This chapter will have a bit of a time jump and illustrate more of Katie's relationship with her friends in comparison to her relationship with Noah.

Chapter 26- Proposal
"Whatever you say honey" Jax said wrapped his arms around his wife, kissing the side of her head.
Quinn laughed, watching as Noah and Katie made their way over, his arm around her, practically holding her up.
"We are going to call it a night Pop" Noah said.
"You going to the bunkroom or headed to the house?" Quinn asked.
Noah smirked at down at Katie, who was half asleep against him. "Nah, I don't think we would make it home. I am going to take her to Eli's on the property" he replied.
Quinn nodded and patted his son on the back. Noah smiled down at Katie, nodding at his dad. "Ready to go Dollface?" he asked.
She smiled up at him and wrapped her arms around his waist, cuddling deeper into him. "Yeah, let's go" she said before turning to her dad, "I am leaving with Noah daddy" she told Jax.
He smiled and nodded at her. "Have a goodnight Princess" he kissed the top of her head.
Noah pretty much carried Katie to brother's apartment on the compound. He got her settled in the bedroom, sat her on the side of the bed and pulled off her dress.
He helped her lay down and covered her with the blanket before starting to undress. "I love Las Vegas Dimples" Katie mumbled as she cuddled and burrowed in the pillows and under the covers.
Noah laughed and leant down to kiss the top of her head, "I am sure you do Dollface" he teased as she crashed.
Katie loved being in Las Vegas and with the girl gang of Nevada. She loved the Nomads. The girls were having a great time with each other.
"I am going to miss you when you leave" Ruth said as she helped herself to a bottle of club soda.
"Does this mean I am the Nomad in this girl gang?" she asked.
Ruth and Angela laughed, "yeah I guess it does" Angela replied.
Before Katie could reply, Smiley walked over from downstairs, wrapped his arm around Ruth's shoulders.
Katie smiled and wrapped her arms around their shoulders, "I am going to miss you guys too. Hey, we should do something fun before I have to get back to Charming" she said.
"There is a lake house we could go to that is just outside Vegas, in the mountain country of Nevada" Ruth stated, getting up to grab her laptop.
As Ruth showed them the lake house, they all got excited to go and started planning on how they were going to get their men to agree to go.
Katie settled on the couch in Noah's Nevada apartment with her laptop to research more on their vacation spot. She had been at it several hours by the time Noah came home.
He parked his bike next to Katie's jeep and walked in. He walked through the kitchen to the living room, pausing at the doorway to see Katie asleep on the couch, her laptop on her lap, papers everywhere, her glasses on, hair up in a bun and in his clothes.
He dropped his stuff in the closet and walked in. He quietly moved her stuff off her lap so he could cage her in, on the couch, kissing her forehead. She scrunched her face and started to shift.
He moved his lips down her face, kissing her eyelids…cheeks…nose…. down her jaw reaching her lips.
He tugged the bottom of her chin and nipped at her lips. He practically devoured her mouth, pressing deeper into her mouth, claiming her.
He licked the line of her mouth, tracing her lips with his tongue. Katie responded instantly, massaging her tongue with his.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, digging her fingers into the hair at the base of his neck. "Hi Beautiful" he greeted with a smile on his face, pressing his lips against hers.
"Hi Dimples, how was the run?" she asked.
Early in the morning, Quinn pulled Noah and Creed away to go on a local run for some reconnaissance around Vegas.
He settled next to her on the couch, pulling her into his lap. "It wasn't bad, all good news. Creed went back to the clubhouse and crashed as I made my way here, so we should be able to hang out a little today after the meeting. We need to get this shit together and then we can figure out what we are going to do before we leave Las Vegas" he said.
Katie smiled, "that's news to my ears" she teased, looking up at him from her current spot in his arms.
He looked over at her with a smirk on his face. He knew her well enough to know that she was up to something.
"What are you up to Dollface? I assume that smirk on your face has to do with your project you got going on here" he commented.
She turned into his arms and straddled his waist, her arms round his neck. "So, I was talking to the girls today during our girl gang meeting. Since I am the only Nomad, it is my job to figure fun things out for us to do on the way between us to unite each other and so, I may have come up with something and I need you to hear me before you shut it down" she warned him.
He nodded and sat back, his arms crossed across his chest, "alright babe, what do you got?" he asked.
She reached around and twisted on his lap to grab her laptop that was sitting next to him on the couch. She turned the screen towards him with a huge smile on her face.
Noah watched her amused when he realized what she said. "Babe, what the hell is a girl gang? And why are you the Nomad?" he asked.
"Your sister made us all a girl gang. So, it is me, Ruth, Chloe, Grace, and Nora. We are going to add more people as the guys get with the girls. I am Nomad because I am in Charming" she explained.
He nodded and watched as she grabbed the screen of her laptop and turned it over to face him. He looked at the screen and read over everything.
"Am I supposed to know what Wolfe County Lodge is?" he asked looking up at her.
"Well, we have been both working hard and trying to figure out time with each other without our jobs getting in the way. We need to make time for each other if we are going to figure out what our future is going to be. Ruth and I came up with the idea that the young couples go to Wolfe County Lodge for a family retreat. We found this cute lake house outside Vegas, in like a mountain county in Nevada. The cabins are going to be next to each other. It is going to be so much fun" she stated.
She was trying to convince him that this was going to be a good idea for them to do together.
He laughed, "do I really have a say in this or are you just trying to be nice by including me in the planning?" he asked with a smirk.
She laughed and moved her computer to the side and wrapped her arms against him, "no, but I really just wanted to be nice" she teased, leaning forward, pressing her lips against his, nipping at his lips, causing Noah to sit up and pull her closer.

The girls made the plan that they were going to drive up to Wolfe Lodge on Friday, so they have the whole weekend.
The girls each planned to cook everything and went grocery shopping to make sure they had everything to take with them to the cabin.
Katie made an extra batch of meat sauce, marinara sauce, a gallon of homemade BBQ sauce, homemade salad dressings and marinades, and all the cookies, breads, brownies and anything else she could think of that they would need to tie them over for a week.
When Noah opened his freezer to see if he could find some ice cream for the kids at the clubhouse, he saw all the containers of food Katie had piled in there, all organized and neatly placed. He just laughed. All he could do was laugh.
"Jesus Christ" he mumbled to himself, shaking his head.
"Hey Katie, why the hell don't I just rent a U-Haul and pull the damn freezer behind the jeep? It'll probably be cheaper than buying a cooler and trying to fit all this damn food. You know that right?" he yelled from the kitchen as he made his way to the bedroom to see Katie organizing their clothes.
She looked up at him as she was folding the clothes and putting them away. "Are you talking to me Dimples?" she feigned hearing any of his previous conversation.
He smirked and leant against the doorway, "of course not Dollface" he teased, shaking his head as he walked in and stood next to the bed, smiling down at her.
She shook her head with a smile, "you are such a smartass" she replied swiping his stomach with a towel.
"Babe seriously, the whole refrigerator is filled to the brim with food and marinades. How the hell is someone supposed to find something in there? The kids wanted some ice cream and popsicles, but I couldn't find anything there" he stated.
She stopped folding the clothes and looked up at him surprised. "Why didn't you get the popsicles and ice cream in the freezer? I bought two new boxes when Ruth and I went shopping" she explained.
"Are you kidding me Dollface? You've got that freezer packed like a tetris game. I am not going to search for popsicles and ice cream. Forget the kids, their parents can get them some dessert. I am not getting yelled at for messing up your system" he informed her.
Katie laughed and got up off the bed. She walked out of the bedroom and down to the kitchen. She opened the freezer and slowly started pulling out containers to see the box of cherry popsicles and Neapolitan ice cream.
She handed them to Noah with a smirk. "Go give the kids some dessert" she stated.
Noah shook his head with a smile. He grabbed the boxes from her and leant forward to nip at her lips. "I'll see you later Dollface" he said before leaving back to the clubhouse.

1 week later….
Noah, Smiley, Jax, Quinn, and the girls were getting themselves ready to head up to the lake house. Katie and Ruth loaded the trunk of the van that Mikey was going to drive to Wolfe County Lodge.
"You think we have enough food honey?" Quinn asked as he walked up behind Katie as she loaded the trunk.
Katie smiled and chuckled, "you all joke, but you won't be laughing when you want something to eat and start going through all the food and my mom and I made" she defended herself.
Noah walked up behind his Old Lady and wrapped his arm around her waist.
"I appreciate all the food you made Dollface" he nuzzled her neck, nipping at her pulse point.
Katie smiled and tilted her head for more access. "You are so pussy whipped" Eli teased his brother.
Katie laughed, "were you appreciative when you were complaining about the packed freezer or after?" she replied as she pulled away from him to gather with the girls.
Eli started cracking up laughing, wrapping his arm around his brother. "She's got you down to a tee, if you don't lock that down, someone else will" he stated.
Noah elbowed his brother, "you are such an asshole, I claimed her at the table. She is my Old Lady, she is mine, I got her, and she is not going anywhere" Noah replied.
"Okay, we all ready to go?" Nora asked as she walked over with the bags for them all.
"Let's go, Mikey, you are in the truck. We will have Smiley and Ruth up front with me and Jax; Noah, you and Eli will bring up the rear" Quinn instructed everyone.
The guys all got into their respective places and started their bikes, ready to go. The girls got on behind the guys and wrapped their arms around their waist.
"Ready to go Dollface?" Noah asked as he put on his helmet.
She smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist, "ready as you are Dimples" she said.
It wasn't long before the guys got on the road and were able to make good time to Wolfe County. The girls had rented cabins and lake houses for them all to get together.
The guys pulled into the driveway and parked next to each other. The guys started unloading the jeep and loading them into the cabin with the adults. Then they would go through the bags and disperse them between the two cabins.
The girls immediately began unpacking the food and loading it into the fridge in both cabins.
Katie and Mia had already prepared burgers, sausage, peppers, tomatoes, onions, and some salads before they left, so they brought those out for the guys to grill so they could all eat before going to swim.
The guys pulled the coolers up to the deck that connected the cabins and started the grills, passing each other beers, before settling on the deck.
Noah started pacing the deck. He was nervous and ready to get this over with.
"Dude, you are going to give yourself away if you don't calm down" Creed said.
"I am nervous, I can't help it. What if she says no?" he panicked.
Creed started laughing as the guys all shook their heads. If Noah really thought that, then he really was stupid and had no idea who his girl was at all.
"She says no and I am a fucking virgin, you asshole. She isn't going to say no" Joey added.
Noah smiled and shook his head in amusement. He knew they were just trying to calm him down, but he was beyond nervous.
"I can't help it" he replied.
The girls were having a similar conversation inside. Grace, Nora, Ruth, Mia, and Lisa were trying to get Katie outside so Noah could begin his plan, but she wasn't budging.
"Honey, we got it from here. Why don't you go an enjoy Noah a little bit?" Mia said.
"It's okay mom, I can help a little. Noah is hanging out with Dad and the guys" she replied.
"Well, I want to see the dock and the view, so come with me" Ruth intertwined her arm with Katie's and dragged her outside.
The guys, especially Noah froze when the girls came outside. "Hey guys, what's going on?" Ruth asked.
"Not much babe, we are just cooking up the meat you guys prepped" Jordan (Smiley) teased.
"Shut up, you are going to be glad we have enough food for the rest of the week" she replied slugging him in the stomach.
"Come on Dollface, let's go look at the lake and check out the view" Noah wrapped his arm around her shoulders and led him down the lawn to the dock.
Once they were closer to the dock, the rest of the group slowly came down after them to watch the scene. They wanted to witness the proposal.
Katie stood at the edge of the fenced deck looking out to the lake with a smile on her face. "This is beautiful don't you think Dimples?" she asked.
Noah got on his knee and smiled, nodding, "yeah, it's beautiful babe" he replied.
Katie turned to smile at him, only to freeze at seeing him on his knee.
"What are you doing?" she asked shocked.
Noah took a deep breath, "Kathrine Teller, I love you with my whole heart. You are my whole life, and I am in love with you. I want to spend my life with you. I want to watch you get into medical school, graduate college, walk down the aisle to me, have my babies, and watch our life grow together. You have completely changed my life. I knew when we were teenagers that I was going to marry you and you were going to be in my life. Please do the me honor of being my wife" he proposed to her.
Katie had tears rolling down her face. She looked up to wipe her tears and saw her whole family and the club behind him.
She even saw Johnny and Jules standing there with tears in her eyes. Jules smiled at her friend and nodded. She wanted her to be happy.
She was so happy for her best friend. When Noah called her with the plan, she was more than willing to take off and be there for her.
Noah had taken Jules's number from Katie's phone, to tell her about his plan. He purposely waited until Katie was at the mall with Ruth and his mom to make the call.
"Hey Bitchy, what's going on with Mr. Hunk in Leather?" Jules greeted.
Noah just shook his head and chuckled, "Jules, it's me Noah. I need to talk to you about something important" he answered.
Jules panicked and froze in the middle of the hospital. "What's going on Quinn? Is something wrong with Katie?" she asked.
Noah sighed and ran a hand over his face, "no, no, nothing is wrong with Katie or me. In fact, everything is going great" he replied.
Jules got confused, "what are you talking about Noah? What is going on with Katie?" she asked, wanting him to get to the point.
"I have a surprise for Katie. I claimed her at the table, put my Crow on her, and made her my Old Lady. I want to take the next step and make her my wife" he stated.
"YOU PROPOSED WITHOUT ME!" Jules yelled through the phone.
He shook his head and pulled the phone away from his ear. "No Jules, relax, damn girl. We are supposed to go to a lake house outside Vegas this weekend before we leave Nevada. Everyone is going, so I plan to propose while we are there, and I want you and Parker there" he informed her.
"That's better. You better not even think about proposing to my girl without me there" she warned him.
Noah laughed, "you got it babe. I will call Johnny and get everything coordinated with him for the trip up" he explained.
"I'll see you soon Mr. Hunk in Leather" Jules said before hanging up and immediately calling Parker to get their schedules together.
Katie wiped her eyes and leant over cupping his face, resting her forehead against his. "I love you so much. Of course, I will marry you" she replied pressing her lips against his with a kiss.
He got up, wrapped his arms around her and nipped at her lips, taking the kiss deeper.
Katie pulled away smiling when she heard the cheers and catcalls from their group of friends. Noah pulled away and put the ring on her finger as their friends and family crowded them.
Mia and Jax pulled Katie away from Noah and wrapped her into their arms. "Congratulations honey, we are so happy for you sweetheart" Mia said cupping her daughters' cheeks and wiping her tears.
"Thanks mom" she said before moving to Jax, who was standing there just watching his daughter. He couldn't believe this was happening to him. He was losing his daughter.
"Daddy" Katie cried, making her way to her dad, wrapping her arms around his waist.
Jax wrapped his arms around her daughter and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "I love you, Princess. You are always going to be my little girl and I am always going to be there for you" he said pressing her into his chest.
The day that Noah came to ask his permission to marry his daughter would be forever burned in his mind.

Noah was nervously pacing outside Jax's office at the clubhouse. He was sweating bullets, going over what he was going to say in his mind.
Jax got up to walk out and call for Tommy to go over the books when he ran into Noah, pacing outside his door.
"Noah, you okay? What's going on?" he asked.
Noah looked up at Jax, wiping his hands on his jeans, "I need to talk to you" he said seriously.
Jax tensed, "everything okay with Katie?" he asked worried for his daughter.
Noah smiled in relief for a minute, "no, yeah, everything is fine. Well, I need to talk to you about Katie, but everything is okay" he stated.
Jax nodded and led him into the office. Jax took a seat on the edge of his desk and watched as Noah stood in front of him, taking deep breaths. He was seriously scared of getting this out.
"What's going on Noah? Spit it out" Jax said, crossing his arms across his chest.
"I would like your permission to marry your daughter" Noah blurted out.
Jax tensed, standing up straight. "Excuse me?" he asked, having not heard the young man right.
Noah let out a deep, nervous breath. "I love Katie and I want to spend my life for her. I claimed her at the table, so you have to know that I am serious about her" he tried to defend himself.
"She wants to go to Medical School. She want's to be a doctor. I don't want anything stopping her from living her dream" Jax argued.
Noah shook his head, "I am not going to stop her from being a doctor. I want her to achieve all her dreams. I want to see her happy. I am not going to stand in her way. I want to be there with her for all that she achieves. She already applied to med schools; we are going to take this one step at a time" he tried to explain.
He wanted Katie to do whatever she wanted in life. He just wanted to be there with her.
"If she says yes, then okay. You have my permission to ask her and marry her" Jax said, smirking when he saw Noah completely sag in relief.
"Thank you, sir, I promise I just want to make her happy" he replied, shaking Jax's hand before walking out of the office.
He couldn't help but let out a breath and wipe a hand over his face. "Jesus Christ" he sighed to himself.
He was not ready for this. He wasn't ready to lose his little girl.

He looked over at Noah who was standing with his parents, "if you hurt her or even think about hurting her, I will scatter your ashes from Charming to Nevada" he threatened him.
Noah laughed, "if I hurt her, then I deserve everything you do to me" he said.
Katie left her dad's arms and made her way to Noah who wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his chest.
He leant down and pressed a kiss on the top of her head. "I love you babe" he smiled down at her.
Katie smiled up at him and pushed up on her toes to kiss him.
Jules ran over and pulled her best friend away from Noah and pulled her into her arms. They were both in tears, holding onto each other.
"I am so happy for you Kat. I am so happy you got your fairy tale and your happily ever after. I love you so much Kitty Kat" Jules congratulated her friend before pulling away and wiping her friends' tears.
Katie was freely crying. This was not how she saw her vacation going.
"I love you so much Jules. I don't know where I would be without you and Parker. You two are my rocks, my anchors. I love you guys so much" she said, taking a breath to calm herself down.
She couldn't stop crying. "Kat, we are always going to be there for you and that is never going to change. Besides, it is my duty to throw you a kick ass bachelorette party" she teased, causing Katie to start laughing.
"I love you JJ" Katie said pulling her friend into a hug again.
Eli smirked at his brother and wrapped his arm around his shoulders. "Damn bro looks like you are getting two girls for the price of one" he joked trying to break the ice.
Johnny stepped up and pulled Jules into his chest, "the hell he does" he growled.
Jules laughed and patted Johnny's chest, "back down big man" she teased Johnny.
"And we got your back for the bachelor party" Creed added.
"As long as you don't get me into trouble" Noah laughed when Katie slapped his chest, "you better not get into trouble" she warned.
"Well, I have to say, as far as proposals go, you did good Biker Hunk" Jules teased, causing everyone to laugh.
