Did they really think they didn't notice?
After all, it wasn't everyday that a human walked into the forest, said some weird words, and transformed into some kind of colorful superhero. Yeah, it was frightening at first, but it started to become routine. Of course, they would never say anything. They knew that these people were protecting the world. They knew that every kind of creature had a right to privacy, and this was something that was very private, so they wouldn't say anything.
It was more than the forest animals. Nick's dog, Shadow, could sense it too. Nick had a different feeling to him now. He was more comfortable, more sure of himself. And it was a good thing.
