to distract herself with work between the hospital and the clubhouse.
Abel and Tommy were worried about their sister and the situation that was going on with the Callabrases. They were going after SAMCRO's businesses. First they were messing with their liquor license at the bar, then they were messing with their legal status.
Abel was trying to keep everything afloat. He had people dealing with the state and the legal stuff, while he was having meetings and calls with Ricky and the Mayans to gather information.
"Hey man, we found that Jose Mendez is the Rogue. He is trying to get in the good graces of Antonio Vega, who is the head of the Callabrases" Ricky informed Abel.
Abel listened to everything and tried to process what they were saying. "What the hell does that have to do with us?" he asked.
"Do you know Maria Vega?" Ricky replied.
Abel tried to think back if he knew the name or if the name sounded familiar. "She went to school with Katie. They were in the same anatomy class or something. I remember Kat saying something about it a while ago" Tommy added to the conversation.
"Yeah well, apparently something went down with Maria where she and Katie were in some type of argument or altercation and she had to drop out of school. Now she is really messed up and I think that they blame Katie" Ricky informed them.
"Jesus, okay now we know why they are coming after us but that doesn't explain how we are going to find them" Abel stated.
"We are looking into it. Just wait to hear from us and keep an eye on our princess" he said.
Once they hung up with Ricky and the Mayans, Abel let out a deep breath and put his head in his hands. This was honestly the last thing that they needed with everything that Katie was going through.
"We can't tell her" Abel said.
Tommy shook his head as he sat across from his brother, "no way, not with her surgery coming up" he stated.

The day had come. The club was sitting in the waiting room while Jax, Abel, Tommy, and Mia stood in the pre-op while the nurses got Katie hooked up to the machines and took her vitals.
"Okay, I am going to give you some happy juice. Don't fight it okay" Kelly said as she grabbed the medicine.
Katie held her mom's hand and nodded at the nurse. She patted her shoulder, "you'll be okay I promise" she reassured her before going to get the medicine ready.
"We'll be waiting for you when you're done Kat" Tommy said.
"Don't worry honey, everything will be fine" Jax stated.
Abel just watched everything happening with tears in his eyes. He was trying to stay cold faced and hold everything in.
Kelly came forward and gave Katie the "happy juice" through the IV. "Okay, want to give hugs and kisses. Dr. Levy is ready for you" she said.
They each took their turns giving her hugs and kisses. When Abel came up to his sister, she squeezed him tight. He pulled away and kissed her cheek.
"Don't worry okay, you'll be fine and done with this after they take care of you" he reassured her.
She wiped her tears and nodded, "I'll see you guys after I am done. Tell Creed I love him and Noah" she looked at her brother through blurry vision and trailed off when she got Noah. She didn't know what she wanted to say. She had so much to say but didn't know where to start.
He gave her one more hug and nodded, kissed her temple. "Don't worry, everything will fine" he said to her before wiping her tears and going back to stand with his family as they watched her get wheeled away to the OR.
The guys from the club all stood up when they saw the Tellers come out of the restricted area.
"What happened?" Creed asked.
"They gave her some anesthetic and took her to the OR. The whole procedure should take an hour, two hours at the most" Mia explained as she took a seat in the waiting room.
"So, she's okay?" he pressed on.
Tommy nodded with a smile, "yeah she's fine. I mean she's nervous but hopefully the medicine will work, and she'll be okay" he replied, taking a seat next to his mom.
"It'll work honey, McAllister is on for anesthesia today. He knows better than to leave my baby in pain" Mia stated.
Jax smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "She's a Teller babe, she's strong. She'll make it out fine" he reassured them.
"Creed, she wanted me to tell you that she loves you" Abel said, watching the Nomad smile and glance down before meeting his eyes.
"I told her that I would be there for her if she wanted me too but that if she was okay to do it alone, give me a message" he explained.
They all looked on and nodded in understanding. No matter how many times they saw it, they still found the relationship between Creed and Noah interesting.
"Quinn, come with me" Tommy led him to the side, away from everyone else.
"What's up?" he asked the youngest Teller.
"Do you love my sister?" Tommy asked when he knew that Abel wouldn't do it.
Noah looked up at him surprised. "What are you talking about?" he gulped trying to change the subject.
"I am talking about you loving my sister, going up to see her at school, being jealous of Creed, and overall being a lovesick puppy" Tommy stated.
Noah looked down at his boots before glancing up at Tommy. "Am I that obvious?" he asked.
Tommy laughed as he leaned against the wall next to the Nomad. "Is that even a question?" he replied.
Quinn chuckled and nodded, "It was my idea to keep things secret. She wanted to tell you all from the beginning. Does Abel know? Or your dad?" he asked seriously.
"Abel has a suspicion but my dad and the OG's don't know anything as far as I know, so you better reign it in or come clean because you are killing her" Tommy explained.
Noah nodded in understanding. He knew this already. Everyone that knew was telling him the same thing.
"Don't tell anyone okay. I want to see what happens after her surgery. I am the one who needs to man up and do this. Just give me the chance" he stated.
Tommy thought it over for a minute before he nodded. "You have until the end of this month. If by the end of August, I am going to tell my dad" Tommy reasoned.
Noah nodded, shaking his hand. "That's fair" he replied.

When the surgery was over, Teresa walked Katie up to the recovery room and got her settled in the new setting.
She got her hooked up to the machines and gave her some pain and nausea medication before she left her with the nurses and walked out to update the family.
In the waiting room, Creed, Tommy, and Abel were pacing. Noah was standing against the wall, staring at the doors to the restricted area where the ORs were.
"She'll be okay guys. They are probably going to recover and getting her set up in the PACU" Mia stated going through a magazine.
"What the fuck? How long does that take?" Abel asked.
"About an hour" Grace replied as she joined the group in the waiting room.
"That's some bullshit" Creed added into the conversation.
Before anyone could say anything else, Teresa walked out into the waiting room. Mia stood up with Jax's arm around her shoulder.
"How'd it go?" Mia asked.
"It went great. We found the lump and took it out. I checked the rest of the mammary gland and the rest of her breast and it was normal. We took some tissues of the lump and am going to take the samples directly to pathology to check the cells" she explained.
"Put it ASAP for the result to come back by tomorrow" Mia stated to the nurse, who wrote it on the chart.
"You got it Dr. Teller" the nurse replied.
"The girls are setting her up in the PACU. You and Jax could come first to see her" Teresa said.
They all took their turns going into the room to see Katie. She was still groggy from the anesthesia, but she was happy to see them.
After her parents and her brothers, it was down to Creed and Noah. The Nomads looked at each other with smirks.
"Go ahead lover boy" Creed teased, nudging his shoulders.
Noah shook his head and nodded as he followed the nurse back to Katie's room.
She was sleeping but he didn't mind. He sat down next to the bed and held her hand. He leant against the bed and kissed her knuckles.
"Dr. Levy said that they found the lump and took out the bad part. They are going to do some sort of test to see if it was cancerous or not. Your mom really went badass on them in the waiting room. I can see where you get it from. The women in your family are badasses" he teased, playing with her hands.
"I talked to your brother Tommy and he knew that we have been together. I told him that I loved you and I wanted us to be together, I just need to figure out what to do to get you to trust me again and show you that I really deserve you" he informed her.
Katie turned her head towards the voice and cracked her eyes to see Noah sitting there next to the bed. "I love you too" she replied.
He looked up at her surprised. "Hey," he wrapped an arm around her head, digging his fingers into her hair. "How are you feeling?" he asked.
She nodded, "I'm okay. They gave me some pain and nausea meds, so I don't really feel anything right now" she replied.
He nodded and got up, leant over careful of her bandages on her chest and pressed a kiss to her lips. "I love you Katie. I promise that I am going to figure something out to make you trust me and show you that I am deserving of you" he said against her lips.
She looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "You don't have to; I just want us to be together. Forget everything else, life is too short" she replied.
He cupped her cheeks and shook her head, "no, you deserve better than that. I promised Tommy that I would pull my act together by the end of the month, so August 1st, your ass is mine" he said, giving her one more kiss.
She smiled and laughed a little, holding her bandages as it hurt to laugh. "It's a date" she replied.
