Miss a Lined

Who knew one line of dialog could cause so much trouble?

Another "oldie" because I haven't posted here in a bit and because I thought it was time for something light-hearted. Besides, who doesn't love the fact that handsome Hutch with his suave style and smooth voice is occasionally tripped up by that adorable, little stutter?

I do not own any of the characters from "Starsky and Hutch." I do occasionally borrow them, but never with fraudulent intent or with an eye to monetary gain.

Miss-a-Lined

"Here comes McCoy now."
That's not so hard to say --
Inside my head.
But my lips and tongue
Get in the way
Of the words locked in my throat,
'Til what I've said
Does not recall
That less-than-weighty quote --
At all!
A soliloquy upon the stage
Would be no worse to utter,
For I cannot seem to disengage
My pesky, nervous stutter.
