Chapter 1347

I'll Go

Samantha asked Riley to move back when she heard movement in the hall. She was relieved to see it was Jesse and Claire. John Henry told her it would be them. He also said Summer and Jan were with him. It was good to know. It was one less thing to worry about.

Their standing orders from Cameron were to remove Precious, Jan and Summer from the base if it came under attack and was breached. They would try and take as many of the others with them as possible.

So far the base wasn't under any attack. It didn't appear to be under a direct threat either. Everything was just a precaution.

It was the activity in the TDE room which was the concern. The TDE room was clearly where the action was about to happen.

Samantha let Jesse and Claire into the room.

Claire already knew where Summer was at after she'd put her com in. She wanted to know more about the current situation. The atmosphere was very tense.

"How serious is this threat?" Claire asked.

Samantha wanted to downplay the danger. There didn't seem to be any to them currently.

"It's precautionary at this time." Samantha said. "There's no indication the base is under attack."

They could hear the TDE power up. It was on to make sure the energy bubbles arrived back at the base.

Jesse was concerned about the nature of the operation. She wanted to find out more. If there was going to be any action. She knew where it was going to be.

"I'm going to go and make sure they have everything under control in the TDE room." Jesse said. "We don't want any of our Terminator friends to have a problem."

Claire looked at Riley as she held Precious. She wouldn't be able to help Precious like Jesse could help her. It was time for her to step up.

"You're needed here, Jesse." Claire said. "I'll go."

Claire reached for Jesse's M4.

Sheila wanted to show Mary what the 'big time' was all about.

Ally told Mary to cash in her quarters and get some cash and a few chips.

Sheila and Ally watched the blackjack tables as well as the other gambling. They quickly worked out a strategy for Mary to win big. The goal was to keep the focus of attention off of Mary.

Sheila knew just how to do it.

Mary returned with three one hundred dollar bills in one hand and a stack of ten dollar chips in the other.

Sheila decided to play on one table, while Ally played with Mary on the other one. Sheila would win big to draw the attention of everyone to her, while Ally signaled Mary when to hit or not.

Ally knew everything was about perception. They could win all of the time, but it would draw unnecessary and negative attention. If they won and lost intermittently, it looked more like someone either had some luck or didn't. She wanted to make sure Mary understood how it would work.

"We need to win some and lose some so we don't draw suspicion." Ally said. "You just need to trust me. Can you do that?"

Mary thought she'd trusted them a lot already.

"I can." Mary said.

Ally didn't want to overdo it. She knew moderation was the key. She still thought it was going to be a lot for being on a cruise ship.

"We'll stop when you're up to twenty thousand dollars." Ally said.

Mary's mouth fell open slightly. She knew it was a lot of money.

"You're going to win twenty thousand dollars?" Mary asked.

Ally smiled. She wanted Mary to understand the nature of the game they were about to play. It wasn't about her. It was about Mary.

"No, YOU are going to win twenty thousand dollars." Ally said. "I'm just going to help."

Mary couldn't believe it. It almost sounded too easy.

"Can you do this anytime?" Mary asked.

Ally frowned. She didn't want to get into specifics. It might raise more questions.

"This is more up her alley." Ally said as she indicated Sheila. "She's the one who's good at this."

Sheila already started to win big at the next table.

Mary wondered if they would need to play all night. She expected to be there into the wee hours of the morning.

"How long will it take?" Mary asked.

Ally watched Sheila play. She made good progress.

"Not long." Ally said. "Look at her. She already has five thousand dollars."

Mary did look. It was hard to believe. She'd handed Sheila a single chip.

"I only gave her one ten dollar chip." Mary said.

Ally needed to make her understand it wouldn't be all wins. There needed to do some ups and downs to prevent anyone questioning them.

Based upon where they were actually at, no one would question them anyway. Jim and CamNet both understood Ally and Sheila needed to provide some type of excuse as to how they knew exactly where Laura was at. So far it was a ruse about being psychic and having ESP.

"She will play big. She'll win and lose big to provide cover for us." Ally said. "Remember to follow my signals and you'll need to lose big a couple of times. Don't worry about it. It's when we'll clean up. I mean YOU will clean up."

Ally went over the signals and Mary went to work.

In a few minutes Mary already won a thousand dollars. She was thrilled to death.

Ally glanced over at Sheila.

Sheila could see the big smile on Mary's face. She understood right now she wasn't thinking about all of her earlier questions about them. It was the whole point of what they were doing.

Cam-Gail and Hanna reached the suites and entered the private area. They decided to use the Honeymoon Suite. Cam-Gail picked Hanna up and carried her across the threshold of the doorway.

Hanna was a little surprised.

"What's that all about?" Hanna asked.

Cam-Gail smiled.

"I wanted you to feel special." Cam-Gail said.

Hanna thought Gail smiled a lot more in Cam's chassis than in her own. She wondered why. She didn't ask.

The two Metal girls stripped each other's dress off and headed for the bed.

It was time for dessert.

There was an immense amount of clapping and a standing ovation for the performers when the show ended in the main theater.

The mass of people started out of the theater. Every exit was jammed almost instantly. It made her wonder what kind of chaos there would actually be for all the people in the main theater as their muster station if there was a real emergency. She was sure there would be a lot of pushing and shoving. She didn't want to think about it.

Cameron didn't want to wait like before. They would use the crew elevator located forward and go down to deck five on it.

It was nice for her to see how happy Vanna, Allison and John looked.

"I hoped you liked it." Cameron said to them.

Vanna looked very pleased.

"I loved it." Vanna said.

Allison looked at Cameron and then at Vanna.

"So did I." Allison said.

John especially liked the ending. He thought the last two songs were dynamite.

"I liked it too." John said.

John liked the 'British Invasion' a lot better. He hoped Vanna and Allison would as well. He liked all the pretty showgirls. He figured they would too. The music was more upbeat and intense too. The fancy sets and all the dancing only added to the overall performance.

Cameron told them of her plan to use the crew elevator. They all agreed.

"Follow me." Cameron said.

Cameron led the group out and turned towards the bow. It was the opposite direction everyone else went.

She entered a door marked 'Crew Only' and there was a small elevator there. The elevator door opened as they entered the restricted area.

"It's another magic elevator." Allison said.

They went down to deck five and back towards amidships to get to the atrium. They were there in no time.

Cameron let John explain the dessert and drink options to Vanna and Allison. They all seemed thrilled at the selection.

"We can go to watch the Rockabilly Trio after this. There's dancing there too or we can hit the buffet and visit the sky lounge." Cameron said.

Everything sounded like fun to Allison. She was very happy to share it all with Vanna.

"There is so much to do." Allison said. "This beats sitting around the house all the time."

Vanna nodded.

"It sure beats four walls at the base." Vanna said.

Cameron didn't like to hear the girls indicate their lives were boring. She didn't mention the casino. She was aware Ally and Sheila were in there. She didn't know why. It was another reason they went to the atrium the way they did.

The time bubble already started to form on the TDE pad when Kyle and Derek entered the TDE room. Sarah was right behind them.

"Cover us." Derek said to Sarah.

There were two figures in the energy bubble.

They both collapsed as soon as the bubble dissipated.

"It's Steve and Tom." Kyle said.

They both seemed incapacitated.

"Clear the pad." Sarah said.

Derek and Kyle quickly moved them off to the side.

Another energy bubble began to form right away.

The next energy bubble brought Al and Ed. The same thing happened and they were in the same condition as Steve and Tom.

So far none of them had rebooted.

As soon as the pad was clear, the next energy bubble brought a lone figure. It looked like Cameron. They knew it must be Cammy.

She collapsed too. They moved her off the pad.

The energy bubble appeared one more time. It was empty. It quickly dissipated.

Sarah could see they were one short.

"Where's Savannah?" Sarah asked.

They waited for another energy bubble to appear.

None did.

John Henry informed them it was the end of the time transfers for now.

When they inquired about Savannah, John Henry said she didn't make it. She wasn't at Cameron's base either. There were six of Cameron's Terminators there and all six were inactive.

Kyle and Derek looked at each other. It was clear there was a problem.

"We need to go get her." Kyle said. "She must be all alone."

Sarah wanted a better answer. She wondered if they could reach Savannah quicker through the reverse method of what they'd just witnessed.

"Can you send us there to where Cammy came from?" Sarah asked.

John Henry didn't think it was wise. They would arrive naked and without weapons. He didn't even know where they would arrive at for sure.

"Something interfered with the energy bubbles when they were sent." John Henry said. "Whatever caused the disturbance, only started to power up then. It most likely would be at a higher intensity now. It might deflect any more energy bubbles or create a temporal error. You could end up anywhere or any when."

His answer didn't offer any assistance for Savannah.

Sarah was dissatisfied with the response.

"What about Savannah?" Sarah asked.

John Henry's answer was to the point. He could offer no other explanation.

"If she survived, she'll need to fight her way out." John Henry said.

Derek wanted to do more. Savannah was there by herself. Terminators wouldn't be able to assist her under the current conditions. He didn't know if humans would be able to assist her either depending upon the intensity of the energy field. He felt they needed to try anyway.

"We need to go after her." Derek said.

John Henry pointed out a possible closer threat to them.

"You need to have your Tasers out and make sure when the Terminators reboot there aren't any problems." John Henry said. "We don't know what the energy interference did to any of them. We only know it was an electronic attack of some kind."

Sarah, Kyle and Derek all exchanged grim glances. Things didn't sound good at all. They looked at the five naked figures lined up on the floor. They couldn't help but stare at Cammy's beauty.

Derek and Kyle watched Allison's figure develop into the beautiful shape Cammy currently exhibited. There was plenty of nudity and lack of privacy in the tunnels and bunkers. They were both sure Allison never looked as good as Cammy did right now. Neither one of them said it aloud.

It was clear to all of them the Metal girls were actually all much more beautiful than their human counterparts. It was mainly in the way they presented themselves. They always tried to look as good as possible. The human girls were just happy to wake up alive and have some food to eat.

Young Allison watched the SUV limp away. It seemed back to normal after a block. She tried to communicate with anyone but nothing worked.

She carefully moved towards the south building. It was the last place Savannah was known to be.

Cameron trained her for most of her known life for this. She didn't think she would be alone on her first combat operation but she was. Cameron prepared her for it too. She taught her not only to survive, but attack as well. She was trained to take the fight to the enemy.

She let her training guide her actions and movements.

It seemed like an advanced training mission at this point. She was sure once the bullets started flying, the reality of the situation would hit home.

She swiftly moved towards the front entrance. It was where Cammy and Savannah went in at.

She reminded herself not to 'think' about things but to 'act' and follow her training. It was about the ability to identify and respond to each situation as it began to develop. To be slow to recognize each threat for what it was would be the recipe for disaster. She needed to be proactive and not reactive. Cameron's motto popped into her head. It was, 'She who dares, wins.'

The light of the 'fire' was enough for Savannah to make out shapes and see things a little better. A quick check of the work room area turned up five dead men. It was two more than they'd detected with the drone scans. She didn't know where the additional men came from. None of their group was in the building.

It was clear the people came from somewhere. It wasn't from the other building either unless they were connected underground. She'd viewed the drone scans herself. John Henry would have alerted them if there was movement between the two buildings on the surface.

She quickly went back to check on the female. She was where she'd been. She thought about untying her from the desk but decided not to. Her threat level was unknown. If the fire in the one room got worse, maybe she would. Her actual status was still unknown. There was a fire sprinkler in the room. The fire hadn't started to spread from where it was at the far end of the building. She knew it could change quickly.

Savannah noted more movement in the back of the building. There were others there now. She knew it wasn't anyone from their group. She didn't know how many there were.

"I don't see any of them." The first man said.

"We know they were watching us." The second man said. "We should have bagged them. The ploy we used always works."

"Where did they go?" The first man asked. "These are our people here who are dead."

"They must have pulled out." The third man said. "It should have been impossible."

"Let's get the Bitch and go back." The second man said. "I'm not done with her yet. She's still really tight. It's rare in her position after this much time."

"Franco has been with her about twenty times." The first man said. "He hits it about every two hours. He has the same opinion you do."

"She's used up." The third man said. "Twelve guys have been with her for two days about ten times each."

Savannah listened. It could be a ploy to draw her out or false information directed at them. They were clearly expecting some Terminators and must have spotted one of the teams.

There were five dead men in this building. Now three more live ones were there. There were four in the north building and it was thought one of those was female. It may not have been.

Were there 'twelve men' or more? Maybe only 'twelve men' were with the female. Others may not have participated. She still needed to check the other building. She needed to know the team was clear.

Savannah peeked over the counter top at the three men. They held strange flashlights and searched for something with their guns drawn.

They must be looking for her.

It looked like they would need to bunch closer together to move past where the three dead men were in the back. They all looked at something.

"It looks like Franco bought it." The second man said.

"He was on his way back to 'do' the Bitch again." The first man said. "I told him sex with skanks would kill him."

The three men laughed.

"Let's go get her." The third man said as he pulled out a knife. "This is her fault. She's losing something just so I can hear her scream. She's going to pay for Franco."

Savannah flipped the selector on her M4 to full auto. She carefully lined up on the three men clustered around Franco.

It appeared Franco was the man she'd killed.

She heard a suppressed M4 fire off half a magazine on full auto. The men fell. The suppressed M4 fired the rest of its magazine into the fallen figures.

The magazine change could be heard and the bolt release hit as the bolt stripped off the top round from the fresh magazine and it was ready to fire again.

The whole procedure took about three seconds from the first shot to the magazine change.

Savannah tried to identify where the rounds came from.

She hadn't fired a shot.

Anna was back at one hundred percent as soon as Mel was a block away from where they'd let Young Allison off at.

She contacted CamNet and John Henry with the news Young Allison entered the combat zone alone.

John Henry told her it was the logical choice to make. He also thought there was going to be great repercussions over it. It wasn't going to sit well with anyone.

CamNet said she worked to find out how to stop the high frequency jamming field. There were eight drones ready for a 'maximum effort' strike as soon as Savannah and Young Allison were clear.

"What happens if they don't come out?" Anna asked. "Are you going to run another temporal mission?"

CamNet took a moment before she responded.

"No." CamNet said.

Anna couldn't believe what she'd just heard.

"Why not?" Anna asked.

CamNet asked Young Allison to reaffirm what she'd told her in regards to the subject. She didn't agree with it personally. She would however respect the wishes of Young Allison. Young Allison knew what was best for the rest of them. She could only repeat what she was instructed.

"Young Allison said if they don't come out together, life is supposed to go on without them. Vanna and Allison are to take their places as part of the 'Natural Order'." CamNet said. "It was her final wish."

CamNet didn't mention it was only until Summer would replace them. It was what Young Allison worked so diligently on in secret with Summer.

Summer and Jan were in the Command Center with John Henry.

His server handled all the com traffic as well as dealing with everything else and CamNet.

Summer watched every screen John Henry or CamNet put up for her to look at.

Jan tried to watch them too, but they were all going by so fast.

John Henry was about to put up a screen of the TDE room so she could see her parents. CamNet blocked it. They didn't know what was going to happen with the Terminators in there. Things could get 'messy'.

Summer hoped John Henry could come up with something to restore communications with Savannah and Young Allison. It didn't look like it.

In a very short time, Ally was able to get Mary up to ten thousand dollars. She'd been close before but Ally allowed it to drop back down by half twice. Now it was at ten thousand dollars, it was time for the big play.

Sheila on the other table drew the crowd. She was at thirty thousand dollars. She made big bets. Some of them paid off and others didn't. It was all part of the plan.

Ally went ahead and signaled the bet for Mary and she made it to twenty thousand dollars.

Some people began to look their way when Sheila pushed it up to fifty thousand dollars on her table. All the attention was focused back on her.

Ally was ready to move on.

"It is time to cash out." Ally said.

Mary looked like she wanted to keep going. She knew she needed to follow the plan, otherwise she could end up with nothing.

"OK." Mary said.

She collected her winnings from the table. She went to cash them in.

The crowd was still around Sheila.

Mary looked at the tray of chips she held.

"Should I have them pay me in hundreds?" Mary asked.

Ally didn't think a lot of cash was a good idea.

"It's too much cash to carry around or leave in your room." Ally said. "They can put it as credit on your room card."

Mary was worried about it.

"Is it safe?" Mary asked.

Ally was pretty sure CamNet could be trusted.

"It is." Ally said. "Do you want some spending cash for San Francisco?"

Mary felt the three hundred dollars in her pocket.

"I could use a little more." Mary said.

Ally wanted Mary to leave the twenty thousand dollars intact. She knew there was another way to give her a chance for some more spending cash. She picked out a new machine.

"Do you know how to play 'video poker'?" Ally asked.

Mary frowned. She wasn't much of a gambler.

"Not really." Mary said.

Ally smiled.

"You will." Ally said.

Mary quickly realized it didn't matter if she knew how to play or not. She was going to win anyway.

"Let's do it." Mary said. "I like to learn new things."

Cameron was pleased the girls and John all tried some desserts and some of the specialty drinks. They all seemed to be having a good time and fun. It was actually quite beautiful for her to watch the three of them interact. It was all so natural. It was the 'Natural Order', even if it wasn't the 'right' people. It was still the same people.

She decided to get John's drink for him. She made sure he received his 'special medication'. She wanted him to be ready for her in Ally's chassis later on. After his recent interaction with Allison and Vanna, she believed he would be more than ready.

Cameron smiled when she gave John his drink.

He smiled back and thanked her.

They were going to check out the Rockabilly Trio next. They needed to go up two floors. Cameron didn't want Vanna and Allison to use the stairs in their long dresses and fancy shoes. They just weren't used to wearing either.

Cameron led the group to the elevator. It opened as they approached.

"It's the 'magic elevator'." Allison said.

Cameron wanted to get Ally on a timetable.

She asked Holly to lead the group to the rear lounge on deck seven.

She made sure John was with Vanna and Allison before she dropped back and contacted Jim. He didn't have any updates for her. She thought it was a bit odd. She contacted Ally and told her to be at the Owner's Suite in two hours.

Cameron rejoined the group.

Claire hurried to the TDE room. She carried three more Tasers plus her own.

Jesse took the M4 back from her. Everyone gave her their Taser instead. It seemed more appropriate for the occasion.

Claire ran the distance to the TDE room.

John Henry alerted the group in the TDE room Claire was on her way.

Sarah could hear her coming.

Derek and Kyle waited to see who would reboot first.

Claire arrived and gave everyone a second Taser.

When she handed Sarah her second one, their hands touched. Sarah gave Claire's hand a little squeeze. The act made Claire feel a little better. It helped ease her apprehension. She was unaware of the look of concern and worry on her face.

It also made her think she was almost with Sarah earlier. She really believed it happened until she woke up and it was Jesse she was kissing and who was touching her. She needed to focus on what was happening right now. The indication was things might turn ugly.

"When will something happen?" Claire asked.

They didn't know for sure.

"I think this is the hundred and twenty second reboot." Sarah said. "I think it may be past that amount of time for some of them."

Kyle and Derek didn't know either.

"We just need to wait a little bit." Derek said.

Claire wasn't aware Savannah was still at the location or her daughter was going to help her.

"Where's Savannah?" Claire asked.

Sarah didn't want to cause her more worry, but she was going to be honest. She told her what they knew. It wasn't good and it wasn't much.

"She didn't make the transfer." Sarah said. "It's all we know."

Anna was still in the second row seat of the SUV. Young Allison previously moved the M82A1 up earlier. She checked and armed the weapon. She wanted to do what she could to help protect Young Allison.

"We have eight drones on the outside looking down at an angle." Anna said. "I want a target."

CamNet contacted her and said as soon as something was detected, she would be the first to know, if it was on the side she is on.

Anna might not be able to enter the target area yet. She was sure going to 'reach out and touch someone' in it if she could. She was very upset Young Allison went in alone.

Anyone other than Savannah or Young Allison was going down for good.

The M82A1 searched for a target.

Young Allison entered the building through the front door and followed the path Cammy and Savannah took. She was aware of the layout of the building and watched where each of the teams entered earlier from the thermal drone scans. She approached the room where the female was. She carefully looked in the room. She couldn't see anything. She lifted her night vision and was able to pick up a faint image for a second. There was still someone on a desk.

She wondered why they were on a desk instead of on the floor. She thought maybe it was so their arms and legs could be tied to the legs of the desk. It was really something she didn't want to think about. She didn't want it to happen to her. She didn't want it to happen to Savannah. She didn't want it to happen to anyone. Now wasn't the time to worry about it. She moved on towards the workroom area.

There was a glow in the back. She paused at the doorway and watched. She checked behind her with her malfunctioning night vision but it was almost total darkness. She didn't see Savannah.

There were three figures silhouetted with the glow of what looked like a fire behind them. They were talking. They took out some kind of strange flashlights and held weapons. They were probably searching for Savannah. She saw one of them pull a knife out. It was enough for her to see.

She dropped down on one knee and flipped her selector to full auto on her M4. She fired half the magazine at chest height and all three figures fell. She fired the second half of the magazine into the fallen bodies. She dropped the empty magazine and put a fresh one in. She hit the bolt release and a round from the fresh magazine was now in the chamber. She was ready to rock. She changed her position while she did the magazine change. It was all one fluid motion. She didn't even have to think about it.

She waited for ten seconds.

There was no sound. No one else appeared.

Young Allison needed to identify Savannah if she was there.

"Pink." Young Allison said.

There was a pause.

Maybe no one else was alive in there. The knot in her stomach seemed to tighten slightly.

"Butterfly." Savannah said.

Moments ago:

Savannah watched as the three figures were taken down. She knew there was someone else there. She wasn't sure if Derek or Kyle was able to come. It could be Sarah or Jesse too. She hoped it was one of them since they'd used a suppressed M4 and took down the hostile targets. She wasn't really sure how they could have gotten there so quickly. They all should have been at the base still.

"Pink." A voice said.

Savannah felt her gut tie in a knot. It couldn't be. She knew it was Young Allison. She was here for her and she'd just killed three people. It all made sense now. Young Allison wasn't on her way back to Palmdale. She'd followed her and Cammy. She finally managed to answer.

"Butterfly." Savannah said.

She just knew Young Allison was going to pull a fast one. CamNet had to help her pull off the deception. She felt she should be more upset at all of them. She couldn't feel upset at anyone right now.

She was going to move towards Young Allison so they could pull out. She looked around and started to move.

"I'm here." Young Allison whispered.

Savannah jumped a little. She didn't hear a thing. Young Allison was right there next to her almost. How did she move so fast and quietly?

"You shouldn't be here." Savannah said.

Young Allison didn't want to do this now. They could discuss it later on. It just wasn't the time right now. She was there to help Savannah.

"I am here." Young Allison said. "What's your objective?"

Savannah wondered about the Terminators.

"Did all of our team get out?" Savannah asked.

Young Allison knew they did.

"They did. All of them were inactive as I entered the jamming zone and lost communications." Young Allison said. "I needed to send Anna and Mel back a couple of blocks since they were being affected. I didn't want them to get stuck."

Savannah needed to think about what Young Allison said for a few seconds. Things seemed even worse to her now.

"You came here by yourself?" Savannah asked.

Young Allison didn't think it should be an issue. There was no one else to come.

"I did. I'm the only one here that's not affected besides you. There was no one else." Young Allison said. "I knew your last approximate location. I was only a few minutes behind you."

Savannah wanted to get Young Allison away from there.

"We need to pull out." Savannah said. "There's a captive."

Young Allison knew what happened.

"I saw the female captive." Young Allison said.

Savannah wanted to bring her with them.

"Let's go." Savannah said. "We can get her on the way out."

Young Allison thought they should know who she was first. If she was from the future, and not sent by Future John, she needed to remain there. She needed to be terminated. She didn't think withdrawing was the proper action to take. They needed to secure both buildings.

"What about the other building?" Young Allison asked. "We're already here on the ground. Let's clean it out."

Savannah found it hard to believe what Young Allison just indicated. She didn't want to chance it. She wanted to destroy the buildings.

"We'll withdraw and call in a drone strike." Savannah said.

Young Allison wanted to do more. She didn't know if any missiles would be affected when they were fired. They may not track properly.

"Let's knock out the jamming device first." Young Allison said. "The drones will be able to destroy everything more thoroughly if we do."

Savannah realized it was a good idea. There was only one problem.

"We don't know where it is." Savannah said.

The solution seems simple enough to Young Allison.

"Let's find it." Young Allison said. "Come on."

Young Allison started to move in the direction of where the 'fire' was at. There was no smoke though. Maybe it wasn't really a fire.

Savannah wanted to get Young Allison out of the danger zone.

"Wait." Savannah said.

Young Allison didn't want to delay.

"Stay with me." Young Allison said.

Savannah couldn't believe it. Young Allison wanted to press the attack.

"You're not going to withdraw are you?" Savannah asked.

Young Allison wanted to help their team as much as possible.

"No." Young Allison said.

Savannah wanted some control. This wasn't her first 'rodeo'. She hoped her experience would prove beneficial to them.

"Let me lead then." Savannah said. "Stay low and watch our six."

Savannah heard several silenced shots as they moved past the fallen men. She glanced in back.

Young Allison held her silenced M9.

"I don't like surprises." Young Allison said.

Savannah swallowed hard. She felt like she was with Cameron. She realized the future was a lot closer than she'd thought.

Young Allison didn't seem fazed at all. She was a stone cold killer.

No.

Young Allison was a weapon.

The female Fanatic reached the end of the cul-de-sac and ran out into the field. She headed in the direction of where she'd left the stake side truck. She took one last look at the target building. She saw lights come on all around it. It didn't appear any alarm had been raised. She looked at the roll of duct tape around her left wrist. She hoped it was still usable.

She hadn't seen the coyote. She figured it must have gone in the same direction she did. she didn't think it would attack her. Most of the animals were scared of humans. As long as it didn't have any young nearby, she didn't think it would be a problem. If it did attack. It would most likely try to attack her silently.

It seemed like a good time to throw caution in the wind and put as much distance between her and the target location as possible. She planned to return soon enough. She already calculated how she would do the attack. Since the group would more than likely be on some type of alert, she figured going down the driveway alongside of the building and backing into it was out. She would need to go through with her original plan and send the truck through the office area.

She reached the cul-de-sac she'd come through at the beginning. She would need to traverse through the one property and over the fence. She'd left a pallet near the fence to make her entry into it a little easier.

She entered the cul-de-sac and headed for the building. She checked around her as she moved. She looked for human targets as well as animal targets. She hoped she didn't encounter either.

There was no one around. She entered the first property. She moved along the side of the building towards the rear area. She was soon at the rear wall. She set the pallet upright against the wall. It would act as a ladder for her. It would also make it much easier for her to go over the wall.

She started up the pallet and paused. She could hear voices on the other side of the wall.

"Damn." The female Fanatic softly said to herself.

She moved her eyes up to the top of the wall and looked. There was a car parked in back of the stake side truck. Her first instinct was it might be the police. She looked a little further. It wasn't a police car. It didn't appear to be private security either. Now she wondered who they were. She couldn't quite make out what they were saying. She would need to get closer. She went down from the pallet and checked around her again. She moved the pallet over to the very corner of the property. She stood it up right against the wall again. She went up it and looked over to the other side.

There were only two figures moving around. One of them was up on the flatbed itself. It appeared they were checking to see what the cargo was.

She went over the wall and landed in the corner. She crouched down a moment and waited. Neither of the men looked in her direction. She tried to keep the body of the truck between her and the two men. She needed to get closer to make any kind of a move. She wasn't going to let them take the stake side truck from her. She could hear them clearly now.

"I don't know what they are." The first man said. "They're some kind of chemicals."

"Is it anything we can sell?" The second man asked.

"How would we sell it?" The first man asked. "The drums weigh like five hundred pounds each."

"We would take the truck, dummy." The second man said.

"I think we should just go." The first man said. "Whoever parked it here is going to come back for it."

"Don't be such a sissy." The second man said. "What's in the crate?"

"I can't open it." The first man said. "I don't know."

"Use your knife and pry it open." The second man said. "You sure are dense."

"I don't see you up here." The first man said.

The female Fanatic was almost to the front of the truck. So far they hadn't spotted her. If she wasn't so close to the target location, she would shoot both of them. She knew they at least carried knives based upon what the one man said.

She reached the front of the truck.

There were several options available to her. She could go under the truck and use her knife against the legs or feet of the second man. He would most likely go down. She might be able to finish him before the first man realized what happened. If she could, the second man would come down to investigate.

Another option would be to confront them indirectly with the Beretta. She should be able to move fast enough to get into a position where she could cover both of them at the same time. She couldn't get a good look at their car. She didn't know if there was anyone else in it. It was something she needed to consider.

She looked around on the ground and found a small rock. There was a metal structure built onto the back of the building she was parked behind. She tossed the rock towards the metal building and heard it hit with a metallic 'clang'.

"What was that?" The first man asked.

"There might be someone in the building." The second man said.

"It's probably why the truck is parked behind the building, and you thought I was the moron." The first man said.

"Watch your mouth." The second man said.

"I say we roll." The first man said. "There's nothing here we can take easily."

She could feel the truck rock a little bit. She hoped the man climbed out of the back of it. She heard a dull thud noise as he landed on the pavement.

"I still think we should take the truck." The second man said.

"It's up to you, dude. I'm going to leave in our car." The first man said. "You can either get in with me or I'll leave you here and you can take the truck. It's your call."

"Alright, let's go." The second man said.

She knew she was going to need another vehicle if she survived the explosion at the building. There was one right there in front of her. She would still need to confront the two men. She moved along the side of the truck opposite of where they were at. She stopped at the corner of the cab and the flatbed. She looked through the slats of the stake sides. She heard the car start before either of the two men got into it. She realized there was at least one more person in the vehicle.

'Damn.' The female Fanatic thought.

The female Fanatic watched the two men get into the car and drive away. She figured they wouldn't go very far. They would probably be on the next street soon enough to see if there was something they could steal easily. Right now she needed to get her bomb ready.

CamNet's Terminators made their way towards their new objective. They were aware without any drone coverage; they may lose all the other targets. They currently had a target of their own. They advanced up the hillside.

Through several different vision spectrums, they were able to view the terrain relatively clearly. So far they hadn't encountered any trip wires or sensors.

They spoke in an audio level only another Terminator could hear.

"There are several men by the white van." Lena said.

Tina was more worried about what was between them and the men.

"We need to watch out for an armed sentry." Tina said.

Lena had scanned the landscape thoroughly.

"I don't believe there are any." Lena said. "If there is one, I believe they will be over the entrance."

Tina didn't want to take any chances.

"Maybe we should make it our approach then." Tina said.

Lena wanted to listen to what the men were discussing.

"We need to hurry so we can see what they're talking about." Lena said.

Tina figured she already knew.

"They're probably talking about all the destruction the female Fanatic caused." Tina said. " They don't know it's all at the hands of one person."

Lena knew it was true to a certain extent.

"I think there's some Resistance action involved there as well." Lena said.

The two Terminators moved up higher on the side of the hill. They would make a downward approach towards the opening. They figured it was better not to trip an alarm and get shot at than to hear what the men discussed with each other.

They needed to worry about any small rocks being dislodged as they moved. They would roll down towards the face of the mine.

"It sure would have been nice to have a drone scan of the area." Lena said.

Tina thought so as well.

"It would, but we don't." Tina Said. "We're here now."

So far nothing was spotted which could detect them. No sentries were spotted either. They were soon over the entrance to the mine. They were close enough where they could hear the men talk.

It was much as they thought it would be. It was a status update from the driver of the white van and the men in the mine. They said they'd lost contact with everyone as well. They were a little surprised to watch the driver get back in the white van and drive off. They figured he was headed back to the location he left from. Without drone support, they wouldn't know where he actually went. He could be going to an alternate location as well.

CamNet's Terminators watched as two men walked back towards the opening of the mine.

I'll Go

Things can start out slow
Under the spell of mistletoe
They can expand like a dynamo
They may even become a tornado

One needs to question
If it's just a game of lotto
Will they do the calypso
Or end up as another domino

No one wants to be
Second best with a cameo
Nothing changes with the status quo
Who don't think so

Things should grow and expand
There should be joy and gusto
Love and feelings should overflow
Loneliness gets a firm veto

The only thing behind another
Should be their shadow
To seek the end of a rainbow
Take me along, I'll go

Nobody
