Chapter 22- She's Mine
Once they were alone, Katie turned to Noah from her place at the edge of the exam table. "Hi possessive caveman I call my boyfriend. You just couldn't let it go, could you?" she teased.
He scoffed, "and leave you alone with Dr. Dreamboat? Yeah right" he replied.
She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, "you know caveman, that was pretty hot" she replied.
"Yeah?" he smirked down at her.
She nodded, "yup, want to help me with my shirt and get out of here?" she asked.
He nodded, "let's go" he grabbed her shirt and helped her get dressed before they made their way out of the hospital.
Noah made his way back home to Las Vegas to catch up with his dad and fill him in on everything that happened in Charming.
He walked into the clubhouse to see Alex, Mac, and their prospect Brandon at the bar. They greeted each other with a man-hug before he joined them for a drink.
"How's Charming?" Alex asked.
"It's crazy. Abel and Tommy are trying to figure out where the increase in drugs is coming from. They think it's from mount white" Noah explained.
"I am more surprised that Jax is letting you transfer to be close to the SAMCRO Princess" Mac teased.
"It's only going to be temporary. Katie goes back to school in a month, and we want to see if we can make it work" he informed them taking a chug of his beer.
"That's what I am saying. I am surprised that Jax is letting you come down and stay there just to play naked twister with his daughter" Alex added.
"Shut up man, I am just trying to be normal as a couple to see if this can work" Noah explained.
Before anyone could say anything else, Raine Quinn walked into the bar with Eli. Noah greeted his dad and brother before taking his place back at the bar.
"Hey, welcome back. When are you leaving for Charming?" Eli asked his older brother.
"I am hoping to leave as soon as I can. Dad has to call the vote in Church before I do anything. I also have to tell mom" he said.
"Well, good luck because your mom is on her way. She wants to talk to you" Quinn said.
Noah froze and panicked. He knew he was going to have to tell his mom, but he wasn't ready yet. He was not looking forward to this conversation.
He turned to his dad with wide eyes. "You told mom?" he asked his dad.
Quinn helped himself to a drink and nodded. "Yeah, she is on her way" he replied.
"Shit" Noah chugged the rest of his beer before grabbing another one.
Eli laughed, "you are in so much trouble" he told his brother.
Noah sighed and ran a hand down his face, "how mad is she?" he asked wanting to be prepared.
Before anyone could say anything else, they heard the clubhouse doors bang open. She glanced around the common room looking for her son.
When he saw Noah standing with his brother and Quinn. "You!" she yelled at him, "move it to the back now" she called out to him.
Noah sighed and put his beer down on the table. She then turned to Quinn and Eli, "You two too, let's go" she pointed to her husband and son.
He walked in front of his mom to the back and to his room, his dad and brother following behind him. Once they were alone in the room, with the door closed, Lisa really let loose.
"Mom" he started, stopping when Lisa put her hand up to stop him.
He just stood there and let her get everything out that she needed to say. "I can't believe this is happening again. First that little hussy tried to take you away from this family and now you are leaving us by choice" she started her rant.
"Mom, I love her" he said.
"I get that honey. We all do, but you can't move away" she replied adamantly.
"Mom, I am not moving. I am just going to stay there for a while to try and see if Katie and I can make this thing between us work for real" he tried to explain.
Lisa sighed, "why can't she come here?" she asked taking a seat at the edge of the desk.
"Ma really, she is nineteen and still in school. Besides, do you really think that Jax will let her move here?" he teased.
She scoffed, "you are not that old either" Lisa made the point.
"Mom, please, let me do this. I need to do this. I am the one that asked her to give this a chance. I need to see if we can really have a chance" he tried to explain.
"Why?" she asked. She was pissed that he wanted to move away from her.
"Mom, I miss her. I am miserable here without her. Come on Ma, even Ruth, Eli, Dad, and the guys can see that I need to be in Charming and with Kat" he tried to inform her.
Lisa sighed and sagged against Quinn as he came up behind his wife and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
"You want to see if she is the one. I get it honey. At least your heart is in the right place" Lisa sighed. Quinn kissed her temple.
He knew this was hard for her because Noah was her baby boy.
"You raised me right" he added with a big smile, hoping to get on her good side.
Lisa smiled as she wrapped her arms around his waist, "flattery will get you nowhere smartass" she said against his chest.
Noah wrapped his arms around his mom and settled her against him. He was the first born and such a mamma's boy.
"You are going to have to come visit me often. Both of you need to come back home and I'll be coming down there to Charming, so you better be ready" she informed him.
He chuckled against her, "I expected that. Don't worry ma, it'll be fine. I mean I am staying at the clubhouse, but you can probably stay with Katie and Mia" he replied.
"I will accept this if you answer me one question. Do you love her?" she asked looking up at him.
He smiled down at her, "yes" he answered immediately.
She smiled, "how much?" she continued.
"A lot, why?" he looked at her with a quirked eyebrow.
"Because I might forgive you for this move if you give me some grandkids" she replied innocently, causing Quinn to burst out laughing and Noah to shake his head.
"Mom for fucks sake, Katie is still in school. We are nowhere near ready for that yet" he stated, shaking his head.
"I am not hearing it. I want at least two from you. You are my first born and my baby boy, it is your job to deliver" she stated.
Quinn just shook his head, "don't even bother arguing about this, she isn't going to budge" he informed his son.
He knew his wife and their kids were her life, but Noah was different. Not only was he her first born, but they spent the first few years of his life just the two of them together. They had a different bond than she did with the rest of the kids or even he did with his son.
This move was not going to be easy on her.
"I'll call Jax and give him my okay for the transfer" Quinn got up and wrapped his arms around his wife and son.
"I got you too bro, whatever you need" Eli added, patting Noah on the back.
"I hate to point this out and ruin the family moment, but you know that for this relationship with Katie to work, you are going to have to make peace with her relationship with Creed, right?" Ruth questioned.
Noah sighed, "yeah, I know. Jax already brought all that up when I was there before Olivia's birthday. Fucking Creed man, why the fuck did I have to fall for someone who gets along with everyone?" he muttered to himself while answering his sister.
"Oh, another thing, you might want to talk to her best friend too and get permission. It's girl code, we stick out for each other and if you are going to have a relationship with Katie, then I can guarantee that you are also going to have one with Jules because Katie is going to tell her everything. It's just what we do" Ruth pointed out.
Noah smiled and pulled his sister into their hug, "good looking out sis" he kissed the top of her head.

In Charming, the guys were walking out of Church when Katie walked in with her mom. They were just getting out of work.
"So, we have to figure out a different supply route that doesn't interfere with Darby or Ricky's territory" Abel said to Tommy.
"Yeah, no kidding. Ricky won't be a problem, but we need to avoid Darby" Tommy replied.
"Why don't you call Luca and use his pathways?" Katie asked from the couch as she started taking out her books and notebooks.
"Seriously? You think he would do that for us?" Abel asked.
Tommy smirked at his brother before getting the message that his sister was trying to say. "No, but he would do it for our sister" Tommy stated.
Abel looked between his brother and sister questioning and in shock. "Seriously Kat, how the fuck do you know the head of the Italian Mafia?" he asked his sister.
Katie chuckled, "don't be so dramatic Abel. Luca is not the head of the Italian Mafia; he just runs the territory in New York. If you want to move anything from here to Jersey, pretty much anything through New York, you have to get his approval" she replied.
"That doesn't answer my question. How the fuck do you know Luca?" he kept digging.
She just shrugged, "I went to school with his brother Matty and besides, Luca is friends with Parker's brother Dante. We met at Matty's birthday party a couple years ago" she answered.
Abel fell back against the chair at the kitchen table with a hand over his face. "Jesus Christ, my sister has more connections than the fuckin' French connection. Any other fucking people that you know?" he asked looking at her expectantly.
She just shrugged as she tied up her hair and put her glasses on. "Not that I know of" she replied innocently.
Tommy just laughed while Abel shook his head. "Great" he stated.
"Does Noah know about Luca?" Jimmy asked.
Katie shook her head, "not exactly" she replied as she started with her charting.
"That's going to be fun to watch. Why don't you come get me the next time he calls?" Abel teased.
Before they could say anything else, her phone went off. She smiled as she answered.

Noah was just finishing up working on the Chevy in the garage when
"Hi Dimples" she greeted with a smile. Even though he couldn't see her, she couldn't help but smile. He just made her happy.
"Hey Dollface, how are things over there?" he asked as he dried his hands and walked out to sit on the curb and pull out a cigarette.
"It's alright. Mom and I just got back from work and I am exhausted. Just going over some charts and stuff for Dr. Alexander. How are things there?" she asked as she leaned back against the chair.
"There alright Angel, I talked to my mom and the family. My dad is going to call Jax and ok my transfer for the rest of the summer" he informed her.
Katie sat up with a huge smile on her face, "seriously?" she perked up.
Noah smiled through a laugh at her excitement, "yeah babe, seriously. She was pissed at first, but she got it. I am coming down as soon as the transfer goes through" he explained.
"That's great Dimples. Yay! I am so excited, that is going to be perfect. I will set up a room for you in the clubhouse and make sure everything is ready for you here don't worry" she replied venting everything all at once.
"Thanks Dollface, hey did they find anything out about the new routes to move the shipments cross country? Creed and Junior were up here not long ago before heading out to New York" he informed her.
Katie looked at her brothers with a sigh before nodding, "yeah kind of. Do you remember I told you about Matteo Vitello, he is friends with Parker and I from school?" she said.
"Yeah, so. Why are you telling me this?" he asked.
"Well, my brothers think that it is disrespectful and that you are going to freak on me for being friends with the Head of the New York Italian Mafia. They think that just because we are going to use my connection with Luca for the pathways, that you are going to freak out" she explained.
Noah smiled, "babe, would you be using this connection through anything physical?" he asked.
She looked ahead confused, "no" she replied.
"Then why would I care Dollface?" he added.
She smiled at her brothers, "see, I told you that Noah was more rational and logical than you Neanderthals" she said to them causing them to laugh.
"Be nice Dollface, I'll see you in a few weeks" he stated before hanging up.
Once Noah hung up with Katie, Eli plopped next to him at the bar. He put two shots in front of them, wrapping his arm around his brother's shoulders.
"Let's party it up one more time before you leave" he said.

Everything was set for Noah to make his transfer for the summer to Charming. Quinn talked to Jax and the rest of the Presidents. They all agreed for Noah to make the transition.
They would start the process in the next couple of weeks. Noah called it an early night and went to bed.
The next morning, he was awoken to his phone ringing. He buried his head in the pillow and patted around his nightstand for his phone.
"What?" he answered voice full of sleep.
"It's Jax" Teller greeted with a smirk as he made himself a cup of coffee. He knew it was early, but after talking to Quinn, he wanted to get the transfer going.
"Hey. Sorry, what's up?" Noah asked as he sat up further in bed.
"I am sending Junior and Creed your way to take your place. Make sure someone meets them and follows them to the clubhouse" Jax informed him.
"Yeah sure, are they staying here?" he asked. That's what usually happened. When one of them transfers to another charter, others come in and take their place.
"Yeah, Creed is staying. Junior is going to lead the traveling routes from here to New York and deal with the Mob" Jax explained.
Noah nodded, "that makes sense. I want in on the first route before I officially transfer" he said pulling out a pack of smokes from his nightstand.
Jax laughed as he walked outside to the patio and leant against the railing. "Any particular reason you want to be on this first run?" he asked already knowing the answer to the question.
He figured that Noah wanted to go on the run to meet Luca and see how he was with his daughter.
Noah got up and started to pace his room taking a few puffs of his cigarette, hoping that the nicotine would calm him down.
"I just want to make sure that everything is legit" Noah stated.
Jax smirked, "want to make sure everything is legit or check in on Luca?" he asked, shaking his head when he heard Noah mumble a curse under his breath.
"How the hell does your 22-year-old daughter know the fucking head of the fucking Italian Mafia in New York? My girlfriend is more connected than the fucking French Connection" he groaned.
Jax couldn't help it, he just threw his head back laughing. He knew that Noah was worried about Katie and Luca's relationship. "She is friends with his brother. From what she told us; it isn't a big deal" he explained.
"My girlfriend is friends with the Italian Mob, of course I am going to make sure that this guy is trustworthy and that he knows that I have nothing to worry about" he replied.
Jax nodded in agreement, "okay, I'll talk to your dad and have Creed meet you in Vegas and Junior meet you at the border in New York. I talked to Luca, and he is expecting you. His brother Matteo, Katie's friend is going to meet you all at the border and take you to the house" Jax informed him.
Noah nodded, "does Katie know about this?" he asked.
Jax sighed, "yeah, she is going with you all. She wants to see Luca and Matteo and hang out with her friends while you guys are doing business" he replied.
"Great, I'll talk to her" he stated.
Jax laughed, "Good luck" he knew his daughter and she was not going to budge on this. Not even if Noah asked her too. "Alright I'll talk to you soon" Jax said before hanging up.
The next morning, Abel and Tommy were waiting for their sister outside the clubhouse. She was going to New York with them and Creed to meet up with Junior and Luca to discuss shipping through his territory.
Katie was excited. She missed her New York friends and really just wanted to catch up. With all the convincing it took for her dad to let her go, she was not going to give him any reason to change his mind.
She grabbed her bag and made her way out to her brother. "You finally ready?" Abel asked as he started to mount his bike.
She nodded and went over to Creed. He put her bags in his saddle bags and got on first, helping her with her helmet and on the bike.
Jax stood at the doorway of the clubhouse watching his kids get ready to leave. "You guys be careful and wait for Junior and Matteo at the diner close to the boarder of New York. And you better call me and let me know when you get to the diner" Jax said.
Abel saluted from the corner of his head, and he revved up, leading the pack out of the clubhouse and on their way to New York.
They actually made good time to the diner because they only stopped once for gas and bathroom breaks.
The Vegas boys were already there at the diner waiting for them. Noah was with Eli, Quinn and Mason were sitting at the table waiting for the Charming boys to come through.
The guys got up and greeted each other before joining everyone at the table. "So, what's going on? When are we going to meet the mob?" Noah asked.
He was anxious to get the meeting over with so he could get back with Katie. Jax and Quinn smirked at the younger member.
"First we need to figure out where this stuff is coming from? We don't deal with drugs in Charming, so it would make more sense for them to come through SAMTAZ" Abel said.
"That makes sense, but if they are trying to spread the H trade through New York, then why go through SAMTAZ?" Noah asked.
Abel and Tommy looked at each other and sighed, "we don't know. That is what we are trying to figure out. All I do know is that if they want to distribute through New Jersey or New York, we are going to have to make peace with the mob" Tommy replied.
The boys talked about the situation and different pathways for another hour before they decided to wrap things up.
Creed and Noah were going to meet up with Matteo at the border while Quinn took some Nomads to visit the other charters and see if they are having the same problem. Katie was just excited to see her friends again.
It didn't take them long to get to New York. At the border, Junior was waiting with another man, everyone assumed was Matteo.
Katie got off the bike before Creed even had it parked and ran to greet Matteo.
He Italian man saw her coming and braced himself, opening his arms to lift her into a hug. "Damn Red, I missed you more than I thought I would" he teased.
Katie got down and slapped his shoulder, "I missed you guys too. It's really good to see you. I am excited to see everyone again" she replied.
Matteo smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, kissing the top of her head. Abel cleared his throat and stood with the rest of his brother's arms crossed across his chest.
Katie got a little sheepish and turned to her brother and the rest of the guys. "Matty, these are my brothers Abel and Tommy, my friend Creed and this is Noah," she pointed to each of the guys.
"Guys, this is Matteo Vitello" she introduced them to each other.
Abel and Tommy nodded and shook his hand, "nice to meet you" Tommy said.
"You too, so everyone ready to go?" Matteo asked.
They all nodded, "we'll follow you to the club" Abel said as they all got on their bikes.
Matteo led them to the Sphere, where Luca was waiting for them to conduct business. It didn't take long either to get to the club.
Matteo led them into the club and through the main room and into the back where the offices were. He knocked and led them into the office to meet with Luca.
The elder Vitello stood up when he saw his brother and the rest of the boys coming in. Scanning them each, he was always on top of his game and aware of his surroundings.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Little Red coming to see the Big Bad Wolf" Luca teased as he came out from around the desk and greeted her with a hug.
Katie just started laughing. "It's really good to see you Luca. I missed you guys so much" she reached up to kiss his cheek.
He smiled, "we missed you too Little Red. Dani is waiting for you upstairs" he informed her.
She nodded, "great" she said before turning to her brothers. "Abel, Tommy, Creed, Junior, Noah, this is Luca Vitello" she introduced them all to each other.
Luca turned to each of the men and nodded, stepping forward to shake hands with Abel. "Nice to meet you all. Heard a lot about you. Little Red loves talking about her family" he replied.
They nodded at him. "We are ready to talk business when you are" Abel stated.
Noah was just watching his girlfriend with the Italian Mob and was surprised at how calm and comfortable she was. It was as if she was with him or at another charter.
Katie got the hint, she pointed to the stairs, "I'll just go see Dani. You boys behave" she said before she made her way upstairs to see her friend.
Dani was waiting for her in the living room/reception area. She couldn't help but squeal when she saw her, running up to her and wrapping her arm around her with a hug.
"I missed you soo much! You have no idea how much we missed your face around here" she teased her friend wrapping her in a hug.
Katie couldn't help but laugh and pull back, "I missed you guys too. How is Gianna? How did she do with the wedding? I was surprised that she actually went through with it" she said taking a seat and helping herself to the spritzer that was waiting for her.
Daniella plopped down next to her friend with her own spritzer and nodded, "you have no idea. I was so worried that she would cause a scene or refuse but thank God my sister decided to behave and follow through with the wedding" she said.
Katie laughed, "I can't understand why, Matteo is a catch. She would be lucky to have him" Katie replied.
Dani laughed and nodded in agreement, "yeah, I think she finally saw that when he was shot by the Russians. She couldn't help but give in and take care of him. She was so jealous of anyone else helping him, she drove Luca crazy" Dani explained.
"I can imagine. Luca is crazy patient, but his patients only goes so far and he only lets certain people see that side of him" Katie remembered from experience how hard it was dealing with Luca when she first met him.
The boys watched Katie got up the stairs, leaving them to their own devices. Abel started the conversation first. "So, how do you know my sister?" he asked.
"We actually met through my brother. He brought her home for a party once and it was all she wrote as they say. She didn't even blink when she found out that we were Italian Mafia" he laughed, shaking his head.
"Yeah that's my sister. So, my sister said that you are willing to work with us for safe passage through New York to New Jersey" Abel said.
Luca smile at his brother and nodded as he took a seat on the edge of the desk, "yeah, that's the deal. For Little Red, we'll do anything, and she already told us what you all needed. We set up the routes already and you should be able to make the passage from Charming to New Jersey with no issues. Someone from our organization, Romeo will meet you at the border when it's time to for your guys to come through and follow you to the border" Luca explained everything.
Abel looked at the boys and nodded, "I already met with Romeo, he's solid" Junior added.
Tommy gave his brother a knowing look. Abel nodded and put his hand out to Luca, "you got yourself a deal" he said.
Luca nodded and got off the table. "Great, let's celebrate. Come on, we'll join the girls and grab a drink" he led the way through the stairs, his brother following.
The SAMCRO boys all looked at each other and around the club taking everything in. "I can't believe we are working with the fucking mob" Abel said under his breath as he followed the brothers upstairs.
They all saw Daniella and Katie sitting on the couch with drinks in their hands, comfortable as can be. It took them a minute to recognize that the boys had joined them.
"Well, aren't you two chummy" Luca teased.
Dani reached over and wrapped her arms around Katie, "well I missed my girlfriend, with you working all the time, I need someone other than Gia to talk too" she replied.
"Well, excuse me for being the boss" he stated.
Dani laughed and got up to wrap her arms around her husband's neck, "you are excused" she replied with a kiss to the lips.
Matteo joined Katie on the couch, "they just make you sick don't they" he said wrapping his arm around Katie's shoulders.
She just laughed, "don't be jealous" she teased reaching up to kiss his cheek.
"I knew there was a reason that I missed you princess" he replied kissing her temple.
She looked at the boys, "so, how was it? We doing business or what?" she asked.
Matteo gave her a look, "don't look at me. I'm not the boss? Look at the Wolf" he stated pointing to Luca.
"Well?" she asked Luca.
He looked at her with a smile, "have I ever been able to say no to you?" he asked her.
She smiled with a laugh and shook her head, "no" she replied.
Noah stepped up and put out his hand for her. She smiled and grabbed his hand, letting him pull her up. She wrapped an arm around her neck, "you okay?" she asked.
He nodded and leant forward to kiss her, pressing his lips against hers. "Yeah babe, I'm good" he said looking at Luca and Matteo with his arms around Katie.
She followed his line of sight and shook her head. She knew that kiss was a territorial thing. He only did that to make sure that Luca and Matteo knew she was taken.
"Feel better now?" she asked.
He nodded, "yes actually I do" he replied looking down at her with a smile, leaning forward to peck her lips.
"They always like this?" Matteo asked Abel.
The Teller brothers nodded, "unfortunately" he replied causing everyone to laugh.
