Xander loved being the center of attention. But now was not one of those times.

He was in Vida's car, driving the gang after work at RockPorium. It had taken a lot of smooth talking, but she had eventually relented. Now, he was regretting ever getting behind the wheel at all. He had been so busy watching the road that he missed the giant pothole on the road that he drove right into. It was so big; he was surprised the car was still moving. Everyone was laughing and teasing him. This was one of those times he hated being the center of attention.
